Manasseh was the worst king Judah ever had. He put an idol in God’s temple, practiced sorcery, and filled Jerusalem with innocent blood. Then an enemy army hauled him off to Babylon in chains. In a foreign prison, with nothing left, he humbled himself and prayed, and God heard him. He spent the rest of his life repairing what he had broken. Not everything got fixed, but he never went back. If God heard a prayer like that, no prayer is out of range. (2 Chronicles 33)
