Shaking Off the Dust

A lot of people give their life to Jesus and they're still bound. Let's just be real, still tormented, still carrying the dust from the streets, or the pain from the past, or the demons from the doorways they once opened. Again, salvation gives you a new spirit, you're born again, but deliverance cleans up your soul. You can be saved and still struggle. You can be baptized and still feel attacked. You can love Jesus and still be tormented by demonic influence that was never confronted. This is why this course, this one is called Shaking Off the Dust. Because when Jesus sent his disciples into towns to preach, he told them, if people reject the truth, shake the dust off your feet and move forward. And some of you got saved and never shook off the dust. The dust of lust, the dust of trauma, the dust of witchcraft, religion, abuse, addiction, fear, rejection. But here's the good news. Jesus doesn't just save, he delivers. Luke 4.18 says, That means part of your freedom comes through deliverance, not hype, not emotion, not religious routine, but real supernatural cleansing power of the Holy Spirit. So deliverance means identifying with still holding you, closing doors you opened in the past, renouncing agreements with darkness, casting out spirits that don't belong, and receiving healing in your soul. I always say this, God anointed you to cast devils out, not only casting demons out of other people, but even sometimes yourself, and that's okay. The Holy Spirit wants to free you. He wants you to be set free by these demonic spirits that are oppressing you.

When you come to Christ, you can never be possessed by a demon again, because you have the Holy Spirit, but you can be oppressed or demonized. Some of you have been molested, abused, rejected, and you never healed. Some of you dabbled in crystals, tarot, new age, or even just religion. Some of you opened the doors to drugs, fornication, sex, porn, rebellion, and now you hear voices, feel heaviness, get sleep paralysis, or battle shame every day. God doesn't want that for you. If you're trying to stand on truth, and you're trying to read the word, and you're trying to pray, and you keep getting oppressed by these things, you need deliverance. You need to literally command those spirits out of you. You need to have the revelation that these spirits are in your soul, your mind, will, and emotions, and they need to come out in the name of Jesus. You don't need to come to the altar every service, even though you can, but you don't have to come for deliverance every service at the altar. You don't have to go looking all over the world for a deliverance minister. You don't have to, even though people can pray for you for deliverance, some people are specifically assigned for that purpose in ministry, which is deliverance ministry. Everyone's called the cast out demons, but some are actually ordained to specifically stick to deliverance ministry, to teach it, and to apply it, and to pray for people, and you can go to these people. There's no problem. Just like at the Rock, we have a strong deliverance ministry, but if you just seek deliverance ministries, I call them deliverance junkies, you're going to always be looking instead of learning

that you have the same power inside of you, and all you got to do by faith is command it to come out in the name of Jesus. But I want you to know that it's not your portion. God does not want you to have demons. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and what doesn't look like Jesus has to go. Deliverance isn't weird. It's biblical. Jesus casted out demons everywhere he went, in the synagogues, aka nowadays churches, in homes, on the streets. He said in Mark 16, 17, again, these signs will follow those who believe in my name. They will cast out demons. So if Jesus did it and told us to do it, why are we still tolerating what he came to evict? Listen, if you've already been delivered, praise God, don't go seeking to see, oh, do I have a demon? Do I have a demon? That's fear. Don't do that. If you're set free, you're set free, and you don't need deliverance. But if you know what I'm saying is real, and it's happening to you, and you're getting the sleep paralysis, or you're overwhelmed too much, and it's too much weight, and you can't break through,

you need that devil cast it out. And this is your moment to confront those things that have been hiding in the dark. Some of you, again, need to go through personal deliverance. Some of you need to fast, get along with God, and ask him to reveal what's not from him. I do that regularly. Especially when I first got saved, I fasted a lot because I was getting freedom, and I needed to be in the spirit because there was oppressive spirits coming against my mind, will, and emotions, and I had to get freedom. I've been through a lot. been through a lot for 29 years. So you might need to fast and pray. Get along with God. Some of you might need help, and again, we're at the Remnant Revival Outreach Center. We do our deliverance ministry. We have deliverance in our ministry, and it's strong. You can come to the rock and get freedom. Reach out to someone anointed and mature. That's why it's important to be part of a local church, and if you're part of our international community, praise God. You can hit up somebody internationally. Look, but don't stay stuck. Don't normalize torment. Don't build theology around your bondage.

Get freed and stay free, because the same Jesus who broke the grave wants to break the chains off your life. It's time to shake the dust. I want you to pray this with me right now. Jesus, I surrender everything. If there's anything in me that's not from you, I give you permission to remove it now. Say, I break every agreement with darkness. Say, I renounce every lie. And say, I receive the fullness of your freedom by the Holy Spirit. Now say, Holy Spirit, cleanse me, fill me, and make me whole in Jesus' name. Praise God. Freedom is your inheritance. Don't settle for less. Let's walk clean. Let's walk free, and I'll see you in the next lesson. God bless.
