00:03So you're in a group of guys and you're like, "You know what, man? My boss is getting on my nerves. "You know what I'm gonna do on Monday? "I'm gonna walk into the office. "I'm gonna tell my boss." And they're like, "Yeah, man, you should do that "'cause you're getting disrespected there. "We're with you." No, no, no, no. Let me tell you, you need somebody who loves you enough to say, "That's dumb." (audience groans) Don't do that. I love the verse in Proverbs 27, 17. This says, "As iron sharpens iron, "one man sharpens another, or one woman sharpens another." Real friends sharpen you. Real friends are not just yes men, or yes women in your life. Real friends are willing to introduce friction into the relationship because they love you, because they're for you, not because they're against you. If you don't have friends who introduce friction, you don't have friendships. You might have well-wishers, you might have fans, you might have surface-level friendships, but you don't have a friend.
