I'm just like a bull in a china shop this morning Anyhow, the point that Megan is this it takes all of us and now even you in Department of Corrections wherever you're sitting at all 50 states Where wherever it might be all of us can row all of us can do something. You could share it with somebody I love hearing the encouragement from y'all fly ma'am. We're watching our pods watching or you know, whatever it might be my cell I just introduced him or her into What you're doing here like all that kind of stuff it's helping us row when you let family know like hey check this church out It's helping us Row everybody is one of the biggest things I need from you right now is what some content you want to see if you've been tracking along There's been some changes with the Department of Corrections and pando and all that kind of stuff and we are honoring to all of that We put more of that at the end of last episode, which is the drowning one What do you do if you feel like you're drowning I talked about that at the end of that I don't want to get into all that today and waste time if you don't know what I'm talking about. We're gonna get it out there Hopefully this episode but today we're continuing to talk about Questions man when you really sit to think about it so much of life is wrapped up in Questions we're asking things. We're answering things. We're pondering things We're wondering why was it said like this or did I give the right answer here? And then even Jesus himself man, he gave questions now Here's the thing we believe he's the answer to the question of all of our hearts, right? Like we believe that to our core that he is the answer to broken humanity

He is the answer to that thing in our hearts that that all of us have that's disconnected from God But we also believe we can bring our questions to Jesus like Lord I'm struggling with this or what should I do about this? And then what we've been looking at these last few episodes and for the next few is the questions that Jesus asked us That's what we're going into next episode coming up next week. Do something a little bit special a little bit different I'm excited for you to see I've been filming about it all week. It's actually really, really good. All right. Talk about questions that Jesus asked questions that Jesus asked all of us. Now here's, here's the thing. Sometimes people can ask questions because it's just, man, it's conversation. It's just how you communicate with one another. Sometimes people ask questions because they're genuinely curious. Like, how do you feel about this? Or how do you feel about that? Uh, and for me, like even the question for all of y'all, like, Hey, what do you want to see? It's just a thing of like, Hey, let's do this together.

We're all part of this church together. What do you want to see? What do you want to hear talked about? Like those kinds of things. But then sometimes we know this questions can be asked that feel like a trap, right? Like, um, let's just talk honest. Uh, let's say you're getting questioned by an officer or somebody like that, or detective or something like that. Well, or a supervisor in, in wherever you are. Sometimes when you hear those questions, you're afraid to answer because how I answer is going to dictate so much of life. And if I answered this wrong, then what, if I answered this, right, what does that mean for other people? And what does this mean for me? And I want to say this, the questions Jesus asks, he's not a part. Jesus is not a part of the heaven on earth police department. Okay. He's not a part of, of, of the heaven on earth department of corrections. All right. Where he's trying to maybe to get one over on you or, and I'm not saying officers do that. So please hear my heart, but he's not doing this with like punishment in mind or freedom in mind. He's in, he's asking us questions to reveal things in us to show us, man, this is what I'm really feeling, or this is what I'm really trusting in. Like every question actually reveals so much about the kingdom we're living for the gospel. We believe in the savior. We feel like it's going to fix it all. I've said this last episode. I want to say this again. Everyone, you know, has a kingdom they're living for. Most people are living for their own kingdom, right? But there could be other ones. Like everyone has a kingdom they're living for. Everyone has a gospel, the good news that they believe. And then everyone has a savior as well. Like they feel like this is the fix to everything. And it could be a million different things as a Christian, as a follower of Christ, the kingdom we live for is a kingdom of heaven. The gospel we believe is a good news of Jesus that he left heaven and came to earth for us when we did not deserve it. And we couldn't earn it, but he saw worth in all of us and did not want to spend eternity without us. And so he left heaven, came to earth, died in our place, and he is our savior. So we have a kingdom, we have a gospel, and we have a savior. And all of that, Jesus asked questions to just draw us into a deeper union and relationship with him. So we live for his kingdom. We live through the gospel and we know that it's only by him that we are saved. Now today we're going to Luke chapter 24. Luke chapter 24. I just hope I got that, I don't know if I got that across right, that Jesus is not trying to trap or condemn. He's asking questions to show us our faith, our trust. It's just a way to kind of reveal things to us so we can grow

deeper in a union with him. I should have just said it like that, that's on me. Anyhow, Luke chapter 24. Now if you don't have a Bible, at the bottom of the Pando app is like, I think it's like the home screen. There's a Bible and a search saying, click the Bible there. I'm going to actually give you some incredibly practical. cool how to read your Bible tips in just a minute at the end of this teaching and if you don't know how it goes with the teachings we do a little housekeeping or I did that and then I'm gonna teach and then we kind of show those videos that you're looking for and all that kind of stuff and then I'll kind of close it out at the very very end Luke chapter 24 are you ready work this is resurrection Sunday that we're jumping into okay this is the day Jesus rose from the dead that's already happened this would have been in the afternoon leading into the evening all right that same day two of Jesus's followers were walking to the village of Emmaus seven miles from Jerusalem as they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened as they talked and discussed these things Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them but God kept them from recognizing him and he asked them what are you discussing so intently as you walk along this is the verse I wanted to notice what are you discussing this is his question so intently as you walk along they stopped short with sadness written on their faces and then one of them Cleopas replied you must be the only person in Jerusalem who hasn't heard about all the things that have happened there the last few days what things Jesus asked the things that happened to Jesus a man of Nazareth they said he was a mighty prophet who did powerful miracles and he was a mighty teacher in the eyes of God and all the people but our leading priest and other religious leaders handed him over to be condemned to death and they crucified him notice this next part we had hoped he was the Messiah meaning Savior the one sent by God who had come to rescue Israel and that all happened three days ago I just want to say this really quick if you've ever put your hope in God and it didn't turn out like you wanted it doesn't mean you're away from him it doesn't mean you're separated from him it doesn't mean that he's not drawing near to you

these guys are in massive significant letdown they have feel incredibly disappointed from God and what does Jesus do he shows up to them and this is not the sermon but I want to give this to you in case this is what you need to hear maybe you found this video today because this is what you need to hear and here it is you ready oftentimes what we hope for it's it might not work it might not happen you like man I really felt like going into this hearing that the judge was gonna see this and help me out and show me favor and it didn't happen maybe you thought you know what maybe I actually will hear from my family this month maybe they actually will send something where where I can buy a few things around here to make life just a little bit easier maybe you're like you know what I thought that that I would be moved by now or accepted by this program by now and I prayed and I asked God but it hasn't happened I I feel like no one is responding to anything I'm doing I had hoped that this would be better that God would get involved and when things don't happen it is so easy it is so easy to feel like that God is distant from you this verse shows otherwise he actually meets you in the disappointment I don't believe he caused the disappointment because they actually are just seeing the moment wrong and and and they don't have the right perspective maybe I should say like that but Jesus shows up and maybe that's what you need to hear Jesus will still show up in your disappointment that's how good he is now you don't have to do everything perfect and be mr. like oh I'm mr. I'm so fresh it's so clean clean like you know what I'm saying like you don't have to be all that you just have to know that he is never going to leave you never forsake you and just keep your heart engaged to him I also love that it says they didn't recognize him how many times have we walked with God I know I've done this and maybe you've done this as well you have walked with God and didn't even recognize God was walking with you that whole time but he was we don't try to get and earn our way to God he came to us we just accept what he did and maybe you've never accepted Christ and today's the day to do that man today's the day to do that maybe you need to hear like yeah you're walking through

disappointment you're walking through hurt you don't feel like God's been around but this is you found this video that's not even on this topic to tell you listen ma'am he's right there with you he's right there with you the question is can you notice him in it all right let's get back to the to the scripture Luke 24 then Jesus said to them you foolish people you find it so hard to believe all the prophets wrote in the scriptures wasn't it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering into his glory then Jesus notices took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets explaining from all the scriptures the things concerning himself they said to each other didn't our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the scriptures to us a lot is happening here and a lot more is going to happen later in this story we're not going to get into that I just want to focus on the one question that Jesus asked, what are you talking about? What are you talking about? See, to me, that question almost feels like too ordinary, too common, because like in a couple episodes ago, we talked about what do you actually want with blind Bartimaeus? Like that one's a little bit, a little easier to notice. Like there's a blind man running to you, Jesus. Like, first of all, danger. Hello, that doesn't sound OSHA approved. That does not sound safe, a blind man, and I'm not trying to be funny or make fun. I'm just saying like a blind man running sounds dangerous. And he shows up to Jesus and Jesus says, what do you want? Well, I think it's pretty obvious, but it's a good question because Jesus knows he needs sight,

but oftentimes he wants us to use our voice and to believe in him is so much that we could say it out of our mouth. Have you ever had something where you're like, man, I've felt this in my heart, but I've never said it out of my mouth. Jesus is like, listen, I want you to connect on a level where you can speak what you actually want. If you missed that episode, it's a couple episodes back in the archives, you can go check it out there. And then last week we looked at the two questions Jesus gives in storms. Why are you afraid and why did you doubt? The afraid deals with the care because it says, master, do you even care that we're about to drown? And then he goes, why did you have so little faith? Why are you afraid? It means this, Jesus asks that question because he wants them to notice they're doubting his care. And then with the doubt side of it, or I'm sorry, let me say it like this. They have fear because they think he doesn't care. I should have said it like that. And then the other one is why did you doubt? He says that to Peter when he's walking on water because you got to remember Peter climbs over the boat and walks on water because Jesus gave him a word. Jesus said to him, listen, come out of the boat then. And it's the same with us that he's asking the question because have we stood on the word of God

or are we doubting what he said is true for us? Saying all that to say, those questions make sense. But Jesus is asking here, what are you talking about? What are you talking about? It's just too common. It seems too ordinary. But here's what I know, nothing in scripture, especially let me say the New Testament, nothing in the New Testament is just random. Let me go even a little bit more granular. Nothing in the gospels is just random facts. All of them are to be paid attention to, right? So this is not just a common thing. This is not just simple, especially for it to be the words of Jesus and a question of him. This is recorded for a moment. Now, how can we connect? I want you to think about this. It is on resurrection Sunday that this is happening. There are two disciples on a road together. We are post-resurrection as well in the same way they were. We are all on a road to life, whether you are in Alaska or Maine or Arkansas or Texas or Florida, where I am at in Northeast Florida, wherever you are at. I know we have Champion Family literally in all 50 states. So wherever you are, we're on a road of life. Whether you're sitting in death row in Texas, what's up to you guys?

Like, it doesn't matter. We're all on a journey and we're never meant to do it alone because it says there were two disciples on it. We're never meant to do a journey alone. And on that journey, post-resurrection, Jesus shows up and he asks this question. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? As I chewed on this this past week, why would Jesus ask this? Here's the line I wrote down. The direction of your conversations will quietly become the direction of your life. The direction of your, no, this is gonna be challenging. Let me just be honest with you, man. Like, you can watch all the clips later, but this stuff is gonna help you grow in life. Like, this is challenging. What are you talking about? Because the direction of your conversations will quietly become the direction of your life. These guys are walking back to Emmaus, disappointed and let down. That is the direction and it was written all over them. What does it say? Again, it says, and sadness was all over them. Sadness was written all over their face. So for us, we've gotta realize the direction of our conversation is going to directly impact who we are

in the direction of our lives. I wrote this down, our conversations. Think about the conversations you have every day. Our conversations are constantly revealing something. Our conversations are constantly, what you consistently talk about, we should probably pay attention to. They reveal what we believe, our conversations reveal what we believe, they reveal what we're focusing on, and they reveal where our heart is leaning in everyday life. Now, I knew there was quite a few scriptures, or a handful, maybe I should say that, of scriptures about your words. And as I went to look at them, I found three heavy-hitting kind of things of this question of Jesus. And as much as I wanted to be like, hmm, I kind of don't want to deal with this because I'm not good at this. Like, let me just be honest with you, I'm not good at this. When I was reading these scriptures this week, I literally, there was moments where I was like, I got some purple drink everywhere. There were some moments where I was like, Lord, I'm going to have to repent before I bring this to your people. And just please know this too, in case you're new with this here at Champion, I do not think I have it. Listen, I know I don't have it all together. I've got issues and problems just like everybody else, and I'm just walking with Jesus just like all of you are, right? Like, no, I'm not incarcerated, but I'm still walking with Jesus just like all of you are, and I never, ever, ever bring these words. I know there's some teaching out there, and I'm going to be careful because I don't want to throw stones. There's some teaching out there that the guys, I'm just going to talk about the guys specifically, are so adamant, and they're walking around like pointing and doing, and that's cool, man. Like, that's great. I'm not throwing stones at any of them. I'm just saying you're not going to get that from me. I'm over here like, hey, I struggle with this too. Hey, my conversation sucks sometimes. Hey, I'd be a little ashamed if I had a microphone on me on the conversations I have. Yeah, I shouldn't maybe laugh at that, or I shouldn't say that, or I shouldn't pop off. Or maybe you're like, well, I'm completely isolated. I'm not having a conversation with anyone.

Even the conversations I have with myself that no one else even knows about except me and God. The conversations I have with myself, I'm not proud of a lot of times. And Jesus says, what are you talking about? What are you talking about? And so even this week going through, I was like, whoo, this stuff is convicting, man. But it matters because the direction of our conversations will determine the direction of our life. The direction of our conversations determine the direction of our life. I wish it wasn't that way, but it is true because words are powerful. Three points I want to give you, and I'm going to show you some stuff in studying the word. Number one is this. What we speak, what we consistently speak, carries weight. Let me say this because I feel bad about what I said about the preachers just then. It's just not my style to, oh, I want to be careful here because I don't know any of these guys. Someone asked me the other day, do I watch other content on Pando? I really don't. Not because I don't want to. I just don't have time. But almost all of those big pastors and stuff, obviously I know who they are. You know what I'm saying? So I know clips. I see clips on social media. I'm just never going to be that guy running around a stage pointing and saying things. So like murder effect. So this, this is how it is. Like, that's just not me because I'm like, hey, I suck at life often. Okay. And I just want to be closer to Jesus. That's it. That's it. And if someone was yelling at me, I'm just not going to take it.

Well, I shouldn't have said all of that, but I wanted to make that right. And I'm not going to clip it out. Frig it. We'll keep it in and let it fly. Bang. Bang. As who was that wrestler? What was that wrestler? Cactus Jack would say anyhow. Okay. What we speak carries weight. What we speak carries weight. Like right there. Me saying stupid stuff about other people. I don't know. It carries weight. All right. Should have kept my freaking mouth shut. Exhibit A that I've got issues. Colossians chapter four verses five and six. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders. Make the most of every opportunity guys and ladies, ladies and jets. You can live this right here, wherever you're at, wherever you're incarcerated at, whatever block you're on, whatever camp you're on. You can live like, how can I live the gospel out? Right here, right here, baby boy and baby girl. Be wise in the way you act towards others. Make the most of every opportunity toward outsiders. So even if people are outside your group, man, or outside the family of faith, man, he says, be wise in this.

All right. Let your conversation. Watch this. Be always full of grace, seasoned with salt so that you may know how to answer everyone. Now, I do believe that's with words, but I think when people are always looking for what they're missing and maybe just maybe you are carrying a light that can answer the ache in somebody else's heart. Like that's how significant this is. Just because you're sitting in a jail cell or in a camp or whatever it might be on a block. Maybe you're an Ag Seg, whatever it is, you're in CM, wherever you're on death row. It doesn't matter wherever you are. You can carry the light of Christ. You can be that. Salt and light, that city set on a hill, and what you are carrying in your life is the answer to what is aching and empty in someone else. Not because we're great, but because Jesus is. That's the significance of what we can do. So many times I hear from y'all, what can I do as I'm sitting behind bars? What can I do as I'm behind this fence? What you can do is let your conversations be seasoned with salt, as it just said. What you are carrying in the Holy Spirit of God is answering what other people are looking for. That's what we need, man. That's how you row. You talk about us rowing? That's the way you row, right there. All right. Proverbs 18, a man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth, from the produce of his lips, he shall be filled.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Pay attention here, ladies and gents. And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 25, 11, a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. I don't even know what that means, but it sounds delicious. It sounds so good. Okay. Let's talk about this for just a minute. Words carry weight. You probably experienced this more than you know. Maybe somebody's encouraged you and it just, man, it lit something inside of you. Maybe somebody looked at you and said, listen, your story's not over. Somebody looked at you and said, yeah, you screwed up. There's nothing you can do about that now, except live from right here and on. And it brought a freedom to you. Maybe somebody looked at you and said, listen, you're not the piece of crap that someone has called you your entire life. You actually have worth and you have people that carry you like nobody cares. Well, listen, you just found a random dude that can't get his frigging hat to sit right. Lord, God in heaven. That's drinking some of that, that grape ice. And you found this randomly or somebody told you about it. And I'll say, I'll look that in you. Now I can't do shout outs anymore, so I can't say your name, but I'm gonna look you in the camera and say, listen, you matter, man. You matter. Indian River County Jail. You matter. Come on. Charlotte County Jail.

You matter. Men of the Forge. You matter. Ag Seg units. You matter. Those H1 pods. You matter. I see you. And I wouldn't. Here's what. Here's you're like, no, no, no. I wouldn't do this if I didn't. That's how much God wants you to know that you matter. Chances are, though, you have experienced on the other end, the pain of words that somebody called you a POS your whole life. Somebody told you you won't amount to nothing. You'll be just like your dad or just like your brother, your uncle, whoever. Somebody told you the only thing you're worth is what somebody, what someone will pay you to do something to them. And let me tell you something. You feel those words and they can carry weight. I remember that old saying as a kid, stick it, sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Poo. Woo. Liar, liar, pants on frigging fire. Words carry weight. And that's why we got to be careful with them and how we throw them out and how we give them and to use them in a way that is God honoring, that it's seasoned with salt and where people see Jesus through the way we encourage them.

Not fake, man. I'm not talking about fake encouragement stuff. I'm talking about real deal Holyfield stuff where we see things in people. Everybody else sees dirt, but you see the treasure within them. Everybody else sees what's thrown away, but you see that God can bring beauty from ashes. They think their whole entire life is wasted, but you see nothing is wasted. We talked about that a lot in the last episode and you just give an encouraging word that is like a golden apples in a setting of silver. I wrote this down. Words don't just describe reality. They help to shape and reinforce it. Words don't just describe it. They help shape and reinforce it. Now here's the next thing. What we constantly consistently talk about directs where we are going. We consistently talk about directs where we are going. James chapter three says this, we all fail in many areas, but especially with our words. Yet if we are able to bridle the words, we say we are powerful enough to control ourselves in every way. And that means our character is mature and fully developed. All right. So that's encouraging. That's where a mature Christian would be. Horses have bits and bridles in their mouths so that they can control and guide their large body. In the same way, mighty ships, though they are massive and driven by fierce winds, yet they are steered by a tiny rudder at the direction of the person at the helm. And so the tongue is a small part of the body, yet it carries great power. Just think of how a small flame can set a huge forest ablaze. Now go to Jesus's words in Matthew chapter 12.

For what has been. Stored up in your hearts will be heard in the overflow of your words. Some translations will say from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. When virtue is stored within the hearts of good, upright people will produce good fruit. But when evil is hidden within, those who are evil will produce evil fruit. You can be sure of this. When the day of judgment comes, everyone will be held accountable for every careless word he has spoken. Now think about this. What is constantly coming out of your, your, your mouth is coming out of the abundance of the heart. It's deep within you. So it's probably good to pay attention. Now this is not in a condemning way. Remember, Jesus isn't trapping us. This is us to look at it like, dang, like I'm constantly talking about this. I'm constantly talking about that. So what do you do with that? I don't want to just be like, well, stop. No, you go and you start following the thread. What is this connected to? What is this rooted in? It could be an event that happened. It could be a day that happened. It could be something that you walked through for years of your life. It could be insecurities. That's one of my biggest ones like that kind of stuff. It could be all of these things follow the root of what it is. And then once you see it, well, this is where it's rooted at. Now you can take that to God.

That's what you pray about. God, I'm dealing with this thing from this moment and it's bothering me and all I can do is talk about it. All I can do is, is, is just overly pro I'm an outward processor and I'll talk something to death. But what we need to do is go back to the root of it and then Lord bring it to God. Help me with this. I'm trusting you in this situation. I want to heal from this. I need forgiveness from this. I don't want to constantly hear those words in my head all the time. Follow the root. Whatever you're constantly talking about. It is rooted somewhere in your heart. Follow the thread, find the root and bring it to God. I wrote this down as simple as I can put it. Our conversations don't just reflect direction, they reinforce it. If you don't follow the root and deal with it with God, not you deal with it by yourself, but you bring it to the Lord in faith and trust and healing or whatever it might be. Listen, it won't just reflect direction. It'll reinforce direction. Here's the third one. We are accountable for what we casually say. We are accountable for what we casually say. Ephesians chapter four, verse 29. This one convicts the fire out of me. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And then the words of Jesus again, you can be sure of this. When the day of judgment comes, everyone will be held accountable for every careless word

that has been spoken. Now here's the thing, here's the thing. When I wrote that down, I was like, man, I've spoken a lot of careless words. It doesn't mean that that's not the unforgivable sin. So if you've spoken careless words, just repent like Jesus. I asked for forgiveness for that. Like I shouldn't have said that shouldn't have been in that conversation. Shouldn't have made those remarks. Shouldn't have said those things about the other preachers on the Pando app. Sorry, Jesus legitimately like, Lord, I'm just asking for forgiveness. That's not who I want to be. That's not who you made me to be. And I don't want to be held accountable for something that I'm not willing to ask for forgiveness for. Jesus, I just ask you for forgiveness in this. And that's the amazing thing with God is he offers forgiveness. First John one nine, man, go read it yourself. If we are faithful to confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins in the same way here. If you've been speaking careless words, just ask for forgiveness. If you've heard other people and there's the opportunity to ask for forgiveness for them, ask for forgiveness from them as well, whether they give it or not, you are doing the right thing by asking. Maybe you've said some things to family members or loved ones or whatever that were, you were hurting and you know, the old saying hurt people, hurt people and, and, and you hurt them in a way. And again, doesn't mean they're going to accept it. Doesn't mean they're going to be like, Oh, okay, whatever. But you are doing the right thing when you say, Hey, I was wrong in that and I shouldn't have said that.

Will you please forgive me? Jesus says, what are y'all talking about? What are you talking about now? If I stopped the sermon, the message right here, I would do you an incredible injustice because I would be like, well, by God, go out there and quit having crappy conversations. Go out there and quit talking that, you know, I'm trying to be good. I'm trying to be good. Like quit it. Like don't, but listen, you'll only be able to white knuckle it for so long. There has to be another way. Well, what did Jesus do? Jesus rebukes the guys first. He says, listen, you foolish people are, you're missing it. We've already kind of had that through. This is a little bit of a rebuke, like, Hey, we shouldn't just be saying whatever. Our conversations matter. Our conversations are revealing the direction of our life. So the direction of our conversations will become the direction of our life. What was constantly coming out of the mouth is life or death, and we will eat the fruit of it. We've already kind of talked about that. So let's move to what Jesus did next. He walked them through scripture. So what is the answer? to better conversations is being close to Jesus. Now that's very cliche, because I've heard my whole life, just be close to Jesus, and you're like, friggin' how? Like do I just go by a Jesus statue?

Do I go to a, what's those places called where all the dead people are buried? Come on Traff, think, think, think, think, think, think. Not a funeral home. I guess there's dead people there too. Cemetery, good Lord. Do I go to a cemetery and just hold a stone Jesus? Just hold a stone Jesus? No, no, no. What do I do? You get close in scripture. Because John one would say that Jesus was a word that was made flesh. Jesus walks them through scripture. So the key, the secret to success of healthy conversations is not to try harder, it is to just get closer to him in scripture. Now, some of you, you might read a whole book a day, or a chapter a day, or whatever. The amount isn't what's necessary. It's the closeness to him. It's drawing near to him. Now, remember it says that Jesus walked them through from Moses to the prophets. Why? Because all scripture points to Jesus. All of it points to Jesus. Jesus would tell the Pharisees in John five, listen, you're looking in the scriptures for eternal life,

they're pointing to me. So the point is, if you're reading scriptures, but you're missing Jesus, you're not gonna find the life you think it's gonna be. That's why people are like, well, I tried reading the Bible and nothing happened. You're trying to read the Bible for facts, or to prove something wrong, and you miss that it's all pointing to Jesus. The Bible is not a history book, it is all pointing to Jesus. It's all about him. That's what it's all about. So that we can have this relationship with him. So when you go to scripture, because we should be reading scripture every single day, I'll give you a little pro tip. Matthew four, four says that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. You can't live without the word of God. Your spirit can't be alive without the word of God is what it's saying. I believe this, as much as we need natural food, we need spiritual food. So if you've never drawn close to Jesus through scripture, and you're like, well, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Think of it like this, every time you eat, eat spiritually as well. I'm not saying necessarily right when you're eating,

but if you're eating three times a day, or whatever it might be, hey, three times a day, I'm gonna consume scripture. I'm gonna read something. I'm gonna go on Pando and watch Trevor again. I don't know, I'm just saying some random stuff here. Something to feed your soul from scripture. There is no substitute to the Bible in a Christian's life. It is the foundation that everything else is built on. Now, give you a few things when you're reading this, okay? Let me pull this up. When you read it, I'm gonna just read this off my notes for a second time. When you're reading scripture, ask this, where is Jesus in this? Where is he revealing his nature, his heart, his way of doing things? You don't wanna miss a minute. Where is Jesus in this? Another one is, what does this show me about who Jesus is? If I'm reading a passage, what does this show me about who Jesus is? How he responds to people, how godly people handle pressure, or how he treats the broken and the overlooked. And then we emulate that, right? Like that's what a disciple does. The disciple does what the rabbi does. We emulate what we see of how he is. The next one is, what part of my life

is this inviting him into? It's one thing to see forgiveness in scripture. It's another thing to walk in it. It's another thing to say, Lord, I'm believing. I see you forgave this moment, whatever it might be. I'm believing you will forgive me in this moment as well. Don't let it just be on the page or on an app. Let it become real in your life, okay? Here's the next thing. What have I been settling for something, or where, excuse me, have I been settling for something less than Jesus? All through scripture, people make substitutes for Jesus. And we do the same thing, y'all. We do the same thing. It could be through numbing ourselves. It could be through distraction. It could be through trying to find connection in something that's incredibly unhealthy. I don't know, there's a thousand different things, but it's the same in scripture. You would see it. They wanted kings instead of God. They wanted control instead of trust. They wanted tradition instead of relationship. And here's the last one. What does it look like for me to walk with Jesus in this today? Whatever you're reading, what does it look like for me to walk in this?

And I'm like, if this isn't confirmation for me right now, what I'm about to preach to these ladies and gents in pando land, like, man, this is exactly what I'm talking about. When you get the word in your heart, it can't help but to come out of your mouth, and death and life are in the power of the tongue. Now everything is seasoned with salt. Now what you're carrying is the answer for other people. And you're not just wasting days away sitting behind a fence. You have purpose there to champion even this season. And what are you doing? You're rowing the boat, man. You're rowing the boat where more and more people can grow in a deeper relationship, a deeper union with Jesus. Music Music close calls. However, because the Hooties know that as soon as they fire, the U.S. is going to eat them like a Nikocado Avocado Mukbang, so they have to displace. This usually means rolling the launchers out of hidden caves, tunnels, or valleys, firing, and just as soon as the missile leaves the rails, tucking it away. This is where the A-10 comes in to put a stop to this. The first confirmed strike came on April 1st. After taking off from their airbase, the Warthogs were on station within 18 minutes. Thanks to its 11,000 pound fuel tank capacity, the A-10s can loiter over target areas for up to 90 minutes before having to head back to base. However, when accompanied by KC-135 tankers, these pigs can stay airborne as long as they have ammunition on board. And oh boy, does this thing have a pretty mean business end. See that barrel sticking out of the nose? That's the GAU-8A Avenger Rotary Cannon that stretches nearly 19 feet along the belly of the aircraft and pokes out through the nose. It fires 30 millimeter armor-piercing shells at 3,900 rounds per minute. Each round is almost half a pound and tipped with depleted uranium. With this capability, it can shred tanks in a matter of seconds. And against soft-skinned vehicles or exposed personnel that make up hoodie launcher teams, well, the results speak for themselves. On that day, a circling RC-135 rivet joint intercepted hoodie radio signals that they were going to launch a strike soon. Because the U.S. had destroyed practically every secure communications method the hoodies had, enemy commanders in the field have to rely on regular civilian cell phones to talk to each other, which makes finding these guys that much easier. The attack was supposed to go down in less than 20 minutes, so the two A-10s punched it at full power to get there. With a max speed of about 420 miles per hour, it would take roughly 18 minutes to get there, with not a second to spare. As the A-10s flew across the mountains and desert of central Yemen, the pilots are using this device to scan for the targets. This is called the AN-AAQ-28 Lightning Pod and is how the pilot ensures that the A-10's payloads make it on target. Located here on a pylon at either station 2 or 10, depending on pilot preference, the pod measures 87 inches long and is 16 inches in diameter. Inside this roughly 440 pound pod are a series of high-resolution forward-looking infrared sensors, laser designators, and CCTV cameras. The pilots can spot man-sized targets up to 28 miles away. But for this fight, the A-10s were going to get up close and personal. As the pilots neared their time on top, they could see the hoodies blissfully unaware as they rolled their fully loaded launcher

out of a cave. With no enemy radars up due to US forces knocking them out in prior strikes, the A-10s came in low and slow. At a distance of 6,500 meters away, they let loose with their cannons and gave them the burr the aircraft is so famous for. Although each aircraft carries roughly 1,150 30 millimeter rounds inside an internal drum magazine, the pilots typically limit their bursts to one to two seconds to conserve ammo and prevent overheating. But in those two seconds, the A-10s fired about 260 baseball-sized rounds, each going at 3,500 feet per second. As one can probably guess, the launcher was neutralized. But this was just the opening act of a very dangerous play by the US Air Force. On April 2nd, an ISR satellite detected unusual heat signatures northeast of Saada. Since very few people in Yemen own a car, much less a five-ton truck, intelligence flagged it as a probable mobile launcher and passed it along to the Air Force for a closer look. But there was a problem. Although the A-10 is a very capable aircraft, it is much slower and flies much lower than traditional fighters to engage with its 30 millimeter cannon. Because of this, the Warthog is much more susceptible to ground fire. Because of this, a 1,200 pound titanium bathtub surrounds the pilot. These armored bubbles can easily eat 23 millimeter rounds and sometimes higher, as seen in the Gulf War and conflict in Iraq. But the A-10 is not impervious to all ground fire. With the Hooties now fully aware the A-10s were in theater, the call went out far and wide, and soon every Hootie radar left was scanning the skies, looking for an easy victory. Thankfully, these aircraft were not going to let them. These planes are called EA-18G Growlers. If you think they look like F-18s, that's because they kind of are. Built on the same body, these aircraft are specially modified with sensors and weapons specially designed for a mission called Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses, or SEAD. Think of SEAD like this. Would you rather go into a fight with a really big guy and have a 50-50 shot of not getting whooped, or would you rather poke the guy? in both eyeballs first, and then hit them. That's essentially what SEED is, since the Growler's main mission is taking out Hooty radars with systems like this. This system here on this Growler is called the Next Generation Jammer, and here's how it helps clear the skies for the incoming A-10s. As Hooty gunners turn on their radars, they send out a particular frequency. Since the Next Gen Jammers in service operate in the mid-band of frequencies, around the 2-6GHz range, any radar pulsing in that range can get picked up. This is because the US maintains a mission library of every adversary search, surface, fire control, and missile radar in the world.

When the system picks up these signals, it automatically knows what kind of system it is, and uses basic geometry to figure out where the enemy radar is located. The pilot then sends out a continuous burst of about 270kW of power towards the Hooty radar. Because radars know the time when every radar wave is sent out and know what time it arrives, the radar uses that data to help figure out the position. However, when blasted with such a strong energy pulse, the radar can't see any of its own emissions, because this jammer is just overloading the system with a continuous stream of energy. Although some modern radars are jam-resistant, most Hooty ones are based on legacy Soviet or Iranian models that get fried. Think of it kind of like plugging in an appliance into the wall that sucks up too much energy and damages the outlet. It's the same principle here. Within 15 minutes, the Growlers from the USS Eisenhower had knocked out three Hooty radar installations. Now blinded, the A-10s were given the all-clear to begin their run. Using their lightning targeting pods, they picked up movement. Three launchers, including one where the Hooties were putting a camouflage tarp on to hide it again. The lead pilot fired a laser-guided AGM-65 Maverick from 26 miles away to prevent them from getting away. With its 125-pound shaped charge, the Maverick struck the first launcher's center mass. The secondary detonation from the missile on board was huge. Shrapnel tore through the other two nearby launchers and knocked fist- sized holes into them. Their teams attempted to flee in a Toyota pickup, but they didn't make it far. The trailing Warthog rolled in low. At just under 250 knots, the pilot squeezed a trigger. A half-second burst of the GAU-8 sent 50 rounds slamming into the truck and neutralized four more operators. By April 10th, Hooty activity had visibly shifted. Launch points previously active went cold. According to signals collection efforts, communications between field commanders and their Iranian handlers took on a more defensive tone. IRGC advisors reportedly relocated to Ceylon and began hiding deeper underground. Instead of cell phones, they set up more redundant antenna relays and buried fiber-optic cable. But there was no hiding from a combat aircraft that can hunt with heat. Thanks to the A-10's lightning pod, the Warthog isn't reliant on satellite data alone. Once a general grid has been identified as potentially hostile, the pilot can patrol visually, waiting for movement, and track vehicle exhaust or heat seeping through underground bunkers. In fact, the pod is so refined, its sensors can even differentiate between idling engines and decoys meant to throw it off. Add in some drone overwatch, and each A-10 becomes the airborne apex predator. The Hooties knew this, but they underestimated how long a Warthog is

willing to wait. One crew made that mistake on April 13th. Operating out of Jaff Province, they wheeled out a launcher pre-loaded with the C-802, set up near an irrigation berm, and awaited GPS lock from their Iranian handlers. Unfortunately for them, a U.S. drone had spotted the movement 40 minutes earlier. A Warthog was already on station and soon inbound. At 3,000 feet, flying just over the mountaintops, the pilot waited just until he reached the Maverick's ideal release range of around seven nautical miles. With the ability to carry six of these missiles, with three under each wing, the pilot let loose with two of them to neutralize the launcher and its accompanying radar. Upon seeing the Warthog, the Hootie gunners abandoned their launchers and tried to run, but the last thing they heard was a burn, and it was all over. But believe it or not, the A-10 didn't even have to engage directly in many cases to neutralize Hootie launchers. Here's how it did it. Because sometimes the Hooties hide their launchers in crowded population centers, the U.S. needs a way to neutralize the launchers without causing civilian casualties. This often proves impossible in highly built-up urban areas. That is why the A-10s will use this maneuver called a show of force. When an A-10 pilot conducts a show of force, they are basically putting on their best poker face for the enemy. It works like this. Back at base, the ground crews will load down the A-10 to the max. Six Mavericks, a full drum of 30 millimeter ammo, targeting pod, everything it needs to do its work. When the A-10s are on station performing their combat air patrols... If they get called to an area where the Hooties are firing around a lot of people, the A-10s will first swoop in and act like they're going to attack. Of course, the Hooties aren't going to stick around and ask to make sure. After they and anyone else around them run away for cover, the A-10s can either come in for another pass themselves or call it in to other air assists. And though these tactics may seem unorthodox, by mid-April, the data clearly showed they were working. Hootie missile activity had dropped by nearly 70% compared to the start of the month. Navy ships in the Red Sea reported fewer radar locks, and some tankers even resumed passage without a naval escort, for the first time in two months. It was a quiet victory. No headlines, but one that mattered. Strategically, the A-10's success has reignited debates over close air support. While the Air Force still plans to retire the fleet by 2029,

Marine and Navy commanders have petitioned for extended deployment rotations. This is because the numbers speak for themselves. From April 2nd through April 17th, the A-10s flew 218 sorties without a single U.S. loss. According to CENTCOM, 47 confirmed missile systems have been knocked out, along with 9 senior Hootie commanders neutralized. Because of this, the A-10 has proven itself a valuable asset in what many have considered a Navy-centric fight. And while debate still swirls on the A-10's future, for Hooties in the field, the only question they ask when they see an A-10 is if it's just passing by or lining up a shot. Big fish. Big fish. Look at these two rhinos that are now currently fighting with each other and all revved up because we're in their zone. Look at these guys having a spar right here, having a fight. Beautiful 5,000 pound, 30 mile per hour Indian greater one horned rhino. Now, they're typically not an aggressive animal, but when conflict happens, these guys stray out of their natural wetlands and into human areas. They get startled and they run right through or into someone, absolutely flattening them with that big facial horn, that body armor, and of course trampling them to death. So, that was a very exciting way to start our top 10 countdown of India's deadliest animals. Let's go meet number 9. Look at that beautiful creature. So, coming in at number 9 is the small and shy Indian wolf. This is by far the closest I have ever been. And while they're really close, don't be fooled, they can move at 50 miles per hour, so they can be here in an absolute split second. These relatively shy guys do have an amazing bite force, incredible strength, stamina, and speed like all wolves. Typically, these guys don't really kill much, but recently in the plains area of India where they live, there's been an uptick in attacks, accounting for up to 10 human deaths in a six month span. So, that's why these guys come in at number 9. Just wait until you see number 8. Let's go. Now, we're stepping into the realm of a true apex predator. Most people don't even know still exists in India coming in and number eight is this Magnificent massive pod Asiatic lions a lot of people don't realize that lions are native to India now Sadly, their habitat has been diminished down to nearly nothing and they only live in one area. Look as I turn my back They only live in one area of India in a place called gear and Ventara is working with the Gujarat Forest Department on conserving that Population and one day in the future breeding for reintroduction efforts to save this species in the wild Now one thing you may notice about Indian Asiatic lions is they look quite different to their African counterparts now Look at his mane. It's nothing like the big and bold mane of the African line

It's much more sleek and that's because it's more of a forest cat as beautiful as they are They do kill and attack people now the attacks usually happen when people are sleeping with their livestock Or when these lions actually roam into the city of gear recently There was a very famous instance where a man was sleeping on a street and a lion came up and sniffed him and didn't even Kill him, but they have killed people. In fact, they're responsible for five human deaths per year They are an unbelievably cool animal, but they're not really one that needs to be feared They're one that needs to be respected and their habitat needs to be conserved These guys make it in at number eight on our list and the kills are about to really jump when we go see number seven But not every deadly animal hunts people for food some attack out of pure survival instinct and the next animal on the list is one of the most aggressive Defenders in the entire world coming in at number seven of India's deadliest animals this incredible creature right here The sloth bear sloth bears may seem cute and cuddly with their funny fluffy exterior But these guys are menacing any small bear that has to contend with a tiger to try and protect its baby from predation is Going to be an absolute badass and the sloth bear is the definition of it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog because these guys will only get up to about six feet long and 320 pounds and India actually has a very interesting history with sloth bears You can see how food motivated they are how honey on the ground Brings them in with the smell and people learn this and a nomadic community called the calendar people Would go and tame these bears and habituate them so much so that they'd figure out a way to pin them down and use a hot metal poker to drive a hole through their nose and Put a ring in their nose and then put them on a chain so that they can make them dance How do you make a deadly sloth bear dance? well you put it over a burning pan literally a fire with a metal sheet where it would burn so that the bear held by a Chain would dance and perform and so even though people learned how to habituate and somewhat tame these animals Don't be fooled at 300 ish pounds running 30 miles an hour with three-inch claws and an 800 psi Bite force you better believe that these guys absolutely can and do shred people with their immense aggression and their incredible Athleticism now sloth bears are indeed one of India's deadliest predators But not because they're predating on people like some of the man-eaters that we'll meet in this video but because these guys during the flower season will go out into the forest to eat flowers and get nectar and

That's when they have their babies Along comes an unsuspecting villager out for a walk picking some flowers looking for some honey They run into it the sloth bear immediately goes into defensive mode to protect its baby Attack somebody uses those three-inch claws to literally rip them to pieces Just like they do when a tiger is trying to eat the baby and with somewhere between 10 and 20 deaths per year The sloth bear is no joke, but he's not even close to as mean as our next deadliest so far Every animal we've seen can charge you chase you or maul you to death and the next two animals on this list We'll definitely surprise you but the next killer doesn't need speed size or strength one mistake and it can be fatal Alright, so look at this guy right here coming in at number six on India's deadliest is the one and only Deadly Indian animal that Ventara does not actually have this is the Indian red scorpion right here Known as one of the deadliest scorpions in the entire world and one sting from this guy can cause severe respiratory and cardiovascular Issues so much so that it said that between eight and forty percent of stings left untreated Result in fatality now most of the deaths that come from these beautiful little scorpions Happen to children and elderly people that are not well equipped to handle the potent venom that these guys have in them But what's interesting is you'd think that stings from a scorpion may occur out in the wild. They're not They're primarily in areas kind of like this They'll crawl into somebody's shoe or a bed at night or something like that And before you know it BAM They zap you with this little stinger and you can see how bright and potent that little stinger is there right by the tip of my finger And one zap can result in that fatality. So because of that, these guys are responsible for tens of deaths per year. And that is why they end up in the number six spot as one of India's deadliest killers. Just wait until you see who comes in at number five. And from here on out, every animal on this list kills dozens, if not hundreds, of people per year. Oh, I don't know about this. Oh, God, I don't like this, Vishal.

What are you doing to me? Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, there we go. This is the mugger crocodile coming in at number five of India's most deadly animals. All crocodiles are scary, but these muggers are absolutely unbelievable apex predators of India. They've come from a crocodile farm where crazy decongestion took place because mugger crocodiles were being bred for reintroduction, but sadly, it didn't work out. So Ventara stepped in and rescued over 1,000 mugger crocodiles and built them this unbelievable facility here. But these guys are absolutely deadly. Here in India, conflict happens every day, whether it's somebody going down to the water's edge to get a drink, a fisherman trying to feed his family, or an unsuspecting swimmer. All that it takes is for somebody to get in the range of these unbelievable 16-foot-long, 600-pound crocodilians. And with that 2,500 PSI bite force, one snap is grabbing you, pulling you into the water, death rolling, and crunching your bones, just like that crocodile is right over there. And that's why with 30 to 40 confirmed deaths per year, the mugger crocodile comes in at number five of India's deadliest predators. Let's go see number four.

Here you go, big guy. Ready? Oh! Mugger crocodiles are terrifying, but are mostly contained to the waterways. If you thought it couldn't get any scarier, the next animal lives right next to people in cities, villages, and even backyards. And most victims never even see it coming. Get it. Boom! Look at that. Imagine being a human being walking through the bush at night when all of a sudden, a leopard comes out of the bushes like that and launches up and grabs you with their unbelievably powerful claws and teeth. Indian leopards are massively widespread. They occur throughout the entire country and continent and way into other parts of the world. And they're one of the most adaptable cats. In fact, these cats can be seen in downtown cities hunting boars and things like that. But they're a nocturnal cryptic cat that's an ambush predator. So what does that mean for an unsuspecting victim who happens to be walking through the woods at night? Well, sure enough, a cat comes along that wants to eat a person that's just the same size as the deer that they eat.

A leopard will run, launch, and grab them. And it's happened time and time again. In fact, there's a famous instance of a leopard called the man-eater of Rudapriya that killed 120 estimated people. One thing that Ventara does here that's so cool is they take man-eaters and give them a second chance. So an animal like this, who's killed dozens of people, actually gets to live out their days and have enrichment like this instead of being executed like they would anywhere else in the world. But it's only number four on our list of man-eaters. So we'll let him enjoy his little snack toy over there. And let's go meet number three. The next animal is larger, stronger, and has a history of intentionally hunting for humans. And somehow, it's still not number one on our list. Whoa! Oh, jeez. So coming in at number three, as you can see here, is the tiger. Now, that is an infamous man-eater named Pancham. And every time we come by here, he goes crazy like that. I don't see him. Whoa. Because this tiger is missing his canines. And he became a known man-eater before he was rescued and brought right here to Vantara. India holds more than 70% of the world's wild tiger population

left here. And because of that, people and humans come into conflict with them way more than you'd hope for. And these tigers are solitary ambush predators, usually hunting at night, which is why we're here at dusk. And at 10 feet long, weighing over 500 pounds and having an over 1,000 PSI bite force, hunting for a human is nothing. They become man-eaters. They realize that we're a soft, easy prey. And that's it. And that is why tigers account for 50 to 60 human deaths per year, which, if you think about that and you think about the fact that their population is so imperiled in the wild, it's really due to us as human beings encroaching into their world that leads to these crazy attacks. But he is nowhere near as big and potentially as aggressive as our number two. So we'll say bye to Pancham the man-eater, leave tigers, and go check out our next deadly Indian animal. Oh, jeez. Here we go. Whoa. Another one of India's deadliest animals right here. Look at this guy. He's all fired up. Now, this is a mustang bull Indian elephant. Now, that red line is right here. because if I get too close, he's going to stick that trunk

out and grab me and pull me in and trample me literally to pulp. Now, as you've seen here at Ventara, I have walked in the forest with elephants. I've had these beautiful animals right beside me. These animals will go into something called must. Now, must is a process in which their testosterone will spike 30 to 60 times more than it usually is. And when that testosterone spikes, these animals become violent. That testosterone literally takes over their brain and changes the way they behave. Now, typically, when that happens, what they'll do is they'll chain an elephant up, and they'll tie him to a log. But here at Ventara, come and see what happens. They'll have an incredible enclosure like this one right here with no elephant. And every single musting bull elephant gets their own big pen like this. And whether they're in must for three months, or 12, or 13 months, they have their own swimming pool. They have their own high shaded area, their own pile of dirt. They're a huge giant spaced area. So it's so unbelievably cool to see how you can have these big, beautiful, bullish animals, these male elephants that are so capable of killing people, kept near to each other. Now, as you can see, they're so fired up. And that is why the Indian elephant comes in as the second most deadly animal in India,

with between 400 and 500 kills per year. Let's go meet number one. We have seen nine of India's craziest, most deadly animals. But now, we're going to meet number one, a group of animals that literally strike fear into people's hearts. Not this guy, though, right, Vishal? This guy loves them. So what snakes do we have here? So we have a rescue, a couple of rescues from today morning. They are spectacled cobras and Russell's viper. 60,000 people per year get killed in India from snakes alone. And these two are at the very top, right? Yes. So correct me if I'm wrong, but here at Ventara, you guys not only rescue all of these animals and give them forever homes, but local animals like these two that come off the roads right around here in Jamnagar and in the area, you take them. And I can see they're both soaking. So that's a hydration method. That's a hydration method. Once you open that, you'll see that that guy also has got old injuries. The ribs around the hood are broken. Let's take a look here. Oh, he's all ready to come. Ready? Look at that.

There we go. Beautiful. You see those dents on the hood? Yeah. The ribs, the tip of the ribs are broken. Now, what could that be from, an old injury, someone hitting them with a stick, anything? Yeah, yeah. 60,000 bites per year. I mean, that is absolutely ridiculous. Look how confident Vishal is. Not me, I'm much more terrified. But the reason that these animals make up nearly 60,000 bites a year is primarily from agriculture, right? People are farming, walking in the fields, walking in the bush at night, and they step on one. These are not aggressive animals. They're defensive animals. They're defensive animals, yeah. Like, for example, the Russell's viper is an ambush predator, right? So it will sit, it'll hold its ground, it'll not move. And people will accidentally step on one. Right. So look at that, two magnificent snakes here in India that collectively kill up to 60,000 people a year. And throughout this video, we have named the top 10 deadliest creatures here in the country of India, somewhere

that has more human-wildlife conflict than anywhere else on the planet. But here at Ventara, every animal gets a chance. Whether it's a cobra with broken ribs, a Russell's viper, know that these animals have a right to be here, and none of them want to hurt people.
