The Lord has given us an assignment in the ministry to young people. We have a music and arts program that reaches to those who have a similar grace and calling as I have to use the creativity, the music, the art to glorify the Lord. We feel like the Lord has called us to help raise up the next generation of creatives. Those who have, amen, amen, they have an anointing to sing, to dance, to rap, to play instruments to write, to produce. We feel like the Lord has called us to do that and we've seen over the years, some

of the greatest voices in fact of worship today came through our ministry. We're just grateful for this assignment, but along with that, we have a ministry called Dream Life that reaches to young people coming out of addiction and street life and gangs and violence and various drug lifestyles. And I've seen the power of that name break-fitting on and break okay. Turn broken hearts and lives around them. Throughout our journey this morning in worship and in ministry, you're going to get a chance to experience what God has given to this ministry and the young people that are with me. And I want you to not only worship with us, but I want mothers and fathers who are believing for what your heart to be encouraged today. That your whole house, come on, shall be saved, amen. That's such a revival spirit already in the room and I just want you to believe that in the output of the Holy Spirit that your grandchildren and your children are going to experience the power of Jesus that is able to set the captives free, amen. So are you ready to worship with us just morning or are you ready to celebrate, amen. Or somebody will release a sound to Jesus as we begin to. Why do they have so much fire? So I want you to help us to testify to them. And this is how I want you to do it. Take both of your hands and point to the person next to you. Come on, point to them and tell them, you should have been there. Now, point to yourself and say, when I pray through, now put both of your hands out like this and say the church was on fire. One is cultivating their gifts And have you been enjoying these young people today? Have they blessed you? (Applause) from the streets. I want to do more than talk about it. I want to do something to make a difference. Amen. I was living at the time and I thought we might not have time for this. You can see Jay back up here, I don't want to at least do this, scribe come up here real quick. I want them to get a chance to enjoy this. So one of the things that these guys do is rap and I believe that rap should be used to preach Jesus. If you're going to do it, do it for Jesus, amen?

And they have a rap to the books of the Bible. Now I don't know how many people know all the books of the Bible. But if you don't, somebody said they know Nehemiah. If you don't, this would be a great way to learn it. Now the thing that's awesome about these two young people that are going to do this is just a couple of minutes long. They all have amazing stories of freedom from so many different things, addiction and just anger and rage. And I'm proud of these young people, making a stand for Jesus, amen? Amen. Okay, all right, well, let's do it, let's go. Turn that up, turn that up. These are the books of the Bible, the Old and the New Testament. You're going to need it for purpose and revival. Read the books of the law and it goes like this. Genesis, Exodus, the vidicants, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and next to books of history, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1st, Sam and 2nd, Samuel, 1st, King, 2nd, King, 1st, Coronical, 2nd, Coronical, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, next of the poetry books. So take a look, we got Joel, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Memorize all of them. And the book is Isaiah, Jeremiah, Limitations, Ezekiel, Daniel, next to my name is Jacob, the mantle. Isaiah, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Joel, Micah, Nahamah, Rebecca, Seth, and Isaiah, Hagar, Zachariah, Malek, and the books of the Old Number, Enid 39. The book of the Bible, the Old and the New Testament. These are the latest of the Bible, Old and the New Testament. You're going to need it for purpose and survival. Read it, memorize it, live it, be coming. I want to take a moment and let a couple of our guys share a testimony with you. Is that okay? You want to hear what God has done in some of our young people's lives? Come on, put your hands together. Calvin, be coming. Good morning, church. Praise God. My name is Calvin. I come over from Phoenix, Arizona. I just want to share a little bit of what God has done in my life. I grew up in a pastor's home. Dad ran Teen Challenge. I grew up watching him feed the homeless. I spent 90% of my childhood inside the church walls and outside doing evangelism with him. He was a man of God. I woke up to him in the middle of the night seeking God's face. I would see him writing his sermons. He didn't just talk the talk. He walked the walk.

I had a picture-perfect family growing up. The enemy was unfortunately able to sneak in. Just because he was a man of God doesn't mean that he wasn't a man of God. And when he was, when I was 11 years old, he ended up having an affair on my mom with one of the leaders of the youth group. And that turned my family upside down. That picture perfect home became a broken home very quickly. And not only did my parents get a divorce and I lose my, you know, my family home, but I lost my church home, I lost my pastor, I lost my dad, I lost my school, I lost, you know, the place that I grew up. And so everything kind of just turned upside down really fast. And at 11 years old, not knowing what to do with all that pain inside and, you know, that feeling of abandonment. I just followed in my brother's footsteps. And he had become a drug dealer. And so we were running the streets in Phoenix and started selling OxyContin. And at that time, it was a pandemic that had swept over the nation. And, you know, we were making quite a bit of money doing that. And we ended up falling into it ourselves and becoming addicted. And so by the time I was 14, I'm homeless, my mom had kicked us out. And we're just strung out on OxyContin's and ended up getting robbed by some rival drug dealers.

And so now I have nothing again. And, you know, just kind of looking at my life and wondering, like, how I had gone so far gone growing up, I, you know, I thought, God, you know, had my back. And by that time, I just hated God. Any time I talked to him was to curse at him and just, you know, I was just so full of anger and hatred. And then after that, they stopped making OxyContin because it was such a pandemic. And so me and my brother ended up, you know, strung out on the streets, shooting a heroin, because that's what we could get our hands on. And so it went, like, the enemy brought it to us in this, like, kind of, like, fun lifestyle of, you know, you're gonna make money, you're gonna do this, you're gonna get the popularity, you're gonna wanna be around you, but they're really just using you and ended up stealing everything from my life. And I'm 16 years old, 17 years old, just full of suicidal thoughts, full of self-hatred. Hadn't talked to my dad in years. And, you know, I'd grown up in the church and known about God, but I never really had an encounter for him for myself. I knew what people had said about him. I knew what my dad said about him. I knew what the people around me said about him. I knew what my teacher said about him, but I never encountered him for myself.

And one night, I found myself in a church similar to this. And I was dating a girl in the church, so I would go to youth group with her. And Eddie happened to be at one of the youth services, and he came, but he didn't come by himself. He brought the Holy Spirit with him. And I remember standing in the back, you know, and they had these dancers with them, and, you know, they were all hyped up for Jesus. And I was, you know, I was kind of like judgy, and I was like, man, like, look at these guys, like, what are they dancing about? Like, it was a joke to me. And, but then Eddie began to play this song called "Rescue." And it says, "I need you, Jesus. "Come to my rescue, where else can I go? "There's no other name by which I am saved, "cover me with grace." And in that moment, I began to feel the arms of God wrap around me, and this icy cold heart began to melt, and this heart of stone began to break open and soften and become a heart of flesh again. And after that, the service had ended, and I just, I had felt God's arms wrap around me, and I went and talked to Eddie, because we had actually had a history. One of his first jobs as a worship leader was playing for my dad at his church.

So I hadn't seen Eddie in probably 15 years, and he just looked at me and he said, "Son, like, what would it do? "What would it take for you to come on the road with me?" And for someone to call me son was, it just, I felt the father's love for the first time in a long time, and I just asked him, you know, I was still homeless at the time. I asked him if we could go pick up my garbage bags, and so we did exactly that. I had two black bags full of my clothes that I would hop from friend to friend, and we get on the road, and I'm just like, I was excited and everything, but then I was thinking maybe I did this too quick. Maybe I should have thought a little bit about this, because I didn't have any drugs with me. And I was, I was, yeah, I was started to panic, and I was like, man, I'm about to hit withdrawals really hard, because it'd been eight years of nonstop use. And I was frightened, but there was a man, one of the leaders at the time, and he had been with Eddie for quite some time, and he had overcome cocaine addiction. And so he came up to me, and he was telling me his story, and he's like, "Man, do you believe that God "can heal you and set you free?" And I was just like, "Yeah, man, I do." And it took a minute because I realized that that was my comfort blanket.

That was where I felt safe, was in my addiction, was in my suffering. And I just said, yeah, man, I want free. And so him and a couple other guys, they began to pray over me and I lifted my hands and they just, they covered me in prayer. And I felt the hand of God reach down inside of my soul and pull all of the addiction out. And I'm not talking just about a spiritual healing. I'm talking about a physical healing. All the chemical imbalance was realigned. My mind was made whole. And I felt it all completely break off in that moment. I didn't have one single withdrawal after eight years of addiction. And that's the power of God. That was an encounter. That was what I needed to realize that God was real for me, not for anybody else, not for who my parents said he was. But for God showed up for me in that moment and made himself real to me. And so that was amazing. And I was just like, man, I was on fire and I understood why these guys were dancing. I understood why they were full of joy. I understood it. And later on down the road, I was sick one night, we were traveling and so I stayed back at the hotel and God had another plan. He had me on the floor crying and I was just praying

to God and I was just praying over them and asking God to be with them during their service and time of ministry. And he paused me and he said, I want you to pray for your dad. And I hadn't talked to my dad in probably several years. It had been a while and I just began to pray for my dad and that soft kind of not knowing what to say, prayer turned into full blown weeping over my father and just praying blessings and just provision over his life, blessings over his marriage, favor over his family. And God in that moment just released all the bitterness and the hatred that had caused me to fall into addiction, that had caused me to seek other things because I was hurt so bad and I had abandonment issues and I had identity issues. But in that moment, he released all of that from me and I stand to you in front of you 17 years free from all of that in Jesus mighty name. I have two beautiful children of my own and he's broken the generational curse of fatherlessness over my house and he's here to do the same for each and every one of you today. And Jesus mighty name in Jesus name. - Come on now people, that's a powerful testimony. That is a powerful testimony right there. That is a powerful testimony. 'Cause we all know that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. If he did it for Calvin, he could do it for you.

He can do it for you, do you believe that? That he can do it for you. I love that. Man, every time I talk about Jesus or I hear testimonies, it gets me pumped. Right? See my testimony, I grew up in the foster care system in New York and I went through a lot of abuse. But the worst abuse came when I was three years old and my babysitter who was supposed to be protecting me, taking care of me, was disgusted with me, didn't like me and so she burned my hands. (congregation murmuring) I couldn't defend myself. So as I got older and I realized that I looked different from everyone else, I was disgusted with myself. I couldn't love myself. And I believe the lives of the enemy that no one could love me. See, 'cause while I was in the system, I wasn't around godly people. There were no Christians that were going into the foster care systems to make a difference. And so I was thrown into the world. People were worldly mindsets and they told me that I would never become anything. They told me that I would stay stuck. And I believed it.

So as I got older, I wanted to fit in because I didn't know who God was. So I found my identity and other people started hanging out with the wrong groups, wanting to fit in with the cool kids. I would compromise my morals and what I believed was right, just so people could like me. But ultimately, I ended up with a group who was doing drugs. And that led down a road to where I became homeless and I was living in my car for three years. And while I was living in my car, I was comfortable because I had a job. I was making money. So I was comfortable. But I was still stuck. Until one day, I went into this homeless shelter and I met this woman who was still with the spirit and not just any spirit, He is the spirit of life, not death. And she told me here testimony, just like Calvin and just like mine. And there was this desire to know the goodness of God. To know this man who took care of this single mother with two kids. And she said when she prayed, God would deliver an answer all of our prayers. Now, at this moment I had a worldly mindset, so I was like, God, I want to pursue you for what you can give me, not for what I can give you. But let me tell you, we serve a faithful God, a good God, and he welcomes all. He welcomes all, no matter how we start. And so as I started to pursue him, there was a shift inside of me.

I was still struggling, I was still confused, but I continued to pursue him. And as I continued to pursue him, as I continued to read, I realized where my true identity was found, and him. And so this woman told me about this program called Dream Life. And everyone said Dream Life. It was created by Eddie James given to him by God. And this program is for at-risk youth who are homeless, who are addicted, who are struggling with their identity. So Eddie takes them in and he disciples them in the Word, not looking at the dirtiness, the filthiness of the world and the words that the world spoke to them but saying, "Son, you have identity. There is a future for you. God has a plan for you." So I stepped out in faith, went to this program, and it changed my life. I said, "Lord, I don't know you, but I'm curious." So I got to travel where Eddie James ministered with him all over the world for three years. After that, I became a youth pastor because God is so good. He said, "Ober, your story is not done." But something that I loved while I was traveling with Eddie is, I used to sell these shirts. And there's a scripture in Psalms, 144-1, it says, "Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." This woman thought she was taking me out, but my God had a plan. This woman thought I was going to hide my hands, but God had a plan. She thought I would believe what the world had placed on me and my identity, but God said, "Son, I am calling you, and I have a future for you." He said, "Trust in me." These hands have taken photos, have added, have laid hands on the sick, and they were healed. These hands are not done, ministering for the Lord. You can see my scars, and I used to be ashamed of them, but I'm no longer ashamed.

And you may have scars. God just wants you to yield to Him, surrender to Him, however it looks like, whatever the process is like, because He loves you. He cares for you. He will never abandon you. And just like the prodigal son, we all know the story, once he realized that he didn't want to live in the world, he didn't want to live below what his means or what he was used to at his father's house, we all know as he started to run back home, the father was not just sitting at the doorway, looking at him, but he said, "The father ran towards the son." And that same way today, the father's running towards you if your heart is tender, if you're willing, and if you want to push into more. Because your testimony may speak to someone else that I can't speak to. Thank you God. Thank you God. Thank you God. [Applause] Well, I asked him to stay with me for a second. Psalm 91 verse one starts out saying things like this. "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. My God in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. He will cover me with His feathers and under His wings shall doubt trust." There's so much I would love to unpack there but because of the time I want to zero our focus on this particular part of this passage where it says, "Surely He shall deliver from the snare of the fowler, the snare of the fowler, the snare of the fowler, the snare of the fowler, the snare of the fowler, the snare set up by the fowler. The snare that was put there by the fowler." What is a fowler? A fowler, the dictionary tells you is one who hunts birds. But a fowler, I believe, if you look at this definition, is someone who says a trap to keep people who were designed to fly. I believe I'm in a room full of eagles. I believe I'm in a room full of eagles. I believe I'm in a room full of eagles.

I believe I'm in a room. I believe I'm in a room full of eagles. I believe I'm in a room full of people that God has marked to soar in the things of the spirit. You are meant to soar in the kingdom. But there is an enemy that does not want to see you soar because if you begin to fly and you begin to move in the direction of purpose, it will paralyze the plans of the enemy. And so what the enemy wants to do is set traps, snares, to keep you from flying. See, Aubrey was marked to fly. So the enemy, through this woman, tried to set a snare. A trap. Trapped in shame, trapped in loss of identity, trapped in abuse, trapped in neglect, trapped in abandonment. I remember Aubrey first came to our ministry and he wanted to still be able to do certain things because at that time he had a hand that was still bleeding. The abuse happened at age three and in his twenties he's still bleeding from something that happened at age three. And you can see at times when Aubrey had been helping with something or doing something because you could see traces of blood or his hands had been. And sometimes, when we're not careful and we're not healed, we bleed out on people. We bleed out on people. We're not understanding why we have the behavior, why we're reacting, why we're being triggered, why we're saying certain things. But I got good news for you. The reason for the struggle, the attack, all of the stuff that came to you is because the enemy knows that God created you to fly. pain and in yesterday's regret and in yesterday's shame, then you won't spread the wings that God created you to spread. But he shouldn't have let you get here to this house this morning. Surely he shall deliver, that's not a maybe, that's a promise. I don't know how many people in this generation still believe in the power of deliverance. But I believe that his word is true. There is no snare that God can't deliver you from. There is no trap that God can't pull you out of. There is no attack of the enemy to mighty for our God. If God before you who can be against you, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. I need some Holy Ghost help in this room. If you believe that your God has the power to deliver, are there some people in this room that has experienced the power of God to deliver?

Has anybody ever been in a place where you felt trapped? You felt stuck? You felt like you couldn't get out? But God came and did for you what you could not do for yourself and today you can testify that you serve a God that delivers. We serve a God that delivers and that delivering power of God is available for you today. We might not can see your scars, you look really good this morning, you dressed up nice, you're looking all good and sweet and precious. Sisters is looking like your Holy Ghost field, fire, baptism. You're looking good this morning. But sometimes underneath all of that is a heart that's still bleeding. Still bleeding today from somebody who burned you yesterday. Still broken today by somebody, someone said something to you yesterday and it still has you stuck. As soon as you see their name, come across your cell phone, on your Facebook, on your Instagram, your heart breaks, things begin to surface on the inside of you. But God is saying I could deliver you from that. You don't have to stay bitter, you don't have to stay angry, you don't have to stay broken, you don't have to stay depressed, you don't have to go to things, try to cope with it. You don't need alcohol for this, you don't need a drug for it, you don't need a vape for it, you don't need a cigarette for it, you don't need a peel for it, you need a word for this. You need the power of God for this, come on, you need the presence of God for this. He didn't say surely the alcohol would deliver, he said surely he shall deliver. You don't need another man, you don't need another woman, you don't need another raise, you don't need more toys, you don't need another truck, you don't need another gun, nothing wrong with any of that. But what you need is the power of God that is able to deliver. I want to take a few moments, so on all of EJM to come stand with me because I want you to be a part of this moment, just come stand with me and help me pray.

Musicians begin to play softly, I want to go back to, your name is power, your name is healing, I want to go back to that. I want everybody in this room from the balcony to the floor, begin to pray in the Holy Ghost right now, if you know what that means, if you don't, just pray as you know how, but I want you to pray because I believe that there are some people in this room right now that God has set this moment up for your freedom, set this moment up for your breakthrough, set this moment up because you were created to fly. What would you do free? What would you do if you could spread your wings and begin to soar like an eagle in the things of God? I want everybody from the front to the back, I want to hear the sound of a praying church, I want to hear the sound, come on, this is what hell troubles at, hell troubles at hearing the sound of a praying church. Let me hear some brothers and sisters that don't mind releasing the sound of intercession, come and release the sound of intercession, that sound is beautiful, that sound is amazing. Amen, amen, amen, release that sound of intercession from the balcony to the floor. I want you, as it were, to be like the paul and solace on your road, if there's a chain on your row, your intercessor. Come on, I want you to pray. I want you to pray. I want you to pray. I want you to pray. Open your mouth and begin to pray. And I want everybody in this room, like Aubrey, like Calvin, you find yourself in a place where as if the enemy has you stuck, stuck in yesterday's pain, stuck in brokenness, stuck in shame, stuck in fear, stuck in anxiety. And you know, you were created for more than how you're living right now. You were created for better. God has better for you than how you're living right now.

And the enemy seems to have you stuck. I've got good news for you today. The God that delivers is in this house. The God that delivers is in this room. The God that delivers is going by your will right now. The God that delivers can deliver you from the snare of the fowlor. The snare of the one who hates to see you fly. The snare of the one who hates to see you come into the fullness of God's purpose and design for your life. The devil is a liar today. This is your day of victory. This is your day of liberty. This is your day of breakthrough. This is the day where you're going to spread your wings and you're going to soar in the name of Jesus. And when I count the three, everybody in this room, that you say, I know this word was for me. I know that I'm tired of being stuck in a place that God never designed for me. I'm tired of my mind being stuck, my family being stuck, my heart being stuck, my business being stuck. I'm tired of my heart and my mind and my spirit. Not moving into the things that God has prepared for me, and I want to be free. When I count the three, if that is you, throw your hands up. One, two, three, lift your hand right now. If this was a word, oh my God. If this was a word for you, lift your hands. Lift your hands, my goodness, my goodness. Man, there's hands from the balcony to the floor.

There's hands all over this room. Instead of you coming to the altar, we will make this entire room an altar. We're going to make this entire room an altar. I want everybody right now to just lift your hands. And each I am, just stretch your hands this way. Come closer to the stage, front of the stage. And I want you to lift your voice and pray for the God that delivers to deliver in this room right now. God, you're the name of Jesus. Release the power to deliver in this house. Release the power to break chains in this room. Oh God, you're the one that delivered from the snare of the fowler. You're the one who delivered from the trap of the enemy. And we decree and declare that today is the day that your people will be set free and delivered from the snare of the fowler, right? Now, we declare that you're coming out of this. You're coming out. You're coming out. Your family's coming out. Your son is coming out. Your daughter's coming out. Your children, your grandchildren are coming out. Your spouse is coming out. Your health is coming out. Your finances is coming out. Your business is coming out. Your ministry is coming out.

Your purpose is coming out. Your destiny is coming out. Your mind, your heart, your spirit. You're gonna live again. You're gonna fly again. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. The devil is a liar. The devil is defeated. You are free. The devil is a liar. The devil is defeated. You are free. The devil is a liar. The devil is defeated. We declare this morning. You are free from the snare of the fowler in the name of Jesus. (audience applauding) Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! (audience applauding) (audience cheering) - But I feel the Holy Spirit in this room. Some of you tonight are gonna sleep better than you've ever slept tonight because he said he'd get free from the snare. Some of you are gonna find new vision and new purpose.

God's gonna download some fresh downloads of God's purpose for your life into your spirit because you've let that stuff go. There's about to be a new you that goes home today. All things new. Somebody shout all things new. You're gonna be a new wife, a new husband. They're gonna look at you. What happened to my mama? I got out the snare this morning. I'm gonna fly like an eagle in the spirit. I want you to do your hands like this. Come on, spread your wings in the Holy Ghost. Spread your wings in the spirit. That's what you're gonna do when you're leaving here today. This is you now. This is you now. You're gonna write those books. You're gonna write those songs. You're gonna start that business. Come on, you're gonna raise those children to love God like you've never raised them before. Come on, come on, spread those words. (congregation cheering) Come on, I see some of y'all not spreading them. Come on, don't stay stuck. Tell the devil I'm not staying in this sinner. I'm coming out in Jesus' name. Fly in the spirit, fly in your purpose, fly in the, somebody said I'm gonna fly in Jesus' name.
