What You Hear
WARNING! This is a fun episode!
What you hear has a way of shaping how you live.
In Hebrews 11:7, Noah heard something from God that he had never seen before, but he trusted God enough to move. He built because he heard. His faith was not simply something he believed internally. What Noah heard from God eventually became something he did.
In this episode, Trevor explores the powerful connection between what we continually listen to and the direction our lives begin to move. The conversations around us, the voices we give access to, the negativity we absorb, the encouragement we receive, and especially the voice of God can all influence what grows in us and eventually comes out through our choices.
Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and that means it matters what has your ear. Sometimes God speaks through Scripture, worship, a sermon, a conversation, or one of those small nudges in your heart that simply says, “What if I took this step?” Maybe it is forgiving someone. Maybe it is going back to school, getting healthy, serving someone, pursuing something legitimate, encouraging somebody who is struggling, or finally giving your life completely to Jesus.
The step may feel small, but Noah reminds us that obedience often begins by trusting God with what we can hear before we can see what He is building.
No matter where you are or what season you are in, faith still works there. Pay attention to what you are hearing, pay attention to what God may be stirring in you, and then trust Him enough to take the next step.

Uh, I've known her for years. She has battled cancer several times. Uh, and she passed away, went home to be with the Lord this past Sunday. And so we have some funeral stuff that's happening all week and long. That's kind of messing, I shouldn't say messing. Oh, that's not the right word. Um, it's changing my schedule, right?
So things are shifting or having to shift. And sometimes that's just how life goes. So today I'm going to kind of just put some longer clips on there. Not as many how you preach that videos. Um, you are always asking, always asking for car shows. So I'm going to give you one of those at a Texas, uh, today, but speaking of Texas, speaking of old Texas, number one, hook them horns, baby. Number one, hook them horns. Uh, number two, uh, would be as I am coming out there, actually, let me pull up. Hold on. All right. So let me just give you some new, uh, tour dates that are happening. Uh, if you want me to come to your work camp, your jail, your prison, whatever might be, you need to have three things. Number one, the chaplain needs to be on board. Number two, administration needs to be on board. Number three, probably most importantly, the warden needs to be on board. So have your chaplain reach out to me [email protected] that is info, I N F O at champion church.cc email us, let us know. We'll see if we can make it. If you can get me in, I made this promise. I'll come out there. Now when that might be, it's probably a couple of months down the road, unless you're in Florida. So all my Florida volunteer stuff just went through. Oh, I got that PR, I M E, that future freeze, baby. Um, but anyhow, my Florida state of Florida volunteer stuff all went through this past week. And so unless you're in Florida, I can do some, those are a little easier, quick hits, especially if you're within driving distance to St.

Castor doing, uh, there's revival services happening that week. I'm kicking it off. I think I'm kicking it off or maybe the second night, whatever on November 2nd. And then November 4th, I'm flying out there to South Texas, baby. I'm coming out to Raymondville, Texas with the will of C will, will AC, will ACY unit that's November 4th, November 5th and 6th. I'll be in Segovia and in Lopez. I'm not sure which one is which. I need to probably figure that out. Uh, and then November 30th, I'm coming out to Kingman Correctional in Arizona. And then we're waiting for my stuff to clear in Texas and it looks like I'll be flying down to Houston, uh, coming out, uh, to what was the different ones down there? Styles and there was somewhere else I am forgetting off the top of my head. So if you have a prison that's in the Houston area, that might be the time that we, that first week of November. And then it looks like, I don't want to say too early, but I'm going to say, because I'm excited, it looks like I'm coming out to Mac Alfred around, uh, mid December out there in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains. Um, I wish I could sing, but I can't. Anyhow, I'm excited going to have fun. I think that's it for today. I don't have any letters or pictures or anything. Cause I want to say I've not been by the mailbox, uh, to get any of them. Um, and, uh, yeah, I think that's about it. Let's jump in, let's have some fun ladies and gents, man, let's have some fun. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Let's jump into it. Hebrews, Chapter 11, verse 7 says this, "By faith Noah." "By faith Noah." Now let me just stop there for just a second. Noah shows up. I'm just going to read this off my notes for a second time. Noah shows up in Genesis during a time when the world has become deeply violent and corrupt. alright so he says listen there's a flood coming and instructs him to build an ark the problem is this rain had not happened on the earth yet right so for him to build an ark for him to build a boat away from the water really didn't make much sense at all but that was the part of faith that was the part of trusting in God that's what Hebrews 11 is all about trusting in God that he is who he says he is and he will do what he said he's going to do and he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him right and we've talked about that a ton over the last few weeks but Noah he doesn't even know what God's really describing but he's taking a step in faith and that's always oftentimes how it happens we don't even really know sometimes what God has planned for us down the road but right now we know enough to say you know what I'm going to take a step in faith and I'm going to trust him because he is faithful he always has been he always will be Hebrews 13 8 tells us that he is the same yesterday today and forever right alright so he says listen Noah this is going to happen Noah has no idea no idea what he's talking about like that old what's that band let me find it let me find it ladies and gents what's that band that they ask about rain they ask if you've seen rain before anybody know what I'm talking about have you seen rain what was that song I know so on right now screaming at the the old credence clear water revival right it has revived on the in the name which is cool right so let's let's just listen to it I'm just in the mood to listen to music ladies and gents let's just listen to it oh yeah oh yeah that guitar so nice it just feels so peaceful oh here it comes here comes ladies and gents they told him a while ago oh yeah he knows it's been coming for some time with it's over so let's say oh yeah the rain
is over the day I know he knows shining down like water I just feel like these are needed so great question all right so you get the point now there's here's the thing Noah would been able to say no actually I have not seen the rain I have no idea what you're talking about right because it had not rained on the earth yet so again God tells him to do something because of something that is coming but Noah has no idea this is the massive step of faith that he takes so by faith Hebrews 11 7 tells us Noah chose to trust God at his word and to build now the story goes the flood comes his family is preserved in Hebrews 11 it looks back at him as a man who heard from God who trusted God and acted on what he heard and that's actually what I want you to see in the next part of Hebrews 11 7 it says by faith Noah being divinely warned of things not yet seen moved with godly fear and prepared an ark for the saving of his household this is what I wanted you to get if you take a note here's what I want you to write down what we constantly hear determines what we do what we constantly hear this where we're going to have fun ladies and gents what we constantly hear determines what we do I was saying about this the other day there's got to be some type of science behind it and there is I found some online of a university that did a study that they said this our auditory system and our motor system in our life are connected meaning what you hear determines what you do our auditory system and our motor system so what we hear determines eventually how we move and this is the same with Noah what Noah heard determined what he did that's that's why sometimes you might hear music and just something about it you just your body starts to move you ever thought about what you constantly if you constantly hear outrage you're eventually going to be angry if you constantly hear negativity eventually negativity is going to come back out of you what you constantly hear determines what in your brain and eventually happens in your life or out of your body, does that make sense? That's why you start hanging around people who are reading books, guess what you're gonna be doing? Going down to the library there in your camp or your prison or your detention center and getting a book and reading a book, right? Like I don't know why I'm saying book like that,

So what's the easy, we're gonna do more of these, we're gonna have fun with these in just a minute. What's the preaching point, Trevor? I'm glad you asked. Here's the thing, what you're constantly listening to is eventually gonna come out. If you're out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, well, how do things get into the heart because things are sewn into your heart by what you're listening to, reading to,
putting into your life from around you. That's why it does matter what conversations you're having with your friends. That's why it does matter the conversations that you are constantly a part of. Is it life giving or is it life draining from you? This isn't something to be like, "Oh, where I'm holier than now," or to be legalistic. But sometimes we just gotta pay attention to, Are they building me up? Are they building the people around me up? Are they sewing good seeds into my heart? Because what you hear eventually is exactly what you are going to do. I heard this my whole life growing up in church from my pastor's again. Show me the five people you hang around the most and I'll show you your future. Why? Because what you hear determines what you do. And if all you hear is what they are talking about, I'm not saying it's bad. It actually might be good, but it's a good thing to run an assessment. What am I constantly hearing? Is it building me up? Am I constantly hearing about the goodness of God? Am I constantly hearing that? You know what? God still has plans and purposes for me.
Now here's the thing, if you constantly hear, well that's a load of, I got to be careful with my word, a load of mess or that's not true or that's cliche. Well of course you're not going to believe it because what you're hearing is negativity and it would eventually move you in negativity. Do you see the point that I'm making? That's why just being in the light and the darkness is so important. Sometimes it's just the conversations you have. Sometimes it's just how you build up other people without an agenda. Sometimes it's just, man, you know what? I'm going to have faith talk, not fear talk. I'm going to have faith talk, not negative talk, man. I'm going to speak in faith. Even if things don't look like how I want them to look, I'm going to speak in faith because I know what I hear determines what I do. Romans 10, 17 will tell this. So faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Now here's the thing, I believe you have faith in something. Now obviously I'm a Jesus guy, I'm biased here, of course. I hope that you are too. Maybe this is what you need to hear. Maybe you watch this ridiculous dude. Someone said, this guy's having fun. Play him music, being ridiculous. But you needed to hear this moment right here.
That man, God is pulling on your heart. Maybe this is what you need to hear that determines what you do. That God is not a man at you. He is madly in love with you. Now does that change, maybe mistakes you've done? No, is that going to change, maybe the sentence you have? Probably not. But what it can do is change who you are right now and how you spend the rest of your days in your life. Where you don't have to constantly be that negative, dark, evil, but whatever word you want to put in there, that there is new life in Christ. And I'm literally just begging you. Take that step. He says we are new creations in Christ Jesus. He is not mad at you, friend. He's madly in love with you. And he literally left heaven and came to earth for you. And so many others have already taken this step with him because it's real. The first step if you never have, there's a button right below me that Pando makes it incredibly easy to give your life to Christ. And then you could write your testimony there. I read all of those. And so I really, really, really appreciate. Oh, someone did say the other day. The guy said, how did he put it?
He said, why don't I talk on tithing? And the thing is what he's saying? Well, like, because I think in this scenario, it's not always appropriate to, but is tithing real? Absolutely, it is real. It's a biblical order that is laid out and a command by God that we are supposed to do with our money that we make. All right, now, what he made is a great point though, is how churches, you know, the reason we were to tithe was not just for the church and that was 100% right. It was so that there would be resources in the church to help other people. And I can say this, I can't speak for every of the church. I know there's a lot of great churches here on Pando. A lot of great ministries here on Pando that are completely funded by people donating or people tithing, right? We are one of those, but I will say this, I can say confidently at champion in this way, that we bring the resources in and we try to give every single bit of that out. Every single week, some of y'all have been homeless and ran into people that know me here in St. Augustine. And you've received a blessing because somebody at Champion Church ties, right? So I'm just, I know it's a little bit off course, but the guy did ask me that question of why I don't talk about it
and how it's supposed to be churches bringing in resources to bless other people. Again, I can't speak for other churches. I can only speak for champion. That is exactly what we do. Exactly what we do is that we give away just as much as we spend on making a Sunday morning happen. If you're ever wondering how, if you have family members that wanna see how we give, you obviously won't be able to do this, where you are sitting on the internet on championchurch.cc/give at the bottom and shows how we spend all of our money. We're very open with it because we have nothing to hide and we actually love blessing other people. If we didn't, I wouldn't be able to do this. And I'll say this, when I go to prisons, Champion Church isn't paying for that. My wife and I are paying for every bit of that because I feel like it's something we are supposed to do, which is to go and visit those that are in prison. If you can get me in to speak, I love to, often we do it like in bigger chapel service or gathering services, that kind of stuff. If your chaplain wasn't make that happen, I already told you how to do that. Okay, back to what you hear determines what you do. That's what I want you to get, man. Pay attention to what you're listening to. It matters.
That fruit is going to come out of your life. But I also want you to pay attention to this. It says, "By faith Noah was divinely, Noah was divinely warned, and then he built what he heard, determines what he did. Here's the point I want to make. Pay attention to moments. Maybe when you're listening to worship music here on the Pando app, maybe when you're in a chapel service, and God puts these little, oh, I know how to say it, these little nudges in your heart, these little like, maybe you should do this, like maybe it's, I say it like this. You're rated in moments where you're focusing on God, and we should have them every single day, where we focus on God, we spend our alone time with God in his word or in a book, watching a sermon, watching a podcast, whatever, where we are focusing on what the Lord is saying. Pay attention to the little nudges in your heart, these little God ideas, these little God kind of pushing things where he'll do. And what he is doing in that moment is he's asking you to take a small step of faith, because he has something big he wants to do in and through you. Did you catch that? Noah being divinely warned. How is he warned? Because God spoke to him because he walked faithfully with him. Genesis 6 and 9 tells us that Noah walked with God. So I know it is walking with God. Now all of a sudden he hears the next step in the plan of what he's supposed to do with our life. Pay attention to those nudges. Thank you for you. It's like, hey, you know what? And faith works in every single season. Some of you know exactly what I'm talking about, man, right now you know God's been pulling on your heart to give your life to him. God's been pulling on your heart to do healthy things instead of still trying to like, what if you took all of the scheming that you're still doing and put it towards something legitimate and put it towards God's kingdom? What could he do in and through you? What you hear determines what you do in faith works in every season. The next part you would see it says that by faith Sarah herself, and then it goes on to tell how she conceived and had faith. Here's what I want to tell you. You've got to have faith for you. Look at the size of the snake. Oh, she's impressed with him. Eight, 19, quarter, 18 foot. - A 19 footer, not quite as large as the legends, but average females are only around 15 feet. She's an incredibly rare monster snake. - Never seen an animal like that, have you? - Now we're just going to shave off a bit of a scale. This won't hurt her, but it will allow us to confirm her age along with other biological data. The average lifespan is about 10 years in the wild, but at her size, I would guess she's much older. Snakes this size are becoming increasingly rare, and understanding the conditions that allow them to grow so large will aid Juliana's efforts to conserve them. - This is absolutely remarkable. I mean, a truly giant anaconda that we have had the privilege of catching,
so let's do the best we can to get a weight. - We've got a giant bag to weigh her, but she doesn't even come close to fitting in it. - Let's lift from the straps. - Very heavy. Here we go. One, two. - Three. - I want two 20, two 20, eight, two. (laughs) - Sorry. - We didn't even get her whole body off the ground. - All right. - So easy to say. She's about 300 pounds snake. We're going to take everybody to hold her plate. - Look at the size of this animal. Easily 300 pounds, and if you guys can hold her, I'll take this off her head and we'll let her go. Everybody ready? Okay. We're going to stretch her out this way. Okay, here we go. We're going to let her go. Off you go, go on. - So I'm ranking nine one-person businesses with one thing in common. They all have to have more demand than competition. now and the one I'd bet my own money on if you say to the end.
Plus, I'm going to reveal the exact first steps to start it this week. Quick disclaimer as well, this video is completely educational. Any numbers are examples or individual results and they're not typical and nothing here is financial advice. I'm not guaranteeing you make even a dollar. So do your own homework. That being said, let's rank some businesses. And one thing before number nine, because the whole title of this video, more demand than the competition, doesn't always mean that nobody's doing it. Sometimes it means almost nobody's doing it, professionally insured, reliably, etcetera. Unmet demand for someone who does it right is still unmet demand. And it's the easiest kind to capture. And as we count down, I'm scoring every business on one more question. And the question is, who's actually doing the work? Now keep that question in your head and watch what happens to the rankings as we go on. That being said, let's get into it number nine. Now bear with me on this one because it might be the single most unglamorous business on this list. Frankly, it's actually quite disgusting. And that's exactly why almost nobody's competing for it or at least actively waking up thinking, huh, you know what? I want to start this kind of business. Now every active construction site is legally required to have sanitation on site for the entire length of the build, which means as long as there's construction happening in your city or even events, also there are guaranteed months long rental contracts sitting there. And they're waiting on somebody to service them. And when you add in weddings, festivals and outdoor events, you can also book units for a single weekend when you factor those in. And then you've got two very different customers paying for the same exact asset. On top of this, these businesses are owned and serviced by just a small handful of regional
operators. And nobody's really actively like wanting to think about servicing these units. Not only that, but it also has real recurring revenue. So when you land construction contracts, those will run you depending on the size of the building six to 18 months, and you get to bill a monthly per unit on top of a weekly service visit to pump all the nasty stuff out, restock it. And then let's just say you potentially land some humongous job where, you know, you have to place let's say 20 units on active job sites, that's going to be a very, very large recurring monthly base of revenue for a really long time that continues to come in. So that being said, why does it sit so high at number nine? Well, it's exactly what it sounds like you or your crew are the ones that are doing the pump outs, the restocks driving to and from the different locations to place the porta pottys or the rentals. And the units themselves also are a real upfront asset cost. You do have to purchase those. So you will need some startup capital for this when you're starting out from scratch. It is going to be the least glamorous job on the entire list by a wide margin. So bottom line, this is probably the ugliest business on the whole list, but it's one of the most recession proof and construction and events don't stop needing this just because nobody wants to be the one doing it. They have to literally pay for this. Number eight is small engine repair. Now this can print a ton of money per hour and I don't see many people talking about this one on the internet and certainly nobody under 50 is doing it. So if you're younger, want to get into this, it is a great opportunity. But think about things like mowers, generators, chainsaws, line striping machines, pressure washers, you know, you name it. On top of this, every household has a landscaping crew or just something with a small engine. And when it breaks, there's no national one company you can call for this. It's a skilled trade that not many people know exists or that you can just call because
not many people deal with their small engines breaking down. But I promise you, all these contractors I just listed that usually specialized tools will need to call these types of companies. Myself included when we were running our pressure washing and window cleaning business, our pressure washer would break down at least once every few months and I would take it to the same spot every time to fix the engine. And I'll be straight about the competition because I want this list accurate. It's not that nobody actually fixes small engines. It's that almost nobody does as a real business with fast turnaround with, you know, an actual shop you can pull up to drop your machines off, you know, be reliable and the one who actually calls back the same day. If you do all of that, then all of that demand is yours. There's contractors in every major or micropolitan area across the United States. So you have no problem getting customers. Frankly, this is a great business. There's just two main problems that keep this at number eight. One is the labor and the trade takes real time to learn, right? And two on top of this, it's lumpy. You know, if during the winter, not many people are providing service, you don't have a lot of engines to fix, you know, the seasonality that you're going to deal with as a outside outdoors contractor for home services, let's say, you're going to definitely feel that if that's who you're selling to during the slower winter months. Bottom line, this is excellent dollars per hour for a real skilled trade. And it's one of the weakest kind of build a real business plays on the list and it can be a great cash flow machine, if you're willing to actually come at it from a business perspective. Number seven is fire extinguisher testing and servicing. Now, I'm sure everybody watching this has seen the little tag hanging off of every fire extinguisher and every business you've ever worked. somebody probably services this and gets paid. But that's exactly right. Somebody gets paid to hang that tag and almost nobody watching this has ever thought about who. Now, every office,
restaurant, warehouse, apartment building, I mean, you name it is legally required to get its extinguishers inspected on a set schedule. And it is not a suggestion. Fire marshals will check for that tag. And that makes it one of the few home service style businesses where the lot self is doing your sales pitch for you. And it's almost entirely handled by a handful of small regional inspectors that nobody's ever heard of. So it's a super fragmented space because there's no one consumer brand for the way there is for say like pest control or lawn care. And on top of this, you have a built in subscription business that is backed by, you know, hey, if I don't have an apartment building and I'm not getting this checked, I'm going to get fined. So I'd rather pay for the service than to pay some type of fine that's probably going to cost me way more. And once you get in with, you know, a building's annual inspection schedule, you're back every single year, tag after tag, you could have multiple fire extinguishers in one building for as long as that business or that building exists. And then slowly over time, as you build up a route of a few hundred accounts, you're going to start to add some seriously occurring revenue. There's a ton of fire inspection businesses that do millions and tens of millions a year. And none of it is at risk of walking to a competitor because switching inspectors means that you're reexplaining your whole building to somebody new. So why only seven? Why is this so high still? Sounds like a great business. Because this is a business that's like, it's not super high ticket. So you're gonna have to build a really big route. And so you're gonna have to sell a lot. And it's commercial selling. So you have long sales cycles. And so it does take time to build that up. Bottom line though, I'm, I'm willing to bet my bottom dollar that almost nobody clicking on this video is ever even considered this. And you're backed by a law that forces the sale every single year. I mean, it really doesn't get much better than that. Now we get to number six, which is commercial dock and door equipment service. And this is one that I guarantee you've probably never thought about. And it's kind of similar to the one I did just talk about. But it ties directly to a boom that you can see happening in your own city right now. So look at every warehouse distribution center, grocery loading dock running on dock levers, roll up doors, dock seals, all of those things on top of the equipment in order to make that stuff run that gets slammed hundreds of times a day and breaks constantly. So when a bay goes down, that warehouse can't load or unload trucks. So operators pay premium rates for same day repair. There's no, not a single national chain doing this. It is largely like a lot of the other businesses I'm talking about on here, which they're going to be fragmented. And there's, you know, different
smaller regional players that cover each metro. And most people are guaranteed driven past their unmarked vans 1000 times without ever wondering what they do. And it's got a really strong recurring revenue component to it where warehouses will sign preventative maintenance contracts so that you can get on a quarterly inspection schedule to check out every single door and lever specifically so they don't get caught with a dead loading bay during their busy shipping weeks. Now, let's say you land 20 warehouse accounts on a quarterly service plan at call it a few hundred bucks a visit. And that's before you ever factor in the emergency calls from those same accounts that come in at premium rates because it's an emergency and they'll pay any amount done. You've got a really decent solid business with not a ton of competition in most markets. Now, why is this ranked at six? Because this one takes a lot of electrical and hydraulic know how it can get really dangerous. It's like garage doors on steroids where they've got motors, sensors, safety systems. So I would even consider it a skilled trade. And it's still your hands doing the diagnosing and the fixing unless you go and buy a business in this space. And so bottom line, this entire industry is running behind every warehouse in the country that almost nobody watching this is ever even thought about. And it grows every single year. The warehouse boom keeps going. So as more people buy more things on the internet, then the bigger this market grows. So number five is waste oil collection recycling. Now this one sounds like complete BS and just made up. But after doing my research, you could literally just get paid to drive around and pick up other people's use motor oil. So think like auto shops, restaurant friars, that bacon grease, small manufacturers, these all generate oil in Greece. And that has to be hauled away. You can't just toss the stuff down the drain. It's actually a regulatory requirement. So it's not optional for any of these businesses that produce this kind of stuff. And in most cities, it's handled by again, a small handful of original operators that nobody's ever heard of. The part that makes this more interesting than almost anything else on this list is you can actually take that used oil and resell it. So you can charge the pickup fee, right? But on top of this, you can also take that oil and sell it to re-refiners. So you have two revenue streams off the same route. And most of the country has no idea this industry even exists. And why is this at five? Because... permits to do this legally. You're going to come out of pocket a pretty penny. And then the commodity side means that part of your revenue moves with oil prices instead
of saying flat. So that does fluctuate some. But bottom line, this is definitely one of the least known, strangest recurring route type of businesses in this entire list. And it's one of the only businesses here that pays you actually twice for the same stop. Now that we're about halfway through, remember that question? I told you to ask yourself at the beginning of the video, which is who's actually doing the work. Now those first few businesses I talked about, you're pretty much starting from scratch doing all of the labor yourself, doing all the work. You essentially are going to own a job for a little bit before you build the proper systems in place to remove yourself and you can hire skilled labor to do the stuff that you no longer want to do. Or that's just not worth your time. So you can move from working in the business to working on the business. Now these next few businesses I'm going to talk about are businesses where you run the operation and work on the business day one instead of in the business day one. And starting off at business number four is one of the coolest businesses I've seen and nobody on YouTube, you've never heard of this business, I promise. It's truck driver recruiting. Now truck driver companies run on razor thin margins and an empty truck sitting in a lot without a qualified driver behind the wheel is bleeding that company money every day it's parked. Now I talked to somebody actually who does this and he told me that carriers lose about $4,000 a month per truck that's not on the road simply because they can't find qualified drivers. And that's why they'll pay a placement fee of up to $4,000 for every qualified driver you bring them who gets hired and stays on. And this is an amazing way to take advantage of the trucking and overall logistics industry
without ever having to drive a truck or own a truck or come out of pocket to do that. All you need to learn how to do is run Facebook ads targeting CDL holders and owner operators who are looking for better freight and who want to make some more money and maybe a route closer to home, I mean there's a lot of reasons why people would switch or want to get placed in the companies you're going to sell to. You do have to make sure they have a valid CDL clean record and actual experience before you can hand them over to an actual trucking company and get paid. But your only real out of pocket cost is the ad spend it takes to generate applicants. And let me tell you recruiting ads on Facebook or some of the easiest ads to run you're going to get very, very cheap leads. And if you place 10 qualified drivers a month even at half the top of what someone's willing to pay, I mean you're looking at like what 20 grand a month. And if you work with more than one carry or you're not stuck depending on a single company's hiring pace, especially if you land a really large one or even a few large ones, this can scale into a really big business. But why I keep this at four is because this is a placement and staffing business. It's not a subscription. So you're constantly selling and hunting for new deals all the time. And if you ever have slow month or your pipelines a little lighter than the month before and you still have costs in the business, well that's going to impact the bottom line and it can become very stressful when you have to hunt and restart from day one over and over again. But this is by far the purest like laptop style business on the list because you don't have any need for labor inventory leases. All you really need is a Facebook ad account. Now business number three is non emergency medical transportation and almost nobody outside of healthcare has really heard of this one either. It might actually be the stickiest recurring business on this entire list because millions of people need a ride to dialysis, chemo, medical, random medical appointments and they just simply cannot drive themselves.
And in most cases, the ride itself is going to be billed to Medicaid or insurance. And because this business runs through insurance, you can actually charge higher prices. So don't compare this to like what you're going to get paid if you sign up and drive for Uber. But as an example, like the recurring component, right? How is this recurring? Well, let's say a dialysis patient needs a ride three times a week every week for years. Well, then you've got some like really sticky repeat revenue in any service business, medical or otherwise. Once a patient and a case manager trusts a driver, they're likely not going to go looking for a new one. And you also have a degree of leverage baked into this from day one because you don't even have to be the one driving independent drivers with their own wheelchair accessible or just standard vehicles exist in every city, right? And plenty of them are looking for steadier work than Uber or Lyft is offering. And you can handle all the scheduling, the insurance billing, the compliance and route the ride straight to them. The only thing that keeps this business at three is getting set up to bill Medicaid and insurance managed care plans takes a ton of paperwork and patience and you have to wait to get paid because insurance is a stickler about paying out. So that can be really annoying, not only this, but you're hiring drivers, which is not a super skilled position, so the reliability of the drivers is going to be super important. You know, they are your product, so if you're just sending out crap drivers, your patients aren't going to want to keep booking with your business. And this is also a business where showing up matters more than almost anything else on this list. But bottom line, this is essentially a subscription business that you don't have to bill consumers, You can build more money. and waterproofing. A crack foundation or a flooding crawl space is probably one of the most earliest I would imagine I've never experienced that the most anxiety
inducing problems that a homeowner can have. And most people watching this have no idea that it's a fixable, fundable, completely remote laptop run business. And so when a foundation shows signs of cracking or starts to crack or let's say a basement takes on water every time it rains, homeowners move really fast to spend some money to get that fixed, right? And jobs commonly run between five to fifteen thousand dollars because the alternative is a house that keeps getting worse and on top of this a headache dealing with insurance down the road. And again, similar to everything else I've talked about already, there's no one dominant player in the industry that controls more than a percent of the market. So you're dealing with a lot of fragmentation. And why I put this at number two is because you can run this from a place of leverage from day one. You partner with licensed foundation, waterproofing crews who already own all of that specialized equipment. I'm talking about the expensive stuff, the hydraulic piers, the drainage systems, the sealants, and just want more consistent lead flow than what word of mouth gives them. So you handle the marketing scheduling the inspection and the sales conversation. All they have to do is show up and do the work. And then you get to keep a piece of every job that you bring them. You don't need a ton to start up because you won't be the one doing the actual work. So, you know, a Google Business profile before and after photos. And then just being by the phone when someone calls is going to put you ahead of a lot of people that are in the space already. We're just relying on word of mouth. Now, what keeps this from number one is it's almost entirely one time. So similar to the truck driver recruiting business, you know, your foundation is going to get fixed one time and then it's done. And then you're like hoping for that next call, right? Just hoping and praying. And that's like, just going to get really stressful as you're growing and scaling a business, not to say you can't make a ton of money doing it. It just will be stressful at times. And you don't have like a subscription component. But bottom line, it has huge urgent and high dollar demand that most
people have never thought to build a business around. It just has one missing ingredient for making it number one. Now, business number one, if you've been watching this channel, you know, well, what business I'm going to put at number one. But if you're new, business number one is remote cleaning. This is the business I would start today if I were starting from zero. And the one I've watched more regular people succeed with than everything else on this list combined. Notice it just passed every single test that this whole list has been building. Demand versus competition. Well, cleaning is one of the biggest home service markets in the country. It's worth tens of billions of dollars a year. And it's entirely fragmented. There's no one singular company that owns more than 1% of the market. There's no Amazon of house cleaning or Uber of house cleaning. It has a sea or ocean of small local operators and solo cleaners, most of whom don't answer their phone, don't have a website and don't really want to grow or take the time to learn the skill of marketing sales and recruiting. And there's tons of busy to income families that are actively searching for house cleaning near me and Google. That's happening every single day all over the country. So the demand way outweighs the supply of anybody doing this professionally. Now let's talk about recurring. This is the one that separates it from let's say foundation and repair because roughly one in every three one-time cleanings will convert to a recurring client, whether that be every week, every other week or every month you're servicing their home. And that's on repeat. So you're not having to worry about, "Oh man, I got to start from zero next month. I don't have any revenue." If you just stay in business, you kind of naturally grow and scale every single month, which is the beauty of the business. It's just like a software company. Kind of like a mini local Netflix and you're just cleaning houses instead of, you know, building a software company. On top of this, you hire independent cleaners who already have all the equipment to do the work. So you never have to touch a mop. Right? And so these independent cleaners already have all of the skills,
their own supplies, their own cars, they pay for their own gas. You don't have to worry about workers comp or payroll tax. And like I do send them to a job, they show up, they do a good job. You pay them 50%, you keep 50% to win-win business. All you need to get started is really just your time, a laptop, and a couple cleaners. And that's the entire org chart. Now, if we run some quick numbers, your first time deep clean is going to go for about, call it, $350. Your cleaner is going to take 175 of that, right? 50%? And you get to keep the difference on every job without doing the labor. Then, you know, about one in every three, like I said, converts recurring. But let's just say you stack up to 25 recurring clients. You're clearing close to call it 10 grand a month. You double that, so on and so forth to 20, 30, 40. And so you really only need 30 cleans to get to about 10 grand a month in revenue or three to four grand in profit with absolutely zero employees. And one like really big disclaimer here, it's the number one way that people when they decide to start one of these is thinking they have to go band-aid their recruiting problem by cleaning themselves or start by cleaning themselves. The people who will fail at the They do a few cleanings themselves to save some money. And then they get all attached to the clients, then they have all these limiting beliefs around recruiting. At the end of the day, guys, you are the owner. That's the whole point of everything I just showed you. So you shouldn't be the one doing the cleaning. But bottom line, number one, it's not close. Every filter this video taught you. Demand over competition, recurring revenue, working on the business in the business. This is the business that checks every box all at once.
