Today on power in the word he took the sins of the whole world Behold the Lamb of God is going to take away the sin nature the whole he took the sin nature all the world He didn't take smoking drinking doing drugs. He took the sin nature away Now everybody that was on planet Earth, and if they're on Mars or Jupiter or wherever they are he got them all He made everybody's sins removed as far as the east and the west to be remembered no more whether they acknowledge it or whether they didn't He took everybody cuz listen if there could be one sin in the earth. He couldn't have got up Welcome to power in the word The resurrection is it just a day we call Easter or is it the most significant event for all? mankind Well today dr. Norris shows us that the resurrection of Jesus Resulted in the forgiveness of sin for all people for all time It's a great message of freedom and grace you stay with us We're talking about resurrection Breakthrough amen now. What does that mean? We're gonna talk tonight? We're gonna get you to see something maybe a little bit different what you've been taught if you've been here a while You probably know what I'm some of the things I'm gonna say, but let me have you know that Jesus did not die on Friday He died today Because high Sabbath was on Wednesday, so he didn't die on Friday guys if he's died on Friday And he come up for a Sunday morning. How could he stayed in there three days? So that doesn't line up okay, so we're gonna. We're gonna laugh some things up tonight We're gonna realize what really took place and how it took place, and I'm gonna give you scripture for everything I tell you I'm not gonna tell you anything that I can't give you some scripture for you know But if you think about it if he died on Friday, and he resurrected on Sunday How can he be in a death three full days and three full nights? Because you know the Jewish cap the Jewish day starts at six o'clock at night And it goes to six o'clock the next morning and then six o'clock the following day. That's one complete day So we got to understand that their days start at night, and then it ends The next morning at six is 12 hours and then ends the next day so yeah They go from six o'clock at night to six o'clock the next day So you got to understand that that's the way the Jewish calendar works, so I'm gonna help you understand some stuff now

Let's go to first Corinthians chapter 15 verse 13 and we're gonna start there And we don't know where we're gonna end up We're gonna start right there, but if there is no resurrection of the dead then Christ is not risen now if you notice here It doesn't say Jesus It says Christ if there's no resurrection of the dead then Christ is not risen So there's no resurrection of the dead now I want to ask you a question and I want you to only start it right here in 35th verse 13 When is the resurrection of the dead is it at the end of time or is it now? Okay, so this cannot be talking about the end of time I want to clear that up so verse 14 If Christ is not risen then your preaching is empty and your faith is also empty so anyway It doesn't matter what you believe if he didn't resurrect if Christ didn't resurrect not Jesus if Christ didn't resurrect Then everything that you believe is wrong If he didn't resurrect then you can't be resurrected so all your stuff is in vain It was not him going to the cross that was so powerful It was when he got up out of the death of the cross that made it so powerful So he turned into a totally different person the one that went to the cross is not the one that got up out of death You got to stay with me the one that went to the cross is not the one that got up out of death When you went to the cross you're not the one that got up out of death you a new creature So we got to understand how this took place everything happened on the feast of the of the seventh feast in the Old Covenant So everything about that he got up. He was he died on the Passover Right first 11 when he was buried, and then when did he get up? first fruits So we got to understand what took place third day third day later. He got up now watch this verse 15 Yes, we are found false witnesses of God because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ now watch what he says guys He uses Christ every time he never one time uses Jesus got up Because he said he's gonna make this man Jesus Christ and Lord Christ and Lord he's gonna be a prophet and he's gonna be a priest and a king Whom he did not raise up if in fact the dead do not rise For if the dead do not rise then Christ is not risen now Why is he repeating himself and saying the same thing over again talking to the Corinthians?

He said if he's not dead and he didn't rise then Christ didn't rise Now watch this if the dead do not rise then Christ didn't rise that you got to understand something Romans chapter 4 verse 25 says this Now listen to me on the count of our offenses He was made a sinner Because of our justification He come out of death Now watch this read this read this scripture. Let's go back to that scripture. I just had here it is He was delivered up on the count of ours If there is no resurrection of the dead then Christ is not what who's done it first he declared you righteous it's what got him up out of the tomb guys are you with me now how many people's did he remove and make righteous it said for if the dead do not rise he said at first if the dead do not rise then Christ is not risen now go back to Romans 4 and 25 because I want you to show you a nugget here who was delivered up on the count of our offenses because the word because is on the count of and he was justified what on the count of what when Jesus died he took the sins of the whole world behold the Lamb of God that's gonna take away the sin nature of the whole he took the sin nature all the world he didn't take smoking drinking doing drugs he took the sin nature away now everybody that was on planet Earth and if they're on Mars or Jupiter or wherever they are he got them all he made everybody's sins removed as far as the east is the West to be remembered no more whether they acknowledge it or whether they didn't he took everybody cuz listen if there could be one sin in there if he couldn't have got up cuz he was declared the Son of God because of the resurrection Romans chapter 1 so he had to be the Son of God to get up out of the tomb what made him the Son of God when all of us become the Son of God now listen maybe looking at me funny because we don't understand the resurrection guys God has freed us now I'm gonna share something with you that I haven't shared with anybody not even my wife but I was going to Monday night

I had a dream and in that dream I woke up and I was covered in blood all over just my entire body was covered in blood and when I first woke up I thought man what is this real but I wasn't awake I was in a dream trying to wake up and I said Lord I don't understand what does that mean you know cuz first thing you think is all the blood of the whole world on my hands and he said no that's not what I mean he said what I mean is that's how I see you he said you're cleansed by the blood all of a sudden I'm in this dream and I look up and all of a sudden something washes down over me and all the blood is removed and I said Lord what does that mean he said I've cleansed you continuously over and over and over he said I can't there's no way son I can see a spot a wrinkle or blemish in your life because I see you through the justification of my son dying on the cross he said so you were righteous before my son got up out of the tomb he said he couldn't have got up if you just still had sin he said so don't tell people they got sin no more because if that's the case and Jesus didn't resurrect he said so when people are preaching that Jesus is still got sin in your life he said they're telling you that Jesus didn't get up he said there's more than one more than antichrist in the earth and that those that are preaching that are preaching unbelief he said because they can't be anything in that because if he and I had been full and made whole he couldn't got up he said there's no sins on the earth anywhere I said well Lord I believe that he said but I want you to convince everybody you get around that now that your purpose for the rest of your life is to preach this message of grace regardless of the opposition he said the reason you went through all this is for this reason right now he said your whole life of the battles in your life he said you ain't never settled for the easy way he said but neither did I he said but you've accepted the easy way which was through my son now what's this goes by next scripture go to my next scripture and if Christ is not risen in your faith is useless and you are still in your sins listen if he didn't rise you're still in your sins now now here's the scripture that's going to throw a nail in the coffin for some of you you ready if he's not risen you're still in your

sins but if he did rise you can't be in them hold on to your seat religious folks because it's kicking so if he resurrected there's no way you can be in your sins anymore look at 18 then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ he didn't say died we're the New Testament he's not talking about the people that are dying today he's like the people that were dead in the old covenant that were laying there asleep until Jesus come and resurrected and everybody got up you said pastor will prove that the Bible says that he brought Abraham and all them boys back with him they walked on the earth he's not talking at the end of time that he's gonna bring you out of your sleep he's talking about he's already brought you out of your sleep because you and I don't die guys are you understand what I'm saying now look at 18 then those also have fallen asleep in Christ have perished if he didn't resurrect then everybody fall fell asleep under the old covenant past but he said that's impossible that to happen because they walked on the earth with him what do you think he was trying to prove to the Jews he was trying to let the Jews know hey look guys not only did I resurrect but everybody you knew in the past got up to this is a powerful revelation it's just not this Sunday that is Easter it's bigger than that man is Christ and him resurrected everything else is done Paul said look at 19 in this life only we have hope in Christ if we are all men most one translation says most miserable in this life the only hope we have is in Christ now I don't want to shake you but if you'll notice in every one of these scriptures he never mentions Jesus it's Christ because Jesus was buried in Christ got up guys I'm telling you we need to get a revelation you say why you preaching so much because we need to get a revelation of being in Christ and not being in Jesus he gave us his name but we have that name in Jesus Christ was not his last name it's the anointing and the ability and the power of heavenly revelation and heavenly government on the earth so it means Mary Magdalene her last name won't Magdalene go me to Matthew for as Jonah this is Jesus talking for as Jonah was in was three days and three nights in the belly of

the great fish didn't say whale so will the Son of Man be not the Son of God glory be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth so Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale you know the story he didn't want to go to Nineveh so he will take him a little trip somewhere else he didn't wanna go to Nineveh and preach so he took him a little trip and got inside of the belly of a whale if you read it and get the translation of it actually Jonah had a reed wrapped around his neck and he was dead in the belly of the whale three days and three nights go study the text in the Hebrew and on the third day he spit him out the whale was symbolic of the grave and a tomb go look at the Hebrew word for great fish it's a tomb or a grave he spit him out of the sign of the past into the future into his purpose it was symbolic of Jesus in in in the tomb for three days and three nights the whale was the fish was a tomb are y'all here so you got to understand that he was spitting him out of time in the time you were saved in time past it magnified in time now so in Leviticus chapter 23 the Passover fell on high Sabbath which was a Wednesday the 50th day was Passover and and Jubilee that is when Jesus was crucified now what's this he had to be in the ground on that day before 6 p.m. on Wednesday 6 p.m. on Wednesday to 6 p.m. on Thursday is one day Thursday 6 p.m. to Friday 6 p.m. is two days Friday 6 p.m. to Saturday 6 p.m. is three days the Bible said Mary went to that tomb in the morning he got up before break a day why cuz sometime after 6 o'clock he left there cuz it was a new day guys are you realizing he had to be crucified on Wednesday night high Sabbath high Sabbath so what's this so Jesus sometime after 6 o'clock came up out of death now go me to Matthew 27 saying sir we remember while he was still alive how that deceiver said after three days I'll rise now nobody understood and had no idea what he was talking about when Isaiah was prophesying 700 years before Jesus was born that the Messiah was going to be born through the wound of a little 14 15 year old girl she was gonna come to earth and he was gonna have the government's gonna be upon his shoulders and he was gonna be great there was gonna be a government of peace that was good nobody understood that he walked

with disciples three and a half years and they still didn't understand that but I can tell you this if you know anything about numbers you know anything about Revelation a day with the Lord is is that's what a thousand years but how many of you know a thousand in the actual Greek is one year so how many of you know that Jesus only walked into power was baptized for three and a half years how long did Jesus crucifixion take place three and a half days so parallel what he was trying to tell him how long he lived once he become high priest to cut the high priest you were 30 years old once he became high priest his ministry only lasted three and a half years but look how many people he changed three and a half years. Now, his whole crucifixion took three and a half week, three and a half days, which was a parallel of the three and a half years he lived on the earth. If you do the study of the correlation between that, John only had a six-month ministry. Jesus had a 42-month ministry. Put the numbers together. 42 and 6 is 48, 4 and 8 is 12, the divine government. Everything was set up. The bear was resurrection, the power was perfect. He's a good God. And I'm telling you, this book is alive, man. This book is alive. We need to get alive. We need to act like we're somebody ready to happen. You know, I hear people talk about all the time, well, you know, revival's coming. I don't know what that means. I'm in it. Are you in it? You know what I'm talking about? You're just walking down the street, man, and you feel, you know, something's going on inside. There's something shaking in you. You listen to that bad news, and I'm telling you, there's goodness on the inside of me bubbling up. This is a good time. You know, what did the Bible say? The Bible said if Lucifer had known what he was doing and he knew what was going to happen, he would not have crucified him. He said, I wouldn't have took him out because he didn't kill him. He gave it up. He said, nobody can kill me. I got to give it up. But watch this. Watch this. Let's go to Mark chapter 8. And he began to teach them that son of man must suffer many things. Not the Son of God, the Son of Man. He only becomes Son of God because of the crucifixion, the resurrection. Guys, come on, get some

revelation here. He only becomes the Son of God after that, must suffer things, and he'd be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed. Now, the translation of the word kill there is life given up in the actual Greek. And after three days, he's gonna rise again. Nobody knew what he was talking about. Nobody knew what he was saying when he said he's gonna rise again three days. They said that deceiver said in three days he's getting up. Disciples didn't even believe it because they went and hid. They're scared they're gonna take them out too. But they couldn't kill Jesus. All the sin in the world couldn't kill him because you can't kill perfection. Go to Luke 2. Luke 2. Now it was that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to him and asking questions. Now watch this. I just never understood this scripture. How do you lose your kid for three days? I think Mary and Joseph needed some parenting skills. I'm just gonna tell you. Three days, you don't know where that junior is, and he's sitting there for three. Now watch this. He's sitting there for how many days? Guys, do you understand what he was telling his mom and daddy by being lost for three days? He wasn't lost. He was right where he was supposed to be. But the three days represented what? The death, the burial, and the resurrection. He was telling them I'm gonna be here for three days. I'm gonna come out of this tomb for three days. He was lost to his parents for three days, and then he was lost to the world for three days. But when he come up out of it, what did he have? He had the resurrecting power because now nobody was lost. Everybody was found. Not only did they believe, everybody received. So it's a parallel of everything in the scripture. Watch this. Go with me to John chapter 20. This is a John 20's good. Now the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early. She went there before daybreak, and it was still dark. See how it says it? And saw that the tomb had been taken, the stone had been taken away from the tomb. How many of you know that Joseph rolled the stone up there? It took 16 Roman soldiers to roll the stone up there. The translations of the Greek text when you go to Josephus. It says that Joseph rolled it up early. He didn't. Isn't it amazing that Joseph is the very one that was

with him at the end, and it was Joseph with him at the beginning. The Joseph that was giving birth to him was the Joseph at the end. Isn't it amazing? Joseph means what? Joshua. Messiah. Isn't it amazing that Mary was the first one to ever touch him, and Mary Magdalene was the last one looking for him when he came out. A virgin and a prostitute. Glory to God. Grace has been alive for a long time, and while it was still dark and they saw the stone had been taken away from the tomb. Now watch this. The word taken away is the word lupa in the actual Greek, and it means it had been rolled away. It had been lifted up. Why? Because everything around there had been lifted up because of the resurrection. Mary ran with two guys to get there. After the tomb was rolled away, after the stone was gone, it had been taken up. How many of you know the word taken up in the actual Greek is what's gonna happen to me and you? And we think it's gonna be at the end, but it's already been happening because we've already been taken up. The actual Greek word here is the catching away, and it's a translation of what happened to him. He was caught away. What was he caught away to? He didn't go anywhere. He descended, and then he ascended. But he was still in the tomb while he descended. Listen to me. I'm fixing to shake you. The body didn't go anywhere. The spirit went somewhere. and it descended and he said look guys I want to tell you I got the keys of death hell and the grave it's over come with me well pastor did he get everybody I'm gonna leave it in your case he said because everybody was justified let me tell you something let me tell you something if he didn't get everybody then he had to stay in the tomb holy beat of God because the sin is what kept him there if he and everybody didn't man I'm happy y'all just don't know how happy I am cuz Mary Magdalene there before dark it was dark she went there early before Sunday morning and he was gone now what's this so Peter and John went running up there after Mary come out said he's gone they went running up there Peter had the keys to the power and John had Jesus's heart or a man Peter had power John had his presence Peter represented faith and John represented grace now go to verse

three and four and five what's this this is good Peter therefore went out and the other disciple see Peter therefore went out and the other disciple who's the other disciple I like what John writes when he talks about himself he said I'm the one he loved and we're going to the tomb therefore went out and with the other with the other disciple they were going to the tomb verse 4 so they both ran together and the other disciple John he outrun Peter right and came to the tomb first but he couldn't go in because the oldest one had to go in the tomb first how many of you know it was wrong for the woman to go in a tomb it was not wrong for the woman to go in the tomb unless in the tomb was empty because they were going to go what was she going for to put to barrel his body get his body ready for death guys this is good and so the Bible said that they both ran together and the other disciple outrun Peter John must have been fast now tell you what John was John was more in love than Peter was if you notice anything about John John was in the details people that don't represent love don't see the small details that are left around because we're looking for evidence of the physical Peter always want the physical John saw the evidence of what Jesus left behind for him to understand why it happened he knew him personally look at verse 5 and he who's the he John stooping down looking in saw the linen cloths lying there yet he did not go in that was Peter Peter went and looked in but he didn't go in got me to verse 7 and the handkerchief that had been around his head not lying with the linen cloths but folded together in a place by itself now you know the story here but for some of you that don't I'm gonna elaborate a little bit the napkin been folded was symbolic that Jesus was not happy with the service a Jewish custom is when you leave a table and you don't you're not happy with the food you just fold the napkin up leave it on the table they know you're not happy with the service and you're not coming back Jesus folded the napkin Peter never even saw it not folded up John did because John was in the details people that are passionate about love are always in the details the little things matter because Peter looked in and he didn't understand what the napkin was doing folded there John did he had

received and would not be coming back to that place now go meet a verse 17 Jesus said to her do not cling to me for I have not yet ascended to my father but but go where oh how could they be his brothers how could they be his brothers nowhere in the New Testament do you find anybody brother unless they're born again he said I want you to go to my brethren and say to them I am ascending to my father and your father and to my God and to your God and why did he say both of those because one of them represented the new covenant and the other represented the old covenant because under the old covenants you can only know him as God as Jewish people and in a new covenant you can only know him as father or you don't know him if you know him as God you still are the old covenant 18 Mary Magdalene came and told his disciples that she had seen the Lord and that he had spoken these things to her she had seen the Lord ain't it amazing he appears to a woman first because the men were scared to get out of the house not only up a room really they've been hiding up there for and but he told me said go up there and carry up there until till till till the Spirit comes look at 19 they took him truthfully same day at evening being the first day of the week when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for the fear of the Jews Jesus came and stood in the midst of them now it's this the same day at evening I never saw that same day at evening she went in the morning and he said I've got to send to my father so don't touch me and that afternoon in the evening he goes upstairs walks through the doors tells the disciples I'm here where'd he been all day with the father that's why he said what he tell him tell my father and your father my God and your God he had been with his daddy all day it was over when he placed the blood on the mercy seat it was complete guys it was over and everybody was free and everybody was delivered and everybody was changed Jesus came and he stood in the mist and he said to them now why would he say that peace be with you they were terrified oh let me ask you something guys if next Sunday Sunday morning y'all come in and I come in and I'm staying outside and y'all start playing music and I walk through that door don't open it you go I bet I need

to say peace be with you too because he didn't walk through the door opening he walked through the wall and entered in when the door was shut where the disciples were assembled for the fear of the Jews Jesus came and stood in the midst of him right listen now I want you to understand something listen to me very carefully this is a perfect grace message right you're not gonna preach this message grace right here they were terrified and Jesus still showed up in the middle of their fear you know the church of faith people especially God don't show up now when you got fear around you he showed right up in the middle of their fear and said peace be with you we've missed that peace be with you the translation of that in in the actual Greek says this peace is here your peace is here we didn't get that he was simply telling them you have my peace because now you have me if I happen to resurrected your sins are gone I am your peace so you're trying to get peace on the external he was telling I'm the peace on the internal and when he had said this he showed them his hands and his side then the disciples were glad when they saw Jesus now if you notice something Mary didn't recognize it she thought he was a gardener there's a reason for that because me and you are called the Garden of God now we're his garden so you got to have a gardener for a garden if you notice everything took place in the garden and when he had said this he showed him his hands and his side then the disciples were glad that they saw the Lord when he came the second time back the same day what did he tell him he said to them again peace to you as the father sent me I'm sending you now thank you for joining us today at power in the word all of us here at harvest Fellowship Church want you to know that God is not mad with you but he loves you so very much and he has a plan for your life please feel free to contact us here at harvest Fellowship Church at our website harvest fellowship church net so until next week please remember there's power in the word
