(audience cheering) Amen, he's the one that breaks the chains. He's the one that sets us free. He's the one that demons tremble at his name. It is at his name that you have been set free. He's came to set the captive free. We're here to worship Jesus and Jesus alone. He's the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. He reigns supreme, the spirit of God is in this place. (audience cheering) Amen, amen. You know, usually we do communion at the end, but a lot of times the teachers don't get it to participate. And we want our teachers to participate. We want some of us, you want your children to participate. You know, so we're gonna have communion. This is something that we do every single first Sunday of the month, and it is the one thing that Jesus instituted us for us to do. He says, do this in remembrance of me. Do this in remembrance of me. So this is the one thing we do,
is that we have communion to remember what it is that he did on that cross. How many of you need, 'cause you should have got it when you came in, but if you need it, raise your hand. We have juice and crackers. Just hold on to it. We're gonna partake together. Amen. Amen. How many of you were sick and tired of the way Satan had you your whole life before Christ? You know, this is a good way to slap that devil in the face. It's to have communion, because it's a reminder not only for us, but it's a reminder of our previous owner that we don't belong to him anymore. You know, the Bible says that it's a new covenant, it's a new contract. It's like when you get somebody to consolidate your bills, because your bill collector keeps calling you, and they keep calling you, keep calling you, and all of a sudden, can you imagine, somebody came and says that, check it out, I'm gonna pay all your bills, don't worry about it. So all of a sudden, you got a little confidence when your phone starts ringing again, because it's like, man, you got no hold on me. This has already been paid.
This is the same thing. So every time we have communion, it's a reminder not only to us, but to the kingdom of darkness, that you no longer belong to the kingdom of darkness. If we get all pleased, stand and take out the piece of bread. It's just the piece of bread. There's nothing special about this bread, but what's special about it, is the fact of why we're doing it, because the Bible says that Jesus is the bread of life. Do you know that bread is the one thing that every continent and nation eats, even though we cook it differently, make it differently? It's the one thing that all the world eats is bread. So it's interesting that Jesus says that he is the bread of life, because he sustains us. So another thing too, guys, is that we always want to have communion with the clean conscience. We always wanna do it right. So there's nothing wrong in taking a minute, half a minute, just to say, "Lord, I wanna do this right "in the right conscience." If you came in angry, arguing with your spouse this morning, I want you to look over and just say, "You know what? "I'm sorry." Let me see who did it. Let's see who was arguing over here.
And if they're not here, be like, "Lord, you know what? "I was wrong and I'm sorry, "because I wanna do this right." And if you have offended God in any way, so let's just take a few minutes, ask God for forgiveness, 'cause we wanna have a clean conscience. Lord God, as we come together to take communion, Lord God, I pray if I have done anything against you, Lord God, in any way, whether knowingly or unknowingly, forgive me, Lord, because I wanna have a clean conscience when I do this, because this is special, this is something that you instituted for us to do, and we just thank you in Jesus' name, amen. So don't eat again. Hold on, I wanna read in Luke 22. It says this. In 19, he took the bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and he gave it to them, saying, Amen. Amen. Open the juice. Don't drink it yet. I know that cracker was dry, but hold on. This is just juice, but it's a reminder of the blood that was shed on the cross for us, his precious blood. Think about that. He shed his blood. He didn't have to die on the cross, but he did for us. Can you imagine? Because it's true. And the Bible says that it's the living blood. It's the blood of Christ that makes demons tremble. Do you realize that we are saved because we're covered in his blood? So this is not something that we joke with. This is something beautiful. This is something serious. It says in Luke 22 verse 20. And likewise, the cup after they had eaten saying this cup that has poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. This is the new covenant.
So we thank you, Lord, for this new covenant in Jesus' name. Amen. Let's partake. Amen, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We thank you for us having the opportunity to do this until you return. We thank you in Jesus' name. Amen. Let's have a seat. Welcome to our Sunday service here at House of Rest Church, where Jesus is the senior pastor. We believe there's a seat with your name on it, and we're so glad you chose to spend your Sunday morning with us. House of Rest Church was established in 2011. All Grace churches from California, Arizona, and Nevada will get together for a time of learning, encouragement, and fellowship.
At Grace at the Circle Church, at 308 South Glassell Street, Orange, California. The best part is that we encourage our House of Rest Church family to stay at the same hotel for fellowship and bonding. The hotel has a great free breakfast, pool, and hot tub. So here is the game plan. On September 27th, Sunday after service, we will make our way to the City of Orange. Flyers are available at the church with the entire itinerary for services, young adults night at David Buster's Arcade, and time in the pool. If you have any questions, please ask Pastor David or Sharon. - Good morning again, everyone. - Good morning. - Oh, everyone looks so beautiful. I'm so glad everyone's here this morning. Thank you for coming. This Grace International Conference is coming up right around the corner. And if you haven't registered, I really encourage you to register and stay at the hotel. Our House of Rest Church family is so much fun to travel with. And Grace International just always does everything with such class and elegance. The food, the content of the material that they deliver during the conference is just outstanding. So if you have an opportunity to go, you should really try to do that. A lot of people meet right after, a lot of people leave right after the Sunday service together. That is not a requirement, but that's, if you're concerned about directions
and getting there, that's just some more support, right? What else do we have going on? Tomorrow is our Labor Day picnic. So House of Rest Church, family picnic, man. If you tune in online and you don't get to come to service very often, but you're in the area and you wanna come see what the personalities of the people that you watch and see serving around the house, this is the time to come because there are really, really great people here and they truly are a family. So we encourage everyone that's in the house that can make it, anybody joining in online that's able to make it. It's gonna be tomorrow. It's at Mavis Stouffer Park. That's in Rippen. So 1,000 Stouffer Street in Rippen. It's gonna start right around 12 o'clock. You can, there's a signup sheet out front at the Welcome Center. You can also talk to Brother Felix. He can help you just kind of know people are, it's a potluck. So people are bringing stuff. You can sign up for this, that and the other. There are flyers. I don't know if you guys can see this, but they look like this.
They're out front with more information as well. So yeah, come, hang out with our family. Get to know one another. It's a great time of fellowship. So, oh, this is my favorite time always. We're gonna do the meet and greet. So we have 30 seconds. Maximize your time. Let's everyone stand up. We're gonna say hello to your neighbor. Go a little bit out of your way. Welcome anyone that's here visiting for the first time or introduce yourself. If you don't know, say hello. If you're tuning in online, Panda Adobo, YouTube, we're so glad that you're here. Thank you for joining us. (dramatic music) (people chattering) (dramatic music) (people chattering) (dramatic music) (people chattering) (dramatic music) - Amen to all those that are watching on their screens. God bless you. Thank you so much for being here with us at House of Rest Church. (dramatic music) Amen, good morning.
(people chattering) It's good to see everybody on this Sunday morning. God bless you all. Appreciate each and every one of you so much. Amen. Amen. I know we're gonna do the tithing and offering, but I know Sharon wanted to share something. Okay, I just want to remind that the children are released. So if you want to go register your children and release your children, they are released. So send them off to Sunday school because they will be bless, bless, bless, bless, bless. So send your children off to Sunday school. I want to be up here to remind everybody of sister's closet. Yes, I have a lot of women coming up to me, excited about sister's closet for our women's discipleship on the 11th. Okay, but I want to get one thing clear. This isn't your dumping ground either, okay? I want you to pick 10 to 15 of your best items that you really, really do want to bless another sister with, sisters, actually, because what we're doing, it's a sister's exchange. So, it has to be good enough for somebody else, and it's an opportunity for us to be able to be a blessing, and it's almost like if you're going to a boutique, you know? So, I want you to pick 10 to 15 items.
It can be accessories, it can be shoes, it can be clothing, dresses. Something that we can even wear for church would be awesome, but bring it. I don't want you just to come up with a big old black bag of stuff, and be like, here, I'm ready to dump it all over here. No, that's not what it's about. It's taking your time and going into your closet and saying, you know what? I really want to bless a sister with this, and take that time, and say, you know what, I think that this would be great on somebody, because I really can't use it anymore. So, bring those items on that 11th, and you know what, if you can come a few minutes early, that would be great, if you can't, that's fine. We start at 6.30, and just bring it, and we will fix it up on one of the racks, we'll fix it up on one of the tables, and we're just going to have an amazing time. We're going to go through our lessons super quick, and then we're going to spend time just fellowshiping. I do want to have it. I know women like to bring stuff to share, like little potluck style. Let's, you know, bring stuff to share, and we're just going to have an amazing time in the presence of the Lord, and just being a blessing to one another,
and having a time of fellowship. So, I'm looking forward to it. Many women are looking forward to it, so, and I'm going to bring a little camera, so we can take some pictures, and just have fun. It's going to be a fun night. I'm excited. It's going to be like a sister's night out, amen? So, have fun, let's enjoy it, and get some stuff out of that closet. I mean. (audience applauding) - Amen. I want to just quickly just share with you how much missions is important to us. We're a Grace International Church. Most of the Grace International churches are outside of the United States. That's what drew me to them. And there's so many pastors, so many different ministries to support, and there's no way we could support them all, but the ones we chose to support over the last few years has been Pastor George in India, Pastor Thomas in Nigeria, who comes every single year, and Pastor Moses from Uganda, who also comes here every single year. They consider this a second home. And all we ask is $3. You're $3, so if you're filling out your envelope, make sure you allocate $3 toward missions.
We always want to make sure that we're giving toward missions because I truly believe that we are still here as a church because we give to missions. And those dollars add up, and you have no idea how much those dollars mean in these other nations. And also the offering and the tidying. We were headed in a wrong direction financially as a church, and we are still turning the tide and going a different direction. And it has been a blessing in letting me realize not only what God wants for this church, but it lets me know that you guys, what you want out of this church too. So we're gonna bow our heads, and we're gonna pray for the missions, for the offering, tidying. Lord God, we thank you for this opportunity, Lord. First of all, we lift up Lord God, each of the missionary teams that we support, and also the ones that we don't support, Lord God, the ones that we can't support, but we thank you, Lord God, because we know, Lord God, that you will provide for them also, Lord God. Let our dollars be multiplied, Lord God, as we send them, Lord God, to through grace international, through these ministries and the amazing works that you were doing in these other nations, because you are not a God of the United States, you're God of this world, you're not even the universe can contain you, Lord God.
You are the God of all the nations, Lord God, and we thank you so much for that, Lord. We pray for the offering and the tidying. We pray that they be multiplied, that you continue, Lord God, to have a place for us in downtown Modesto. Not only for our church, but we pray for all the churches in this area and in this city, for all the leaders and pastors and the Sunday school teachers, the ushers, the greeters, the media, everybody, Lord God, the worship singers, and throughout all of this city, whether it's our church or not, Lord God, it's all your house. And we most of all, Lord God, we thank you, because you, you are the center, you are the senior pastor of this church, and this pulpit belongs to you. This pulpit is here to exalt you You are worthy, you alone are worthy of all the praise and all the honor and all the glory. Lord, I pray for the people that are here, for those that are seeking work. Lord, make a way, those that are seeking for promotions, those that are running their own business, Lord God, you know the provisions that they need. You know the sustaining they need for their families, for their selves, for their marriage, for their household, Lord God, and we know according to Scripture, you are the provider, you own all the cattle on the hill. And we just thank you, Lord God, for your provision. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
Amen, we have ushers that have envelopes. If you need one, you can get one from them, or if you have one, you can give it to them. Or if you want to walk it, there's a little mailbox right behind Felix right there. Also, there's QR codes behind your seat, makes it really easy on there. But thank you so much, God bless you. like these last four that the four week series is almost an overview but it took me about seven years to write this in deep study and deep prayer you know and and I think it's important because well we need to know who we are you know so today's is part three of the sermon series who are you identity in Christ and you know today's it's an interesting subject because part one is called the fall that was the first week then there was the finished work of the cross which is the second week last week today is spiritual warfare and you know that is something that intrigues a lot of people but I want to tell you man a lot of times I'm not gonna sensationalize it I'm not gonna Hollywood this it's not gonna be spooky you know I mean like this is gonna be what is the word of God say not what Hollywood says it's what the word of God says and I think it's important because I think most of us we we understand the fall even though we were able to preach on it we understand it we get it Adam and Eve we get that we get the we for the most part we even get what happened at the cross in the finished work it's depicted in movies you know old movies newer movies the passion of the Christ so we get that but it seems like the spiritual part we almost let Hollywood tell us what that is or we have we were taught it in fragments and we never kind of piece it together so what I want to do today is give us a deep understanding is from the fall to the cross what was happening in the supernatural realm what was happening in the things that we didn't see and not in fragments and not in the Hollywood horror movie type of thing but what does the Bible say and what was happening during that time in the spiritual realm for instance right now I see you you see me but in the spirit I believe that there are demons and angels fighting over this place right now you know so we're in this in the in the flash we're having a service but in the spirit there's a war going on so in the same way what I want to do is lay it out in a way that it's going to be practical in a way that's going to be understandable and not fragmented because a lot of times we'll see scripture or something about the demonic or something about spirits or whatever and then we'll take that one verse and we'll create something out of
it without piecing it together with everything else now here's the thing here is that here at house of rest yes I want you to be excited but I want you to learn something too you know because that's what's going to sustain you in the times of issues and the times of problems and when tribulation comes is understanding the word of God to the best of our abilities I'm gonna tell you right now if we lived to be 500 years old we would never completely understand the word of God let's start off with that there is no way there's no way we can contain God there's no way we can we can figure God out completely that is impossible because he's God but we're gonna try the best to our ability through our life that's why we pray that's why we we talk to each other that's why we talk about ideas why we read scripture that's why we try to get the context of things so I'm going to share with you in my years of reading and studying how I have seen the scriptures talk about this spiritual warfare that's going on but real quick a quick overview in the fall of part one I just want to hit some bullet points of something just to catch you up and bring you up to speed in case you haven't watched those it kind of helps make more sense in part three in the fall of part one we realize that God created mankind in his image giving Adam and Eve their identity and their purpose their authority and the dominion over the earth we know that they were created to live in relationship with God but we see that the serpent deceived them into disobeying God's command and because of that fall sin entered the And because of that sin brought death, it brought slavery to sin, it brought separation from God, destroying mankind's right, standing with God. This is in part one, and we can also realize that at the end of those things, that humanity, us humans, could not undo what Adam did. The world needed a savior, and that's what we concluded in part one, that Jesus Christ came to set the captive free, he came to defeat the works of the enemy, and he came to restore what was lost in the garden. And last week, we talked about it is finished in part two, and we see that Jesus came as the promise king and messiah, but he was rejected by the very people that he came to save. We also learned that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and undo what Satan accomplished through Adam's fall. Jesus came to undo what the, in a sense Jesus came to be a second Adam, to undo what the first Adam messed up. And at the cross, Jesus declared it is finished, and by saying that he conquered sin, he broke its power, and he freed mankind from slavery to sin, or he made a way, and through his death and his resurrection, Jesus defeated death and reclaimed the authority that belonged to Adam in the beginning. And when Jesus reclaimed it, the Bible says that he holds the keys of Hades in death, and he offers eternal life to everyone who believes.
We also learned that Jesus paid the price for the salvation, for the healing and deliverance through his suffering, through his blood, and the finished work of the cross, these are gifts to be received by faith. And Jesus succeeded where Adam failed. Adam's disobedience, Adam brought sin and death, but Jesus obedience brought forgiveness, a restored identity, reconciliation with God, he brought freedom and he brought life. So that's kind of an overview of part one and part two. But now we're entering into part three, which is spiritual warfare. What was happening behind the curtain, what was happening, you know, behind this stage, there's actually a big old room behind that screen. There's a big old hallway behind that stage, and there's another big room on that side. One would never know, there's all kinds of electronics back there that are even helping these lights and these speakers, you won't know, you don't see that. Oh, you see this microphone, there's no wire from this microphone. How is it that all this stuff is connected to Abraham back there? Because there's stuff happening in the background. So spiritual warfare is about what's happening in the background, so I want to start in 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 17. If you have it, let me know. If you don't have it, say hold on. 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 17. You know, as we go through this message, I'm excited about it because I'll tell you, for a lot of you, it's going to confirm with you already know some of you are going to hear things that you never thought of it that way, because you had never pieced this whole thing together, you know, and I'm just really excited about this, and I pray that it's going to give you a new perspective and a vision of the enemy that we fight against. 2 Corinthians 5, 17 says this, so we did part one, we did part two, so now after the finished work, this scripture applies. It says this, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, who's in Christ here? Okay, this is to you then, and if you're not yet in Christ, maybe I pray in the name of Jesus you will be before this service ends. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Doesn't say a restore, doesn't say fix, doesn't say you're patched up with duct tape. It says here that you're a new creation, so this whole thing about like, oh man, don't make me get the way I used to be, what are you talking about? You're a new creation. The old has passed away, behold, the new has come. So this is what happens after the fall, then the finished work, Jesus comes, and because we believe in him, he makes a new creation out of us, and the old has passed away. What happened in the spiritual, supernatural realm at the cross and after the cross? And we're going to talk about that. What did happen on the day of the crucifixion? What happened in the spiritual realm? And what has happened since then? And we're going to get into that, but I believe that before we even go there, we need to go to the beginning. We understand Adam and Eve, and that was happening, but in the supernatural, what was happening? We're going to tie this thing together. There's no reason for it to be mysterious or this or that. It is in the Word of God and the Word of God lays it out. The Word of God is truth. We need to understand what happened in the beginning, because we talked about the serpent in the garden, but I want to dig even deeper.
Can we go deeper? We know from Scripture that there are heavenly armies. There are heavenly armies. So I know most of the time, guys, let me say this right now, is that there's a lot I want to pack in today's message, so I'm not going to be waiting for people to find their scriptures. I'm sorry, not this time, but I'll say this. Just write it down, because I'm going to kind of go fast sometimes, because there's a lot I want to unpack here. And so I'm just going to go ahead and start unpacking some stuff, but in Psalm 46-7, it says that the Lord of Host is with us. Psalm 46-7, the Lord of Host. And it's like, what does that mean? What does that mean, the Lord of Host? Well, that word "host" is mentioned 240 to 260 times in Scripture, depending on what translation it is. So obviously, if a word is mentioned 240 times in a Bible, would you think we should look at what that means? You know what it means? It means an army. It means a multitude. It means soldiers. Huh, wait a second. 240 to 260 times, the Bible says that God is the Lord of Host, and the host means army, spiritual army, best multitude. So 240 to 260 times, it says that God is a commander, a general, and he leads an army. 240 to 260 times. It means that it portrays God by saying it that many times, it portrays God as a mighty commander leading a supernatural force. What is a soldier for, to carry out his will to enforce his justice and to protect his people. And God is a commander. He's the one that leads. And remember armies or militaries, they operate in ranks and in order. There is no disarray. There is no chaos. Everybody knows their place. Every single soldier is trained to do what he's going to do in his squad, in his team, in his branch all the way up. So, it's interesting because remember, every angelic being is a created being from God. And God created them to be soldiers. And soldiers are meant out to listen to commands and to obey and to operate in ranks and in order created for purpose and mission and operation. So every single angelic being, the Bible says that he's the Lord of armies. So we're talking about soldiers. See, demons aren't like, if you watch ghostbusters, it's an old movie. Young people are like, what's ghostbusters? They're like all these ghosts in New York and they go crazy and oh, he's slimed to me. You know what I mean? Like, oh, they're going crazy. And many of us in our generation grew up thinking demons are that way. Remember, we're not building our theology in Hollywood. We're building a theology in what scripture said.
The Bible says he's the Lord of hosts. He's the Lord of armies. Well, what are demons, fallen angels? But that can't take away the fact that they're soldiers. So again, here's another scripture, write it down. I'm going to read it. Colossians 1, 15 and 16. Colossians chapter 1, 15 and 16. Look at what it says. It says that he, talking about Jesus, he's the image of the invisible God. He's the firstborn of all creation. So we, okay, so Colossians is saying, okay, this, this, this, Jesus, the one that he's, he's God, but he's the image of the He's the image of me visible God. Okay, remember God is the Lord of hosts He's the commander So if Jesus is the image of the invisible God then Jesus is the commander. He's the one that leaves the armies and look what it says in 16 it says for by him Jesus all things were created in heaven on earth visible and Invisible so we know that Jesus is in control of not only the things that we see but the things that we don't see It says whether the thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities remember I said ranks and According to this scripture in Colossians Jesus is the image of the invisible God and not only are all things created for him and by him Even thrones and dominions and rulers and all authorities are created by him and for him It says all things were created through him and for him Godly thrones dominions principalities powers He's a lord of hosts The angelic beings or armies their soldiers ready to do his will ready to to to to do his justice So I think and believe that we it's safe to say that whether an angel was holy or fallen their soldiers They were created to operate in rank and order in dominions and in powers and in thrones and This is the thing we we we we we need to understand this in order for us to understand How the supernatural and the demonic operates we have to know how they were created
You every single Military in this United in this world never goes into a war blind. They want to know everything they can about the enemy How do they operate? How do they do things? When we fought the Vietnam War those probably soldiers here that were training in jungles The moment that they're a rack war what happened they start training in 29 palms in the in the desert because they want to understand that type of warfare and A lot of us Christians were completely oblivious to how Satan operates So wherever you're trying to cast demons out not even understanding how this world operates They are soldiers whether they are falling or not So understand that they understand commands They operate in ranks and in order Now another thing I want to get into is that you know we we think of of heaven as as God and angels But the Bible talks about other spiritual beings You know so angels are one of those spiritual beings and I just quickly quickly I'm gonna go through a few of them and again There's cherubim The Bible talks about cherubim the Bible actually says that they are guardians. How do I know that make sure it's not just David saying it What does the Bible say Genesis chapter 3 verse 24? They are guardians who drove out the man and The east and at the east of the Garden of Eden He placed the cherubim when they fell in the Garden of Eden God sent a cherubim and he placed a cherubim and a flaming Sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. So we know that these cherubim or some type of guards That's an angelic beam The Bible also talks about a seraphim Which is interesting because it's almost like a cherubim But if you looked up when you look up the original Hebrew word of what seraphim is it's a snake like angelic beam It's like a serpent a seraphim and it has wings and the Bible says they're guardians of the throne See we don't see that we don't think of that So you got cherubim who are guards now you have seraphim who are serpent like snake like with wings
And they are guarded so obviously they are very up in rank if they're in the throne room of God The snake like beans then the Bible says they're in the revelation is living creatures But it seems to be like it's talking about cherubim, but I want to mention them. It says these living creatures They seem to be the same or similar to the cherubim in the throne room of God if you read a revelation It says one have the face of a lion one has a face of you know of a human, you know, so these living beings. We're not sure Another spiritual being that it mentions is is the archangels angelic being. How do we know? Luke chapter 9, and I don't have the verse, sorry, I thought I wrote the verse down, but it says when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, oh, it wasn't Luke, it was Jude, that's right, that's why there's no chapter, because it's only one chapter. The archangel Michael contending with the devil was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said the Lord rebuke you, which interesting also about an archangel is arch angels, it seems to be, now here it is where I say it seems to be, that God has placed arch angels over nations, and the archangel Michael seems to be the archangel of Israel, again, it seems to be, so I just want to be strong enough, so these are different angelic beings, remember the Bible says that he is the Lord of hosts, the host of armies, armies operate in ranks, and we see here there's angels, then there is angels, the Bible does mention angels, what do they do, they're messengers, sometimes they're ministers, that's why the Bible says they're ministry angels, the Bible also says that they're warriors, they have swords, they fight, so we see a cherubim, seraphim, living beings, but it could be one of those arch angels, angels or messengers, warriors, ministers, so there's different types of angelic beings, and there's rankings, and each of them was made in rankings, and I don't think anybody here is an issue with that, nobody has a problem with that, you probably read about that, but then there's a controversial one that I want to talk about, I saved it for last, and this is the one where it's like sometimes it leaves us with our scratching our head, and sometimes in scripture according to Daniel they're called the watchers, anybody ever read that, who are these watchers that Daniel's talking about, Daniel also calls them the holy ones, actually the Bible in the Psalm says that the Elohim, and that's confusing because I always thought Elohim was one of God's names, right, you
have Yahweh and Shaddai, and you know, so Elohim which, see, Elohim literally just means a spiritual being, and sometimes it means plural, more than one, so Elohim is not a name of God now because God is a spirit, he can be Elohim, but Elohim doesn't necessarily mean God, it's not a name of God, it's a spiritual being, so we have the Bible, that we have the cherubim, we have the seraphim, we have the archangels, but it's interesting because here it talks about these watchers, the holy ones, the Elohim, the sons of God, the divine counsel, it's like who's that, and here's, I do want to find you the scripture because I want to make sure you read this in your Bible, Psalm 82 verse 1, and this will, like it sent me through a spiral for a minute when I first read it. Psalm 82 1, let me know when you have it, all right, here it is. Ready? It says God, or Yahweh, God, the Creator, has taken his place in the divine counsel, who's this counsel, in the midst of, what does it say, in the midst of God's, what, is he not saying? What, in the midst of God's, he holds judgment. You know, in the original language, under that word God says, in the midst of the Elohim, in the midst of these spiritual beings, so according to this, he takes his place in the divine counsel. The trinity doesn't hold judgment against each other. So it can't be the trinity. The trinity does not judge each other. God has taken his place. Yahweh has taken his place in the divine council in the midst of the yellow heim. He holds judgment. In other words, the scripture is saying that even though these other spiritual beings have some type of authority, some type of ranking, but Yahweh himself, he's the only one that holds judgment.
He is a supreme being, he is God, he's a creator. There is none like him. Anybody, is this your first time reading some of you this scripture? Okay. See, this is why I say like, this is why something like this, we have to be not in fragments. It has to be laid out from the beginning to end because I don't want to bring confusion. I want to bring clarity. So we know that the share of him, their seraphim, there's arch angels, there's angels and their messengers and their soldiers. And then there's this sons of God, this divine council that somehow they're in a council with God, but yet it's very clear here that it's God that holds judgment. He's the one to control. Now we don't have to time to break this whole thing down, but I will say to you that it's interesting that the sons of God are mentioned in the book of Job. You know what's weird? It says a Satan was with them. Huh, now I could be speculating, but this divine council, this Elohim, these sons of God, could it be that they're high ranking? Could it be that Satan was one of them, one of those fallen sons of God? It's interesting that he showed up
as a serpent in the garden that some of these guardians were called seraphim, they were serpent-like with wings. Interesting. It says here in the Bible it says that the serpent was there in the beginning. And this seraphim was in the throne of God, they were snake-like angelic beings. So who is this serpent? Who is this deceiver that was there? Now we have an understanding of these angelic beings. Now we have a glimpse. Who is this? I'ma go ahead and read it and he's write this down. Ezekiel chapter 28 verse 11 through 17. Ezekiel 28 11 through 17 gives us a glimpse and this is gonna be interesting. And look what this says. Now, I could be completely wrong and this is not talking about Satan. Maybe it's talking about something else. Maybe I'm taking out a context. Maybe I show up to heaven and God's like, "Man, you got that all wrong, dude." But if I'm right, check this out. It says, "Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me." Ezekiel 28 11 17. It says, "Son of man, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God.'" So many scholars have said,
he's not talking about saying. He's talking about a king. It says right there, the king of Tyre. Well, okay. If he's saying this to a man, why would he say this? And he says this to the king of Tyre. He says, this is God talking. You were the signet of perfection. You were full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. Hmm. Okay, maybe he was a beautiful man. But what about this? You were in Eden. You were in Eden, the garden of God. So there's no mistake of what place he's talking about. And he says, "Every precious stone was you're covering." So whoever this being was, stones, beautiful, precious stones were made in his body. Now remember, the word Satan means a serpent. Or the word, the name of Nahash, it was actually the original Hebrew that says, it says it's a serpent, it was the shining one. And the deceiver. So think about that. That's what Nahash means. That's what Satan means. That's what serpent means in the Genesis. And God says, "You were in Eden, the garden of God. "Every precious stone was you're covering.
"Sardius, Topaz, Diamond, Barrow, Onyx, Jasper, "Safire, Emerald, Carbunkle, and crafted in gold "were your settings and your engravings." Oh man, keeps going. You were an anointed guardian? Share up. What do we just learn by heaven? Sharerben, guardians, seraphim, archangels, angels, sons of God, Elohim. And God is saying you were the anointed, you know what anointed means, the chosen one. So out of all of the angelic beings, there was one that God chose over the other, one that he trusted over all of the others, one that was more beautiful than all of the others. So think about this, if, okay, how many of you have little kids? Would you let anybody watch them? Are you gonna be very picky? If somebody's gonna babysit your daughter, your son, are you gonna be super careful? So God creates Adam and Eve, creates the garden, his most precious thing he's ever created. And he says, "Who do I trust to watch my babies?" Oh my anointed one, the one that's the most beautiful of all. I want you to come. I'm gonna place you in the garden because I want you to take care of my most precious creation. You were an anointed guardian sheriff. I placed you and you were on the holy mountain of God
in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. And look what he says, "You were blameless in your ways, "from the day you recreated." You know what blameless means? There was no fault in you. He says, "Until unrighteousness was found in you." And in the abundance of your trade, you were filled with violence in your midst and you sinned. So I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God and I destroyed you, O guardian sheriff, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty and you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor and I cast you to the ground. I exposed you before kings to feast their eyes on you. The Lord might tell me someday I got that all wrong but I don't know anyone else that was in the garden of Eden 'cause he wasn't talking to Adam, he's not talking to Eve. In Isaiah chapter 14, verse 12 and 14, give us even more insight. Isaiah chapter 14, 12 and 14, I'm gonna go ahead and read it. And look what this says. God says, "How you were fallen from heaven, "o day star son of dawn, "how you were cut down to the ground, "you who laid the nations low. "You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven above the stars of God. "I will set my throne on high. "I will sit on the mountain of the assembly
"and the far reaches of the north. "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. "I will make myself like the most high." He wanted to be like God so bad. When I read the book of Genesis and I see the fog would happen to Adam and Eve, I used to think it was about Adam and Eve, had nothing to do with Adam and Eve. It was about the very most trusted sheriff, the most beautiful of all, creating the biggest betrayal ever. The one that was trusted the most was put in there and he says, "I know how to hurt God. "I will hurt his most precious creation." And I will cause him to sin. How are you gonna love them more than me? They're made from mud. They're made from mud. And I'm made with all the precious stones and look how beautiful I am and you're gonna love them. I will cause them to sin. I will cause them to eat from the tree and I will take authority over this earth and I will be like God. (audience murmurs) Wow. You know what? (grunts) Hold on.
(laughs) It's an interesting next few chapters because it basically says that humanity grew and men became evil. And we all think like, oh, that's why there was a flood. Because of this. Because of a man being evil and it was horrible and there was sin on his earth. But if God drowned everyone because of sin, he would have to drown us every week because of the wickedness of men. So it had to be something deeper, had to be something more sinister than just sin. It had to be something so bad that God said, I gotta completely start over. And if we just skim through the next chapters, we miss it because we think, oh, Adam and Eve fell, they call sin and Cain killed Abel and people were killing each other. So God got tired of it and he's like, let me flood everybody, let me kill everybody and that's it, let me start over. But we miss something, we miss it. Something happened that should have never happened in Genesis 6-2. Write it down, I'm gonna read it. Genesis 6-2 says, "When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God." Huh, the sons of God, this positive, the sons of God, could it be the council, could it be the Elohim, could it be the spiritual beings? Even in the book of Job, it says, "When the sons of God and Satan was among them, the sons of God saw the daughters of man that they were attractive and they took as their wives as they chose." And then the Lord said, "When God saw that happen, the Lord said, "My spirit shall not abide in man forever for his flesh, his day shall be 120 years." And verse 4 says, "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward." Why? "When the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them, these were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown." This was horrible, this is horrendous because think about this, what greater thing could Satan do to corrupt Adam and Eve who God loves so much than to corrupt their very DNA, to make a monstrosity out of God's creation? And according to this in Genesis, they came and children were created and children, there was no birth control back then, and they began to spread this monstrosity, this mixture of beings, a supernatural being with the fleshly being and creating something. Now, there's more to talk about there, but again, we would take many more sermons out of this. Verse 5, Genesis 6, verse 5, "The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually, and the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth and had grieved him to his heart." So the Lord said, "I will blot man out who I created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the year, for I am sorry that I made them." This is a situation, this is a horrible situation, we know according to Scripture, I don't have the Scripture, the Bible says that there's demons that God has locked in the dungeon inside of the earth ever since then because they were so wild, he couldn't even let them roam this earth. We think Satan's bad, there's demons that are worse off, that are in chains right now because of what they did back then, and the flood happened. Now, why am I talking about this? Because this is interesting, because this goes from the fall all the way to happen to Jesus, this is tying things in, this is not fragmented, this is falling in line of what we see. happen because God because it had corrupted the very DNA of mankind. They were monsters. Jude 6? It says what? - And the angels was kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation. He had to serve the ever-masking chains under darkness under the judgment of the great day.
- There it is. - 6, scripture. Peter 2.4? Do you have it open? What does it say? There it is there. That's two scriptures, that's Bible. Here's what's interesting though. Now, this part, a lot of people never heard this. Do you know that Jewish scholars, do you know what they believe are demons? See, we, at least the way I was raised, I thought demons were these, the sons of God, the fallen ones, two-thirds of the angels, or whatever. And those are the demons. And so, here's what didn't make sense as a mature adult and a mature Christian. So you're telling me that this demon who is, 'cause remember, they're soldiers, they're made and ranked, so these are high-ranking demons. And they're just like, yeah, I'm gonna, what are you gonna do? I'm gonna possess somebody in a alley. And I'm gonna make them go bathroom themselves, and I'm just gonna torment them. (audience laughing) Really? You're a high-ranking demon. That's what you're, that's what you're planning.
Yeah, and then when they die, then I'll just move on to the next. No. No. Now, Jewish scholars believe, again, they could be wrong, but it's interesting that they believe that the demons are not the ones that came from heaven, but they're the spirits of the Nephilim. The spirit of these, these half spiritual, half human. They lost their bodies, now they have no body. So now they desire and have carnal passions, but they have no body. So the only way they can experience it is through you and to me. Is another scripture? What is it? Revelation 9, 14 and 15. (audience member speaking) Yeah. Yeah, it's drying up. Yeah. Remember how Jesus said, "Oh, that person has an unclean spirit?" How many times have you read Jesus say those words? Why does he say unclean spirit? Because an unclean spirit in that language is a mixed being. It's something that is unclean. It's not this and it's not that, it's an unclean spirit. So even by definition, when Jesus was casting out an unclean spirit,
he wasn't casting out a demon that fell from heaven. He was casting out this spirit that was unclean. Okay, I don't want to take too long on this. I'm just laying this out because, like I said, I'm going to lay it out from the beginning all the way to the end so we understand where we're at in spiritual warfare today. Deuteronomy chapter 32 eight, write it down. Deuteronomy 32 eight says this. It says, "When the most high," who's the most high? God? Okay, "when the most high gave to the nations "their inheritance. "When he divided mankind, "he fixed the borders of the peoples. "So the only time we see in scripture "that mankind was divided was of the tower of Babel." See, we always concentrate on the fall, on the fall of Adam and Eve, and that's it, but actually there was three things that led to us to our state that we're in. There was the fall, there was the flood, and then there was a tower of Babel. Okay, "When God gave to the nations their inheritance," he says, "You know what? "Since you want to build a tower, "you try to be like me, "you're being exactly like the way "that clown was trying to be." So you know what, I'll tell you what,
you want to be a nation without God, I'll let you be a nation without God. I'll let you do and see. our parents are sick and tired of us, 'cause we think we're smarter and we know everything when we're teenagers, I did. I thought I was like new everything, and there's a point where your parents will say, "You know what? Go ahead. Go ahead, let's see how you do." See, this is God doing this to the nations. He says, "You wanna continue to be wicked and continue to do things? I'll let you do things without your own." I'll give you your inheritance. When he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the people. This is what's interesting, according to the number of the sons of God. So these sons of God. So God's like, okay. So these nations wanna be disobedient. You clowns wanna be disobedient. Let me introduce you guys. You wanna be a God? Fine, go be a God to them because they don't want me. So each of these nations were divided, and each of these sons of God that were fallen became gods to them.
It's like God says, fine. Go handle it. And those demons, actually the Bible says that those demons became gods. And those gods were just demons. We have names like Molech and Chemash and Beow and Ra and Artemis and Astra and Daegon and more. So ever since the fall, the Bible says as Satan was and still is the God of this world. That's Bible. So God says, fine. You nations, demons, sons of God, whatever you are, have at it. So people have said why did God choose Israel? Israel wasn't even a nation. Israel didn't even exist. All these were allocated to these demons. All of these are allocated. They want nothing to do with God. And God is like, okay, fine. Because I will find a man. And I will raise up my own nation. And I will bless him and whoever blesses him, I will bless whoever curses him, I will curse. And I'm not gonna do this because you're special Abraham. I'm doing it because the one that's gonna come through you is special because I can't be born in this nation, I can't be born through this nation. I will raise up a people and I will be born
through that nation and I will become a light for all the nations so they can all know and understand who I am. This is the plan. Makes sense, right? So ever since the false saying has been the God of this world, so how does that put us? Well, perfect example, those of us who are in Christ, it's like, so what do you mean sayings that God of this world? So I got a bow down to Satan. I'm here on this world. No, because Jesus says you're in heavenly places through Christ Jesus. We're not citizens of this world. We're just passing through. We're not of this world. We're seated with Christ. Yeah, while we're alive, our bodies are here behind enemy lines, but our spirit is in his presence. Okay, okay, David, this is starting. I'm tracking with you. This is making sense, man. That's crazy from all the way from the fall and then the flood and then the tower of Babel and then demons and that's why they worship these demons. That's why they would sacrifice to their gods because that's all they knew and that's why God raised up Israel and Abraham because he had to be born because he was gonna come
and lay prophecy. He had to pick a nation to none of them were good enough. So he had to create his own nation so he can be born because he anointed what had to come through this nation and he had to kind of set the captive free. Okay, it makes sense. And then Jesus stood, he opened the Isaiah and he settled today. This day is happening and now Satan is mad. And they take him to the cross and he's at the cross and he's stretched out. And I imagine all of these little demons and things that used to follow him, they were disobedient to him. They're just probably all hidden, just look at him suffering, look at him. How we got him, we got him. And Jesus stretched his arms wide and he says it is finished. It is finished. It is finished. Everything you clowns have been doing all the way from the beginning, it is finished. I came to set the captive free. I came to make everything right. I came to set the stage and the keys of Hades and death are mine. I take all authority back. Now we see that. We see that when we watch Jesus and Adam movie
or the passion of the Christ, we see that. But what was happening in the background? In Revelation chapter 12, verse seven and 12, we're gonna read it and I'm like in a wait. Revelation chapter 12. What happened at the cross? This is now war arose in heaven. The war happened in the beginning. Really, let's keep reading. Are you sure? 'Cause that's the way I was brought up to think that the war happened in the very beginning. But hold on, let's read. Forget what David says, what does Bible say. War rose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. Ooh. And the dragon and his angels fought back. Oh man, it's a war. But he was defeated. And there was no longer any place for them in heaven. So they're kicked out. Wow, so when did that happen? Look at this. And the great dragon was thrown down that ancient serpent. Past tense. Why would it call him the ancient serpent if this had happened from the beginning of time? This didn't happen at the beginning of time.
This happened at the cross. Saint had access back and forth into heaven. We see it in the book of Job. It says that when God was there in his throne that the sons of God and Satan was there. So Satan had access into heaven. But right here it says something different. The great dragon was thrown down. That ancient serpent who was called the devil and saying the deceiver of the world. He was thrown down to the earth and his angels were thrown down with him. Okay, okay, David, I tracked. But how does that mean it happened at the cross or sometime during those three days that Jesus is in the grave? It says, "And I heard a loud voice in heaven." They say, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come." When did salvation come? At the cross and the resurrection. So there's this war that's happening. There's this war and they're fighting back in this and that. And all of a sudden, Satan gets thrown out and they say, "Now salvation has come." That didn't happen. Salvation didn't happen at the fall. For the accuser of our brothers. This is the angelic being saying,
"Man, the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down." He's finally out of here. All the angels are happy. They're like, "Man, this dude, all he does is come in here and just drop dimes on people." Oh, he's talking about Job and talking about this and talking about that. Access back and forth and this and that. But now he's thrown out and they are so happy. They're like, "Man, that accuser, that clown, he is thrown down. He accuses him day and night before a God." How did they do it? It says 11, "They have conquered him by the blood of the lamb." When was the blood of lamb shed? Calvary. So this fighting between these angelic beings, nobody was winning. Oh, but the blood. Oh, but the blood. All of a sudden, the blood came. And they conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. But they love not their lives, even up to death. So all of heaven started partying at this point. They're like, "Man, that dude got 86 out of here." And all heaven starts rejoicing. Look at this verse 12, "Therefore, rejoice O heavens and you who dwell in them." Let's party, let's party.
But, oh man, he got thrown to the earth. But woe to you, O earth, and see, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath because he knows that his time is short. Okay, be careful, guys. I know some people preach this. I'm gonna say be careful. I don't think they mean it this way or not. But a lot of time, preachers are saying, "Sayings already been defeated." Now, that's a half truth. He was defeated in heaven. We just read that. But he was thrown down to this earth. He's not defeated here. Matter of fact, the Bible says that he's the God of this world. You know why that's a dangerous lie to preach? Because the moment you say, "Sayings defeated," you put your guard down. You put your guard down. See, when I go around these streets in Modesto and I go to the West Side and put gas for that, or you think I'm just not looking around. Man, my head's on swivel. I walk into Walmart. I know everybody is walking in Walmart. I walk in. I'm like, "Okay, okay, okay, it's safe." You know what I'm saying? I tell my wife, "Let's go sit down."
I'm gonna sit where I can watch that front door. I gotta make sure things are watching. My guard's up because I gotta protect my wife. But if somebody would come along and say, "Hey man, there ain't no enemies, there ain't no gangs, "there ain't nothing anymore. "Everybody loves you this and that. "I'm gonna let my guard down." And the moment I let my guard down, bam, there it goes. That's a dangerous teaching. When you say, "Sayings defeated," because he is still the God of this world, and his wrath is plenty. So we gotta have our boots tied up. hours ago. Oh, there's a part four tomorrow, next Sunday, not tomorrow. Tomorrow's barbecue. Okay, did that bring clarity? Amen. So now the fall happened, we get it. Jesus came, died for us, took the deed from the enemy, gave it back to the church and said, "All authority has been given unto you. We have been given that authority." How do we know that? Because it's like in the same way the sheriff wears a badge, we wear the spirit of God on us. That's why I can go and serve in a fiction notice to Satan. Not because I'm somebody special, it's because of the what backs me up, the badge that backs me up. That's why you will hear me say, "I serve in a fiction notice to the sickness. I serve in a fiction notice to this filthy spirit. I serve in a fiction notice to the spirit of whatever it is, whatever vice it is, or whatever habit, or whatever drug addiction, or whatever it is. I evict this spirit in the name of Jesus." Why? Because I have been given authority and you have been given authority. Because Jesus gave it authority back to the church. Let's back up. Demons and we're angels. Angels were army. Armies were made to listen to commands. That's right. Do you see why that's so important now? I will not argue with a
demon. I will not have conversations with a demon. I will not build my theology about deliverance from demons. I don't care what a demon has to say. That a general care what the private has to say? No. The private has to listen to what the general says. And the Bible says that we are the body of Christ and He has all authority. He's given authority to the church and everything on this earth is beneath our feet. So when I come across something then you command it because you have that right because you are a son of God and a daughter of God. So Ephesians chapter 6, 10 and 18. Here it is. This is wrapping this up as we're getting to that place. Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10 and 18. I know that we're baptizing too. You guys can go ahead and get ready because we're kind of coming too close here. Ephesians 6, 10. Look at this. Now this is to us. Now that we understand this, look, check this out. Paul says finally he says be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might and put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Why? For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. There it is. We just read about this. We just understood this. We just broke this thing down. But remember we said in the beginning that Jesus, all things were made by Him and for Him, thrones and dominions and principalities. Jesus is over all things but nevertheless on this earth. We don't fight against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. So what do we do? Verse 13 lets us know. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand firm. Stand therefore having fastened on the belt of truth. So number one we can't fight without truth. And the only way you can have truth is the word of God. Jesus is truth. He is the only truth. There is no other truth. So we put on the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. What does righteousness mean? To be in right standing with God. So we're gonna have truth and we're gonna be in right
standing with God. And as for your feet, having put on the readiness be given by the gospel of peace. Be like, man, I'm ready. Let's rock and roll. And in 16 says, "In all circumstances, take up the shield of faith, which which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one." How do you do that? How do you fight against the darts of the enemy? He's throwing them to your children. He's throwing them to your grandchildren. He's throwing them to your family, to your health, to your house, to your money, to your job, to your everything. How do you do that by having faith? I have faith. I have faith because if I have faith, you're dartsing in a hit my family. If I have faith, you're dartsing in a hit my children. If I have faith, you're dartsing in a hit my health. If I have faith, I got the shield of faith. (audience applauds) And 17 says, "Take the helmet of salvation." That, I love the fact that salvation is represented over your head because that's where the fight happens in your head. Man, I am saved. I'm saved by the blood of Christ. There's nothing you can do. I have the helmet of salvation on and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.
That's how you're gonna destroy the enemy by your word, by your word, by your word that you study and you read and you understand it. And that way you can lay commands out to that enemy and that enemy has to bow down. 18 says praying at all times in the spirit, with all prayer and supplication, to that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. Church, we are at war. We are at war. And we are fighting against things that have existed for a long time and has more wisdom than us in a sense, worldly wisdom because we've only lived so long, but they have lived for generations, generations. And how do we fight against something like that? How do we do it? How can we come against it? And sometimes I get it how people can get scared and they're like, oh man, demons are attacking me and they're attacking my home and maybe I shouldn't serve God and maybe this and maybe that and these demons are so strong. And I've seen people possess, they can pick up heavy things and throw them and that is scary. How do we do that? Well, I'm gonna tell you right now in John 15, 18. We're gonna finish it up with this. Jesus says, and He's saying this to you.
He's saying this to me. If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. And if you are of the world, the world would love you as its own. This is Jesus saying this. He says, but because you're not of the world, but I chose you out of the world. Therefore the world hates you. And remember the word that I said to you, a servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. Guys, don't be freaked out if the world hates you. They hated him first. You know, back in the day, if somebody hated my homeboy, then you better hate me too. You better hate me too. Well, you know what? That's the mentality I grew up with. So when I gave my life to the Lord, I'm like, Lord, if they hate you, then they better hate me too. 'Cause I'm gonna ride with you because you saved me. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But in all these things they will do to you
on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me. And if I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me, hates my father also. You cannot serve God and reject Jesus. You cannot worship Allah and ignore Jesus. You cannot worship anything else. Jesus says, I am the way, I am the truth and I am the life. And no one will come to the Father except through me because he's the one that shed his blood on the cross. He's the one that took back all authority from the enemy. He's the one that death couldn't hold them down. The Bible says that an angel came and rolled the stone away and he came out in power. It is him, it is him, it is him alone. Let's all stand church. If anybody, If anybody Today is a day of salvation. Tomorrow is not promised. If you would like to give your life to the Lord, man, I don't know about you, man, but you know what's a good day? Say, "Man, I gave my life to the Lord on part three of spiritual warfare, and I just changed my address from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. And I would be honored to lead you to the Lord right now, right now, come on, don't let the enemy stop you right now.
If there's anyone here, I want to challenge you to come up front. You don't have to, but I challenge you, and we can just do this right now. There's not a special prayer. There's not anything, but I can lead you in that prayer, and it'll be the biggest day of your entire life." And if there's nobody, then there's somebody could be on the screen right now, somebody could be in their jail cell, in their prison cell, in their hotel room, in their car, right now, in their bedroom. And if that is you, I want you to repeat after me and say, "Lord God, I repent of all my sins. I believe you died on the cross, and after three days, you rose again. Take out my heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh. Make me bring you, because I want to serve you for the rest of my life in Jesus' mighty name." Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to Him. Church, the altar is open. Why don't we come? I want to invite you to come. Come up. Let's have a moment of prayer. Bring some more. Bring a family there. Bring a friend. Grab your spouse and bring them up. Grab your kids and bring them up. Come on up. Come on up. Come on up.

Some of you need restoration. Some of you need peace. Some of you have insomnia, you haven't slept at night, you're fighting through it, you're fighting through anxiety, you're fighting through depression, you're fighting through so many different emotions. I want you to come. If that's you, come. Come. Come. Father, we thank You. We thank You tonight. Lord, we thank You. Lord, You are the God that is above all God. There is none like You. Let's make this a house of prayer. Right now, Father, right now in the name of Jesus, Father, we need deliverance in our homes, Father, we need deliverance in our homes, Father, we need clarity right now. We thank You. Come and surrender. Come and surrender. What do You need from Him? What do You need from God? Father, we thank You. As we celebrate a new life for my brother who's about to be baptized, Father, we just speak life and health over his family, Father, we speak peace and straight, Lord God, Father, right now over a new life and a new heart, Father, we thank You for everything You're getting ready to do through this family. I'll go over more. So the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord. This is verse one. Arise and go down to the potter's house.
And there I will let you hear my words. So I went down to the potter's house. And there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was making. He was born in the potter's hand. And he rewarded. Enter another vessel. And it seemed good to the potter to do. Then the word of the Lord came to me. Oh house of Israel. I'm going more. I just noticed that. Can I not do with you as potter has done? The clear is the Lord. Behold, like to claim the potter's hand. So are you in the hand. So I read this and then. It was a blessing. I don't have an decision. So. Jeremiah, he goes in there. He goes into the place. He sees a potter. Formism clay. The clay is spoiled. So he sees the man. He sees the man. What is the potter? What does he do? A potter is. Well, he kind of explained it. The potter is someone who. He forms. The item. He forms. With some clay. It's not only what you do with your hands. I know because I say. I've been in the class before.
You're standing in the class. But. They get the clay. They put it on top of a desk. It's a ball clay. They throw water on the water. And they start forming. With the clay, they stretch it. They widen it. They pull it. And they start forming something. Sometimes they even use tools with that. They take it to an oven called a kiln. - And what that killing does, it cooks the-- - It's okay, it's so easy, it dries the clay, like it cooks it. - (speaks in foreign language) - And then, he revo, primary it, (speaks in foreign language) and then take it back again to the oven. (speaks in foreign language) And then, he revo, they bring it out again, (speaks in foreign language) and they put coloring in the pouring color. So Jeremiah, (speaks in foreign language) he sees that this clay was no good. (speaks in foreign language) - And sometimes, what do we do with stuff that has no good? (speaks in foreign language) - We toss it, (speaks in foreign language)
we burn it, (speaks in foreign language) we get rid of it. (speaks in foreign language) Why, because there's no use for it. (speaks in foreign language) And there's stuff that we do have. (speaks in foreign language) Now, we just can't get rid of it. (speaks in foreign language) Because it helps us to mental value to us. (speaks in foreign language) It could be example, (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) - It could be a ring, it could be-- (speaks in foreign language) - You hold dear to your heart. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) And that's what we are. (speaks in foreign language) We are God's masterpiece. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) I like that, brother. (speaks in foreign language) And see, there are moments in (speaks in foreign language) in the Bible that talk about broken people. (speaks in foreign language) For one example, if you guys can open your books to-- (speaks in foreign language)
Mark, chapter eight. (speaks in foreign language) And this story was about a blind man. (speaks in foreign language) A man I couldn't see. (speaks in foreign language) He had no vision. (speaks in foreign language) But no matter what, if he had no vision. (speaks in foreign language) God saw a word in him. (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) So Jesus goes to this man. (speaks in foreign language) 'Cause this man asked Jesus, can you give me vision? (speaks in foreign language) And of course, Jesus is like man. (speaks in foreign language) Yes, I will. (speaks in foreign language) So he goes to the man, (speaks in foreign language) He spits in his hand. (speaks in foreign language) And he wipes the eyes of the man. (speaks in foreign language) And then he asks the man. (speaks in foreign language)
Can you see? (speaks in foreign language) And the man says, (speaks in foreign language) I can see, (speaks in foreign language) by everything that I see, it looks blurry. (speaks in foreign language) So then again, (speaks in foreign language) Jesus said, (speaks in foreign language) Can you see? Wipes his eyes again. (speaks in foreign language) And so the man, (speaks in foreign language) Now you can see now (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) His eyes were open. (speaks in foreign language) Vision restored. (speaks in foreign language) He didn't just was happy, he was excited. (speaks in foreign language) No soup, okay, (speaks in foreign language) When something like that happens to you, (speaks in foreign language) You're not just happy. You're excited. (speaks in foreign language) It's just you're happy. (speaks in foreign language) You're sorry for leaves. your eyes. Porque do savio to soho's. God gave you the vision. Dio said your
la vision. There was a purpose while he was there. Adi un porposito porque eses señor esta vayi. And he got that purpose. Y el tresibiose porposito. Ooh, come on. Not only did Jesus open his eyes... No solamente que su le abreos usoho's. Jesus gave him faith. Deo fe. When a miracle like that happens... You can't just be quiet. No puedes caierte. There's joy. Eigoso. And that was only one story. The second story, and you guys don't have to go there. I got it right here. I'll say it for you. Yuela tengo qui en min notes. In Mark chapter 12, en marco es capito lo dosa. Verses 41-44. It doesn't matter if you were sick. It doesn't matter if you could talk. He sees a lot more than what you see in yourself, or what others see. I remember a couple of times ago, maybe like 15 years ago. My mom is a collector of nut crackers. They say they're not crackers. What they are. I tried the name and nobody. It says they're not crackers, right? So I tried it. So you looked at it. I got a walnut, you said, I got a little mano nut cracker, the nut cracker, and I shoved it in there and you know how in the back, the nut cracker has the nut cracker. That thing. I used that and I question it. I pushed my hardest. I pushed my hardest. Man, you know what? That thing didn't work. The back broke off. The jaw snapped off like he had. That's it. And there was a big old crack by the mouth. So what did I try to do? In this case, I tried to get some superglue
I glued the mouth. I glued the back and I put it back on and I put it back on and it looked like it worked. But no matter what, I could look that certain way, but there was a crack right there. It was still broken. You couldn't hide it. There's some of us that we can look good. You can dress good. You can add good. But there's still some brokenness in you. You don't need to show it. Sometimes a vicious. Our pain. And some people run to other things but God. To cover that. So they forget. And then some. And I'll go knows. Some they forget. They forget to go to God. Why? Because they get too busy. They don't pray as much. They don't see God as much. No. They have forgotten to stay close to him. They're just saying. What's another man's trash? There's another man's treasure. All of us have been hurt. Abused. Let down. And we all have experienced in our life. Life happens. But even if life has happened. We still see what God's doing. We still see.
He's restoring. You're broken. Masterpiece, you're never too broken. Here's another example. There was a man in the Bible. His hand was withered. A withered hand is a smaller hand. It's a smaller hand. I'm laughing because every single time I think of a withered hand, there's a movie. So the man has a withered hand. He tells the man. Come to me. He grabs the man's hand. He grabs it. He's pulling it. Can you imagine, if you were that man, to feel your bones and muscles, extend, when the man of God is pulling it. muscles and tendons and was being pulled for us you feel it and that man it felt from little arm to little hand to now that the name of the man of the chica that the name of the man of the regular to now a regular hand man praise God glory to us sometimes we ourselves need to reach out to God this is Jesus
only Jesus can fix our problem our situation and even our bodies he wants to fix us we just need to be up to it we just need to be up to it there's a show that I like watching I haven't seen it in a while but they will go and get old things, cars we are getting old stuff and a bunch of old-school stuff and it was dirty it was rotten it was stuff that you would probably throw away I would throw stuff and these men I would throw it away they would take that the item fix it up and then later on try to sell it but when they sold it, it wasn't I used to look it looked brand new it looked like it can work it was restored and Ezekiel 36 verse 26
verse 26 verse 26 verse 26 and the word of God says and I will give you a new heart what was the scripture? verse 26 and the word of God says and I will give you a new heart a new spirit and I will put within you and give you a heart of flesh when God restores us he gives us a new heart a new vision a new spirit a heart that is soft a heart that understands more that is not hardened that is sensitive that is not true that is not true that is not true Let's go to Jeremiah 31.25. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] 31.25. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Praise God. So see, God gives us--
[SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] A new way of life. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Everything that was no longer-- [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] We are a new man, a new creation. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] And the word says right here. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] For I was satisfied that we're in Seoul-- [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] And every language in Seoul-- [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Every language in Seoul, I will replenish. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Yeah, I read it. I read it. So God is our place to rest. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE]
[SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Our shadow to hide in. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] And that when we are tired-- [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] We can relax in him. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] He's there to help us. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] He's there to fix us. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] He's there to replace every single crack. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Every hole. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] Every branch he puts back. [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] He is our restorer.
[SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE] [SPEAKING PORTUGUESE]

It's a misunderstanding. It's important to us. And he doesn't want you. He'll not carry. Just sit there. Get to know Master Chiantes. I said, no, it's time to get off the bench. It's simple. They live and turn on the lavancas. And go talk. You have a lot of love. It doesn't have to be up here. Not in the case that I came up a lot of forma. It doesn't have to be at church. Not in the case that I'm a glacier. You can do what I did at the grocery store to purchase a seller. And on the end of the Mercado. And if you want easy to get this. Maybe one day you can go with me and we'll go to the to the free market. I'm not good at speaking, but I will. You're not safe. When I'm but I'm not better. You're a little. And we'll go talk. If I'm going to see, I'm going to head to. But it's time to tell your story.
For a simple that they see to a story. It's time to a simple. Let your story be heard to a story. See us. It's time to share your faith. It's simple. They compare to to. With family, confirm, with friends, con amigos with coworkers. Or could just compare the travel. Or even a stranger. I own unestrana. It's time to step out. It's simple. The tomorrow pass on.
