He knows what tomorrow holds. He knows what the next year holds And I pray Lord right now that we receive the words Those worship songs Lord that you never failed us Lord. It might look like right now Where people are going through that you're failing them And I'd pray Holy Spirit. I need you to do a work there Bring them back to the time where you didn't fail them Remind them of that remind them that you will get them through this And if they've never received you as your Lord and Savior let today be the day Let today be the day that they receive the Holy Spirit to help them get through it Lord I just surrender this stage to surrender my vocal cords. I surrender this whole day to you Lord it serves anyways So I pray Lord speak through me Let's light this up and I pray for the sheep Lord Jesus for all of us to receive What you have for all of us today and Jesus mighty name. Man, I love those guys It's not easy to get in there in case you didn't know we have a prison campus And they don't just get to decide to come They have to fill out paperwork. They have to get approved then they have to hope that they get called So the fact that they get in there it's a big deal so pray for those guys They you know, all of us need prayer to pray for those. Yes Obviously we got Pensacola in the house. How you guys doing? Whoo Solid crowd solid crowd. Hey, so two more things we have when I was preparing for this message The Holy Spirit was just like hey, I want you to make sure the middle schools in here I'm like, yes Lord. I need help with that. So y'all are somewhere in here. So I appreciate I'm telling you right now It's gonna be a big thing. There's multiple times. I'm gonna speak to you Let me back up the Lord's gonna speak to you because he wanted you in here and last but not least our pastor our Pastor Tim, so obviously I'm not pastor Tim. Let's just Obviously, but but I want to do a shout out to him for multiple reasons First of all, he's coming to the very end of his sabbatical. So what is a sabbatical? That's a big word in church Word, here it is. It's intentional rest That's it it's an intentional rest so he has been he's been intentional with resting so that he can hear from the Holy Spirit so that he can Take this church to where it needs to be so pray for pray for your pastor. Yes Yeah Pray that he finished strong. He'll be here next week. So he's gonna be ready. I'm just letting y'all know He's gonna be ready. I'm ready. I'm ready to receive Even know how powerful this whole month has been with all these speakers. I mean, they've been excellent. Let's go But there's just something about when you're when your own pastor gets up here and Gives the Word of God so speaking of pastor Tim, he called me the other day and He's like hey cuz so pastor Tim normally how this works. He'll reach out He normally has a parameter what he wants you to speak on or he'll ask like this. He'll say hey Has God given you anything? Are you thinking about anything? And I say well actually yeah

I said, uh, God's been working on me in an area for like this whole year this whole year He's been showing me something. I really think and I told him what it was I said, I really think it's gonna be a timely message in between So we've been in roots if you're first time or if you've been here a while We've been in a series called roots and right now we're in honor his house and in a couple of weeks I don't know when it might be next week. I don't know but in a couple of weeks we're gonna be Talking about filled with the Holy Spirit And Actually, I want to preach on that. But hey, it's all good. Could I love I'm all about that. I mean, let's go but uh, I Love how God works. He's like Brian. I've been showing you something so that you can share this before they learn that I'm like, yes Lord, you know, so I shared that with pastor Tim and I love I just want to brag on him for a Second and I'm not shaming other churches. That's not what this is This is a heart of gratitude because every church is different and we got to be not so quick to judge everybody And hate on what they're doing, you know, I'm saying so this is our church And one thing I love about this church is pastor Tim tries his best to be led by the Spirit And he could have easily been like well, hey, these are my primers. Let's you know Stay in there and he really was like man. I love that So man go share that so it's a big deal it's a big deal, um, so I'm gonna jump into the message I hope y'all are ready. And uh, here we go. So first off. Um, how did this message come about? You know when I was 12 years old, I Was going through a really rough time in my life My family life and I'm not gonna get into all the details at home it was rough found out some news around that time Um go to school and it was not fun well fun at all got made fun of it was just a horrible time in my life around that time in my life and And all I kept hearing my mom tried to take me to counseling. She did her best. I didn't open up to the counselor I'm not doing that. I say really quick. I'm gonna be doing a lot of confession today So just hang in there right cuz good for your soul, so I'm just gonna confess it all let's go so so I'm sitting there I'm like no, I'm just not doing that. I'm not opening up to them. They don't know me I'm not telling them my stuff man, you know, so I'm sitting there and uh

But what happened around this time through all the pain everything I was going through I didn't believe I could talk to anybody So because I was a Christian at a young age because I did receive that I started really learning how to dial in and really hear from the Holy Spirit and that started my journey of really like just all the beautiful things that come with the Holy Spirit when you get on that journey and Now you fast-forward, you know, that's 12 I'm sitting at almost 30 years right now of a journey and a relationship with Jesus and that's the difference between religion and Jesus it's a relationship So I've been on this relationship beautiful ride for 30 years, right so This year God's like the Holy Spirit. Hey, man Just want to let you know something. So I'm proud of you in some areas But can I show you something? I'm like At first when I kind of heard that I'm thinking he's gonna show me something like amazing Like as far as like I don't say positive that sounds a little rough, but I thought it'd be positive You know, and I'm like, yeah, absolutely. He's okay. Well, let me let me show you something So this is where we're gonna pick up if you have your Bible you version out We're gonna go to a couple of scriptures and we're going to get in the word. I'm so excited about this We're gonna first go to 1st Corinthians 13 1 through 8 and here we go. That's on if I speak all the languages of the earth And of angels But didn't love others. I Would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal if I had the gift of prophecy and If I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge And if I had such faith that Could move mountains, but didn't love others. I Would have nothing I would be nothing

If I gave everything I had to the poor and even sacrificed my body Good boast about it. But if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing Love is patient and it's kind Love is not jealous or boastful proud rude It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable. It keeps no record of being wrong. It does not rejoice about injustice, but rejoices when the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith. It's always hopeful and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking an unknown language and special knowledge will become useless. Woo, right, it's hittin'. But love will last forever. We're gonna go down to same chapter, go down to 13. These three themes will last forever. Faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these, the greatest of these is love. Next verse, we're gonna go to Matthew 22, 37 through 40. So Jesus replied, I love it, right, here we go. Jesus replied, you must love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important. Love your neighbor as yourself. The third is to love your neighbor as yourself. And the last is to love your neighbor as yourself.

So the entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments. Last, John 14 through 15. If you love me, obey my commandments. Obey my commandments. This is just what God's been showing me, what spiritual maturity looks like. It's not like this is the definition. I just wanna throw that out there. This is God's been showing me this, so don't come back and go, that's not the definition. Hey man, this is what God's showing me. That's where we're at. So there's that. And then second of all, I wanna make it very clear, because I'm gonna bring you into how me and Jesus and the Holy Spirit talk, how I work through things. And that's my goal today. But I wanna make sure we're on the same page. And what I mean by that, is when I'm talking to the Holy Spirit, at no time do I feel shame, condemnation. I don't. I feel holy conviction. Now you're like, well, what the crap is that? Everybody always says that. You know, if it's the evil one, it's shame. The Holy Spirit's holy conviction. Can you just break it down?

Yes, I got it for you. Here it is. You ready for it? So I'm gonna try to go in the physical, but what I want you to try to do is, if you get these thoughts in your mind, we wanna identify it. So number one, let's go to shame. What does shame look like? It's really simple. So say you just got done doing an event, playing a sport, whatever, working at a job, I don't care, anything, anything that you do. And then let's say a person comes up to you and they're like, hey, I just wanna let you know, hey, just let me know this. You gotta get better here. You didn't do that really well. And you're not good at that. Now I'm not gonna tell you how to fix it. And actually, I don't even wanna tell you how to fix it. I just wanna let you know, your garbage there. Peace. So that's what shame looks like. That's what the evil one does. That's what he will do. He'll drop some crap on you, and then he'll leave you and make you feel like crap. So when I'm talking, that's not what Jesus is doing when we're talking.

I might not be communicating that. It might sound like he's dropping, but that's not how it's working. Here's how it's working. Holy conviction. Some other friend comes up to you and says, hey man, you're doing pretty good there. You're doing all right there. You're doing good here. We need to work right there. We need to get a little better there. But guess what? I'm gonna give you some tools. I'm gonna give you some resources if you want it. Now, you gotta want it. I mean, I can't do it for you. I'm not gonna do it for you. But I have the tools to give you. I have some resources. Hey, and even better than that, I'm gonna be with it through you. We're doing this together. Like, we're doing this together. That's what holy conviction is. That's what the Holy Spirit does. So as I'm fixing to kind of walk you through how we talk and how God's been showing me this year, that's how he's coming at me. Now, sometimes he's gonna tell you something and it stings.

It ain't fun. I'm just being real. It's like, you're about. You're here in a minute. I'm like what so it's not fun, but You've got to try your best in that moment To realize he's got his best interest for you. He's trying to grow you Why is he trying to grow you because it's our job to reflect Jesus It's our job. Some people are not gonna pick up a Bible. Some people aren't gonna come through those doors. You can invite them We're hoping they come and bite them, but they might not walk through those doors, but they're gonna watch you And they're gonna see how you roll and they're gonna get curious off of what you're doing That's the point. That's why he gives you these things. He's like we're gonna get a little better here a little better here. So Remember spiritual maturity, so he's just been really like hey, we're getting a little better. So I'm gonna show you how it went So I'm sitting there Beginning of the year and working through some things and I just felt a little nudge The Lord's like hey, I want to show you something these verses and then he's like, I just want to just show you stuff I'm really proud of you I'm really proud of you for getting out of your comfort zone and relying on the Spirit. I'm proud of you for like sometimes People will call on you and you have to go in there and you let the Lord use you in that moment to cast out Demons doesn't happen all the time, but I've seen that I'm proud of you for letting me tell you to go to a hospital That a man had cancer in his bones that he was supposed to die in seven days and you did exactly what I told you to Do and because you did that I healed that man and he's been alive for ten years I'm proud of you For facing your fears for being open-minded Sometimes when I'm trying to show you what speaking in tongues looks like you don't shy away from that I'm proud of you. You're vertical. You're doing a great job Your relationship with me is I mean you can always get better I'm not saying I've arrived because I have my right but the vertical is pretty good You're horizontal Ain't as good as you think

And I'm like so what it's horizontal good question that's people How you doing loving people Brian And I didn't want to hear that It's and I didn't you know, I did I came back kind of strong I said man I'm loving people good Like I feel like I'm patient with people. I feel like I'm really tolerating people. I'm loving people. I'm I feel like I'm doing good here Really? Like I'm like I'm doing good Lord. Like I mean, I'm don't understand what you mean by that I'm loving people and the Lord if you're if you're willing to receive Right, so the Holy Spirit is not gonna push stuff on you But he'll show stuff but it's up to you to receive it So if he's telling you you might be struggling here It ain't easy I'm telling you I fought I've been in this for a year guys almost nine ten months Like I'm walking through this and I'm still walking through it. It's not easy to hear It's not But he's like man, you gotta get better in this area like you've really got to get better in this area and so at that point I'm slowly easing into okay, Lord Whatever here we go. So then what is love? I need to identify if I'm not loving people Then what is love? Well loving what I think love is Love isn't what you think love is as far as in a minute So it's not what the world says everybody has their own definition of what love is Definition of what love is But here's reality. Love is what God says love is Whether we like it or not Whether we like it or not. So in my mind, okay, I need to figure out what love is So let me go back to the Word of God and let's read and let's figure out what love is so I'm gonna go back to um First Corinthians, so we're gonna pick up and I'm gonna kind of skip through it. But here it is. So what is love? Love is patient and

kind Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude It is not demand its own way It's not irritable Yeah, it keeps no record of being wrong it does not rejoice about injustice But rejoices when the truth wins out lover never gives up Never loses faith is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance So as I as God tells me and as I go back to this You know when you've been a Christian for a hot minute, I'm just gonna say that When the Lord gives you something sometimes you'll go back to the verse and you just want to fly through it Oh, I know this first Lord. I'm good. Yeah, I know this first. Absolutely Here it is, it's all this, I'm good. And the Lord's like, hey man, you're gonna slow down for a second? I know you know it, but are you doing it? Are you doing it? I mean, cause if you just read this a little slower, I can show you some areas. I'm trying to help you here. I'm like, dang, like I said, say, listen, some, it ain't, it's not shame. And like I said, I might not be relaying it, like I'm coming off like he's shaming me. He ain't shaming me. He's not. He's just trying to help me. He's trying to help me. So I'm like, so eventually at this point in my walk, I'm thinking, okay, you know what? I'm here for it.

I'm here for it. So if you're saying that's what love is, and that's what it is, then at this point, for all you note takers out here, here's your moment. So I'm gonna give you a couple of practical things, how when the Holy Spirit speaks to me, here's things that I do. Now, before I give this to you, it's very important, very, very important that you realize this is me. I don't want you to get overwhelmed cause sometimes I go to extremes. I'm just calm on foul. I asked you who I am. I'm gonna go wide open all the time, but you don't have to be wide open. If God just shows you one thing, then do one thing. Don't let what I'm fishing to show you intimidate you. It's just to show you something. So number one, number one, you gotta identify where you need to grow. Number one, you got to identify where you need to grow. So as I'm reading that, the Lord's like, okay, can I show you some areas that you need to grow? And this is what God showed me, these three areas right here. So number one, patience, irritable, and no record of being wrong. Nobody wants to hear that. You know, like, dang Lord, I hear you. And as I'm sitting there thinking about this and I'm looking at those three things,

I'm like, okay, well, I need to figure out what tends to trigger that. What tends to trigger that? Well, I know exactly what triggers it. Confrontation, confrontation, having tough conversations. I don't like it. I hate it. Can't we all get along? Can't we all just have a meaningful conversation and you see my side and I see your side and it's a bed of little roses and we just go about our little way. Can't it just be like that? That's what I want. That's what I desire. You know, I'm just being real. And that's what I told the Lord. And I love, he's like, well, that's not reality, son. That's why you gotta grow. Dang it. You know, because you're living a vicious cycle where you're sitting there and because you don't want to have the tough conversation and because you're not willing to have that, you all of a sudden get irritable at the person. You start to get mad at them because they're not living up to your expectations. And then you won't go have the courage to say it to the person. So then you're just in this cycle.

Okay, Lord, please forgive me. I talk bad about that person again. I need you. Okay, awesome. And then eventually the Lord's like, hey, buddy, this is gonna be a vicious cycle until you learn. You gotta learn, man. Yeah, I'm gonna forgive you, but man, grow up. Like, dude, we gotta get better in this area. Gotta get better. So that's the first thing, number one. Number two, okay, we've identified it. Praise God. Number two, what can we do to get better? Now this one, oh, I love it. So this one is not easy. It's not easy. Crap, all of them aren't easy. But this one's not easy. What do I mean by it's not easy? You're gonna have to have a sacrifice, man. Who in here grows when it's easy? Nobody, man. If it's easy, you ain't growing. You can think you're growing. You can, oh, I'm doing good. Everything's easy. It's just amazing. You ain't growing, dude, newsflash.

That's what Satan's telling you, you're growing. You ain't growing. You ain't growing, dude. You ain't growing. Freak, tough times grow you. Sacrifice, you've gotta do things that sometimes you don't wanna do. So like I said, holy conviction, the Holy Spirit said, hey, man, here's some things you can do to grow. And nobody wants to hear that. I'm like, dang, Lord, I don't like to read. Please, I'm not a reader. Can you give me something different? Like I told my wife earlier before I came out here, I said, babe, please pray for me. I have to. read a bunch today. And I don't like to do that. I just don't. I don't like to read. I've embraced it now. I've embraced it. It's taken me 10 years to embrace the darn thing, but I don't like to read. I don't like it. I can sit here and then, yes, Lord, there you go. I love it. So you can sit there and give them a ton of excuse. This is my excuse list. You ready for the reading? I have SLD, singular learning disability. So I don't know how to read, Lord. I like, it's legit. It's legit. I have a learning disability that you put and so you can't tell me to read because you created me with this learning disability. So how are you going to tell me to read now? It don't work that way because the Lord, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. So yeah, so all I'm trying to say is whatever God gives you, it might not be a book, man, but whatever he gives you is probably not going to be fun. I'm just helping you here, but it's worth it. It's worth it, man. We got to grow. We have to grow. We have to reflect. We have to shine and you ain't going to shine. You ain't going to grow and you're not going to let the Lord shine through you if you're not willing to do what he says.

So this is, so once again, these next two slides do not let them scare you. I'm just wide open. It can be one thing. So next thing. So these are the three things that God laid on my heart as far as what can I do to get better. Number one, dealing with difficult people. That's a book. Focus on the family. That's a podcast. Beta Satan. So once again, the first group did not get this, but y'all are. This book is not big. So if God leads you or he gives you a book, don't feel, you don't have baby steps, man. Like you ain't going to go get the book that big. How many pages, Lord? I ain't even look at that. This is 46 pages. But this is 46 pages of powerful things that are going to help you be able to deal with difficult people. You know what I'm saying? So don't, you don't have to like take on Mount Everest right out of the gate, you know, but, but then the Lord, here's another thing. I got that book 10 years ago, guys. I read that book 10 years ago when I was at another job and I was going through it this year. Like I said, it's been a process, man. This has been a process this year, man. Gosh. And he's like, Hey, go back to that book. I'm like, all right, I'll go grab the book. I had to find it. I barely found it. He let me find it. But all I'm trying to say is don't, you don't have to do three things, man. Beta Satan was powerful for me. It really helped me through and it's still helping me. I mean, I hadn't arrived, but Beta Satan really helped me with just really forgiving people. You got to forgive people, man. You have to, you have to try and that teaches you how to recognize the schemes, focus on the family. Obviously. I mean, I love my family. They're supporting me, but who has family issues, man? You can raise your hand. Okay. Yes. It's, it's not the easiest, right? So I want to learn how to grow. I want to learn how to communicate. I want to learn how to deal with people. Love it. Love people. Okay. And then the last one is plan and create a habit. Now here's where this is. Whoop-dee-doo. If you do the first two and don't do this one, who cares? Seriously, if you don't do this one, it doesn't matter. So wow, I identified it. Praise God. He's given me what I need. Praise God. What are you doing with it? What are you doing with it? You got to do something with it. You can't just know it and see, and then that's it. Let me tell you what Satan's going to do. He don't want you to do something with it. So he's going to pack all your schedule. So you got no time to grow. You got no time to learn. You got no time to get better. And that's what he's going to do. So seriously, my last time I share this in the first gathering,

because when this slide comes up, I think someone might've fell out of their chair. Because they're like, well, that's a lot. Once again, this is just me guys. You don't have to go to this extreme. But earlier in the year when I did a 40 day fast, you know, I created this habit during this fast and I liked the habit. I was like, that's pretty darn good Lord. So he's like, well, you don't have to stop. If I gave you that, you can just keep going with it. I'm like, all right, awesome. So here's the habit that I created. So here it is. So Monday I listened to a online message, whatever that is. I got multiple passion. I listen to. Tuesday, I do a book or a podcast on leadership, so that's where I do my dealing with difficult people. Now, really quick with this. I went to a retreat this year, not a retreat or a conference, and they said something that was like, wow, that's really good. And they said, just because you read a book and then you move on, you're okay to read the book more than once. It's actually better if you read the book four, five, six, seven times. So I made a point, this is not big. So my goal, because I struggled with this, my goal, I'm gonna read it, and I'm gonna read it again, and I'm gonna read it again, and I'm gonna read it again, and I'm gonna read it again. I'm gonna just keep reading it, because this is important.

I struggle here. So I just wanna encourage you, you don't have to always just pound a bunch of books, read a thousand books, and you forget what you read on one of the books. If you find a book that's really important, you can stay there. Wednesday, spiritual book slash work on the message. That is beta Satan, that's normally, and I got different books, that's normally where that comes in. Thursday, a book on podcasts, marriage, focus on the family. Friday, health workout, YouTube. So I kind of follow some YouTubes, try to keep my vessel in good shape for Jesus. But once again, I know that might look overwhelming. Be you, man. When God speaks to you, whatever, if it's one day, if it's a, hey man, you can put it on this day, at this time, just do it. Just do it. It's worth it, man. It's worth it. We got to grow, we have to love people. Spiritual maturity, you know, that was the title of the message. And the title of the message is basically, like I said, it's my, I'm not saying it's my definition, or it's what God's been showing me.

You can do all these things through the Holy Spirit, and it's gonna be a beautiful ride. It is. It's breathtaking. But if all you're doing is vertical stuff, you're missing it, man. God, Jesus died for people. People. People. So in my own definition, what I'm learning is, spiritual maturity is not just your vertical on point, your horizontal needs to be just as good, if not better, to be honest with you. And you're not gonna be able to love people without the Holy Spirit. You can think you can, you can try. Trust me, we're all messed up people, man. We get on each other's nerves. You need Jesus. You need the Holy Spirit to help you. And I'm not saying you're weak. I'm not saying that, I'm not telling you to be weak. And what I'm telling you to do is as you learn and you're talking to somebody, and if the Holy Spirit says, hey, I need you to give them a little truth right here in love, you ready? We're ready. Or the Holy Spirit might say, hey, they ain't ready yet. Hang on, chill out.

Love them where they're at. And then we'll circle back around, build that relationship, and then we'll go. So it's not about being weak and meek and people running you over. Right. It's about you doing it the way that God wants you to do it so that at the end of the day, you want them to receive Jesus. And I'm gonna end with this, and then we'll, I really just wanna speak to the middle school really quick. So I know, I appreciate y'all being in here. I see a couple of y'all. Now, if y'all missed everything, here's all I care about in this moment, really quick. So if you're like, man, I didn't really get all that, well, here's what I want you to get. I wish somebody, I wish somebody would've went back to my 12-year-old self and would've told me this. Hey, Brian, I want you to pray a certain prayer every day. And the prayer is this, Holy Spirit, help me love people. I wish I would've prayed that every day. And was it a, it's a beautiful ride. Did I get a lot out of leaning on the Holy Spirit? Yes, but there's a lot of pain there that I'm still in my 40s working through just because I didn't pray that daily. I think if you can get ahead of it at your age,

it will help you. So simple, Holy Spirit, help me love people. Holy Spirit, help me love people. When you're getting made fun of at school or you don't understand what's going on in your family and you don't have no one to talk to, Holy Spirit, help me love people. Now, obviously I want to speak to all of us now. You're not 12. Spoiler alert But you're never too old either You know, the Lord just laid this on my heart this year. So it's taking me a hot minute, you know 41 years old It's not getting that way. It's better late than never and what it is is holy the same thing to you Same thing to you guys wake up every morning because that's what you need to focus on the most Holy Spirit help me love people Help me see people the way you see them Help me have patience the way you have patience with them Help me have courage to tell them truth when I'm supposed to Help me be able to to like get out of my comfort zone and say this is a tough conversation Let me use the spirit to help me talk to this person because I love this person. I don't want bitterness towards this person Help me love people And like I said, this is this is it's a journey man It's a journey, but I just feel like this was timely because as we learn about the Holy Spirit Let's not forget the main thing and it's people there's people all right, so now I'm gonna talk to a Different group really quick as we wrap this up if your friends invited you and you're like, what is all of this? Like I mean, what's the Holy Spirit? What's Jesus? What is all of that? Really quick. I just want to just have the tough conversation with you Why do I say it's tough because I'm fixing to give you a little bit of bad news at first

It's the gospel and it's good news But in the beginning of it, it don't sound like a bunch of good news It just don't and what do you mean by that? Well, what I mean by that is we've all have fall short of God's glory We've all sinned. We've all messed up. We're no good. I know that sounds horrible. Hey just truth But I'm about to give you some grace and some good news We're not good. We're not good individuals You know that you fall you know that you mess up because of that you are separated from God But because God loves you whether you believe it or not. He does you're here today Because he loves you and he's drawing himself to you Because he loves you. He sends his son to die on a cross live a perfect life Raised back three days later to be your Sacrifice for your sins there has to be a sacrifice There has to be a sacrifice There has to be because if there's not a sacrifice, he's not a just God So he's a loving God, but he is a just God and he loves you but there's got to be justice and The justice is I'm a sacrifice my son and he's gonna take that but you got to receive it So back to what we learned let's just roll this in identify You got to identify where you're at If you never given your life to Christ if you never received him as your Lord and Savior If you're if you're counting on your good works to get you to heaven instead of a relationship with Jesus That's who I'm talking to. That's you There's react, okay. Well, how do I get better Jesus? Jesus he's the only way there is no other way He's the way well, what's the plan? The plan is now you got to believe that and receive it There it is So I want to encourage you We're all gonna bow our heads and we're gonna close our eyes and we're gonna pray but you're not praying through me

You're praying straight to Jesus and if this is you and you're like, man, that's I'm in that category And I really want to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior So that just a little cool note is when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior That's when he gives you the Holy Spirit You need the Holy Spirit in this world man. You ain't gonna be able to love people at a high level without that But you don't get the Holy Spirit until you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior Plain and simple So if you're like man, I need that man. I want that then I'm gonna ask like I said, we're gonna pray a prayer Everyone pray together And then I'm gonna ask that at the very end that you have a little bit of courage and raise your hand because it's a big Deal to us. So everybody bow their heads Repeat after me say Jesus I believe that you died on the cross For my sins, and I believe that God raised you from the dead Three days later for my sins I Receive this gift Come into my life Teach me how to live be my Lord and Savior and Jesus name Amen, amen You If this was your first time ever doing that, we're happy, man, we're super pumped, we're excited. You just received the Holy Spirit as your Lord and Savior. You might be like, I don't feel anything different. It don't work that way. Just letting you know. You're not gonna feel like, boom, right? So it's a process.

So, but we wanna celebrate that. We wanna celebrate it, it's a big deal. It's a big deal. So I'm gonna ask, I'm counting to three, I'm gonna ask you to have a couple seconds of courage. We wanna resource you too. So in other words, when you raise your hand, once again, we want to give you tools. We don't want you to just raise your hand and us celebrate not equipped you. We have volunteers here that have bags that want to give you resources to grow. It's a journey. So you want these resources. Trust me, there's some good resources.
