Johnny Chang

My name is Johnny Chang. I’m a former gang member who spent 13+ years in the system. Today, by God’s grace, I’m a minister traveling the world to share a message of hope—starting with this: God has a plan for you, even in your darkest moments of despair. 
 I entered Y.A. at 12 years old and stayed locked up until I was 24. I’ve done time on level 3 and 4 yards. I know what it feels like to be broken, angry, and full of questions. I used to hate God. I couldn’t understand how a so-called “loving” God could allow so much hatred and pain in the world. 
 But now I see—He was crafting my story.
 There were times I thought my life was done, but God had a different plan. Since getting out, I’ve dedicated my life to the gospel and I now spread His message around the world. I’m here to tell you: real change is possible, and it starts in the heart.
 Everything I share on this channel is meant to help you deal with isolation, depression, regret, and hopelessness—and show you that even behind these walls, God can meet you, transform you, and give your life new meaning.
 I want to help you build a relationship with God that can’t be shaken. A life grounded in peace and purpose that starts at the core of your heart.
