Welcome to another Unlearned Wisdom podcast with yours truly. Another Unlearned Wisdom podcast. Welcome to another Unlearned. Welcome to another episode on the Unlearned Wisdom podcast with yours truly, Johnny Chang, where each episode is a gospel centered lesson that you could apply to your life today. Today, today we're talking about gossipy. Wow. Ooh. Ooh. Crazy about Johnny later. Oh, just right now. Not in front of him though. I know, but I'll tell you later. It's crude. That's not okay. Is it not? No. What does the Bible say about that? Bible says gossiping is a sin, dude. You're not supposed to do that. Is that you guys just see that right now? Tell them to repent. Both of them. Keep it down next time, man. Do you think Johnny's kind of mean right now? Oh, what's up? Hey, Johnny. Dude. You're so cool.
And nice. Oh my God. This is like, this sounds like some veggie tales. Yeah. Like, like acting it out so they get out. Johnny's really smelly. Oh, the audience. Boo. Yeah. And then when I see him, wow, Johnny, you smell so nice today. Jeez. And then cut scene. Yeah. Is that okay? According to the Bible, he's like my goodness. I just eat the, I ate the fish sauce. What do you mean? I smelled a good today. Wow. It's like, and then it's like the narrator's like Johnny's oblivious. Yeah. But basically we've all had people gossip behind our backs. And to be honest, you guys probably gossiped at least once in your life. Everybody's done that. So, you know, we're going to unpack that. Is it biblical? Uh, you know, is gossiping a sin? What if it's just telling the truth, right? I mean, what if it's, what if it's just information being put out there? Who, who knows?
So we're going to address all of those things today in this episode. Yes. Yes, sir. So there was one time where I was gossiping. Ooh, only one time, one time that it was bad. And this is after I was saved too. I was a baby Christian, but I would gossip about my pastor. And I, yes, it's the first time I left the church. When I left the church, I would then like, because I didn't want to be wrong. I literally made him wrong. And I made the church wrong. You're literally, you used to be one of your current Reddit haters. Pretty much. I would go there and I would be like, he didn't exalt me, but you know, cause you're like loving the church and then like, there's nothing wrong with it. So you have to find and dig and find something wrong with it. Right. And so I went to this one church and, uh, they were kind of like, just saying things about my church, the current church I'm at. And I was like, you know what, why am I backing these people up, man? I don't care about them. And then I kind of like leaned into it. And then I realized, like, I just felt nasty. Like I felt the ick. I was like, man, I know I'm just being sensitive right now. I know I'm like being exalted. And so like, this is not cool to like pitchfork people, you know? And so I felt like Holy spirit gave me that conviction through the word where it was telling me in Proverbs, like a person who holds his peace, even a foolish person who holds his peace is wise.
Right. And I'm like, why am I really mad? And I kind of sat there and I struggled internally and I was like, okay. So they kicked me out. Well, they didn't kick me out, but they chastised me. I didn't like that. They corrected me. So I left. And when I left, I was kind of mad that they didn't like come back and reach out to me. So I was like, all right, well then forget them. They're not the real church. And from that pain, Satan worked through my wound. And then I was just like. Gossip that one time. And I just didn't feel good about it at all. No, that's a bar right there. A fool that holds his pee. Who wrote that? Where'd you get that? Proverbs. Wait. So it did get back to the, it did get back to pastor. No, it actually didn't. And, and, you know, I kind of started to realize the more I stood next to pastor, how much people gossip about pastor. And, and this was early, early on, you know, in the churches where it wasn't that many like COTH members. It wasn't any COTH members, but it was just regular people who were just like prideful and shameful.
There was like a wave of like egotistical, like feelings kind of going and surging through that church, uh, at that, through that time period in the church. And so it almost like split the church in half. It was crazy. And that's why I think gossip is so dangerous is because like people think that they're just giving truth, but the truth wasn't restoring truth and it wasn't reconciling truth. It was truth to just like divide people. Like, you know, he did that. And it's like, Whoa. And it like, didn't help anybody. It actually divided everybody. Why does gossiping or venting feel good at times or feel like you're connecting with a person? Uh, because it is, it is, it does feel good temporarily. It does feel like you're connecting because you're like kind of giving them information that nobody knows. But again. Truth there are things that are truthful that are still sinful right it doesn't mean that it's a good thing like just because you're telling the truth doesn't mean it's a good thing I yes I don't know continue sorry if I raise my hand finish your thought and then no come back how about you just don't raise your hand and let me finish my thought and then you raise your hand all right fine because what you said when you finish I didn't it felt like your sentence was coming to an end and so I started raising my hand and then you immediately stopped which threw me off yeah well continue what you're saying you can tell the truth now I honestly Jeremy I'm sorry I don't remember what I was saying now oh now I feel bad I'm not trying to make you feel bad but listen so like when does it turn from so I'm gonna go back to the first thing so why does it
feel good to connect but before that when does venting or got when does eventing or sharing information turn into gossiping for example you're at a job let's say you have a truly evil boss we've all had a terrible terrible boss and you're going through it the boss is rude to you like throws throws a task on you that aren't yours blames you for things that it's not you you get back to your desk or you get back to the cash register and you're just having a crummy time because you're like this person makes me feel so bad and then and then your co-workers like what's wrong and you're just like dude he like lied about what I did yesterday and now he's blaming me and I might get in trouble yeah you know to the higher ups higher ups yeah and then the co-workers like dude he did the exact same thing to me yeah like this person's not good don't let him yeah don't let him put you down you know what I'm saying so I would say it as like I would answer that question with one question am I sharing this to heal or am I sharing this to feel relief like selfishly right like are you sharing like this information to like heal from it and maybe protect others okay fine you know but are you sharing this just to kind of like feel like better about yourself and I think it's it's again it comes back to the restoration aspect right am I gonna share this to like restore or am I gonna share this to just like gossip and feel better about myself and be like look guys oh he did that to you all right let's kind of click up and like go against this person right if you really believe in God you believe that God allows things to happen and then you bring it to God you don't bring it to human beings right but then people are like whoa he did that to me wait I noticed that pattern I noticed that but I noticed that pattern okay right there's obviously a million customizable things in a company it'll be different than in a household and in a household it'd be different than in a job at a at a gym and at a gym it's gonna be different than a church so to say like how do we do this specifically is probably not gonna it just depends on your situation but foundationally are you sharing this because you want to feel better and that's what trauma dumping is I just want to do it to share but I'm
not gonna invite any healing or are you sharing this to like heal and be like hey the boss did this to me and I felt some type of way like do you think I'm feeling right about this it's not to point it at the boss to but to be like am I messing up here am I like okay well all right let's just kind of bring it up to him and let's see what let's talk to him about it versus like he did that to me okay he's not a good boss passing judgment and then it's like then he has to like we got to figure out a way to get him out of here then it becomes very like malicious and like kind of like gang mentality right mob mentality so again are you sharing this truth which is fine to like heal people or to harm people it's really gonna be up to you nine times out of ten gossiping is not it's basically sharing your heart with Joe it's like spreading judgment if you think about it I feel like a judgment towards one person and then I'm gonna go to this person and sway them to see it my way so that they can judge them too it's literally spreading and perpetuating judgment which we're not called to do as Christians yeah we can call out truths sure right but yeah I'm that sentence right there we can call out truth that opens up a giant can of worms for me because everybody on the internet nowadays is like look at all this evidence I have yeah and they're basically it's based like on making videos online about someone is just mass gossip yeah and people can structure their argument right the left does it the right does it the you know whatever it is in any situation they can position information to make it seem like I'm telling the truth so then how do you how do you how do you discern yeah how do you discern when people are doing something like that again it comes back down to just are you doing this to exalt yourself or are you doing this to you know like prove are you doing this to prove that you're right hmm versus like are you processing this pain and then giving it up to God right so the process this time people like to expose others by saying and then hiding Behind like what I'm just telling the truth because they think that they're doing the right thing But the right thing to do is to go Vengeance isn't mine
I'm not I could be wrong in certain things Even if i'm right, I should still bring it to the person who's right above everybody else, which is god So I would say yeah, you want to put the information out there? That's fine But 99% of the time they don't go to god first They're going to themselves first and they're not taking anything to god Venting is bringing your pain to god. Like you should be venting to god in prayer You can be venting to people who are like neutral parties like people who are pastors and ministers and even therapists and whatever but to sit there and be like I'm going to bring this pain and kind of spread it to everybody else And make everybody else carry the burden when god is supposed to carry the burden. That's when it becomes a problem. So yes Being truthful is commanded in the bible But if the truth doesn't protect and it only exalts yourself, that's not truth either. That's just ego wearing church clothes, basically Like oh i'm just protecting you guys look But really the heart is like I want people to know about this guy because I don't like this guy And here's the truth. Yeah, maybe johnny did this maybe johnny did that but like I don't like him But I want everyone not to like him and i'm gonna hide behind the fact that hey I'm just talking about the bible look at that's what it says like but deep down, you know What your heart is like, why do you spend that time to do all of that? dude, it's funny because the minute that somebody Gets canceled or there's uh Something negative about anybody you just see the other side come out the shadows. Yep It happened to me a bunch of times, right? It's everyone's silent until something's bad happened. Then they dog pile. They're like look at this person's character What happened do you know why that happens too? Because like the way that I think about it is like you just have mentioned shadows So it triggered something for me like shadows never show up until light shows up So when you're doing something right and bright that's when like the darkness shows up like me 10 years before Nobody was saying anything about me. I hit a milli and then all of a sudden i'm preaching the gospel and everyone's like But he's a fraud. He's this he didn't do that, right? He didn't it's like it's kind of crazy that like when i'm preaching light
Everybody got something to say when i'm doing evil in darkness Honestly, no one had anything to say and I was infamous in a way where it was like yo, he did that Whoa, that's gangster Like I would get commended for doing evil things But now that i'm doing truthful good things that are edifying other people not just self Freeing other people people who are in bondage or feeling some type of way about that, right? So it's like it's kind of crazy, right? So I would say like Sometimes speaking up is a good thing, but I think majority of the time Him who holds his peace. That's the god calls that wisdom So there are times where we sit back and we're swift to listen slow to speak slow to anger The bible says this in james chapter one I've noticed that even if I notice something about someone but I don't say anything about them God genuinely in my at least in my experience has corrected people Versus like me trying to correct somebody i've tried that early on in my walk and when I try to correct them It closes their hearts right away because they might not feel like you're validated enough to correct me even though you're coming correct Let's say right and so they will actually close their heart versus like this happens with couples if you guys notice like Like a man and a woman will argue Let's say and the woman will say something to the man and the man feels like she's not qualified to say that and then he'll go to his homie and the homie will say the exact same thing the girl said and then he'll take that and Be like And then bring it back to the girl and the girl would be like I literally said exactly what he said and then that becomes like another fight right and it's because There's a hard posture of like i'm not ready for you And to hear it from you even though what you're saying is true It's different. It's a different dynamic than someone else who I trust who has more authority. I would say Says versus someone who says it One of the things that made me think of all that though is how do you defend yourself in that? So if people are gossiping gossiping about you, especially that you have a public career, especially in my situation when I was getting canceled Yeah, the first thing I wanted to do was Say my side of the story. It's like look all of this narrative is false
It's completely false and a lot of times what i've seen on the internet too is Usually the person that comes out with the story first gets to control the narrative unless the other person is So good at defending themselves. Yeah, yeah and can refute it and and even then the person that went first There's still millions of people out there that will just follow that never sees the second part, you know And it literally tarnishes their name true. So what do you do in that situation if you're being gossiped about this is one thing? I think gossip is good about okay, and and I and I live by this is if you're not smart enough to see a person's hard posture if you're not like In tune enough to like see how a person moves and gossip with evidence and things like that can knock you off of that For me, that's a really good measuring stick of like you're not gonna be here anyways, like if you're with me only when you feel like I'm good, or you support someone only based off of what you think is good, then your judgment can be flawed and it can be swayed at any time. Right. So I would say you don't actually deal with it. Like let them spin the narratives, let them do whatever. There's many people that have spun narratives about us too. And literally like big pastors with, you know, a hundred thousand, you know, followers, et cetera, even more in a million followers, we don't even respond to them and yeah, there are some people that I feel like have left and been like, Oh, I seen, he talked about that dreams and visions, this guy, this guy. But at the end of the day, it was more peaceful on our end. It was almost like they helped us call like the, and kind of cut out the people that don't need to be here. So for me, I'm, I'm always like, you know, not everyone who talks about you is, is, is like, means that like, it's valid, like nine times out of 10, somebody who's speaking about you and gossiping about you and takes that much time to go out and prove that you're wrong. It shows a lot of insecurity about them. 10 times out of 10. Right.
So I'm like, why would I worry about what you have to say about me? If you spent the amount of time you spent trying to expose somebody in the word and getting closer to God, I think that would be more productive. Right. So that's kind of how I accept it is like, go ahead. Go ahead and admit that. No, I just did this. No, you went, you gotta be better. You're the type of guy, like when you're happy, you just start clapping. Yeah. So gossip only has power when it pulls you off of your trajectory, off of your mission, and, um, you can stay silent. And a lot of the times, again, us just not even worrying about people. They just literally just taper off. In the beginning, I was met with a lot of opposition to not even from just other churches, but from homies. And when I'm like, man, you can say whatever you want. I'm going to just do what I gotta do. They're in the same position as they're, and probably in a worse position. And we're just like taken off and it's no disrespect, but like, if you guys want to stay on your grind, stay on your grind. And like, it's like the, the saying that I use is light. Doesn't argue with darkness, right? It just continues to shine. Like, that's all you have to do. So yeah, there will be people who will try to tarnish your name. And yeah, sometimes, you know, they can spin narratives and make it seem like it's like half truths. That's the enemy anyways. How do you deal with Satan by taking it to God?
You can't fight Satan. You can't fight gossip on your own. Right. Because then it becomes this check boxing thing. So let's say I tried to sway people that the gossip was wrong and I proved them wrong. Right. And, and then people go, wow, Johnny was cool. But then that only lasts until I can't prove myself again to them. Once I can't prove myself to them that like, let's say this time I won this argument, but this next time around I get smoked by that argument, then it's over. Like, I literally lose like the people's attention. I lose their trust. I lose it right away. That happened low key with like the Billy Carson situation with like a lot of people just like arguing and stuff and debating. It's always this, can he win? Oh, it's like, they're almost like only supporting them because they can. Validate their thoughts and like their feelings, right? I'm going to support you. I'm going to listen and I'm going to be the judge. Okay. You said something that's pretty valid. You said something that's pretty valid too, but who's God and who's the judge in that? It's the person who's watching. And I'm not here to convince anybody. We're here as messengers. It doesn't say in the Bible, convince people of the gospel. It says, preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, not convince people of the gospel to the ends of the earth. So we don't have to sit there and try to figure it all out.
Gossip, the best way to kill gossip is silence is to just let them say whatever they want because truth doesn't need to be like, it's like a negative and a negative doesn't make a positive, right? Like in order to defeat negativity, which is gossip and, and Satan, you just continue to be positive and good. And you let your actions and you let the way you walk speak for itself. And sure enough, we've had people where they came from the other people's congregation who hated on us. And they were like, bro, bro made like four videos about you in a week. We're like, bro, we get it. And at first I was like, yeah, Johnny's wrong. But later I started to just almost look at like, man, this guy just keeps on defending himself and he's just like having a monologue. This guy's evil. This guy's an antichrist. This guy's this, this guy's that. And we're like, bro, we get it. Can we learn about God now? Like what's going on? And they saw that. And now they're in our core of the heart. They're just like, bro, we just watched your stuff. We're like, let me see what you have to say. And when you're sitting there, you're literally just quoting scripture. And so, you know, it just, it just depends. Gospel Out is officially live. I made an AI chat bot built from everything I've ever taught. My reputation and where I stand is where God is going to protect me. That's just what it comes down to. Because everybody and their moms is going to have something to say about you. If you try to defend yourself, you then placate to that, and then you fall into the trap of going back and forth. And then even if you persuade them or convince them or try to communicate with them, Again, that's on a timer because they're then going to be like, Okay, he made sense this time. But while they mess up again, they're going to catch you again. So you're living like this roller coaster. What about in a realistic situation? So everything you said was realistic, but they're like, Johnny, I don't have millions of followers. I started dating a girl and her friend started talking bad about me. Oh, that guy used to cheat on girls or whatever it is.
And so I have to get her facts straight. Because she's feeling torn by the people that are close to her saying something about me. What do you do in that situation? It's not like you're necessarily trying to sway her. It's like there's people saying things, and I just have to set it straight real quick. I think you don't have to set it straight. But how you set it straight is important, sure. But you could just literally in that situation just be like, Not every lie, it's a lie. It could just be something as simple as, Do you trust me? It's a lie. Hey, Johnny, why did you do that? Hey, that's a lie. I don't even want to waste my time explaining that. And if the person sits there and has this negative mindset of, Oh, you don't want to explain it because you're hiding something. Then that says more about them than it says about you. Why can't you trust me to be like, I don't. If we're called to be together and someone is gossiping, and you're swayed by somebody who's gossiping, that just shows me a lot about you too. It can go both ways. I've never ever once, honestly, in my life, had been able to sway somebody and be like, Hey, guys, look, this is what it is. Because nine times out of ten, they have their mind made up about you. They're almost sniping you. It's hard to explain. It's this feeling of, Oh, I feel some type of way.
And now let me watch and see what you say. And they'll do that. They'll literally leak it like, Hmm, okay, interesting. They'll do that. And you're just like, Okay, so are you going to listen to what I have to say? Or do you want it to be, again, you being the judge, me making it make sense to you. And then you believe in what I say. You should know by my character who I am. Now, if it's completely new people, even that works too. Because you're sitting there and you're still having dialogue with each other. And you ask them, right? What did I ever give you any vibes like that? Did I ever do any of those things? That's all you have to say. It's more disrespectful to be like, This person that I trust who I know more than you said something about you. That's fine. But you can still keep an open mind and be like, Hey, but I've seen how you acted. They do that with our church all the time. The first time I got into my church, people were like, You know you're part of a cult, right? And then I ask them, Okay, have you been to our church? No, I never. Then what are you saying right now? I've been to my church. What do you say about it? And sometimes they'll say these half truths. Well, I did go there 10 years ago. And just be careful, Johnny, because of this, this, and this, and this, and that.
And I'm like, So why did you leave? What made you leave? It's like you brought up the accusation. You have to defend the case. Why would I then believe your accusation and then make them defend the case? That doesn't make any sense. Literally, they're preaching the gospel. You're outside of the church, not preaching the gospel. How do they have to defend that case if you're the one who left the church? It doesn't make any sense. But that's what people are doing. They'll be like, Oh, my gosh, I'm just protecting you. Again, protection never divides people, though. Protection always unites people. It always brings people to safety. So if you're protecting people, you better be well aware that you're protecting them into God's hands and leading them into God's hands, not leading them away from God, separating, making them God, judging the situation, and then being like, Yeah, I'm going to follow this or I'm going to follow that. God never divides people. He always unites people in truth. And the truth has to unite people. It doesn't sit there and divide people. Kind of covered it a little bit. No, you did cover it a lot, but maybe you can summarize it clearly. So how do you properly shut down someone's gossiping without hurting their feelings? Good question. Very good question.
So you, I have the answer, but I don't think you guys would like it. Say why? You don't. What do you mean? It's always gonna hurt their feelings or you don't shut them down? You don't shut them down. Hmm. Because think about it. If you try to shut them down, then you play into this world of like, ball is in your court now, you get to choose. Like, you're almost like kind of like defending yourself when there isn't anything to be like, someone else brought negativity and then now you have to somehow defend yourself from that negativity. And nine times out of 10, defending is like you gotta make someone else look bad. So that's if they're talking about you directly. Let's say me and Aaron, I come to Aaron and I'm gossiping about you. How should Aaron shut it down without being like, maybe it's coming off as a little venting. He should be like, you should tell him. You should go and talk to the person who you're talking to me about. Yeah, I plan on telling him. That's true.
Yeah, but I am gonna tell him, but like. So then if I was Aaron, I'd be like, but why haven't you? If you are gonna tell him, why are you coming to me? Well, because I'm just venting. I'm just letting you know. I'll finish it for you mid to Jerome. Because I was venting and I. Yeah, but then I'm gonna be like, dude, what the hell Aaron? I thought you're my friend. I'm just trying to get like. No, that is true. But I'll tell you one caveat. I'll tell you one caveat to that advice. Because whenever I do come to you, your advice is to tell them. And then I very quickly have to tell them. But sometimes. You have to stand 10 toes. Sometimes I fear and don't tell you certain things because I know the answers that I'm gonna have to tell them. Yeah, that's fine. So even though I know the advice, I'll still like refuse it or hide it sometimes. Just because it's difficult advice to take. Okay, but why is it difficult? Why is it difficult? I don't like confrontation. There you go, right. So that's a thing.
That's why it's okay for him to hold it in. Then he has to overcome that confrontation. And you do. Aaron honestly does that. Everyone, we're like, oh, we won't. And then it gets to a point where you just have to. You literally just have to. So go ahead. I didn't say anything that time. I swear to God. I didn't move a muscle. You did. You did though. Roll the tape. Roll the tape. Editor, play the tape. Roll the tape. You literally. Is that? Yeah. You literally. You did. Jeremy, you've been doing podcasts for how many years? And you don't know how to cut, stop cutting people off. I feel like his sentence breaks are weird. He like breaks and then he's like. Oh, it's my fault. Oh, sure. This isn't gossip either. This is me telling you.
Your sentence breaks are weird. To your face. I'm gonna confront you about that. All right, I'm sorry. That's my fault. You looked at me and said it. I'm like, you should tell him. Hey, this is all role play. We're just teaching you how to handle gossip in all types of situations. Oh my gosh. Wait, but what were either of you saying? What were you saying? I was saying that basically it, even if you don't want to, right? You had like a vulnerable moment where you're like, I even, I won't come to you cause I kind of know, you know what I mean? What you're gonna say. But at the same time, like that, then it, how do I say it? Then you come to a position where you're just going to be like, I know what I need to do. It's do I wanna do it or not, right? Then in that case, it takes time to, the boy's literally holding his lips. It's that hard for you not to talk? No, it's very clear. So, you know, you can keep going.
You know, I'm not gonna interrupt you. There's no chance I can interrupt you. Not even a, out of my mouth will stop you. Analog mute button. The other thing too, is I could make a, I can make a mouth noise and he'd immediately like pump the brains. He's got like super, he's got, anyways, no, you're getting, this was good. Keep cooking. I forgot, no. You were saying, you were saying it gets to the position. Yeah, we have to make the decision. You know that you wanna say, yeah. And that's the part that I fall on always is right. I'll know the answer. And now it's just, I know the right answer. It's now it's about, do you have the submission to make the, to do that? It's the bending of the, that's what I call like the breaking of the heart. Cause like, it really feels like, we call it breaking of the heart guys is because, or bending is because it literally feels like you're breaking your heart to do it. Like I don't want to, and oh, okay, right. Cause when you have, when you guys go through heartbreak and you can't call that person back and you call them and they're not picking you up, what then do you have to do?
It's that feeling of like, all right, I guess. I just had to do it, I had to take it. That's why we call it the breaking of the heart. So if you guys ever hear that, I know it's like 40 episodes in and I've never explained it before, but breaking the heart means that feeling of like, I know I should move on, but I don't want to, but it gets to a point where your heart does break and you go, all right, I'm gonna move on and I'll be fine. And that usually happens with time, right? In the first week you break up, you're like thinking about them, every freaking song reminds you and whatever, whatever, but later it doesn't even matter anymore. You're like, oh, I'm good. And it just takes time. So I have faith in that, like even when you're coming to me or you're coming to me and I feel like you guys aren't gonna tell me certain things, I'm never like, yeah, you should tell me, why don't you tell me? Like I never crack you guys for that, right? But at the same time, I feel like I just give it up to God and go, God, there's gonna be certain things that Aaron wants to talk to me about and certain things that he's not gonna wanna talk to me about or isn't ready to talk to me about, you have to then take care of it, God. And I do the same with Jeremy too.
And nine times out of 10, it really does, if you guys notice, I mean, we've been here for like a year and some change now, it always does resolve itself or it does get brought out eventually. Like I've been sitting on this for three weeks, you know, and it's like, and I gotta like, all right, I gotta talk about it now. And it's good. True. And then I guess nothing to add? Well, because I have something to add. My lips are clear, I don't even get it. My lips are pinched shut with my hand and you guys still think I'm trying to say something. Oh, sorry, you distracted me. Sorry, I'm just kidding. Well, so while we're on the topic, so let's say you do, let's say I do muster up the courage to confront someone or bring something up instead of gossiping or talking behind them. And let's say that it's, this is a little off the topic of gossip, but let's just say they're not willing to hear it or accept it or things don't get better to a certain extent. It's like, then are you just like, okay, well, I told him, or it's like, how much do you keep harping it? When do you let go? I think not everything that's true needs to be said.
I think you just let them, you gotta let it go. I think the situation will determine what, like we can sit here and go, well, do we do this? Do we do that? But based off the situation, it's almost gonna like tell you to do that. Like a person can say, I'm gonna be lazy all day, but like once they start to have to pay rent, that's gonna change their mindset and motivate them to like do something. We can sit here, for example, motivate, you can be motivated, you gotta wake up, you gotta lock in, you gotta, but there's some people who don't, even if you give them the blueprint, you guys know this, you guys sit there and help so many people with social media advice, and like 1% or like 0.5% takes your, literally take your guys' advice. I happened to take his advice at first and obviously yours, and it just scaled crazy, right? But there's some people where I'll see you, Jeremy, and you guys too, and just give them alpha, and they don't do it at all. And I'm just like, what the heck? And it doesn't matter how much, oh, should I go and I tell them this way? Should I be nicer? Should I motivate them?
Should I do it for them? Like even if you do all of that, that's not gonna motivate them. But once they start starving, that's when they're like, hey, Jeremy, need some more help again. Hey, Johnny, oh my gosh, what'd you say about that Bible verse again that I was talking about like two years ago that you, like it becomes this, right? So again, we're kind of caught in this thing where, it's like a pridquo, quid, prid? Quid pro quo. Squidge, squidge, scroll, scroll. Quid pro quo, where it's like I do this, and then they'll do that, right? But that's not true. Not everyone, it's so weird. We're transactional, but we don't even know how to be transactional sometimes too, right? It goes back and forth. So we sit there and we're like, all right, I'm going to, how do I talk to this person? I'm gonna be nicer to them. I'm gonna be whatever. And then there's times where it just flips on you. Like you guys ever argue with someone, and you're like, you map it all out.
Not gonna argue with them. I'm gonna talk to them this way. I love them so much. And as soon as they come in, you're like, I reckon hate you, you better. You're just like, what the heck did I do? That's similar situation, right? It's like, guys, you guys listening into, of course you can take this and you need grace to apply these things that we teach you. But understand one thing, you need grace to be able to like surrender and the situation, believe it or not, is always gonna dictate the posture of your heart. And vice versa. The posture of your heart is gonna dictate the situation. And sometimes the situation will change your heart to then reveal your actual heart that you didn't know was, you know, was. And so that's what happens. I don't know what I'm saying. No, it made a lot of sense. It's just the Holy Spirit's bitten. Why did you say that? I don't know. You just blacked in. Literally there's times where- Why did you share that about yourself? That was weird. Literally there's times where people will,
like I'll preach a sermon and I won't know what happened. Really? Legit, I'll just be like. Yeah, and like land back in and be like, oh my gosh So I genuinely don't know what I just said right could have been the Hennessy you were drinking earlier. No, no No, I saw them a ton clip that was cracking up Wait, wait, which one I sent it to you clap. Hey Everyone chat you this is the first question to the entire podcast Let's say you've known someone for four or five years who got through the trenches with this person, you know Put food on their table, you know gone through got gone to war with this person We were in you know, yeah, literally in battle together and and every once in a while You said, you know, you don't try to spam them every once in a while. You said no you you throw out a little a little Hello, let's stay friends and you send them a little meme and you do that and you and you send one every like, you know A couple days or whatever and they never open it. Is that really your friend? How should you feel about that? Okay, so one every couple of days was was your wording Oh Saturday at 1206 Saturday at 1204 Saturday at 528 Saturday at 1057 Saturday at 245 bangers Saturday No, no, no 59 Friday Thursday, here's three in a row no time over there Each one Three bangers Jeremy, do you understand that the whole point was you said you send it every now and then yeah, right Okay, let's go back so it's not Let's go back and put food on this man's table like I have a for you would give the shirt off your back for This person like there's an algorithm that's meant to serve me videos. I want to see no, but you think you know better than that Yes Jeremy's DM your algorithms officer sometimes because I see you liking Jake Paul videos Jake Paul photo a Jake Paul flying in a jet with money all over it. I'm like good. I gotta correct his algorithm Go look at the 3d printed one. You tell me you didn't want to watch it right now I don't want to hear about the Hennessy Matan clip. I love my time And I sent it in the group chat, you know, it's like saying some crazy. No, just let it watch it Yeah, watch it. Anyways, yeah. Yeah, that was just hilarious, please

You were like, oh you didn't see the video. I sent you it was to our you sent it to our yeah But clearly you didn't even see the ones from Saturday Friday Sunday No, no day so you you're bad friend, what's the limit guys? How often can you send your friend reels or how often it's like you think that bro? They'd be doing that to me too. Like not my homies, but just random Johnny Chang Random is crazy Every single like bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, and it's in the restricted like I literally have to restrict them Yeah, and I'm like, bro, you were literally writing paragraphs to yourself in our fourth wall, too Like they DM me they're writing paragraphs to them so I need to run the 30 seconds with Johnny I'm just kidding, bro. I love you so much, bro. I hate you. I'm gonna kill you, bro Actually, I'm just playing bro. I love you so much bro. Oh my gosh, you said something that was bars, bro You're wrong about that. It's like what the heck is going on, bro. I don't even have time to respond to any of these I'm just like skip The crazy restrict you on energy just decide what I open Go look just go back the last couple days and genuinely heart or thumbs down and I guarantee you they're all gonna be oh You'll learn like Down bad. No. No, I guarantee you there will be no misses. Okay, that was I only send the me more I'm like, this is a guaranteed smash next week. I'll pull up with a compilation of all the misses. There's no misses I get I'm that confident. I'm that confidence. I'll just like we I Know you too. Well, okay lock in It's crazy what you were saying about gossip social media just being like large-scale gossip because it's so true It is like so do you think social media has just like Accelerated gossip in the in the modern age percent. They gave gossipers a voice number one Which is what you never do because gossip dies when no one listens to it, right? so true if you're sitting there and you're like
Oh it and it allows an echo chamber effect where you're validating your gossip, right? It's like well what look at that guy agrees in that guy and they all agree and later What gossipers is so funny about gossipers is that they gossip amongst each other about each other, too Yeah, even though they're homies And I'm just like yo, what is going on genuinely gossip is a sin it tarnishes reputations before Someone can even have a chance at knowing that person for who they are It's like the worst type of for me personally. It's like the worst type of thing you could actually do in that you're literally just spreading judgment, you're spreading false narratives, you're painting a picture which otherwise a person may not have seen, right? And I used to also understand like why gossiping is like I thought it was crucial or like powerful. It's powerful not in the way that I thought it was. I thought it was all exposure and we need to know the truth and all that. Later on, I realized like there's so many people that how many times have we met a person and we've heard things about them and then when you hang out with them, you're like they're actually not that bad. Yep, totally. Jeremy, I have a voice like that. Yeah. Right? That's happened so many times. Is news just gossip because journalism is like, yo, I have this data, look at this evidence I found like I'm searching for the truth and a lot of times too, there's been times where you see something happening and a good neutral journalist will unveil, yo, that's not the actual truth. And I'm like, oh, I appreciate that. Like I got the other side. But then there's what it's become is obviously mega media corporations have turned it into clickbait. But like is news is news bad?
Is news gossip is a really good question. Is good journalism gossip? I don't think so. I think if it protects and it edifies and kind of like builds, sure. But gossiping again is always a negative connotation, right? You're never like that's good gossip. Like it's just bad. So if it again brings you closer to God, why not? If it takes you away from God, it's like that in our church is the same. Like I see people gossiping about Pastor Kim all the time or even are like head pastor. Oh, you know, he's 80 years old and you know, he shouldn't be doing that. And back then he was very angry and he did this and he did that. And I'm just like, what about this is going to bring me closer to God? If anything, because of that, I want to leave the church and then I don't want to even care about God anymore because I've laid all of my heart onto this person, all of my dependency onto this person, hoping and praying and believing that God has worked in his life. And now you're just like with your little words is undoing everything. And now I'm trying to look at this dude sideways. And I think it's just like, what about that is pushing you closer to God, you know? So again, journalism, God aside, is it leading you to more clarity? Because sometimes if you notice when it comes to gossiping or venting, it makes you feel worse. You guys ever vented before? And you're just like, I need to stop talking about this because this is actually triggering me. Like, I thought you're supposed to vent and release and be happy. And there's times where it literally goes the opposite end. So I would say that is bad. Now journalism obviously is different. It can't be cut and dry.
But it's like, I do believe that if it's something that is exposing and protecting other people, not just ego, not just pride, not just making you feel good, but genuinely like, hey, this is going on. And it's like murdering children. And it's like things like that. Yeah. I think you have to like televise that and be like, hey guys, this is like what's happening in Sweden. There's a journalist out there and he brings so much light to what Sweden is because people don't know what's going on. They don't know what's going on. They think Sweden is still Ikea and like, you know what I mean? But it's not. It's crazy right now. Right. And some experts say it's irreversible. We out of the gospel say it is not though. It is reversible. If you plant the gospel and don't gossip, don't gossip gospel, different G's. Well, so, OK, speaking of social media, this is kind of a different form of gossip. But is subtweeting a sin? Like, do you remember? Because now you're not naming anyone specifically. This is kind of more venting just grievances. But if you're subtweeting just like I hate when people at work do X, Y and Z. It's like it is that social media large scale gossip, but you're not necessarily calling anyone now or like what is nameless gossiping? Is that still I still think it is, because then what happens is it gives you like kind of a lens. And then when you like when someone fits that, you're like, oh, that's them.
So it does have this residual effect of like, hmm, like it seems harmless because it's not naming a name, but that doesn't mean anything. You'll then take that lens and then put it on to that person. And now you're judging them. And it may just be that you're wrong, like you're having a bad day or they're having a bad day. I don't think people should be judged by their bad days, but social media has done that where people crash out and then they're just like, whatever, I'm just going to keep crashing out then because everyone looks at me like that, like there's no incentive for a person to change. Then it's like you messed up this one time. I'm going to cancel you. That's why I have an issue with cancel culture. Sure. Right. It's like why? Why? Like a dude could have messed up one time. A person could have even went and cheated. Right. But then they're like, nope, once a cheater, always a cheater. Again, that's not naming a certain person, but you're now like, huh, that is true. Once a cheater, always a cheater. But I mentored a lot of cheaters who don't cheat anymore. Sure. Right. So it's like, what do you, what do you mean by that? Right. It makes sense, but it doesn't make sense. Oh, OF girl is just, they all love their job.
Like not necessarily. Right. They have things like that, but again, people don't care, you know, dang So I'm that kind of bigger more generalized non nameless got there like that nameless gossip Or just like it's just like pre judgments about anyone in general. It kind of fits into all groups of people even races culture Yes, just like Oh Disney adults, right? Oh, they're all gonna be weird. They're all right Yes, that one's facts Is it gossip if it's a fact yes, okay, well I'll say racist jokes it's like That's a form of gossip in a way because it's like this name So true to Jeremy can't drive bro got a Tesla and still can't drive Well got self driving and still can't the Tesla be buffering and I'm like, what is this on Asian? No, dude, the thing actually is hilarious. Like I can sit in his Tesla and text no problem But whenever Jeremy looks down it thinks his eyes are like close or not looking at the screen It's like no Tesla is a that way. Yes. The cameras are racist. It's like open your eyes He's like I am he goes a gronk. He's like I am I do have them open No, I mean that was it it's just kind of a discussion not really question, but it's just interesting I'd be clippy dang, but that's just also like you got to think of it like memes character every archetypes You know, like, you know the hot cheeto girl Generalizations in general, but they're so funny. Sometimes that's just a joke. I was just kind of just that it's just a joke That's why I think gossip is dangerous too because a lot of the times there's sarcasm weaved into it There's like like joking weaved into it, right? And what that does is it low-key tricks the mind to make everything light-hearted when it's actually not right So it's like how many times have I sat there and I was like, that's a funny joke And then I see it happen in real time and it's like even funnier but now it's like they're the meme right and it becomes like you now associate that person with The meme and it's like it's it's again slapping a lens onto somebody a label on to somebody for your entertainment Which is kind of crazy. I would say well, what if you know someone who clowns everyone all the time? Yeah, all every point and it's harmless for sure and hilarious. The Bible says joking is a sin Jeremy That's God we talked about this Look it is
No, we talked about this no, no, but I'm saying, you know How like how could not how could God not have a sense of humor if he made Aaron? This guy's ears are full of wax or something you got to listen But So then where do you draw the like is something dude sometimes Dave Chappelle hilarious Hilarious you'll find yourself laughing at yourself because it's so true like yeah Yeah and it's like that's kind of the line with comedians right comedians have this kind of blurry line where it's like as long as it's You legitimately can make it funny. It flies. I think intention then that means intent right because think about it They can joke around because they don't really believe that or mean that I would say right It's funny because they're placating they're making like, you know, something that's serious into something That's not and again, that's actually kind of uniting people and reconciling things, right? Look, yeah, Jeremy what Jeremy? What is it? I can't I'm just smiling We're sitting there and I'm literally talking about something He's like everyone we need to cut all these moments so that you guys think I'm interrupting because everyone's gonna hate me I'm just smiling already. No, what about all the 40 other? No, it's not that Jeremy cuts me off it's me to guys switch seats And I'm out of his eyesight It's called peripheral vision broke you don't go. Oh, yeah, you got the super peripheral vision I Think it's like the TRX and yeah the movie His eyes are just like they think instead of opening this way they go this way all the way the side of his head Who's the X-Men guy? Yeah, yeah But the lasers would never work This paper cut thin like Just like one line burnt in like Joking is like this blurry line where you could get what was the joke But it's like with comedians, it's only if it's they also say it's only a joke if it's funny, but then that's subjective. So it's like the goalpost moves.
But again, I think it's heart posture, right? Like, are they do they intend to divide with their jokes? I don't think so. I think they intend to unite and that's okay. They're making people laugh. I know why I'm laughing. Because oh, yeah. Who would know? Like, I know why you're laughing. No, I meant to say I was laughing earlier, but you were saying something and it stopped you and I was like because again, times have changed. So Shane Gillis is hilarious. One of the best comedians out right now. He does such a good impression on Trump. Trump just all his impressions are so Australian. Yeah, they're so funny. He's hilarious and I bet you if you didn't know who he was and I sat you down and you watch one of his specials, you would die laughing go on Netflix. Yeah, so he went it was this was around. Stop Asian hate. He made a joke where it was like Jeremy Lin was like found that in their armor right now. I'd be like, okay. Is that funny or not? Maybe not. I don't know. I thought it was fun. I thought that was funny. I thought it was exactly. I thought it was funny. But at the time it was right when stop Asian hate was and he got booted off of SNL. No, that was the joke. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, well on SNL. He said it on SNL. He said yeah, I think he said a joke. He made a joke on SNL or made the joke in a stand-up and I think it was during during next when Jeremy Lin was going through Linsanity. So he like found a chink in their armor and I'm like, I was like, that's funny, but everyone else was mad about it. So I was like, never mind. Not funny. We didn't stand 10 toes. Yeah, I didn't stand 10 toes. I was just like, oh, yeah, I guess it's not funny. Wow. I'm Asian. Yeah, how dare you wait and then now he's dude. He lost his foot like they people are saying cancel them out of venues. Like they really tried to hurt his career and he battled back to now where he's the biggest now when I look back. I'm like the jokes kind of funny. It is so so what I think like, okay people be so quick to like defend people right and be like that's wrong. That's racist. Okay, cool. That's cool. Of course, like you should speak up against racism, but you also have to see the heart posture of like certain people who are just like now is my time to show people how good I am. Like you have to be careful of that too. What's the genuinely performative? No, it's like it's like yes performative, but there's a word for it online for people who do that. I forgot virtue signaling virtue signaling. That's what it is. Like whatever that is. All I know is like y'all got to be able to discern like is a person doing this only because they live off of that and they have no other purpose but to show other people that they have a purpose and they love people and they want to show how good they are.
Like it's just it's kind of dangerous and it's not kind of it is dangerous to sit there and be like I'm a good person and I want to show you guys how much how good I am as a person then really is it because they're standing up for that and what's scary about that is that they can deceive themselves so much to think that that's what it is. Getting so angry thinking about this because when we got canceled there was a lot of that. There's people virtue signalers people like look at and then I look at their pages and I'm like, you're just a sad human. Yeah, I can just tell you're a sad human because things the things that you're making content about is not even hitting nobody cares about it. And then it's when you start to gossip about people. Those are the good videos and then give it some time. I would literally see their views die off again until they would try to something else would happen and they would jump on and get all that attention again. So you would say that a lot of people do this to get views to show that they're valid. Look how good I am. That's true. Yeah, that happens even in churches. It happens in a lot of places. So like I said guys be smart about it. Don't just like pitchfork everything just take us a second to think and be like, what is this person's intention behind all of this? Because just because not everything that's gold is what is it? Not everything that's gold is gold. Sometimes it's gold plated. It's like all butchered. Not everything that shines is gold. Is that what no not everything that glitters is gold or something? Yeah, it's glitters. All the glitters is gold. It means like just because outwardly it looks good does not mean it's actually good inwardly. Yeah, and just because something outwardly looks bad abrasive assertive harsh doesn't mean that it's like that. There's a lot of people like when I was at a convalescent home. There's a guy named Walter. He was really really old guy and so like a jarhead super like Marines, you know, serve the country for years was like said Korea like that didn't say like, you know, you would just be very mean like his voice would just be like what like that's how he talks like what what do you mean? I can't have my food. Why not? I pay every month.
Like he just talks like that. But when I spoke to him and got to know him, he's such a soft soul, but outwardly he's like this, I'm a man and I don't process emotions and I'm out, but he's very rigid, but internally, like he accepted the gospel like that. He, I gained his heart with Krispy Kreme donuts of all things. He like cried as he was eating. He's like, I haven't eaten this for a year. You love it. You'd be so you gained your heart over jajangmyeon. Look at this guy talking. He's like over a Krispy Kreme donuts. Oh man. You're a big back too. I am. I'm the biggest back, but I, but I genuinely like, I could see that then there's also like really nice people. There's a person I remember one time, same thing. It was like a grandma spoke really nice. Hey, how you doing super nice. Right. But then I swear, I challenged her on the Bible just a little bit. And she's like, where does it say that in the Bible? I was like, what, what happened to the, you know, it was like, where does it say that though? And I was like, nowhere. It's scary, dude. So again, the lesson here is just because someone outwardly looks like, I love you. A lot of this stuff is super performative. It's like, I love you, brother. Oh.
And then people are so surface level. He said, I love you. He said, he's praying for you. Come on. It's like, Oh my gosh, dude, you're crazy, bro. Oh, you're crazy. There's nothing worse. And I see those comments and people, and then I'm like, okay. The, the, the only worst thing than seeing a dumb comment is how many likes it'll get. Like, dang that many of you guys are that dumb. It's okay. Back to the social media thing. It doesn't even have to be them making content. It's in the comment section, you know, gossip and like, and yeah, whatever it is. True. Um, okay. Yeah. So I want to move over to a topic that, you know, very well because of your background in the underworld snitching. You did a lot of this. I know you did turn off the cameras right now. We catching the fade. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. You know, I'm changed. Yeah. I would have stand. You would have seen me. No, no. What is you, but I'm sorry.
What was that? Did you say something? Uh, anyways. So, uh, you know, when it comes to saying some calling someone a snitch, who's a gang member, bro, they literally go ape bananas, like go crazy. Even if you joke around, there's a few words that you shouldn't be saying. Oops. Snitch something else that rhymes with that, but starts with the B. Hmm. Got it. Okay. Those things you don't say stuff like that, but Jeremy is a square of me. And so we have to let squares. Circle. Hey, I never said I was a gang member. I'm a civilian dude. Relax. That's actually the W right there. Okay. So when should you speak up versus turn a blind eye? If something shares something that could be harmful to somebody else again, when it's, when it's harmful towards somebody else, like if it's like, you know, someone, if it's not, if it's protecting someone, I think that's okay. If it's pushing them closer to God, I think that's okay. But again, that's, it's difficult, right? There's times where I've seen it happen in both where someone chose, I'm not going to say nothing. And the situation came out to be like, wow, I'm so thankful. I didn't. Cause there was a misunderstanding or there was a et cetera, et cetera.
And then there's times where I've seen it the other way, where it's like, it is protecting someone. I'm going to say it and it ruined people. There was a story I don't want to go to in detail. Somebody told somebody something and it ended up with somebody killing somebody. And then in the end, they, they got the facts messed up. This happened. And so this person died. This other person went to prison and that other person just went off scotch free and was like, oh, my bad. But it was so absurd that in the whole area, it was like this thing where it was like that person did wrong. But that person wasn't wrong. So again, it's, it's so sad that that's why I think it's just better to leave it to God. Like genuinely it's, that is the answer to everything. Like God will reveal those types of things. You know, God will expose those things and he will help clear, clarify those things. There's many things that people have came to me too, about certain things. And there's times where I'm like, I should tell this, I should say this. I shouldn't say this, whatever. But I, if I just take a second to like sit back and chill genuinely, it always resolves itself in life. It's the same too, guys. Like, even if you have a problem and you just kind of like muscle through it, I'm sure, I don't know about y'all. but I had this thought where before I was getting out of the pen, I was like, my life is going to be ruined. I'm a two strike felon. I don't have anything to my name. I'm cooked. I'm going to come back here. I'm going to die in here, or I'm going to die in the streets. That's it. And then at that time, I wasn't sure if the homies were going to plug me in. I wasn't sure if I could
even touch anything that would make money. I didn't even have money to then make money. I didn't know if people were going to front me certain things. I literally was like, I'm going to come out of here and I'm going to die. And from that moment, I had a thought, should I catch my third strike in here? Because at least in here, I am going to live. I am respected. I have three hots in a cot. I'm well known. My homies are here. I could just die with my friends. Doesn't seem too bad. But in the end, look at how my life turned out now. So again, you guys can just sit back and think just a little bit. Do this exercise and be like, when did I ever think of something like when I lost my job or I lost my spouse or I lost something that my life immediately was going to be ruined, which most of us think we're not going to be able to pay rent, whatever. But you're still over here somehow being able to have Wi-Fi watching our freaking podcast. You know what I mean? Like it's always the most extreme thing. And I think that's with gossip and what other people say about us, too. Yes, you can choose to, you know, expose and say whatever you got to say. But at the end of the day, it doesn't really. I've known people who it's caused more problems. I've seen people come and go, hey, I was just sharing that with you. Why did you go and like take it into your own hands? We know someone recently that kind of this happened where they took their matters into their own hands and they went and called everybody else's family, that person's family. And now that person went back and started doing that. And these people were supposed to basically get married. And now it's done. It's over. It's like whereas it could have just been a hey, like you're having an issue. We're having disagreement. Let's just chill. Let's just see what happens. And that's I think it would have been OK. Patience. Yeah. Patience and then allow having faith because you can't just have patience if you have patience without faith and that's grueling. Right. You're just going to be like, oh, what's going to happen? Patience with faith is God. I don't know what's going to happen, but you know what's going to happen. And all I got to do is trust you because based off of that trust, you will work. You can't you're not going to leave me hanging like I'm your son. I'm your daughter. Why would you do that to me? And through that, you're then able to have everything fall through. Pastor Kim never told me you're going to do this. You're going to do that. Whatever. All he said was, don't you believe, Johnny, that God is going to help you? Do you think he gave you a crazy life to then not help you? Like why? If he if you got shot that one time, you could have just died right there. Why did he keep you alive? Can you not see at least that he's going to help you? You may not know how he's going to help you, but that's why you need
faith. But you and you can bank on one thing. He is going to help you. And and it's so true. It's so true. I didn't have to know everything. I didn't have to figure everything out. I didn't have to get an education. I didn't have to do any of that stuff. Right. I just yeah. God brought me you, Jeremy and Aaron. Left brain, right brain. What happens if somebody shares something with you and you say, hey, I'm going to go and like it's it's it's harmful to somebody else and I should go speak up. You speak up and then it backfires. The person that you try to share that with is like, dude, why are you coming to me? They find out that you've told and now it's backfired on you when you were like it could have been harmful. And I was doing the best that I could, you know, in that situation. Yeah, I think you do what Jesus did. Right. He spoke truth and then was still misunderstood. So you have to understand that there's times where you will be misunderstood even when you keep it real. Jesus spoke truth. It was like, hey, dad, I'm going to go tell them that I saved them and literally they killed him for that. Right. So I would say you being obedient and like going and telling somebody something does not guarantee like a person's approval. Right. Like there are again. That's why I think silence proverbs. If you guys want to learn how to talk and speak to people, you have to learn from King Solomon. He dealt with all kinds of people. He had a thousand frigging women. Right. But on top of that, he dealt with kings, majesties, like all kinds of just conquerors and all that. And he knew exactly what to say. So I would say, you know, learning how to talk to people. And he says it. He says, stay silent in Proverbs 17. A fool even looks wide when he stays wise, when he stays silent and don't argue because there's another saying, right, like a scholar and an a scholar and a fool look the same from afar. Right. It's like both bars. True. Solomon got some heaters. Right. So it's like it's literally like don't you're literally it's better to just be. Like, I'll allow the truth to come out when it needs to come out, and God, you know my obedience, let me just step out of it. It's just wisdom. Wisdom is not every truth needs to be told, and every lie needs to be addressed. Like, that's not wisdom.
That actually causes more problems, right? And when anyone who I feel like is like, I'm this freaking crusader, and I need a crusader of truth, and a warrior of truth, and blah, blah, blah. To me, they're all so engulfed with this performative, I need to prove myself. They feel like they have to validate themselves. Why? Because people who have to validate themselves, they feel like they're invalid, right? And that's because they don't have faith. For me, there's a lot of things that people have said about even my own family members, where I'm like, you know what? I don't need to tell my dad that. I don't need to tell my mom that. There was a thing, right, where one of the, so the people that we are, we're Shandong people, right? Shandong is Northern China, and we're like known for being tall, creating noodles, et cetera, et cetera. He's like tall, handsome, smart. Double jawline, knee surgery, but not no knee surgery. Yeah. So he, there was a guy who grew up with my dad, and he told me like a secret about my dad, right? That was kind of really bad, and could pretty much tear apart our family. But having the wisdom that I had,
this was like maybe four years ago, maybe five years ago. This dude was like telling me all this stuff about my dad and what he did to my mom that was worse than the things that we already like kind of unpacked here. And I had to make a conscientious decision, like do I tell my mom this, and then it just like breaks her to death? Or do I like, you know, just keep it to myself? And so when I went to pastor, do you know what pastor told me? He said in Isaiah 43, he's like, those are things of the past, Johnny. You don't even have to bring it up. Because he's changed. He's not that person anymore. Your mom's not that woman anymore. You guys are fine. What's the issue of digging up like old skeletons and things like that? And how is that gonna edify anybody? And there was a conflict of like, that's so true. Should I tell him the truth and like be honest with him? But I knew one thing, his heart wasn't ready for that. But most people, it takes us a certain type of human being to be able to do this, to tell somebody else. And it's just this one thing. If you don't think about other people, and you only think about yourself, then you will go and kind of like hurt people. Because how can you, right?
If I sat here and I was like, no, but I'm the son and I should be right and I should be telling my mom because I love my mom and I and me and I and me, then if I did that, it would probably ruin the family dynamic 1000%, even with the gospel, right? So I genuinely feel like with that being said, like I didn't say anything and I had my clarity through the servant and I released it up to God and everything has been fine. Nothing has been an issue, right? Whereas like people are like, oh, I need to tell them because it's eating at me and the enemy will just eat at you and condemn you and not let you sleep. And then you go and you tell someone and yeah, you may feel relieved, but you just ruined everybody else's life basically. Right? So it's like rather we're always called to kind of take on that and be like, let me bring it up to God. Yeah. We're hiring guys. Core of the heart is hiring, but listen carefully. We're not just building a company. We're building one of the fastest growing Christian communities in the world. In just a year and a half, this community has grown to over 3 million strong and we're nowhere near done.
Our mission is simple, but massive to build the best tools and resources to help anyone in the world get closer to God. Our first immediate goal is to get a hundred million people into heaven. So when we say we're hiring, understand this. We're not looking for employees. We're looking for mission driven A players that want to change the world. Our criteria is simple. Don't show us what you could do. Show us what you've already mastered. Like if you want to be the short form editor, show me the millions of views you've gotten on short form. If you want to be the podcast producer, show me the shows that you've successfully produced. We've learned the hard way not to hire off potential. We just want to hire off of peer experience. People who have already proven that they can perform at their skillset at the highest level. We have jobs available in many different departments, media and content, live events, and marketing. We also have remote jobs and LA based jobs available. If you're an A player that has mastered their craft and wants to do something that glorifies God, then please head to the link in our description and check out the job board. And lastly, if you're an absolute beast at something and you don't see it on the job board, please reach out.
I mean, you know, you might be able to do it for us. It might work out. So if you're amazing at something, you don't see the perfect job description, just reach out, tell us what you're good at. Maybe it'll work. Genuinely, I can't do this without a team. So I'm very thankful for. Anyone who supports the mission, I look forward to hearing from you guys. Have you guys ever had somebody gossip about you guys, but then not address it and just be like, you know what? Whether it was because you're too busy or you're just like, I don't care that much. And then when you don't address it, would you guys say, was it net negative in terms of like, was it a bad thing because you didn't address it? Did it get worse because you didn't address it? Or was there a time where it really got better? I'll start, right? Me, when I didn't address certain things, it was almost like nothing happened. But when I did address it, especially when it came to street politics, it got worse. It got worse for me. Like, oh yeah, someone says something to somebody about you. And I was like, what? And I would go and I would confront them. And then because they don't wanna feel like a coward,
then they stand 10 toes, even though I could tell that that's not really what they meant or they were, maybe had some alcohol involved or whatever. And then it got really bad, like violent, right? Whereas like there's times now where people say something and I'm like, and literally nothing happens. Your life just gets better. And I'm like, dang, all the faces that I punched in and all the people that I stomped out for what? Just because they said something like, dang, that's crazy to me, you know? So I don't know. Did you guys ever have that? No, I agree fully. I was gonna say the same thing. Times people have gossiped about me that I haven't confronted them, that's about 99.9% of the times. Like you guys know I'm not confrontational. I never will confront people. And then yeah, most of the time, nothing will happen. Like it definitely comes from, this next thing I'm gonna say might be like a little pretentious or whatever, but when people would hate on me in the comments when I was doing the DJ thing at a live stream and people would hate, they would make videos against me, they would leave comments against me. I just wouldn't pay attention to almost any of it
because it's like, who the heck are you anyway? It's like, Jake Paul said on the video in the School of Hard Knocks video the other day, it's like, rarely people that are hating on you are doing better than you. Because it's like everyone who was at my level or peers or people that I was collaborating with loved everything I was doing. But it'd be these random comments that were hating and I'm just like, all right, no difference. It's like Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty is like, your boos mean nothing to me. I've seen what makes you cheer. It's like, why would I care about y'all's opinions when you're out here listening to stuff like whatever it is? Yeah, I almost never pay attention to people talking to me. Only when I've met you have I actually started confronting people or calling things out or having conversations. But up until then, it was just like, whatever. Never take no mind to it. Fakity facts. I'm in a weird area. You respond to everyone. This guy responds to everyone. No, I don't. No, I don't. No, I don't. No, I don't. So don't come at me.
Come at Jeremy. Every DM, every comment. Let me explain the first one. Let me explain the first one. The first one, the first time I had like a mega cancellation where it was getting millions of views and I was being put on like Yahoo front page and Business Insider and all these websites was I filmed, I used to vlog for Nectar and I was just making this goofy video about how I was going to the airport. By the way, if you ever wanna go viral, just make any video in the airport. Doesn't matter. It's instant free views. But I'm going up to the front desk and it's like an Asian lady, but she's like a very typical Asian mom. Just like super harsh. Like your suitcase has crack. Like we're not gonna pay for it. Tape it up. And I'm just kind of laughing and joking with her because I'm like, oh, she's funny. But she's like kind of like, she's showing me like motherly, tough Asian love. And I'm like, this is exactly like how my mom would treat me. It's just funny how this lady just like brings it to work and treats just people randomly.
And so there was a humor aspect to it. And I was like, yeah, no harm, no foul. And when I posted it, my followers all were laughing. They're like, oh my God, typical Asian mom. My mom's like that or whatever. And then it just caught another side of the internet. And they're like, wow, this guy put her on camera. How dare he, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Wow. And then other people were like, oh, she was so rude. How dare this work? And I was like, no, no, no. I wasn't trying to make her look rude. And then they're like, there was one part of the video. This is the thing that I got flamed for. She's like yelling at me. And I turned the camera towards myself. I'm like, man, she's mad. And then as a joke, and I flip it back and people were like, wow, look at this guy being sarcastic when she's just trying to do her job. She's not just, and dude, it blew up. And there was a part where I was winning the comment war. I was like, guys, hold up, hold up. Listen, I'm on the road. I have to be, I'm solo. I'm filming myself. I was a one man machine. You ever seen those photos of the guy that has the drums, the pianos and the guitar and playing all at once.
That was me on the road. I was filming in the store, setting up, selling, vlogging all of that at once. And so it was impossible for me because I'd be away from my phone for hours at a time to really like defend myself. And then the videos, the comments got. Crazier and crazier and crazier people are reposting the video How many million views do you think you got? I had to so what I did because at some point I was like this is People investors and people were getting scared So I hit all the videos and I was like before and then because news articles started posting the videos It was going beyond belief. I'm like, I don't want this lady to get fired Yeah, like like like it's this was that was not the purpose of this I don't care about me, but I don't want this lady to get fired and people that are coming after It's not cool and so I hid the videos but when I hid the videos it had 10 million on instagram and it had something like six million on on on tiki tiki and was right, it was Going it was going and I was it was like doubling every day and I was just like, oh my gosh And because the news article started writing about it. So, um, I hid the videos and And a lot of people were like cancel his drink blah blah blah And that felt bad for a while because that was the first time I got like mega mega mega canceled I was getting mega mega mega canceled and so I just You know, I shut off the videos focus on the rest of the weekend and within a week or two It like completely went away. Nobody remember it. Nobody Nobody remembered it or thought about it, but there was one guy One person in my friend group that was like you have no huevos This guy was like you should have left it up I always said he should have left you should have left it up. You never really told me the lady getting fired point
That's a pretty good point. Yeah, but I remember It you were getting pushback from your co-founders and they were being such babies and everyone thought it was so bad I'm, like this is the best possible thing ever It was a video of him shipping drinks across the country for a launch and it was getting millions of views I'm, like this is the best publicity of all time. I mean we're saying negative things about there was other videos You guys didn't want to take down but I was always just wishing you guys kept up. I won't even bring up But so when I think about that though one if I didn't have to be on the road all day I would have kept the video up and been in the comments and making reply videos and being like dude If you didn't get the joke if you're not asian, you don't really understand. I don't want the lady to get fired I just couldn't make a thoughtful video like that Everything was so busy and it was so even if you did that they wouldn't care either Right. I would just be silent. I I also hate when people post something and then it's just them fighting for their life in the comments It's like just just know what you did Stand tan toes down if you're posting the video or don't post it and then let that ride It's like people disagree. They just don't get it to the second time. I got mega canceled I also wish I just stayed stand at 10 toes. I wish I left the videos up I wish the investors didn't make us shut down the other podcast and I wish I could have just said yeah, I said what I said Yeah No, not even that. No, just even then though you were fighting for your life. You were in in all no They made us do an apology. I didn't write any comments. I didn't care. I genuinely that time around I didn't care I was not fighting in the comments. I was like, I don't want to apologize all of that came to be what it would You know what? I mean? What i'm saying is even when that happened, how did it work out? It all worked out for the greater good bros over here and caught the hot Yeah, so one day one day i'll tell my full life story if they anybody cares Yeah, it's kind of wild how we all met but it's good. It's good that like you, you know, like I said, it's it's It's It all ends up working to my point It all ends up like just tapering off and working out at the end of the day true however, which way whether it's with this platform that platform, whatever like Guys, you guys can't cancel like children of god, right?
It's like we're all children of god and like god is gonna work in whatever way think about the people that quote unquote got cancelled You think like like maybe you affected their lives and if you want to affect their lives, that's kind of bad on you Right. Yeah, but god is genuinely like merciful to everybody People who gossip god still gives him breath in their lungs. There are people who have committed adultery He still pieces he gives them marriage at times There are people who have even smoked people and like committed heinous crimes and god has still given them, you know salvation So it's like we should be Genuinely, I see with my peripheral What what did you see you went Is this what we work for That's your assumptions Scripture popped up but yeah, so genuinely though like it's just it's if you guys can have the heart posture to be like We can forgive people because we're forgiven don't try to be like i'm gonna forgive somebody because it's the right thing to do again Very performative. No The right thing to do is not because you are getting exalted and you forgive them so you feel better and people can look at You go. Wow, you forgave them you forgive because god forgave you point blank period That's it So everyone who gossips about us we forgive you. That's okay continue. It's okay. God still loves you, but understand one thing it If you spend the amount of time you gossip on people touching some bread Touching grass, preaching the gospel, no, genuinely preaching the gospel and praying to God. If you gossip to God as much as you gossip to your friends and you pray to him, I think he would help you a lot more. That's just what I'm saying. Would you guys agree? Amen. Amen, Ziz. I think you're right, ultimately. I guess sometimes, you know, you just feel like you want to defend yourself. Yeah. Yeah. Defending yourself is not a problem, but what are you defending for, right? It's like, it's let God be your defender. Like, that's what I've learned, man. And that's just coming from me, who's like, he can say anything about me. I can't even sleep at night type of thing. Does it bother you though, like even the Halloween episode, remember how that clip was going bananas? It's like, you know, we blocked the comments because it's like, it's not your,
our page, our rules. You know what I'm saying? You don't get to come on here and like spread false things. Sure. But at times, um, that doesn't bother you where you're like, dude, they're misunderstanding me completely over a clip. I don't think it does only because I know that they're determined to misunderstand. I think that's their, their motive. Cause they couldn't want to watch the full episode. Sure. I think, and I, and I genuinely see that they don't even watch the full clip. So then why is that going to affect me? That says more about you than me. I'm going to sit here. And as soon as you said Halloween, like then I, I mean like you, you got more problems than me. If, if you, Proverbs 18, 13 says to him, who answers a matter before he hearth it to him, it is folly and shame it's foolishness and shameful. It's like, how many times have we sat there and misunderstood somebody? We, we didn't let them finish their sentence. And we're like, no. And then later they're like, no, I was literally saying what you were saying. And you're like, oh, it just feels horrible. Right? So I just let, again, God do that. Like y'all could say whatever you guys want. The beautiful thing about being in America is like, you could have freedom of speech. If y'all go to China, you guys go to these different countries. They won't even allow you to freaking speak about them. Yes. Literally the fact that you guys can do it. Amen. I just hope you guys can see it from that perspective. Like, dang, I could make a comment and I could spend the same amount of time. It takes to make a comment, a hateful comment. You can spend the same amount of time making a positive comment or a constructive comment, right? You can give constructive criticism. We're not, not teachable here where you can say, Hey, I didn't really understand this. Can you go a little bit in depth? And we see comments like that too. Hey, Johnny. So could you clarify a little more that actually gives us more motivation to then clarify, make a follow-up video. But if it's like, no, incorrect, wrong. Like, you know, they lead with that and they're like, you're an idiot. You shouldn't be doing that, bro. Got demon tattoo on his neck. He needs to repent. And it's like, uh, what does that have to do with the video at hand? Like you're just ad hominem, right? It's like, you don't care about what I have to say. So if you don't care about what I have to say respectfully, why do I have to care about what you have to say? It's just the truth. It's just the truth. And so I'm like, look, y'all don't like me. Don't trip. I don't have to match that energy and not like you, but why would I then sit there and give the amount of time to you who doesn't care about me and doesn't even want to listen to me and won't even give me the time of day to explain myself,
even if I did. And even if I did explain myself, you wouldn't accept it anyways, then spending that hour debating you preaching the gospel and bringing more people in souls to Christ. Like I don't, I even just logically speaking, emotions aside, who in their right mind would sit there and go, I'm going to try my best to placate to your feelings, feelings that change and to convince you when there's other people who are just have the ears to hear and the eyes to see. Why wouldn't I? That's just wisdom at the end of the day. You have to be wise with your time guys. I could spend a dollar, make a dollar. No problem. Spend money. That's cool. But you cannot spend a second and make a second. Like we have a set amount of time on this earth that no one knows how long we have. And like, you should spend every single time winning souls, every single amount of time that you have on this earth, you should spend it winning souls, not winning arguments and not trying to convince people or change their views. Like they have, they're set in their ways. You have to just accept that. That's the biggest thing I've learned just being on social media and just realizing and nine times out of 10, they're not going to say it to you in your face anyways. Literally they're, I come from, I come from an era where it has never been okay to hate on a fellow brother or sister. Like you have a problem with them. Look, being in prison, level four, level threes, California youth authority, even these are the worst of the worst people. And even we know because there's mutual violence, there's mutual, you know, danger and respect. We're able to go, Hey bro, can I pull you to the side and holler at you, like, I didn't like the way you got at me on the handball court. I didn't like the way you got at me at the chow hall. I didn't like the way you got at me in front of the homies. These are hardened criminals who have literally dysfunctional families, broken homes, compounded trauma, can sit there and go, I need to holler at you about something, pull you to the side. And yes, there's emotions involved, but be able to resolve. I've done that with a gang of people, homies from Long Beach, people from different hoods, people who shot at my homies. Like, I was able to sit there and have a conversation with them and go, Hey, I didn't like that. Could you, could you clarify this for me? And then we didn't go to like blown, like, you know, throwing fists and like, you know, fist to cuffs. We had an, a grown adult conversation and squash the beef right there through words. If hardened level four maximum security gang members who are second class citizens, top of the bottom in society can do this. How is it that you
guys who are educated, claim to love God, claim to know about God, 1500 years before us have believe in the church fathers, submit to Rome, this, that, and the third can have a conversation with somebody and just want to go to like, I want to, you know, assassinate this person, whether it's their platform, whether it's like praying against, like we've had people pray against for, against me for my death. Like I'm, I'm of God, but I'm going to pray for you to die. That is wild. Where does in the Bible, does it ever say that? Right. And it's like, at the end of the day, it's, we can sit there and, you know, combat each other and go back and forth and debate each other. But I think it's more important to sit there and go, let's have a conversation. And even if we don't have a conversation, cause I'm unreachable at times, I understand why not go to God about me? Why not go, Hey God, I don't understand what this guy is saying. It seems like he's spreading this, this, and this kind of rock in my foundation. I don't feel comfortable with this brother, but Lord, I know that you're obviously allowing him to live and to preach the gospel. There's obviously people who are coming to him. If he's really that wicked and deceiving people, Lord, I pray for him that he comes to the truth. Why can't it be as simple as that versus jumping in the tick tocks and jumping in the, you know, IgE and jumping in the social media and literally trying to like verbally abuse us simply because you don't have faith. Right. I don't even understand the thought process between behind people who leave hate comments. Like, I don't know about you guys, but I don't know if I've like ever just left random hate comments. Like I've left positive comments on videos, but it's like, if like you control your algorithm, like if you're watching something that you don't like, you can scroll I said not interested, literally scroll away, not interested, even block the person switch apps. There's like 10 levels of precaution you can take if you're not liking what you're seeing, who gets to leave a hate comment. Like I've seen videos that I hate. I've seen videos where people say things that I horribly disagree with. And there's, and I think that's terrible, but I would never like, I don't know what levels you have to go to take it to be like, where I'd be like, nah, this guy's full of crap. This guy sucks. I hate him. Kill him. It's like pride. Honestly, I would say that that's pride because you feel like what you have to say is valid. And it doesn't matter if you're hurting people because you feel like you're right. And so you're like, I don't, I'm telling truth right here. And boom, and you do that. And it literally can like hurt people. There's comments
that have caused people to like die. There's people that I know who've like literally like took their life because somebody said something about them, you know, and then, you know, what's crazy is when we bring it up to somebody who that somebody who said it, they're like, well, too bad. They shouldn't have done that. Like, there's no remorse. It's just like, and then I'm like, but if that was your brother or your dad or like your uncle or someone close to you, would you be like, well, too bad. Yeah. Right. And to be right. Some of them would even go, well, yeah, if my dad was like that, then too bad. He deserves to die. It's like whole, no, you deserve to die. That's so true. People will literally take it to that level. Well, even if it was my dad, well then too bad. It's like, okay, but let's see how that turns out in reality. It's just not true. Exactly. It's like, that's to me like the equivalent of like, they go like writing hate comments all over the internet or going into like lives and arguing with people. It's like equivalent of like real life. If you get in your car, you go to neighborhoods you hate and you'd like try to start fights. You talk out your window. Yeah. Your line is tacky. You would never do that in real life because you will get the hands. Oh, for sure. Figurative facts. It makes me sick. Honestly, when people justify something bad because they think they're doing something right. So how old were you when you learned that two wrongs don't make a right? Like how, like, it's a crazy that adults have to be told don't make a right. Like I'll use a really harsh example that honestly I can't stand. This dude just learned it. I said 24. No. 25. 25. I was going to say yeah, 25. But there's a lot of grown adults who still don't realize two wrongs don't make a right. Like, I'll use a really harsh example that honestly bothers me, but it is what it is. And a lot of people what you're about to say about me, you know, not you, not you. And a lot of people might disagree with me for saying this, to be honest. Even you, maybe. I don't know. Yeah, but vitality, you guys know, vitality, the prankster, vitality, vitality. So he'll prank, he'll, they'll, you know, like, uh, when they like predator poachers, well, they're like, Oh, what was the PDF file? Who was the guy who had the big pants? Chris Hansen, how to catch a predator, right? So now people on YouTube will kind of do their own versions of it.
And they'll make this YouTube videos about it. And that's fine. And there's been YouTubers like that forever, forever, but they'll vitality specifically. And other people like him would just torture these people. They would lure them into a house under the guise of meeting up with an underage kid. And then they would shave their head and make them eat the hot sauce challenge. Just basically torture these people, fight a professional boxer, like whatever it is, whatever it is. And everyone's just like loving it because, oh, he's this terrible person. You can do whatever you want to him. And it's just like two wrongs don't make a right. I'm watching people, their mouths watering, just eating popcorn and watching a human being tortured. And sure, maybe they're a bad person for all these X, Y, Z reasons. I'm not defending those people by any means, but it's people using the guise of, oh, I'm right. So now I can do whatever I want because I'm right. This person's horrible. I'm going to do whatever I want. Even torture them, like things that if it was a regular person, you'd go to jail for. The only reason they're not going to jail is because this person isn't filing assault charges or whatever, because they're trying to get out of the situation they're stuck in. But it's just taking advantage of a horrible situation. It's just so pathetic and horrible. But talk that talk. Same thing in the comments, honestly. They think they can talk hella smack because they're like, oh, I'm right. You're wrong. I'm right. So I'm going to say horrible things. Mean things. I'm going to pray for you to die. It's like, yeah, if that was a regular person who you didn't think did something wrong, that would be a horrible sin. Would you just pray for random people to die?
It's like you need to take into consideration that you being right doesn't give you a reason to do something wrong. Bars. Wow. Aaron Chang just went off. I mean, that is like a basic like if you didn't learn that in kindergarten, like catch up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Exactly. Yeah, I agree. I agree is old. Yeah. You didn't learn that that young. Totally. When did you learn that? Just now. 20 seconds ago. He's like, hmm. I mean, yeah, I mean, yeah. Oh, this is what this is. Good stuff. Wow. Yeah, this all ties into gossip. I don't like this guy supports PDFs. Yeah. Tied in. No, tied in. Tied in. I mean, I think that's what it comes down to, because gossiping at the end of the day is pride. And I think it's it's two things. Pride, ignorance and arrogance, which ties into pride. A lot of people don't know that they're doing certain things and then other people are like, I know I'm doing it and I don't care.
It's like the so what energy, right? Like you say, well, they were wrong. So I could be just as wrong or even worse because they're wrong first. So I'm just defending the truth and I'm doing the incorrect guys. The defender of truth is Jesus Christ and God. And you're supposed to add in in Romans. It talks about this. Try your best to live at peace with all men, with all people. Peace is always number one, not I'm right, not all just truth, because there's a lot of things that are true that are wrong. Right. And so at the end of the day, you know, you got to be able to put God first. You got to be able to seek peace first. And then with peace, it validates everything and reconciles everything. So that's my advice to everybody else here. Not pride, peace, different piece. Wow. Amazing. Hey, man, that was a great episode. That concludes this episode on gossip. I hope that was very fruitful for you guys. And if you guys have any other questions or maybe suggestions, put them in the comments, guys. Jeremy will read them. I might look at them. Who knows? But, you know. Oh, darn. I forgot to say this at the beginning of the episode, but I really love the comments that have timestamps. Like I've seen comments where they'll like leave multiple timestamps of their favorite parts throughout the episode. I'm going to say this at the beginning of the next episode so people can do it. Now you don't have to retroactively go back.
But please leave comments with your just favorite moments with the timestamps, because it helps people who maybe don't have time to watch the full episode or whatever. They just click it to their moment. You guys are basically clipping by leaving those timestamps. Like leave your favorite moments of timestamps, please. Yes. And give like a little description. Why? Don't just be like timestamp done. Like tell us why you clipped that, why you chose that, what was impactful, et cetera, et cetera. Aaron, do you want some glaze? Did you look at the top comment of the most recent episode? I know, I saw that. Instead of calling you gay, they glazed. Ladies, relax, relax. Please, please, turn these cameras off. Yes, thank you, everyone. You're welcome. You're no longer clouding your physical appearance like your feet. No longer super high sexuality. Yeah, yeah, true. I went for the butt of all the comments to some glaze. Finally, I know you finally. But it's so funny. It's like I don't know if I told this story, but I bet someone like, oh, my gosh, I love the podcast. You, Jeremy, Eric. I was like, no, that's not his name. Eric, Andrew, Aaron. I was like, the third one is like, Andrew, Aaron. I was like, you really don't watch the podcast or when they spell his name with
the E. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, the girl way. Yeah. Is that the girl way? Yeah, I think it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyways, appreciate you guys for tuning in. And just like unlearned wisdom fashion, we always end with the prayer. So let us bow our heads and let us pray. Father God, we're very appreciative, Lord, that you're giving us this episode on gossiping. There's so many things that we do, including gossiping, God, that we don't realize and subconsciously kind of perpetuate to everybody around us. Lord, please allow us rather than gossip to preach the gospel. The gospel is something that sets us free, brings peace. It reconciles.
