from death to life and not only Easter do we celebrate that Jesus rose again but we're here today we're gonna end the series today will with your testimony and we've had five weeks of testimonies where God has done the impossible and every story different every story powerful every story unique and in our hearts are that God reminds you that you have a story and I want to say this real quick if you're here and you don't you came with a friend and you're like what is all this I don't know the words to the song but this is kind of cool being at the beach come on and and you don't know the love of God I just want to tell you today that God loves you and God wants to raise you back to life there's no there's no sinner that he can't save there's no sin that he can't forgive you haven't run too far from him you haven't fallen When you know, I'm telling you, he loves you and his grace and his mercy pursues us. And Will, today, when I was laying out this series, I was like, I want Will to go last. At the beach, I want this story to be the story at the beach. And so I'm telling you, I was in my car just praying and I just felt God so strong and God came upon me. I couldn't stop. I just couldn't stop weeping, man. I just believe God is going to do a major, major work today. And so I would just ask you guys today, we gave you the view. Do you like this? I've never seen it done like this out of all the concerts I've ever been to here, we're looking this way. All the times we've had church on the beach, we're looking this way. And I want to I want to say a shout out to our creative team. They're like, let's flip it. Come on, you do better than that. Put your hands together. Come on. So you guys get the view. You know, the only thing be better if the Blue Angels just came by. So come on. That wouldn't hurt your feelings, would it? OK, all right.
Will, I want to get out of the way. You have an incredible story and we're so glad that you're at our church and we love you, man. We love you. I just share your story with us today. Would you do that? It is powerful and it is going to go into people's hearts and it's going to change minds. It's going to change lives and it's going to change generations. Sure. Share your story with us. Thank you so much, man. It's hard to believe that, you know, three and a half years ago where I was to where I am now. But it's just proof that, you know, nobody's ever too far gone for Jesus. Amen. So I'm going to pray and then I want to get started, man. Father God, thank you so much for this opportunity. You're such a good God. And I hope that today, as I give my story, in reality, it's your story. And I pray that today, if there's anybody in the crowd who has a loved one that is struggling with addictions, that the story would give them hope that it would encourage them and let them know that nobody's ever too far gone. God, that your hand has not lost his grip, that your arm is not too short to reach them. And if there's somebody in the crowd that is struggling with addiction, God, that they would realize they don't have to stay bound forever. Lord, that there is freedom in your name, that they'd call on him in Jesus name. Amen. It's going to be good. Get ready. So, yeah, my my story is self-inflicted and it's not because that I grew up in a broken home or I was abused or neglected. Man, my parents loved the socks off me and they they provided everything for me. They protected me. And it's just I don't know. I really can't explain why I was drawn to rebellion like I was at such a young age. A lot of it was depression. And, you know, 30 years ago, it's like, what is that? Get over it. Stop being sad. But and so and you don't really know how to talk to the kid, especially a teenager, you know, to your parents about stuff like that. But they loved me through that, even though it seemed like I didn't appreciate anything they were doing. They loved me through all of those times.
And I'm so grateful for them. But and we grew up. It's not like we didn't believe that there was a God. It's just that we weren't going to church. We didn't attend church. It wasn't a thing. Maybe an Easter. I remember one, a couple of Easter's. Maybe we went, but it wasn't a priority in the household. And so it leaves you with questions like what is life about? You know, everybody has the same question. Is this really all there is to life? Why am I here? All the questions, what is my purpose? And so I had all those questions. And at a young, it kind of spiraled me down without having to answer into a negative cycle of thinking. And, you know, I just it's hard to believe that the enemy will give you so many opportunities as young kids. I really want to speak to the to the kids, especially the young people today. Man, don't don't ever think that you can't speak. Don't have the courage to speak up. Like right now with me and a microphone in my hand, I'm a construction worker who cuts plywood and hangs drywall. I am not a speaker. So you can do more than you think you can do. You know what I mean? So, you know, I mean, well, I, you know, with no good explanation of why life is how it is and with not knowing why I'm here, it left me to turn to drugs and alcohol at a young age. It was it wasn't nothing heavy, nothing crazy at the time. And school drink a little bit on the weekend, smoked a little weed. But it's like anything else. It always starts out with small things. It said the small foxes spoil the vines. And so and then not knowing that. And it was just a good time.
And when you're sad and you're depressed and you smoke weed, all of a sudden you're laughing. And then my parents are telling me, don't do that. It's going to destroy your life. And I'm like, I don't know. I'm having a pretty good time right now. And then I keep entertaining that idea and I keep feeding the flesh side of me. So high school was party. I wasn't a terrible kid. I wasn't getting rode up. I had a 3.25 GPA. My parents had no idea what I was doing on the weekends. And so I want to say thank you again to my parents, to all my family, to all the ones who always supported me and loved me through all those times, man. I did spend a lot of time in funeral homes. In high school, we had about five family members die. It seemed like back to back to back. And remind you, God's not in the picture. So why are these good people dying so young? And then you've got to find a way to deal with the pain and being sad. So what I was used to doing was getting high and drinking a little bit. So that's what I chose to do. But it caused me to isolate. My depression got worse. By the time high school ended, I was already isolating from my friends. After graduation, I changed my phone number.
I wouldn't even reach back out to them. Hanging out with rougher crowds, some of y'all got in-laws. I got outlaws. And so that was my family. And like I said, nobody held a gun to my head. But I started using a lot harder drugs by the time I finished high school, man. And you think at 17 that you would be doing something like that. It's hard to believe. But it can happen quick. But I praise God. I praise God that the song we sing, all my life you have been faithful. All my life you've been so, so good. And I remember every time that I went to the funeral, I was thinking, God, are you even real? Are you even paying attention to what's going on? Because there's a lot of things that don't make sense right now. And I just wish somebody would have invited me when I was younger, man. I wish somebody would have spread the gospel with me when I was younger. But I graduate high school. And dude, by the time I hit my 20s, early 20s, I was indicted by the feds for conspiracy charges related to methamphetamines. And it's like my life comes to a halt, man. I was facing 108 to 135 months in a federal penitentiary for something that I was doing on the weekend.
It's just crazy how a choice you make turns into something you have no say in. All of a sudden, you're not doing it anymore. It's doing you. And that's what sin is. It's fun at first. And it's shiny and all. But then all of a sudden, it just leads to death. And so Casey Anthony Rogers, the judge, and David Goldberg, the prosecutor, they both went under the guidelines. So I was a baby at the time. There was 11 other co-defendants. They went under the guidelines. They gave me five years probation, a year ankle monitor, house arrest, substance abuse counseling, and a halfway house. But shortly after my five years, court ordered sobriety. Once again, I was doing it in my own strength, which is severe bodily discipline to be able to do. But the reality is, it wasn't built on the real foundation. So shortly after, I relapsed. And then it's like my life just flew by, the next 10 years of my life, man. I got kids. I'm blessed to see my wife and my kids on the front row. It's amazing how it's mercy, man. It's mercy. Because I do deserve anything but being able to be married to my wife and have kids. DCF should have took them a long time ago, man.
A long time ago. This is the thing, when you're so clouded in that thinking, you don't realize the people that you're taking down with you. I was completely oblivious to the fire that was just happening behind me. And I love you guys. Thank you for never giving up on me, baby. I love you so much. Well, we moved up to Molino right after David was born. And I still don't have God in my life. And I still don't want to care anything about God. And then another tragedy happens in 2020. My father-in-law was killed in our front yard. He shot the day after Christmas. And I remember standing over him. And once again, I'm doing CPR on somebody that I love. And I'm like, I'm not an EMT. I'm not a first responder. This is crazy to me. And then all of a sudden, he's the guy who's actually. Raising my kids better than I am he's spending time with my children and you're gonna take him and not me, you know, and It made me open up my eyes to how much I was relying on everybody else to raise my kids man I was asleep at the wheel. I was asleep at the wheel and It's dangerous Well, you know a few years later on shortly after the anniversary of the third year anniversary of his death God spoke to me in a dream and he told me clearly that See, I thought that if I was gone or if I wasn't around to influence my children I wouldn't pass this habit down to him, but he showed me that I would die from it
But it wasn't gonna keep my kids from being impacted by it Actually, it was going to fuel them to go down the same path and man and he showed me vividly to him Man, I see my baby girl. She's prostituting her body She's using I take her to another room and there's my son. He's in a hallway his head's hunched down He passed out. I got another war in a room. There's no power There's no utilities in this place and I wake up dude, and I'm crying and I'm going man what in the world just happened And I knew like I'm just in my hair standing up right now, bro I knew that I knew what just happened. That was my wake-up call, you know And I and I knew what just happened was it was it wasn't it was a warning. It wasn't a dream It was a wake-up call. I got up and I took I said I'm done and It's crazy the mind of an addict man. Anybody who's ever used will know it's only a problem when you have to quit So I all right, I'm done. Well, we'll run out and then we'll quit. No You ran out and that's and that was I would lie to myself to continue doing what it is that I was doing And I said no I'm done this time and then the thought come to my mind Well, you can't just quit cold turkey man. You've been using too long. This is 20 years of your life You just quit right now. You could have a stroke. You could pass out You could have a seizure all this and I'm gonna hold on. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa, I Thought the whole plan was did not have me around to influence my kids and now you're trying to save me So that voice I realized for the first time had been a lie got exposed what that was, right? I Can't explain it, but I can't deny how real God is and how real I know he spoke to me so I get up I Gather everything. I go out to the fire and I'm gonna burn everything and I said Lord, this is this is I'm showing you. This is me. I'm all in I'm getting rid of everything and It wasn't no real poetic real fancy Sinners prayer Because see the whole time I was on my five years court-ordered probation. I had been attending a church. That's all I've been doing I've been showing up on Sunday, but I wasn't involved. I wasn't surrendered. I was still the Lord of my life
I was checking the boxes doing the thing singing the songs and acting as if I had it all together in reality I was dead inside So I so it doesn't surprise me that right after my five-year probation ended, you know Scripture says that when a spirit leaves a man it goes into the wilderness And finding no rest. It says, you know what? I'm gonna go back to where I was at It gets back and sees the house is empty swept and kept in order Leaves goes get seven others and comes back in the state of that person is worse than the first. I Was going to church, but there was no Holy Spirit inside of me. I had not surrendered to that So I was good on the outside. Everybody thought I had it together. I had the vehicle I had the place I had the kid I could write the book But it was fake It was fake and I I don't know how else to explain it I know that's how it just kind of spiraled and it went even worse than it did in the thought that I had When I gathered everything up to go out there to burn it was remember you did this last time What means you think you really mean it right now and the enemy just in my ear You're so full of crap any change that ever happens in your life never last Why are you acting like this? This is how you're gonna die. We've already made this agreement. Remember and I'm not even entertaining the idea. I go out. I throw everything on a fire. I burn it My wife's looking at me like what are you doing? I Said I'm done. I'm done and I don't even know what this is gonna look like, but I can't leave it keep living my life like this and I You know, what do you do in a moment like that I Just praise God for the people that God put around me Man sitting right there on the front row Robert Kimball man. I worked for that dude for eight years. He invited me to church for five years God used you in a huge way bro and it didn't just change me man. Evidence is right there bro it just kept going down and down and down and down. I uh so I knew exactly what I would do I put my faith in Jesus Christ right out there
outside that fire I watched everything burn and I'd walk through the doors through momentum that following weekend and was met with a love that I didn't know could exist between people I just met. You guys are my forever family and I love y'all so much man so much I'm so grateful to be able to get here and just be able to witness I just want to speak a word of encouragement that you know it seems like the past is always right there in front of us and that was the way it was with me that it was always I was living in the past I wasn't learning from it and it crippled me and what's beautiful is you don't when when you give that and you surrender everything to the Lord man he does have a future for you and he does have a hope for you and there is vision and and he can give you life if you want it he's not gonna force you you know what I mean and so I just want to especially man especially to everybody my brothers at Blackwater and everybody watching on Pando I don't care what the motion of discovery found and I don't care what the pre-sentence report reads we have not discovered some new category of sin that the cross ain't covered. I got a poem I want to I want to read and then I'll be I'll be done man so 2024 Mother's Day and I want to say you're like you write poetry no I don't I talk I don't so but when I do well it hits and man I was just getting in the routine of showing up on time to work and Lord would not let me go to bed dude he would not let me go to bed and I was like dude I got to go to sleep I'm not gonna get up on time and so I'll read it it's called inheritance it says there once was a man who pondered a lie who believed it so long it became real after time he grew up and got married and had kids of his own reaping a harvest from seeds that were sown depression and anxiety would often show up for supper recalling the years they had spent with each other until this man was introduced to a friend who loved him for him no need to pretend he said the lie he was living was so bad it was awful he told him about Jesus and he showed him the gospel that day strongholds were broken as chains hit the ground and the angels rejoiced oh what a sound the hand-me-down of deception was traded for truth it's still shaping his life and it'll work for you you say how do you know this how can this be there's the man in the story
that man is me Wow Wow that's what Jesus does we say it like this that's what Jesus still does he changes lives maybe you're here and you're like I don't struggle or haven't struggled with any of that stuff we tell you something all of our sins all of our sins cause us to fall short of God's glory and there's no pretty sin our sin is what put Jesus on the cross and sometimes we look at other people and we're like man well they're doing this or they're doing that or I'm not doing all that but let me tell you something number one sin separates and sin separates you from the people that you love the devil's a liar the devil is a liar he is a professional liar scripture says he was the liar from the beginning and the Bible tells us that the devil is the father he is the father of all lies and he's a thief And he comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. That's what he does. That's his purpose. That's his business plan. It's his plan of action. He wants to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus said, Jesus gets the last word. Aren't you thankful that God gets the final word? Come on. God says, but I've come to give you life, and life abundantly. God says, I know the plans that I have for you. And they're plans to give you hope and a future. While you were talking, man, God just reminded me that he is patient. How many are familiar with 1 Corinthians 13?
The love chapter, love is, right? And it tells us love is patient, and love is kind, right? Okay, so when you read 1 Corinthians 13, it's 3D. And we should read it like this is what love is, but we should read it like this. This is what God's love is to me. And because God's love is like this to me, scripture says, love others as you love yourself. It's hard to love other people when you don't even like yourself. So if God's love is patient to me, then I gotta be patient with me so I can be patient to other people. And I was just reminded of how much God loves you, Robert, how God has been good to you, how God is patient with us. And then now the patience of God who's been extended to you is now being patient to Will, who's getting in the routine of being on time. Did you catch that? And Robert, you could have just been like done. You were inviting him five years. Love is patient. Love is patient. How many are thankful that God has been patient with you? I'm not talking about the person next to you. I'm not talking about their sin or their story. I'm talking about you. I'm talking about your baggage, your garbage, your mess. I'm thankful that the cross is all about God
taking it from us and not rubbing it in our face. The cross covers it all because of the blood, man. I love that. In Revelation, last book in the Bible, Jesus says, I make, and this is what gets me so emotional, man. He says, all things. All things new. This is our story. This is why we told stories for five weeks. It's to remind you that you have a story. And maybe your story hasn't come to salvation yet. Today's the day of salvation. Maybe your day hasn't come to deliverance yet. It can come to deliverance today. This is why we came out here and gathered. He said, go into all the world. We believe that includes the beach. And preach the good news. I'm thankful I got good news today. I got really good news today. No matter who you are, no matter where you are, there is a God in heaven who loves you and he sees you and he knows you. And if all that weren't impressive enough, we saved the best for last. He wants you. He wants you. It's the goodness of God that lead us to repentance. It's the goodness.
Some of you thought it was the anger of God. I'm thankful that verse doesn't say the anger of God. I'm thankful that verse says it's the goodness of God. And do you know the one thing that the devil came against when man first sinned, the attack was against the goodness of God. See, when you really see the goodness of God, you'll want to come back to God because you will realize that he is full of mercy and he's full of grace. And when we are running from Him, that's when mercy comes running to us. While we were sinners, Christ died for us. That's why He's the Savior. When I was praying in my car, man, God came upon me so strong. I felt what God is going to do today. Because your story is a lot of people's story. There are people you're sitting out on your balcony right now. There are people you're out on the pier. There are people your feet are in the sand. There are people walking today in the parking lot. There are people today crossing the street. There are people sitting right here. There are people watching around the world. This story, this is your story. And can I tell you something? This ending, it could be your ending. God can do it today. This world is filled with so much hurt. It's filled with so much pain and so much suffering. And we wonder why all the pain, why all the suffering, why all the hurt?
That's what sin does. That's what God tried to protect us from. And when man chose disobedience, Jesus chose submission. And he went to the cross, he humbled himself. He being in the form of God, didn't think he was like better than everybody else. He humbled himself and he became obedient unto death, even the worst death ever. The death of the cross. And it's by his stripes that we are healed sexually, emotionally, relationally, physically, spiritually. By his stripes, we are healed. I believe there are people here today and the truth is, you're going to church. And as you said, Will, you said, I was going to church, but the Holy Spirit wasn't even in me. See, if you die like that, then you have already lost your soul. And scripture says, what does it profit a man? What good is it if you could own it all and lose your own soul? So that didn't have to happen. Jesus who never sinned, he became sin. And on that cross, he paid for all the sins of the entire world. And he literally absorbed the wrath, the punishment, the justice of a holy, righteous God. He absorbed it all. So you and I, we could embrace the love of God. When you're here today, if you're just going to church, you're still Lord of your life. You're still in control. Jesus doesn't have the will because you do. Today, Jesus can make you new. That's exactly what Jesus wants to do. I believe there are people here today, and the truth is, Will, we're all addicted to something. Every person here is an addict.
Some of us are addicts of approval. We get our approval from social media, how many likes, how many shares, how many followers, subscriptions. Some of us get our approval from compliments. There are people that are here, and you're addicted to alcohol, and it just bottoms up. Bottoms up, bottoms up, bottoms up, and you're just trying to numb the pain. There are people here, you're addicted to drugs. People here are addicted to lust, pornography. We could just go on and on and on. The truth is, we could all see. but Jesus said I've come to give you life and life abundantly and whoever the Son sets free is free indeed come on there's freedom here today there's freedom here today and if you just come and you just here and you came as an addict and you're gonna leave as an addict the devil he's laughing cuz he got you right where he wants you the devil has young people and the devil has old people he just doesn't have any happy old people but you can't serve him can't follow him to the end of your life and be happy but today Jesus is here and Jesus is saying come to me come come I love this about Jesus can I just tell you something look look up here look look look can I just tell you I love this that Jesus has come to me Elijah earlier like he was like I said come here and he just came and the Bible says that's how we're supposed to come it's like the faith of a child he didn't oh he wasn't afraid he didn't like he's gonna judge me he's gonna look down on me he's on the stage you're gonna embarrass me you know he just came just as he was with the faith of a child he just came cuz he got invited I wonder if you could have that kind of child I wonder if we could have that type of childlike faith today because Jesus he still says come and he doesn't say come to religion he says come to me it's a relationship and he said this come to me and he said I will I love that about Jesus you put him on the foul line he's 10 for 10 he said I will and when he says something he means it and he keeps his word he said I will give you come to
me I'll give you rest I believe there are people here and you're tired you're exhausted and today Jesus is saying come to me he wants to give you rest what it what if Jesus could heal the pain of your past what if you let Jesus get close enough he could wipe the tears from your eyes what if you allowed him in only to realize that's the best thing you ever did what if you came with all your mess and you came just as you are and you saw the compassion in his eyes you felt for the first time the love in his heart for you what if well I say if it could be it should be and I think today what God did for you I believe in declaring Jesus name that's what happens on this beach today that's what happens I prayed God whatever you want today because ultimately he's the hero of the story and all the glory goes to him but I want to give people an opportunity to respond you're sitting there and you're who devil is lying to you that was talking to you that was telling you no no no man that's just now you're good man you don't got to change yet you still got time maybe you got maybe you're addicted to anger because you've been wronged you're addicted to bitterness because the anger has fermented you've held on to it so long you don't realize how much has changed you and today Jesus has come come to me I I don't know what type of sin has you by the throat but it ends here today it ends now in Jesus name so here's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna ask you if you're here whether you're standing you're walking you're sitting I'm gonna ask you today are you dead in your sins see none of us are strong enough by herself none of us are strong enough by ourself to get victory over sin. There's only victory in Jesus. You didn't do that in your own strength. That wasn't because you just made up your mind and you just wielded your future. No. No, that happened because you came just as you are. And the dead man was brought back to life. That's what baptism is all about. When we get baptized, that water doesn't wash our sins away. That water doesn't forgive us. That water is an outward expression of an inward belief and confession that we're saying, I can't do it. I'm not good enough. I'm not strong enough. I need you to do for me what I could never do for myself. Wash me, forgive me, change me, teach me how to live. And the breath of God comes inside with
the Spirit of God. And what was dead about us is buried. And the Spirit of God is alive in us. So we are raised to walk a brand new life. You're not the same person you used to be. You don't talk like you used to talk. You don't walk like you used to walk. You don't do what you used to do. It's because the Spirit of God raised you. And that's what He wants to do in you today. And I'm going to ask you right now, if you know this is for you, if you know this is you, I don't care if you're on the other side of the street, standing in line to get a sub at Subway, or if you're on the beach or on the pier, I want you to come right here. Right here, right now. I want you to walk forward and we're going to lead you to Jesus. We'll lead you in a sinner's prayer. And I believe there are people here today that God gave you a dream. God has given you an opportunity. This is from God. God's saying, I want you to come. And if you're sitting there and you feel it, that means He's talking to you. If you hear the devil talking to you, don't do it. Don't do it. Just stay. Just stay. What are people going to think? What are people going to say? You don't go up there. You're an introvert. No, no, no, no, no. Tell them to go to hell. I like what my buddy says. He says, tell them to burn. Tell them to burn, tell them to burn. He's going to hell. You don't have to. He is going to hell. You don't have to. I'm going to say it one more time. He's going to hell. You don't have to. So on the count of three, I want you to stand up wherever you are. I want you to walk right down here. You know, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness, the beauty, the creativity. How cool that you've come to Christ today at the beach. On the count of three, I want you to walk down front. I don't want you to worry about what people think because these people are the right kind of people. These people are going to cheer you. These people are going to clap for you. These people are going to pray for you. These people are going to love you. These people are going to come beside you. These people are going to do life with you. On the count of three, I want you to come. Don't be shy. I just want you to walk forward. I feel the Lord saying, have them come forward. This isn't about what's easy or not trying to embarrass ourself. This is about saying, I need Jesus. I want Jesus. I want him to forgive me. I need my sins washed away, man. I need him to make all things new in my life. I want you to walk on the count of three. If you're watching online, there's a number on the screen. I want you to let us know. Text Jesus to that
number. If you're in Blackwater, I want you to hold your hand up high. I don't want you to be shy. Don't hesitate. Don't procrastinate. Put the hand up and don't do this. Raise it up real high and keep it up. Everybody here, I want to invite you right here on three. Church, you know what to do. Holy Spirit, this is all about you. Give them the courage. Give them the power. Give them the boldness, God. Lord, you have spoken to their heart. It's your word. Your word does not return void. The devil is a liar and Jesus saves. So God, win the day today. May there be boldness and courage, and may there be incredible celebration. I pray it in Jesus' name. On three, I want you to come to me. Here we go. One, two, three. Come on. Come on. Get up out of your seat. Walk on down front. Come stand right here. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Breathe the Spirit of God in this place. God, we believe you. I'm so proud of you, man. Come on, Sam. I'm just so proud of y'all. I'm so proud of y'all. God loves you so much, man. My man's got on a shirt that says rebellious. And he said, I'm coming home. I'm coming home. You know what? That's what the prodigal son, that was his story. That was his story. But he came home, and his father came running, and his father, he said, Dad, I'm so sorry I bit. He said, I don't even want to hear it.
I'm not here to condemn you. I'm here to forgive you. I'm here to love you. I'm here to put shoes on your feet and a ring on your finger. I'm here to kill the fatted calf. I'm here to restore you. That's what he does. That's the God we serve. That's the God we serve. I'm so proud of y'all. Here's the gospel. You guys can be seated. Here's the gospel. And it's not just for them, it's for everyone watching. The gospel is this, guys, that Jesus died for you. They nailed him to a cross, and he shed his blood. And it's only the blood of Jesus that can make you right with God. Why? Because only God is perfect. There's not a person on this entire planet, no matter what their title or description is, apart from God that is holy. You understand what I'm saying? Only God. Perfect. Pure. And Jesus said, I love you so much, I'm going to take your place. In sports, we call substitution. We can sub, and someone who's exhausted on the field runs off the field. And someone with fresh legs, Jesus was our fresh legs. Jesus ran to the cross because we couldn't do it on our own.
And he stayed on the cross. He didn't give up. He didn't tap out. He didn't quit. He stayed on that cross, and he completed it. And when it was finished, he said, it is finished, and here's what was finished. The price that had to be paid for your sins and my sins to be paid for once and for all in full was accomplished at the cross. And there was a sinner on the cross, on the right, and a sinner on the cross on the left. And one of them looked to Jesus, and he said, remember, this guy was cussing Jesus. He was cursing him. He was doing everything the crowd was doing. And then at a certain point, he said, remember me when you come into your, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom. And Jesus didn't preach him a message. Jesus did not condemn him. Jesus didn't say, whoa, whoa, whoa, let's talk about all the crap. Jesus said today, you will be with me in paradise. And listen, today Jesus is saying to y'all, he loves you. He loves you. He knows everything about you, and he still wants you, and he still chooses you, and he loves you, and he is saying, come on, come on, and you come forward today. So here's what the Bible says. Our church says, because our church, it's the word of God. We preach the word of God. Here's what the Bible says. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, if, it's conditional, if you, it's personal. It's conditional, and it's personal. If you will confess with your mouth that he is Lord, if you'll believe in your heart
that he didn't just die for you, but he was brought back to life for you, so he could bring you back to life, it says, you'll confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. If you'll believe in your heart that God, the father raised God the son from the dead. Choose scripture. You will be saved. That means pressure washed, made brand new, no stench of sin, no stain remaining. You're brand new, and when God looks at you because of Jesus, God says, they're a child of God. And you know what's cool about that? You'll be a child of God on your good days, and you'll still be a child of God on your bad days. You'll be a child of God. You'll be sons of God, daughters of God. I want to lead you in a prayer. You believe, look, look real quick. Do you believe that Jesus loves you? Y'all believe that? You believe he died on the cross for you? You believe he shed his blood for you? You believe that he is Lord? You believe he rose again? Oh, come on. All right. I love that. I think we ought to clap right there, guys. Come on. That's five for five. Come on. Five's the number of grace. Come on. We're going from glory to glory. Come on. I want you to pray. Some of you church, stretch out your hands. We're going to pray over them right now. I want you all to pray these words. You're not talking to me, okay? You're not praying this to me, man. You're praying this to the one that made the heavens and the earth. You're praying this to Him.
He is leaning, just like I'm leaning into you. He is leaning into you. He loves you. Oh, my God. He loves you. He accepts you. He receives you right now. You're receiving Him. Pray this. Say, Jesus, I confess today I'm a sinner, and I need you to be my Savior. Thank you for loving me, bleeding for me, dying for me. I believe you rose again. And today, I declare you our Lord. I declare you our Savior. Please be my Lord. Please be my Savior. I give you my life. I receive your life. Now, teach me how to live. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen, amen. Come on. Come on, come on. I'm so proud. Let's close just real quick. The Lord's saying, there are people today that you're an addict. That's what the devil's told you you are. But because of Jesus, you're free. So that label don't got to stick no longer. That lie, that label doesn't have to last any longer. With heads bowed on my ass, no one looking. I hear you, man. I was praying, the Lord said, oh, go there. Is there anybody at all, you're here today, and you say, Pastor Tim, like today, like that was my past, but my past isn't going to last. I'm surrendering that part of my life, that part of my story to Jesus right now. No one looking. I want you to shoot your hand up. You're in Blackwater. You're watching online. You're on the Pando app, or you're here. I want you to raise that hand. Hold it up high, unashamed. You're saying, you know what? Today's my day. I'm stepping out of addiction. I'm stepping into freedom in Jesus' name. If that's you, hold that hand up high. Hold it up high. God bless you. Hold it up high. God bless you. Come on, hold it up high. God bless you.
I see the hand. Come on, who else? God bless you. I see the hand. Who else? Who else? Come on, God bless you. God bless you. All right. Jesus, we just say thank you. Thank you for the freedom that you give us. Thank you for the love that you give us, Lord. Thank you for today, God. Thank you that it's not storming. Thank you, God, that you still control the wind and the waves. You gave us a beautiful day, and to that we say we love you, Jesus. I pray a blessing now over everybody here. I pray that your face will shine upon them. I pray, God, that you would protect them and provide for them. God, I pray today they would experience the mercy and the grace this week of God. I pray they would experience this week the goodness of God, and it would remind them of who you are and whose they are. Let all God's people say, in Jesus' name, everybody said, amen. Let's baptize. Let's go. I'll see you at the water. I'll see you at the water. I'll see you at the water. I'll see you at the water. . . . . . . . . . . .
