And if you're in the back, can you go to the front? We want to give you 30 seconds and go introduce yourself to somebody. You don't know Say hello say God bless you. You don't have to pray a prayer over them. Just say hello Amen let's move around A man Beautiful From up here don't this look beautiful. This looks amazing. I love it A Man a man Look at all the beautiful smiles Some of the smiles not as beautiful they forgot to brush their teeth, but that's okay the blood of the blood of wash them. I I know. Well, we were we were hugging and hand-fiving. Amen. Amen. Amen Church That's right also to Pando Edovo we're shaking your hand all of you in Jesus name We love you. We're praying for you. I Know and we're we're just believing, you know, and for just great things for you But church, let me just ask you Isn't it amazing to see smiles? Isn't it amazing to meet new people? You know, it's kind of like we have three churches one in the back one in the middle one in the front and We want to be able to get all the sinners row in the back saved. So that's why we got to go back there I'm kidding. I'm just kidding. But
What an amazing Picture for us we got to see that Guys, that's the church That's the church. Amen. And so that way nobody none of you can say I hadn't I haven't met anyone today No, you just met someone new Now if you don't remember their name remember their face and tonight go pray for them Amen, amen So at this time we also as a church we pick up ties and offerings we do missions We support missionaries in three three different countries as grace international. We provide missions to all over the world and Grace international as a movement if I remember right David has more churches outside of the United States than they do inside the United States and So it's such an important thing that we're able to grow that way and be and you're able to Participate and be a part of that giving in some of those churches that were able to directly give and grow into and pour into Pastor Thomas pastor Moses and just and then we're able to hear from them But also I want to bring something to mind where we do well in the mission side We do one dollar per church or per per missionary and so we'd like to give three dollars if everybody could give three dollars if we could have 125 people giving three dollars every Sunday You know what? You know what that means? That's half of Starbucks It's not even a whole Starbucks Starbucks cost like seventeen dollars and twenty eight cents per cup I think It's crazy. But if you were willing to go from a Venti to a Grande, you could give missions and you did that one time a week. You could give to missions once a week. And if we had 125 people, Sister Sharon, $375 a week, that's amazing what we could do. So we want to give you the opportunity to give to missions, but we also want to pick up tithes and offerings. And guys, there was a statement that was told to me almost 30 years ago that I thought was
the craziest statement in the world. And it was, what does a missionary look like in the United States? And I remember Brother Felix, when I heard that statement, a bunch of pastors laughed and they said, the United States don't need missionaries. We send them out. Church, let me ask you, look around you. Look around your school district. Look around your neighborhood. Look around the city in which you live in. You tell me, do the United States, does the state of California need missionaries? Does it need young missionaries going in and ministering to high schools and college campuses and middle schools? Do we need missionaries going in and coaching football and baseball? Do we need missionaries going into the nursing homes and going into the hospitals and at registered nurses and ministering with doctors and in the finances and in the schools? Yes? Then where are we going to train them to be missionaries? Who's going to teach them how to be a missionary unless the church does what the church is supposed to do? So can we stand to our feet? We're going to pick up our tithes and our offerings. House of Rest, we're not giving because we just want to be beggars and have a building. We want to give because there is a mission and there is a purpose behind what it is we're trying to do and build. So we want to be able to send out missionaries and some of you that are here, some of you guys have been called. Some of you guys have been putting it away. Some of you guys have known for a long time, but you don't know how, where and when. If we can give together and we can provide the resources, would you go? If we could work together and labor together, would you go?
Would you let your dream die? Would you let your passion die? Would you let the kids that are coming in not have a Sunday school teacher, not have a ministry leader? Or would you give and would you labor together? I'll let you make that decision. But church, we're going to pray, we're going to pick up our tithes, we're going to pick up our offerings, and then we're going to get into the sermon and the rest of the service. But let's pray. So Father, we thank you right now in the name of Jesus. We thank you, Lord God, for our missionaries. We thank you, Lord God, for what they're doing and the labor that we're able to participate in. And Father, we thank you for the privilege, Lord God, of faith and giving. Father, we thank you, Lord God, that believers have a heart, Lord God, of giving because you gave to us, Lord God, first. So Father, we thank you for our tithes and offerings. We thank you, Lord God, for the ministry of House of Rest on the internet, on Pando, Edovo, Lord God, the ministry that is happening here right in front of us. Lord God, every day, every week, all week long. Father, we thank you for the leaders and the leadership, Lord God, and the desire and the passion in which that they're doing in the Sunday school teachers, children's ministry, youth ministry, Lord God, and family ministry like these barbecues. Father, we thank you for that honor and privilege. But Father, as the church, wake us up that we understand that we need to equip missionaries in our own city. Lord God, that the giving is not just for simplicity, Lord God, but that the giving is with purpose. Father, we thank you for the honor and privilege, Lord God, of faith. In Jesus name, amen and amen.
Ushers will come. They have tithe offerings. If you need a tithe offering as they're walking through, just go and raise your hand. They will go ahead and get that to you. And also we have a box here. If you have, there is barcodes in the back of the seat that you can take and take a picture of in the different forms of giving. And so you can give that way also. Did I miss anything? No? Okay. Amen. As the worship team sings, we thank you for being a part of this family and we thank you for diving in with us in this purpose of where we're moving forward. Lord bless you. You are love, you bring light to the darkness, you give hope, you restore every heart that is broken. Great are you Lord. I pray for me Also, I pray for all the churches in the modesto area. Lord. God. We thank you lord in jesus name. Amen Today is, we're doing a four-part series of Who Are You? Identity in Christ. If you like this, now, I'm not saying you have to do this, but if you want to learn more about this, I actually wrote a book about this, and it's called Who Are You? Identity in Christ. So if this is something that you're just like, man, I want to know more about this four-part series, it's a paperback, e-book, and a Audible book on Amazon. Last week, we talked about the fall and what that meant and what it was. And if you recall, if you were here last week, basically it was Satan taking the authority and taking, I guess, for lack of a better term, the deed of this earth. Therefore, Satan became the god of this world. And we left off with mankind was enslaved in sin, but all of a sudden, we see a man named Jesus get up in front of the synagogue. He opened the scroll of the book of Isaiah, and he read a scripture that prophesied
about the coming Messiah. And then he sat down, and he basically said this. This is now about to happen because he was the Messiah. Now, this is where we left off last week, but just as a bullet point of where mankind was, this is hard because if you weren't here last week or just as a reminder, a bullet point of the state of the world and us. Adam lost authority on earth. We talked about that. And because of that, Adam lost his identity. And instead of who he was, because he was made after the image of God, he identified now with shame, with guilt, with condemnation, and fear. And I think that speaks for all of mankind after that because ultimately, the reason we run from God, the reason we want nothing to do with God many times, the reason we run to alcohol or drugs or whatever it is is because of these four things. It comes back down to these four things, which is shame, guilt, fear, and condemnation. So by obeying Satan, Adam became a slave of sin. We read a scripture last week that says that the voice you obey, you become a slave to that. We talked about that. And because of what Adam did, Adam brought death to all humans and all creation. We also see that he was infected not only himself, but everyone after him in sin.
Adam broke that line of communication between God and man, and Adam ruined our status in right standing with God. So in other words, man was completely depraved, and there was nothing man could do to save himself. Nothing you can do to save yourself. As a matter of fact, there's a part in Romans where Paul is saying, the things I want to do, I don't do. The things I don't want to do, I end up doing. He says, oh, wretched man that I am, who will save me from this body of sin? And many times we read that and say, oh, man, Paul had an issue. Paul was talking about the issue of mankind. Who will save us? Who will rescue us? Who will help us? But then Jesus stepped on the scene. I want you to open your Bibles to the book of Romans, chapter 5, starting at verse 12. Romans, chapter 5, verse 12. Let me know when you have it. It reads, and this is basically in a nutshell of everything we've been talking about, but we want to see it in the Bible. We want to see it in scripture. And it says, therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, we're talking about Adam, right? And death through that sin. And so death spread to all men, because all sinned. For sin, indeed, was in the world before. for the law was given, but sin is not counted
where there is no law. Verse 14, yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. So in other words, what it's saying, that even though we were all infected with sin, you might not have ate from that tree you weren't supposed to, but because of Adam, we are all infected with it. Now, in the Bible studies on Wednesday, I always read out of the ESV, and then I read out of a really simple Bible, the message, and usually I don't quote the message on Sunday sermon, but for today's sake, I'm gonna quote that same passage in the message, Romans 5, 12, and 14. And the message says this, it says, you know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we're in. First sin, then death, no one exempt from either sin or death, that means all of us. That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone. But the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. In other words, it was disturbed, this relationship Adam had with God, but it was never actually pointed out until the laws of Moses. And it says, so death, this huge abyss separating us
from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. And even those who didn't sin, precisely as Adam did, by disobeying a specific command of God, still had to experience this termination of life. This separation from God. But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the one who will get us out of it. The ultimate wages of sin is death, so even though it was Adam that did it, we all have to die. All of us have an expiration date, all mankind, whether we disobeyed like Adam or we didn't, we are all, and here's the thing, this is why the worst enemy of mankind is death and who could defeat it. You might be able to give up this vice or that habit or that addiction and you give it up, but ultimately, death still wins. And that's what the scripture is saying, that no matter what, we can't get away from it, but here comes Jesus, he reads Isaiah, he said, I came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captive free. So Jesus came to be that answer and here's the thing, right, is that the world wasn't ready to see Jesus. Matter of fact, in the Gospel of John, it said that he was the light and the world, and the, yeah, the world couldn't comprehend his light, couldn't comprehend his light, couldn't understand it. It'd be like going back 500 years
and you take in your phone in time and then you're in some cave and you turn the little light on your phone. They wouldn't come, they wouldn't understand it. How are you emitting that light? There's no fire, are you holding fire? They wouldn't understand it because the earth was in such darkness and such sin and such wickedness all the way from the time of Adam to the time of Jesus that once they saw that light, they couldn't comprehend it. They didn't understand, it didn't make no sense. Who is this person? Who is this one that everybody is gathering around as he began his ministry, he closed the scroll and he said he came to give sight to the blind that set the captives free and he began his ministry and more and more and more people began to follow him and the spiritual leaders didn't understand, the Pharisees didn't understand, the Sadducees didn't understand, the high priest didn't understand, Rome didn't understand. Who is this? The Bible says that he was baptized and went into the wilderness and even Satan was like, who are you? And I imagine that Satan maybe was like, I've killed all the prophets but none have been like you, who are you?
See, Jesus ain't gonna argue with Satan. So then Satan started taunting him, he says, well, if you are who I think you are, I think you are, looks like you're hungry, then you're not a prophet. make some bread out of those rocks. You're not a prophet, you're not a prophet. You're not a prophet, you're not a prophet. See, Jesus takes orders from nobody. And we have that, it's almost like the beginning of this saga that's about to unleash because darkness has been over the earth all of this time. Satan has had the deed that he took from Adam. He had full authority over everything on the earth and then nobody could contest it, nobody could say anything about it, but then Jesus is on the scene now. And I think it made Satan nervous. You know, how it mentioned in the scripture in Romans that all the way from Adam to Moses, yeah, they were in sin, but they didn't quite understand it, but then God gave the revelation to Moses, the five books of the Bible, and from then on, they had the law. So now the law described what it was that men were captive by, but the law can't set you free. It could just tell you what's wrong. It's interesting because a lot of times, like when you're sick, there's not really any medicine that'll get you better, but you can go to Rite Aid
and get medicine to help the symptoms, but it doesn't make you better. It just helps with the symptoms. And see, that's all the earth can do is try to come up with ways how to fix your symptoms of your sin. And a lot of times in churches, we have turned churches into leading them to Jesus. Instead, we turn it to, let's fix this symptom, let's fix that symptom. Or you deal with alcohol, just don't go into 7-Eleven anymore. Or you deal with lust, so just don't go on the internet anymore. Throw your phone away. Instead of actually leading you to Jesus, the one that can set you free, the church has become medicine of a Rite Aid type of medicine. Like, let's just fix your symptoms. We don't have to do that anymore because in the Old Testament, it was before Christ. But Jesus came to set the captive free. Didn't he say that? That's what he said. You know, so the thing is that in the laws of Moses, he set up the Levite, right? So there was 12 tribes of Israel, and one of the tribes, God says, I'm gonna make you the priest, and you're gonna be my ministers. You'll minister to the people,
and you'll minister to me, and you will be my priest. So he set the priesthood, but over time, there's corruption that came, and here's the thing. I'm not just pointing the fingers at them because even in the church, corruption will set in. How many times have you seen corruption set in in a religious institution? And corruption came in. So the very stewards that God said, I want you to be stewards of my church because I'm coming, but they turned it into something else. And matter of fact, Jesus said a parable that is really important in Matthew chapter 21. Matthew chapter 21, starting at verse 33. All right. Now, a parable, for those of you that don't know, is it's a teaching or a story that had a lesson in it. There was a life lesson. There was a godly message in it. So Jesus would talk in parables, and it says here in Matthew 21, 33, there's one of the parables, and Jesus says, hear another parable. There was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and put a fence around it, and he dug a wine press in it and built a tower and leased it to tenants and went into another country.
So he's talking about somebody that owns a field of vineyards, a field of grapes, and he put a fence around it, and a tower, and basically set it up really nice, and the master says, I'm gonna leave my servants in charge. I gotta go away for a little bit. I'm gonna leave my servants in charge, but remember, this is my field, not yours. You're just my. stewards of this land. In verse 34, it says, when the season for fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to get his fruit. So this owner went away and he left people in charge of his vineyard and he goes away and he says, you know what, it's about time that my fruit is ready so I'm going to send one of my servants to go bring me my fruit. So this owner would send servants to get his fruit. And it says in 35, and the tenants took his servants and beat one. They killed another and stoned another. So every single time the owner of the vineyard would send one of his servants to bring his fruit back, they would kill the servant. It's like the owner was like, what's going on here, that's my land, that's my grapes, that's my vineyard, I want my fruit. But every time the people that he left in charge, because here's what happened right, is a lot of times the people that are left in charge, you start thinking it's yours. That's why I always say man, it's like thing, you have your, man you have your family because God gave that family to you. You have your children because God gave you those children. You have that job because God gave you that job. You have the air in your lungs because God gives you the air in your lungs. All of it belongs to him. So even a tithe, it's like I don't want to give God 10 percent. No, no, no, no. He's giving you 90
because it all belongs to him. Everything belongs to him. And even in ministry and even in the church, sometimes the leaders, the pastors, evangelists or whatever actually starts to think that the building is his. Actually starts to think the ministry is mine. But it's his. He has just let you steward what's his. But when he wants his fruit, he wants his fruit. So the Lord says, Levi, you're the priest, take care of my people, take care of my vineyard because I'm going away. But you know what? When the fruit's ready, I want my fruit. But God kept sending servants. He kept sending prophets. And instead of listening to the prophets, they would kill the prophets. Marie 35 again. An attendant took his servants and they beat one, killed another and stoned another. So in 36, again, he sent other servants more than the first. And they did the same to them. God raised up Jeremiah and they hated him. God raised up Isaiah and they sawed him in half. So many prophets were killed so many times. And God's like, wait a second, why are they killing my servants? That's my land. And every time he sent somebody, they would do the same. Finally, 37, he sent his son to them, saying, oh, they'll respect my son. He's talking about himself. He's saying, well, surely, surely, if they're killing my servants, my prophets, then maybe they don't understand what's happening here. Maybe they don't get it. So you know what? I will send my own son. Surely they won't reject him. For sure they won't. But when the tenant saw the son, they said to themselves, this is the heir. Come, let us kill him and we'll have his inheritance. And they took him and threw him out
of the vineyard and killed him. So Jesus asked them a question. He says, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what do you think he's going to do to the tenants? They killed his messengers. They killed the son. So what do you think is going to happen when the owner comes back? And they said to him, he will put those wretches to a miserable death and let out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits of their seasons in their seasons. See, Jesus was prophesying about himself. Now, here's the thing, though, right? Because I said that Rome didn't expect them, the world didn't expect them, Satan didn't expect them, the Levite priesthood didn't expect them, they're just like, man, the Messiah ain't coming, you know what, this is just ours, we're gonna take control of this ourselves, we'll deal with this, we'll earn the riches, we'll have brave people bring the tithe, why are we giving it to God? We'll just enrich ourselves. At the same time, in the kingdom of darkness, Satan is like, you know what, man, we took the deed out of, away from Adam, this is our world now, this is ours, this is our feast, there's nothing that God can do, he's way over there in heaven, why is he gonna care about these filthy people made out of the dust of the ground, this is now ours. And so you see Satan and the fallen sons of God just celebrating every single day, saying this is ours, this is ours, there's nobody that's gonna come, oh yeah, once in a while he'll send a prophet, we'll kill that prophet too. Anybody that comes in the name of the Lord, we will attack him, because we own this world, it belongs to us. You know, it's interesting that sometimes I wonder, does Satan truly understand what he was doing when he started to turn the world against Jesus? Did he really think that by killing Jesus, that he would now own the vineyard? Did Satan really think that if they killed Jesus, he would now own mankind forever?
I don't know, I have no idea what Satan thought. But it's interesting that this mindset was even in place, because here's the thing, right, that darkness didn't comprehend the light, because all the way from Adam, all the way to the time of Jesus, the world was in darkness, nobody had ever seen nothing, yeah, once in a while prophets came, and Satan's like, man, we'll just kill that prophet too. But Jesus shows up on the scene, and he makes that proclamation in Isaiah, when he read the whole scripture in the synagogue, and he says, today this has come true. I came to set the captive free. I came to give sight to the blind. There's a few verses, write them down, I'm just going to read them off. We're not going to just, it's 1 John 3, 8 says this, 1 John 3, 8, whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning, and the reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. What does that mean, that Jesus stepped on the scene, and he went to destroy the works that had been started ever since the time of Adam? It's almost like, can you imagine you going away for vacation for a week or two, you go, and you go and have a great time, and wherever it is that you went, you come home, and some other people moved into your house, laying on your bed, eating your food, men using your tools. And imagine, actually, let's back up, imagine somebody calls you and says, hey, somebody took over your house, dude. What? Yeah, they're riding your bike down the street, oh, heck no. So you send a friend, you said, you know what, tell them that so-and-so said, get out of my house, so they send your friend, and they beat him up. So you send another friend, and they throw rocks at him until he leaves, you're like, what is going on? That's my house. You send another one, and they kill him. So finally, you say, you know what, because I have sons, imagine, I'm just like, well,
that makes no sense. You know what, I'm going to send Abraham, I'm going to send my son Abraham, because, you know, for sure, yeah, maybe they weren't scared of my friends, because they have really no authority, but this is my house, so I'm going to send Abraham. And Abraham goes and says, hey, get out of my dad's house, and they kill him. That's what Jesus is saying. He goes, what do you think the master is going to do when he finally comes home? And so that's why it says here in 1 John 3a, that the reason the Son of God God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil, the whole kingdom of darkness, the whole thing that that same is a God of this world. And, and I'll see, here's the thing. And we're, it'll go way much deeper, but you, there's so many gods that they worship. They worship, they worship Chimosh and, and Artemis. And, and I mean, just a bunch of gods. They were all demons. The Bible says, those are all demons and they enjoyed the world, worshiping them. And all of them thought this earth was theirs and they're just feasting, having a great old time. But this scripture says that the reason Jesus came was to destroy those works. And finally, at the end of the ministry of Jesus, they arrest him. They beat him. They slap him. They punch him. They rip his beard out. They mock him. They put a crown of thorns on him. They whip him. And finally they crucify him. I can't imagine Satan being anywhere else on this earth than right there. Where else would he be? There's no way Satan was going to be in Brazil or Japan. He was going to be right there. I want to see this. I've been waiting my whole life to see this God destroyed. And Jesus is on the cross and his arms stretched out.
And he says these words, it is finished. Now, without knowing, maybe as a young Christian, when I saw that, I was like, well, he's talking about the suffering that he's enduring right then and there. Maybe he's talking about like, finally, this crucifixion's over. It's finished. The Bible says that he says it is finished. He bowed his head and his spirit, but there's something more that happened by his words. It is finished. There is something that happened. There's a switch. There's a new chapter that was about to begin. It was more than him saying it's finished of what he suffered on the cross. Now, if you ask me, and again, I wasn't there, but I do believe Satan was there. I do believe all his top demons, whatever they are, were there mocking God, laughing at him. There's like, there's no way this can be God. There's no way. I mean, the guy, some broke guy from Nazareth, there's no way. There's no way he's going to come. He can preach all he wants. He can turn rocks into fish or whatever it is. He can do all these walk on water, but you know what? No matter what, he still is coming to death. He's still coming into our kingdom. He's still coming into the darkness, regardless of the great things he did. Death will still take him. Or so they thought. Oh, or so they thought. They didn't recognize him. There's like, he doesn't look like nothing. Matter of fact, in Isaiah 53, it said that he was nothing good to look at. Every time they make movies, they always have this real handsome looking Jesus, but Isaiah 53 says he was nothing to look at. It's almost like he came in disguise. He came home and he, the Bible says that he completely unveiled himself as of glory to be born through a woman, that he came in a way that he was humble.
He came as a humble servant to the point where the gods of this world wouldn't recognize him. But there he is in the cross and said, it is finished. I truly believe that right before Jesus said that, I believe again, this is not doctrine. This is not, you know, this is just my imagination because I can't imagine saying anywhere else, but just, just follow through with me that Jesus looked the enemy in the face as he's on as he's on the cross stretched out and the women are crying and people are mocking him and he looks the enemy in the face and declares victory. It is finished. Not talking about his life on the cross, but everything that happened from the first Adam all the way until now it is finished. I just undid what the first Adam undid. I'm about to redo this whole thing and there was nothing you can do to stop this. I will take back the deed from this planet. I will give back the identity to the church. I would destroy. Same guilt, condemnation, and fear. I break the chains of the slaves. I bring life back. My blood is a vaccine against this sin. And I will replace communication to my people. It is the finished work of the cross. It is the finished work of the cross. You know, I wore a cross and it doesn't have a little Jesus on it because the cross is empty. But I wore this cross and people will say, maybe somebody says, why would you wear the instrument that killed your God if you're such a Christian?
I mean, if Jesus was electrified, would you walk around, you know, with a little electric chair? I'm like, you don't get it, man. This cross is a reminder to me and the kingdom of this darkness that on that cross, he said it is finished. He undid what Adam did and he came to be the second Adam. Now, here's the thing. Why then do Christians live and operate as if it's before the cross? It's a new chapter, it's a new thing. We are no longer enslaved to the things or else if we still are, then why did he die on the cross? What's it for? Jesus conquered sin and took back the authority that was stolen from Adam in the beginning. In Romans chapter six, verse five and six. Romans chapter six, five and six. All right, let me know when they're there. Amen, all right. Romans chapter six, verse five. For if we, talking about us, those that believe in Jesus, for if we have been united with him in a death like his, let me pause there, hold on. You cannot serve Jesus until you die. This is what I mean. I'm not saying that, oh, so you're saying that not until I die, then I can serve Jesus. No, I'm saying this, you gotta die to your old self. You cannot serve God in your old self.
That's why the Bible says that old things have passed away. All things have become new. You're a new creation in Christ. You cannot serve God. Matter of fact, Jesus says you can't put new wine in old wineskins or it'll burst. What do I mean by that? Because some of my jailbirds know that when you make pruno, that stuff, it ferments in your cell and it expands. And that plastic, you're gonna have an explosion in your cell. See, Johnny's laughing. He's like, oh yeah, I remember those days. So you couldn't put brand new wine because it was still fermenting into old wineskins because they would make the wineskin out of leather. And if it was weak, it was gonna explode. So Jesus says you can't put brand new wine in old wineskins, you gotta put new wine in new wineskins. So in the same way, Jesus says if you're gonna serve me, then you have to die to yourself. You can't put this Christianese stuff into your old self or it'll burst. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
Okay, I need a couple sinners up here real quick for like five minutes. Marcelo, you wanna be a sinner? Israel? Oh no, I'll get this brother here. Yeah, I need a couple sinners. I got them, I got it right here. Let me chain you guys up here. You ever been like that? Okay, you're going to, don't flashback on me. Put your hands in the cuffs. I don't know, just figure it out here. Huh? Oh, well, just hold on to them. They'll get it. Put it, wrap it around your neck or something. That's all right, he can just hold them. Maybe hook them together. Right there. Don't mess with my hair. Don't mess with my hair. So, you're in chains. There's nothing you can do to set you free. There's nothing you can do. As a matter of fact, Angel, can you be Satan real quick? Now, you want him to go anywhere you want him to go. So, you're leading him. Yeah. Now, follow, he's leading you. There's nothing you can do. And the whole time they're walking around, they're like, man,
I don't want to be this chain. I don't want to be enslaved to this. I don't want this on me. I don't want this weight on me. And maybe they have children coming and they're like, what's going to happen to my children? And they hold their children and realize there's little chains in their children, too. And they're like, what do I do? How do I set myself free? How can I set my son free? There's nothing I can do. No, no, I got that for something else, babe. You're throwing it off. And our whole lives, all of the Old Testament is mankind. Imagine these guys representing all of mankind. They said, oh, what wretched man that I am. Who will save me from the body of sin? Who will set me free? Right? And all of a sudden, Jesus says, I came to set the captive free. I came to set the captive free. I'm going to read that scripture again. For we have been united with him in a death like his. We shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. So here comes Jesus. Actually, come up here more.
That way everybody. And here comes Jesus, and he says, take those chains off. There's nothing you can do anymore. As a matter of fact, I got something better for you. I got something better for you. This is who you are now. Now, it's interesting that you're holding that. Hold that. This happens in every church. Which one are you? You have been set free, and you let the chains go, or the chains have been off of you, but out of habit, you're still holding on to it. I know. So the Christian that doesn't know who he is in Christ, still being led by Satan, not knowing the whole time that he's going to be led by Satan. He's going to be led by Satan. He's going to be led by Satan. He's going to be led by Satan. Not knowing the whole time the chain's having a hold of you. Go ahead. Give me my chain back. Amen. In John chapter 10, verse 18. John chapter 10, verse 18. John chapter 10, verse 18. In John chapter 10, verse 18. John chapter 10, verse 18. John 10, verse 18.
He's talking about his life. And he says, no one takes it from me. But I lay it down of my own accord. No one takes it from me. I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down. And I have authority to take it up again. This charge I receive from my father. It's the whole time Satan thought he was plotting, Satan thought he was gonna kill Jesus, Satan, and the whole time Satan is always steps behind the Lord. And the Lord is saying, you realize the reason that I'm crucified was because I let you? Do you realize you don't take my life? I give my life. You don't understand that I'm about to pay ransom for all of this mankind that's in chains. I'm about to set them free. A matter of fact, your plans is what's gonna do it. What do you think in the book of Genesis, he says, what you meant for evil, God is gonna turn it for good. So, there's something else I wanna, just kind of a side note, but this is important too. I wanna make sure I get this. Now, Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Whether we have faith in Jesus or not, he still died for every person. It's a gift whether you wanna take it or not, but he died for all mankind. The Bible says that we are saved by faith through grace. But, so in other words, it's paid for. The chains that are holding you down have already been paid for whether you're gonna take them off, that's up to you and up to me. But if somebody doesn't get saved, does that mean he died for nothing? No, he still died for all mankind, no matter what. It doesn't take away the power of salvation if somebody doesn't get saved. Do we all agree with that? Okay, we all agree with that. So, something else interesting happened when he was, right before he was on the cross, they took him to the whipping post. Now, everything we see in the Bible is there for a reason. There's nothing there as filler. Every single thing is important. Every time a city is mentioned, a name is mentioned, a location is mentioned, an action is mentioned, it is there for a reason. The Bible doesn't have filler words just to fill things up to make it a bigger book. It is there for a specific reason. If it says this happened at so-and-so time, so-and-so date, it's there for a reason. Whether we know what that reason is, it's up to us if
we study or not. But every single thing is for a reason. Now, if Jesus dying on the cross is for we can be forgiven of our sins, then why the whipping post? If they would have never whipped him and just crucified him, we would still be saved. But yet, in the Bible, if it's there, there's something important. There's something to it. Now, track with me. When he was taken to the whipping post, in Isaiah 53, there's a piece there that says, by his stripes, we are healed. This was written hundreds of years before he was whipped. Yet, Isaiah says, by his stripes, we are healed. Not past tense, present tense. Now, think about this way, right? So, when we got saved, Jesus didn't all of a sudden jump on the cross for you. When you came, let's say you got saved here on a Sunday, and you're about, so God's in heaven watching you walk up to the altar to say the sinner's prayer, and he's like, oh, angels, I'll be right back. Let me get on the cross again just for them. No. We are saved by what he did in the past. It's already paid for, right? When he did it, he did it once and for all. He died on the cross, and it's said. It's already done. It's a matter of whether we believe or not. So, in the same way, by his stripes, we are healed. Notice it says in the past tense. So, it's already a finished work. Now, follow with me. So, whatever happened on the whipping post is past tense. It's complete. It is finished. Well, what does it mean by his stripes we are healed? What's interesting is that it uses an old Hebrew word called Rafa, and that Rafa meant well-being, well-being in your health. It uses that word that by his stripes, we are healed. Whoa, whoa, what does that mean? Well, if the finished work of the cross brings salvation, what happens when he's whipped? Well, according to Isaiah, by his stripes we are healed. So isn't this the same thing? Because we put a lot of energy and power into the cross as we should because it brings salvation. We're just like, man, yeah, that's awesome, but you know, we have necklaces with crosses, we have shirts with crosses. Nobody has a shirt or a necklace with a whipping post. You know, everything is about the cross because the cross is important. But isn't everything that happened to Jesus important? Everything that happened to Jesus is significant.
And according to Isaiah, it says, by his stripes we are healed. So what is that saying? What is that motion? And what is that insinuating is that by his stripes, so in other words, it's interesting because he was whipped 39 times. And I've heard this said once, you can fact check me, they said every single disease on this earth, every single one always deviates from other diseases, other diseases, it all goes down to 39 of them. Interesting, he was whipped 39 times by his stripes were healed. You know, when Jesus went around healing, he said this, he says, greater works will you do than me? Jesus says, he says, you know what? He goes, you speak to the mountain and that mountain will move. See, a lot of us when we pray for healing, we pray for somebody, we're like, Lord God, send a healing. And a lot of times, like, I thought I told you to talk to the mountain. Why are you waiting for me to do it? I already did it 2000 years ago on that post. In the same way, people don't get saved. The Bible says that how will people get saved unless people share the gospel? Even though it was done, even though he did it, somebody has to preach the gospel, somebody has to present it, somebody has to talk about Jesus, somebody has to teach people. Even though it was already done on the cross, it won't be effective unless people hear it. Well, in the same way, how will we not know this? How will we not walk in the power that he called us to walk in? How will we not if we don't understand or truly get what it is that he did and what it is that he was saying? How is it that Jesus says greater works will you do than me? He says you will cast devils, all you got to do is cast them out in my name, lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
That's what he was talking about. Why? Because he knew he was going to pay for the sins to be taken off of us on the cross and he knew that he was going to pay for every single disease and sickness on the whipping post. So where are you going, David? Oh, I'm going somewhere. He paid for it. He paid for it on the cross. He paid for it on a whipping post. So what does that mean? You know, a lot of times, guys, we get it mixed up. We get it mixed up when we're sharing the gospel for somebody to be saved. I hope you're not doing it so you can put another notch to tell people, hey, man, I led somebody else to the Lord today, I, I, I, I, I. It ain't about you, it's about him. How do we know that? So in the same way, by his stripes we are healed and we go and, and cast a demon out of somebody. Is that another notch for us? Just to tell people, look at me, look how great I am. Look at this great ministry I got. You know, deliverance ministry or healing ministry or prophetic ministry or all these things and look at me, look at me, look at me. No, they was never meant for us. You know what happens if we make it about us? We become like the stewards that say, you know what? The owner's never coming back. This is my vineyard now. This is mine.
And you know what? I'm going to enrich myself. I'm going to make everybody think it's about me. I cast the demons out. I laid hands on the sick and they got healed. Somebody had cancer. Somebody had this. Somebody had that. And you know what? Now they're healed and it's all me, me, me. Because the owner's never going to come back. He's been saying he's going to come back for 2,000 years and he's still in here, but you know what? I'm just going to enrich myself. No. Remember that verse where Jesus says that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents? I always, I always took this verse this way and I remember thinking like, man, so when I got saved, February 25th, 2004, all of heaven cheered for David Rocha? I'm like, that's awesome, right? That's cool. You know? And I didn't see nothing wrong with that. I'm like, cool. And then I started thinking and I started reading this. I was like, wait a second, wait a second. If he's. the one that suffered on the whipping post? If he's the one that suffered on the cross, why would they cheer for me?
This is what I mean. Could it be? Jesus says, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous persons who need no repentance. What do I mean by that? See, most believe that this verse is about heaven rejoicing for us when we surrendered our life to the Lord. And what we fail to realize is that we're not the winner. We're the medal. Okay, in the Olympics, when the person goes to get the gold medal and he stands right there in between the second place and third place, and the stadium is full of people, and the person comes with a medal, and they put the medal on the winner, and everybody starts cheering. Okay. Are they cheering for the medal or the one that won the medal? They're cheering for the, can you imagine the medal saying, hey, they're cheering for me? The medal didn't do nothing. It was the one that ran the race is the one that they're cheering for. So when all of heaven rejoices, it's because Satan couldn't hold somebody
and God took the chains off of them, and God took the chains off of them, God took the chains off of them, God took the chains off of them, and all of a sudden, the person has come. You, the repentant person, comes before the Lord, and all of heaven rejoices because you were just another medal that they put over the neck of Jesus. And all of heaven rejoices because he deserves his reward. He suffered for you. He died for you. He was whipped for you. He was mocked for you. He had a crown of thorns for you. Nails were driven in his hand. Man, I'm sorry, but they weren't cheering for you. They were cheering for the one that won the medal. He deserves his reward. That, now, guys, that completely flipped this whole thing around for me. Let me explain, and I pray that it'll flip it around for you. Well, I don't like to evangelize because I'm shy. I don't like to do this because of that. Man, it ain't about you. Now, tell me this. If somebody, somebody you love got did wrong, and you love this person,
and they just got done dirty and just got done wrong, and so, but you have an opportunity to make things right. Whatever it may be. Maybe it's get to get property back or whatever it is. You know, like, for instance, I'll use my dad as an example, right, because my dad worked hard for what he has. He doesn't have a lot, guys. We grow up, I'm not gonna say poor, but we grew up modest, you know, and everything we had is because my dad worked hard for it. My dad didn't sell drugs. He didn't do none of that stuff. Everything we had is because my, I seen my dad come home tired and sweaty and dirty from the fields, and if somebody would come along and steal from my dad, I would be really upset. Maybe to somebody else, maybe it was a lawnmower my dad had out there that I knew that my dad worked six months to buy that thing and somebody just comes along and just steals what belongs to my dad, me having seen him sweat, and I said, no, that ain't cool, man. You know what, I'm gonna go and I'm gonna find your lawnmower and I'm gonna bring it back, so all of a sudden I go and search and search and search and search and then I find the lawnmower.
You know what, because my dad sweated for this. My dad worked hard for this. I'm gonna bring him back what rightfully belongs to him. This has never belonged to the one that stole it. Dad, I brought your lawnmower back. It belongs to you because you suffered and you sweat. I saw you for six months. You wanted this thing. You saw it in a catalog and you had a picture of it on the fridge and you wanted this thing and you worked and you worked and you worked for it and I'm bringing it back to you. That is how you need to see people who are lost. That is how you need to see people with diseases. That's how you need to see people who have demons in them. Every single person you come across are stolen property that belongs to the king of kings and the Lord of lords. The reward belongs to him and our job as a church is not to just come every Sunday, every Sunday night is it. Our job is to go searching for the ones that belong to him that were stolen by the enemy and no matter what, I am not gonna stand back because my king suffered on the cross and my king suffered on the whipping post. So you know what? He deserves his rightful reward. And our job is to, do we love Jesus? Do you understand he suffered?
So he deserves his reward. He deserves everything he's got coming. He deserves all of it. You know, it's, there's a preacher that said something like this. I don't remember exactly how he said it, but I'm gonna try to re-say it because I think it's perfect. The finished work of Jesus, of what he did on the cross is so incredible. The fact that from Adam to then we were in chains and there was nobody to set us free. You know the criminal on the cross? There was two criminals in the side of him and one of them was mocking, actually they were both mocking God at first. They were both mocking Jesus at first. And then, I don't know, for whatever reason, one of them felt bad and he just like, hey, he's telling his homeboy, he's just like, hey, why are you doing this, man? We're here because we deserve this, but this man is innocent. And so the mocking one started saying, well, if he's what people claim he is, then why don't he get himself off the cross and us too? And so this other criminal says, man, do you have no respect? How can you mock this man?
He's innocent. I don't even know his name, but he's clearly, he's innocent. And he doesn't say Jesus. I don't even know if he knows his name. And he looks and says, Lord, well, will you think of me when you step into your kingdom? Because I deserve hell. I'm in chains. I'm in bondage. I can't stop being who I am, but can you think of me sometimes? And we know in the scripture that Jesus says, today, you will be with me in paradise. Now, we all know that story, but think of this. This is crazy. So soon after that, both criminals die. Jesus died for the sins of the world. The criminal who called him Lord said, remember me someday, just once in a while, think of me, dies. Closes his eyes to this world in utter pain with the mocking of everybody. And the criminal opens his eyes and he sees light. What? Where am I? Where's everybody at? And a man comes to the criminal.
He says, hey, what are you doing here? I don't know. Follow me, come and follow me. So he follows him to the gates. And he says, hey, has an intercom like a usher do? He goes, hey, there's a guy here. I don't think he belongs here. Can you send somebody over here? Somebody else comes from heaven, maybe a foreman. Somebody comes. He goes, hey, what's going on? He goes, this guy just showed up here. I don't know him. So the man pulls him to the side. He goes, well, what happened? I was crucified. You were crucified? How'd you end up here? Oh, so did they crucify, like were you some kind of priest or something? No. Oh, so you understood doctrine. You understood scriptures perfectly. That's why you're here, right? Doctrine, what's that? Did John the Baptist baptize you? Who's John? What are you doing here? What did you do? And the man's like, I have no idea.
I was on the cross. this cross and it was hurting, man, it was painful and everybody's, just all this noise and all of a sudden I'm here. And then I said, but I don't understand, how are they, how is it that you are here? Who sent you here? Well, there was this man. There was this man on the cross and he was on the cross right next to me and he said that I can come here. Yeah. Notice, it was nothing the criminal did. It was everything of what he said. It's always about him. I don't know what it was like for that criminal. I don't know if he was really confused. I have no idea, but all I know is this, is guys, yes, we need to study the scriptures. Yes, we need to know the word of God. Yes, but don't get away from the basic understanding that believing in Jesus is what allows you to come into the kingdom of God. Don't overcomplicate it. Don't do nothing like that. There's this little book that they used to pass out. They still sell them once in a while, but these little tiny track books. And there was one of this little boy and there was no words in it.
And this little boy, it's just a little, like a comic book, and who remembers this? It's called, what's it called? He Loves Me or Jesus? I don't remember the name. It's just like maybe 10 pages. And I remember seeing that as a child and man, it wrecked me as a child and it had no words in it. It was a little boy getting beaten by a drunken father and a drunken father would force him to go out and beg for money so he can buy more beer. And he would send him out and he would beat him and whip him and he would come back and it was raining so he didn't get no money. So he came back and gave his dad the one coin. His dad was mad because that wasn't enough to buy the liquor he needed. So he throws a coin and he beats the little boy. And the little boy crawls away and he dies in a box. But before he dies in the box, as he's dying there, a pamphlet flies into his little box as he's shaking there dying. And it was just a little picture of Jesus dying for him. And he didn't know his name, he didn't know nothing. And he saw that picture and he held it to his chest and died. The simplicity of a child. And in that moment he fell in love with Jesus and he died in the box and all of a sudden
an angel picks him up and takes him. And it's just a comic book, but I think it says so much. We wanna overcomplicate things and fill it with theology and fill it with doctrine and fill it with archeological finds and fill it with all these things. And I love those things too, but those things don't save you. It is knowing him. So Adam had authority over all creation. Jesus came because Adam lost that authority and Jesus came and took that authority back. Adam was tempted, right, by Eve, and he failed. And Jesus came and was tempted and he passed. Adam caused all mankind to be infected with sin. And Jesus gave all mankind the opportunity to be forgiven of sin. Adam disobeyed, his disobedience to God led to death. But Jesus' obedience to God led to life. Adam gave authority to Satan and Jesus took authority back from Satan. Let's all stand. You know, as we're going through these four parts, the fall, the finished work, spiritual warfare, and the kingdom of God, this is the takeaway I want you to take from today, is we need to understand that it is a finished work. You can't do nothing to add to your salvation. There's nothing you can add. If you see somebody that's been serving God longer than you, they don't have more Jesus in you. The Holy Spirit comes as a person, not in portions.
You don't earn portions of the Holy Spirit. Everything you have, the Bible says that we have been blessed with every spiritual blessings in the heavens through Christ. Meaning what? Everything that he has for you is already at your disposal. Why do you think the enemy doesn't want you to understand who you are? He wants you to still be in a fallen state. He wants you to still be in condemnation. He wants you to still live in fear. He wants you to still live in guilt, still live in all those things. And I think the majority of Christians still live in that mindset. You're like, like, you know what? I serve you Lord, but you know what? I don't deserve to do anything for you because of the things that I did or who I was and who I am and all these things. And because of that, I self condemned myself and now I self condemned myself. So now I feel guilt. So I'm just going to be kind of this Christian that just kind of in the back because I'm not worthy of anything that the Lord is saying, what are you talking about? You need to understand who you are. It is the finished work of the cross. It is already done. It is already set. It is. It is already what it is. And can you imagine if a church could literally walk in their life right now? Not when you're in heaven, but right now and walk in the true authority of who you are. Yes, the deed was taken from Adam, but Jesus came to give that deed back to the church. Remember what he told Adam before the fall, he says, you have authority over everything on this earth, over every creeping thing on this earth, you have
authority of it. Well, the moment Satan took that deed, now he had authority over everything on his earth. But when Jesus rose on the third day, the Bible says that he took the keys from Hades and of death. The Bible says that he took all authority away from the God of this world. You know, it's one thing, the fact that Jesus took authority, but you understand this is the part you need to understand is that he took that authority and he gave it to the church. He gave it to the church. Who's the church that's building? No, we are the church. We are the church. Now, remind you what that authority means. Now you and I have the deed. And what did God say? Whoever has a deed, everything on this earth and every creeping thing on this earth submits to you. The Bible says that you are the body and he's the head. So that means we're the body. The Bible says that he that the earth is his footstool. So even if maybe we're like, I ain't good enough to be his shoulders, I ain't good enough to be his fingers, I ain't good enough to be his heart, man, I'm the callous on Jesus heel. And you know what? You're still. You're still beneath his, I mean, the enemy's still beneath your feet, so even the callous has authority. And then the Bible says we're going to get into next week, the Satan gets thrown out of heaven and thrown down to where? To this earth, who has the deed of this earth, the church. So why are you afraid of demons again?
Remind me, why are you scared of demons again? Because we have the deed, and if he's thrown down to this earth and we have the deed and Jesus is all authority that I have, I give to you the church. We need to walk differently, we need to operate differently. You know why we don't see miracles? Because we don't know who we are. You know why we're not casting devils up? Because we don't know who we are. You know why we're not proclaiming the gospel the way we should be? Because we don't know who we are. But if we understood this, this would change Modesto. This would rattle the kingdom of darkness in our cities, if we understood this truth. And if there's anybody right now, I want to give an opportunity for anybody in the spirit, if you want to trade your chains for something better. Today's a day of salvation, right now. Why would you want hooks of chains in you for? Why would you want Satan leading you around any which way? Don't you want to live your own life? Don't you want to be free from your past? Don't you want to be free from those things of the past and those things? And even then, maybe there's some Christians here that yeah you have been set free but you're holding on to the chain what if it's what if today's the day you finally let the chain go if that is you today I want to challenge you to come up and surrender your life to Jesus right now why would you leave with chains why would you leave in handcuffs why would you leave in hooks in you why would you want to do that today's a day of salvation right now right now I want you to come up this is the greatest day of your life most greatest moment of your life greatest chapter new chapters about to come forth right now what are we waiting for same thing for those that are watching online if that is you I

Give it a minute. Go. All pain. All pain. All pain. All pain. Lord you're gonna get to reward right now. In Jesus name. Loosen. Loosen. Loosen. In Jesus name. What do you feel right now? You can stand up straight. In Jesus name. In Jesus name. What's going on? What's going on? Right now you have pain? Let me see your hands. Watch. It's not even about my prayers. It's about him. Because this is what we're talking about of walking a supernatural life. It's not about the pastor. It's not about anything. It's about his power. It's about knowing who we are and understanding who we are and walking the authority. The fact that he gave that authority back to the church and we have that authority to cast out demons. We have the authority to lay hands on the sick. We have the authority to preach the gospel. This is for us. This is a gift for us. This isn't just another sermon to fill another Sunday. I'm teaching you something that's foundational. Lord God I thank you for this Sunday. I thank you for this moment. I thank you for this opportunity Lord God. We exalt you Lord God. And I know that you are still praying for her. Thank you for your prayers. We are grateful for you and we are grateful that we have a family that we care about. Amen. Because sometimes there are brothers and sisters in Christ who are in a physical condition where they have health problems and and no one remembers them. Because sometimes we have a lot of things to do in our lives. But thank you because you have thought about my wife and prayed for her. I know that she thanks you. Amen. Are you with me? Yes? Well, we are going to declare the next thing that is on the screen. I ask you please put your Bible in your hand and lift it up and say with me This is my Bible. It is the word of God for me. My guide. My strength. I bring it ready to learn. I open it with faith in Jesus. I live it with courage. Amen. La palabra de Dios es la que nos dio la fe para vivir. to believe in God. And it is the word of God that helps us to recognize who we are in God. Sometimes the world has a concept of who we are and who God is, but the true concept, the true reality is that the word of God is God. Amen? It clearly tells us who God is. Do you agree with me? Well, I'm going to invite you to open your Bibles en el libro de Mateo, capítulo 28, y vamos a leer ahí en ese libro unas escrituras.
Nuestros hermanos americanos dicen, What do you mean? Dicen, The proof is in the pudding.
Oh, no, Dios, yo no puedo hacerlo.
¿Verdad? You almost burst and they still don't want to give it. But you know what? A liar can't tell the other liar. Don't lie. A drunk can't tell the other drunk. You know what? You have to leave the drink. No. Right?
Brother Adam? An evil man can't tell the other evil man. Stop being evil. Right? A blind man can't tell the other blind man. Because both will fall into the well. Says Jesus. Matthew chapter 7. Let's go there. Matthew chapter 7. Are you with me? Chapter 7. Let's read verse 39 to 42. The scripture says... I think I made a mistake. I think I did. Well. Verse 1. Let's read verse 1. Chapter 7. It says... Do not judge. Why? So that they will not be judged. Because with the judgment that they judge, they will be judged. And with the measure that they measure, they will be measured. And why do you look at the straw that is in your brother's eye And do not look at the straw that is in your own eye? Or how will you say to your brother, let me take the straw out of your eye? And here is the straw in your own eye. Hypocrite! First take the straw out of your own eye, and then you will see well. To take the straw out of the eye of your brother. It says, Do not give the saints to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before the pigs.
Let them not trample them, and turn away, and destroy you. There is a scripture that says that one blind man cannot catch another blind man. He cannot do it, because both will fall into the well. The meaning of that is that we cannot walk where we have not walked, amen? Or where we are not walking. We cannot teach another person to walk in the way of the Lord If we are not walking in the way of the Lord. Do you understand? It is logical, right? It is logical. The apostle Paul said, Be imitators of me, as I of Christ. That is powerful. He could say, you know what? I follow Christ, follow me because I follow Christ. He did not say that. He said, Imitate me. In other words, imitate my faith that I have in God. Amen? As I imitate Christ. People learn not only from what we say, but from what we do. And it says in the book of Hebrews that we have a great cloud of witnesses. What does that mean? That there are many people who are watching you. You and me, and everyone who says that you are the son of God or daughter of God. They are watching us. Jesus said, For their fruits they will know them. In the time when Jesus was walking on earth, here in this world, there were pharisees, seducers, and you say desires. There were many people who were religious. And Jesus told his disciples to be careful with those people. Because those people said what they did, and they did not do what they said they did. In other words, Jesus called them hypocrites. Hypocrites.
They sent the people of God to keep certain things, but they did not keep them. Being what? Being priests or leaders. They did not do it. Now, if we want to be disciples, we have to pray. We have to read the word of God. We have to forgive completely. We have to walk in holiness, that is, abhorring evil. We have to love as God loves us. We have to serve and not wait for others to serve us. And finally, we have to remain faithful to the evidence. To the evidence.
Aquí podemos, vamos a orar por ti si tú quieres. Amén. Mientras, vamos a orar el Señor. Gracias, Señor. Te damos gracias, Señor, por este día. Nada vale más que tú, mi Señor. No hay comparación. Eres nuestro vivir. Tu presencia, Dios. He probado, visto de tu dulce amor. Tu gloria, Dios, hoy anhelamos. Ven y lléname por tu presencia, Dios. Tu presencia, Dios. Nada vale más que tú, mi Señor. No hay comparación. Eres nuestro vivir. Tu presencia, Dios.
Tu presencia, Dios. He probado, visto de tu dulce amor. We are the ones who are the most in need of your presence. Fill us with your love and presence. Fill us with your love and presence. Show us more and more of your glory. Fill us with your love and presence. Show us more and more of your glory. Holy Spirit, come here. We want nothing more from you. Your glory, God, we pray today. Come and fill me with your presence, God. Yes, Lord. We thank you, God. Thank you, my God, because until now you have not failed us, Lord, and you will never fail us. Thank you, Father, for all those who attended today, all those who have seen this service behind a screen. I ask you, Lord, that your peace be with them and that your Holy Spirit, Lord, guide us and help them to live as disciples in this world. In the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord, for your life, Father. Guard them, take care of them, protect them, and use them during the week, Lord.
In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. You are dismissed. Amen. The Holy Spirit is with you. You are not alone. You are with us. You are with us. You are with us. You are with us. Amen.
