Inmates Ask IMPOSSIBLE Questions About Salvation

How you doing, Johnny? How you doing? I want to ask you, can you lose your salvation? That's a major question. Good question. So, if you can lose your salvation, it insinuates that you can gain your salvation and work for your salvation, and we can't do that, right? Without the blood of Jesus, no matter how obedient I am, I can't receive salvation. Without the shedding of blood, there's no remission for sins, right? So what I tell people is, you can never lose your salvation if you truly believe in the word of God, right? Amen? So, after you pass away, speaking of heavenly things, are you justified in heaven, and sin doesn't reign in heaven? Are we still perfect, and do we still, I mean, how do you look at heavenly things as being justified? Amen. When you sin, because you have flesh, right, obviously, but all sin stems from thinking. For example, you're not going to just do whatever you want. You have to think lustful thoughts. Let's say you struggle with lust, you think lustful thoughts, it bleeds into your heart and lustful behavior, right? You have to get rid of it at the root, which is your thinking process. The way to get rid of that is being in your word. So the reason why I've read the Bible 24 times, it's not a flex, it's not to show people I'm better than you. It's because I'm actively replacing my thoughts with the word of God. 2 Corinthians 10, verse 5 tells us we must bring every thought captive to the obedience of the word Christ. Understand what I'm saying?

So you have to take every thought, good or bad, and bring it to the obedience. The issue is, people trust their thoughts, and that's why they sin. So they'll be like, I want to do drugs today, and they'll try to fight it, but they've already let the intruder, the thief, Satan, inside of their brain. Imagine if you're over here and you're at your house, let's say, and someone's banging on your door, and they look like a robber, masked up, and they have a gun. You're not going to let them in. Why? Because if you let them in, you're going to have to struggle. You may die, you may fight with them. You may win, but you're going to have to struggle. You get what I'm saying? It's the same thing. Satan plants thoughts, he's knocking on your brain, let me in. If you let that in, it starts to rob you of your peace and your happiness, and you start to sin. Do you understand what I'm saying? We've got to stop it at the root, which is our thoughts, and that's what keeps us perfected. Trusting the Word of God is going to keep us perfected. You can never confirm your perfection amongst yourself, because if I look at myself and I'm doing good, then I'm going to say I'm perfect. But if I'm doing bad, then I'm going to feel like I'm a sinner. What God wants you to do is take your eyes off of yourself, and look at the Word of God that never changes. Do you get what I'm saying? Read Hebrews 10, 14 when you feel like you're not perfect, and let's see if that word changed that says you're perfected forever. You get what I'm saying? I've read the Bible five times, but at this point in my journey, I'm really, really screwed up, man, because now I cry on the dime, man.

I see atrocities all the time. I see drug addicts falling down on the ground and passing out. I didn't ask to want to care this much, and I'm trying to figure out what is God trying to do with me? Why are you opening me up this much? Why are you forcing me to care now where I didn't care? It was easier for me to when I just knew you intellectually, but now I know you personally, and it's affecting me deeply, and it's scaring the hell out of me, man. How do I stop from being so scared? So number one, fear never from God, right? God says fear is not from the Lord. Confusion, spirit of confusion is also not from God. So once you start feeling fear, you got to check it right there. Wait a minute. Is this from God or is this from Satan? Because the word tells me fear is not from God. Condemnation is not from God. So you got to understand that it's Satan trying to condemn you, not convict you. There's a difference, right? Number one. Number two, you have to recognize that you're interconnected with God now. So of course, he's going to pour that heart to love on people, which is beautiful in its way. But the love that you have to give them is the gospel. Them falling down, you can't help them in any other way but giving them the gospel of their salvation. You understand what I'm saying? So you can't sit there and just feel bad for them. You should actually be happy. You should be like, you know what, God?

High five them. Thank you. Because right now is an opportunity for me to save this person through your gospel. I'm not going to feel sad. I'm going to uplift this brother and it's okay. Keep doing it. And you'll notice one by one by one, you start to affect people in this way and they start to change rapidly. I still have youngsters under me. Recently someone got shot, one of my youngins, and they actually came to me and they were, you know, all messed up. And of course I was sad. One of your friends gets shot, you're going to feel some type of way. But the one thing was, instead of getting in my emotions or being angry or fearful, I was able to preach the gospel to him. And I told him, when you trust yourself, these are the consequences that happen. I kept it real with him because I'm big homie. That's what it seems, right? But verse 13, can we pull that up, please who does the work? For it is God which work is in you. You understand what I'm saying? That's the difference secondly you quoted Second you quoted James chapter 2 verse 17. Please pull that up Even so faith if it hath not works is dead being alone right faith without works is dead Can I ask you who he's speaking to in this context? With you'll be honest with you. I don't even know he was speaking to right then and there man I know I know a lot of times I spoke to the Pharisees. I know that amen. So that's right James chapter 1 verse 1 Let's exegete the scripture James a servant of God and the Lord of Jesus Christ to the 12 tribes which are scattered abroad greetings Do you know who the 12 tribes are? They're the Israelites, you know, the Israelites did that the Pharisees they crucified Jesus

I'll be honest with you. I know when he was speaking to the Pharisees See the Pharisees won't even keep in the law themselves. They were just doing it for self-ambition Amen, but I do know this that a lot of times people think I just because I got saved You know, I continue to do what I do and it's okay because I'm saved by grace and that's a lot of the enemy Sure, that's why you said you got to run your race with trembling fear. You know what I mean? I do believe that Oh God says, you know what? Yeah, it's through Christ Jesus who straightened us sure and it's gonna be a constant battle for the rest of our lives But we got to be focused on That cross and we we got to please God, you know what I mean? We got to we got to walk this walk for the Lord man and save souls, you know what I mean? Yeah, you quoted the scripture that says if you love me keep my commandments, right? Yes, sir But let me ask you something Does it say in first John chapter 4 that you are love or does it say God is love God is love? Amen, and what did Jesus say when he said he came to this earth? Don't think I come to abolish the law I come to what? fulfilled fulfilled the laws Yeah, that's why it says nobody loves me when I look down Psalm 14 verse 2 to 3 Romans 3 verse 10 tells us Nobody loves me right when I look down. There's none that do with good. There's none that's righteous So he's just making a point that if you think you can keep the law You're actually doing what Jesus's work is you understand what I'm don't understand what you're saying. Who is it speaking to? speak to them so Satan jumped inside of him planted the thought Not a problem because Peter also denied Jesus, but why did Judas hang himself? It's very simple Matthew chapter 27 verse 4. You'll see his heart. So we just saw it was verse 4 We just saw that it was Satan who influenced him, right? So he should say nah, it was Satan who made me do it, right? But what does he say saying I have sinned wait a minute. The Bible says Judas was Possessed by Satan. Why is he taking accountability? What you're asking people to do brother is take accountability for Satan, and we don't do that Now you This is what I'm saying. I understand that you got to keep your faith in Jesus Christ I know that amen, but this is what I'm saying that you we gotta we gotta obey the law of Christ, man You got to you got to walk that walk. You got to walk that righteous walk for sure You can't say I'm gonna just do the good things. I used to do and it's okay, and I'm gonna enter heaven Can I ask you something? Do you not obey the walk of Christ? I'm sure you're obedient, right? Yeah, I'm obedient to God

I trust in God all of us are if you think about it. It's hypotheticals I don't know any a true Christian that goes, you know what I could do whatever I want party I don't know real Christians like that. You know what I'm saying? It's all hypotheticals. I believe you know, you're correct You said you said real could you said the real Christian? I just started reading the Bible and I've been told that the only sin that can't be forgiven is suicide. Mm-hmm. Does it say that in the Bible? No, because suicide is also murder. You understand what I'm saying? Right King Saul for example leaning on his sword, right? That is kind of a Catholic belief and it's not to knock them or anything It makes sense, but there's tons of murderers in heaven suicide is just murdering yourself. Would you agree? Right Saul who turned into Paul wrote 14 epistles of the book murdered tens of thousands of people What's difference between him and murdering one person? You get what I'm saying? So it's it's a common lie but you also have to recognize where do these suicidal thoughts come from when you're laying in your bunk at bed and And you know at night one thought comes in negative thought and it's a really small thought usually I'm tired or I'm lonely Right, and then it starts to spiral man. I'm lonely. Why am I in prison y'all nothing? Spiraling now, you understand what I'm saying? And just like the example that I showed Satan is able to plant thoughts inside of our heart hearts, feelings, thoughts inside of our brain as well. So you gotta understand, right, if these are my legs and I choose to walk to that wall, right, then I should have control of my legs, walk to that wall and stop. But if I'm walking and I'm like, okay, I'm gonna stop midway, but I keep going, it's no longer my legs that are in control. There's something that's either pushing me or a force that's dragging me. Likewise, if those thoughts are your thoughts, right, you should be able to say, okay, I'm having suicidal thoughts,

I'm having negative thoughts, they need to stop. But notice when you try to stop them, they pour even more. That's how you know it's the enemy. You understand what I'm saying? You have to learn to distrust your thoughts. That's what the Bible tells us. So when it comes to suicide or anything like that, it's not just, you know, do I get to heaven or do I get to hell? The bigger issue here is I'm not gonna trust my thoughts so that you don't even get to that position of questioning that, right? God doesn't want us to trust our thoughts. The first commandment he actually gave Adam and Eve was not just have dominion, but he said, do not eat from the knowledge of the tree, right, of good and evil, right? So he didn't want us to have this type of knowledge. Sadly, we have that. We have our good, we have our bad, and we just keep trusting ourselves. God never wanted us to be like that. He wanted us to be like kids. You know how kids be soaking up everything, right? He wants us to accept rather than understand because we can never understand God. Nobody can ever analytically explain to me how a man walked on water.

You get what I'm saying? We have to learn to accept, so yeah. I often hear in church, people talk about God's unconditional love. And my question is, is that actually scriptural or is that something that us as Christians say? Because when you look at John 3, 16, it says, whosoever believe is an Messiah. That sounds like a condition to me. Yeah, so the way I explain it, that's a very good question, by the way. It is an unconditional love only because of the act that he did. So he didn't send Jesus after you believed in him. He sent him before you believed in him. You get what I'm saying? So if he sent Jesus, he just needs us to receive it. And I used this example earlier, but I'll use it again. Let's say, what was your name again? I'm sorry. Juan. Juan. and you'll receive that, right? But let's say you don't accept what I say. Man, Johnny, he looks broke. $10,000, you don't even look like you got $10, let's say, right? You are not gonna hop on that plane. Even if this $10,000 is yours, you're not gonna receive it. You understand what I'm saying? God needs us to just receive. I mean, you can say that's a condition, but that's a condition of like very simple. It's not like keep the commandments and then I'll love you. It's like, I did this, do you believe me? That's really all it is. And we use faith and belief every single day, right? We wake up, how do we know our cell door is not gonna lock up forever? We have faith that it's gonna open up. How do I know driving across the bridge that it's not gonna collapse? I'm not testing every pillar, I have faith. So it's the same thing. You apply faith in everything, why not apply it to God? It's really simple, amen? Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. I just wanna know where you draw the line at with family, true family, real blood family, that's not walking without it's will.

Because they were pressing up on Jesus in the crowd, they said, your mother and your brother wanna talk to you. Who are my brother? He said, who is my mother and who is my brother? But those who do the will of my father. So also in Corinthians, it says, come out from among me that you be not unclean, you separate yourselves. Amen. Where's that line drawn? The line is drawn in Romans chapter seven, verse 15 and verse 20. So you guys pull it up. If you look at people with the spiritual lens, that's what's gonna draw the line. The word is always the discernment. Otherwise, it's my feelings, my opinions. You get what I'm saying? We gotta go to the word. So if you look at Romans chapter seven, verse 15, it says, for the good that I wanna do, I don't do. The good that I allow, I mean the bad that I do, I don't allow. And what I hate that I do. Romans chapter seven, verse 15. You see that? Paul wrote this. He's trying to say he wants to do good, but he can't do good.

He keeps on falling and living this up and down lifestyle. This is why I love Paul. He's talking about us. You guys wanna be happy, you're not happy. You guys don't wanna be locked up, we're locked up. We hate these types of things, but we keep on doing them. Would you guys agree? But there's a reason why. If you look at Romans seven, verse 25, verses down, it explains it very clearly here. Verse 20. Now, if I do that, I would not. So if I do the things I don't wanna do, it says it is no longer I that do it, but what? sin that dwells in me. You get what I'm saying? So this person who murdered this person, the dude who shot my youngster, in my heart, I don't appreciate it. Just this. In my heart, I don't want to forgive, right? That's my own heart. But if I look at that person with the lens, the enemy, as we say, the opp, I can see that, wait a minute, the same sin is also dragging this person who shot my youngster. So then naturally we can humanize people. Me, myself, no way. I'll be like, you guys gotta load up the car, you gotta get them back. But that's my heart. Where I draw the line is through the discernment of the word. So your family members, you have to look beyond the exterior and start looking on the interior. You understand? They're getting dragged by something. And obviously it's Satan. It's clear as day. We are to humanize people and extend the grace to them. And obviously if they keep rejecting, you have to pray for them. Because if God can save a person like you who's in prison, he's definitely going to be able to save everybody else who's in your family. Now I'm in agreement with you about salvation. You can't lose your salvation. But some people notoriously like to use the passage that the young man just used over there, which is Matthew chapter 7 verse 21 through 23. Can you give us some clarity on that? Absolutely. So let's pull

it up. We're going to look at the context here of what he's talking about. 21 says, not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that do with the will of my father, which is in heaven. Verse 22, many will say to me in that day, we have to pay attention here, Lord, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? So what's the first thing they mentioned here? Prophecy, right? And then it says, and in thy name cast out devils, right? And then it says, what is casting out devils? Deliverance, right? And then it says, and in thy name done many wonderful, what? Works. Works. Understand? And then he says, will I profess unto them, I never knew you depart me ye who work iniquity. So what is iniquity to God? What does God say? You will know them by their gifts, fruits, understand? Fruits is love, long suffering, kindness, meekness, all of that, right? Who is the actual fruit of the womb? It's Luke chapter one, verse 41 and 42. Let's look at that, right? So people are focused on works. They're focused on gifts, prophecy and tongues and visions and dreams. But if you look at Luke chapter one, verse 41, it talks about somebody. And it came to pass that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy ghost, verse 40, verse 42. And she spake out with the loud voice and said, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the what fruit of what? Who is the fruit Jesus that hung on the tree for our sins? Amen. So people are focused on gifts, dreams, visions. In this context, they're not focusing on the fruit. You will know them by the fruits, which is Jesus. They're focusing on gifts and prophecy, which is great, but our main focus needs to be the gospel that Jesus brought died for our sins, was made sin who knew no sin, made us perfect, righteous and holy. Do you understand the context? Yes, sir. Thank you. So I just want to ask one more thing. What is the Lord giving you about deliverance? Because a lot of us as Christians, we come in and we don't know nothing about it because nobody preaches it. Yeah. True deliverance is found in Luke chapter four, verse 18 and 19. So I'm always going to give you scripture and I guess don't want, right? So a lot of people think deliverance is casting out demons and things like that, which is true, but the true deliverance, if you look at it, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath appointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He had sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of the sight of the blind, to set a liberty, them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. So what is true deliverance? The gospel, because the gospel frees you from everything. Blinded people, once they come to the gospel can see, you understand

what I'm saying? That's what true deliverance is. But a lot of people are focusing on feeling God, not having faith in God, different Fs. You understand what I'm saying? Right? So we have to focus on faith, the word, because you have to study to show yourself approved. A lot of people, sadly, they don't study. It's a lot of, in my opinion, in my belief, in my perspective, what this word means to me, again, it's very dangerous. That's. Why it says study to show yourself approved James chapter 3 says if you're gonna teach you're gonna be held to a higher standard And we have to keep we have to be real about that. A lot of people speak about their feelings That's why there's one Bible 44,000 denominations one Bible one central message John 539, which is Jesus in all of the scripture But they're talking about feelings here. Let's talk about deliverance here. Talk about prophecy here, and it's not to knock them They all want to love God, but the issue is if you don't keep it Jesus center It doesn't matter you get what I'm saying John 539. Let's read this and we finish search the scriptures for in them You think you have eternal life and they are they which testify of me red lettering who's speaking here? Wine is Jesus blood bread is Jesus body every single prophecy every single dream Jesus Christ. Amen What does the Bible mean by The sentence God is not a respecter of persons and can you expound on that please one more time? God is not a respecter of persons Will you expound on that? Yeah, so the context of that verse is when you when he's speaking to people, you know God has destroyed people. We've seen this Egyptians and things like that whenever he's destroyed people He's very symbolic and metaphoric. So when people were chasing the Egyptians, for example, we're chasing Moses to the Red Sea He allowed the sea to engulf the Egyptians right only after obviously Pharaoh's heart was hardened so what he's saying is people who are respectable people Who live according to their own standard? He cannot respect those people because if you live according to your standard, then you are not of God We are to we are called to mold to God's standard. You understand what I'm saying?

So if we live even in the prison politics, I know we it's all about respect But that respect is tainted because you know, as soon as you flip there's riots and all kinds of stuff happening, right? Likewise in California is the same. So our standard has a limit. It's very conditional What he's saying is if you think you're a respectable person, why are you respectable? Is it because of the blood of Jesus which anointed you and covered you then? Amen But a lot of people puffed up God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is my God those same people that were Respectable and didn't sin. What did they do to my Messiah your Messiah? They hung him on the cross and they killed him. You understand good people They're always the worst because they can't see and they don't need God God came for the ungodly like us Understand what I'm saying? You
