How Do I Go All In With God?
No one saw you stop feeding that thought, lay down that ambition. But I want to tell you that what you do in private, God will reward in public. Your public platform is coming because you've consecrated Allah, God, to cut in private. Foundational scripture today is found in Joshua 1, Joshua 1. If you're ready for the word, clap your hands on more time in this place. 9 a.m., some of you need your cuffs. He thought I need mine, but here we go. Would you read aloud with me? Joshua 1 says, Moses, my servant is what? Man, God, you're just, you're out there. Moses, my servant is dead. Now then you, he's speaking of Joshua, because this is Joshua, chapter 1. Now you and all these people get ready to cross the river Jordan into the land that I'm about to give who the Israelites. Shout it out loud to give who the Israelites. Can I tell you, they've been in slavery for hundreds of years, and just for generations, they've been in slavery. Why? Because of idolatry and because of disobedience. Can I tell you idols and disobedience are still alive today? The anniversary says, I will give you what? I will give you every place where you set your foot. God gives you the promise, but you have to set your feet as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. And so we got to put our feet. You know, we came here in 2015 when God gave us a promise in 2014. I said, you know what, I've got to put my feet on the ground. I'm not backing down, this is holy ground. If God says, I'll give you every place you place your feet, well, where am I placed at my feet? Come on, even while you're sitting, just move those feet. Come on, lift those feet up and down. We're going to get some exercise even here in church. Verse 4 says this, your territory will extend from the desert to the desert to Lebanon.
So from the dry place, all the way to the fruitful place, Deb, Lebanon. And from the great river, the Euphrates, and some from the hit-eyed country. And God says, all these places I want to give you, I wish I had a map to show you how large this territory was. Can I tell you, some of you are not receiving territory because you're not putting a demand on God. You're not putting a demand big enough for what God wants to give you. And he said, I'm going to do it all the way to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. And everyone shout out those two words in verse 5. Verse 5 says, come on, screen's team, you've got to help the people out. Verse 5 says, no one, no one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. This is where we're testing your Christianity, actually. We want to see who knows the word. You can follow along in your Bible as well. There it is. Someone says, shout no one. No one, no one will be able to stand against you some of the days of your life. Oh no, no one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. I don't know who's standing against you, stopping you from getting that home. I don't know what enemy from heaven is stopping you having that baby. I don't know what's stopping you having that breakthrough in your mental health. But God says, no weapon formed against you. No one standing against you will be able to prosper. Because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. And he says, I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you and I will never forsake you. Verse 6 says this. It says, be strong and courageous, strong. But your strength needs something to push up against. It's going to require courage. Because you will lead these people to inherit the land that I swore to their ancestors to give them. The blessing of Abraham is not just for you. You have to lead these people. You have people that God is calling you and causing you to lead.
People are following you. Will you lead them? This is why we're taking Pine City Center in two weeks. This is why at 11 a.m. on the 11th we're going to do something. Because if you read in Hebrews 11, 11 Sarah could not do something. Abraham couldn't do something. But the Bible says by faith they conquered kingdoms. They administered justice. Someone needs what you have. Someone needs to know the God that you know. Because heaven and hell are realities. And we will do everything short of sin to make sure we can pillage hell and populate heaven. Verse 7 says it one more time. Be strong and what? Very courageous. Be careful to obey some of the law that you're serving. Oh, listen, no, no, no. Oh, do not turn from the right. Do not turn to the left. So that if you will obey what God says in his word, you will be what? Successful wherever you go. But you've got to move your feet. Someone move your feet. Come on, move those feet. How do you say it in Spanish? Andartu, andas. P.Ls, I don't know how you say it, but say it in Creole II, say it in every language. Verse 8 says, "Keep this book of the law always on your what?" Lips meditate on it just at night.
Oh, day and night. So that you may be careful to do everything that's written in it. Why do you need to be careful? Because there is a reward for obedience. And here's the reward of obedience. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Anyone want that prosperity? Anyone want to be successful in God's eyes, not the world eyes. I do. That is Joshua one. Now we go to Joshua two. Is it okay to read the Bible in church? Here we go. Then Joshua's son of none. Secretly, because God has gave them a promise now. Come on, lift those feet, move those feet. All right, I need to hear it. Some of you are lifting your tippy toes like you're a princess. Come on, you better stomp those feet. All right, Joshua's son of none secretly sent two spies. Come on, read it out. Sent two spies from where? I can't say it in church, but you did. Sent two spies from Chateem and said, what's this? Go look over the land he said, especially Jericho. Now you've got to understand, Jericho is a fortified city. Screen teams, if we can find a map that shows Jericho and all the land for the next service, let's do it.
It's a fortified city, it's a strategic city. There are strategic cities in America. Los Angeles is one of them. New York is one of them, Miami is one of them. Miami is where trade, this is where people come from South America. People come from the West Indies, like my family, looking for heaven on earth. It is a gateway city to the American dream, a strategic city. And this is what Jericho was, a strategic city. It was fortified, there were strong holes. And so they went and entered into where? The house of a... Ha? Ha? God, you're spying out of land, you send two men, and they end up at a brothel. They end up at a nightclub. Why are they in Rahab's house, and why did they stay there? We'll find out. Let's go to Joshua 3. Joshua 3 says, early in the morning, not late early. I love the immediacy, there's no hesitation to obey. Joshua and all the Israelites, come on, it's not just about you, the blessing, it's for those around you. Do not go alone. Don't go alone, amen. They left from this place called Chateem, and they went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. I don't like camping. I don't even do glamping. I don't like sleeping under all the stars. I just do five stars. That's me.
I'm bougie. I don't care. Shut up. I couldn't do that camping. But they did. First who says, after three days, the officers went through the camp, giving orders to the people, when you see what? The ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, so God's presence, that's what it represents, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you've got to carry, you've got to move out from your positions and follow it. Follow God. Don't follow man. Follow those who follow me as I follow Christ. Verse 4 says, "Then you will know which way to go." The reason why some of you don't know where to go, because you're following your own instincts, you're following your own will, you're following your own ways, and God says, "Not your ways, but my ways. Not your will, but my will." We've got to learn how to submit and consecrate. Then you'll know which way to go. Keep a distance of about 2,000 qubits between you and the ark. Don't go near it. Joshua told the people. Here's where we're learning. Joshua told the people, "Consecrate yourselves." Consecrate who? You consecrate today, and God says, "Tomorrow, I, the Lord, will do amazing things through you." It's my job to consecrate. It's God's job to help me cross.
If you consecrate today, tomorrow, God said, "I'll help you cross." We consecrated as a church a little while ago, and tomorrow is today. Clap your hands if you know you're crossing into what God has for you. Here's a title of my message. God's going to catch you, but let him. [BLANK_AUDIO] Isn't that an encouraging title? I really enjoyed thinking of that one. I got a second title, I'll tell you later, because you gotta consecrate. Consecrate means cutting away of some things so that you can cross. If you don't consecrate, you won't cross. And so here's the big idea, write this down for those taking notes and for those who are real Christians. Write this down. Consecration is not just an event. Consecration is a lifestyle. Say it again, I will. Consecration is not just an event. Consecration is a lifestyle. Here's where we're gonna go today. There's gonna be seven movements I'm gonna do. And it's not necessarily points to this message, but I need you to get a mind map of how God leads you out and into where he's going. So if we can put that mind map like this. So consecration, it starts like this. If you consecrate today, you will cross tomorrow. So because God cannot lead an unconsecrated people
into a consecrated place. Jericho was a promised strategic city. If you put an unprepared people in a prepared place, soon the prepared place will look like the unprepared people. You ever seen people get a house? They weren't ready for them? All right, watch this. So after the crossing though, here's what I've realized is I kept reading. Once you cross, God says, I'm gonna cut you. There was a cutting, the Bible says, and we're gonna read in just a moment, that as they crossed over, so they've crossed over Jordan, they're out of the wilderness, but they get close to the promised land, a place called Gilgal. Before they go and take the city, God says to Joshua to do what? Ooh, circumcise. Not the babies, the men, all the men make some noise. Ooh, so there is a cutting, and watch this, you will never conquer unless you allow God to cut. Conquer, let's put it up. Watch this because if you don't cut away some things, those things will cut you away from God. So you gotta carry some things as well. Let's swap it in the next service. I sent it to you wrong. Now watch this, the Bible says, carry the ark of the covenant,
carry the trumpet, God cuts away so you can now hold something you need to hold, so you can conquer, and conquering is all about something that you're not meant to do by yourself, because God says if you do the resolve, I'll bring the resolve. So it's a co-mission, someone say co-mission, because you can't do this alone. Not sure what those words are, but you got a co-mission, and then it's all about making sure that Christ is the one that it's all about. We wanna see people become like Christ. So here's where we're going. Take a picture of that, get it in your mind, and you're gonna help me have to help me preach this, because it's good. Today I'm showing you what and how God wants to do something in you, and then next week I'm gonna show you how he does this, because if you don't let God cut, you won't conquer. Listen, God's gonna cut you, let him. When I was playing soccer, my knee was dislocated, and I had to go to the doctor, a surgeon, and the surgeon cut me. He didn't cut me 'cause he hated me. He cut me because he wanted to help me heal. He had to go in there and do ligaments and tendons. Not everyone who cuts you is hurting you. Either way you're gonna get cut.
You either let the devil cut you, or you're gonna let God, the great surgeon, cut you. The Bible says it like this. You will not bear fruit unless you allow God to prune you. God's pruning some things in your life. And so, quick little Bible trivia, I got $200 here. I'm gonna give $200 to anyone who can tell me if you know who this name is, this name. Now you can put it up. If you know this person in the Bible, I'll give you $200. But don't lie, and get off-court and chat to your BT. All right, no one knows the next name, next name. Keep, just fire them through. Anyone knows Ego? You do not, Jules, shut up. Come on, next one. Come on, (speaks in foreign language) and a number there here. So, anyone know Palti? Anyone know Palti? Man, this church, I got no Bible strength. And all you people, holy go save you. You don't know any of these, all right, next name. Gaddiel, I have $200 for you church. My Lord, what we need, what next name? Gaddie. - I'm a spy. - Oh, listen, listen, listen. You don't know who they are. You know why you don't know who they are?
Look at me, look at me, look at me. Because these are the 10 spies who were sent into, oh no, you got it in here 'cause someone shouted out, but listen, I'm keeping my money. I've got four kids, all right, they're expensive. I can't lose this money and my wife can be mad at me. Listen to this, listen to this. These are the 10 spies who made a decision. Moses had sent 12 spies into land. I read the point where Joshua sent two spies to check out the land, that's in Joshua chapter one. Rewind to numbers 14, and this is where Moses had the first promise, and he sent 10 spies into the land, and let's read it in numbers, watch this. That night, all the members of the community raised their voices and wept the loud. Listen to all Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, "If only we had died in Egypt in the wilderness." Verse three, "Why is the Lord bringing us to this land "only to let us fall by the sword, our wives, "and the children will be taken by plunder." Now watch this, wouldn't it be better for us to go back to where? Listen to me, Moses sent people to spy out the land. How many spies did he send? 12, 10 of them said what? "There are giants, we can't go in." Two of them said, "There are giants, "but they're large grapes, it's a land flow
"of milk and honey, we can take the giants." 10 main made a decision that caused 2 million people to live with the consequence. You don't know their name, but you felt their pain. Your doubt may not just cause someone's delay, it may cause their destruction. (congregation laughs) Consecration is not an event, it's a lifestyle. Please do not let your doubt become someone else's detour from the promised land. If you don't have faith, (speaks in foreign language) God had to shut the mouth off. Was it John the Baptist or was it husband, dad, the dad? The other one, see some of you know your Bible, fantastic. All right, Zachariah. Listen, this is so important, because if you go back to that scripture, this is the part that perplexed me. I'm reading this scripture, God sends in the promised land, and 10 spies convinced 2 million people, and here's what they convinced them. Now, I don't know if you know anything about slavery, but there is sex trafficking that happens in our world, and we call it sex slavery. You know why? Because when you're in slavery, you know what happened to Moses. Pharaoh put out an edict to kill every single child on the age of how old, of two. So they said, because of the report of 10 spies,
hey listen, it's a fight. I would rather go back to Egypt where they're taking baby boys and killing them. I would rather go back to Egypt where they're taking our daughters and doing the most atrocious things that cannot be mentioned. I'd rather go back to Egypt where they take boys and they dismember part of their genitalia, which they still do today's sex transition. But they're doing that to little boys, and it's what's the Bible called a unique. Now, I'm not trying to be graphic for shock factor. I'm trying to get you to understand what in hell happened, 'cause it was from hell, that you would let 10 people tell you that it's better to go back to that than to fight. Don't let resistance cause you to retreat. I am speaking you today because God said, there are my people who are giving up on the promises of God because it got a little bit hard. And this is the crazy thing. They would rather go back than to go forward with God. I wanna help you today not to go back. I don't know if, what's the next verse there we have, Anna? They say to you, "We should choose a leader "and go back to Egypt." Can I tell you, decisions made today will determine the destiny you live out for decades. Write that down.
Decisions you make today will determine the destiny you live out for decades. Some of us have settled with a breakthrough. We've gotten through the Red Sea out of slavery and we've settled in the wilderness. And the wilderness isn't that bad because God has dropped in Chick-fil-A every day. Like, he's got manner from heaven but it doesn't last the next day. So they got just enough. But God has more than enough. So we think if I just could get across, and here's why I'm saying is because some of you think if I just get through this season, if I just get through it, if I just get the job, if I just get married, If I could just get these kids, you're praying to be broke. That's why I need my money. If I could just get healed, if I'd just get the house, if I'd just get the building, come on God, give us this building, history of making a church, you think then you would have made it. But as you read Joshua, you realize that Jericho, the Jordan was never the destination just to consecrate to cross. The crossing was a miracle, but the crossing was not the mission. God had more. The promise isn't the prize. It's who you become in pursuit of the prize. It's allowed God to walk with you.
God got him out of Egypt, but he had to get Egypt out of them. And then he had to get his spirit in them so that they could cross. The promised land, here's my point, was not something that God wanted them just to enter. God wanted them to occupy. Someone shout out, "Occupy." See, we didn't come from Australia just to take part. We came from Australia to take over for the kingdom of God and rebuke every demon and every devil that stands in the way of the purposes and promises of God. This is why we pray your kingdom come, your will be where, as it is in. So Joshua says, "Tell the people, consecrate yourselves." So listen to me, they got cities to possess, they got battles to fight, walls had to fall. Why? Because there were people waiting on the other side of those walls. So listen, consecration gets you across. Can you imagine? 40 years of wandering in a wilderness, 40 years of believing for this promised land. And they finally get across, we're here. Well, watch this, you can be in the promise without actually possessing the promises. You can be in a promised land without actually fully possessing all the promises
that God has to you. Someone say there's more. God just doesn't want you to enter. He wants you to occupy in the land. Don't settle, don't celebrate yesterday's crossing because God's pointing to tomorrow's conquering. It's not just a crossing, it's a, as God says, I want to move you from glory to glory and strength to strength. God has more. Now listen, cutting prepares you to conquer. Here's the second one I need to understand this. Cutting prepares you to conquer. Here's verse five. Joshua chapter five verse four says, now this is why he did so. All those who came out of Egypt, all the men who were military age, 20 years and above that is, died in the wilderness on the way after leaving Egypt. And all the people that came out had been circumcised. They had a cutting away. But all the people born in the wilderness, 'cause they were there for 40 years because of unbelief. During the journey that Egypt had not been circumcised, so 50 verse six says this. The Israelites moved about the wilderness for how many years? 40 years. Until all the men of military age
when they left Egypt had actually died since they had not obeyed the Lord. For the Lord had sworn to them that they would not see the land that he had solemnly promised to their ancestors to give them a land flowing with milk and honey. They were, they had moved about the wilderness for 40 years. How many years? Oh, time. It's interesting the timing because when Moses sent the spies to spy out the land, do you know how many days they spied out the land? 40 days. 40 days they checked, has it got land, has it got vineyards, has it got houses, has it got all this stuff? 40 days they spent in there, they came back and told Moses and these 10 spies convinced them not to go in and here's what God says for every day of disobedience for 40 days, guess how long they spelt in the wilderness? 40 years. Can I tell you one day of disobedience could cost you a whole year of your life? On the contrary, one day of obedience could actually bless you for a whole year of your life. And so this is where it gets really interesting. If I'm preparing for war, I don't want God to, I don't want to be circumcised, Joshua,
'cause if you're preparing for war, what are you looking for? You're looking for a sword? Come on, what are you bringing? A bazooka, a what? A gun? I got two right here. You're bringing, you're training the soldiers. I'm probably studying Jericho. I'm like, who's an engineer? Who can help me? Where is the weak spot in the wall if we hit it? The walls are going to fall. But God says, don't do that. I need you to cut. Someone say cut. You will not conquer if you don't cut. Because there are some things that you, if they don't die in the wilderness, they're going to kill you in the promised land. There are some things God's got to cut away. I don't know if it's unbelief or if it's pride or it's greed that when you hear the offering on Sunday, you're like, oh, don't, you can have everything God, don't touch my money. I don't know what needs to die, it's a relationship. Some of you need to cut off that relationship, that booty call needs to go. Some of you some attitudes, some thought patterns need to die, because if you're going to go where God's taking you,
that can't come with you. What is God saying needs to go? What needs to cut? Now look at me, God's not talking about what your wife needs to cut. God's not saying what your husband needs to cut. God's saying what do I need to cut in you? Because something needs to die in you now or it's going to kill you in the wilderness. I was telling our staff team this the other day, we had a staff meeting, we moved to the middle of HQ versus the boardroom because we're growing and expanding. And I walked in and they had all these fun chairs, they had a couch here and right next to the pulpit, they had two very nice chairs. And as I walked in, I'm like, they got the nice chairs, then it was the hard chairs and someone else was sitting in the nice chairs and you know what went in my head? Do they not know who I am? It's embarrassing to say it in my head, I didn't say that loud, I'm like, where's the honor? I mean, couldn't you leave the nice chairs for me and Pastor Emma? I mean, and God said, Terrence, if you're going to conquer, you better cut that pride before that pride cuts you down. Saul's own suicide was that he became haughty in his own eyes. Now I'm telling you my business,
but what does God have to cut in you? It might be your anger. You get so angry, everyone's, it might be your complaining. It might be the laziness that needs to be cut in you. Not everything that God asked you to cut is necessarily evil. It's just something that's competing with allegiance for him to be Lord over your life. What is God asking you to cut? Can I tell you some of the most important things that need to be cut? Watch this, they're actually hidden. Circumcision, you can't see that. You know, dual point of this out when I was doing a Bible study with our staff, she said, isn't it interesting that God asked them to cut something that others would not see? Sometimes people see it. You remember when David goes to the battlefield and everyone else was scared of Goliath and David, little 16-year-old walks up like this. Hey boys. Who is that, who is that uncircumcised Philistine? I mean, this guy's nine-foot tall. He saw something that made him know this guy was uncircumcised. And he, that's funny, isn't it? It's a little too much. I'm sorry, someone walked out already. Some hope someone caught them as they left.
I know I'm unterritory, but I need you to understand that an unconsecrated and uncircumcised people cannot step into territory that God has for you. And you've got to get something cut out of your life. It's private circumcision, it's intimate, it's between them and God. Can I tell you, no one will see or applaud the number that you deleted from your phone. But God sees. No one will see how you closed your browser and blocked your ability to see those websites. No one will see that you forgave them, but God sees it. No one sees that you apologized, but God sees. Some of you need to forgive that person and no one will know, but God knows. No one saw you get up early and pray, but God saw. No one saw you stop feeding that thought, lay down that ambition. But I wanna tell you that what you do in private, God will reward in public. Your public platform is coming because you've consecrated and allowed God to cut in private. You know, Jasmine said the first time she got the microphone was not on this stage. It was when she was leading a bunch of little teenage preteen girls at an ice cream shop over in Pembroke Falls. Gardens, wherever it is. See, what you do in private will prepare you for what God wants to do in public. But also what you refuse to cut privately
will destroy you publicly. What does God need to cut? As I'm looking at my weight loss journey over the 20 days I was doing a Daniel fast, as I'm looking at my weight and looking at my BMI, I noticed the number that kept on reducing and it was called visceral fat. Visceral fat, watch this, is not the one you see. It's the fat around the organs. That's the one that kills you and makes you die before your time. What God wants to cut, no one would see, but if you don't allow God to cut it, it's the very thing that will stop you from stepping into your destiny. Cut it away. Someone say cut it away, keep it away. You're saying God, 'cause some things will grow back. You know, Samson cut his hair and it grew back, his strength will go back. But some of the things, the weeds you cut, they will grow back. So today my life belongs to you, God. I'm saying tomorrow my life belongs to you. Wednesday my life belongs to you. Thursday my every day, keep cutting it away. Daily seek the Lord. So my question is why would God make them vulnerable before the battle and cut them? Why would he cut them there?
Not in the wilderness where they're safe, but they've crossed the Jordan and they're in enemy territory. God, why cut them now? Because now I'm exposed. I am vulnerable. And I think one of the reasons God cut them because God allowed them to feel weaker before the battle. God, I feel exposed before I'm about to advance in this thing. And God I believe is saying that if you go in your own strength, then you think you're gonna win this battle because you are strong. But God says the battles that I've caused you to fight is not because you are strong, it's because I am strong says the Lord. And here's his promise, my strength is made perfect in your weakness. God is saying I need you to rely on me for this one. Cut away what you think you can do. And God, Saul said, David, take my armor. He says, I can't take that. I've got to use what God has given me. I've got five smooth stone. No one's gonna get the glory, but me says God. You've got to cut to conquer. Can I tell you, move your feet? The walls don't fall unless you walk. Joshua 66 says this, now the gates of Jericho, they were securely barred because of the Israelites. So watch this, God has got them through the Red Sea.
God has got them through the River Jordan. And the people over here in the promised land have heard about all God's doing through his people. And the Bible says they fortified the city even more. They locked up the gates, not because of anything else, but because of the Israelites. They've heard that there's a God who's fighting for me, pushing back the darkness in my life. You need to know this is what God is doing in your life. And then the Lord said to Joshua, see I have delivered Jericho into your hands. See I have blessed you with that home. See I've blessed you with that job. See I've blessed you with that partner. God says, along with his fighting, man, I'm giving you everything. And I need you to do this. March, someone move your feet. Verse three, march around the city once with all the amen and do this for six days. Come on, you got to march. Move those feet, you got to march. Don't just do it once, God, nothing's happened. God says do it a second time. You got to march. Yeah. March, come on. I got here. Walked around Jericho seven times. The walls came down the seventh time.
And we walked, and we walked. Yes, the walls must fall. Walked around Jericho seven times. The walls came down the seventh time. Yeah, yeah. Set the walls. Yes, the walls. The walls must fall. Walked around Jericho. The walls came down. Set, we walked. We walked. We walked. We walked. And the walls. Walked around Jericho. Seven times. Yeah, yeah. The walls came down. And on the seventh time. Why? Because we walked. Because we walked. And now the walls must walk around Jericho. Seven times. The walls came down. And on the seventh time. What? Because we walked. We walked.
We walked. And the walls must fall. Walked around Jericho seven times. Yeah, yeah. The walls came down on the seventh time. Because we walked. We walked. We walked. We walked. The walls. What? We walked around Jericho seven times. The walls came down on the seventh time. Yeah, because we walked. We walked. We walked. We walked. We walked. And the walls must fall. Walked around Jericho seven times. The walls came down on the seventh time. We walked. We walked. We walked. We walked. And the walls must fall. I don't know what walls need to come down in your marriage. Because if the walls don't fall, you're about to get a divorce. If the walls don't fall, they'll separate you from God's promises you're about to give up and you're going back to slavery and God says you can't retreat.
You can't go back Matthew. God, what's your strategy? Walk? No, no, I need a sort. God, he says, "Walk." Someone say, "Walk." I need to climb the walls. God says, "No, no, walk. Walk." You want us to attack? No. Walk. Does he sound familiar? For Daniel it was, "Make a resolve." God says, "I'll bring the result." You just walk, and this is my second title. If you don't walk, the walls don't fall. Your part may look small, but your part matters. If the priests don't carry, you priest here, if you don't carry the presence of God, then God does not show up. And although I'm walking, God ain't working, 'cause I'm doing this in my own strength, there has to be a cutting. But as well as the cutting, let's put it up there, that screen, don't build it, just put it all up there. We've got to just not just cut, but we've got to carry. You've got to carry something into this battle. And here's your weapon, it is. You're carrying the presence of God, and you're carrying a trumpet. Open it up, I'm always going to use it, but open that thing up and show me. Because you're carrying his presence. Next week I'm going to show you, Alisa, you don't even know that you preached my message
last week already, because I'm going to show you how to use three things to be able to take down the enemy of your life. You've got to find your place, and you've got to get to this place where you've got a song in your spirit. God, I need to kick down walls. No, no, he says, you just praise. You just blow that trumpet. You just make a trumpet sound, because the elders, the creatures, they all gonna cry out. If you don't cry out, the rocks will cry out. God says you need to praise in your spirit. Come on, you need to start praising. I know the Mary's don't look good yet, but you praise him. I know you haven't got the breakthrough yet. You didn't get the promotion, but you praise him anyway. Alignment matters. I need you guys to be in alignment with me, and I need you to be in alignment with me, and I need to be in alignment with God. Because if I'm walking around these walls, and some bright spark says, hey, you don't know who I am, I can play this trumpet, and do all these... What is that noise? You are 250 of the people down back. God did not say play the trumpet. He said, walk, don't shout yet, don't play yet.
And you've just broken down the element of surprise, because you tried to do it in your own strength. You and your old selfish. You and your old, I'm better than you. You and your own my will. He put down that fruit. God said, don't touch it. I need you consecrated. God's gonna cut you. You gotta carry some stuff. But don't not listen to the 10 spies. Look at me. The 10 spies are still alive today. Oh yeah, they're still alive. And they're saying, you know what? Dodge City Center. No, they say, I'm busy right now. I'll do a group when I got time. Hey, listen, if you don't walk, the walls don't fall. God's counting on you. The harvest is plentiful, but the work is a few. Can I tell you, sometimes unbelief sounds like wisdom. Oh, we're just not ready for that. Oh, I'll lead a group at the one time. When my life settles down, I'll do it. If you do that, you're gonna end up going back into slavery in Egypt when God has a promised land for you. We don't retreat with persistence. But here's what it says, numbers 14, 24.
It says, my Caleb, my servant, he was one of the two. You heard a Caleb before? Yeah, you heard of Joshua? Yeah, these are the two spies out of the 12 that said. And here's what that was different about them. Verse 24 says, but because my servant Caleb, Joel, we might even do a four week series on this. Caleb has a, what? Caleb has a, shout it out to your microphones. Caleb has a-- Different spirit. Different spirit. Come on, Caleb. And he follows me wholeheartedly. He will walk when I say walk. He will shut up when I say shut up. He trusts me because I'm trustworthy, says God. And because you follow me, I will bring him into the land and his descendants will inherit it. I'm gonna show you one last thing, numbers 14, 34. Let's fast forward to verse 34. God says, none of you people will enter for 40 years, one year for each of the 40 days you explored the land. God says, you will suffer for your sins and what it's like to have me against you as your enemy. disobedience, what could be the reward for obedience? I've told you as a church during the 40 days that I went on in October, November of 2014 guest, I went on a 40-day fast, no food, no bermida, no tres les ces, no parm nonada. And do those 40 days God gave me the blueprint I said for the next 40 years. You thought it was just something cute.
Go back to the scripture, it's biblical. God says there is consequences for disobedience, but there is also, can I tell you, disobedience will turn days into decades. And it's not just you that suffers, Gigi, if you were disobedient, Malachi, your son, and his children, there was a whole 2 million people generation who could not go into the promised land because they didn't allow God to consecrate and to cut what needed to be cut. What it needs to be cut in your life. Why does Jericho matter? Why does Jericho matter, say? Because Jericho is a strategic city that God wants to get you into, because from that city everything else falls when Jericho falls. Walked around Jericho seven times, the walls came down on the, why? Because, because we walk, because we walk, and the walls must fall. Walked around Jericho seven times, the walls came down on the seven times. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, 'cause we walk, we walk, we walk, we walk, we walk, yeah, yeah, must fall, and that's my girl C.C. isn't it? Walls fall when you worship. Gigi, walls fall when you worship. Okay, I got to finish because listen. I said that not Moses, but Joshua sent two other spies in. And those two spies ended up where? At a prostitute's house. What are they doing at a prostitute's house? Because when all these people feared the Israelites, there was one dirty woman that we call dirty, who was a whole lot more cleaner than everyone else, because she said, "I've seen what your God can do, and I'm willing to bow down and worship this God." And the Bible says that because they walked, when the walls fell, Rahab was rescued. Why is Rahab significant? I ain't got time to show you, but in Matthew, it says, "This one begat this one."
Rahab, Boaz, begat, she married Saman, and you keep going that lineage. Guess who comes out of Rahab, the dirty prostitute? You think some people are too far gone, and God says, "They are not too far gone for my love. You are not too dirty, you are not too damaged. There is nothing that can separate you from the love of God. His promises are yes and amen. It's not predicated on what you have done. It's predicated on what he has done on Calvary 2,000 years ago. So Rahab, how does she get saved? Take that jacket off real quick, the red jacket quickly, as quickly as you can, take the jacket off and throw it to me, give it to Lisa, all right? The Bible says almost there, turn it inside the right way, Lisa, turn it inside, I want the red side. Now watch this. It says that she was on the wall, and she hung outside of the wall, what? A scarlet cord, red, you know why red? Because red is the blood of Jesus Christ. So when they went in and they destroyed every enemy of God, the fighting consecrated people, they knew, hey, don't touch this house. Someone important is in this house. Someone who is covered by the blood is in this house. I don't know if the blood of Jesus is covered in your house, but you need to make sure it's covered in your house. This is a sign to every enemy in hell, don't you dare touch that room, don't you dare touch that mind, don't you dare touch those children, don't you dare touch my business, my business is coming through, the sales is coming through, don't touch it, it's consecrated to God. I have a lab God to cut, it's consecrated. Justice, where did Rahab live? How did they see this?
Because she put it out the what, the window, where was the window? just saved hear me I'm going extra I'll put this one online but we'll shorten it for the next service is this helpful for some of you okay listen the reason why when death came in Moses's day is because they put the blood of Jesus over your life God's gonna cut you but let him cut you because if he doesn't cut you don't conquer you want me to tell you what the gospel is Jesus was cut they pierced him in the side and out of him float blood and water you see that blood that's what covers you because he was cut I can conquer this is the good news of Jesus because he was cut I can conquer I know you think just keep moving for me I keep it I know you think that God has called you to rescue Rahab listen to me you are Rahab you and I are the ones who have slipped around had idols had unbelief had pride in your heart Terrence anger in your heart that you better let go of or you know my wife was about to leave because of this anger I couldn't deal with two years into our marriage now listen you are here because two spies went into your house and if I can push the analogy and say this there are two spies who came from Australia called Terrence and Emma that God sent to tell you there is a God whose blood was shed that he was cut so you can conquer every addiction every line everything in your life it's not me and Emma listen you got saved because someone decided to play the keys play the base set this up on the pack down team put the lights up look after the kids someone decided to wave to you in the parking lot to make sure you have a place to park someone welcomed you someone was on hospitality the reason why listen the walls fell but because someone told you about this Jesus and what to put in your door every can you believe her house was on the wall but the walls fell how does her house not fall because if you build your house upon the rock the wind and the waves may come and a thousand may fall by your side and ten thousand may fall by your side but it will not touch you in Jesus man so here's where I'm gonna end this the walls fell because someone walked you got saved because someone walked you didn't leave the marriage because someone else walked before you what will you do with that we have a
team fair outside and I'm telling you how selfish off you to have someone else walk through hardship walk through discomfort walk through pain Jesus Christ of Nazareth is his name but there are others because they walked walls fell I don't know about you but I asked our staff to him said jewel is anyone in your life that needs to be saved still she says yes my husband LaShawn no I'm just joking my kids I asked Robert is anyone else in your family who needs saving and salvation yes I'm telling you I got a sister in Jamaica she needs is Jesus but if I don't walk the walls will not fall in her life look at me you have one step to take move those feet stand up move those feet just in on the spot but if you just do this and sitting one spot nothing happens as you walk out today I need you to find a team because we need a team to rescue Ray Habs there are other Ray Habs that will be in the lineage of Jesus you've got sons you've got daughters there are people here in South Florida that need you to put your hand to the plow to pick up your trumpet and be in alignment with what God is doing I want every one of you men serving at daughters conference there is a miracle attached to your walking and so you're about to walk out of here and hear what I'm gonna do a real simple prayer if you've never received the free gift of salvation where Jesus was caught and his blood was spilled over your life every eye closed every head bowed if you've never I'm going to pray over you that prayer of salvation and if you're like pastor I need this Jesus, he's so good I need to be covered by his blood. If you've never prayed a prayer of salvation or you're once did and you walked away like the 10 spies, it's time to come back and you need to do it with faith. So let them hand up and say yep, Terrence, include me in the prayer, hands going up all across this room, I see your hand, one hand, two hands, three hands, four hands, five, six, seven, eight. Come on put those hands up and nine hands, okay let's all say this together in agreement say, do you God? Thank you for sending Jesus to find me and forgive me. Today I repent for my unbelief and I follow you. Cut away everything, that's not of you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, come on every voice, fill me with your Holy Spirit and make me new. Today I am saved and safe on the rock Jesus in Jesus name, amen and amen and amen. Hey, if you prayed that prayer, listen to me, I'm so proud of you, this is why we do it. This is why we put on church so you can meet Jesus.
Everyone march your feet, I'm releasing you right now, please go and find somewhere you can go up because if you don't walk, the walls don't fall. We love you, we'll see you next week. Please ask someone, can I walk with you, can I help you find a place where you can make a difference?
