When Faith Hurts
What do you do when you have been praying, believing, trying to follow Jesus, and life still feels like one long storm?
In this episode, Trevor responds to a deeply honest letter from a young man who asks some hard questions. What about unanswered prayers? What about anger, regret, a long prison sentence, watching people around you lose hope, and reaching the point where you feel like you cannot keep rowing anymore?
This is not a conversation about pretending life is easy. It is about what it looks like to keep walking with God when your circumstances have not changed yet. From Jesus serving in the middle of His own suffering, to Paul holding onto a broken piece of a ship, to Enoch choosing to walk with God, this episode is a reminder that even when your oar feels broken, your life still matters, God still sees you, and there is still something in your hands that can become light for somebody else.
"I'm alive, I'm alive!" "What it is, what it ain't! It's time to put another one in that living in a van down by the river!" "Tell y'all, we're the tears in my eye!" "Oh, what it is, what it ain't, panda land! It's time, it's time baby to put another one in that pan dough app bank!" "What's up everybody, my name is Trevor and this is maybe the first time watching or you have been a long time listener since we launched year on panda land." "I launched year on panda last November, November 2025, that was after November 2024. Listen, my name is Trevor and I have the amazing opportunity to volunteer here at Champion Church and to be able to put together this Champion Church show where our heart is to serve you wherever you're sitting at to be a part of our DOC family, part of the resident family all over the United States of America whether you are all the way in Oregon. Maybe you are down here in Florida, I'm in Northeast Florida myself, maybe you're in Georgia, North Carolina, shout out North Carolina! Got a phone call from North Cackalacki this week about some discipleship stuff that's coming to Putnam CI here in Florida. Man, I've got more drinks up here than a concession stand, I can promise you. What am I drinking today? Of course I got that prime, maybe I got that PRI and me. It's been a little hard to find prime lately, get a little nervous. But I'm drinking that Alani new, the energy drink, and this one is called Cosmic Stardust, okay? Cosmic Stardust, which I would imagine some of y'all might have called something like that and got you where you're sitting, okay? But that was a bad joke, but you understand, anyhow, that Cosmic Stardust is what I'm having. Honestly, not my favorite flavor, but it is what it is, I need a little bit of caffeine in my veins, because someone has some other day, do you drink coffee? Oh, when I was in Marion, they were like, I won't make you coffee, I don't even drink coffee. But anyhow, wherever you are at, ma'am, or ladies, our ladies and gents out in Pandoland, such an honor to be able to serve you and to be a part of your life wherever you are sitting. Whether you're doing a little bid, bid, bid, bid, bid, bid, B-I-D, a little bid, a big bid, or anywhere in between or beyond or whatever. We just wanted to be able to serve you and help you champion this season of your life. We do that through Christ. I'm a Christian, I am a Jesus guy, pretty open about that and to follow him. Got a few things I want to do here, got a letter in that I'm going to read and respond to here in just a moment. Also, I don't know if I put this one on there, but I thought this one was cool. I didn't write or herald that starts with an M out in Navasota, Texas. Not really sure, but this is really cool, man. Keep on rowing, baby, keep on rowing, then you open up a little champion church thing. So thank you so much for that. Also, this one is drawing. I didn't write it on the back, who this is from, or says John. He said, I don't know what that says, John F.
Maybe thank you so much for sending that in. I'm always amazed by y'all's talents. Somebody sent me this as well, and they were like, go Chevy's or something with that. Praise God. Oh, I didn't get to say this last week, shout out to Hope Ministries at Mary and CI. Give me the birthday card as well and all the guys signing that. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, this one right here, man, got this one in from Jay Barrett, dude. Thank you so much for sending this in. I think you're in Texas. Made this. Send it in. Tell me about the love of God, man. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Really cool. Phenomenal job, of course. Phenomenal job. So thank you. Really means a lot for sure. All right. Today, if you've never been here with us, here's what we do. Oh, I've got some new travel dates, ladies and gents. I've got some new droughts. Now, you might say, Trevor, I want you to come to where I'm at. Well, here's how that happens, okay? You're gonna need number one, the ward and on board, all right? Number two, you need administration on board.
Number three, you need chaplain on board. The chaplain typically is the one that or whoever is in charge, essentially, would be the one to reach out. They reach out to the church info at championchurch.cc. Send an email, send what dates, what it looks like. I typically will do like a chapel service. I try to do a little Q and A after and then get to meet people and all that kind of stuff. But I will say this, if we can make it happen, I will come out there on my own dime. I do not work it. Actually, we don't have anybody that works at champion church. We are all volunteer-based philanthropy driven to help people champion every season. So obviously through this right here with the DOC, with our DOC resident families and family. And then also the champion obviously doesn't have to do with this, but we do like wheelchair ramps. We do your projects for widows and single moms, do a lot of stuff to help people with groceries and the homeless as well. We do a lot of homeless ministry here locally. But anyhow, all that being said, we're volunteer-based, but if you can get me in, I will come out there. So, so, so got some dates to announce. We'll start with this November 2nd. This one is tentative. I did all my training for Florida. I finished it up yesterday.
I've already done all my fingerprinting, all that kind of stuff. But I did my Priya training and my HIPAA training literally last night before bed. So, I say all that to say landcaster correctional. Landcaster correctional is having a little revival. November 2nd through the 6th, it looks like right now I will be there November 2nd. I believe that is a Monday night to speak. Also, Segovia units in Edinburgh, Texas, Segovia. The unit, that's U-N-I-T. All right, some days changed as I recorded that. It's Thursday morning, bright and early. Heading into work, but I wanted to say this, some things changed on the day. So, I'm going to come out to South Texas. We'll see, I believe it's what it's called, We'll see unit, which will be on Wednesday, November 4th. That'll be out there. And then Segovia coming there Thursday, November 5th. And then Lopez coming out there. Good, Lord is bright this morning. I'm coming out there on Friday, November 6th. So, we'll see the 4th, Segovia, the 5th, and then Lopez on November 6th. And then also, Mac Alfred out there and oh, go, hold on. Looks like I'm coming out there, December, mid-December. Ladies and gents. Anyhow, let's get back to the rest of the show. Happy Thursday, y'all.
5th, all right. I'll be out there. And then Kingman Correctional in Arizona. Kingman Correctional in Arizona. I will be out there Tuesday, December 1st. I'll be out there Tuesday, December 1st. Then I've got some other things working, hopefully with the style, oh, I better not say who with. But in Texas, okay. So, my goal is, why am I yelling? Why am I yelling? Just excited. So, Lancaster, I'm going to come out there, I'll preach Monday night, hit the airport, fly out to South Texas, hit Edinburgh, those two days, fly home. And then I'll go right back out on Monday, right after Thanksgiving, fly out to Arizona. Do that, and then I'm hoping to, 'cause I'm only in Kingman on Tuesday, December 1st. And then I'm probably going to jump from there down to Houston, and there's some places around there that we're trying to work to get me in. So, and yeah, yeah, that's cool stuff. Jefferson City did reach out, they were trying to get me in there in December, we couldn't make it work. It's really hard for me to do weekends outside of Florida because it's within driving distance. Like I could do Saturdays in Florida pretty much
outside of having to go to like the Panhandle or something. I could do those, especially if they're within a couple hours or whatever. But it's really hard to travel and do Saturdays because of being home, number one, with my family. And then number two, with our church family, our local church family as well. So, all right, if you've never been here, I do a little bit of that. We do a little trip on something where we're going to ride, I don't know, something, motorcycle, surfboard, horseback, whatever, boat, I don't know. And then I got lent all over me like a hug to lamb. And then I'm going to speak to you, talk to you a little bit, try to teach you something. And then I do the segments of can you preach that, right? And so I'll do all of that kind of stuff. But, but this gentleman right here, sent me a letter and genuine letter and had an issue with, what do you do when I've been telling you to row, but you can't row anymore. What do you do when you feel like I can preach all of that get through today. And can you preach dealing with a sentence on your life that man I'm telling you it's humbling. It's real. It's not something to play with. What are you doing those moments? Can you preach that? We might make it to Hebrews chapter 11 today. That's what I'm teaching on as we're going through the book of Hebrews or Hebrews chapter 11 specifically and to talk about Enoch and all that kind of stuff. But but I really felt like I need to respond to my brother's letter that he sent in and maybe it's going to help you as well. So for now let's jump into the episode. [Music]

So man, you are already seeing brother that God is moving things behind the scenes. We talked about this a couple of weeks ago. God is always doing more behind the scenes than we realize or maybe even give him credit for. Now let's keep reading. But I just, Trevor, I just wanted to ask you why. Why aren't you telling the full truth in your messages? You're wondering, you're wondering what the heck is he talking about? I know. Well, what I mean is you make everything sound so easy and it's not. You're not the only one though. All the pastors I've ever known, they seem to talk about the whole, they seem to talk about the whole thing.
Sorry, the hand. And I'm not good at reading. So I'm not going to blame your handwriting. It's not terrible. But your boy was on Hooked On Phonics. I'm about to, how many times did I go through, I probably like a 2.6 time graduate of Hooked On Phonics. Okay. Anyhow, you make it sound so easy man and it's not. You're not the only one, you're not the only one though. All the pastors I've ever known, they never seem to talk about the whole thing. The whole thing being is easy and it's not from what he's saying. They talk about everything after the storm, but man, some of us, a lot of us are still going through the storm. Okay. Okay. Let me just address here. I'm going to just kind of mark where we're at. Okay. You're saying I'm not saying the whole truth. I respect that, but I would also respectfully disagree. I don't think there's ever been an episode that I've said on here and talked about how easy it is following Jesus or maybe how simple it is or easy it is in the situation that so many ladies and gentlemen that are residents of the DLC right now are facing. But I will say this, brother, I will say this and I'm not going to say your name. It does start with the J though. So you and you know who I'm talking about already. If I'm reading this much, you know, I'm reading your letter. I will say if I ever insinuate it that it is easy to follow Jesus sitting in a prison in a work camp in a cell, wherever in a detention center in county, whatever it might be, if
let me just take it beyond that, even if you're not incarcerated, if I have ever insinuated that it's easy. I want to, I want to ask for forgiveness because that's not my heart and that's not reality. Let me say something very, very clear. Life is difficult, man. Life is hard and the Christian life actually works best because life is hard. You know this already, life has a way to always be life and they will always find a way that seems like to punch you in the mouth. That's how life goes, it seems like. And that's, I'm just, I'm just talking about on the outside. I can't even imagine what you are facing on the inside and knowing this. Some of you are sitting in darker places than others. Some of you, your prison, your jail, your blocked, your dorm, your ad sag, whatever it might be, might be darker than someone else's on a different part of the country or a different part of the state or maybe for some of you in a different part of the same county. So we're not minimizing any of that. But if I made it seem like I am, I, I will say genuinely, I'm sorry, but that is not my heart whatsoever. I think I want to make it very clear. Following Jesus is not simple, but I will say it is best. Following Jesus is not simple, but I will say, I believe it is the way to actual life. I believe Jesus' words don't just stop because of difficulty. Jesus' words actually penetrate the darkness unlike anything else and can bring life even where you are sitting. Not just because I know it. Listen, I've never been in your situation and I've also made that abundantly clear here on the, on the show. I've never been incarcerated and I'm never trying to pretend like I know what it's like. But what I can say is this is I have met plenty of men and women just in the last few months
that we've been able to be on here that know what it's like to be in that exact same dark place. But they also know what it's like to find true life. And so yes, you might know pastors that make it seem easy, maybe me being one, but I want to look you dead in the eye through this camera with that tablet in your hand and say, brother, listen to me, it's not easy, but it's worth it. It's not easy, but it, but I'm telling you it's better than the contrary. It is not easy to know that your life is turned upside down. I'm not saying it is and I'm not saying you're not still in the storm and I do disagree that you say pastors only talk about the storm. Brother, literally the book I wrote is called 41 and it talks about for 300 pages in that thing. It talks about being in the storm. So I do disagree with you on that is I'd only talk about the 41. No, no, no. I addressed the seasons of 40. The seasons of 40s are trials, testing, pruning, and processing hardships. Seasons of 40 are things that you get yourself in, and that you had nothing to do with, and somebody hurt you, and you were the victim, and now you're in that, but here's what I love. Even if you put yourself in that situation, hello Moses, hello Moses, that murdered a man, and then had to go through a season of 40. He did over a 40-year bid when you think about it on the backside of the desert, because he did something he should not have done. Come on now we can't, we can't turn away from that, and say that we only look at the the resurrection, or we only look at the 41, or we only look at when the storm's over. The reason why we look at it is because the Bible does tell us to lift up our eyes and to see where our help comes from, and I believe every 40, every storm, every difficulty does eventually end, but me saying that doesn't minimize what you feel in brother. It doesn't minimize the hurt that you are feeling and going through right now. So hear me, I'm trying to tell you, I'm not pretending like I get it, but I am telling you that Jesus knows that you are seen. Now let's keep reading. You talk about, talking about me, don't stop rowing. Yep, so if you've never heard us talk about that, here's what we mean.
I should do it. People have asked for two episodes. Number one, my story like a testimony, I might, nobody, nobody cares about that. Let me, that cosmic star does maybe. Oh, I'm gonna swallow that too quick. This is what I get. When we talk about rowing, that one got me choked on that. Something like, yeah, you deserve that probably. We talk about champion churches, robo, right? If champion church was a big robo, the only way it moves for it is everybody grabbing an oar and rowing together, that it takes all of its rowing, and it's been awesome. The different prisons I've been going to, everybody's talking about man, we're rowing with you. And here's how you row with us is you just do what you can to shine the light, man. There's an episode that spoke to you. Maybe there's somebody that you know in your dorm or just got moved to your camper or maybe it's a new seller or maybe it's somebody down that everybody else has been avoiding, but you know you watched an episode here and it spoke to you and it might speak to them. That's rowing together. That's just saying, here's what rowing is. Let me move it with my chin. Here's what rowing is. It is saying, I know what I'm going through and I know the storm that I'm in and I know the stuff that I'm facing, but I also know life is bigger than just me. And if I can do something to be some type of answer prayer for somebody else, man, then let me say yes to that. Then let me say that's rowing together. That's telling somebody, hey man, this spoke to me, this whatever it might be, that is us rowing together and it moves it all for when I've said it a thousand times, I feel like when champion, when the champion church show is trending, it's all of us trending. Yes, it's my big ugly face, but it's all of us that are trending. I can't do this without all of you. There's no way this happens. These dates I just talked about where I'm able to go to. That doesn't happen without all of us rowing together. All right. Now, you talk about don't stop rowing, but what about when your or snaps from the strong waves of the ocean storm? What about when you just can't row anymore? And don't tell me it's not possible because I've had my back against the wall before. He says, I'm I'm gonna be careful. I'm gonna say I'm not gonna say his age here. He's young. Okay. And I've seen so many of the of the brothers die or get 30 or 50 years or even life. They can't row anymore. Trevor, it's over for them. I put so many people around me in jeopardy. I'm gonna I'm gonna take out what you say here, brother, just had to respect and I don't want to incriminate you or anything like that. All right. And and he says, I don't deserve to keep rowing. See now, let's see. Here's what I love, man. You're just you're just talking. You're just being honest. Right. So you're like, Hey, I'm still in the storm.
You said you get you've seen people that that you've cared about around you die. You've seen people that you care about around you get 30 or 50 years. Okay. And you feel like, man, I literally can't everything is broken. Here's, can I just say this? Brother, I've got please hear my heart. It was what I'm about to say. I've got thousands of letters that I've not been able to respond to. Some of the stuff that I'm I've got to be careful how and if I can respond to letters, first of all, and we're going to talk about that more down the road, but I want to be careful. I say this, but I also want to be honest with you. Thousands of letters that are sitting in somebody are like, yeah, that's my letter. Try if I send that to you. I just decided to open yours this morning. Buddy, there wasn't nothing about your letter that was special on the outside. Except I literally said, you know what, I'm going to open this letter. It was yours and Bob from law. I, I, there goes my pen. I don't even need that. It was, it was yours and Bob's literally. And I decided to open yours and read it. And to hear the her and whatnot that you're feeling, to hear the pain brother that you're going through. And here's the truth of the matter, what you are facing and what you're feeling, like Trevor, I don't deserve to row. I'm not worthy enough to do that. It feels like the ore in my own life is broken. Like I've seen people I care about die. They can't row anymore and you're right. And then you say, man, I've got people that are 30, 50 years sentences. They can't row anymore. I would disagree with you, but I'm going to say this. You wrote something down. And out of thousands of letters, Bob, I opened yours, man. Open yours and your questions are probably the same question.
Somebody else's feeling sitting in North Dakota reading this thing or is somebody else's feeling sitting in Arkansas, maybe it's what somebody else is feeling, sitting in Tennessee or sitting in Maine or sitting in New York state or sitting in Florida, their own questions that they have. And brother, you wrote it down. And whether you realize it or not, you're rowing, just doing that because you're like, man, help me see this. And for me to just be like, all right, man, we're just going to call an audible on the show today. We're going to do something completely different than what I planned on doing. And I'm just going to sit down if I was to sit down with a little brother and just talk with you. You said, I don't even deserve to keep rowing. I've cursed God so many times for unanswered prayers because unanswered prayers hurt. You are not kidding, man. You are not kidding. That's a very, very, very real pain. Right. Let's keep reading. Faith has never been my problem, but that's why it hurts so much because I go to God faithfully and it's like he doesn't hear me. Like he didn't, like didn't he say, seek and I should find ask, I'll be given you do the, can you preach that? Will you? Well, can you preach poverty and unanswered prayers? What about I can't row anymore? Can you preach that? Or wait, can you preach a 49 year prison sentence? Can you? Because I can. I can't go fishing with my dad, Trevor. I don't have friends who are interested in mud riding or flat track racing, which is so funny. You said that because literally Bob wrote about it. That was the two letters. I've never been to a car show. Unless you count when the view, which used to come through the hood when I was young, I'm afraid I'm not making sense to you, pastor, Trevor, you are, buddy. You absolute brother, you are absolutely making sense and I hear your heart. So here's my part. Your videos are great, but I can't relate. All they do for me is show me what I can't do from a prison cell. Can you talk about how to overcome self-harm thoughts or a heart, uh, thoughts of vengeful? I'm taking a little bit of what you're saying here,
only because I want to be respectful to, to, I'm not trying to get anybody in trouble. I don't have this self-harm thoughts anymore. Praise God. But I battle constantly with these vengeful thoughts. Can you preach that? Trevor, I just want to be a better Christian. Here's, here's, yeah, I can preach that man. Listen, you're hurting. Whether you're hurting. That's what I see. You're hurting it and you just want your life to matter. You just want to feel like, man, I'm seen in some way, you didn't write this. You know, the, the, I've gotten some and I've joked about him here on the show. I've just ridiculous letters. That's not, that's not what this is. You're hurting. Can I preach? Do you keep growing? You absolutely can. Here's the thing. You said, I want to be a better Christian. So you're a follower of Jesus. Well, here's what I know. Here's what I know. Jesus then, if you are a follower of Jesus, he is the standard, especially if you're a man, he is the standard of manhood. Jesus, his life was not fair. He was mistreated, abused, that we could get what we never deserve, which is the mercy of God and the grace of God. He took our place because that's how much he loved us. And when he served, he said the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to be served. And when he served, here's the absolutely wild part about that is he didn't need to. He didn't have to. He had bigger things going on. And he was at the point where literally he was so stressed. He was, he was sweating great straw, uh, drops of blood in the garden. And yet that night he washes the disciples feet, which tells me this, when you still decide somehow I'm going to, and the way we say it, I'm going to row. Somehow I'm going to pick up the ore, even if it's broken, even if I barely have anything left, but I'm going to use what I have, even if I feel like I'm barely hanging on in the worst storm. I think about Paul and Acts chapter 28, when he's floating in in his, in his boat is shipwrecked and he doesn't know if he is going to make it. I think about that. He just holds on to the little piece. Go read that story. Acts chapter 28, his, I think it's 27 and 28. His, his boat is shipwrecked and he literally makes it a shore through the storm, holding on to a piece of the boat. Maybe for you, brother, the piece of the bow is to have this talked about with the DOC family here on the champion church show. Maybe that's it, man. Maybe that's just a reminder that you are seeing that
your life is not over. Can I preach a 49 year prison sentence? No, I can't, man. I'm not trying. I can, but you can. So why not? You do what only you can do. Why not you row from there? Why not you say you know what? I've made some mistakes and I'm not saying you're not saying you haven't, but even in this sentence, what if you were the one that says I'm still going to serve God? What if you were the one that says I'm still going to get up and I'm still going to ask God and seek God? Maybe I haven't seen it answered how I wanted, but that doesn't mean I'm quitting seeking him today. I had a gentleman tell me this one time. I was frustrated. I was believing God for some. I didn't see it. I didn't see it. I didn't see it. And I was like, I'm, I'm just tired of, of just, for me, it felt like silence. And he goes, listen, you're one day closer to hearing him again. You're one day closer to seeing him move again. And brother, maybe for you, you wrote this on August 27th. I'm filming this on September 29th. Maybe for you, this is going to drop it just the right time to be the reminder. Keep holding on to the little piece maybe that you have of your or you're in the storm, but every storm ends, every storm in human history is ended. That's why we know even in yours, it will end too. So what if you were the one though that has that big 49 year bid, but you said, you know what? I'm going to be the light and I'm going to be the one that says, if Jesus is the standard, let me be the standard of someone who has a 49 year bid, that I'm still serving God no matter what. I hope that makes sense. Let the new one say, Hey, you know what? I am serving this bit. I am having this going. But if Jesus is my standard, let me be the standard that somebody else can look up to if they're coming in here and they're facing things where they've lost friends and they're facing things where they've got friends facing 30 and 50 years and they're facing a sentence that they have no idea how they're going to get through. Maybe I could be the light into their darkness to look at them and say, Hey, listen, if I've championed this season, so can you. And so can you. What if you could be that one? What if you could be the one that says, listen, I believe Romans chapter eight, verse 28, that God is moving and making all things work together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose, brother, you are still called according to his purpose. If you have breath in your lungs today, man, you're still worthy to call him Lord, king and savior and to say that's the standard. And if Jesus got up and pushed through so am I, Galatians chapter
six says, do not grow weary and well doing, which tells me this, it's going to be easy to grow weary and well doing, but at just the right time, God will be faithful. That's Galatians six, nine, go read it, man. Let, let Romans eight become something that's a part of your heart that nothing will separate us from the love of God. Nothing, not even your mistakes, not even your mess ups, shortcomings, doubts, frustrations. And let this just be like, maybe, maybe, maybe you're not the one who wrote this letter, but you feel like he did. Let this speak to you, man. God's moving more than you think he is. Keep the face. Keep the face. Maybe there's a big shift. We were supposed to be talking about Hebrews chapter 11 today. It says, "Enoch walked with God." And that's what pleased him. Genesis 5 is a story of Enoch. And I love this. If you go see Genesis 5 verse 21 and 22, it says that when Enoch has his son, Methuselah, he begins to walk with God, which tells me this, "When we're given responsibility and makes us choose, my way or his way, my way or his way." And Enoch walked with God for 300 years. And it's just a thing is when things happen and now things shift in your life, you have to decide, am I going to walk with him? Am I going to walk knowing his presence is there with me? Now I'm shifting here away from this necessarily right now. But I want to say this, when responsibility and circumstances shift, like they did for Enoch when he has Methuselah, again, Genesis chapter 5 verses 21 and 22, go read it.
You decide, walking with him, walking on my own. Now what does that mean? Walk with him. Do I walk knowing his presence is real? That he'll never leave me nor forsake me? Even sitting wherever you're sitting, do I walk with him in that way? Do I walk with him in companionship? That's something I'm trying to learn even better in my own life. It's like I know God is with me all the time, but do I connect with him like I would connect to a friend? Do I walk with God in companionship? And when you're walking with him and you know his presence and you're walking with him as a friend of God, now there's something else I just want to begin to walk in his ways. One of the greatest ways you can row is walking his ways. Go read Matthew 5, 6, and 7. Go read that and right here on the panda web, if you didn't know there's a little Bible button down there, you could read it right there if you don't have one or maybe wherever your act doesn't allow paper Bibles. I know that's for some people, but man, go read the Sermon on the Mount. Go read his ways and walk in his ways. Isaiah 55 says his ways in his word will never return unfruitful, even if we don't see it yet. Doesn't mean it's not happening, right? And then when we're walking, knowing his presence in his companionship in his ways, something, man, we have to walk in humility. Humility is always the way forward.
My brother here, he's hurting. And you hear that. Well, can you preach that? Can you preach? And you're just brother, you're hurting. And that's okay. Like it's it's a meaning like this. Like I'm not offended. Does that make sense? Not this. Okay, you're hurting. I'm not offended by your honesty. You are incredibly versus as long as like the people that are disrespectful as if you're not being disrespectful. You're asking genuinely. And that's why I just want to. And I say, little brother, because I just just turned 37. And you were I don't want to say the exact. I just want to be careful and respectful around the age of 20. Let's say that. Okay. Give or take some or whatever. I just want to say, man, remember humility is way forward. To me, that was a humble. You had the points of like frustration and hurt, but humility is always the way forward. And then Psalm 84 11. So I love no good thing. Well, he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
And I would always read that verse and think, well, I'm not perfect. So I'm out like, that's not going to work for me, right? Like that ain't going to happen. Like there's no way that's going to happen for me. And here's what I've learned. Psalm 84 11 says, no good thing will he withhold for those who walk upright. They doesn't mean perfection. There was only one perfect in his name was Jesus. And he left heaven and came to earth to offer us salvation. If you have never received Jesus as your king and as your savior, I encourage you to do so. Panda makes it incredibly easy. There's a button right below me to click it and it'll walk you through it. But walking uprightly does not mean walking perfectly. That's not what that word means. There's actually two meanings to that word. If you go and look it up in the original writings, the one side is this, it means complete wholeness, which is exactly what salvation is talking about in the New Testament. So it says, no good thing will he withhold from those who walk in completely wholeness. Knowing this, I'm not just fragments of who God made me to be. I may have made issues or I may have my issues. I may have made mistakes, that's how I want to say it. But this does not mean that I'm just a fragment of myself. But when I make Jesus my king and my savior, there's a process he's taking me through that I am a new creation in him. I am becoming who he has created me to be. But walking uprightly, the other side of that coin is this, is that my life points to Jesus. I'm walking uprightly, it points to God.
Galatians, or excuse me, Matthew chapter five, it says that we are the start of the earth, the light of the world, a city set on a hill. Why? So people can see our good deeds and praise our heavenly Father. I've said this so many times and I want to say it again. For prayers They need to be rooted in his will and have fruit where people can taste and see that he is good The question of what about unanswered prayers brother It's very difficult for me to answer that without knowing what they exactly were because there's so many different things to go into that And then foremost or maybe most importantly I should say this I am not God I'm just Trevor Who just has a heart to serve as many people as I can in the DOC and to let you know you're not forgotten. I love you I Genuinely love you and you're like you don't know me that maybe that's even And it makes it easier, but I love you enough to do this. I Love you enough to make sure you have something I get a brother you're frustrated like you don't want to see that stuff And that's okay But there is a lot of people out there They do want to be taken out of that cell that they do want to see these things they do They see these moments of just a reminder of God's goodness when they feels like they are going through a whole week And it's not until the next Thursday. Do they get another I? Was gonna say shot of it. I don't know the best way Look into the goodness and the beauty of God I hope today has helped somebody Called a little bit of an audible and gave you a little bit on e-knock so in case none of that pertains you I none of that helps me. Hopefully this speaks to you Here at champion we have a heart to love you ma'am. We have an absolute heart to love you and Hopefully I'm showing that through with this show right here. So until next time God bless all of you I hope you enjoy the rest of the show usually we go do some type of scenic thing after this and the whole reason we do that

It is a whopping 779 meters due to its remote location and can name the National Park Angel Falls is quite hard to visit though. It's stunning setting and awe-inspiring scenery Certainly make it well worth the effort Number 24 Giant's Cosway Situated at the base of steep cliffs on the northeast coast of Ireland The Giant's Cosway is a natural rock formation that does indeed look as if it were fashioned by giants The honeycomb formation of hexagon shaped basalt columns appears too geometrically perfect to have been shaped by nature It actually took 60 million years of tectonic plate movement Lava flows and erosion to fashion the stepping stone columns into their present shape Clifftop trails offer great views of the rocks and a flight of steps leads down to sea level [Music] Number 23. Its gigantic, jagged cliffs rise to 1,200 meters above the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean, with scenic beaches and coves hidden below. As the rugged terrain is so inaccessible, the only way to visit is by hiking, kayaking, or helicopter, with phenomenal panoramas wherever you look. While it is famed for having featured in Jurassic Park, the grand and gorgeous stretch of coastline has appeared in numerous films and TV shows over the years. From well-experienced mountaineers to novice climbers willing to pay substantial sums to professional mountain guides to complete a successful climb. Although other 8,000ers, such as K2, are much more difficult to climb, Mount Everest still has many inherent dangers, such as altitude sickness, weather, and wind. At the base of Everest, Sherpas and Mountaineers work overtime to prepare for their trip to the summit. [MUSIC PLAYING] Number 21.

Although deserts are often imagined as dunes, Wadi Rum boasts sandstone mountains and towering granite cliffs.
The distinctive reddish orange colors that lend the area and otherworldly quality has brought several science fiction films here to replicate the red planet. To top it all off, the enormous fresh water lake contains more water than all the great lakes in North America combined. With so many accolades to its name, it's no wonder that Lake Baikal is nicknamed the Pearl of Siberia. While the lake makes for fabulous viewing when the summer sun glints off its dark waters, it is no less impressive in the winter when it freezes up to two meters deep in parts. Whether it's ice skating across the surface or hiking along the scenic shoreline, Lake Baikal is a nature lover's dream. #19 Lake Baikal is a dream. #19 Lake Baikal is a dream. #18 the Maldives Located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the idyllic Maldives archipelago is spelled bindingly beautiful. Close to the equator, the Maldives has a warm and tropical climate that's perfect for lazy beach days all year round. This low-lying island group is celebrated for its high level of luxury and emphasis on the slow life. Perfect for honeymooners, the Maldives designer accommodation is out of this world. Take your pick of underwater villas, overwater villas, and
everything in between. There's even an underwater restaurant for those looking to dine surrounded by schools of tropical fish. They come for the winter sports, and summer hiking and camping. #16 Salar de Yoo-hoo! #16 Salar de Yoo-hoo! Located in the Andes Mountains, Salar de Yoo-hoo! The expanse of salt creates an unending white landscape during the dry season, but the area is most breathtaking in the rainy season when it's covered in water. The reflection of blue sky creates a spectacular and surreal landscape, though some tourists insist on seeing the salt. One of the most unusual places to visit in South America, it's also a major breeding ground for flamingos. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] The granddaddy of American National Parks, Yellowstone is the oldest in the United States and the world, having been founded in 1872. When it was first discovered, stories of the magnificence of the area were passed off as lies and tall tales. You can see why erupting geysers here belt steam and water, such as the clockwork old faithful. There are boiling hot springs like the Grand Prismatic Spring.
Thanks to differing temperatures and minerals as the water spreads out, this is a veritable rainbow of unbelievable colors. There's even the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, a natural wonder in granite. This place is a true icon of must-see nature. [Music] [Music] Number 14. Iguazu Falls. Made up of some 275 different cascades, falls and drops, Iguazu falls on the Argentine-Brazilian border is the world's largest waterfall system. As such, it is the only waterfall that can rival or possibly even surpass Victoria Falls. For almost three kilometers in total, gorgeous falls course over the Parana Plateau, with the undoubted highlight being Devil's Throat Canyon. This is best witnessed from the Brazilian side's viewing platform, where you are greeted with teeny sheets of water, a deafening roar and a fine spray, with lush rainforests lying around it. The falls are a treat to visit. Visitors can take boat trips along the Iguazu River or explore the nearby paths and trails. [Music] [Music] All right, what it is, what it ain't everybody, let's do a little "can you preach that baby?" and put some more in that pain. All right, here we go, roller coasters. A lot of y'all have asked for that beforehand. I've been slacking on that one, so can you preach that roller coasters? All right, number one, I hate. I hate roller coasters, because I'll get super sick, so I'll just get really, really, really sick. Really, like motion sick, but also another thing I don't like is you can't see the whole journey. see the next hill or the next turn. You really don't know what is coming up or what something might be right around the corner or what the next big drop is or the next climb is or whatever it might be. So here's what I was thinking. Can you preach that roller coasters? That's the same in life. No one knows everything that's going on. No one knows everything to come but here's the truth of the matter. This is an old preacher and cliche. I may not know my future but I know who holds it, right? Talking about God, talking about Jesus. So that's what I would say, man. Can you preach that? Don't be discouraged just because you can't see everything that's going to happen. Just trust
the one who is the alpha in the Omega, the beginning, in the end, the first and the last, the one who has created everything. It is crazy, madly in love with you even when things don't make sense. Even when you feel like you're spinning upside down around and around. That sounds like a flow right of song. Anyhow, even then, man, trust the one who has it all in his hands, have faith, man. Trust that he has never failed you and he never will. He's the same yesterday, today and forever, according to Hebrews chapter 13, verse eight. So that's how I would do roller coasters. That's what I would say. Even when you can't see all of it. Well, let me add this, his word is a lamp into our feet. What is that? Psalm 119. So man, maybe just get this word. Say, Lord, I'm going to feed my heart on your word and I am believing. I am believing that in that you are guiding my steps. So yeah, can you preach that roller coasters? All right, here we go, guys. We are riding Superman ride of steel here at Six Flags America. This is this is kind of a bittersweet ride for me because this will be my last ride on this roller coaster ride of steel. That's right. This park only has 10 more operating days left after today. And then this park closes forever. So from the lift hill here, you could see so much of the park just battling over there. Oh man, you could really see the entire park from up here. This is an amazing view. This will be very sad when this park goes. What a fun collection of rides. Superman, Wild One, Joker's, Jinx, Roar. All right, here we go. We are almost at the top. Let's do this, guys. Last ride on Superman. Here we go. Oh man. Oh wow. Ready? I am out of my seat. Oh my God. Oh. He looks, he looks, he looks, he looks, he looks. Super helix. Ride on helix. Here we go. Oh man. Oh, straight bit, straight bit, straight bit, straight bit, airtime bit. Oh my God. Oh wow. Here we go. He looks number two. He looks number two. Super helix, super helix. Ride, ride, ride. He looks number two. Oh man. Oh. Here come the buddy hills. Wee. Super buddy hills. Woo. Oh man. Woo. And that final ride on Superman, ride of steel. What a way to go. Yeah. All right. Here we go. We're riding the Wild One at Six Flags America. And again, this ride is what? Over a hundred years old. And this could be our last ride on the Wild One. Paying our respects to a 100, what is it? Like a hundred and seven, a hundred and eight-year-old Woody? Re-located. Re-located. Re-profile. It is, it has had a lot of history on this good old ride. And now we're in what could potentially be its final season. So come ride it if you still can. If you're watching this video in like 2035, then sorry. Yeah, you missed out. It was, you know. Here we go guys. Hands up, oh, oh. Ready. Ready. Oh yeah. Oh man. Whoo. Oh yeah. That still rides
pretty good for over a hundred years old. Oh man. Hello. I'm on sea coast there. Whoo. Whoa. Oh man. Oh man. Here we go. Ready. Ready. Oh, hang on. That rolls. That rolls. Oh wow. And here comes the final. Here we go. Squish. Oh wow. Oh my god. Yes. Oh man. I think I just ate a buck but it's okay. That was part of the joker's jinxing us. Oh man. Ready. Rigging, digging, digging, digging. Yay. Whoo. Oh man. Here we go. This is running great. Oh wow. All right. Get ready for it. We're going to have another upside down roar. Ready. Whoo. Oh man. Yay. We're roaring. Ready. We'll do our best roar. Ready. One, two, three, roar. Okay. Yeah. Yes. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I mean, what would you expect from us? All right. Here we are. We're at roar at Six Flags America. This is like a traditional real wooden roller coaster. Look, it's got that real wooden roller coaster sound. You're listening to it everybody. It is not an RMC. Not that we mind when a wooden roller coaster gets RMC'd but this one is still in its original true form. Roar at Six Flags America. Is this a hang on our hands up? I'm holding on. I'm going to do hands up. All right. I don't know. The camera will be fine. Yay. Oh. Wait. I've got a little bit of air time there. It's running pretty good. Oh man. This is running pretty good. Oh. Oh god. Here we go. Oh. It's bouncy. Ready. There we go. Yay. I love me. Oh man. Oh yeah. And a nice pop into the brakes. Yay. We roared. Roar. See again. Oh hello being them thing over here. That was not used to be a stand up. Now it is no longer stand up. Now it's something else. Oh there it goes. The floor. All right. Here we go. We are on Firebird at Six Flags America. Now I've got some fun facts for this one. This actually came from Six Flags Great America where it was actually the end for a stand up roller coaster. If they got moved here to Six Flags America they came apocalypse then that lasted a little bit. Now rebranded change from a So season you've learned something tonight. Hopefully, if you already knew that, it's good for you. Okay, so here we go. We are almost at the top here in Firebird. I'm going to try to keep my feet out, but you can see it is very horrible. Let's keep the track is right there. Yay! Oh! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh look at Sean the age a little bit there. That's alright. We got this. We got this. Okay. Ready! Nice and gentle. Uh oh. Here comes the horse race.
Oh! Oh, fun! Oh, fun! Yeah! Oh, fun! There's a fire! There's a fire! A fire on the firebird! Oh, oh, oh! The evening! There was the evening! Oh, into the breaks! Alright, here's another one. I'll roll the coasters and set it a little bit longer. I've got to put it another can you preach that? You know, when they strap you in like this like this well they got a lot more than the seat belt, right? And they strap you in all that kind of stuff and you're twisting, you're turning and you're going all that which way. You have to trust what's holding you. Amen, isn't that true with God? You got to trust what's holding you. You have to trust his word is holding you. You've got to trust that he is crazy, madly and lovely with you and he is not mad. Actually, you've got to trust. When life is twists and turns and throwing you upside down, who is holding you? And that his strength, man, is 10,000 times better than we could ever begin to imagine. So in the same way, when they strap them in all that kind of stuff they trust in that, man trusts that God is holding you in every season, every situation, make up your mind. No matter what, I'm going to trust him. No matter what, I'm going to serve him. No matter what, man, I'm still going to row that when I stand before him, I will hear well done, good and faithful servant. If you've never put your trust in him, I'm encouraging you. Maybe today's the day you give your life to Christ. I almost said Pedro. That's a high school here in town. Pando. Pando makes it incredibly easy. There's a button right below me walks you through. If you've never given your life to Christ, it's a big decision, life changing decision, but it's where you can trust, man. Something has me bigger than myself and my surroundings. And it is the creator, Yahweh. All right, everyone. Here we go. We are on Professor Sremor Skywinder, right? Yes. Skywinder here at Six Flags America. Am I correct in saying that this ride is themed to a crashed derigable, right? It seems on point. So we are, we are, the theme is that Professor Sremor has crashed his derigable into the Skywinder, and this is his flying machine, right? That is correct. Okay, crashed derigable, SLC, and here we go, guys. Oh man. Are you concerned? Yes. It's fine. It's a crashed derigable. It's smooth with the nicer strength. It's good to go. Professor Sremor, is this the winding part? Hooray. Yay. We Skywinded. I mean, on the positive side, we did not crash a derigable. All right, here we go, guys. We're riding Voodoo Drop at Six Flags America. Look, let's see. All the way back. Yay. Look at that. These rides are still a little creepy, right? Yes, they're a lot scary. Okay. This one's cute, though. You can just kind of reach out and pet it. All right, here we go. No, no. Oh, it's going to happen.
Things are going to happen to us soon. - Wait, it was a little one. It was Joey's size. It was so much fun. - Oh, there we do guys out of here. Sit back for life, so you're right. I'll see when you do that. Bye. - All right, guys. So we are here doing Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth. And the only thing holding us in are these little tiny chains right here all the way to the top. Oh, I do love me. Some of these giant swing rods. It gives you a great people apart from up here. They're Superman and Batwing and Joker's Jinx is right below us. Oh, man, I love it. Oh, I do not have a fear of heights, so these rides do not bother me one bit. I do love them though. It's like a really fast observation tower. Again, look at like a nice view. There's wild one on the floor and the SLC. What a great view from up here. Oh, look, they're going through. It's just running. Oh, look, they're racing Joker's Jinx. Oh, man, this just got faster.
I can feel these little tiny chains tightening up. They got faster and faster. We are seeking wind up here as fast as possible. Oh, man. Oh, I love this ride. It's very peaceful. I think these freak out a lot of people. You ought to let us know in the comments if this is a ride you would do or if this freaks you out. And look, this is one that you have to go down and then goes back up again. I love it. On. [indistinct chatter] We got him riding. [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] [indistinct chatter] I don't think so. [indistinct chatter] All right, here we go, guys. We are on Firebird at Six Flags America.
We are taking what could be our very last ride on the world's first B&M. Oh, here we go. It's also good, as well. [indistinct chatter] The old typhoon sea coaster. They used to be up here. In fact, I wonder if you can still yell, if you can still see parts of the old typhoon sea coaster. Good view of the park. Superman, Joker, Ziggs, Batwing. All right, get ready for it. Here we go. World first B&M coaster. Oh, man. [indistinct chatter] It's a little bouncy. [indistinct chatter] Wow. [indistinct chatter] Oh, yeah. [indistinct chatter] It definitely is aged. It's like something. [indistinct chatter] Oh, crap. I'm a friend of this. [indistinct chatter] Oh, that might have hurt just a little bit. (screams)
Oh, wow. Oh my gosh, okay. Oh, we did survive. What could be our last ride on the world's first B&M? Whew. (mumbling) So, for the safety of all guests, it's been all such devices that it's helped you. What was it not like? Six bikes is not responsible for the order, it's lost, it's so important. All right, we're now doing a very back seat of Superman ride of steel here at Six Flags America. If you thought the front seat was wild, which it is, the back seat is even more super. Here we go. Oh, man. I'm gonna miss the back seat of this ride. It's, oh, there's that wing. There's the rest of the train. There's the rest of the park. Yeah, I'm gonna miss this. It's a good view, an awesome ride. I feel like this ride is still held up after, God, what was this? 1999, 2000 was open, maybe 2001. I don't know, here we go. Oh, man, back seat ride, oh my gosh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, man. Superman still has a lot of power. (mumbling)
(mumbling) (mumbling) Ready, everyone, straight, good, straight, good, straight, good. And here we go, airtime, big, big, big, big, big, big. Oh, man, I was out on my seat. And this here, this is my second favorite helix. I'm Superman, it's Six Flags of America. They're holding two, they got a shoes. All right, here we go, guys. It's the Buddy Hill buffet, ready? We won the Scoop of Buddy Hills, and hooray, two scoops. And finally, a third serving. Oh, man, I love it. That is a great ride. All right, here we go, can you preach that? I haven't done any nature in a while, so I figured we would do a little nature hunting where these animals are going after, and here's what I was thinking about. Here's what I was thinking about. Your hunger, if I was to preach that, your hunger dictates your direction. Your hunger dictates your direction. What you are hungry for is eventually what you're gonna find. See, sometimes, man, and I'm just as guilty as this, you get in these cycles of sin, or you get in these cycles of like, man, I don't wanna be like that, or keep falling into that bad habit or whatever it might be. What you're hungry for determines your direction.
So begin to change your hunger. Begin to change your hunger. Begin to feed your heart and his word, man. Begin, go back to the one I did on how to read your Bible. Go back and feed your heart and his word. Let your hunger dictate your direction. If you're a hungry man for the kingdom of darkness, you'll find it, but in the same way, if you're hungry for the kingdom of light, you will find it. You ask, you will receive, seek, you will find. I mean, Jesus, I believe it's not a liar. He's telling the truth and all of it. Your hunger determines your direction. So, so I'm gonna tell you, get hungry for the right things. Get hungry to grow and knowledge. If there's a school you can go to in your camp, in your detention, whatever, man, get in there. If you can get your GED, get it. If you can go for electrical score, HVAC or some of that, do those things, let your hunger for better things in your life matter and let it all be on the foundation of God's word. So, can you preach that? That is how I'd preach it. Your hunger determines your direction, maybe. (dramatic music) That cover blown. (dramatic music)
Escape seems impossible. (dramatic music) (dramatic music) (dramatic music) But these particular fish have a unique ability. (dramatic music) (dramatic music) They're flying fish. (dramatic music) With an extra thrust from their tails, the flying fish get airborne once more. [Music] With a good wind, they can glide for hundreds of meters. [Music] But this is just what the frigate birds have been waiting for. When frigates join the hunt, the flying fish are literally caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. [Music] If the flying fish get too much lift, they become easy prey for the frigates. [Music] If they dive to evade a tax from above, they could fall into the mouths of the Dorado. [Music] At this time of year, polar bears on average succeed only once in 20 hunts. If the hunter is skinny like this one, that may not be often enough. All she can do is keep trying. [Music] To prevent her scent betraying her, she makes a wide sweep to get downwind of the seal. [Music] Getting close. [Music] She's now right behind the seal. [Music]
[Music] Incredibly, she caught the seal under water. It's only small, but even so, its blubber alone will contain 100,000 calories, enough to sustain this bear for a week. (somber music) And in that time, she might even catch another. (somber music) But this can't go on forever, as summer continues temperatures are rising. Each hunt requires more energy, draining the bears of their reserves. Food is so hard to find this far north that a wolf pack must search hundreds of square kilometers if it's to be successful. And success means raising the next generation. To do that, here, the wolves must work together. So the young are raised not only by their parents, but by their aunts and uncles as well. Together, they try to ensure that each pup reaches near adult size before the snow returns. The growing pup needs more than just a few leverence. The wolves need bigger prey, and to catch that, they must hunt as a pack. (somber music) (birds chirping) Adult hairs may be easy to spot, but they're far from easy to catch. The wolves run at 60 kilometers an hour. To catch one, the wolves work as a team.
(dramatic music) (dramatic music) (dramatic music) (dramatic music) One of them gets close enough to bite the hare's tail. (dramatic music) But a hare can change direction in an instant. (dramatic music) If it can continue to sidestep and jink, it may ultimately outlast them. (dramatic music) Finally, it gets away. (dramatic music) An armpit desert, one of the most exposed places on earth. (dramatic music) As the sun climbs high, everybody takes cover from the extreme heat. (dramatic music) Everybody accept the hot rod ant. (dramatic music) As others take refuge, their day is just beginning. (dramatic music) Cleaning out the nest. The sand can reach a scorching 70 centigrade. The ants' long legs raise their bodies above the surface, where it's 10 degrees cooler. But if they stand still, they will fry. They must keep moving or risk the same fate as their quarry. The creatures that have collapsed from heat stroke,
too deeply buried, but a good place to cool off. Foraging decisions must be fast, too big, perfect, back to the nest before they also die. [MUSIC PLAYING] But they've strayed into a minefield. Each of these strange, cone-shaped pits is a death trap, with a brutal predator at its center. Here lie Antlion larvae, tiny ambush predators with venom-filled pincers. Some ants manage to escape, but the Antlion has other tricks. Flinging sand into the air, it creates an avalanche. In this cone of death, the walls are so angled that the sand slips beneath the ant's feet. As boulders rain from the sky, escape seems almost impossible. [MUSIC PLAYING] Phew. The army ant. This may look like a ball of a million individuals, but make no mistake. The colony acts as one, a super organism with a sensory system of 2 million antennae, a skeleton made from the living bodies of workers, a defense system of soldier ants, ready to act at any sign of danger, a digestive system processing piles of food deep inside, even a coordinated system for dealing with all the waste. These are insects that, by working together, transcend individual size. The colony can search the entire jungle
and flush out its wildlife. Each day, it sends out a silent probe into the forest, a quest of food. It doesn't use scouts like other ants. Instead, a vast search party pushes into virgin territory, seeking out the signs of anything alive. They spread out along the 10-meter front, sweeping across the forest floor. To find prey, the ants must first touch it. It distinguishes the living only by their movement. As long as an animal remains still, it is safe. But the slightest twitch will give it away. Within seconds, the prey is pinned down. Within minutes, it's torn apart at its joints. The more the prey struggles, the more the ants engage. Right across the raid front, prey of all sizes are driven from their hiding places. Even wasps must abandon their homes when the ants arrive. Everything alive in the path of the raiders, overwhelmed by sheer numbers. Hunting is only possible for three hours around low tide when the mud banks are exposed. Raise the sharp oysters cover much of the shore. Beaching here could be lethal. The hunters need to find a stretch of shoreline with just the right slope. To level and the dolphins risk stranding. To steep and they can't force their prey from the water. The dolphins can't force your prey from the water. Working as a team, the dolphins surround the fish, driving them towards the shore. We are going back to the shoreline. Attacking in perfect synchrony, the dolphins create a bow wave. It carries their prey onto the muddy banks. Other fish eaters profit from their daring.
Herons and gulls follow every hunt. To get to the fish first, the dolphins drive themselves high up the bank. But if they go too far, they risk stranding. To prevent fish escaping between them, the dolphins all reach themselves on the same side. Always the right. But this has a cost. Each time they grab a fish, they also take in a mouthful of mud. The grit gradually wears down their teeth. But on one side only. In time, these teeth get so worn down that older dolphins can no longer hunt like this and must find other ways to catch fish. So some people start a service business and they absolutely crush it. They make great money. They build and something that changes their life. But for every single one of those success stories, there are people that completely and utterly fail. They lose money, they burn out, and they end up going back to whatever it was that they were doing before. Because starting a business, it isn't easy. And running a business is even harder. And actually becoming successful takes a different breed of person. And the truth is, anybody can start a business. But very few people can actually make it in that business. And that's why picking the right business, understanding your market and treating it like a real business makes all of the difference in the world. And here's the thing, you don't have to do it all by yourself. That whole, I'll figure it out on my own mentality is the fastest way to waste your time and lose your money, okay? Every hour that you spend struggling
to figure out what somebody else has already mastered is money out of your pocket. And the people that are too old school or too stubborn to accept guidance usually end up paying for it in lost opportunities, or end up being 60, 65 years old in basically the same place, grinding it out day and night. And the truly successful business owners figure out how to leave the grind behind building systems, building teams that can eventually work in the field by themselves as opposed to having the babysit those people every single day of the year. Now, the smarter move is to find somebody that you can trust, somebody that will offer you help, will offer you guidance. So I would highly suggest finding maybe a local mentor, connect with people who have already been where you're trying to go or join a group that is open-minded and willing to share real helpful information, their experiences, their knowledge because education and research, these are not optional in business, okay? It is absolutely critical that you invest in your education, do your research. These are the things that are gonna set you apart. That's why we've created a bunch of different resources for several of the businesses that we're gonna talk about today. You can skip the guesswork,
you can avoid the bad advice that you're gonna get online, and you can get straight to what actually works in the real world. With that foundation laid, let's dive into the ranking. So number 10 is trash bin cleaning. This one is still a relatively newer niche, but it is growing and it's growing fast. The startup cost can run from five to 10,000 for the right pro-grade trailer setup, but you can also get started with a cheap pressure washer, a pump-up sprayer with the right combination of chemicals, and a truck for a lot less. But customers will pay anywhere from 35 to $75 per cleaning per can. But I do caution everyone in any industry, pump the brakes on big equipment purchases right out of the gate. The last thing that you wanna do is figure out that this isn't the right business for you. It's not a good fit, the market isn't there. And then you have to lose big when you sell off the equipment that you purchase. But this is a viable business if you do it the right way, and the real strength is in the recurring revenue. If you can get into neighborhoods or HOAs, you get those folks signed up and it's gonna be a lot easier. And if you can't do that, it does get a little bit harder to scale fast, which is why it's down here at number 10. But once routes are built, it is consistent
and it can be very profitable. Number nine is parking lot sweeping. Now, this one is a commercial play, right? Contracts with shopping centers and office parks, it's gonna keep you busy year round. The equipment though, it is not cheap. 10 to $25,000, depending on the sweeper that you buy. But you are trading that for steady income, steady repeat income. And one sweep might be, you know, $100 to $200. But when you've got multiple commercial contracts, that really does start to stack up and it's recurring. And that is a great business model that we all should love. I've also seen guys start with backpack blowers, the goat blowers. And while it's not nearly as fast or efficient, it might be the smart move if you're just getting started. Build a customer base and scale the equipment as your business grows. Number eight is a little different and this is a remote service business. This is different because instead of buying equipment and hiring employees or doing the work yourself, you generate high value leads and then you sell those leads to other contractors in your market. Start-up costs are really nothing if you do it organically with social media posts, building out websites and cold calling. I have personally watched this work in real time.
In fact, my son watched me run multiple businesses as he was growing up. He worked in the businesses as well. So he had a good understanding, a good foundation of what it takes and what we did to generate leads. And when he went away to college, he decided to start running some ads and he started generating some leads and he started building relationships with local contractors and then he started selling them those leads. He didn't have to buy equipment, hire employees, He just did the selling and the marketing. He also built a remote service business academy to help walk you, if this is something you're interested in, through a step-by-step blueprint of his system, where you connect customers to providers and you take your percentage. Now, before we move on, I wanna make something very, very clear. No matter which business that you choose, you need to actually run it like a business. Every single one of these requires you to track your customers, send professional estimates, create invoices, and obviously, you need to get paid. And that's why I suggest you get a good CRM, something like quote IQ, obviously I'm biased, but it's got everything that you need from the basics to the advanced features. Things like Insta-quote, Insta-schedule, the review multiplier, route optimization,
automated email and text pipelines, all of the things that you need to actually run your business like a business. You could try to juggle all of that manually, but if you truly wanna be successful, you need a system in place, and that's why I recommend using quote IQ. And the best part, you don't have to take my word for it, we have a 14-day free trial, so you can test it out for yourself at microdikue.com. And number seven on the list is window cleaning. Now, this one, you can technically start for really next to nothing, a mop of squeegee, some towels, it can get you going. Now, the process itself isn't terribly difficult, but here is the reality. Technique and experience play a massive role in efficiency and profitability. I've seen pro-level window cleaners knock out an entire house in the same amount of time that it took a beginner to do a couple windows. It is truly a real art form. And if you've ever seen somebody who's actually mastered it, you know exactly what I'm talking about. So for equipment, training, resources, check out the window cleaning resource or the WCR. I have no affiliation with these guys other than just being a satisfied customer, which takes us to number six, and that is lawn care. Now, I actually had a lawn care business,
we ran it for 12 years before selling it, and the work itself is easy. You're mowing, you're trimming, you're blowing, but running it like a real business is the real challenge for most people, and that's why they don't grow, that's why they don't scale, and that's why they go away. Startup cost can be as much as five to $15,000 for your mower, your trailer, and all the gear that you need, and that's without a truck. But you can start with the push mower, a string trimmer, and a broom. Again, efficiency is critical, route density, and optimization are equally important. And because the jobs are smaller, it could usually 50 to 90 bucks a yard, so you're gonna need some volume. 10 to 15 stops in a day is gonna get you to that $1,000 mark. But here's the mistake that most new lawn care guys make. They undercharge, they undervalue themselves, and they don't make any real money. So you need to know your market, you need to know your worth, and you need to price accordingly, and understand that customer acquisition is as important as clean lines and crisp edges. So number five on the list is junk removal. Now, this is a pretty quick cash generator. Startup costs really can range on this one, obviously.
You can do it with just a pickup for smaller jobs, and if you wanna scale your business, you're gonna need to get into some bigger trailers, you're gonna need some help doing this on the bigger jobs. Now, jobs can pay anywhere from three to $800, depending on the scope, the size, and the scale of these jobs. And if you get two or three in a day, you are gonna clear a thousand bucks easy. Now, the downside is the physical labor and the disposal fees. So, you gotta be prepared, you have to know what you're getting into, and you also need to track your numbers and know your costs, or you could be losing or wasting money. But if you're a market, but if you market your business to the right people, you work hard to generate lead flow, the demand is always gonna be there. It's just about getting those customers able to find you. But like any business, if you wanna make money like a legit business, you need to run it like a legit business. Number four is holiday lighting. Now, this one, it's highly seasonal for obvious reasons, but if you play it right, you can make more money in two months than some businesses make all year. Start-up costs, they're gonna vary from anywhere from two to $5,000 for the ladders, the clips,
and the lights, maybe you got some of this, that's gonna cut down on those costs. But these jobs, you can require deposits to help cover any kind of upfront costs, right? Pre-sell a few jobs, take those deposits, buy the things that you need to get the jobs done, and then reinvest, okay? Installs range from $1,000 to $3,500, and they can climb from there for bigger residential jobs for commercial jobs. And if you can do a couple of these a day, and you can do several of these in a single day, and like all of these businesses, customer acquisition is the key here. It's much easier if you've already got an existing service business, and then you can leverage your existing customer base, because we all know that they probably trust you if you did a good job and they're way easier to upsell. My buddy Glenn did exactly this. but it started to slow down for him in the winter months. So he added Christmas light installs a couple of years ago and now he doesn't even stress about the winter slowdown. He also put together the Christmas light boot camp, which covers everything from the installs, the equipment, the marketing, the sales, everything that you need to know in order to hit the ground running this season. I put a link down below if you're interested in checking that out.
Now, number three is pressure washing. Obviously, this one is close to home for me. I've been running a pressure washing business for over 20 years and I know the ins and the outs. And startup costs can vary, just like every business that we've talked about. A nice setup that can get you started can be had for between two and 10 grand, right? More if you go all in from the start and then the jobs they average for residential from anywhere like 300 to 1200 bucks for just residential, like I said, but then you have your upsells, like driveways, patios, gutter cleanings, you can add window cleaning. A big one is roof cleaning, huge profits there. And it's very easy to hit a thousand dollars a day in this type of business. It's one of the best starter businesses out there in my opinion, which is why we put together how to wash two, which covers everything that you need to know on both commercial and residential properties in detail. Everything that I've learned over two decades, the chemicals, the processes, the equipment, how to do it right, how to do it fast and how to make the most money. The link is below if you're serious about pressure washing, but remember that you need to do your market research. Do things the right way and understand
that the work itself is nowhere near as difficult as establishing a legitimate business that is sustainable, which brings us to number two on our list, which is line striping. This one's a hidden gem. Start-up cost can be as little as a paint roller, a pole, some tape and some paint, and then you can scale up to anywhere from four to $15,000 for like a professional line striping machine, the paint, the stencils, the things that get it done fast, efficiently and profitably. But jobs, these jobs, they pay big, 1500 to 5,000 per project. My buddy, Chris, he went from making minimum wage to running multiple crews across multiple states, tackling huge jobs, and he's absolutely crushing it, but it wasn't easy. He didn't have a blueprint when he started. He had to learn everything the hard way, and that is why he created how to stripe. So you don't have to reinvent the wheel. He lines out everything. So you don't have to reinvent the wheel. This is the most in-depth training that you can possibly get in line striping. So if you're interested, there's a link down below for that as well. Now, number one, this is seal coating. Now, seal coating is another hidden gem. Start-up costs are between five to 20,000
for your tank, your sprayer, and your trailer. Projects average anywhere from two to $7,000, and the profit margins, they are fantastic. It works great as a standalone business, but it also pairs perfectly with line striping. Both residential and commercial properties need this service. There are lots of upsells here as well, like crack filling, gator patching, and line striping after the job is done. And like many of these businesses we talked about today, it is recurring. Now, it's not every week, it's not every month, or even every year, but when you get in, you do it right, you stay in front of the customers until they need you again. If this sounds like something that you are interested in, Chris actually just put together how to seal coat, which is hands down the best training if you wanna get started in this field. It highlights every aspect of the business, the equipment, the procedures, the processes, laid out in a blueprint that is easy to understand, easy to follow, easy to learn. And there you have it. Those are the top 10 service businesses that can make you a thousand dollars a day, or more if you run them the right way. Some of these are easier to start than others. Some require more investment than others, but every single one has the potential
if you are willing to put in the work. Now, these opportunities are real, the money is out there. Anyway, we appreciate you guys watching the video. If you've got any questions, leave them in the comments section down below, and we'll see you on the next one. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) [BLANK_AUDIO]
