Don't Give Up: Your Miracle is Closer Than You Think | Pastor David Crank
You should write this down too. I always say the greatest fight to faith is the fight you fight to keep from fighting in your mind. The greatest fight to faith is the fight you fight to keep from fighting. You're not gonna make it. You're not gonna have enough money. You can't do chemo again. No, no, no, you start saying I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. If God be for me, who and what can be against me? Oh yeah, what can separate me from the love of God versus through Christ Jesus? Hype, death, things present, things that come. No, I'm blessed coming in. I'm blessed going out. And no weapon formed against me, including me, is gonna prosper today. And the devil goes, man, they must go to History Makers Church, forget it. But today, I really wanna drop something in your heart to let you know that what God wants to do in you and through you is bigger than you think. Not a hype message. I'm not here to preach a hype message. I'm just here to tell you a little bit about my story to help you with yours. Number one, I really believe that God is speaking to me about 2027, that 2027, not because it rhymes, he spoke to me, told me to lead my church down this path,
that 2027 is gonna be a year of heaven. Not that we're going to heaven in 27. First of all, how many of y'all wanna go to heaven, but not today? Raise your hand, not today. There's a load going today, not today, but I do wanna go. Numerology, five means grace and favor. We know that, five means grace and favor. We know six, if you're gonna get a tattoo on your forehead, don't get 666. Come on, somebody, right? It's not a good number. But we know seven is the number of completeness. And I believe that God is taking History Makers Church and you right now into this next year already starting today. I don't believe it's by accident that I'm here today on the first day, not that I'm special at all, but I really feel like that God spoke to me actually on the way here on Highway 95. I was praying on 95, by the way, if you're on Highway 95, you need to be praying. Come on, somebody. These super speeders are real. Forget it that they're gonna lock you up at 100. They don't care. Come on now, they're just trucking. And I was praying and the Lord spoke to me about this church.
I saw it like in my spirit that I saw us in, I don't know if it's next year or when it is, but it's coming soon to where God is going to move you guys into your own land, in your own building, have your own, come on, somebody, nobody can kick you out, nobody can throw you out. Come on, somebody ought to give God praise for that today. And I wanna get your faith high for it. I believe it to be a church building. I don't believe it's gonna be a building and I'll kinda unpack that for you. I don't believe it's gonna be a building that you gotta spend a ton of ton of million dollars fixing it up. I believe it's gonna have kids rooms. I believe it's gonna have a baptism. I believe it's gonna have a kitchen. What's a church without a kitchen? Can I get an amen? I wanna go to 2 Kings chapter six, verse one. And it said, the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, see now the place where you dwell at the high school in Pembroke Pines is too small for you. Come on, somebody ought to shout amen. I wanna park there just for a minute and tell you that don't just think about the church, but think about you. Where you're at right now is not where you're going. If you're a note taker, you should write this down. A mind's stretch never goes back to its original size.
A mind's stretch never goes back to its original size. And so if you grew up super poor like I did, you feel uncomfortable going into spaces and places where you think people got, they have money or people are influential. You might not have come from a good family, but if good family can come from you and you can break that generational cycle of poverty and thinking that you're not enough and that God is more than enough, so the place that you're at is too small. Please let us go over to the Jordan and let every man take a beam from there and let us make for him a place to dwell. So he answered, go. Then one said, please consent to go with us with your servants and he answered, I will go. So he sat with them and they came to the Jordan and they cut down trees. Notice they had work to do. That's what I see you guys do at kids camp, youth camp. You guys are working hard. Pastor Emma and Terrence are working super hard. In fact, I would come to this church just for the accent if you know what I mean, come on somebody. But as there was one that was cutting down a tree and the iron axe head fell into the water and he cried and said, oh no, it was borrowed. Notice that he's borrowed something, he knows I gotta pay it back.
I didn't even have money to buy it and now it has fallen. So the man of God said, notice there's always a person of God speaking into your life. He said, where did it fall? And he showed him the place where it fell. So he cut a stick, makes no sense at all. He cut a stick and he threw it in there and he made the iron float. This is the first time we see a reverse mortgage in the Bible. He makes an iron float. Therefore he said, pick it up for yourself, pick it up for yourself. I'm gonna say it again, pick it up for yourself. So he reached in his hand and he took it. Everything that you do in life, especially when God is in it, the enemy and the inner me will fight you. There is a devil. How many of y'all believe in the devil? Raise your hand. Somebody at my church the other day, I said, do you believe in the devil? The lady said, I sure do. I was married to his brother for 10 years. So the devil is real. You know this history makers, what's the devil do? He comes immediately to steal the word. So he comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy.
What's to steal from you? The hope that maybe someday you'll do something great. He wants to say, oh, you know what? You're in too much debt. By the way, debt, the acronym, you should write this down, is doing everything but tithing. Come on, God can't bless you if you're not open to God blessing you, if you're a thief. You can steal from Walmart and their security cameras might not catch it, but God is everywhere, come on. So we know that every dime out of a dollar belongs to God. And so we gotta get that right first. And I know you get that here. So let's think about this. Healing belongs to you, salvation belongs to you, but then financial freedom belongs to you. God wants you to be blessed. Now in South Florida, on the way here today, I passed a bunch of yachts. You know, as you're coming up on Fort Lauderdale Airport, over to the right, you know where that's at, that big marina. There's a guy that at our church in Florida, he actually owns one of those big marinas. And I'd never been on a boat like that. And I went out one time years ago, they invited me out and they went, it was like $100,000 to fill the boat up. And I was like, now I know why they call it a yacht,
because it costs a lot of money to put gas in it. And I never dreamed that God would put me in spaces and places like that. But what's interesting is some of these people that come to our church, they have money, but oftentimes money has them, and money doesn't make you happy. Now, I certainly, money doesn't make you sad. Some people say money can't buy you happiness, but it'll buy you a convertible to help you find it. Come on, somebody. But God wants God's people to have money so the people of the world look at you and go, why is History Maker's parking lots full of great cars? Why are the people, you know, jumping and singing, I'm too holy to look like that. I'm too pretty to date like that, come on. So God is wanting to, come on, give it up for our songwriters at the church that wrote that too. I recorded it, we'll steal it, we're totally jacking that. You guys can sue us, we don't care. But God's doing something here right now, but he wants to stretch you, and so I wanna help you to stretch your mind for a minute. I was telling you about that boat, not to impress you, but to impress upon you that God'll put you in spaces and places sometimes to stretch your mind. When I was out on that boat, there was one of our buildings that we were getting ready to build by, actually, it was a former Sam's, and it was a $21 million building,
and at that time, I couldn't fit it in here or in here. And as I watched all these different boats pull up to the marina, remember I said, a mind stretch never goes back to its original size. God spoke to me that scripture that I gave you, History Maker's church, that the place you're in is too small, and so God had to get me around it, and all of a sudden, I got aggravated. I wasn't mad that these people had boats. I just realized if heathens can have boats like that that cost 20 million and 10 million, then churches can have $20 million buildings to change people's lives, to rescue people out of sex trafficking, to feed the homeless. Come on, give yourself a hand today. That's what we're called to do. See what I mean? So now, let me tell you this. Sometimes you're living below what God wants you to do just because you're looking at your past, and you're judging and doing the math on your miracle. This is how long it would take me to get out of debt. This is how long it would take me to get a husband. Got online, got catfished four times. Come on, somebody, and I'm looking for my bo-ass, but so far, all I've found is my broke-ass, dumb-ass, stupid-ass. I said ass. Come on, y'all perverts, you're wrong. But God wants to do something in you and through you,
but first, you've got to watch what you say. This is a very important one I'm saying right now. The Bible said you're snared by the words of your mouth, and you eat good by the fruit of your lips. So think about this in Genesis. Remember when God, you know this, God went out and he said, it was dark, and he said, let there be, you know this, light. Shout it again. He said what? Let there be light. If it was most of us, we'd have looked out and said, man, it's dark out there. Oh, it's just black. It's a black cat eating licorice in a coal pit. It is dark out there. And we would have continued this cycle of darkness. God saw dark, said light. He saw dark, said light. That's why the Bible said, let the weak say, I'm strong. Let the poor say, I'm rich. Let the sick say, I'm healed. Come on, history makers, church, who am I talking to today? Be careful what you say, because what you say can and will be used against you. So be careful what you say. So start looking at your life and start saying, I know this is where I'm called to be. God's called me to be a blessing so I can bless others,
so I can change lives, and so that can be a part of this history-making church. God didn't bring your pastors all the way from Australia over here to just kind of. to do something. He brought them over here to plant a church. There has been opposition, both in their lives and in your lives, because the devil didn't take this lying down because you guys have actually changed the trajectory of this school. The school who said there's no prayer in school because the history makers now invited you guys in to pray for the school. Come on, this isn't normal, guys. So be careful what you're saying about you because here's what I know. How many of you in here, you could really use a lot more money than you have? Raise your hand. I wanna see who you are. Raise your hand high. If you didn't raise your hand, we wanna go to lunch with you today because you got extra. Okay, let's try that again. How many of y'all could use some more money? All right, good. So now we're saying, okay, God wants to give us a building. He's gonna give us territory.
Was he gonna send like a rich guy in to give us the money? Most likely not. He might, but he might not. He wants to use you. You're saying, well, how in the world is he gonna use me? Because I don't have any money. Remember, God said, let there be light. I want you to start speaking over your life and that's the way I want it. That's the way I want it. The president of a company that goes to our church in St. Louis, we have eight different campuses and one of the guys, he goes to a campus that's all stream and his name's Scott Criswell and he's the president of a company and those guys that really aggressively make the heights and scale the scales that he's went to, they really get a lot of coaches in their life. And they brought in a coach, Scott did, and the guy spent a week with him and after a week, basically the synopsis was, what is it that you saw that I need to change? And he said, Scott, what I want you to do is after everything you say for a week, everything you say, I want you to include this phrase and that's the way I want it. Everybody shout that, and that's the way I want it. So he started saying that. It seems I can't find any good employees and that's the way I want it.
Seems like we can't catch any good breaks and that's the way I want it. Seems like we're always a dollar behind and that's the way I want it. I can't, see how quick you can change that? And that's the way I want it. So be careful what you're saying. I can't catch a good break. Gas is really high and that's the way I want it. Listen, God wants to change your mindset to where when you go to the gas station, you're smiling like your pastor. He's always like, I can't even skip like he skips. He's light on his feet and he jumps around and he's doing his thing. You need to say, man, I wanna be like Terrence when I'm at the gas pump. And people will look at you and go, what in the world is going on with them? And then you're like, oh, I'm blessed and highly favored. I wanna fill up your tank too. And they're gonna go, oh yeah, where do you go to church? Come on, somebody. Now, if you're depressed, tell them you go to First Baptist. Come on, somebody, if you're, ah, ah, ah. Don't tell them you come here. We're a history maker's church. Come on, give it for yourself today. And that's the way I want it. I got a story to tell you after I read this
in Mark 16, verse 17. It said, these signs will follow those who believe. John, I'm a believer. These signs shall follow them that believe. In my name, they will cast out demons. They will speak with new tongues and they will take up serpents. And if they drink any deadly thing, it will not by any means hurt them. And they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. These signs shall follow them that believe. I want you to start believing bigger. In 2027, be like that woman. Remember the woman with the issue of blood? She said, if I could get to the hem of Jesus' garment and touch him, I will be healed. Have an expectation. Start having a clear plan for where you wanna go in 2027. I mean, start a vision board. Start writing it down. I wanna look like this. I wanna weigh this. I wanna live here. I wanna give this much. When you start picturing where you wanna be, then all of a sudden, your mind starts figuring out, through neurological thinking, all of a sudden, your mind starts figuring out, through neurological pathways, the neurons that wire together, fire together,
they start changing the way you think. I say this all the time. If you can change the way you think, you can change the way you live. If you can change the way you think, you can change the way you live. Some of you are thinking, I'm broke. We came from the wrong side of the tracks. It's a negative mindset that keeps you back. Oh, we're just this. We're just that. We don't belong here. I want you to start picturing yourself belonging where you're supposed to belong. I want you to picture yourself living in the neighborhood that you wanna live in. I want you to start picturing yourself happy and blessed and favored and anointed and strong. And it's not just mind over matter or positive speaking. It's the way God said you live. He said, as a man thinketh, so is he in his heart. So if you think broke, you'll be broke. If you think sick, you'll be sick. You have to walk in the direction that God called you to walk in and not do the math on your miracle or think this is the way it's always been. You start prophesying because you are the cultural architect of your own life. I want you to write that down.
You're the cultural architect of your own life. And then expect these signs to follow you. When I was a little boy, my dad was a police officer and he decided he was gonna be a preacher. And so he bought a travel trailer and it's about the length of this stage right here. And we lived in there. and he traveled all over the country and all these different little churches and we didn't have any money at all. We actually, every day, my dad would pray oftentimes over food we did not have. We would sit at the table, at the little kitchen table in that motor home, and we would pray for food and if the food didn't come, my dad would make us fake that we were eating bologna. We had to chew that we were eating bologna. I was thinking, man, if we're faking, why aren't we eating steak? Come on, somebody, why are we eating bologna? But that's a whole other sermon on a negative, broke mindset. But he would pray over the food. But then one day, in that trailer, he began to read his Bible. I mean, that'll help. And he began to find out that 2 3rds of the parables in the Bible were dealing with money. And that God wants you blessed and he wants you out of debt and he started realizing that for him
to get to the next level, that if he needed food every day, he had to sow every day. You gotta sow it every day. So way before you could give online or an app that you have here at the church, my dad said, we're gonna get a dollar every day and we're gonna send it to this guy. His name is Kenneth Copeland. He watched Kenneth Copeland on television. He said, I'm gonna send a dollar every day. Now, back in the olden days, there used to be a thing called soda bottles and you could trade those in for 10 cents. Old people are gonna know this. If you're old, not authentic, raise your hand if you know what I'm talking about. So one of my jobs was to go around, some days we didn't have enough money, and to find those soda bottles and to sell them, get them back into the grocery store to get it so he could send a dollar, not in a week, not $30 at the end of the month, every single day. No matter where we were, we would sell it. After two or three years, Kenneth Copeland Ministries called because they said that they wanted to interview my dad because he wasn't the biggest giver, but he was the most consistent giver. And every day at their ministry in Texas, they would say, who got that crank letter?
Who got that crank letter? And because of his faithfulness, remember this, the Bible said, the faithful person shall abound in the blessing. So now he gets interviewed by Brother Copeland and then years now, 20 years pass, 30 years pass, my dad passes, he goes to heaven. I'm in New York about five years ago and we're going to this important meeting and I looked and there was two elevators going up and there was about 40 of America's top ministers that were invited to this room. And I looked over at the elevator and there's Kenneth Copeland. I thought, man, what I wouldn't give to be in that elevator. I'd like to tell him my story. All of a sudden, they shut that elevator down and they brought him over to my side. Come on, favor ain't fair, is it, right? In there, I said, hey, my name's David Crank. My dad goes, oh my gosh, he starts hitting me. Now he's 80 years old then, right? He's 89 I think now. He's hitting me and he goes, this boy right here, his dad gave a dollar a day. He said, I'm starting a new television network called Victory Network and he said, we're gonna put you on there for free. And so now, for almost eight years now, they've given us a million dollars every year
in free air time around the world. My dad never saw that harvest, see what I'm saying? But my dad sowed that seed. I wanna pause there and say, sometimes you're sowing a seed or maybe your grandma sowed a seed and you're gonna get the harvest in 2027. Can I get a better amen? Not everybody's gonna believe this, but some of you are gonna grab it. Shout, it's for me. Shout it again, say, it's for me. These are true stories. These signs shall follow them that believe. Start expecting signs to follow. Now, History Makers Church, what we don't do is we don't follow signs, that's weird. Signs follow us. So that means every day when you come to church and the enemy says, don't go to church today, you gotta get up early, you gotta get the kids ready, you gotta fight traffic, and you gotta get here, then you gotta hear all the singing, then you have to hear all the announcements. Would you rather just stay home? No, no, no, no, no. You're going to church and what you're doing on a Sunday is you're preparing yourself for Monday. You're going into this week, next week, like nobody else. When other people ask about the weekend, how it went,
they're like, oh man, I got stoned, I got hammered, I'm still hungover. You're hungover, but it's a holy hangover. Come on, some of you are saying, oh, I'm too blessed to think like that. I'm too anointed to think like that. Somebody ought to go with me on this today. I prophesy that over to you. Don't grow weary in well-doing, you will reap if you faint not. I'm gonna say it again. Don't grow weary in well-doing, you'll reap if you faint not. Oftentimes it's not that people aren't doing the right things, they just aren't doing it long enough. My dad gave that dollar a day till it turned to $2 a day, till it turned to $5 a day. You gotta stick with it. Stick with it. And the enemy, I just sense it. And I know it just because I have it happen to. You have seasons where they're just, the enemy just fights you really hard. Anybody in a season where the enemy's just fighting you really hard. And then all of a sudden, you open up your mouth and you go, I don't know if I can do it again another week. And hell says, oh man, I don't think you can do it another week.
And they start strategizing and figuring out how to set you up to get you to actually prophesy your own demise. What really discourages hell and the devil is when you're actually in the greatest fight that you're in. You should write this down too. I always say the greatest fight to faith is the fight you fight to keep from fighting in your mind. The greatest fight to faith is the fight you fight to keep from fighting. You're not gonna make it. You're not gonna have enough money. You can't do chemo again. No, no, no. You start saying, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. If God be for me, who and what can be against me? Oh yeah, what can separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus? Hype, death, things present, things that come. No, I'm blessed coming in. I'm blessed going out. And no weapon formed against me, including me, is gonna prosper today. And the devil goes, man, they must go to History Makers Church, forget it. Let's try it again on the Presbyterians. Am I making sense to anybody today? Raise your hand if I'm, I'm just trying to put it
on the inside of you. Because God's got something really, really big for your life. And the bigger the call, I think that the bigger the opposition that you'll have. In Genesis one, verse two, it says, and the earth was without form, void. Darkness was on the face of the deep. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water. It was without form. It was void. The Spirit of God hovered, brewed. It's just like when a little hen is sitting on an egg. They're hovering over it. In the month of August, September, October, November, December, these next five months, I want you to start really, really visualizing it, taking it serious and start visualizing where you wanna be. Where do I wanna be in my debt? Where do I wanna be in my prayer life? You don't even know how much you owe until you write it down. You don't even know how, how, how, you know, what you weigh until you weigh yourself. I'm gonna try that again over here. Come on, somebody. But you need to know where you're at so you can prophesy to where you want to go. Because if you just accept whatever the enemy brings to you,
or you just accept defeat, or you just accept that's good enough, that's not good enough. God said this in his word, Ephesians 3.20. You know this. He is able to do, not he's gonna. He said he's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask, think, or imagine according to the power that works within you. So today when Pastor Emma was praying over you and prophesying over you and telling you there's a little bit of opposition and press in, some of you pressed in, and that's God's way of stirring up the gift of God on the inside of you. So when you go out this week, History Makers Church, you're not just being a member of this church. You're actually out there ministering to people in the South Florida region and thinking of strategic ways to invite them and bring them into the church. Raise your hand if that makes sense to you. God's not just blessing you so you can have a bigger boat, a bigger house, a bigger car, a bigger life. He's blessing you so that you can be a blessing to other people and so that we can continue. I'm proud of it. It looks incredible in the summer to be this full, but I'm here to tell you that what God's doing in you is really, really big. In 2027, I prophesy over History Makers Church is going to be a mind-boggling year for you.
Come on, give God a hearty praise today. Mind-boggling. But you've gotta know specifically what you want. When I was a little boy, I was about seven years old, and my dad was listening to tapes over and over, cassette tapes. Some of you don't know what they are. Just Google it. It's like this little cassette, and sometimes it would go like this, and the tape would go down, and you'd have to get a pencil and do like this right here. Come on, son. You young people are so blessed. You don't even know what you're dealing with. Well, my dad would listen to those tapes in that travel trailer where we lived, right? And we'd go from town to town, and I would have to hear it, because I'm a little boy. And I remember a day I came to my dad, and I said, Dad, I want a bike. The problem is, remember, we're not even eating regular every day. I said, I want a bike. My dad gets depressed, because he thinks I can't buy him a bike. I don't have any money for a bike. He said, what kind of bike do you want? I said, Dad, I want an orange bike.
I want high handlebars. I want a banana seat, and I want chrome fenders. And he's thinking, I can never afford a bike like that. So the only thing my dad knew to do was to actually pray. So he said, come here, let's pray. So I'm a little boy. By the way, this is good, to pray. Instead of just buying your kids stuff, pray with them and allow them to believe God. So he's praying with me. He said, God, we come to you in the name of Jesus. God, you said whatever you asked the Father in the name of Jesus, he'll give it to you. Me and young David right now, because he was Dave Senior, he said, me and young David come to you right now. We believe we received that bike, and tell him what kind of bike it is. So I said, God, I thank you, Lord. I see an orange bike, banana seats, high handlebars, chrome fenders. My dad's thinking, how am I gonna do it? How am I gonna do it? How am I gonna do it? In Jesus' name, we pray. So we go to a couple churches in different towns, and my dad's pulling into the town, you know, pulling the trailer.
He's pulling into town, and when he pulls into town, he passes, back in the day, they would put like, somebody might have, you might have seen this, like a front yard, and there'd be like a 50 bicycles where they took a bunch of junk bikes and put them together. And it said $10, and my dad's like, oh my gosh, this is my answer. It's $10, I can go. So as soon as he, and got everything going, he sneaks away with the last $10 he has, and he goes and buys this bicycle. Comes back to the trailer, knocks at the door, says, hey, I got your bike. I'm so excited, I'm tripping, running outside, little boy, I run outside, and I said, that's not my bike. That bike is green. That bike, the banana seed has a rip. That bike has rust. My bike is orange. My bike, and my dad's like thinking he spent his last $10, and he said, son, that is your bike. I said, that's not my bike. He said, it is your bike. And this is back when they still whipped kids. Come on, somebody. He started pulling off his belt and said, that's your bike. So with high objections, I agreed that that's my bike. He put it on the front of the car. We're driving to the park, and it falls off.
He kind of runs over it. He straightens the wheel. It's a terrible experience. Two cities later, he never told anybody that I wanted a bike, because we didn't make our requests made known to people. Our requests made known to God. So just like this church, nobody knew us. We came in, and so there was a knock at the trailer door. The guy said, hey, Brother Dave, before you preach tonight, I live about two doors down. Could you come to my house? I got something I want to give you for your son. So I went, and we're walking up. And we're walking up to the stairs of this guy's little duplex, and he said, my dad owned the local Western Auto here in town. And he sold it, and he sold everything. But the one thing he didn't sell, I thought your kid might want. He rolls it out, and it's an orange bike with high-handle bars with a banana seat. And I said, that's my bike! That's my bike! That's my bike! And it's a true story. So some of you today, they say, that's not my man. That's not my job. That's not my house. That's not my car. Come on, somebody.
I know what my man looks like. Come on, somebody. My man got six-pack abs and a job. Can I get an amen? But if you don't know what you want, if you don't know where you're going, then you're just mirandering and wondering around, wondering what's going to happen. And remember, where you're at right now is not where you're going. With all the churches we have, when I think now that my dad made me pray, and that's why I'm so glad that you're bringing your kids to History Makers Church, they're getting an infusion of the Word of God. They're getting a Holy Ghost empowerment. They're getting trained. It's a big deal. And I didn't know then, like now, every week, I have churches going right now. There would be like 13 different services today. It takes $300,000 every week to make Faith Church go. Do the math on that. This is a little guy that had no money, just believing God, to eat. And look what God has put us responsible for. But look what we're responsible for now. I'm telling you that you've grossly underestimated what God wants to do in you. I'm gonna say it again. You've grossly underestimated the power
that God wants to do and run through you. You say, well, you don't even know me. I know this. Here it is at 10.30 on a Sunday morning, and you drove yourself to a high school that got remodeled. Come on, somebody. And you were in a high school that got remodeled. There's something different about you. You're in here saying, I don't even want a one-hour service. Do you know that I looked at the service, and you guys are at one hour, and I haven't even preached yet, and I looked and said, are these two-hour services? Because our church is an hour and 10 minutes. And I thought, that's what we're doing wrong. There's something rushed about church services. I like a church that has a, it's just an infusion here of a little bit of Australia, Jamaica, Cuba, Latino. Come on, somebody. This is what heaven's gonna look like. I said, this is what heaven's gonna look like. By the way, people ask me all the time, is God white or black? You're gonna get confused when you get to heaven, and he goes, buenos dias. Come on, somebody. You're gonna freak.
But start, start thinking about what you're thinking about. If you're a note-taker, write that down. Think about what you're thinking about. As the Bible said, as a man thinketh, so is he. So if you're thinking broke, if you're thinking not enough, if you're thinking, well, I'll just accept that. I'll just take that. After all, that's all I deserve. We're not looking to what you deserve. We're looking to what God deserves, and what he wants to do on the inside of you and through you. And again, I know this because you're at church on a Sunday morning when nobody else is at church. You're seeking God, and remember this? In Matthew 6, 33, it says this. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things. Everybody shout things. All these things, housing, bling, bling, cha-ching, cha-ching, all these ings will be added unto you. Most people are not trying to add it to themselves, but when you get a revelation that the reason I'm blessed is because I am called to be an authorized dealer of prosperity, to feed the poor, to rescue people that are hurting, to build a church, to build God's kingdom, to get as many people into the church
so we can get them born again and get them into heaven. Because listen, church, we just want to get this done so we can get out of here. When we get to heaven, it's gonna be no bills, come on, no. Lord of power, can I get an amen? No taxes, worshiping God, enjoying your life. We gotta do it now. I feel led to share this with you. Remember the Lord's Prayer? Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God gave me that for 2027. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Growing up, I kept hearing, you know, we get to heaven, we're singing songs about heaven. Oh, we get to heaven. What a day of rejoicing. Well, everything was at the heaven. When I get to heaven, I'll be happy. When I get to heaven, I'll be skinny. When I get to heaven, I'll be blessed. When I get to heaven, it's gonna be good. But God said, no, I want my will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Everybody shout it again, on earth as it is in heaven. So I want you to prepare yourself to realize this wasn't just a sermon.
It's a word from God to you today. Start preparing for 2027. Not that God isn't gonna finish up some things in 26. I believe it's still gonna be a good year. But oh, 2027, oh, 2027 is the year that you are going to mark all years by. 27's gonna be the one you say, oh, 27's when we got our house. You know how you mark things about, oh, before COVID, after COVID, before dad died, after dad, 27's gonna be one of those years you go, oh yeah, that's the year that this happened. That's the year that we got out of debt. That's the year that my son got saved. That's the year that I defeated cancer. That's the year that I changed the way I thought. That's the year that belongs in the history books for History Makers Church. Raise your hand if you agree with this today. Wave it. Raise your hand if you wish the person next to you had not raised their hand, if you know what I mean. Let me tell you a couple more miracle stories that I think will help you. Satan comes for your vision. Let's go to Habakkuk 2.3. It says, for the vision is yet for an appointed time. For the vision is yet for an appointed time. Isaiah 40, 31, but those that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength. Look at your neighbor and say, sorry about your wait. No, don't do that. Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Sometimes the greatest fight to faith is the last five minutes. Sometimes the hardest part is, think about this. If you're the pastor of History Makers Church, and week one they say you're not having church, and you go, what are we gonna do? People are gonna go to other churches. People are gonna get out of the habit of going to church. Week two, you can't have church. You're the pastors of History Makers Church. What do we do now? How are we gonna meet the budget? How are we gonna keep things going? Are people gonna go to other churches? Are people moving out? Oh yeah, that's a fight to faith. What are we gonna do though? You say, oh, you know what? We're gonna spend a bunch of money when we don't have any money coming in, and we're gonna rent blowups. I'm sure they don't own those blowups. If they do, I need to rent them. Come on, somebody from you guys. They don't own the blowups. They don't own that stuff,
and they start giving to the community. They didn't cry about week three. What in the world are we going to do? What are we gonna do? The school, man, boy, it better look incredible when we get back in there, because we're sacrificing, but I bet the carpet's new, but it's got gold inlaid, but it's phenomenal, because I'm here to tell you that many times the pressure that you think that you're under, you think that you're the only one under it, and sometimes we're under it. I want us to get over it. 2 Corinthians 2 14 says, now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph. So to overcome obstacles must mean that there's gonna be an obstacle, but the obstacle, the vision is for an appointed time, and that last five minutes is where it gets really tough. When is he gonna do it? What do you do in the waiting time? Remember the Bible said, don't grow weary in well-doing, you will reap, and then it says, if you faint not. Most people give up. They cave in. They quit. When the scale doesn't move, they go, screw it, I'm depressed, I'm just gonna go eat Girl Scout cookies. Come on, let's thank God for Girl Scout cookies right now.
God, we thank you for those singular tubes on both sides. But we get depressed, and we go for immediate gratification instead of long-term satisfaction. Raise your hand if that makes sense to you. So don't grow weary in well-doing. Realize that the vision is for an appointed time. So what do we do when it's tough? You keep on doing what's right because it's right and you do it right. What do you do when it's hard? Because it's gonna get hard. There's time your marriage is gonna get difficult. There's times when your life is gonna get difficult. There's difficult times that come. We don't get to come to God because there's no difficult times. Like, oh, we're faith people. Now, bad things never happen to faith people. Oh, no, yeah, they do. That's why we walk by faith and not by sight. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. So the greatest thing I can leave you with today is don't you grow weary in well-doing. Start watching what you say. Start speaking to the mountain. What do you say to the mountain? Oh my God, you're so big. What did Goliath, Goliath was hurling insults at David and David didn't say, look how big he is.
He's just so big. No, he started speaking back to him. He said, you uncircumcised Philistine. Today, he's scared out of his mind. Today, I will feed your flesh to the fowls of the air. He's saying what he wants to happen in his life. So you start saying, I'm out of debt, my needs are met, I got plenty more to put up in store. I'm blessed coming in, I'm blessed going out and everything my hand touches turns to good. If there's a healing out there to be had and there is, I got it. I don't have to get my healing. Jesus got it for me 2000 years ago. My faith has made me whole. Somebody ought to put an amen on this right now. These signs are gonna follow me all the days of my life. I want you to stand with me today and I want to pray for you as we wrap this up today. I want to pray that God would just move in and out every row, up and down every aisle. And I want to prophesy over you. I don't want you to move it around just yet. I want you to receive this, stretch it out for a second, but just receive what God has for you. I want to speak over you for your preferred future. God, I pray right now in the name above all names, the name of Jesus, that this demonic activity of discouragement, feeling like they're less than,
thinking that they're not going to get the house paid off, that they're not gonna get the loan, that the debt's gonna continue to haunt them, that the marriage isn't gonna work, that the kids are gonna go the wrong direction. God, we've been focusing on the wrong thing. Today, we focus our mind back on the right thing, upon your word. I rebuke Satan and his power over them and I say they'll never be the same again. I break it, I hear like chains breaking in the spirit right now. Those chains of limiting beliefs that have kept you back, those neurons that fired together and wired together in the wrong direction, thinking that's the way you were born, that's the way you are. No, no, those are the enemy's lies, never lies. It's never gonna happen. Speak to that right now. I say that they're free and they'll never be the same again. God, we prophesy over History Makers Church, over the people that serve here. People got here early and loaded in and loaded out. Now, the people in the church, they're gonna start even saying, I wanna come be a part of that team. This isn't just a team where we go to church and say, oh, that's some big church. No, we're a church plan.
We're history makers. It takes all of us together to do this. God, put a fire in some of the people that for the last few weeks knew, man, I didn't even realize how bad I miss this church. God, that they would realize how important it is for other people in this community. I prophesy over our building. I see it right now. I thank you, God, that we have a great big parking lot. Look at me just for one minute. I'm still praying, but I want you to look at me just for a second. When my dad passed away 20 years ago, we had a church of 180 people, but we didn't know about that many people. That church went from 200 to 2,000 in two years and then thousands and thousands more and just loads and loads of campuses. And what I would say is every Sunday I would get up and God began to speak to me because we were doing nine weekend services. Can you imagine I had to preach nine times in one building? And God spoke to me and said, I'm gonna give you another church up in the St. Charles area. It's like 30, 40 minutes away. And I started prophesying over a building that we couldn't see yet. And I was in the building every Sunday
going to a rented beer hall. I didn't even see the building to tell you the truth. I wasn't even paying attention, but right beside the building right now, there it is. And the last Thursday of 2007, the Lord walked into the room where I was at and I didn't see him, but I heard him and he said, don't wonder, don't waver, don't wait. 2008 is gonna be great. While you're wondering, wavering and waiting, people are dying going to hell up in the St. Charles area and I'm gonna give you a boat to put it in. I didn't know it, but about six months later, I got a call from the bank in St. Louis and that last Thursday of 2007, they had put a padlock on a $21 million building that had motion activated hand sanitizing, motion activating sinks, motion activated, everything was motion activated. And I walked in there and they wanted $21 million for that building. It looked insurmountable, didn't think we could do it. Guess what? With God, all things are possible. And there was a crash that hit America in 2008. We started saving a few years before that and our church had a million dollars in the bank. I don't know if you've heard of the golden rule, but the guy with the gold makes the rules. And nobody else had a million dollars
to downstroke on the building. We offered them $6.3 million and they had no other choice but to take our money. We bought that building 13 years ago and it's the biggest African-American church in the state of Missouri. Thousands of people will be there today. Come on, giving God praise today because we don't think like that. Come on, somebody. We're too blessed to think like that. We're too favored to think like that. So I said that to say this. How many of you consider this church your home? Raise your hand. Okay, look at that. If this is your church, here's what I challenge you with. I want you to carry this with the pastors, with the team. I want you to start praying for the right building. So without a vision, people perish. I always say without a vision, people go to another parish. So we wanna say it, spray it, wheel it, deal it, make them feel it. Here's what I'm believing for, and I speak over this not because I'm their, you know, guru or anything, but I pastor them a lot. They're in a group of collective pastors that I pastor, and they've given me the right to speak this over you today. And here's what I see. I see us not going into a Best Buy.
I don't see us going into some big box warehouse where we have to do a lot. I think that one of you people are gonna come to this church and say, oh, I heard that such and such church is for sale. What are we looking for? We're looking for a minimum of 500 parking spots. Come on, somebody ought to help me. We're looking for a minimum of 1,000 seats. Come on, somebody ought to help me right now. We're looking for a kitchen. We're looking for kids' rooms. We're looking for something that the carpeting's messed up, but we're gonna raise the money and get our own carpet. Who's going with me on this? We're looking for something we can paint up and fix up, but I prophesy to you right now, get it on video. Maybe it's in 2027, maybe it's in 2028, I don't know, but it's coming soon, but to know what we're looking for. So let's pray to that avail right now. Emma, you come up here. Terrence, come up here. And I want everybody to stretch your hands toward our pastors today. God, we prophesy right now over Terrence and over Emma. These are our pastors today. At this nine o'clock rowdy service today, we say, God, first of all, we're grateful. And whatever they're going through right now and the fight of faith over,
they didn't come up here and show any of that today. They came up shouting, they come up smiling, they come up pouring into people today. So we pour back into them. God, we're gonna carry the load. People that haven't been tithing, they're gonna start tithing so we can start some bank accounts to start saving. Because this church needs a million dollars or $2 million in the bank. I say that we're gonna get into this building debt-free in the name of the Lord Jesus. Somebody ought to shout amen to that. God, we are a history makers church. God, I release every ounce of faith that I have on the inside of them for buildings. And I say they'll know it. So start saying it, start seeing it, start prophesying over it. Start saying we have our own building. Our building is within five miles of this building. I'll say it again. Our building is within five miles of this building. And there might be people in it right now. The church might be praying, God, what do we do? We can't go, this place is dead. The people aren't here anymore. But God, this church can come in and make history happen there. In Jesus' name we pray and everybody say amen.
Awesome, awesome. Come on, if you believe that, would you clap your hands in this place? Clap those hands, awesome. Let me just take a moment before you move. If I could just ask you just to stay still for a moment. You know, the Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. In the beginning was the Word and the Word is with God and the Word was God. So what we're doing is we're learned today how to speak into the darkness so light can happen. In fact, the Bible says without Jesus, we're all walking in darkness. With every eye closed and every head bowed, you know, you can't have what we spoke about today because all the riches of God is in Jesus Christ. And you can't step into that blessing without having first the one who blesses, His name is Jesus. And here's what the Bible says, if you believe in your heart and confess it your mouth, you shall be saved. I know we want the success, but it starts with salvation. I know we want the strength, but it starts with salvation. And there is a Saviour, His name is Jesus. If you're here today with every eye closed and every head bowed, you've never made that decision to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. And we'd lift that hand and say,
yep, I've never accepted Him, but today I wanna say yes to Jesus. Today I'm gonna pray a prayer of salvation. And here's my question, if you want me to include you in this prayer, I'm not gonna call you down the front, I'm not gonna embarrass you, not that would be embarrassing anyway, because you're walking to the Saviour. But if you want me to include you in a prayer of salvation, to step into this relationship with the blesser who is Jesus, would you lift that hand up and say, yep, Terrence, I need this Jesus. Awesome, I see hands going up, down the back. Awesome, I see your hand, one hand, two, three, four, five, six hands, seven, eight, nine, come on, come on, let's thank God. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 hands. Awesome, awesome. I may not have seen your hand, but I want you to know God sees your heart. And so let's say this prayer together, let's say, dear God, thank you for sending Jesus to find me and forgive me. Today, I step out of the darkness. And I walk into the light with Jesus. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and make me new. In Jesus' name I am saved. Amen and amen and amen. Amen. Amen.
