Nothing is Wasted... & Fishing
In this episode, we wrestle honestly with the idea of wasted seasons, wasted years, and wasted mistakes, and confront the powerful gospel truth that in Christ nothing is wasted. We talk about how every person falls short yet is freely made right through Jesus Christ, and how God’s redemptive nature means He can use even our worst chapters to form Christ in us, heal what is broken, and encourage others. We explore how the comfort God gives us in suffering becomes the comfort we offer others, how beauty can come from ashes and ruins can be rebuilt, and how God weaves every surrendered part of our lives together for good according to His purpose. Through stories like Saul becoming Paul, Joseph’s betrayal and imprisonment, and David’s hidden seasons in the pasture and the cave, we see that God does not cause evil but faithfully redeems surrendered stories. We are reminded that God restores all things through the blood of the cross and that victory comes through the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Along the way, we even go shark fishing, reminding us that life with God includes both deep truth and real moments. If you have ever wondered whether your past disqualifies you or if this season has meaning, this message invites you to surrender it all and discover that with Jesus, nothing is wasted.
