I'm so honored that you would take some time out of your day and to hang out with us here at Champion Church. We are a small church located in Northeast Florida, right between Jacksonville and Daytona or Palm Compton, Palm Coast, if you kind of know where that's at. But anyhow, we're in St. Augustine, Florida, a small church that just has a heart to help you right there, wherever you're sitting at, champion every single season. There's so many of you already in the Department of Corrections that call Champion home. Welcome home to all of you, and we say it every week, man, it takes all of us to row. We got our little oar right here. I love hearing every single week about how, man, I told somebody about this, or I shared this one episode that I watched a couple months ago, and how this helped me and that kind of stuff. That's what I'm talking about, man. It's so much more than just me, it's so much more than our church, it is all of us and our amazing Department of Corrections family all over the U.S., and all 50, that's one more than 49, all 50 states. Yeah, so man, I'm just so honored. Couple things, first of all, love this, this is why we got this here as well. Chris Cunningham sent this in to us, absolutely love it, because that's our whole heart, is it takes everybody. This is just my role right here, but it's no more important than anybody else's, and you're actually going to get to see quite a few of those people who help us row every single week as we meet in person, because this week, you're spending the week with me, ladies and gentlemen, you are spending the week with me. I'm going to do a little bit of a vlog style, which I don't know what that stands, oh, there went one of my headphones, well, praise God, vlog style, I don't even know what vlog style, let me just put it here in my Google machine. Vlog means what? Vlog means what? Vlog, short for, my goodness, I can't even read, short for video blog or video log, okay, is a form of online journaling or a diary where the creator uses video as a primary medium rather than text, okay, awesome, so I don't know how I didn't know what vlog meant, but that's what we're kind of doing in this episode, a couple of weeks ago, we did one of, or it's probably been more than that, we did an Easter one, some different regulations changed, we had to take that one down, and some of you, I don't know, I'd love to know, do y'all want to see one of these maybe once a month, or you just spend the week with me, so you're going to see me go all the way through the week from Monday to this is the next Tuesday after of what I'm feeling each day, you're going to see some stuff that we are struggling through as a family through this week and just navigating as a family, you're going to see some raw, very raw moments in my life, I've had a moment this past week where I needed to decide, hey, am I going to practice what I preach, am I going to feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit, or am I going to do my own thing, then you'll get to see it lead all the way up to Sunday morning, and yes, we are putting our Sunday morning service in this one as well, if you've never seen how we do one of those, this is going to be, that's going to be in here also, so it's a little bit of a different layout than our normal episode, but we've got all the different fun videos throughout it as well, I love the suggestions that y'all are giving of like, hey, can you do this, or can you play one of these, that helps me put the show together, it helps me kind of save the time of it, so thank you for that so much, and I'm trying to think of anything else, anything else,

it is, when I'm recording this, It is Cinco de Mayo, one of my favorite days, for those that celebrate, one of my favorite days of the year. So yeah, I've already eaten tacos for breakfast, I'll probably have them again today for lunch, and maybe have them probably for pre-dinner, and then if I can talk Felicia into it, possibly dinner. I don't really know, we'll have to see. But I think that's it, all week long you'll be tracking with me, and oh, I want to say this. Man, how can you, Ro, I think I was kind of going on this a second ago, let somebody know what's going on. Let somebody, hey man, have you checked out Champion Church? Anyhow, there must be an emergency, I don't know if y'all can hear that, anyhow, doing something different this week, going to a little bit of a different, I don't know, look, just to keep it fresh, let you guys know what I'm thinking all week long. Yesterday was good at church, had some good numbers on Pando yesterday as well, good God, the size of my forehead, sweet Lord. Anyhow, what I'm feeling for Sunday already, six days from now, I really feel like we're gonna do the question of, Jesus says, who do you say that I am, that's what I really feel like. But, I feel like at the end, I'm gonna, I don't know, I feel like I'm gonna shift a little bit at the end and go to the part about picking up your cross and that kind of stuff. So that's where my mindset is today, like I said, got these trees gotta drop, I got some church work to do later and yeah, Mondays are not my favorite, only because it's like you're restarting trying to get everything moving in the right direction. So yeah, and then. I will record for y'all on probably Wednesday, that will go out Thursday, and that'll be, we're talking about your conversation. Like, what are you constantly talking about to yourself and to other people, and how it's incredibly revealing to what's going on in your heart. So anyhow, happy new week. Lord. Anyhow, last night was rough at the Herci House. Chase and my son decided to get the stomach flu again, again. Let me recap for y'all that maybe this is maybe the first episode you saw. A couple weeks ago, my younger sister has her baby while her two other kids that are two and four stayed with us. They both ended up having, oh, let me back up, sorry. Chase has a stomach bug. They come over, spend a couple nights with us. They get the stomach bug at our house. And then Felicia gets the stomach bug last week. And then Madison just had the stomach bug the other day. And now, Chasen has it again. And it was rough. He was so sick all over everything, we ran out of sheets. So that was just a long night, long night. But you know what? It was funny. I'm not that spiritual. But he came in. He had been sick for a couple hours. He came in the room and I had already fallen back asleep. He came back in and he was upset because he had thrown up again and all over his bed and all that kind of stuff again. I keep saying that.

again, because there was that many times. And you know what, in the moment, I didn't tell him, hey bud, I helped you those other times, I'm not gonna help you again. No, I sprung right up and went and helped him. And I was just thinking about it this morning, as I'm incredibly tired, I'm about to have my third energy drink of the day, praise God forever, and it's not even eight o'clock, is I was thinking, man, if I'm good to my son like that, Matthew 7 says that if we know how to give good gifts to our kids, how much more does our heavenly father give to those who love them? And I don't know, it was just, again, I'm not that spiritual, but I thought, man, if I didn't question running in there to help my son again, why do I question that God's gonna run in and help me again? Like, that's how good he is. Like, that's the difference of the God that we serve, is that, man, he is willing and eager to help us. And he's just looking for us to turn to him. If Jason didn't come in there and grab me, I wouldn't have known. And I think God knows, but he's waiting for us to turn to him.

And listen, I know this is just a part of it leading up to, but listen, if you are looking for a hope, and maybe you feel like, man, I've turned away from God, or I've asked for help for too many times, man, flip the script on that thing, and maybe today's the day you give your life to Christ. Right here in this random video of just going through my week, maybe you need to hear this, that you keep getting sick all over yourself. And you're like, God, I need your help again. Cry out to him, reach out to him, reconnect, man. You're seeing this video for a reason. Maybe, I know God didn't give my son the sickness, but maybe the whole reason we're switching it up this week is so that you get to hear, you are not too far from God. You are not to this point where he's like, I'm not helping anymore. Man, if your heart is pure to turn to him, I'm telling you, he hears your cry. Pando makes it easy. About to film this week's episode. As you can see here, I'm in the studio. I think the last time I did the studio one was one of the big fail videos, so that one was taken down. But little Pete behind the curtain, this is where I do a show with my cousin for his church pretty much every single week. Language I use, him just being the king. That's right. How do I just align myself to him as King Jesus instead of what this is? It's like, oh, I gotta get this right, gotta get this right. Because we all do that. If I need to get my mess together, I need to get, you know, I gotta quit doing this.

Oh, why did I do this again? Those, all that kind of stuff. And I think, and it doesn't mean we're not fighting against temptation. It doesn't mean we're not implementing spiritual disciplines, that I want to be in the word, that I should pray. It is not to say that, that we don't do that. It is to say, though, that the more we understand just who he is and his greatness, and the more we pursue him, and the more we begin to love him and understand that, like, he loves me with an unconditional love. There are no conditions to it. That is a shocking, almost unfathomable thing for flawed people to understand because our love generally comes with all kinds of conditions. But the more I can understand, like, his supreme value, his endless, unconditional love for me, the more I abide in that reality, the more that I recognize, like, I can, the Bible says that there's no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, that we can approach the throne boldly, like, with confidence. The more I can understand those realities, the more I can show up with, like, Lord, I'm just here with all of this

tattered, riddled mess of mine, but I am in your presence, and I am really trying to align to you, and I want to love you, and I want to pursue you. And what starts to happen, it seems, is that all of a sudden, things start to it's like going to the beach. I know this is a little bit corny, but if you go to, and complexion matters, I guess, but, like, if you go to the beach, me, and I just sit around out there for three or four hours, I am going to change out there, and I will be effortlessly changed because I've been in the presence of the sun. Okay, now, you see, here's the corny spiritual connection. But the more I spend time in the presence of the sun, the more I begin to change, and the odd part is, it's effortless in a way that he is transforming me into a new creation. That's really good. You look like a little bronze babe out there. That's right. That's exactly. Read the first time, and then I'll tan the next. Yeah, but that's a great way if I can just get in his presence. It's a John 15 abide in the vine. Yes Over here is some blank space that we've got to put some Certain stuff for church I want to do and that kind of deal and then this used to be one of the older sets behind me, but anyhow, yeah, man, this is uh This is where I do. You know what? I don't think it's out there anymore of what everything on my shelf is so

So that was a cool thing had great seats Really fun time, but just him and I I'm a big office fan as well It's a Dundee, Texas Longhorn fans since Ricky Williams hook them and Obviously, I'm a big wrestling fan. It's a cheap wrestling belt. I got off Amazon just for this Talked about this last episode. I have a Broncos helmet on here because of my buddy Mike that passed away huge huge part of Champion Church His family still supports massively what we do here on the Pando app And that's why I have that on there to always remember him because he believed in me When a lot of people did not so some of my favorite books right here the beautiful outlaw has got to blame what it's got A lot of evil go down. I'm gonna lift him up and I'm gonna be there for him because I see the way he fights I see the way that he works and I know who he is as a person And that's what I have to say to address him. All right. Happy Wednesday to everybody Checking in got some different things on my mind. I'm running. I think yesterday I started at Walmart before work Today, I'm starting at Publix before work Because chasing is still sick still sick, but I'm I'm believing that He's gonna be able to eat some stuff So I'm running up here to get him just a little bit of bread since they're opening up right now and then drop it off Back at him. I actually think I'm gonna work at home today Felicia's got some clients. She has to go to so I've got some editing I can do on my computer and kind of just work from home. But anyhow, I was thinking about this this morning. I Had a moment Where I had to decide am I going to be? hypocritical Or am I going to? And live out like what God's been convicted me about what I taught in the last episode so I'm at the gym and I have some of my closest friends that I go to the gym with every morning and There was a conversation that was being had not to say with them, but we were all in the circle There's a conversation being had and it was pretty much putting this person down that doesn't go to the gym We all know this person but doesn't go to the gym or anything I mean I had to decide and and I'm gonna admit to you. I am NOT some holier-than-thou I have screwed those moments up so many times whether I chime in or I just listen or whatever and I just and so I'm not like Oh, I made the right decision all the time because I friggin don't and this morning though, man It happened and I knew in my mind. I was like, okay What am I gonna do here?

What am I gonna do here? And I did I got up and just kind of left and you know, I was like, you know, I wasn't rude I didn't you know, I told everybody goodbye And I knew too like I knew in the moment if I get up and leave right now like this is going to like there's gonna be There's gonna be stuff talked about me And maybe there was maybe there wasn't but it was just a moment I was like, I've got to decide like am I gonna be a hypocrite or am I gonna live this thing out? Like I want my conversations to be to be with salt man to be filled with light Like I'm not perfect by any means I say I should never say And I don't know just this morning that was it was kind of like Lord Thank you for the strength to do that and the conviction like where the Holy Spirit's like, all right What are you gonna do? I got I felt like he was like, okay, what are you gonna do? And so Yeah, man. I don't know. It was kind of like a win. It was like a win It was a God win for sure. And that's just what's on my heart. I'm really believing my baby boys feeling better today He's got to get back to football practice because the spring game is Sunday And if he doesn't get back to practice soon, it's be hard for him to get on that field, you know he's in middle school ball now, so and as a sixth grader and Yeah, anyhow, that's what's going on in my head. Alright, Thursday morning. Thursday morning, I'm actually at the new church building. This is where I'm at right now. We acquired this building. I think I said this on the show before. It's really loud. We're right on a highway. I think I said this before. But we acquired a building back in December. The only way it works is we have a tenant. So, Matt's firm will actually rent from us. And they're moving to the smaller side. We were able to do some demo already. But we also take care of the property now. So, obviously, there will be customers in and out. So, I have to get in early. On this one, to help take care of the property and to blow everything off. And so, that's what's on my mind right now is stewardship. Stewardship is on the forefront of my mind because we're not moved in here yet. We have not a single piece of our equipment here yet.

We're months off but still stewarding what we have as if we were here. That's what I'm saying. If we were here, how would we steward this? What would we do? And anytime I'm on this property, I'm just like, God, thank you so much. I'm just so blessed. It's like you don't deserve it. I don't know if you all have ever felt like that. It's like, man, I don't deserve the goodness of God. And sometimes when I'm walking this property, I don't. But he's still good. And, like, I don't know. I think about, like, do my kids deserve everything? Frick. Frick. No. Ha ha ha. Absolutely not. But I still love them and I want the best for them and still, you know, lead them into things that they don't deserve but they absolutely need to be the best person they can be. So I think about that a lot. Jason is still sick. He's still sick. He's actually – Felicia is on the way with him right now back to the doctor to figure out what's going on. I'm like, is it appendicitis? Is it like – is it – what's that one thing called? Glycoma, which means I don't see my butt going into school today.

Is it just that? I don't know. I don't know. I don't want to be like that. But I'm a dad and that's how I'm thinking. So I've been on the machines all morning getting the place cleaned up, all that kind of stuff. And, yeah, I guess I'll show it to you guys as well. I've got a couple of other things I've got to do, but I'm not sure if I'm going to have to go work from home today again because of Jason, because Felicia's got some clients. I don't really know. We'll see how it goes Thursday. Oh, I'm thinking about Sunday of tongue. I mean, I hope it's not too loud with that road. I'm thinking about Sunday of tongue because I'll really start writing stuff today. And so I'm thinking about Matthew 16. I'm thinking about who do you say that I am that Jesus says. But he starts with like, oh, some say Elijah, some say Jeremiah, some say the prophets or whatever. There's something there. And then it goes to, well, who do you say that I am? We all have to give our own answer. So obviously that's the meat of it. But then at the same time, Peter answers it right. He says, this is what I'm going to build my church on. But then Peter screws it up. it up right after that and then Jesus starts talking about carrying the cross. I don't know. There's like four really meaty, for lack of a better term, subjects, so I've got worship

in my ears all day today, I'm just praying, thanking, chewing on stuff, asking Holy Spirit, show me, show me, show me what, what you want, like what do you, um, what do you want your people to hear? You know, not just in person, but in pando land, all them ladies and gents. So anyhow, happy Thursday to you, I'm gonna get back to it, I will show you guys what the outside of the building looks like, um, and where we will be and all that kind of stuff. So a couple months away, but man, just, just so thankful for what God's allowing us to do. Um, so yeah, I think that's it, that's all that's in my heart right now. Let's get to it. Also, if any of y'all want to know what, uh, St. Augustine looks like, this is the main strip. What you see on all the news stuff, shut up truck, don't tell me what to do, don't tell me what to do, truck. Um, anyhow, sorry about that. Uh, yeah, so this is the main St. Augustine, this is like us one, that kind of stuff. This is what I call town. A lot of people think we're talking about the fort and all that kind of stuff. That's not what we're talking about. Um, look at this sign right there. That's acting a little wild on camera. So anyhow, I don't know if I said this, but the only way we're able to afford that building is because of an investor invested in us. And so, oh my God, I'm going to freak out. I'm just kidding. I'm just being funny, but I just refuse to put my seatbelt on because I'm sweaty and nasty. Um, y'all see me almost running that red light, praise God, whatever, anyhow, um, investor believes in what we do from the very beginning and we pay as, um, we grow.

And so that's kind of how we were able to do it. It's a true, true, true blessing. And, uh, y'all can probably see where your boy is about to go. I don't give a it's before nine AM. I'm getting a taco, ladies and gentlemen, a strategy, make like a bush. She has to remain dead still, but stillness attracts flies and flies make her fidget. A true test of resolve. It seems to be working. She just has to choose the right target. Small enough to take down, big enough to feed a family of three. A perfect hunt. On the Northern edge of the Marsh Prides territory, Africa's most resourceful cat is on the hunt. Nikita is relegated to the rocky outcrop zone, the hunting area no other cat wants. The pickings are slim, but Nikita's incredibly creative. Owls. It's an odd meal for a leopard, but she's an unusual cat. 30 feet up is a nest full of chicks and the morning light means it's bedtime. For Nikita, it could be breakfast time. Nikita is just feet away from a possible barn owl breakfast. She's got to take her hunt 30 feet vertical. If she can get to the first fork of the tree quickly, she'll catch them before they flee. Timing and speed are key here. They're huddled inside. Nikita gets to work tearing down the coop. Barn owl flies the coop. Nikita's strategy unfolded perfectly. Great innovation and action, even if it's little more than a mouthful of feathers. Remove all the feathers from birds before eating them. So once the chick has been plucked, it only qualifies as an appetizer. It's also a great appetizer.

That's why Nikita is always on the hunt. Leopards need to eat over seven pounds of meat a day to stay healthy. Nothing is off limits. If it's alive and within range, it's food. One of these jackals will be a lot meatier than an owl. She's in good grass cover. Leopards are built for the short-distance sprint, so she must sneak up to within 30 feet of them undetected, or they'll have time to escape. Normally, it's dogs that chase cats, but in Subhuti, the cats have turned the game around. The jackals are on to her. She tries to look innocent. She fools them into thinking she's innocent. She's not. She's not. She's not. She fools no one. The jackals alert everyone in the area to her presence. With her cover now blown, the rocky outcrop is no longer a viable hunting zone. This is the dominant croc in the group, D.C. for short. He's bigger, meaner, and faster than all the rest. If D.C. wants privacy, it's best to obey quickly or suffer a painful reminder of his status. Crocodile hierarchy is not complex. Bigger is better. In this section of the river, no one fights in D.C.'s weight class. And yet, D.C. spends a great deal of time and energy defending his position. It's a preemptive strategy.

Get the others out of the way early and reduce the competition for food. Aggression is the only language rivals understand. A brutal life has left its mark on D.C. He has an open wound on his nose that flares up after any roughhousing. But D.C. seems unfazed by the gash, as if it's a token of his power. Only when this rival lifts his head in the ultimate gesture of submission does D.C. ease off. A clear pecking order is important when the good times don't last long. As usual, the wildebeest set things in motion. The next big herd arrives to drive them away. As usual, the wildebeest set things in motion. The next big herd arrives to drink. It's a pit stop hunt. D.C.'s up. He must approach without being detected. But this time, he's got a new game plan. He'll submerge way in advance of his strike. An hour underwater. It's the maximum stretch he can hold his breath. Crocodiles don't see very well underwater. So D.C. will navigate using sound and touch. So far, his sneaky technique works. These wildebeests are far less skittish than the earlier group. So far, his sneaky technique works. His strike comes out of nowhere, a perfect ambush. The ragtags react immediately, though splashes are as clear as a dinner bell. This water is deep enough to drown the adult cow. DC picked a good spot.

In less than two minutes, it's all over. The ragtags move in. DC tries to drag his carcass upstream, but the ragtags have him surrounded. DC, the dominant croc, is not about to give up his prize without a fight. The rival male will be taught a lesson. It's a show of dominance and a punishment for theft. But DC underestimates the ragtags. The big croc is only a decoy. While DC is distracted, the others steal his kill. His wildebeest is already a mile away. It's a clever strategy for a tough predator zone. All of the benefits, few of the risks. DC is so focused on the rival, he doesn't even notice his dinner's gone. His need to prove he's the alpha male costs him a meal. All right, everybody. Happy Friday. Friday. F-R-I-D-A-Y, all day long. I'm going to run this yellow light. One of the things I do each week is I will read my notes into my recording thing on my phone. And then at work, I'll listen to it back once or twice today at work. So I just have a pretty busy day. Got some palm trees I'm having to put in that are being delivered. Those days always make me anxious, because, I don't know, just other contractors are involved and all that kind of stuff. So it's not just a normal day. But I don't know. I guess I'm being a little soft about it. What else? What else? That's on my mind. Today is May 1, first day of the month. And I try to kind of reflect on, like, all right, last month. Last month was a wild month. It was long. I felt like it was a lot of just different stuff happened, and tested my faith, and kind of revealed

where I was putting trust and that kind of stuff. But huge month on Panda, over 9 million views on Panda. And I'm just kind of reflecting on that. Unique morning today in the Hersey household. Another unique morning, Felicia, my wife, she works in accounting and she woke up this morning in a little bit of a panic, she realized she made an error, a mistake, about a $4,000 mistake for a client that's going to cost the client that, so she's been pretty upset, which kind of, you know, you can't fix that as a husband, right? Maybe this is just wisdom for all of us, sometimes when people just make a mistake, you can't fix it, you can't say the right things, you can't say, I can't be like, oh don't worry about it. Sometimes you just got to be there and just to sit with them and, I don't know, try to encourage them the best I can and let her know like, hey, this isn't your worth, you know what I'm saying, you made a mistake, she's owning it, she's already reached out

to the client, that kind of stuff. So that kind of like put a little bit of like, oh man, that sucks in the household this morning, and then I've been stressed man, I just woke up with like this gripping like, oh, like the sermon's not coming together how I want it to, and when I say I want it to, like what I feel like it should, that's what I mean. I mean, I'm not God, obviously, but that's kind of what I'm feeling and struggling through, I'm running late to the gym, I was supposed to be there literally a minute ago, and so I run in to rinse off and to do my hair and yes, I do my hair on the way to the gym, I slick it back because if not, I look like frigging Bozo the Clown. But anyhow, yeah, so I'm like just, I'm like, Lord, I realized I was riding this thing out of my own strength, essentially, and that sounds so Christianese, but like, I just realized, hey, I'm doing this out of my own strength, like, yes, I've prayed about it, but have I really, like, God, what do you want me to say? Like, what do you want me to do? And I felt like he gave me a little bit of clarity, I'm excited to get back after the gym and write some more on it. And then literally, as I'm feeling this, I'm like, Lord, I can't carry this weight. And oh, I saw yesterday too, is our large, I know I said this yesterday, again, another record-setting day on Pando, 970K, that watched it and 100 people gave their life to Christ, man, come on, let's go. I just kind of felt the pressure, I guess, I don't know, just all of it together, and I was just like, Lord, like, I'm sorry, like, I just had this moment of like, repenting of like, I'm sorry, I've been doing it on my own, and I need you. And then this song, this old Hillsong song came on called Here Now. And I forget, of course, it was so good, I forgot the lyrics, but essentially, like, I'm putting my trust in you now, like, I know you're here now, I'm putting my faith in you. And it was just what I needed, man. I had a little emotional moment, like, all right, let's get it together, went down stairs and encouraged Flea one more time before I left, made sure she was good with me leaving,

I didn't want to leave and just go, I'm going to the gym, sorry, you're having a crappy morning, you know, whatever. And so yeah, that's what I'm learning this morning is like, man, I need to, I need to rely on God, I can't carry everything on my own. I can't be who I in my heart want to be on my own, like, I have to have to have to involve him in everything. And sometimes I forget that he is cautious one, he is first in everything. And so yeah, that's kind of where I'm at, I feel like he gave me some some stuff, just like put some things in my heart about the Messiah. And when Peter says that, so I'm going to add all that in when I get back. But for now, I'm pulling into class, they're still in the demo, they haven't started yet, and I'm going to get after it. Well, not yet in a couple hours, but it's game day Yesterday's all right rained a lot which we needed a lot in Northeast, Florida pretty bad and Yeah, kind of chilled I think I worked actually to a little bit after one But I got my sermon done and that's what I'm gonna do now so I go through I read it through Polished sections up that kind of stuff. Sometimes I do like last-minute Research of like hey, my I just want to make sure I'm contextually right on this or is there anything that would disagree with this? Those kind of things. I know I'm gonna change my intro. I don't like my intro So I'm gonna change the intro that kind of stuff and yeah, and then a little bit I'll read through it one more time And I'll record it Just kind of just reading it line for line so I can listen to it while we're loading in and then Heading to the church. I know we're missing some some key Team members today. So that always especially with the being is such a small church. You really feel that across the board. So Also, I feel that my hair looks ridiculous Anyhow game day time to get to it Got a couple hours to to polish this up before I got to get to the building and all that good stuff So yeah, let's go. Typically after church I do nothing it's very very very rare that I do anything after church, but It is chase sins Spring football game now, obviously, I'll know y'all been watching the video. He's been sick. So he is better now He actually sent me some videos FaceTime me Yesterday some videos him catches some bass in the neighborhood ponds. I bet his mom's so Felicia's going to get him this morning and then to take him to the game. So his game starts at 1 so I don't think she'll be at church at all today, but His game starts at 1 and even if he's not playing my philosophy is man You're part of the team. You still show up. You're part of the team. You still show up You do what you can it goes with what we do here at champion man. Listen, you do what you can How can you row? How can you get the word out? Who can you share it with? Who can you tell how you need to check this out? And who can you pray for? You know that kind of stuff like it's just it's in the same way I know it's silly of middle school football in the spring. That means absolutely. I mean, I have more meaning in this Share share a bit Drink then then spring football for middle school But the point is learning to be on a team learning to be a part of something So it's important to me that he still shows up and he's there. Yeah, I doubt he plays a single play But he's a show up dress out and be on the sideline and maybe talk a little smack So anyhow gonna get to the building and get rocking All right, here we go. All week long has led up to right now in this moment. This is it. You've seen it all through the week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Look at that. Here comes my Uncle Roger in here to get me until it's time to go. All week led up to this point. I don't know how I'm going to end it.

That's what I'm thinking. Not sure how I'm going to end today. It's kind of like, all right, Lord, I've changed about four times. I've got this bracelet on that's cutting the circulation off to my arm, but it's from a young kid. How old's Mason? Five or six? Yeah. Something like that. Six. I love helping the homeless every single week after church. It's really cool. And he gives out little things just to remind people, so I'm going to wear that today. But anyhow, here we go. Game time. If you ain't got it by now, that's what I've always thought. If I'm not ready by now, it is what it is. So let's go. We've been in a series and we've been talking about questions and specifically questions that Jesus would ask and wanting an answer from us. And not that he doesn't know or not that he's like confused or any of that kind of stuff. He absolutely knows what's going on. But when Jesus asks questions in scripture, oftentimes, if not every time, it's to reveal something to us.

It's to kind of pull the curtains back, if you will. Because all of us, and you've heard me say this several times, if you've come here a little bit, all of us have a kingdom we're living for, a gospel we believe, and a savior we feel that could fix it all. A kingdom we're living for, a gospel, like the good news to us, and then a savior that would fix all of it. That's whether you're a Christian or not. And when Jesus asks questions, he's kind of pulling the curtain back to kind of reveal to us what kingdom are we living for? What gospel do we believe? And then who is, I should say, the actual savior that we believe in that could fix everything that is wrong in the world? Jesus asks questions like this. What do you want me to do for you? Or he asks that to blind Bartimaeus, which you would think is pretty obvious. Well, he would want to be able to see Jesus. So why would Jesus ask? Again, not because he doesn't know what's going on, but because he wants us to be involved in the process, what he is transforming in and through us. And then we saw when he was dealing with storms, two different times, two different storms, two different things he asked. The first one was this, why are you so afraid? Why are you doubting my care for you? And then the other one was when Peter walks on water, if you remember that story. And Peter says, listen, if that's you, call me out on the water. And Jesus says, come on. And he steps out of the boat and begins to walk on water towards Jesus. And you know the story, he begins to sink a little bit. And then he asked, Peter, why did you doubt? Meaning this, why are you not standing on the word that I already gave you?

And then last week, I didn't know how last week would go. I'm going to be honest with you. Sometimes I'm like, man, I feel like God, I know how this is going to speak to people. I know what God's going to do. Last week, I was like, I have no idea what's going to happen. Because we talked all about conversations and the amount of feedback I got from y'all was honestly tremendous. About the value of our conversations, the value of what we're talking about. Because our conversations, whether we realize it or not, direct our lives. If you want to know where you're heading in life, start listening to the conversations you're having with people around you. And then this week, probably the most important question you will ever answer in your life is when Jesus says, who do you say that I am? In a moment, we're going to Matthew chapter 13. But before we get there, I want to look into the camera and welcome everybody watching online from wherever. When you're consuming this and getting this into your life, it means the world that we could do it. And specifically, I want to look into the camera and say hello to all of our God behind bars family on the Pando app. From my heart to yours, you are not a project to us. You're not just a checklist to us. You're not just something that we're doing. Jesus said specifically to care for you. So this small church in this cafeteria is showing up yet again to let you know you are seen, you are loved, and you are cared for. Even if everyone else has given up on you, there is a room full of people right here that see you and want to let you know, hey, we love you. And this is not the end of your story. So champion family, can we welcome all of our family.

I'm so proud of y'all. Bristol is so excited. Bristol has got to leave. She's like, finally. Finally, all right, Matthew chapter 16 is where we're going. Matthew chapter 16 is where we're going. I encourage you, read this thing. You can pause this video, go read the story, come back. We will still be here for sure. Matthew chapter 16, verse 13. When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, who do people say that the Son of Man is? That's a title Jesus gave to himself. Now, notice here, there's so much in this that we're not gonna have time to get to. Caesarea Philippi would have been a region that was full of false gods, false idols, several different things to worship, if you will. And he says, who do people say that the Son of Man is? It's kind of this connection to us. All of us are worshiping something. All of us are. And I think that's why he goes there in a region full of false gods and idols. And he says, let's talk about who I really am to you.

Now, we can go to the next verse, verse 14. Well, they replied, some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets. Then he asks them, but who do you say I am? Simon Peter, he answered, you are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. And Jesus replied, you are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. Everything we know about God is because he revealed it to us. Notice that. You did not learn this from any human being. Now, I say to you that you are Peter, which means rock. And upon this rock, I will build my church. Now, let me pause just here for a second. I do not believe he is specifically talking about Peter. I believe he is talking about the revelation that Peter just answered, that he is the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Because if it's only for Peter, then we don't get to be a part of what Jesus is about to say. But if it's on this revelation, then all of us, all of us can now experience what Jesus is about to say. Let's keep reading. And I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. Now, there's some stuff going geographically here that they would have thought the gateway to hell

was in Caesarea Philippi. We're not gonna go into all that kind of stuff. That's a fun study to do, but for today, we're not gonna go into all of it. But notice this, this stood out to me this week. Sometimes in our culture, especially you've been in church culture for a little bit of time, you'll see these trends, like more people are going to church or less people are going to church. Have you seen that? More people are going to church and less people are going to church. And sometimes, for me, I kind of live and die on that. Like, oh man, are people not gonna come? Or is people gonna stop going to church? Listen, when I was reading this this week, for whatever reason, there was a switch in me. The church of Jesus Christ is going to be around forever because he said so. And he legally says the very powers of hell cannot conquer it, which tells me that the church is actually on offense, not defense. Oftentimes, we think the church is on defense. We have to defend the faith. And I get it, I get the scripture, you use it for that. But you have to understand, we're actually on offense. We're the ones going after and bringing light to darkness,

not darkness just trying to extinguish out the light. Does that make sense? Because of the empty tomb, we now are moving the ball down the field. I'm trying to use football language because I got to go watch a game. Back to the verse, here we go. And I will give you, watch this. So the powers of hell cannot conquer the church. And he says, I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven. And whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. Let me stop here. So Jesus is literally saying, if you can receive from God the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah and that he is the son of the living God, on that revelation, he's going to build the churches, which is what he is doing in the earth today. The church is not a building, the church is his people. And what he is doing in the earth today. And as if that's not enough, this is like, what was that one dude that died with the, man, he washed clothes or something like that. OxiClean, that's what I'm talking about. Who's the guy that sold OxiClean? Billy Mays, thank you. What are y'all, don't have a TV?

Help me here. Y'all are like, that was the worst description. I know, I was panicking inside, like think, think, think, think, think. What would he always say? But wait, there's more. So it's like Jesus is like, listen, if you can receive from God the revelation that I am the Messiah, the Son of the living God, not only will the powers of hell not be able to conquer what God is going to do in and through your life, but wait, there's more. And he will give the keys of the kingdom of heaven where whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. Now, this is not for us just to run around and start forbidding people. Because that sounds fun, does it not? Start the people you don't necessarily get along with, the people that are friction points, boy, I forbid you. And Lord, I permit you just to unleash lice into their life. I'm using something ridiculous, okay? That's not the thing. It's like this. It's like several of you are business owners. If you handed the keys over of your business to a manager, they don't get to change the brand, change the vision, or the mission, or what you're selling. They're just carrying out what you have already established. Does that make sense? So what happens when we get these keys? We are carrying out what Jesus has already established in the earth today, where we are trying to let our good deeds give God the glory. Does that make sense? Alright, the last thing he says, then he sternly warned the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. Question one for this week, two questions this week from Jesus.

Question one, who do people say that I am? Who do people say that I am? Will you put that verse back up there, verse 13? Who do people say the Son of Man is? And well, they replied, some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the prophets. I believe these two verses right here, there are two sides to the first question Jesus asked. What people say, and when we believe like the people. And here's what I mean, okay? It's one thing to know what other people say about Jesus, to know their opinion, or perspective, or thoughts on who Jesus is. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but track with me. I cannot let my relationship with Jesus be based off of what someone else thinks of him. I cannot let my relationship with Christ be based off what someone else thinks about him. Now, that is a really good starting point, but that's all it is. It's a spark, it's an ignite, it's something to just get moving in your life, get you moving towards God. What someone else sees, or someone else thinks, or how someone else feels, or loves Jesus, any of that kind of stuff, that is a good starting point. And our faith, I believe this can, our trust in Jesus, our personal trust, I'm not talking about corporately, I'm talking about you specifically. Because here's the thing, corporately, I can't and we can't stand before God for you. Only you can. That's it. Only you can. You're the only one that can stand before God for you. Now, our faith,

our trust in Jesus should be, and I believe absolutely is, influenced by others. Maybe it was a teacher of the Bible that influenced you. Maybe it was a pastor growing up, that pastor really spoke to you and you grew under him. Maybe it's someone you listen to now that isn't local or anywhere around, but you just, man, I love the way this person writes or teaches. Maybe it's a podcast. Maybe it's a family member that, man, they were just the one in your family always walking with Jesus, always steady in their faith, and you kind of lean on that and your faith is influenced by that. Maybe it was someone in your church family or a mentor or whatever. Like all that is okay and has health in it, but hear me, I cannot build my faith on how you see him, on what you say about him, and your relationship with him. I have to have my own relationship with Jesus. It cannot be based on someone else, because if it is, I'm gonna show you here in just a second, if it is, it's incredibly fragile and incredibly shallow. And I don't say that throwing stones. I say it because I've lived it and I've known. That when life happens and you go through things, if my trust in Jesus is based on what someone else thinks and feels and sees in their revelation, when life hits me, their foundation is not gonna hold me. Then we find out really quick what it's really built on. I think of the story in Luke chapter 8, the parable of the seeds that Jesus would say, and the seed was the Word of God, and one of them was sown on the path and it was shallow rooted, and when the sun came, it began to wither the plants. Why? Because when life happened. It wasn't deeply rooted, so it didn't last. There's this wild story in

Acts chapter 19. It's one of my favorite four verses in all of the Bible, and anytime I can work it into a sermon, I do, even if it doesn't work. So, let's see. Acts chapter 19, we'll have it on the screen, verse 13. Some Jews went around driving out evil spirits and tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who are demon-possessed. All right, so we're talking about the seven sons of Sceva. How many people have heard of these guys? Traveling exorcists, seven sons of Sceva. Okay, man, this would be a fun story for all of us. All right, there's a few of us. Here we go. Y'all are not gonna believe what's about to happen. They would say, they truly, what a job. Let's just pause for, I mean, they would be on Discovery Plus today, for sure. What a job. What do you do? Man, I just walk around and, well, I get them devils exorcising. Guys, it's in the Bible. You can't just read the Bible, you have to read it. This was their job. They, I mean, could you imagine? Oh, man, back's a little tight on a Monday, about to go exorcise these demons. Okay, tough crowd, tough crowd. Here's what they would say. Notice their words. In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches. Do you see that? In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out. That's how they're trying to do exorcisms. In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, come out. The seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, they were doing this. One day, anytime the Bible starts with one day, you better believe it's about to get interesting. The evil spirit answered them. Jesus, I know, and Paul, I know, but I feel like they cussed, but who are you? They were demons. Come on now. The demon is speaking. If you're like, well, I don't believe in demons, well, then honestly, you have to tear this page out of your Bible. It's real. There's a very real spirit realm that is happening. If you don't believe me, try to go out downtown where they've closed the bridge and you forgot about it, and you'll see that manifesting in your own car. I made that mistake a couple times already, and I'm like, oh, I'm the one. Anyhow, Jesus, I know, Paul, I know, but who are you? The man who had the evil spirit. How many are there? There's seven plus daddy. That's eight. The man with the evil spirit, one dude versus eight, jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating. This is Bible, y'all. This is not

me. That they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. That's a whooping. You can't just read the Bible. You have to read the Bible. Like Netflix would have a field day with this. They show up and they try to operate in someone else's face, and they leave the house naked, beaten, and bleeding. What's the moral of the story? Don't play with a Ouija board. Step one. Moral of the story, step 1B, is this. The depth of your relationship with Jesus truly matters. Notice that it put verse 16 up there. Ran out of the house naked and bleeding. Notice this. I believe this is symbolism. I believe that 1,000% happened. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I want you to see this. A house represents shelter, a home, belonging. Naked would be to be exposed, and bleeding is wounded. If you try to live your life on someone else's faith, what will happen is when life happens, you will find yourself when you feel isolated, exposed, and wounded, and then you'll blame God, and you'll blame Jesus that he's not real. Because your relationship with him, you cannot rely on that family member that is so full of faith. They can pray with you. We should. We're called to carry each other's burdens. We're called to agree together in prayer, but at the end of the day, you have to decide, who is Jesus to me? Who is he to me? Not what others say. Who is he to me? Side of this first question is they list off a few people. They list off John the Baptist, some say Elijah, others say Jeremiah, one of the prophets. I believe it happened like this. Jesus says, who do people say that I am? All the disciples are around. And it says they replied. So I think maybe one of them was like, well, some of them call you John the Baptist. And I feel like another disciple was like, well, some of them call Jesus Elijah. Or maybe another disciple was like,

well, I've heard people call him Jeremiah. And then maybe someone else is like, well, they just call you one of the prophets. Anytime something is listed like this in scripture, there is a reason. And this week, just studying this out, this came off the page. I started to look, well, how can that relate to us? And I believe 100%, I'm gonna hit these quick because I had too much fun with the seven sons of Sceva. These show different partial views that we will have of Jesus that are true but incomplete. Let me prove it to you really quick, John the Baptist. Now, John the Baptist had one primary message, which was repent, prepare, because something else is coming. So when people said Jesus is like John the Baptist, they're saying, yes, Jesus is intense, he's calling people out, and he is confronting sin. It's the type of where Jesus is only the corrector and there's no relationship. I know several people in my life that that's how they see Jesus. He's intense, he calls out sin, and one day he's coming back. It's true, but it's incomplete. Then there's Elijah. Elijah represents power, miracles, and bold confrontation of evil.

So when they were saying that, they're saying, listen, Jesus is powerful, he's got authority, he stands against darkness. Again, all of that is true, but still it's limited. How do we see it in our day and time? We love what Jesus can do for us, but our heart is not connected to his. This is the spare tire Jesus. I'll call on you when I need the breakthrough, when I need the miracles, and I'm in a crisis, which is fine, but it shouldn't stop there. It should be an ongoing relationship of surrender and lordship. Maybe it's Jeremiah. Now, Jeremiah was known as the weeping prophet. He had deep emotion, burden, grief over sin. So essentially, when they're saying Jesus was like Jeremiah, yes, he's compassionate, he shows emotions, which again is all true. But sometimes we can be like, man, I love the heart of Jesus, but again, if you're not making him king over your life, we're missing it. And then he says, maybe he's one of the prophets. This is the most general answer. Where sometimes people say, listen, I believe there's something good about Jesus. Yes, okay, sure. But I'm gonna keep my life distant enough where there's no real clarity.

I go through this list for this, and I'm sure you're already doing it. So you start asking yourself, do I see Jesus in a partial way? Is he to me just a partial piece of who he is? Not the complete Messiah, the son of the living God. Even for me going this this week, I'm going through, I'm like, man, do I just see Jesus as a problem solver? Or do I just see Jesus mainly as a comforter? Do I just see Jesus as an influence and not lordship? Like again, all of these are good and they're a part of who he is. But if we only see him in those ways, we're missing the totality of what it is. And we're not left to question because the second question is this, so who do you say that I am? So who do you say that I am? Is he the Messiah? Is he the savior of the world? Is he sent by God to fulfill everything the human heart desires? And let's just be honest, if he isn't, then all of this, all of this, for nothing. If he isn't, I've wasted my life on a fable. If Jesus isn't the Messiah, the son of the living God, then it is the greatest fabricated lie of all time. But if he is, then there's only one seat for him in our life

and that's king over our heart. And that's it. There is no partial. There is no I'll lean on he's king in your life. No, no, no, no. If he is that, then he has to sit on the throne of my life. And I was chewing on this this week. I'm like, okay, how can I show who Jesus is? So I started thinking about John 1. John 1, 1, in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Jesus was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Jesus and without him, nothing was made that was made. In him was the life, and the life was the light of men. Love that verse. True life is in Jesus. The light shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Do you see that? We are on the offense. Darkness cannot stop light. A little while ago, when we turned all the lights up, the darkness didn't say, no, no, no, no, I'm not leaving. It had no choice but to be done. Because when you bring light into something, darkness has to run. Then I would take you to verse 14. And the word, this is Jesus, became flesh and dwelt among us.

And we have seen his glory. Glory is the only son from the father, full of grace and truth. Then I was like, okay, once we do that, we'll go to John chapter three. Probably some of the most famous words that Jesus would ever say. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son, that is Jesus, into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. And I was like, okay, after John one, after John three, we'll go to Colossians one. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. If you wonder what God looks like, look at Jesus's life. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation. He existed before anything else and he holds all creation together. I would jump down to verse 17. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. And then verse 20, and through him, God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by the means of Christ's blood on the cross.

This is who Jesus is. This is the Messiah. This is the son of the living God. And then I was like, that's not enough. We'd have to go to John chapter 14. You don't have that one, Ms. Pat, so don't panic. We would go to John chapter 14. I would show you that Jesus says, listen, I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life. No one comes to the father except through me. Here's the crazy thing about Christianity. Over the last 2,000 years, the church of Jesus is the most inclusive people group in all the planet. It doesn't matter your background, your age, your gender, your race, your socioeconomic status. None of that matters. One thing matters. Do you accept what Jesus did that we could not, which is leave heaven, come to earth, die in our place to remove all the sin and shame and shortcomings and be connected with our heavenly father? It is the most inclusive things in the last 2,000 years, but it is also, and this is where Christianity gets offensive, it is also the most exclusive thing because there are not many ways to God. There is one way to God, and that is Jesus. You are not a follower of Jesus if that is not your stance. I love the Coexist bumper stickers. They look awesome.

It's just not true. It's just not true. And you say, well, I don't believe that. Okay, I'm not here to say it. I'm just showing you this is who Jesus is. It is the most inclusive, but also the most exclusive. John chapter 14 says, if you've seen me, you've seen the father. Then I can take you to over, well, before I take you there, I thought of Romans chapter five, verse eight. This is who Jesus is, that God demonstrates his love for us while we were still yet sinners. Christ died for us. This is who he is. 300 plus prophecies of the Messiah in the Old Testament. Some of you will recognize this because this stat has been out for quite a while. I love it, and it's this. A man named Peter Stoner, what a name. Peter Stoner, just make sure you're all awake, in his book, Science Speaks, decided to figure out what are the chances of one person fulfilling all of these prophecies as Jesus did. All these prophecies are thousands of years old for him to fulfill them. He took just a handful, eight, just eight of them. What are the chances of one person fulfilling eight of these prophecies? Here's what he found.

It is one to the 10th and the 17th power, which I believe means 17 zeros after that. I'm not good at math. That's a lot. He takes it a step further, and for all of our DOC family in Texas right now, you will like this. He said, if you take silver dollars, if you took silver dollars and covered the entire state of Texas, the entire state, and not just covered it, put it two feet deep in silver dollars, and then you took one of those silver dollars and marked it and dropped it from a helicopter, and then you took somebody like Ian, just beautiful, just newly married looking gorgeous over there with his little sweater on. Look at him. If I took Ian and I said put this put this blindfold on and go into the entire state of Texas with two feet deep of silver dollars and find the one that we marked with a marker and he said I got it and he found it on the first try. That is 1 to 10 to the 17th power. That is the chances of one person fulfilling only eight of the prophecies. Jesus fulfilled hundreds and I was gonna end the sermon there and I felt pretty good about it. I was looking at that camera and say listen if you have not given your life to Christ it would be the best decision you make. It does not fix everything. Listen I'm not saying everything's gonna go fine, everybody's gonna come back together. It does not reconcile the mistakes and hurt that maybe you have caused but it does say this that's not the end of your story. It does say this there is hope and there is forgiveness in Christ and there is a better tomorrow that you don't have to end it yourself but that you can accept him and walk with him. Here's what I love about the Pando app. Literally right below me is a little button that says accept Jesus for the first time. If you never have man I

don't know. I'm biased. I really think you should. I really think you should but I can't get past Matthew chapter 16 verse 16. You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. I don't use Messiah a lot in my daily talk. I don't look at a Taco Bell double crunch wrap supreme with extra beef and say this is the Messiah because that would be weird. It's not something we really use often outside of maybe a scenario like this because it's kind of an ancient word, a church word, and it's kind of foreign. Like we might nod like mm-hmm the Messiah but in our Western Christianity it's kind of like I don't really know. So I just went on a little bit of a search. What's the best way I can define Messiah? The word Messiah simply means anointed one. Some translations will translate it that the anointed one, the one chosen and empowered by God to step into a broken world and make things right. In Hebrew expectation, this was the long awaited King, notice these three things, who would rescue, restore, and reign. This is who Jesus is. He is the King of the universe who rescued us from the dominion and slavery of sin. He restores us and gives us His righteousness that we're not worthy of at all and He gives it to us according to 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 and then He is meant to reign in our hearts. We're out of the abundance of the heart, our mouth begins to speak and we can't help but to declare the works of the Lord in everything we do. So who is Jesus? King who would rescue, restore, and reign. And when you can see Jesus as He is the King of my heart, He did what I could not do and saved me from my sin and brought me back into the family of God and that He is restoring me back into who He created me to be. That my life is not wasted or over, it's too far gone and then He reigns in my heart. That is the revelation that God gives us and He says on that the powers of hell can't conquer it and I'll build what I'm doing in the earth today and I'll give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven where you're not just living, looking to the sky waiting for Him to come back because He will. He is going to but now you're living with heaven inside of you and flowing through you everywhere you are, at home, at your job site, with your friends, at the gym, whatever, behind bars, on your work camp, whatever it might be, is you are living

with Him coming in and through your life in everything you do. William will you come play because this will make you sound better. In this moment if you will let's all just take a moment, you can bow your heads, whatever it is to make it easier for you to self-reflect. I don't want to rush out of here without giving you a moment to self-reflect, giving you a moment to ask yourself who is Jesus to me? Who is Jesus to me? Yeah, I had this person influence, awesome. I read this book 41 and it influenced, awesome. I watched a show on Pando, awesome. But who is Jesus to you? But who is Jesus to you? For several of you, you've been walking with God and you know this is who Jesus is to you. He is King. He is rescuer, restorer, and he reigns in your heart. Maybe today what you just need is a reminder that the church of Jesus is on the offense. We're moving the ball down the field. For lack of a better term, we are taking ground for the kingdom of heaven. We are stealing people out of the grips of hell. Maybe you just need that reminder. People can be loud, but it will not conquer what Jesus is doing in the earth today. Maybe you need the reminder that he's given you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. That he's given you authority in life. To not just take life punching you in the face over and over and over again. That's a saying that's, Christians are saved, not soft. Maybe just be reminded of that. You're not powerless. You've been given authority through Christ that he sends us out as well. And maybe you've never accepted Jesus. You've never given your life to Christ. Or maybe you did so long ago, you're like, man, I left that a long, long, long, long

time ago. And I'm ready to answer again who Jesus is to me. If you're watching on Pando, as I said, you can do that with the button right below. For us in this room, we're going to say a prayer. And honestly, this prayer is just the starting point. It's the starting moment of living your life for Christ. We're going to say it. We're all going to say it together. And then at the end, we'll stand and Colby, you'll come close this out. So church, let's say this, Jesus, today, I commit my life to yours. I ask you today to forgive me, to heal me, and to set me back on your road. I turn my back on selfish living and being self-centered. And today, I confess you as Messiah and the son of the living God. In Jesus name, everybody said amen and amen and amen. Yeah, come on. Let's give it up for everybody in here on there. For y'all, there's so many of you watching, I know just the people that haven't given their life to Christ yet. And so I just, I wanted to, I don't know, I shifted at the end.

I still think it was all right. I mean, all that kind of stuff. But that's where I'm at. I'm tired. That one, I gave it a lot. And that one, hopefully you guys like this.
