You’re Part of the Family | Crossroads Reels

We are so far from Earth and looking back at, you know, the beauty of creation. I think that, for me, one of the really important personal perspectives that I have up here is I can really see Earth as one thing. In all of this emptiness, this is a whole bunch of nothing, this thing we call the universe. You have this oasis, this beautiful place that we get to exist together, whether you believe in God or not. This is an opportunity for us to remember where we are, who we are, and that we are the same thing and that we got to get through this together. What a perspective, that from 250,000 miles away, what is abundantly clear and true is that we are the same. We are one. And you know what? That's true for the church. What Jesus came to shape and form is a family. He came to reconcile all of the people who are different into one family, not just so that the family would enjoy their own experience together, but that they would be radically generous and invite people everywhere to say there is a place for you at the family of God.
