YOUR harvest of RELATIONSHIP | Pastor Terrence Mullings
There are friendships that God wants you to have, that if you don't know how to discern the times and seasons, that you'll always stay a season behind what God has for you. If you do not know your season, you will miss your harvest. You know, when I was a young boy, my parents taught me this one scripture and made me memorize it. Well, many scriptures. One of them was Psalm 100. Psalm 100 goes like this. It says, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord, he is God. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. And then it gets to this part where it says in verse four, you see how I still remember it? All right, parents, teach your children the word of God, because his word will make a way. And God says he watches over his word to make sure it accomplishes the purpose for which he sends it. And his word will never return to him void. And there is something, I believe the difference in my life has been the fact that I've walked on the word. And you can too. And it says enter into his gates with. Do you know thanksgiving is what will get us close to God? We did that last week. Thank you God for this year. Thank you for what you've done. Thank you for last year taking me through. We had these harvest cards where we wrote down things that we were believing for. But thanksgiving will get you close. But who knows there is another way, is a protocol into his presence. And it's called praise. Because we know when the praise goes up, God shows up. We actually get to enter into his presence. The Bible says enter into his gates with thanksgiving. But if you want to get into his courts, if you want to get into the holy of holies, there has to be this atmosphere of praise. There has to be an atmosphere of reverence for our great God. Because praise will bring you before his presence. And last week we announced the word for the year that 2026 has to be 2020. 2020 fix your eyes on Jesus who is the Lord of the harvest. So you might wonder what sort of year this is going to be. Every time you look at your clock and someone asks you what time is it? We say it's harvest time baby. It is harvest time. Do you know that word is a prophetic declaration. So we are speaking something into the atmosphere the same way God spoke and said let there be light. And darkness turned into light. And there is something that happens when we co-create like God. When we step into the authority and we step into the victory that Jesus has already won for us, things change. You know God gave me specifically five harvests that you can expect in 2020 fixing your eyes on Jesus. Now these are not just limited to five harvests but I want to give you five specifically that word. Five harvests that you can expect in 2020 fix. Someone say it's harvest time. Let me set it up like this and or set up the message and the series. In John 4 35
Jesus is speaking and he said do not say there are still four months and then I'm going to step into harvest time. God says no no I've given you victory and I've given you authority to call those things that are not as though they are. So he says don't say there's still four months then the harvest he says behold. Someone say behold. Come on do it with the actions. Behold. You got to take hold of this thing. Lift up your eyes. Someone say lift. Someone say look. You got to lift your eyes. You got to look to heaven the Lord of the harvest because he said the fields are ripe for harvest. They are ready. You got to look up and see what God is saying. See what he's saying about your circumstance. See what he's saying about your marriage. Seeing what he's saying about your children. See what God is saying about your future because if we don't look we won't see. If we don't listen we won't be able to step into our harvest and I do believe there is an epidemic of loneliness. There is an epidemic of people feeling isolated, feeling rejected and feeling disconnected both from God and from his people. Let me outline these five harvests and I'm going to break one of them down here today. Psalm 23. Psalm 23 says this the Lord is my shepherd. Someone say my shepherd. I'm not sure if you guys know that screen's not working but um otherwise I'll just keep preaching all day if it doesn't start. Praise the Lord. I'm excited to preach with you over the next three hours. Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd. You know there is a harvest that God has for us for relationship. It says I shall not want. That means you will not be in lack this year. There is riches. There are riches available for you. He makes me lie down in green pastures. That speaks of rest. Someone say rest. He leads me. besides still water someone say refreshing then it goes on to say he restores my soul god wants to restore your soul he wants to um lead me in the path of righteousness someone say righteousness and he does this not for my namesake but for his namesake there is a reward and last week we also pointed out that there's not just rest righteousness refreshing riches restoration but in fact god says yea though i walk through someone say walk through there is a refuge and protection for you as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death because here's the thing every time god gives you a prophetic promise harvest time there is always a persistent problem that stands in the way david you're going to be king but there's this big looming problem called goliath you are moses you're going to set my people free but there's a problem called pharaoh there's a problem called the red sea someone say the red sea what does red mean stop it means you you can't go past here and so while we walk through the
valley of the shadow of death we need to know there is a refuge in jesus christ and um in order to walk into what god has for you you've got to walk past the haters who hang in the hallway into your harvest there are naysayers nehemiah you're trying to build a wall for god man even if the fox was to jump on that wall that you're trying to rebuild the temple of god a fox would knock that thing down there are haters abraham and sarah you want to have a baby at 99 you are too old and the enemy sits here and the trash talker trash talks in your ear and tries to tell you who you are not but we got to get in the house of god and i commend you at the start of the year for putting god first and you get in his house and you start to hear what god says about your life and he says you are more than an overcomer in jesus name greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world harvest here the harvest summarized there's a harvest of righteousness hebrews 12 one says there's no discipline that seems pleasant at the time but it does produce a harvest of righteousness harvest of relationships number two how good and pleasant it is when my people dwell together in unity there is pleasure and there is goodness in relationship there's riches we're going to talk about that one week talk about the harvest of riches there's a harvest of rest that god wants you to enter into his rest jesus in fact said come to me all you who are weary you're heavy laden i know you walked out of 2025 so exhausted feeling so down and feeling so depressed if you will look to the lord of the harvest i will lead you beside still waters and i will lead you to green pastures and we're going to talk about that over this series and the fifth one is there's another r that we're going to talk about but we'll get to that later today i want to speak to you from this thought harvest of relationship a harvest of relations someone say my harvest not just yours it's my harvest of relationships and here's the big idea god has a harvest of relationships for you and i it's called friends and there's a relationship that god has for you that you have not received yet he wants to lead you into that place but in order to step into what god has for you you need to learn to look and look and you may not understand what that means but we just went on vacation and we went over the christmas break we went to colorado and while we're in colorado we were driving from the airport to the airbnb place that we're staying at it was about an hour and a half drive and as we were driving i realized that all my kids uh were doing the same thing that i was doing trying to text and trying to connect with people i said everybody give me your devices devices down and so i got the ipads and got the phones and um we didn't have androids of course because we're real christians
and um so you can get saved you can get saved if you go on today is your day and so we took all the devices and i said put them at the front give them to mom so mom was holding on to all the devices and we were talking about what god said in that last service talking about dreams and visions for the year and i noticed my daughter hosanna um she was looking at me but she but she had these things in her ears called earpods that cheeky little girl i mean everyone had put their devices down but she had something in her ears and when i asked her a question she couldn't answer because she was looking but she wasn't listening can i encourage you today if you don't learn how to look and if you don't know how to listen then you will forfeit the harvest that god has for you and god has a harvest of relationship god has a harvest of riches but we We've got to step out of the chaos, and we've got to step into this thing called community. We've got to step out of this thing called loneliness, and we've got to step into this thing called relationship. And I believe that your ability to look and your ability to listen to God will be the difference between you stepping into your harvest or staying in this dry season. I call it ARID, A-R-I-D, ARID ground. A stands for you feel alone. There's loneliness. R, you feel rejection. Come on, anyone who felt rejected and felt like, hey, why didn't they invite me? Why don't they follow me? You feel alone. You feel rejected. There's isolation and there's disconnection from where you want to be. And if you don't know how to look and listen, you will not move from there into your harvest. And so I guess the big question today is, well, how do I look and how do I listen? And that's what we're going into today. Today really is more of a prophetic message. I don't necessarily have points A, B, C, but I hope you will get the point that in order to step into harvest time, you need to look and Proverbs 10 says this, Proverbs
10 says this, a wise youth or the youth that are wise make some noise. Come on, you can, by faith, say you are youth, make some noise. There it is. A wise youth harvest in the summer, but one who sleeps during harvest is a, it's a disgrace. You know, here's the reason why many of us don't step into our harvest because you put off for tomorrow what God wanted you to have today. And the reason why you do it is because you listen to the trash talk of the trash talker and you believe you can't get married yet because I don't have enough money. But love is patient. Love is kind. Love will make a way. You will never give up. You won't have kids because you put off for tomorrow what God wants you to have today. There are friendships that God wants you to have that if you don't know how to discern the times and seasons that you will always stay a season behind what God has for you. If you do not know your season, you will miss your harvest. And I pray that eyes would be open today to see what God has for you. Let me define harvest for you. Define harvest. I've write this down. It's going to come up. Harvest is your answer to prayer. You've prayed some prayers. You've prayed for breakthrough. You prayed. You will pray over these 21 days and your harvest time is when you get those answers to those prayers. Harvest is your reward for seed sown. You can't reap a harvest if you don't sow a seed. You know, last week I actually forgot to receive our tithes and offerings.
And what a disgrace that I would stop people from having the ability to sow seed because if you don't sow seed, you'll never reap a harvest. Number three, your harvest is your fulfillment of promises. God has given you promises. I remember during my 40 day fast in October and November of 2014, I sought the Lord and God gave me some very dear and precious promises. 2014, what is the date today? What year is it? 2026. How many years from 2014 to 2026? 12 years. What does 12 represent in the Bible? It's a number of government. And can I tell you, the government is upon his shoulders and the promises that he has spoken over my life, not just for me, but for our church, I am declaring prophetically that this is the year where we reap the harvest on the promises of God. I'm going to give you houses you didn't build, vineyards you didn't plant, relationships that you have been believing for, vineyards speak of joy. There are harvest in the Bible, there is grain harvest, there's the grape harvest that speaks of joy. And I'm telling you, God is about to deliver on the promises that he has given to you. If you will speak and receive that harvest, and you might ask the question, how far is your harvest? I spoke to you last week and I said, for those who missed it, that your harvest is about this far away. It's taking two L's and placing them together, making Jesus the Lord of Lords. And the harvest is this far. It's as far as your ear is from your mouth, your ear, because if God can speak it into your ears and get it out your mouth, and you can start to call those things in agreement with what God has said, call those things that are not as though they are, you will
receive your harvest. How far is your harvest? How far? This far. Come on, hold your hands up. How far is your harvest? This far. When you make Jesus Lord of Lords, he will take those losses and turn them into a win. Come on. The Lord of Lords. In fact, your harvest is probably a little bit further than this, because the Bible does tell us that it's not just about getting from our ear to our mouth, because the Bible says out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So God's going to get it from our ears to our heart. it's a little bit longer. But once you make Jesus Lord of Lords, I want to tell you it truly is closer than you think. It's closer than you think. The fourth part of the harvest is when heaven touches earth. This is why we pray your kingdom come, your will be done on as it is in, on as it is. You know, we are earth. God made us from the earth and God wants his will to be done not just on earth but in earth, in your life. He wants it in your marriage, he wants it in your relationship, he wants it in your mental health. And this is, I said it last week, the greatest will on earth is actually not the will of God. The greatest will is not the will of God, it's the will of man. Because in the first garden, Adam and Eve, God gave them free will and free choice and they took their will and submitted it to the snake. This is why we have a fallen world. It's God's will that none should perish but who knows people are perishing. That's because we have a will that God has given us victory and authority here on earth to choose life or death. We just got to make sure that we submit our will to his will. So in one garden they messed it up but who knows in the second garden, the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, he came down from heaven to earth and he showed us by illustration. Here is how you submit your will to God's will because he asked take this cup away from me but then he said not my will but yours be done. Come on, if you're grateful for the will of God happening in your life, would you make
some noise in this place? We clap our hands in agreement to say God, your kingdom come and your will be done in my life. I tell you your harvest is this far away and I'm belaboring this point for a reason because it's got to get from your ears to your mouth. It's actually got to get from your ears to your heart because if the devil can keep you depressed, what's the first thing you don't want to do? You don't want to sing, you don't want to talk, you want to get isolated and if the devil can keep you shut up, he will get you shut down. He shuts you down so he can shut you up because he knows the victory is in your voice. He knows once you start speaking heaven and earth stand attention to watch over your words because when you speak God's word, do you know it has the same authority as if Jesus himself was speaking it? Let me try this side. Do you know that when you speak God's word, it has the same authority as if Jesus himself was speaking it? Yeah, you know why? Because it's God's word and God says my word will not return to me void. Let me teach you something about God timing. God timing. Someone say look, someone say listen. Genesis 1 14 says this a God said let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the shouted out the day from the and let them serve as signs to mark sacred time and days and now look up you understand days and you understand years because 24 hours makes a day 365 days makes a year you understand days and times and my question is watch this do you understand sacred times there are sacred times this is God's time it's all God's time you know I outlined and I want to say it again there's two types of time the Bible speaks about here number one is called Kronos time someone say Kronos this is qualitative time this is how we measure days and years it's sequential it's measurable it's like a clock and a calendar so our watch should actually be called a chronometer because it measures time chronological time the difference between Kronos time which is quantitative and Kairos time is the other time let me define Kairos time it's not just quantitative but it's qualitative this is a divinely appointed time please do not miss what I'm saying here today this is such a prophetic declaration over your life and I'm telling you God promised me not one word that I speak today is going to drop to the ground and it will produce a harvest it will not return to him void you need to understand what Kairos time is someone say sacred time time this is the moment where there's an opportune time a God moment a critical or significant time you got to look and you got to listen this is where Moses had a burning bush moment and God said Moses the time of wandering in the wilderness is up it's time to set my people free because it's harvest time it's harvest time this is where God said to Joshua Moses my servant
is dead I know mama passed away I know daddy passed away the baton has been passed to you and it's time to run your ways and he said Joshua I'm gonna be with you as I was with Moses and that's why when Joshua got up to this thing called the River Jordan, he could remember what God did for Moses when he got to the Red Sea and I want to tell you when you get to that Red Sea, there is a green light waiting for you because God promises this is not time to be locked out from your promises, this is not time to sit in the wilderness, it is harvest time, someone shout harvest time. Mary, you've been chosen by God, this is the time for the redemption of the world, I know you've been walking through this life feeling you've got to pay for your sins, I know you think you're going to have to live under your shortcomings but God says this is not time to be alone, this is not time for you to be empty, this is not time for you to be barren because it's harvest time, David, you've been in the wilderness looking after these sheep, I've seen your faithfulness, you turn up at your job, you turn up at church, you turn up in that marriage and this is the time where I'm giving you a promotion, you've been looking after that little sheep, you've been faithful, you've fought off the lion, you've fought off the bear, you are a shepherd, there's a shepherd heart inside of you, I've seen what you have done in the silent, I've seen what you have done when no one has been looking and God says because you've been faithful, you are not a hired hand, a hired hand runs away when the enemy comes and leaves the sheep to be devoured but God says I've seen your faithfulness, you have stood the test of time, you have put your stake in the ground and God says this is not time for the little sheep, now I'm promoting you to take care of my sheep, this is not time to be the young shepherd, this is time for you to become king because this is harvest time, come on Phil, get on those keys, we ain't finished yet but I feel something in this place, he says to young Timothy, help me out young people, Paul comes to Timothy and says do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, hey but be an example in faith, speech, conduct, love, purity and faith, God says this is not time for games, don't let anyone look down on you, look up, listen to what I got to say, the characteristics of this is that what God is trying to do in this Kairos time, let's put it back up, this is not about chronos, chronological days, years, a decade, a century, God uses that but this is vertical, this is an alignment with God, this is an alignment
with your God's season, you got to step out of that loneliness, you got to step out of that hopelessness because happiness awaits you when it's harvest time, this is your God appointed time, so victory, sing victory, authority, the king of kings, he fights in me, victory, authority, sing I've got it, I've got it, got victory, authority, the king of kings, he fights in me, victory, authority. Abraham and Sarah, you've been without child too long, this year, do it again Lord, this year is your year, this year, some of you have been waiting for that harvest, you've stepped out in faith, this year, this is the time, I know it hasn't happened yet, I know it looks like all hope is lost, this time is harvest time, I know you think you're too old Sarah, don't laugh at God, this is not laughing time, this is harvest time, Elisha, go to Pembroke Pines, tell the Shunammite woman at daughter's conference, I know the baby's dead but bring him into the presence of God, dead things are coming back to life, it's harvest time, at the Red Sea, the Red Sea, there's a green light waiting there for me, the Red Sea, Jesus fights for me, come help me Jess, sing that at the Red Sea. At the Red Sea, at the Red Sea, there's a green light waiting there for me. The Red Sea, Jesus fights for me. Do you realize that Paul and Silas were locked up in a jail cell? Chained to the jail cell. Doors locked. I don't know what opportunity you feel so locked out from. I don't know what you feel chained to from your past. But something happened when the praise went up. Something happened when they started to sing. There was a Kairos moment where God turns up and says, Every chain, every chain must fall. Chains will fall. He takes a throne. And my heart will sing. Holy are You, Lord. Sing holy are You, Lord. Holy are You, Lord. Sing holy are You, Lord. Holy are You, Lord. You matchless are You, Lord. On the day of Pentecost, the Bible said that spirit fell when they were together in one accord. Sing holy are You, Lord. Let's sing. Holy are You, Lord. Sing holy are You, Lord. Holy are You, Lord. All right. Take your seat. I've still got 15 minutes. Clap your hands if you know God's in the house. Let me teach you something.
Can you turn the lights back on? So, I grew up playing piano. Anyone grow up playing piano? Anyone learn piano? Izzy plays piano. Another pianist, another pianist. What are you doing sitting down there? There's a whole piano up here for you. All right, let me show you something. Hold those hands up one more time, piano players. All right, who knows what this is? What is it called? All right, wonderful. Just the pads for a second. So, when I was learning classical music, I was taught by this thing called a metronome. This is how we get timing. So, if I learned a piano piece like Fur Elise, or I learned something else, I didn't know what the tempo was and how the author of the music intended it to go. So, there's different things on this, things like adagio. Who remembers the word adagio? It means what? Fast or slow? Slow. It means slow. So, this is adagio, okay? You have to work with me here, Phil. So, it goes... So, if we're singing this song like this, it would be like... It would be like... A bit slow, huh? So, we're not locking in because we're out of tempo. So, there's another tempo that this can go.
It's also this thing called moderato. Let's try moderato. It's almost there. So, it's kind of out because he's not really hearing what's going on. So, we've got to try and find the speed. And there's another speed called allegro. That's about 138, but this is vivace. Vivace is a little bit faster. This is the tempo of vivace. And it goes a little bit more like this. Let's try that. Sing with me. So, when I put the microphone to this, Phil can hear it and he starts playing in time. Because he didn't hear the click. He didn't hear the click. There's something that happens when we hear the click. You may not realize this, but when we are worshipping every Sunday, you hear the... Beautiful musicians, you hear the singers. What you don't hear is that for Tony to play, he's listening to something called a click. All right, can we put the click in the house? Put the click in the house. So this is what he hears when he's playing the drums. Play now. So he has to hear this to make sure he stays in time. Kevin has to listen to Tony to make sure he stays in time.
Gerald and Phil listen to this and they stay in time. Now, let's take the click out of the house. Now, if they take their thing, do you realize they wear these things in their ears? If they take that out, they can't hear the click. You change, whatever time you want, you play whatever time you want. Play whatever time you want, go. Okay, you see what happens? Chaos, confusion. Just the key. This is what happens in our life when we don't hear the click. Jesus is the click, the Christ of heaven. Heaven is playing a song and Jesus came down from heaven to show us and invite us onto the pages to not just look up, but to listen up. This is how we hear how to step into our harvest because God's saying, this is the time. The Bible says, Isaac sowed and in that same year he planted, he reaped not 30, not 60, but a hundredfold in that same year because his ears were tuned to the click track of heaven. Here's what I wrote. In worship, the click doesn't remove creativity. In fact, it protects it. When God says, do things my way, he's not trying to remove the creativity. He's trying to protect the unity.
So we need to have agreement first with the click of heaven called Christ. And then we need alignment and agreement. Someone say alignment and agreement. It keeps the instruments aligned, every voice in time, every moment moving towards harmony. When all the singers sing, is the click back on? All right. Jess, come back out. Justin. Okay. So we sing at the Red Sea, the Red Sea. So I can't hear the click. There's a green light, there's a green light waiting. So she brings me into tempo and I got to learn to listen. So I might be the leader. Jesus is the leader of this church, but in this moment, I've got to defer to them. They're deferring to the click that Tony has. And Cheryl and Phil also empty. Now watch this. This is my secret. This is my secret place. Walking with Jesus, calling on Jesus' name. I'm pulling down the curtain for a purpose. So this guy, Phil, has a microphone. Talk, Phil. That's the best one too. You can't hear him. They did it earlier, they were ready.
You can't hear him because he's not singing. Show me what you're doing, Phil. Five to the four. Take us to the two, two, build. Six, build, build, build, build. Five, to the four, two, to the six, five, four, four. Six, five, four, four, to the four, five, six, all right. You can take him out the house. So what you don't realise is in order to make a symphonic sound, in order for this family to be formed, in order for a harvest of relationship and a harvest of sound, they need to hear the click and follow the click. We need to follow Christ, but watch this. There is a track that Gerald has at his laptop there. The track shows us the Kronos. We're about to go chorus. No, we're going to go to the verse. We're going to the bridge. But sometimes as a worship leader, you can get off track. And that's where Phil. the guide comes in. So he starts to speak and go no, no, no, no, no, slow down. Can I tell you, you will never walk through life until you have both the click call Jesus and the Holy Spirit who is your guide to lead you into the promised land. The track of heaven is the Word of God. The track of heaven is leading you to the Father. His name is Jesus and this is where we find our victory. This is where we find out our authority. You sing with me, victory. Victory, authority, oh. Hey, in the same way Jesus stepped from heaven to earth in human form, heaven is singing a song. It's a harvest song and we're invited to sing along. If we don't
sing in tempo with God, if we rush ahead of him, it's clanging cymbals, it's noisy. If we're too far behind, we lose momentum. This year, when we step to the click of Christ, we'll carry the sound of heaven. His love sets the tempo. Our obedience to the measure will allow us to step into miracles. His spirit keeps us from drifting off beat. The Father is composing a masterpiece. The steady pulse, that pulse is what a baby hears. This is the heartbeat of heaven and you've got to listen to the heartbeat of heaven. It'll soothe you. His steady pulse, the metronome is our miracle. It calls us out of chaos and inner community. It's out of rejection, alignment with Jesus and agreement with others. A harvest of relationship. Galatians 6-7 says this, do not be deceived. God's not mocked. For whatever a man sows, he will reap. So here's the lie of the enemy. If you are not listening to the guide of heaven and you're listening to the trash talk of the world, you would read this scripture, Galatians 6-7, you're not gonna reap a harvest. Remember what you sowed, you're gonna reap it. You know all those things you did when you were younger? They're coming to catch, they're catching up with you. You see, if you read that with a negative mindset, you will miss what God's trying to say. If you don't understand, you've got to follow the click called Christ. When he hung on the cross, he said, it is finished. Paid in full. All my mistakes, past, present and does Jesus have to come down and die again if I make another mistake? No. Because he paid it in full. So you've got to understand that Jesus has paid the price for me. So don't be mocked. You have sown obedience. You have sowed turning up to church. You have sowed forgiveness and you will reap a harvest. You will reap a harvest. The waters are being stirred people and you need to step in 20-20, fix your eyes on Jesus. Here's why some of us miss our harvest. Because you're fixated not on Christ, you're fixated on your mistakes. You're fixated on the wrong value system in relationships. Seeds of selfishness will never produce a harvest of sacredness. God says seek the peace and prosperity, Jeremiah 29 7. Seek the peace and prosperity to the land of which I've carried you. Most of us are not looking for the peace and prosperity of the relationship we're in. We're in it
for what we can get from it. You know I was in Miami Beach the other day and we were there last week with some of the church planters that we have a chance to support. What you don't know is that as a church you've given over last year over $100,000 to support church planters all around the world. In fact today we have a church launching in New York City with Manny and Marlene, this couple right here. He came to preach here last summer and because you sowed into him they're launching today in a strategic city that needs Jesus. We've got churches about to launch because of your generosity in Dublin, Charleston, Melbourne, Australia, Zurich, Perth, Denver, Sydney, Las Vegas. I'm really excited about Las Vegas because what happens in Vegas is not going to stay in Vegas. It's going to spread throughout the earth in Jesus' name because of your generosity. God is moving. God is doing great things. Oh man, I got, I have to finish this in the next service. I really will. Where do I end this, Lord? So we had a chance to pray for couples. Let's show that picture of praying for couples. So we had a chance to prophesy and pray over them, all these different churches. And then the last day I was sitting there preparing for this message, and I'm looking outside my beautiful hotel window. They put us up. Some of the larger churches cover the cost of this, so we can just come and be blessed, even though we're supporting others, we're still part of the church plants. And this is what I saw as I looked out my window. Watch this. This guy was playing Frisbee.
Watch this guy down at the bottom. He's playing Frisbee. And I was like, who's he throwing that to? This brother is throwing the Frisbee to himself. And doesn't it look impressive? It looks so impressive until you realize, let me show you the other video. Look how many people on that beach. There are so many people on that beach. And this guy cannot find one friend, not one friend. He has to play Frisbee. And I know it looks impressive. And some of us look impressive, but we're lonely. It looks like you've got it all together. You're at the top of your game, but you're lonely. And God says today, today, there is a harvest of relationship waiting for you. But there are four things that are stopping it. Ecclesiastes says this in verse four of verse nine says, two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either one falls down, one can help the other up, but pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Next verse. Also, if two lie down, they will keep warm. Pastor Emma. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. I've got someone fighting for me at the Red Sea. Alignment with God, agreement with others.
Say alignment with God, agreement with others. Two can defend themselves, a cord off. So watch this. One's good, two's better, three will not be broken. Let me say it again. One's good, two's better, but three will not be broken. Alignment with God, one, two. Agreement with others, three. I'm so excited to announce that in four weeks, some vision Sunday, February, we will be starting not one service, not two service, but three services, everybody. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We got victory, authority. All right, let me tell you why we do this. I'm gonna finish in seven minutes. But are you getting your breakthrough here today? I'm gonna give you something to take with you as well, but you've caught it, you've caught it. Because there's Kairos time, there's Kronos time, but Kairos time, God appointed moment. I see the breakthrough. I hear the chains falling in the spirit. That's what I'm hearing, get off me, get off me. You're getting a free, you're getting a free. You know, we moved from one service to two services. For this reason, our history makers kids didn't have a chance to come to service. Now they could serve one, sit one. We went from one service to two services to make room
because people like choice. So instead of just one service at 11, we moved to nine at 1130. And we found that God literally doubled our church when we made room for God. This is harvest time, so we're making room in obedience for what God says, but also because since 2020, our mindset has changed. You know, when you go to a cinema, do you look for the seat right next to another person or you look for some room? You look a little bit of space to spread out. There's a mindset, we like a little bit of space and that's okay, but the rest of the world feels the same way. So when they come in, once a church gets to this size, especially the 930, which is about 80% full, 70% full, people will come and they will get lost. And so we're making room for a third service. Now, this service last week had about 517. I think we're about 600 plus here today. 1130 had 773. So once we get to that 70%, we have to make a shift. In fact, in kids, we're not at 70%. Right now, in HistoryMakers kids, we're at 90%, which is great, but it's too full, too full. We need to make room. So that's why we're going to three services because one's good, two's better, but three is not easily broken.
You know Jesus tells his story about a certain man that invited three types of people to a party. In Luke 14 it says, verse 16, Jesus said he was preparing a banquet, invited many guests and he said, I invited some people. They don't invite people and they text you last minute tell you they can't come. Doesn't that suck? It's like, so they text him last minute because they had apples. One says, I can't come because I bought a field. That's called position. These are the three things that are stopping you from stepping into your relationship harvest. Let me tell you right now, write this down. It's your position, possession and your passions. I haven't got it on the screen, but write it down. Position, possessions and passions. Position was I bought a field. I'm a landowner now. I can't come. I married a wife. Passion, passion. I got other things to do and I bought a yoke of oxen. That's possessions and these things will stop you from getting to God. But here's what he said, the landowner Jesus didn't stay there lonely. He said, verse 23, the master told his servants, I need you to go out and here's what we need to do to step into our relationship harvest. You got to go out of your comfort zone, get out of your circle, get out of your click and start to follow the click track of heaven. His name is Christ. You will never step into what God has for you until you learn to step out of your click. Now, some of you come to church and say the church is clicky. Can I tell you wherever people gather, there's always going to be problems and politics and clickiness. But let me tell you how to click into the click. You got to understand that you come in here. I remember when we moved here from Australia, I thought if I can just meet this pastor and meet that pastor and hang out with them, man, everything will be okay. I saw this group of pastors, they're famous and these other ones had a lot of money. I'm like, I just want to be in that. And can I tell you, I had to shift very quickly and say, I don't need to be the one that's invited. But God said, if you will be the invitee. I remember growing up in a big church in Australia and I'm a pretty friendly guy, but I had so many people. I remember one pastor telling the story and she was like, I was like, if I can just get in with this crowd, the people with possessions or the cool people, they're going to lift my risk factor, going to lift my riches, my relation. And you choose relationships for what they can do for you. That's why you can't get in because you've got the wrong value system. And she said she invited all these people over and they came and they all talked to each other and left her out because they had their friends. But in a church, this side, this is why we have this cliques, every tribe, every tongue, but it's one family, every tribe, every
time. So you've got to find your people. You've got to find your place and find your people. Here's how you find your people. Be friendly. Some of you come to groups and come to church looking like you've been baptized in vinegar. You're all sassy about everything. And you wonder why you can't get friends. And you come with the personality of a viper. Can't believe, look at the time. I should have been watching the fall. The Bible says, Proverbs 18, a man who has friends must himself be friendly. Must be what? But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. It's called alignment with the clique of heaven called Christ. But there has to be not just alignment, but agreement. Agreement. I should put that on the screen for next service. That was good. That's coming to me. Alignment and agreement with not just Christ, but his church, his body. I know some of you like, Pastor Emma loves some notes, but let me tell you, here's four things to step into your relational harvest. It's easy. It's a piece of cake. Let's put it up on the screen. C, you got to care. Can I tell you, look at me. No one cares how much you know until they know you care. So you go in a group and you want to tell people how much money you make and how much you know about Jesus and you pontificate on the exegesis of the text. Shut up. Spiritually, like heavenly, just listen. Care. Care. A, accept. Be accepting. Some of you are so critical, so judgmental. You know, I heard something at this retreat this week and it just was, oh, my relationship with my wife. The reason why God says this is a picture of the church. church is because there is no greater picture to walk in someone else's shoes than the incarnation. What's this? To step out of my shoes and see what Emma thinks and feels is what Jesus, the click of heaven, stepped out of heaven to earth. To feel what we feel, to understand what we understand. This is why when we sing Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna holy are you. We're singing Hosanna sing because you came down to understand and to save. I knew there was a letter. Kindness, be willing to do for others what you would love them to do for you. Love is patient, love is kind and you know why you can't be kind? All you angry people, I don't know who hurt you but listen, here's why you can't be kind to others because you've never received the kindness and the goodness of God. You don't understand this truth that He has paid for all your sins. God is not mad at you. Stop being mad with yourself. He's forgiven you. Be kind
because love is patient, love is and guess who love is? God is love and you got to put energy, you got to put effort. Relationships are a piece of cake. You got to step out of rejection and step into relationship. Man, I had an altar call prepared for people who feel rejected and I needed to remind you of Joseph. If that's you, would you stand if you just feel you've been rejected. You've tried and people have rejected you. Can I just say God sees your heart young lady and what you thought was rejection from man, God says was acceptance from heaven and when you were bold enough to take that first stand and each and every one of you, you need to remember that Joseph in the Bible, he thought he was being rejected by man but it was an acceptance from heaven because God had to take him chronos over time into that moment where the kairos came and what the enemy meant for evil, God says he's working for good and I want to break this, lift your hands to heaven, I want to break the spirit of rejection off your life in Jesus name. You are not damaged goods, you are not lonely, you are not isolated. God has accepted you, God has called you, you are his daughter, you are his son, you are dearly loved and I want to tell you so again, go again, believe again, accept again, care again. I break the spirit of rejection off your life in Jesus name. Broken, gone in Jesus name. Every wall that has held you back from God's purposes and promises, broken, step into your season because it's harvest time in Jesus name, amen. If you can stay for the next service, I promise you there's more but if you need to go, go on, let me just ask this question. You will never be able to walk into your harvest time until you first know, see the click of heaven called Christ and to hear what he has to say to you through the Holy Spirit, the guide. If you're here today with every eye closed and every head bowed, if you've never accepted Jesus, the Bible says if you believe in your heart and confess, someone say confess. Can I tell you your harvest, your eternal harvest is as close as you can get these next words out of your mouth as I send them into your ears. Watch this, I'm going to pray a prayer of salvation. If you want me to include you in this prayer of salvation by faith to make sure your name is written in the book of life with no one looking around, if you want to be included in this prayer, will you lift your hands and say, yep, Terrence, include me. Awesome, hands going up all across this room. Yes, awesome. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 is what I counted, but if I missed you, God didn't miss you. You pop those hands down. Let's say this
by faith. Say dear God, thank you for sending Jesus to find me and to forgive me. Today, I'm free to step into my harvest of divine relationship with you, God. Today, I repent of Go in my own ways, and I follow Christ, the click of heaven. Thank you for inviting me into your eternal song. I'm saved in Jesus' name, amen and amen and amen.
