Ignore Your Inner Judas
This week, Legacy Church welcomes guest speaker Pastor Tim Ross as he continues our series, “Get Rich or Die Trying.”
Pastor Tim brings a powerful message titled “Ignore Your Inner Judas,” based on John 12:1–8.
Sometimes the greatest thing standing between us and what God has for our lives is the voice within us telling us to doubt, hold back, or walk away from faith. Just as Judas questioned the value of Mary’s worship, we can sometimes allow our own “inner Judas” to pull us away from trusting God.
This message challenges us to silence the voices of doubt and choose faith in what God is doing in our lives.
but we've been quoting this every Sunday since January and it's just a reminder of what the blood of Jesus speaks and calls us to come on say it with your chest therefore I a prisoner for serving the Lord beg you to lead a lie worthy of your calling for you have been you've been called by God tell the next person tell the person next to you Jesus is calling you no make it more real say the blood of Jesus is calling you the blood of Jesus is calling you and it speaks a better word over your life no matter what you've been called no matter what you called yourself it all has to bow it all has to submit to what the Creator the Savior the Lord is calling I could have said in worship all day I'm not gonna lie I could have just worshiped and worshiped and worshiped but I felt part of me always tempted to do it but I felt you know it I would be a little selfish because I've been in church on what I've been loving I'm going back to when I was a kid I'm just staying here so I've been here so I already know how good the word is so I was like I already got it I'm good so let's just worship but I recognize that there's still be more that God is calling and he wants to speak to you directly and it's not just through song it's through scripture and I am so grateful for the gift that is going to communicate the scriptures of God to us this morning he is a best-selling author he leads a phenomenal movement not even just a ministry it's a movement that is changing the world he has a podcast that has countless listeners all over the world but I said all that first because that's not the best part that's probably the part he cares about least the part that is most impressive is that he is a loving and faithful husband I spent one day with him I was like I gotta be better I gotta be better he's a intentional father right before he preached I'm listening them give a voice Texas to his son just speaking life and encourage I'm like now I got to be a better dad - not it's not enough pressure to just make me want to be a better preacher I got to be a better father I gotta be a better husband I'm just grateful for men and women in the body that help make you more like Jesus anybody else grateful for that and I believe that after today you're gonna look you're gonna have to fight not to be a little bit more like Jesus because of the gift that he's gonna use

I'm so grateful that you're all here and I hope you came expecting a word from God This message is very introspective you're gonna have to see yourself you're gonna have to Answer some questions for yourself, but how many of you all know a good word will challenge you and stretch you Beyond what you thought your limitations were your restrictions were your boundaries were and so Augustible according to Saint John chapter number 12. I'm reading from the tree of life Version of the Bible. It might be a little different than yours, but I promise We're gonna get the same point Everybody has a statement Hey Six days before Passover Yeshua came to Bethany where Lazarus was whom Yeshua had raised from the dead so they prepared a dinner there for Yeshua Martha was serving and Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with him Then Miriam who we also called Mary Miriam took a pound of very expensive oil of pure nard and anointed Yeshua's feet and She wiped his feet dry with her hair Now the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil
But Judah from Create one of his disciples the one who was about to betray him chill John Said why wasn't this oil sold for 300 denari and the money given to the poor Now he said it's not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief chill John John dry snitching like we did not ask for all those details, sir Since he had the money box he used to steal from what was put in it. I mean John We get it. You don't like them fine Therefore Yeshua said leave her alone She said it aside for the day of my burial you will always have the poor among you But you will not always have me If you're taking notes on this message, it is my assignment to preach from the subject in this series get rich or die trying Ignore your inner Judas Ignore your inner Judas You might be thinking that's I don't have a Judas. I might have a Peter Sometimes I might have a Thomas, but I don't there's no Judas in me. Oh for sure Every single one of us has a Judas on the inside of us that we have to ignore By your head's close your eyes. Let's pray before we get into the world. Shall we Holy Spirit help us to ignore our inner Judas? Hey, man I pray quick, just so everybody knows. I'm the one you won over for Thanksgiving dinner. We will pray for the nations later. We're going to eat this turkey now. Book of John, chapter number 12 is an incredibly animated and vibrant scene that plays out in the theater of my imagination. When I read the Bible, I'm actually watching it. I see everything in pictures. I see everything in 4K.
I get images of everything that I read. And so I remember giving my life to Jesus, January 14th of 1996, starting to read the Bible, January 15th of 1996. And it was like a pop-up book. I mean, if you really read the Bible, the way it was intended to be read and experienced. You could cancel Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV, because the Bible has it all. Everything from G to rated M for mature, and even Triple X. Everything you ever want to see and read is in the Bible. It's dramatic. It's theatrical. It's humorous. It's violent. It's bloody. I know we sung about the blood, but that Old Testament, they were shedding some different blood. And so when I read and see this text and see the nuances that are going on at the house of Lazarus, Miriam, and Martha, there are just some things that cannot be ignored. Beyond what we just read on the pages, allow me to describe this theme. Miriam, Lazarus, and Martha have Jesus in their house. Jesus is at the house of Miriam, Lazarus, and Martha. And he is not there to run a crusade. He is not there for a revival to break out. They've brought no one over that has leperous skin. There's no one death that enters the room, so he can open up their ears.
There's no blind people that have entered the room, so he can open up their eyes. There's no lame people. There's no crippled among them that he's bringing them in for. Jesus is simply in the house of Miriam, Lazarus, and Martha because those are his friends. I'm grateful for the Jesus that can show up and do miracles, but I love the presence of Jesus that just shows up because we are friends. I want to have a friend in Jesus. I don't just want to have a Savior and a Lord. I want to have somebody that I have a deep, lasting friendship with. He's not there for miracles. He's not there to perform. He's literally at the house to just be. And they're just doing what should be done in the evening eating dinner. Regular, regular day. Nothing going on. Who's at the house? Jesus? Jesus at your house? What y'all doing? Y'all having a Bible study? No. Is he healing people? No. Is he teaching? No.
He must be preaching. No. What is he doing? Eating some lamb? The lamb, eating lamb? He's in Jordan. He eats lamb. They're all in this house. They are relaxing and we know Jesus is indeed the most important person in the room. But on this day, I submit to you, ladies and gentlemen, that he is not the most interesting man in the room. At all times, on any given time, if Jesus is in the room, he will always be the most important person in the room. But on this day, on the text that we just read, the verses that we just covered, he is not the most interesting person in the room. Lazarus is the most interesting person in this room on this day. And I'm going to tell you what, Scripture says that Lazarus is at the dinner table. Recline though. [BLANK_AUDIO] olives in his mouth. And this would be a regular, secular day on any other day to have Miriam, Martha, Jesus and Lazarus having a meal in their home, but not on today, not in the sequence of this Scripture because in John chapter number 12, Lazarus is sitting at the dinner table. And in John chapter number 11, Lazarus was dead. He wasn't sick. He wasn't dying. He was dead. He wasn't one day dead. He wasn't two day dead. He wasn't three day dead.
He was four days dead. Let me tell you how dead that is. Lazarus was so dead that Rickamortis had come and gone through his body. Lazarus was so dead that decomposition had already started in his body. Lazarus was so dead that when Jesus showed up, his sister said, "It's too late. He stinks." I would get him up if the problem was fresh. I would ask for a resurrection if my problem still had a little texture to it, but he's not one day dead or two day dead or three days dead. He is four days dead, so forget about it. We know he will be resurrected at the last day. Jesus just happens to look at them and be like, "Oh, poor girls. Y'all don't even understand how I work. You think 'cause I showed up at the time I showed up that I'm late?" But you must have forgotten that I don't do resurrections. Please don't get my personality twisted. I don't just do stuff I am. Notice nothing came after that. He is the great I am, so I don't do resurrections. I am resurrection. So I'm late on your watch. I'm on time on mine. Whenever I show up, it's on time. He says, "Where did you bury him?" And they said, "Over there." He said, "Roll away the stone." They was like, "No, he stinks." I would have been good if you came on day one. I would have been good if you came on day two, day three, maybe, but day four, he's putrefrying.
He has enzymes in his intestines that have already started to discharge and bloat and eat their way out of his skin. This is not what we want to be dealing with, right then. Jesus said, "Roll away the stone." I've heard everything that you've had to say, "Roll away the stone." And then Jesus says, "Lazarus." And nobody went in there to get him. They just rolled away the stone, and Jesus said, "Lazarus." And after, I don't know if it was several seconds or a few minutes, Scripture says that he was wrapped in grave clothes with a death napkin that was over his face. He couldn't see. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he had been called. I don't know if there's anybody in this room that knows what it feels like to be called by God, even when you were in the midst of your heartache, the midst of your depression, the midst of your dead, stinking situation. You didn't know where he was, and you couldn't even see your way out. But once you heard the voice of the Father, you said, "I don't know where you are. I don't know where I'm going, but I cannot stay where I am." I hear somebody calling me. I don't know if I got anybody in here that knows what it's like to be called by God, Will you hear his voice? So the first thriller move wasn't from Michael. It was from Lazarus and he came out of this grave and Jesus looks at him and what strongly implied in the text is that in John chapter number 11, he only came to do the thing that they couldn't do. Whatever they could do, he made them do it. You really wear the stone. I didn't put him there. You did. Whatever you have the capacity to do, I'm going to need you to do that. I partner with you, but I don't come in to take over. You know how to roll away that stone. Roll away the stone.
And then he says, lose that man and let him go. This is why you cannot abandon community. I don't care how church hurt you've been. [Applause] Because there were some people that might have wrapped you up, but you're going to need some other people to un-loose you from what you were wrapped in. You can't do that on your own and God's not going to do that for you. He puts you around people to help you get out of what other people got you into. Somebody going to join church today. You thought you just came as a little cameo appearance because somebody that you liked was preaching, no, God wants you back into community because you got some stuff that you are wrapped up in that you cannot unwrap yourself out of. Only community can get you out of that. One community hurts you. You have to have another community to heal you. You cannot heal by yourself. They unwrap Lazarus, and he's alive. And this is what makes John 12 so special. Because Lazarus is at the table eating dinner, popping olives in his mouth. And although Jesus is the most important person in the room, Lazarus is the most interesting. I would have questions for Lazarus. If I was the 13th disciple, I would be like last. Hey, bro. You really here? Which is the biggest flex that Lazarus can make for the rest of the second half of his life. Is Lazarus has a testimony that's so cold he don't need words. Lazarus's testimony is so cold. The whole community know he had been dead. The whole community knew he was buried. The whole community heard that he got up, that he was absolutely resurrected. So when Lazarus walks in the room, he ain't even got to open his mouth from where I'm from, the old school testimony service, first given out of the God who is ahead of my life and to the bishop and the first lady. I would like to just testify of what the Lord has done. Lazarus didn't have to open his mouth. When he walked into a room, it was first given
out of the God who is ahead of my life. Lazarus sitting at the table is a testimony. For some of y'all that's in this room, you ain't even got to open your mouth to tell and testify how good God has been. All you got to do is show up. 'Cause you know you was dead in your sins, you know who you used to be, and the fact that you had an 11 o'clock service on a Sunday morning, you ain't even got to open your mouth. Just wave your hand. I know I was dead. I know I was lost, and the fact that I am alive and in a church service, you don't need to hear my voice. Just watch my body. I once was dead now in my life. So this is a scene, although incredibly intimate, it's so potent that the people in the room, everybody got to be looking at Lazarus like, you know when you're the one in the room that God has done so much for and people just can't believe it, and you look and you connect eyes and you're like, oh, what are you looking at me? And it's like, yeah, dawg, I remember you. I was at your funeral. I was one of your pallbearers. We had completely wrote you off. I still got your obituary. with the goodness of God that Miriam couldn't take it no more. Everybody else is in, we're all here, we're all here, it's Lazarus check, it's Jesus check, it's Miriam check, it's Martha check, it's the disciples, they're all there, but at some point, Martha's, because it's her way, she just is working and probably moving all around and Miriam at some point is overwhelmed by this theme, so much so she can't take it no more. She's like, you ever had God do you like that? I don't even have words, every time I look at him, I know, I know the tears we shed over him, I know the price we paid for the funeral, I was there to anoint his body for his burial, and he's at the table eating olives, oh child, it's too much, y'all keep eating, mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm, Maga, they just, no don't stop, y'all can do whatever y'all want, it's fine. She came back out that back room with some oil that was so expensive that everybody recognized as soon as she came around the corner, it was not Axe Body Spray, this was not no Timo, Timo, Spray Grins, this was not a TikTok shop special, this was the more Louis Vuitton, M.F.K., this was some high end stuff, she was like, y'all just keep eating, mmm mmm mmm. And she took what Scripture says was a year's worth of wages, that's how expensive perfume was, okay let's
just break this down, okay. You know what your check be looking like after two weeks, or the first and 15th, it was more than that. You know what that check looks after a month, it was more than that. You know the annual salary you agreed upon, when you signed that contract to work for that company, that's how much it was worth. With the PTO that you haven't taken, and the vacation days that are rolled in, that's how much the oil was worth, and here's where, here's was her bright idea, while they're eating dinner, y'all just continue on, don't mind me. She breaks it, and then lathers everything on the inside of it, on Jesus's feet, and then she starts drying it with her hair. The moment she cracks open this, this, this expensive jar of perfume, this essence, this, this, this nard, literally the entire room is filled with the fragrance. Jesus does not go, oh girl what you're doing, get away from my feet. He just looks down, and seemingly goes right back to talking. Lazarus is popping olives, and he looks over at his sister and is like, that's how she get down, I don't even understand, she just, she just be worshiping crazy, I don't know, I can't call it, she just, he just keeps eating olives with his alive self. Martha is probably like, there she go, knowing good and well I need help with these dishes, now she don't broke something out of the, on the ground that I'm gonna have to sweep up, and all of the disciples except for one was like, if you ain't saying nothing, I ain't saying nothing. for a moment, because if we don't know what John tells us, dry snitching, and if we don't have the perspective of knowing what Judas would ultimately do to Jesus in his betrayal of him, Judas actually sounds reasonable. Judas sees how expensive this fragrant oil is, and he just starts doing the math because he was a treasure, he's like, "Carried to wine, Jewish calendar year, not Gregorian, doesn't even exist, why am I talking about that?" That's worth about a year's worth, that's an annual salary, you just broke open on the ground. Girl, what are you doing? That sounds prudent. We shouldn't just toss away the resource that God blesses us with. We shouldn't just be willy-nilly with all the things that God has given us. We need to be good stewards.
So Judas sounds reasonable, this is prudent, yo, hey, do you know, because sometimes you can have something to not know how expensive it is, or how much it's worth, and be treating it in a way that is actually not good stewardship. Just want to defend Judas real quick, without prior knowledge of knowing what this actions would be later, it seems like this is a really good thing to observe. That's the girl that's the lot of money you don't put at the Savior's feet. Do you not understand what we could be doing with this? Let's be reasonable here, that's an annual salary that's on the floor. Now that oil can't be soaked up by his legs and his feet, some of that is oozing into a crack, some of that is going into a crevice, some of that is just pooling up on the ground. Do you know what you're doing? Let's be prudent. Do they say, so you know what we should have done, what we should have done, is taking the valuation of the oil, we could have taken it down to a trade exchange, and we could have traded it for money. And with that money, we could have continued to bless Jesus' ministry, we could have given to convoy of hope next week, stay in the text. We could have given some to missions, we could have like split it up, I know we want to give to legacy church, but there's also some other churches we like online, and we should be given to them too. Let's make it rain in a lot of different ways, because that's a lot of money, it could bless a lot of people. This sounds practical. But then John reminds us as prudent and as practical as Judas sounds, Judas is a thief. He knows all the lingo, he can talk stewardship correctly, he knows exactly how to use the right words, he sounds so churchy. He sounds so spiritual. Let's be prudent about this, let's be practical about this, let's join our faith to something that actually makes sense. God says that we need to use wisdom, have you not read Proverbs?
In a multitude of counselors there is safety, so before we start giving all this money, before we start giving this all away, I mean, shall we pray, shall we consider? But he's a thief. Do you not understand that if Miriam would have listened to Judas, she would have robbed herself of the most extravagant moment she would have ever had in Jesus' entire life. She was never going to have this opportunity again in her entire life and Judas, as convincing as he sounds, could have talked her out of it. Except Miriam was such a worshiper that when Judas makes the statement, scripture doesn't even indicate that she looked up. So Judas makes this statement in this moment of worship and Miriam was just like, and then how much hair do you have to have to pat dry. (audience laughing) You know what I thought about? Ooh, just let me say this real quick. Do you know what I thought about after this? I wonder how many days after this moment was that fragrance still lingering in her hair. I wanna have opportunities and moments with Jesus that don't just fly away after an hour. I want moments with Jesus that make me think about them when the wind blows. I catch the fragrance and go, I remember what I did to his feet five days ago. When the wind blows, I'm two weeks ago, I'm still in shock that God allowed me to have an opportunity to do something like this. What she did was so absolutely extravagant that Jesus finally speaks up on her behalf and says, "Leave her alone." Y'all have no idea, she doesn't even have any idea.
She's preparing my body for burial. In the same way she did for Lazarus, thinking that she would never get him back again. She's doing the same thing for me. She's preparing my body for burial. Then he makes a statement that in the culture that we now live in 2026, so many people have become PhDs in narcissism. You've watched your three and a half minute TikTok clip. And so you know all the signs of a narcissist. The statement that Jesus makes ooh, low key comes off. If you don't know how to understand what he's trying to say, it can come off like a narcissist. And if you have PTSD from a narcissist, you will flinch. Please don't be a narcissist, Jesus. Please don't get aside, be Jesus. Please don't manipulate me, Jesus. Please don't try to devalue me, Jesus. I've already gotten my homework on TikTok. I know the signs of narcissism, Jesus. Don't be a narcissist, Jesus. Here's what Jesus says. The poor you will have what you always. But you will not always have me. If you hear this through the wrong ears, you're like, ugh. Why are you making this about you? (congregation laughing) You don't want us to help the poor. Oh, all this money got to come to you.
Oh, so you want all this oil for yourself. You don't even want me to help the poor. Narcissist, that's why I'm gonna go to church. That's why I'm a trusted pastor. All they want is your money. He probably bought his watch with that oil. (congregation laughing) He probably wiped that oil off his feet and took it right down to the currency exchange. And was like, I know my feet after all that oil, got to be worth half a year's worth of salary. That's not what he was saying. We know better than to believe that Jesus is narcissist. Here's what Yeshua the Messiah is actually saying. You will always have time for that. You will not always have time for this. You will always have an opportunity to be a blessing like that. You will not always have the chance to be a blessing like this. This oil a week later, and Jesus is not coming to dinner 'cause he's already died for the sins of the world. This oil a year later has no one's feet worthy enough to put it on. This oil a year later doesn't have the same opportunity to fill the room with the fragrance like it did this day. She turns a regular dinner celebrating the life of her brother into a worship service for Jesus would oil on his feet.
And had she listened to Judas, it would have never happened. This is the moment in the message where everybody gets to go, "Yeah, it's why we can't stand Judas." Boo Judas, don't nobody like him anyway. Missing the opportunity to investigate our own hearts for the Judas that lives within us. Let me tell you what the inner Judas sounds like. In the life of a believer, tell me if this has happened to you. The Holy Spirit says, "Hey, I want you to be a blessing "to so and so." And you're like, "Okay, absolutely." Until he tells you the amount. God." God knows good and well, I need this $1,000 and then the person he wants me to give it to, they look like they have $1,000, I think he wants me to give them $2.50. Then he's like, "Give them $1,000," and you're like, "The devil is working hard." Devil's trying to take the money out of my family budget, and this got to be an attack from the enemy. That's an attack of your inner Judas or your obedience. Let me tell you how your inner Judas sounds, it sounds exactly like mine because we all have one. Let's be reasonable Tim, let's pray about this, it's a lot of money. We got to be good stewards. How do we know what they're going to do with the money? We got to be good stewards. Are they set up financially to handle the blessing that we want to give them? I've had to expose my inner Judas so many times that I just laugh every time I hear them in my head and I'm like, "Ha!" I don't ignore my inner Judas, I'm from the hood, I kill.
I smoke homie. As soon as I see him come, I'll say, "Bop, bop, bop, bop!" Because I don't want him to block my blessings. I don't want him to block the opportunity that I have to worship God in an extravagant way. So every time I hear that, boys, I'm like, "Nah, fam. We can't do this." Let me tell you a story about there was a guy that was in our church. He's a successful doctor that is in our church and then 2020 hit and his business just dried up. He was building a new house for his family. From the ground up, he had to halt construction. He was barely making ends meet. This is a person that had experienced so much wealth in his practice. He has a concierge, a doctoral practice that he does and then it all dries up. He calls me and he goes, "I need you to pray, man." He said, "We are hurting." I was like, "I get it. I will absolutely be praying." I hung up the phone. When I pray for people, I don't actually pray for them to get money. I pray for opportunities because if God gives them the right opportunity and then God bless them with the money, the only thing I pray is God, when you bless them, let them remember you. Then it's never about me, the church, nothing. So about four and a half months later, he sends me a text and he says, "Abro, I've run into a problem. I need your help." I said, "Okay." So I called him and I said, "What's up?"
He said, "You need to raise the limit on the amount people can give online." I said, "Okay." He was like, "Yeah, the limit on what we can give online, I'm going to have to make like ten separate gifts to give what I need to give." So I was like, "Listen, I couldn't do the math." I was like, "Okay. How much that? What are you actually saying?" He said, "If you just call your giving company and tell them to raise it to like $250,000, that will be great." I was like, "Oh!" "What happened?" He said, "We just got the account to take care of health-wise MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL." He was like, "So the contract just came through and I have to give my tithe and it's $200,000." So I need you all to raise the limit. I was like, "I will call you back in five minutes. I have never become customer service so fast in my entire life." I was like, "Thank you so much for calling. If I can place you in a brief hold, if you'll listen to this outdated jazz music for just four and a half minutes, I'll be back with your new raised limitation." He gave the $200,000. Let me tell you what this inner Judas was saying when the $2 million came in. [BLANK_AUDIO] Let me tell you what this inner Judas said When it became inconvenient for him to give Oh, this must be a sign from the Lord that you're not supposed to give that much Maybe you're just supposed to give up to the limit and then you can take the one the other $175,000 and do some other things with it that will still be good But you don't have to give it all here And he kept ignoring that inner Judas like nope, I'll just call
That's why I sent you to text. That's why I got on the phone with you That's why I waited patiently for the limit to be raised because it was all supposed to come in here The tithe has to come to the local church. It's coming right here I cannot tell you how many times And Inner Judas has tried to sabotage A giving moment of generosity not just with treasure not just with your resources like money, but with your time and with your talents The inner Judas is always going to try to come up with an excuse To say why you cannot and you should not do this right now And I'm telling you you have to ignore You have to ignore Because God is trying to set up a worship Moment that leaves a fragrance And your inner Judas is trying to sabotage that worship moment to leave a stench And i'm not about to think up my house with disobedience Because I allowed Judas to talk me out of What Jesus so extravagantly wanted me to walk into Miriam was not Putting this oil on jesus's feet to get him to do something This was not a down payment on the blessing she hoped happened in the future Miriam broke open that expensive Fragrant oil Because if everything jesus had already done Not was what he was going to do and that's how Our giving should be I'm not showing no seeds Expecting a breakthrough I'm still in my seat because i already got
You ain't ever got to do another thing for me jesus Oh Okay, see I thought it was done. You told me to tell you another one So last year we lost 70 percent of our income I'm gonna let that marinate real quick Percent of our income last year. I had a business. I had to walk away from that business 70 percent of our income gone We kept Giving we kept timing to our church But based on what we were given the previous dealer when I looked at what we were able to give for all of 2025. I was like We definitely lost 70 percent of our income And here's what I told the lord at the end of the year in my own prayer time I I I dubbed 2025 as the year of manna Because we were literally living Month to month like the lowest our account got at one point was 57 dollars and 11 cents Main account where entrepreneurs main account 5711 that wasn't the last four digits of a phone number That was what's in the account for us to live off of I had the peace of God. So I just went to sleep on it Because ain't no sense in stressing and staying up all night It's gonna be 5711 in the morning as well You ain't about to rob me in my sleep. I'm going to sleep Whether some super naturally happens this account or not, I'll be asleep. So I won't know Got up in the morning 5711 No miracle no breakthrough just 5711 And I told the lord this I said lord I just want you to know You ain't ever got to give me that money back like you don't have to restore me to
Salary we used to make or the income that we used to have I was like you've already done enough I have loved and enjoyed the bougie life, but I've been living because like, but if that was like, cause all of this is a run, there's ups and downs to your life and you won't always have the money you had or be earning what you did, blah blah blah blah you won't always be as popular as you were, you won't always have the weight that you've had, like look, whatever, you won't always have the hair that you have, whatever the thing is, okay, you have a, you have a, you have a, you have a real hair season, you might have a wig season, you might have a Beijing hairline season, I don't know what, maybe going on with y'all, okay, but here's what I told the Lord, I told the Lord, ain't none of it got to come back, I've loved eating out and loved having wagyu beef and sea bass and all this stuff, but please don't ever get it twisted, I can still have a baloney sandwich with the red tape on it, thick cut, put in the skillet, three slices in it so it don't turn into a bowl, I will take two slices of white bread, toast it, put frinches mustard on it and sandwich spread and with no tomatoes and no lettuce, put that thick cut baloney in between those two pieces of bread and sing the song, my baloney has a first name, O-S-C-A-R, no S-C-A-R, my baloney has a second name, M-A-R, M-A-Y-R, oh, I love to eat 'em and I'll say that Oscar Mayer has a way, will be a way in G&A, I don't know, I just did that, so ridiculous, wrap up 10 to 7. The moment I told the Holy Spirit that I was so freed in my spirit, just was like, we're good, do you know this year, he just kicked the door open with blessings financially, again I had just told him at the end of the year, you ain't even gotta give it back, he gave it back y'all, then let me tell you what happened three days ago baby, three days ago, three days ago, let me tell you what happened four days ago, then I'll tell you what happened three days ago, so what happened four days ago is we had somebody that we knew very well who came over and said, I'm in a very tough situation and I don't have transportation right now and you know, I've been looking, you know, rental cars are so expensive, it's like $200 a week now and it's just very difficult and I was like, okay, you know what we're praying for you? So they left the house, as soon as they left the house the Holy Spirit was like, yeah, yeah, pray for him, so I pray for him and after I pray for him, I'm like, Lord you provide
for them, you give them a car, like give them something reliable, they give them a point A to point B, da da da da, and I got there praying and I was like, amen, he was like, yeah, amen, now go get him a car. I was like, oh, me, he was like, yeah, get him a car. I was like, okay, you know, I was planning to do some stuff with the money for this month and our budget and he was like, yeah, get them a car and my inner Judas with his prudent practical self, well, you don't want to do that and if you get him a car like, you can't get him like, anything like really nice because, I mean, what about you and your family, you need to do two things trying to sabotage me from releasing a fragrance in my life. So the very next morning, after I have my Spanish class, it's still happening in the end of this video, that next morning, after my Spanish class, the Holy He said, "Go to this dealer." I had never been to this dealer in my life. He said, "Go to this dealer. "Look for a Spanish-speaking salesman." (speaking Spanish) I walk in, two salesmen get up. And then one of them sits back down and the Spanish-speaker comes right up to me. It doesn't get more Hispanic than Josue. (audience laughing) Josue, J-O-S-U-E, with the accent mark. Josue, Josue comes, I said, (speaking Spanish) (speaking Spanish) (audience laughing) (speaking Spanish) (speaking Spanish) So we get down, we sit down. I said, I saw a car that you had. Is it still there?
He said, "Yeah." I said, "I want that car." He said, "Great." "Are we gonna be financing?" I said, "No." (audience laughing) And I tell you, got restored, would have been eaten up in 2025. He restored. I said, "This ain't gonna be a burden on us. "This ain't gonna be a burden on her. "Let's get it." I was there four hours, and here's the only reason why I know I was there four hours. Deal the ships hate cash transactions, 'cause they don't make no money off of them. So I think they just sat me in there for punishment. (audience laughing) Like, oh, oh, he got cash, huh? Oh, he gonna sit here for four hours, 'cause we ain't making no money off of them. Anyway, long story short, I picked up the car. I had already texted this young lady's son. I picked up the car, we got the car. You can't make this up. The dealership was four minutes from her house. I didn't know this. This was not in my mind. The Holy Spirit told me what dealership to go to, what dealer to deal with,
and then once it was all over, she lived four minutes away. So I texted her son and I said, I'm coming to pick you up. Please be outside. She was working. So I come to the house, pick him up, drive him to the dealership. I said, I bought your mama a car. And he was like, I'm gonna cry when I get in the car, but I'm not gonna cry in the car with you. I said, that's fine. So he got in the car and he drove off and I just honked at him. And then I went to go get my barrel twist. And then I came home. The fragrance of this week is so sweet. (audience applauding) Juliet said, hey, guess who was over at the house? Yesterday, I said, who? She pulls up the ring footage and that car was in our driveway that come over to the house to show the rest of our family. That fragrance is gonna be wafting every time we see each other. And my inner Judas almost talked me out of it because he tried to convince me that if I was generous to her, that God wouldn't give me anything from my family,
old contraband friend. We're not gonna allow Judas to rob us of sweet fragrances anymore. (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) (audience applauding) [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO] [BLANK_AUDIO]
