Why There's No Marriage in Heaven (Pastor Explains)

So I got two questions the first question is is that you know in Scripture it talks a lot about marriage and You know for us men, you know, we want to one day Staying in Scripture and everything, you know We want to one day be be molded into becoming you know better men of God and one day We want to you know provide and sure and and you know have a family and have a you know beautiful godly woman by our side So in Scripture if it talks about marriage so much, why is it that when we go to heaven? We are all Looked at as brothers and sisters and five marriages and even a thing, you know how many times we're at the Bible I've I be I'm reading it more, you know So the true marriage is between the bridegroom, which is Jesus and the church, which is us Understand when we get to heaven Your wife is, you know, the god is gonna prepare for you on earth is like a Tesla right beautiful right Porsche right, but Jesus is like the Lamborghini You understand what I'm saying when a Lamborghini pulls up to a Tesla I'm sorry to say the only focus on the Lambo you get what I'm saying? Likewise Jesus is married to us when we get to heaven It's not that we don't love them anymore But it's Jesus for crying out loud you know what I'm saying? So that's the concept of it essentially we are married to God That's what it means, but we have a helper here on earth, which is your girl, right? So God will obviously ordain that you don't have to look for that person because Adam didn't look for Eve makes sense God said it's not good for a man to be alone and then you put him in a deep sleep created Eve, right? So it's important to recognize that you don't have to go out and look for those things You don't even have to ponder those things God. I'm married to you, right? Because we're all Women actually in in the eyes of God. He is the man for example Adam and Eve, right?

Eve ate the apple, but if you look in the Bible, it says curse came through Adam. Do you know why because? Adam is the husband although Eve sinned the wife who took the blame for it technically Adam was blamed Likewise, we are the church. Although me and you sinned who took the blame? Yes, sure our husband Are you following me here? That's the depth of God his heart is so deep in this way where he wants you to recognize that you are Deep bride you are the bride and he is the the man who takes care of everything. Okay, amen So my second question was is that you know big struggle of mine recently Has been, you know, lusting with the eyes 100% So, you know when I started my walk that was a big thing for me I struggled with the point addiction with, you know, obviously masturbation, you know and addiction to sex 100% You know, and you know, I'm glad to say I've truly you know, I'm free from all of that now, you know but I've been trying to give it to the to the Lord recently and calling out to him and really getting into prayer and giving it to him and saying You know, why Lord? Do I still like man like it's I've been getting prayed over and people have been answering my questions My brothers in Christ, you know, I've been helping me out a lot But I'm always still dealing with it, you know, I'm still dealing with you know lusting with the eyes I'm still like man, let me go text this girl. Let me go text that girl, you know, um, so How do I really truly give it to the Lord and not fall into it? You want to know how to stop sinning completely? You got to die die understand It's impossible because you have the flesh makes sense Everybody has lust bro people deal with it women too, right? God that's why it's important to be in your word because the more you learn your word you're able to combat those things But you also have to understand. It's the same thing that draws you closer to God, too Paul said I have a thorn on my side. I went to you three times. You didn't remove it Understand why because that's what kept Paul close to God. Make sense It's why can't God get rid of all your sins? Of course he can snap of a finger remove it. Why doesn't he because you? Do you understand what I'm saying? You would be high-hearted like a Pharisee. Look at me, I'm better than you.

You still struggle with us? Understand, right? He makes it to where you mess up so that you have to seek Him. 'Cause we don't seek Him when we're good. Are you following me here? So you actually have to be like, Father God, I know you want me to seek you. By your grace and by your God, your will pray this prayer, right? Lord, if you feel like this is bad for me, please remove it. But if you don't, then please also allow me not to condemn myself. Rather conviction, allow that to follow me to follow you through this, God. God, you take care of it. That is seeking God and all things. A lot of people want their own will. God, remove this, remove this, remove this. Understand, He's not a magic eraser. Make sense? We have to treat God like God. What do you think about this? Do you see what I'm doing?
