Born Again

Let me ask you a question. Do you really know what the gospel is? Because whether you just got saved or you've been walking this walk out with Jesus for years, this is a message that you can never graduate from. It's not just the entry point to Christianity, it's the foundation of everything, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Simply the word gospel means good news. And you'd be surprised how many Christians don't know this. When I evangelize, I'll ask, what's the gospel? And people will say, what are you talking about? Church, music, a singer? But gospel simply means good news. But good news doesn't mean much until you understand the bad news. So whether or not you're already saved, some of you might be watching this and you're not born again yet. And this video might actually bring you to Christ. Some of you already are born again. The spirit of God bears witness to this, you know it. But this might be a refresher so you can actually preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with efficiency. The Bible says it's the gospel of Jesus Christ that saves, right? So look at this. This is the bad news. All of us were born into sin, right?

Romans 3.23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So before you know good news, you gotta know the bad news. This means that every human, no matter how good they think they are, has missed the mark. We're spiritually dead, separated from God and under judgment from one sin. And we've all sinned. You know, Romans 6.23 says for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord. That means we deserved because of sin, death, hell. Again, not just physical death, but eternal separation from God. But here's the good news. God didn't leave us in that condition. He came down in the form of a man, Jesus Christ. Perfect, born of a virgin, lived a life we couldn't live. He fulfilled the law that we broke. Sin is transgression against God's law, his moral code. God puts it on our heart and he's even written down over 613 under the old covenant laws, specific guidelines on how we can live this life without sinning, but they couldn't amount to it. They couldn't abide by it perfectly. It was impossible. They sinned. And under the old covenant, they'd have to sacrifice animals for the atonement of their sins.

But the man God, reason he's man is because he was born of the spirit, not of sexual intercourse, but of a virgin birth, fully God, fully man, Jesus. He died a death we didn't deserve, not as a victim, but as a sacrifice. He gave himself in on the cross. He took the punishment for your sin and my sin. He carried the same shame, guilt, and judgment that we should have faced. Everything he went through was the consequences of our sin. Sinless man, a man who knew no sin became sin so that we could become in right standing, the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And when he said it's finished, he meant the debt was paid in full because when he died, he won, he beat the devil. On the cross, he disarmed every principality in power because the world, the devil, and the flesh never caused him to sin. He won, but that's not the end. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving that he's the son of God and has power over death, hell, and the grave. The only reason he has power or was given power over death, hell, and the grave is because he never sinned. In the garden with Adam and Eve, they sinned and allowed death into the world. But the Bible says in the book of Hebrews, the second Adam came and he lived a life

that nobody could live, right, which proves he's God. The fullness of God bodily, the book of Colossians says, he won, he overcame what we lost in the garden through humanity, the fallen nature of man, death, all this stuff we go through. This is never the way that God intended for us to live. And Jesus came to restore us back into relationship with God. This is the simple good news, the gospel. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. And now eternal life is available to all those who believe. Romans 10, nine says, if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has risen him from the dead, then you will be saved. This is not just about saying a prayer. This is about believing in your heart, repenting from sin and surrendering your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, which is what many people partially do. Some people will believe in their heart that God rose them from the dead, but they don't repent of their sins. Some people will repent of their sins, but then temporarily, you know, just submit to God, but they don't believe he's the Lord of their life. So eventually they go back to that same sin without any type of conviction and eventually fall away. So it's all three.

You got to believe in your heart, you got to repent, and which is an active hating. of the sin, partnering with the Spirit of God, the Word of God to renew your mind, change your mind, and surrendering your life to Jesus. And that's one of the biggest ones. A lot of people don't believe in the Lordship of Christ. They don't want Jesus to be their Lord. They want Jesus to be their Lord over 50% of their life, but the other 50, they like it too much. God wants 100%, and you cannot receive the Holy Ghost until in your heart all this happens. It's simple, it's a heart posture. God knows if your heart is postured for Him. God knows if your heart is postured for true surrender. If it is, you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. And when you believe this gospel, something supernatural happens. You're forgiven, which by the blood of Jesus, the blood of a perfect man, wipe clean of all sins, right? Blood is life, sin is death. So if sin is death, and we've sinned all these times, we need blood, but it can't be our blood, and it can't be animal blood. The sins of the world could only be canceled, the debt, if for the blood of a perfect human who lived this game of life, but never sinned. Jesus, 33 and a half years, never sinned, gave Himself in to be sacrificed, went through a death and beating and brutal mocking

that He didn't deserve. And because of that, we're forgiven by the blood when we put our faith in what He did and repent and turn to Him. We're made new, our spirit comes alive, and your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. You're gonna go to heaven. This gospel is not just for you to believe, but it's also again for you to preach. As Jesus says in Mark 16, 15, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This is why it's important to know it deeply so that you can share it boldly. So whether, again, this is your first time hearing the gospel clearly, or you've believed it for years, let it hit your heart again. Jesus did not come to start religion. He came to rescue the lost. He took your place so He could give you His, and that's the gospel. So if you wanna give your life to Christ, we're gonna do a simple prayer right now. Believe in your heart, confess from your mouth. Again, some of you might already be saved. Some of you need to get saved right now. I want you to say, Jesus, I submit myself to you as Lord. Say it's your way or the highway.

Say, I fully surrender. Say, I believe you died on the cross, and you shed your blood to overcome the sins of the world. Say, by your blood, the blood of a perfect human, fully God and fully man, say, Jesus Christ, I'm forgiven. Say, thank you for the blood. Now say, not only do I believe that you died, but I believe you were buried and rose on the third day. And say, I believe that you ascended to heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit so that we can receive power. Say, I believe in Yeshua. I believe in Jesus. Fill me with your spirit. In Jesus' name. I'm gonna pray for you, some of you. Some of you are gonna get filled with the Holy Spirit right now. Oh, Holy Spirit, I pray that you fill every person listening right now. Every person that just surrendered or came back to Jesus, just fill them with your love. Fill them with your power, your dunamis power. Baptize them in your power to be a witness to the nations. Some of you might begin to pray in tongues. Some of you might begin to prophesy or praise God.

Some of you might just have your hands up, getting deliverance, getting healing. I'm just gonna pray. Holy Spirit, I pray that you wreck them right now with your love, that you touch them with your presence, your tangible love and joy, and your peace, Lord. Right now, in every demon leave, healing to the body, I declare it and decree it in the name of Jesus. Sheh-ba-le-ko, sheh-le-man-to-ra-ba-le-sheh. Some of you might begin to pray in your heavenly language. Open up your mouth and pray, and praise the King. Sheh-ka-la-ba-re-bo-sheh.
