The resurrection didn’t just happen to Christ. It happened to you in Him.

Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. (Romans 4:25 NKJV)

Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God]. (Romans 4:25 AMPC)

He declared all humanity justified. The resurrection was God’s divine receipt that sin had been totally deal with.

For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised; And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is mere delusion [futile, fruitless], and you are still in your sins [under the control and penalty of sin]; And further, those who have died in [spiritual fellowship and union with] Christ have perished (are lost)!” (1 Corinthians 15:16-18 AMPC)

The word world in these scriptures is Kosmos and it means “ to obtain, take care of, to provide for, to bring or to receive the world”.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (I John 2:2 NKJV)

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29 NKJV)

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. (Hebrews 2:9 NKJV)

Everyone is man in KJV.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17 NKJV)

So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. (Hebrews 9:28 NKJV)

Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him. (Hebrews 9:28 AMPC)

When was the first time He came? When He was born and second time was after the resurrection.

You all have been given this wonderful gift to be in Christ.

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). (2Corinthians 5:17-19 AMPC)

Or have you forgotten that all of us who were immersed into union with Jesus, the Anointed One, were immersed into union with his death? Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life. For since we are permanently grafted into him to experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts. Could it be any clearer that our former identity is now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we would not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin’s power. Obviously, a dead person is incapable of sinning. And if we were co-crucified with the Anointed One, we know that we will also share in the fullness of his life. And we know that since the Anointed One has been raised from the dead to die no more, his resurrection life has vanquished death and its power over him is finished. For by his sacrifice he died to sin’s power once and for all, but he now lives continuously for the Father’s pleasure. So let it be the same way with you! Since you are now joined with him, you must continually view yourselves as dead and unresponsive to sin’s appeal while living daily for God’s pleasure in union with Jesus, the Anointed One. Today on power in the word guys, we got to get a different mindset of what we're thinking You're in Christ whether you know it or not. You've been in Christ when you were sinning Humongous are doing all kinds of things. You were doing you were still in Christ Amy You were still in Christ when you didn't know because nobody told you were they told you were outside of Christ and you believed it They told me I was lost all my life and I really won't lost. I didn't have wisdom of who it was I Believe what the church told me. I had to go to church and find out I was lost Welcome to power in the word Resurrection of Jesus Christ is very unique, but has the church missed the most significant element of the resurrection Well today dr. Narsen shows us in the Word of God that we rose with him into eternal life And our salvation is secure if we only believe in Christ It's a powerful message and you don't want to miss it be encouraged You know, we've been talking about the resurrection over the last two or three services, but the night we're going to talk about Your resurrection identity in other words. I want to talk to you about What Jesus really done, you know We've heard all the stories about he resurrected the third day and and we resurrected with him and all that but you know last night God just kind of showed me a little glimpse of what the resurrection was really like and he said this to me So I just want to I'm going to take exactly what he said the resurrection didn't just happen to Christ it happened to you in him Now I want you to think about that a minute the resurrection just didn't happen to Christ it happened to you in him Now I want you to really think about that let that soak in because we're going somewhere tonight That the church is not ready to handle. Okay Go to Romans chapter 4 verse 25 And we're going to get going here. I want to talk to you about your resurrection identity What really happened now, we know and I just said the resurrection didn't just happen to Christ It happened to you in him and you got to really get a revelation of that It didn't just happen see because we all know he resurrected But did you know that that it resurrected you in him? It resurrected you in him because you were in him and chosen to him before the foundation of the world We've got to get out away from the mindset of this religious mentality that you had an experience of God and you got saved a certain

day You were saved way before you knew it and you just got a glimpse of it one day and got a revelation of it one day Amen, who has was delivered up because of our offenses now I want to I want to stop right here just a minute because I want to break this down and I want you to get This tonight because I want you to see that the scripture tells the story Okay, who was delivered up because of our offenses in other words because is a translation of Account of in other words. He was delivered up on the count of our offenses, right? You know that right on the count of our offenses. He was delivered up now stay with me Please stay with me and he was raised on the count of our justification Now I want you to stop a minute that doesn't say on the count of his justification That says on the count of mine in your justification. So you and I was declared righteous at his resurrection Nobody in here was born, but you were Because you were in Christ in the resurrection in The crucifixion in the ascension and in the being seated So you came from Christ and you're going back to where you came from Now stay with me because you got you got to get this revelation. He was delivered up on the count of our offenses He was raised up on the count of our justification. He wasn't trying to be justified. He was trying to justify you in him Now let's go to this scripture in the Amplified Classic because I want you to see this Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification our acquittal Making our account balances and absorbing us from all guilt before God. In other words, what was he doing? Every bit of guilt that you had he took Now you say that uh-huh, but you don't believe that because if he did you'd never repent again You would never talk about sin again You'd never be sin conscious of sin again if he took everything away from you and he took all your guilt you can't have it Now now think about that a minute before you say amen because think about he removed every bit of guilt that you'd ever have Because if your guilt hadn't been removed he couldn't have resurrected Because the resurrection didn't happen to Christ. It happened to you in him So everybody in the entire world was resurrected

Everybody in the entire world was made whole. Everybody in the whole entire world was made upright. Everybody in the whole entire world was prosperous. Everybody in the whole entire world was healed. Everybody. Not just a few of them. Everybody. Right? Now, I want you to see this. I want you to go with me to 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 16. Now, I want you to understand something. God declared all of humanity justified. He has never seen you a sinner. It took the church to tell you were. And we've been misled for so long and we're wondering why Jesus isn't coming back. I want you to really think about this. The resurrection was God's divine receipt to me and you that we've been delivered and whole. Now, if you're sitting around saying you've got a problem, it's because you don't know you've been delivered from it. And you say, well, wait a minute, pastor, I've got to deal with this flesh. I understand that. But we've got to get a mindset of who we are spiritually or we're always going to battle this soulish man. Because that's the part of him that died and the spirit resurrected him three days later. We know the story, right? But if you remember something in John chapter 3, here's what it says. Nicodemus comes to Jesus and he says, how do we enter the second time into our mother's womb? If you notice, Jesus didn't answer that question. He was talking about a physical aspect and Jesus jumped immediately to the spiritual thing. And he said, you must be, King James says, born again. But that's what the original translation doesn't say that. He said, you must be born from above. You must be born from above. Read the text. You must be born from above. He was telling Nicodemus, you're already born again. You don't know it, brother. See, the church is not ready for that. We have got to go through our rituals of religion to keep us tied up because we don't have any idea who we are. But God declared all of humanity righteous. Now, watch this. That sin had been totally dealt with. See, we've got that. We realize our sins are done away with.

We understand they're done away with until we do one. Right? They're done away as long as we don't do one. But you can't do one if you know who you are. Now, watch this. The entire cosmos is the object of God's affection. The entire world is the object of God's affection. He just didn't come for the church. He come for all, the whole entire world. Now, go to 1 Corinthians 15. For if the dead are not raised... Now, watch that. He said that first. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. He said if the dead ain't raised, then Christ can't be raised. Why? Because He couldn't be resurrected if we won't resurrect Him because we were in Him before the foundation of the world. And not only did the resurrection just happen to Christ, it happened to us in Christ. So, there's no way that He could resurrect and we ain't resurrected. It's impossible. There's no way you can be in sin because John said, I know a man, I know a lamb that's coming to take away the sin of the world. Now, watch verse 17. Stay with me. And if Christ has been raised, your faith is mere delusions and you are still in your sins under the control of the penalty of sin. If Christ has not been raised, then everything you're doing is worthless. You don't have any faith if He didn't rise. Now, let's read verse 18. And further, those who have died in spiritual fellowship and union with Christ have died or lost. Now, if you notice something here, it says,

and further, those who have died in spiritual fellowship and union with Christ have perished or seen death, they're lost. But He didn't say they went to hell. But now, look what He said. Spiritual fellowship and union with Christ. I want you to go to 1 John chapter 2 verse 2. Now, watch this. And He Himself is a perpetuation for our sins. Now, perpetuation is the actual Greek word for mercy seat. In other words, He Himself is a perpetuation, our mercy seat for our sins. And not for ours only, but also for the whole world. Now, the word world in these scriptures is cosmos. And it means to obtain, to take care of, to provide for, to bring or to receive the world. So, all of humanity has been declared righteous. Right? He didn't just die for the church like we've been told. He died only if you believe. No, He died whether you believe it or not. He made you whole whether you believe it or not. You can go through your entire life and He died for you. You say, well, Pastor, prove that. Well, let's go to Galatians chapter 1. You got to turn out the way it says. It says that the Spirit, the Holy Spirit ignited the Christ in me. He didn't say Christ too. He said the Christ in me. Now Paul was persecuting the church when all this was going on and he said the Christ was inside me the whole time. Why? He understood the union of what happened on the cross and the resurrection. The church hasn't gotten it yet. How many of you know that he died for the whole world?

Not for yours only, but also for the entire humanity has been declared righteous. Why? Because you were in him in the resurrection. Now, let's go to John 1.29. The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and he said, Behold the Lamb of God who is going to take away the sin of the cosmos. The entire humanity's sin is going to be removed. Now listen, I'm not the smartest tool in the shed, but I do know some things. And what I do know is that if he took the sin of the whole world, then they can't be in here. You say, well Pastor, why is people doing what they're doing? Because they don't know who they are and they've been told who they ain't. We don't need to go around telling people they're on the way to hell. We need to go around telling people, you're saved man, you just don't know it yet. But Bible says in Romans chapter 1 verse 4, very plain, that he was declared the Son of God by the resurrection. It says in Romans 2 and 4 that the goodness of the Lord lead a man to repentance, not tell him they're going to hell. How many of you know that drug addict on the streets got Christ in him? He was resurrected just like you and I were. That guy that's been through murder, molestation, all kinds of stuff, he's still got Christ in him. Now that's hard for our minds to grow because of how we grew up in church. Think about it. This ain't going to preach to normal folk. You ain't normal. Now go to Hebrews 2 and 1. Go to Hebrews 2 and 1 with me. But we see Jesus who was made a little bit lower than the angels, than Elohim. The word angels there is Elohim. For the suffering of death crowned him with glory and honor that he by the grace of God might taste death for how many people? How many people? Now the King James says this, that he might taste death for man.

M-A-N. Now God don't distinguish between gender. So what was he really saying? That he tasted death for everyone. Now if he tasted death, you can't go there. Guys, we got to get a different mindset of what we're thinking. You're in Christ whether you know it or not. You've been in Christ when you were sinning, harmonious, doing all kinds of things you were doing, you were still in Christ. Amen? You were still in Christ when you didn't know it because nobody told you you were. They told you you were outside of Christ and you believed it. They told me I was lost all my life and I really wasn't lost. I didn't have the wisdom of who I was. I believed what the church told me. I had to go to church to find out I was lost. Let's go to John 3, 16. Now this is a good one. For God so loved the world that he did what? He loved the what? How many of you know that God's passion was the world? He said, I'm going to get them all. I'm going to redeem them all. I'm going to deliver them all. I'm going to lift all of them up. I'm going to make every one of them righteous. I so love this world that I love humanity and mankind that I want to deliver them all. That's the kind of grace Jesus we're talking about. We're not talking about this mad trying to strike us down. If you'd have been taught as a Muslim your whole life, you'd be a Muslim. Even though by the blood of Jesus you're delivered. You've just never been told you were. They've been told that the Christians and the Jews are their enemies.

And they're the devil and they need to be killed. And so they grow up thinking that. But isn't it amazing? I've heard hundreds of testimonies of how Jesus just walked into the room and has ministered to them one on one. I told you about the blogger guy just a few weeks ago that was telling everybody that it was silly to serve Jesus and it was crazy and he was an atheist. He got sick and almost died and God appeared to him in his room and now he's a believer. He went on blog and I read it. He said, I apologize that I misled y'all. I had a spiritual awakening. Nobody preached to him. Jesus come and dealt with him. Why? Because he was already in him and he spoke out of him. He didn't speak to him. He spoke out of him. That's the spiritual awakening everybody's looking for. Think about it a minute. He's inside of everybody walking around. That drunk guy on the street, he's in them. Paul said the Holy Spirit revealed the Christ in me. I love that. Let's go to verse 17. But God did not send his son into the world to do what? Condemn the cosmos. But that the cosmos through him might be? Saved. Guys, come on. Saved from what? The damning nature. He's delivered you. You are not a sinner anymore. We've got to get our mindset separated from sin consciousness that we're God conscious. But we base it on what we do and not what Jesus did. He's a finished product. He finished it or he didn't. Now go with me to Hebrews 9 and 28. I ain't got to where I want to get to yet. So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of how many? Many, many, many, many. Now the word many in the actual Greek is innumerable.

How many angels did he have in the book of Hebrews? Innumerable amount of angels. That means you can't count them bad boys. There's 7.1 billion people in the world and Jesus died for every one of them. My great, great, great, great grandchildren that ain't even got here yet, he died for them previously because they were in him through me through a generation. Oh man, Christ, listen, he's bad now. Jesus ain't playing. Look what he said. Now watch this. To those who eagerly wait for him, he will appear a second time apart from sin for salvation. Now, we've been misleading right here. When was Jesus' first appearance? When he was born. When was his second appearance? At the resurrection. He will appear a second time apart from sin. In other words, he ain't coming back about sin no more the next time when he resurrected because he had conquered the sin. He come back now to tell you and let you know that you're a benefactor of salvation. That's what he's talking about. He ain't talking about when he comes back and busts the sky and steps on a cloud and the dead and Christ shall rise and those that remain shall be caught up together with him in the Lord. At any rate, you're already in the Lord. Amen? Now think about it a minute. The second time he appears, is Jesus coming back? Absolutely. But he's in us, me and you. In me and you.

In me and you. But he's not coming back to judge us for sins. He's already conquered that. He ain't got to do that bad boy again. Now, go meet Hebrews 9 and 28 in the Amplified Classic. Even so, it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon himself and bear a burden, the sins of many, once and for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin or to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are eagerly, constantly, patiently waiting for and expecting him. Now, what did he tell them to do? He said, I want you to go tearing in the upper room until you're endured with power. And about 500 went in the upper room and after about 10 days, they got tired of waiting. Can you imagine saying people come to the church and Jesus will show up in 10 days? They won't make it. Only about 120 was in there. Right? And he peers and walks into the room and, bam, the Holy Spirit falls on the upper room and we know the rest of the story, right? And for 40 days he walks around the earth and he don't preach anything but the kingdom of God. And we don't understand that it's over. That it's done. Somebody got uptight this statement so I'm going to make it again. Smoking, drinking, doing drugs will not send you to hell. What will make you and send you to hell is death. Because it's life and it's death. There's not a place we're going, there's a place we're becoming. Now, listen to me very carefully. He has made you whole. He's made you free. The only thing you have to do is believe what he's done.

Now, what does that mean? We've taken that and made works out of it. Now, watch this. You all have been given the wonderful gift to be in Christ. It's a gift. Now, go meet 2 Corinthians 5, verse 17 and everybody knows this scripture. We are a new creature, old things have passed away and everything has come new. But I'm going to read to you an amplified classic. Therefore, when any person is engrafted into Christ, the Messiah, he is a new creation, a new creature altogether. Now, watch this. Let's go back. Therefore, if any person is engrafted into Christ, the Messiah, he is a new creation. The old creation altogether. The old previous moral spirit condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and the new has come. If anybody was in Christ, now listen to me. Let me stop right there. Anybody that's engrafted into Christ, everybody is. He said, I come to die for everybody. You got union with Christ. How could Paul say that the Holy Spirit revealed the Christ in me if he won't in him prior? If you had an Adamic nature and he died for that Adamic nature, then he'd done away with the first Adam and the last Adam overrode the first Adam and now you got what the last Adam had. You got the righteousness of God. Whether you ever believe you're righteous or not has nothing to do with it. You're righteous. But all things are from God, who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to himself, received us into favor, brought us into harmony with himself, and gave to us the ministry.

of reconciliation, that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into the harmony with him. What's the harmony? He reconciled us and brought us into himself, guys. That ain't your part of it. Your part is to believe that it's done. Your part is to believe that it's done. Your part is to believe that it's done. But see, we want to get into that guilt thing and condemnation thing and say, you know what, I've been through this and I've been through this, and we've all been through stuff because we've had bad teaching. Think about it a minute. We've had bad teaching in church. I mean, I'd go to church and they'd make you feel the flames, baby. You could feel the flames of hell. And because of that, we never could celebrate what Christ had done without making efforts and earnesting and marrying it and working for it and deserving it. And because of that, we walked in defeat. Let me read 19. It was God personally present in Christ. It was God personally present in Christ, reconciling and restoring the cosmos to favor with himself. How many... Oh, Lord Jesus. I'm about to miss my best time. It was God personally present in Christ, reconciling and restoring the cosmos to favor with himself. Not counting up or holding against men their trespasses, but counseling them and committing to us the ministry of reconciliation, of restoration to favor. In other words, it was God personally present in Christ, reconciling and restoring the whole world.

Guys, read the book. He was reconciling... It was God in Christ reconciling the whole world. He was reconciling God in Christ, reconciling the whole world. Are you an exception? You're not. Why? Because he reconciled the whole world. Now think about this just a minute. How many of you know that God was in Christ reconciling the whole world to him? Was you left out? How can I say this? I need to get this out. You're absolutely spotless, without a wrinkle, without a blemish. You're as if you have never, ever, ever, ever, ever done anything wrong. Now Hebrews is very plain where he said he can never, never leave you or forsake you. Why? Because God was in Christ reconciling the world and restoring the world to himself. Guys, do you know what he did? He fixed everything Adam had messed up in one shebang. Now watch this. You need to understand something here. I want to go to Matthew 26 verse 28. I'm almost finished. For this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for many for the remissions of sin. There's that word many again. Now I want you to understand that he was telling this is the new covenant which is shed for many for the remissions of sin. You know, I'm going to make a comment right now. God's done a finished work.

I was talking with a pastor today. He's a pastor now in South Carolina and we were talking and he said he just started a church and he was talking to me about things to do to start a church and all that kind of stuff. We were talking about grace and he's a grace preacher and we were talking about a few things and he made a comment and I believe he's probably right. He made a comment. He said this, when the most important thing in our life is truth, we'll know it. Jesus said I'm the way, the truth, and the life and John 17, 17 says the word of God is truth. Jesus said for this is my blood of a new covenant which is shed for many. It's the same many that we read about a while ago for the remission of sin. Now go to Matthew 20 and 28. Just as a son of man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his psyche a ransom for many, that innumerable. Jesus came for one reason, to serve and to be God so that you could know God and so that you could be God. Now I want you to go with me to John 12 and 32, for if I and I and when I am lifted up from the earth on the cross will draw and attract Gentiles as well as the Jews to myself. Now there's two translations it says here. He's not only going to draw the judgment of the world to himself, he's going to draw all men out of their judgment because that's the fire of God in the New Testament. So what is the fire of God? Now listen to me very carefully. Everybody believing that we're going to have a revival and there's going to be a great sweeping across the earth, and we're going to see all the glory of God. I don't believe that. Here's what I believe. I believe the judgment of God is going to be the love of God on the earth. Because here's what's going to happen, I believe,

spiritually speaking. I believe that when Jesus was on the cross, the Bible said that when I'm lifted up from the earth, from the earth, on the cross, I'll draw, I'll draw and attract all men, Gentiles as well as Jews, to myself. The sacrifice and the judgment of God came down upon Jesus for the sins of the entire world. But the love of God for the world was so strong in Christ because Christ, because God was in Christ reconciling the world. I think the love of God for the Son on the inside of Jesus was so strong that the judgment of God could not consume the love and the love was penetrating force that kept him on the cross. And I believe that's the same love that's going to penetrate the earth to where the love of God is going to be so full and so overwhelming in our lives that we're going to look at people and they look bad but we're going to see the good. I think that's what Jesus does. And I think you've got to start seeing yourself the way that he says you are and stop seeing yourself the way that you think you are. Now, go to Romans chapter 5 verse 15. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by one man's offense, how many died? Many. Much more, the grace of God and the gift by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, abound to same many. So the same many that died because of the fall of Adam is the same many that was resurrected. The Bible says let everything be established upon two or three witnesses. Let's go to verse 19.

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners. There's that word many again. How many? Enumerable. So also by one man, big M, who's big M? Jesus, obedience, many were made what? Righteous. Now, go to 1 Corinthians 15, 22 and I'm closing. Here's what it says. You're going to turn there. It said all died in Adam, all are made alive in Christ. There's people walking the streets that are drug addicts, struggling with their sexual identity, struggling with their gender. They're your brothers and sisters in the Lord. Jesus died for them. And here's what he's called us to do. Not to judge them, but to tell them who they are in Christ Jesus. So I want you to walk out of here tonight knowing that you're absolutely a prized possession. You got a trophy beside your name. You got a checkmark beside your name. You're some kind of connoisseur. You're absolutely perfect with God. You're absolutely righteous with God. You're absolutely upright with God. Listen, you're worried about something because you don't know that he'll do it. There's nothing he hasn't done.
