Insistent Faith | Pastor Tony Suarez | Purpose House Church

It's such a blessing to be with you all, and I got to tell you something. I got so moved during the praise of the people, I just grabbed the mic and came up here. I don't know if they're supposed to do something else in the service, but we're just going to go with this part, amen. If you're new to the church and you're wondering what part of the service is this, this is that part. I appreciate every style of worship that glorifies the Lord Jesus. I can find value and richness in liturgical worship, high reverent worship. There's just something though about spirit-filled churches. We have programs, we print them. We just never know what God's going to do though, amen. And this is one of those days where God said, you know what, I got it. Just let me do my thing, and I'm thankful for a God that, and a people, I'm thankful for a people that let God, because I was taught that he's a gentleman. He doesn't force himself on you. He knocks at the door, but you have to open the door, but I'm thankful for a people that are sensitive, and you let God have his way, and I'm thankful for a God that would be so mindful of us. I don't know if I told the story the last time I was here or not. I think I do now that I started telling, now that I'm in the middle of it. My wife and I were at a political event, and people were just dying to get the glimpse of a man and a woman, and these ladies and their thousand dollar red bottoms, and their multi-thousand dollar ballroom dresses, and these men and their hundred dollar rented tuxedos. Their stuff never, anyways, it doesn't matter. When that man and woman appeared, I'm telling, everyone turned into a football player. I mean, people are tackling each other. Red bottom heels are in people's feet, I mean, are in their hands. They're like making room with the heel just to get a glimpse, and those politicians, you know, they'll be out of office within two to six years, eight years, but we have a king

who's never lost an election, can't vote him out, can't steal it from him. In fact, the Bible says that of his government, there shall be no end. We're a part of a beautiful monarchy, and Jesus is our king, and how privileged are we that the king of kings would take time on a Sunday morning to say, I'm coming to Heron, Illinois, because I hear my children calling in praise and worship. I just don't, I won't take that for granted. With what he's done in my life, I won't take that for granted. Amen. Well, I'm not Pastor Jason McKinney's. I'm his Latino cousin, Tony Suarez, glory to God, glory adios, and to test your Holy Ghost, I'm gonna preach in Spanish, and we'll see if you get the interpretation of the tongues today. Glory to God. But I counted a privilege to be with you all today, and I think you know it, but I wanna remind you, sometimes if you, you have to be reminded, sometimes we can be so blessed that we get spoiled, because we take it for granted, we don't realize how blessed we are. You are very, very blessed to have this church. Not everyone has what you have, and I'm not talking about buildings and technology, I'm talking about the church, the people, the ones that are in your row, the leadership, your children's ministry, student ministry, your pastoral team, not everyone has this, and I told your pastor, I told him this the last time, I think I told him the last time I was here, and I told some of the pastoral staff this morning, I've been traveling as an evangelist for 27 years, and if the Lord were to come visit me today and say, Tony, I want you to pastor a church, now, after all the churches you've gone to, you tell me which one you want me to model yours after, I'd say, Lord, I want a church like Purpose House, I want one just like this. I mean that. I mean that. Should have told you not to put that on the internet, because I've never said that about any other church, and I've got four more to preach at this week, so, that's how you get

canceled as an evangelist, but, but I just think this is what the Lord has done for you all here, it's just fabulous, and I thank the Lord for it, and I give honor to the matriarch of the family. Sister McKinney's, God bless you. I'm honored to be with you today, amen. Amen to all your pastoral team. Thank you, God bless you. To my friends that are in the room, is Mr. Bachrach's sister here today? Oh, she's not here. Mr., I'm gonna honor the family anyhow. My second job out of high school was working for a suit store called Bachrach. Mid-90s, mid to late 90s, I worked. Mr. Bachrach gave me a job. His sister goes to church here, and one of my favorite memories, see, and if you don't remember, you forget, and then you don't, I'm appreciative because Mr. Bachrach gave me a job, and it was the mid to late 90s. If you remember, everyone was sagging their pants. Everyone would wear pants that were six sizes too big for them, and every now and then, Mr. Bachrach would actually come to the store, and he'd say, don't tell anyone who I am, and so we would be fitting a man for a suit, and all these guys would come in, they're sagging their pants down here, and Mr. Bachrach was, he was about my height,

very slender, but he was very bold, and he would come to the suit fitting, and he'd grab that man's pants from the back, and he'd yank them all the way up. He'd say, wear them like a man, and they'd, one time, someone challenged him, who do you think you are? And have you heard in the movies, you know, I'm Batman, well, I'm Bachrach, and so. You know. Anyways, that's one of my memories, and so I wanna honor the family, because those are some of my favorite memories, amen. Well, they brought me here not, they brought me here to preach, and so I think we're gonna go ahead and do that. Would you stand with me one more time for the reading of God's word? I'm going to the gospel according to St. Luke, chapter 18, and we'll begin reading in verse one, and we'll read through verse five. Amen. The book of Luke, chapter 18, verses one through five. Bible says, and I'm reading from the New Living Translation today, any translation you have will do. One day, Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. There was a judge in a certain city, he said, who neither feared God nor cared about people,

and a widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, give me justice in this dispute with my enemy. The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, I don't fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. Well, yeah, they put the right translation up there. I want you to know the Bible says the word crazy. This woman is driving me crazy. I'm going to see that she gets justice because she is wearing me out with her constant request. Mercy. I want to preach to you today from the subject, insistent faith. Let's pray. Father, thank you for your presence that's already evident in this room. I pray that you would anoint me one more time for your glory, that everything I say and everything we do point to you and bring glory to you. I pray that you would confirm the word with another move of your spirit, that we would say, surely we have been in the presence of God, and I ask it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and all God's people said, you may be seated in the presence of the Lord. You know, growing up in church, there are key phrases or words, cliches, if you will, that are constantly used,

and they're shouted about, preached about, sung about. One of them is the concept of breakthrough. You're at the point of breakthrough. You're about to break through into something, and breakthroughs come into your finances, and breakthroughs come into your marriage, and breakthroughs come into this, and breakthroughs come into that. Another one of those cliches that you hear is God's about to take you to another level. I mean, you're about to step into things that you've never seen before, heard about. Ear has not, ear has not heard. Eye has not seen what God is about to do. I mean, you can't hardly say it without tuning up, and so they're beautiful concepts, but I've found that there are people that have, they are frustrated waiting on a promise, because they have a word, but getting from word to fulfillment is a whole other thing, and see, breakthrough and next-level blessing does not belong to casual, comfortable, inconsistent Christianity. won't come to the one that's easily discouraged and easily throws in the towel. The kingdom of God and the blessing of God comes to those that learn how to insist in faith, not in arrogance, but in covenant, confident faith that they believe the word of the Lord, they insist in faith, and because of their insistence,

they step into the blessing of the Lord. One of the most beautiful things of being a Christian is watching how God changes someone's life, whether it's the person whose life used to be a mess, but now they've come into Christ, and Christ has come into them, and old things have passed away, and now they're a new creature, and you can just see the handprint of God on their life, whether it's that kind of a miracle, or whether it's something material, a person that used to have to catch the bus to work every day, and now they own multiple vehicles. Whatever your testimony is, whatever God has done for you, there's one thing that's the same. Those things don't happen for individuals that give up or quit, but they happen to those that do what they're supposed to do, and then like the old saying goes, when you do what you're supposed to do, then God does what only God can do. And I think that some just get discouraged too easy. They just, they give up way too easily, and I want to provoke your faith today. I want to encourage your faith today that persistence and insistence are the things that move heaven to touch the earth. It's fervent faith. It's the way you pray. It's a spirit or an attitude that says,

I'm not going to stop. I'm not going to back down until I receive what I'm seeking from the Lord. Another translation of Luke 18 and one says that men and women always ought to praise, ought to always pray and not lose heart. You may have heard me tell the story before. My daughter has me wrapped around her finger. She knows it, I know it, and quite frankly, I don't care. And when she was, she's in college now, but when she was a little girl, she'd asked me for all kinds of things. And at first she had me tricked and then I learned who my daughter is. She would ask me what, my son was playing baseball and she saw that at the other field, there was a bunch of little girls playing. There was a girls' T-ball team, and she came up to me dressed in a princess gown and, Daddy, I want to play T-ball. I took her straight to the sports store. After that game, I bought her a pink helmet, I bought her pink cleats, we bought a pink bat. We signed her up to join the team. It was called the Lady Bugs. And so I got her all the stuff. We went to one game and she retired from T-ball, came out of the T-ball, and, Daddy, I don't like it. I'm sweaty. And so that was that.

Few months later, her middle name is Angelina. So she's saved in my phone as Angelina Ballerina. One day, the former Lady Bug now came to me. Daddy, I want to be a ballerina. I'm not gonna spin because you got that camera on me. I'm gonna be a ballerina. I took her to the store, I bought her a tutu, I bought her the tights, I bought her the little shoes, I bought the whole thing, one recital. She quit ballet. Then she said she wanted to be a gymnast. We never even made it to the first meet. I learned that my daughter was quick and she was prone to give up. She would ask for things, but then didn't see it all the way through. So I saved a lot of money by learning, give it about two or three weeks and see if she still wants what she said that she wants. Well, there are people that go to God and they'll ask him for this. God, I need you to move in this marriage. He didn't even give him 30 days and you're already at the lawyer filing for divorce. God, I need you to move in my children. And it's not all, it's just two weeks later and you're saying, Lord, give me a new child. Lord, I'm believing for this business or I'm believing for this to happen in my ministry. And when it doesn't happen on your time clock,

people are just so quick to give up. But I wanna remind you that the Bible says that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. You gotta insist in your faith. You got to insist. You have to stick to it and believe it. Take, for example, Mary and Martha, whose brother was very, very ill to the point of death. You find this story in the book of John chapter 11. It's not in my notes, but it's in my spirit right now. They came to Jesus and said, hey, that friend of yours that you love, that friend of yours that you value, he is very sick, and Jesus gave him a promise. He said, this sickness is not unto death, but to the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Now, they have a word, they have a promise, they have what they came seeking, at least in spirit, but the Bible says that Jesus gave a word and then he didn't move. Is there anyone in the room that's ever gotten a word and saw no movement? Am I the only one? Do you know how many prophecies I have written down that I'm waiting and I have a word, but I haven't seen any movement? See, this is where the true test of your faith is measured, because anybody can praise him at the healing.

Anybody can praise him when they get the word, but can you praise him in the in-between? So what happens in the in-between? Well, in the in-between, Lazarus dies. Lazarus is buried in a grave. By the time Jesus shows up, Lazarus has been dead for several days, and when he finally comes, Mary and Martha, who had the faith to come to Jesus in the first place, when they saw him show up, they didn't say, hey, healing just showed up, miracle just showed up. They started tapping their toe. Well, well, well. Look who decided to show up. And they said, you're too late. Can I just get to the good part? Jesus is never too late. He might not show up when you want him, but he's never too late. If Jesus shows up, there's an opportunity for a miracle. If Jesus shows up, a funeral is gonna turn into a resurrection. If Jesus shows up, bankruptcy can turn into multi-millions. If Jesus shows up, divorce can turn into the best marriage that you've ever had. If Jesus shows up, an addiction can turn into a deliverance. Ladies and gentlemen, if he shows up, you ought to encourage yourself. Something is about to happen.

They said, you're too late. And Jesus came to the grieving and said, your brother shall live again. And Martha gets sarcastic. She goes, oh yeah, I know, one day in the resurrection. It's in there, maybe not the air quotes, but the rest of it's in there. When the chosen does the movie on it, I'm gonna write to him and say, put air quotes in there so I look like a prophet. Oh, I know one day in the resurrection, we're all gonna fly away, oh glory. And he says to Martha, Martha, I'm not supposed to tell everyone just yet. Everyone thinks I'm Jesus, the son of Mary and Joseph, but I'm also the son of God. I am the resurrection. See, when Jesus shows up, what you need shows up because he is the resurrection. He is the resurrection. And when Jesus shows up, what you need shows up because he is what you need. He is your financial blessing. He is your healing. He is your breakthrough. He is your joy. He is your peace, hallelujah. And ladies and gentlemen, Jesus is here. How do I know it? Because I felt him when you were praising him.

How do I know it? Because he sent his word. I'm in your midst, draw closer. And if Jesus is here, anything is possible. Said, I am the resurrection. And Martha didn't say, hallelujah. She said, whatever. See, she had faith to ask, but she didn't have faith to receive. The journey caused her to lose her faith. But the Bible says, you are not to lose heart. The scripture we read about this widow that went and stood before a judge. The Bible says that the judge said, I'm gonna give her what she wants so that she'll stop asking. What was she doing? She was insisting. Take for example, this other scripture, the book of Luke chapter five, verses five through 10. I don't believe I gave it to the media, but forgive me. Luke five through 10 says, teaching about prayer, the Lord used this story. Suppose you went to a friend's house at midnight. Don't actually do this, by the way. Suppose you went to, although I did it last night, I called brother Dave at around midnight. Suppose you went to a friend's house at midnight wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. And you say to him, hey, I got a friend of mine

who just arrived for a visit and I have nothing for him to eat. to eat and suppose he calls out from his bedroom, don't bother me, the door is locked for the night and my family and I are all in bed, I can't help you. In other words, let's make it, let's make it modern. Suppose a friend texts you and they got it on do not disturb but you click the button, deliver it anyway. Yeah, there is a button that does that. I tell you this, though he won't do it for friendship's sake if you keep knocking long enough, he'll get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence. And so I tell you, keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be open to you for everyone who asks receives and everyone who seeks finds. And so everyone who knocks, the door will be open. That's how Jesus taught us to come to him in prayer. I wanna encourage a mom and a dad right now who has some issues at home with that son or that daughter, don't you stop knocking on heaven's door for that boy or for that girl. Don't you let addiction be louder than the knocking of your prayer. You keep coming before the throne. You keep praying and saying, I know my son's gonna be delivered.

I know my daughter's gonna be delivered. It is written in the word of the, it's written in the word of God. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. And my son was baptized. My daughter was baptized and I'm believing they're gonna be saved. And your word says that if we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, not only will I be saved, but my whole house will be saved and I'm knocking on heaven's door and I'm believing that my family's gonna be saved. You keep on knocking. You keep on praying. God gave me a testimony of this last, just yesterday. From the time I left the airport in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the time that I finally made it to Marion, Illinois, with no exaggeration, I could have flown to Tokyo yesterday. That's how long it took me to get here. 11 hours of flight delays, four hours from St. Louis to get to Marion. I could have landed in Tokyo. Yes, oh yes, I could have. Every, I had, it was one of the worst travel days that I've had in 27 years of traveling. There was storms in Charlotte, storms in St. Louis, and then the man of God, hallelujah, gets to St. Louis and all the man of God wanted some ribs from Pepe's. And so, those are my favorite ribs.

I haven't gotten them since before the pandemic. And so I called from the airport, please save me a slab of ribs. I get in the line at Pepe's. I waited 25 minutes in that blessed line and then they come out, sorry, sorry, we've run out of ribs. I said, I hate the devil. Trying to steal my joy. I said, but devil, you're a liar. You might block me at ribs, but I'll go to Emo's Pizza, get me a large pi-ah-tah-bah, and just eat it all by myself. Watch this, devil. Get in the car, start driving this way and somewhere in Ida, Illinois. That place, somewhere around there. Ina? Oh, Ina, I was talking about her sister, Ida. I was over there, see, you don't know. I had a blowout in my car. I was in the back seat of my car. I had a blowout in my rental car. So I call, I'm broken down. This is probably why National couldn't help me last night. I didn't know if I was in Ida or Ina. I'm just stuck. No spare tire in the rental, God bless modern technology. And so they said, sir, there's nothing open at this hour of the night.

So what we're gonna have to do is send a tow truck for you to tow the car back to St. Louis and we're gonna have to take you back to the St. Louis airport to get another rental car to get you to where you need to be. Lovely. But I got the joy, joy, joy. No, I didn't have the joy. I forgot about that song last night. So I sat on the side of the road somewhere between Ina and Ida, Illinois, broken down, waiting on a tow truck that never arrived. I finally get a text message. Sorry, there are no providers in your area. And I don't know what to do. I'm not certain how I'm supposed to solve this. Do I call 911 for, I don't really know what to do. And there was this little pump in the trunk. And so I said, well, I hooked it up and you can hear the. The tire is hissing, I don't have like a screw. I have, I don't know, I don't know a lot about cars, but whatever, the tire is hissing at me. I mean, it's, at this point, I think it's the devil himself, that old snake bells above, just psst, and I'm like, I rebuke you. I mean, I'm just, shoulda seen, I was putting on a whole show on the side of the road. I'm trying to put air in the tire, and it's just hissing. You can't even put air in it, and I just, I sat out there,

and after about a half hour of sitting, I got out of my car, and I did what, I'm not a mechanic, forgive me, but I'm a preacher, and so you make fun of me, but I did what I know to do. I laid hands on that car. I laid hands on that car. I said, Lord, I need you to help me right now. I need to get to this revival, and I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere. I don't know if I'm in Ida or Ina, or Lord, I don't know where I am, but I've heard stories, Lord, about Ida and Ina. Lord, I just, I laid hands on the car. I said, Lord, I need an answer. Lord, I need your help right now. Lord, help me. Help me to at least be able to get to a gas station or to the hotel. I'm asking you to help me, and I got out of the car one more time, and I just went, and I don't know why, just got back in the trunk, and there in the corner of the trunk is a little canister, and I, what's this? And I pull it out. It says tire sealant. I said, well, let's see what this does, and so I read the instructions. Do you know that there's a blessing in reading instructions? That's a whole other sermon,

but I hooked up the tire sealant to the pump, and I put it on the tire, and sure enough, it got it sealed enough where I got up to 10 DPI. Listen to me talking like I know what I'm talking about. I got it pumped up enough that I started driving about 35 miles an hour down the highway, and I got myself, what was the town that I got? Mount Vernon. I got myself to Mount Vernon after about 20 minutes. I got myself to Mount Vernon, and I pulled into a gas station, and I said, is there anyone open in this area that can help me? They said, sir, everyone is closed. I said, do you got a pump that I can at least try to put air in the tire? And I went over to the air pump, and I said, Lord, I'm asking you for a miracle. Lord, forgive me if I shouldn't be praying about cars and praying about tires, but I'm asking, Lord, I gotta get to Marion, Illinois. I got to preach a revival. They stopped inviting me in the winter because every time I come, there's a blizzard and an ice storm. Lord, they invited me in what's supposed to be the good time, and now I'm gonna bring another excuse. Next time I come, I have to come in a helicopter. Lord, I'm asking you, Lord,

we can't afford the helicopter. Lord, we need help. Lord, I'm asking you, I need you to make a way. It was just a simple prayer. Lord, I need you to make a way. Well, I'm here to tell you that I put air in the tire, and that tire held all the way till I got to the hotel, and when I pulled into the hotel, it started going, ssssss. Ssssss. I woke up this morning to a flat tire, but God answered my simple prayer. I said, Lord, just get me to the hotel. I was insisting in prayer all the way down that highway. Lord, I just gotta get to that hotel. I just gotta get to that hotel, and guess what? He did exactly what I asked for. He got me to this hotel. I wanna encourage someone today that feels like their marriage is just ssssss. Lord, just help me get to marriage counseling. Lord, just help me to get to, I'm telling you, the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous might just be the trick that you need. Now, if that's not all, when I got to the hotel, I called my wife, I said, Gina, you won't believe what I've lived through. Devil stole me of my ribs. Devil broke me down on,

because, you know, it's always the devil's fault. I told her, I said, Gina, I have had the worst travel day, and I was telling her everything I lived through and everything I was going through, and she said, Tony, that's crazy. She said, I've been at a service tonight at my mom and dad's church. She said, what time did that happen? And I told her what time it happened. She said, Tony, she said, the evangelist was preaching tonight, and in the middle of his sermon, he stopped, and he said, Sister Gina, is Brother Tony traveling right now? She said, yes, I believe he's traveling. He said, I feel from the Spirit of the Lord that we're to pray traveling mercies over him right now. He needs traveling mercies. He needs, listen, like the old song says, someone got another prayer through. Someone touched the Lord on my behalf. I want to encourage someone today to insist in prayer. You just never know. You might be one prayer away from a miracle. You might be one prayer away from a breakthrough, and I stand here today thankful that there was a church in Tennessee that was praying for me and lifting me up in prayer, and while their prayer touched my prayer,

their prayer, my prayer touched heaven, and heaven touched the earth, and if God did it for me, God'll do it for you. Give him praise today. Hallelujah. You're telling me that God cares about my flat tire more than he cares about your formerly in Jesus name addicted son or daughter. You're telling me God cares more about flat tires than healing you from cancer, fibromyalgia and everything else that has afflicted you. If he'll do it for a tire, he'll do it for your kidney, he'll do it for your liver, he'll do it for your marriage, he'll do it for your money. Come on somebody, it's time to press in. It's time to insist in faith. I'm on the side of a miracle. I'm on the other side of a breakthrough. God's about to do what only God can do. Come on, give him praise if you believe it. Hallelujah. Heaven responds to holy pressure. That widow kept asking that friend kept knocking and I want to clear up so that there not be any misunderstanding here today. It's not that you're trying to convince God is sometimes you got to convince you. You got to convince you I don't have a plan C and D and B. I got Jesus. I'm sticking to this. I'm not convincing God. I'm standing on what God has already promised. I'm speaking in faith so that my mind since there's life and death in the tongue, I'm speaking the word of life so that I can convince my mind to put its trust in God. Insistent prayer isn't begging. It's enforcing the covenant of the word of God. I come to him. This is why I want to encourage you especially well, new and old

believer, but if you're a new believer, I want to encourage you to buy one of these. You can get them on Amazon and if you can't buy one, we'll give you one for free. Amen. You need to mount now don't just buy it, read it. You need this is like the life's warranty right here. You you will learn this and memorize this and you will get promises on the inside of you that you can then enforce in prayer. When you're sick in your body, don't go to WebMD before you go to the word of God. When you're sick in your body, you pray and you say, Lord, I thank you for it is written that by your stripes we are healed. And I thank you that you took stripes on your back for my healing. And I insist in prayer right now that I'm healed in the name of Jesus. When you have a financial need, you insist in prayer. Father, I thank you that your word says that my God shall supply my every need according to his riches in glory. And so Lord, I thank you that that promise is enforced over my life and I'm going to receive what I need. That's how you insist in prayer. And when you do that, you're in people that don't stop praying, or let me say, I'm getting tongue twisted. I'm getting excited. People that stop praying, usually are people that don't actually believe that God can do what they're praying for. And I'm here to encourage you, pray without ceasing. Now it's not just what you say, it's what you do. So insistent faith requires insistent prayer, but it also requires insistent action. I have to show through my actions. Think of the woman that had the issue of blood. She had a need. She needed God, but she, she said in her mind, if I could just touch the hem of his garment, but she didn't just think it, she did it. It's not just the thought pattern. It's I'm going to do it. The Bible says that the kingdom of God suffers violence and the

violent take it by force. Faith doesn't polite, excuse me. Excuse me, marijuana. Would you please let my son go? Not a praying mama. Praying mama says marijuana. I'll give you to the count of three. Insistent faith says no, no, no, no, no, no. My son doesn't belong to addiction. My daughter doesn't belong to the world. No, no, no. I don't belong to bankruptcy. I don't belong to poverty. I don't belong to lack. Insistent faith says, and then does what's needed to demonstrate their faith. Stop waiting for permission. Grab what's yours in Jesus name. So see, faith requires action. Isaac sowed in the time of famine because he was insistent in his covenant. Who sows in famine? Faith people. Who does that? It only faith people. Anyone can give in abundance, but it takes people of faith. They'll give in a time of famine. They'll praise in a time of transition. They'll maintain their prayer life in a time of warfare, and they'll have joy when there's fear all around. And if you'll do that, you'll be like Isaac, who reaped 100 fold because he he sowed in faith. Faith says lack doesn't control my life. Anxiety doesn't control my life. When you act in faith, you're telling your future. I do whatever your affliction is. I defy my affliction through faith. So it's word.

It's action. And I promise I'm going to start landing this airplane. And it's how you think. Psalms 62 and five. Says, let all let all that I am wait quietly before the Lord, for my hope is in him. I'm meditating on him. I'm thinking about his goodness. I'm reminding myself of what the Lord has done. And what what am I doing? I'm creating expectation, expectation. Rod Parsley said expectation is the birthplace of the miraculous. Expectation is the womb of manifestation. God responds to that kind of faith. Expectation doesn't lower the standard. Expectation believes God is going to do what he said he's going to do. Now, let me leave you with this. And then I know you all have reservations that. Steak and shake, and so I want to get you over there with their. Let me let me encourage someone today. Just because it hasn't happened yet, does it mean it won't happen? There are things I'm holding on to. That happened that haven't happened yet. But I wake up every day and I say today might be the day. Today could be the day. And then when my faith really gets stirred up, I say today will be the day. There's things I'm believing the Lord for in the next two weeks. There are certain things I need God to do in the next two weeks. Humanly possible, I can't do it.

But with God, all things are possible. And the next I'm talking, it ain't Lord, anytime you want to do. I mean, if you don't want to wait two weeks, that'd be cool with me. I've already lived through a lot yesterday. If you want to make tomorrow Miracle Monday, I mean, that'd be beautiful. Just saying a terrific Tuesday, a wow Wednesday. I rebuke terrible Thursdays and no more frightening Fridays. There's the I need God to and it hasn't happened yet, but that doesn't mean today might not be the day. So I wake up with expectation. I don't wake up looking for trouble, I wake up looking for blessing. There's a prophet in the Bible named Elijah, who told his servant to go look for a cloud of rain seven times. That young man kept coming back. No cloud, no cloud, no cloud on the seventh time, maybe just to appease Elijah, he said, I mean, I think I saw one. It's about this big. Naaman was sick in his body, but he dipped seven times in a river. Joshua walked around Jericho seven times because expectation requires words, thoughts and action. So today I'm going to invite you to stand with me all over this house. That's your faith action to know that this sermon is actually coming to an end. And I want you to agree with me and faith. Now, everyone in the room has a different thing they're believing God for. I acknowledge there's some people in the room. Life's real good. You're not believing for much except another day. Amen. You know, when you go to sleep, you go into like a semi coma.

It's no big deal that you woke up today and you're like, I don't need nothing. Well, you need to wake up tomorrow. There are people in this room that are believing for. I'm. big miracles in their family, their children. I keep coming back to that. Their marriage, their finances, their job, business owners that have more deficit than you have vision right now, people seeking direction. Maybe someone that went to a doctor and the doctor said, I've done all that I can do. And you came to this service not knowing that Pastor McKinney's Colombian cousin was gonna come preach to you about flat tires, proving that a preacher can get a sermon out of anything. But I wanna encourage you to insist in faith. I wanna encourage, just say this with me. Say, today might be the day. One more time, today might be the day. I don't know what you're believing God for, but today might be the day. Today might be, this might be the week. This might be the month. Healing, breakthrough, prodigals returning, revival, growth. Here's what I know about faith. Insistent faith is gonna give you access to doors that were previously closed. Acceleration, because the delays are going to cease. Cease, increase, authority, answers. So for every Jacob that's been wrestling,

you're about to win. For every blind Bartimaeus, you're about to be healed. For every Elijah praying for rain, it's about to rain. And for everyone in this church that's been praying, I'm talking to prayer partners, you've been agreeing with someone for something. You're just like the early church that was praying for Peter to be released from jail. And I'm just believing that while someone's praying, you're gonna hear a knock on the door. And what you're praying for is gonna walk right into your prayer meeting. This isn't the season to back up. Ladies and gentlemen, we are in a supernatural season. This is time to press in, push through, and take hold. So here's my declaration. I will not stop praying until I see it. I will not stop believing until it manifests. I will not stop giving until my seed becomes a harvest. And I will not stop expecting until the windows of heaven are open for me. Now, I don't know what you need from the Lord. I know, I know, no, we still have time. I did good. They didn't even put the countdown clock on me. Normally, there's a red light blinking at me. Go home, no, I'm teasing, they don't do that to me. But before we leave this house, if you're believing the Lord for something, we'll do it two ways,

because I know we have limited space, but if you are in need of a miracle today, doesn't matter physical, spiritual, financial, your marriage, your family, whatever, any kind of a miracle, if you're in need of a miracle, at the count of three, if you're able to, I wanna encourage you to come to this altar and stand with me here, I wanna pray over you. If you're not able to come to the altar, when we make this altar call, if you'll just raise your hand wherever you are in the sanctuary, I wanna pray and believe that God's about to pour out miracles all over this room. I also feel led before I make that call. We saw earlier in the service, maybe two individuals that were baptized for the remission of their sins. If you've never been water baptized, or you don't remember your baptism, maybe you were baptized as an infant or a baby, I want you to know that there's true, true remission of sin in the waters of baptism. I'm telling you, God'll do something for you. My dad used to baptize people with their cigarette packs, and they'd come out of the water with soggy cigarettes, but more importantly than that, the addiction to nicotine would be broken. Thank you, God. I dare you to get baptized with your vape

and see if the Lord doesn't deliver you from that wretched device. If you've never been water baptized, I want you to know, well, I don't know, but I'm just gonna say it in faith. This church will baptize you today. I mean, we don't say there's only one moment of the day. If you've never, in fact, just let me check, I'm an evangelist, put some lines in the water right now. If you've never been water baptized, but you feel the Lord's calling on you to be baptized today, would you raise your hand if there's anyone else? I see one young man that just raised their hand, a little nervous, but you can put it back up if you want to. Is there anyone else? Anyone else? I saw one. I didn't even do anything in the balcony. I thank the Lord for you now, for everyone else, believing the Lord for a miracle at the count of three. You say, why do I have to come to the altar? You don't have to. It's an act of faith. It's an act of faith. You're stepping out of your comfort zone and you're coming up. And it's not that there's more faith here than there is there. It's just an act. There's something it does something to your mind when you respond and you and you take that step. I like to see it this way. I'm stepping out of sickness and I'm stepping into healing. I'm I'm stepping out of a place of anxiety and I'm stepping into a place of joy. Let me encourage a parent with this prayer. Jeremiah, 31, 15 through 17. This is what the Lord says. A cry is heard in Rama. Deep anguish and bitter weeping. Rachel weeps for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children are gone. But now this is what the Lord says. Do not weep any longer, for I will reward you, says the Lord. Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy. There is hope for your future, says the Lord,

and your children will come again to their own land. If you're one of those moms and dads that's just been in a time of weeping and sorrow, step into the joy of the Lord with this altar call and believe my son is coming home. My daughter is going to be saved. Whatever it is you need from the Lord. One, two, three. Would you answer now? Answer now. Answer now in prayer. Answer now in faith. Answer now in praise. Hallelujah. To those of you coming for your children, let me give you another verse that I pray. It's out of the book of Proverbs chapter three. Except everywhere it says child, I actually speak their names. My child doesn't lose sight of common sense and discernment. My child, my child hangs on to them for they will refresh their soul. They're like jewels on a necklace. They keep your they keep you safe on your way and your feet will not stumble. Therefore, I can go to bed without fear. I can lie down and sleep soundly. I don't need to be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked. For the Lord is my children's security and he will keep their foot from being caught in a trap. Hallelujah. That's covenant enforcing praying right there. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There's a few more that need to come. I'm just waiting on you. This is a house of miracles. And we bring everything to the feet of Jesus. Everything in the name of Jesus. Someone who's curing is starting to diminish. Cancer diagnosis. I specifically hear the word lymphoma in my spirit right now. Upon the authority of the Word of God, where it is written that by his stripes we are healed. I rebuke all affliction, disease and infection. I speak healing to your organs, to your blood, to your lymph nodes. Healing to the bones and to the flesh. to the nervous system. Upon the authority and the power that's in the blood of Jesus, and in the name of Jesus, be healed this very moment, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. May your limbs be loosened right now. Severe arthritis come out of your fingers

Now the things that we know to call out, but then there's things where the doctor says, I don't know what it is. I don't know where it came from. When you can't pinpoint it, I believe it's the spirit of infirmity. So I take authority over the spirit of infirmity right now. I command you to release your grip off of their body and off of their organs. You have about 30 seconds to pack up all of your side effects. Come off of them now in the name of Jesus. Come out of them in the name of Jesus. Loose them and let them go in Jesus' mighty name. Come on, come alive right now. Come alive right now. Come alive right now. Come alive in the name of Jesus. Healing come upon you now. Come alive. Oh, come alive. I pray that you'd open up the windows of heaven, Almighty God, and pour down a blessing that we don't have room enough to contain. I pray to the one that's been battling lack and poverty, more bills than they have money, have not been able to find a stable job that provides what they need and more. Father, I pray that this be the season. Hallelujah. In fact, I insist on it in faith. This is the season of breakthrough. This is the season of overflow. This is the season of abundance. This is the time for prosperity to come upon the people of God. For those believing for their family,

it is written, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you and your house shall be saved. Lord, everyone in my house is going to heaven. Not a chance anyone can go to hell. Not a chance, some are gonna backslide and if they did, they're coming back. They're sliding right back into the kingdom. I declare it, I insist, I insist. My children will serve the Lord. My son will prophesy. My daughter will sing. My children will speak with tongues. My grandchildren are gonna be raised in the house of God. They won't serve Buddha. They won't serve Muhammad. They won't serve the things of this world. They'll lift their hands to the only true and saving God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, come on right now in faith.
