The Mind of a King

What's up, family? Welcome to video number five. This video is the war for the mind is a war for your crown. Again, the war for the mind is a war for your crown. Listen to me, family. A king is not crowned by accident. A king is crowned in his mind before he is crowned in his life. You can be saved, born again, spirit-filled, and still live in spiritual bondage if your mind has not stepped into the identity, the security, and the dominion that Jesus purchased for you. When Jesus made you a king and a priest, he didn't just give you a title. He gave you an inner world to manage. Listen to me. If you do not rule your mind and your heart, you will not rule your life. So the born-again mind, we're entering a new kingdom. When you got born again, you did not receive the order of Melchizedek. You didn't. Jesus alone holds that eternal priestly order. But because you are in him, again, you now receive the benefits of that order. We spoke about this. You receive access to God, covenant authority, communion with the Father, righteousness apart from works, a priestly invitation to draw near, a kingly mandate to walk in dominion.

You are not from the order of Melchizedek, but you are from the kingdom Jesus rules as royalty, which means you operate in the authority flowing from his priesthood, out of his priesthood. You are royal. I want you all to say this out loud. I am royal. I am a king. I am a priest. Just like being born again, you are not born from God's essence in the way Jesus is eternally begotten, but you are born of God through his spirit. In other words, when you're born again, you're not Jesus, but you are born of God through his spirit. So you're like him, you're a disciple, you're a follower of Christ. It's identity by union, not identity by origin. Because he is a king, you are restored to kingship. Because he is a priest, you have restored access as well to priesthood. The veil has been torn. You don't need to sacrifice animals. You don't need to do all these crazy agricultural offerings and all these things and go to Levitical priests. No, you don't need to do that. The veil has been torn. You have access to the Holy of Holies, the presence of God as a priest anywhere you go, and you are a king, which means you have dominion.

That means your mind has to be retrained to think like a son, not a slave. I'm gonna say it again. Your mind needs to be retrained. All the stuff that we learned in the world has to be retrained to think as a son or daughter of God, not a slave. It's like it's royalty. You have to think like royalty, not rejection. You have to think victorious, not victimhood. The mind is the throne room of dominion. Before Jesus ever puts a sword in your hand, he puts truth in your mind. The mind is where temptation begins, condemnation attacks, fear speaks, faith grows, identity forms, revelation lands, authority awakens. Most Christians lose spiritual battles because they fight demons while leaving their thoughts unguarded. Kings don't react. Kings don't panic. Kings don't second guess. Kings decide, discern, and remain steady. Inner dominion means your emotions no longer get the final vote. Your impulses no longer run your life. Your history no longer defines your decisions. Your mind becomes the place where the word of God sits on the throne, hallelujah, come on somebody for the people in the back.

Renewal of the mind. How God rewires a king, Romans 12 too. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, right? So you're transformed first by renewing your mind. The word shapes you by pressure. The spirit shapes you by revelation. Renewing your mind is not positive thinking. Christian clicks, memorizing verses without understanding or trying harder. Renewal is when the spirit of God rewrites the logic of your inner world, your mind and heart so that the way you think naturally agrees with the king you serve. It is freedom at the thought level and the heart level. It is dominion at the decision level. It is identity at the instinct, the inner soul level. Renewal is when your reflexes change. I always teach this, character, nature, maturity. First, it's the renewal of the mind that changes your character because you believe it. But then sometimes you believe in what the word says in your mind, but in your heart, you're having a struggle. Your instincts, your reflexes are having a struggle. And that's when you go through testing, trials, tribulations. That fire is what purifies. as your heart, so then naturally what ends up happening as you continue to decree, declare, stand on the word, stand, even if you fall, you get back up, you continue to stand, stand, stand,

that thing in your mind that you believe, the word of God, now hits your heart. And then now it becomes you. It becomes your reflex. It becomes your instinct. And that's what God wants to do. He wants to change, rewire your mind and your nature, the mind and the heart, hallelujah. There's three marks of a kingly mind. Number one, clarity. Kings don't live confused. They see the assignment, they see the traps, they see the opportunities. Clarity comes from proximity to Jesus. Jesus wants to show you, but you have to stay close as a priest. Again, if you want dominion, authority, you wanna take back territory for God, for the kingdom of God, right? The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, but the violent take it back by force. But you're not staying close to Jesus, what are you doing it for? You're probably doing it for yourself, that's performance. But when you stay close to Jesus and you're a priest first, then a king, God will always give you heavenly intel. That's what word is, communication from heaven. Heavenly intel to apply the word of God, the scriptures to your situation,

to know the rhema, the now word by the spirit for what you need in that assignment. Conviction, kings make decisions based on truth, not pressure. We don't make decisions when pressure comes and we're freaking out. We stop, we pray, we release all that to the Lord, give him our burdens. His yoke is easy, his burden is light. And then our yes becomes set apart, it becomes holy because it's coming from a place of peace. Your no becomes powerful because it's also coming from a place of peace. You're making an unbiased decision because you're going to him and not to your own feelings. Conviction builds consistency. Consistency builds dominion. Calm authority is so important. Kings don't raise their voice to prove their power. Authority is not loud, it's rooted. This is something we're all growing in. There's times where we want to get louder to kind of get our point across, but as a king, we don't need to. It's authority that comes from knowing him. Your peace becomes a weapon. Your stillness becomes discernment. Your patience becomes strategy. When your mind is calm, your authority becomes sharp. Thinking, deciding, and leading from victory.

Family, hear me. A king does not fight for victory. A king fights from victory. I'm gonna say it again for the people in the back. A king does not fight for victory. You're not fighting to be victorious. You already are. You're positionally fighting from a place of already having the full victory because of what Christ did on the cross. Christ and Christ crucified. Your decisions must come from what God said you are already, what Jesus already finished, what the spirit already sealed, what the word already revealed. Victory is not something you chase. It's the ground you stand on. Come on somebody for the people in the back. This means you don't pray to win. You pray from what's already won. You don't pray to win. You already won. That's different. You don't fight to overcome. You fight from the overcomer inside you. That's why the Bible says you're more than a conqueror. Why are you more than a conqueror? Because Jesus already conquered everything. So you're more than a conqueror because you're already walking in a positional place

of conquering because of the cross, more than a conqueror. You don't lead to prove yourself. You don't lead to prove. You don't have to lead to prove who you are. You lead from identity Jesus gave you. When your mind is renewed, you no longer are controlled by fear, shame, insecurity, or comparison. You lead with stability, wisdom, discernment, confidence, humility, patience, and grace. This is the mind of the King. Let's talk about the King within. Inner dominion produces outer order. Woo, come on somebody. Inner dominion produces outer order. Hear this. Whatever you don't conquer inside will eventually clash with the outside. It always comes out. That's why it's so important to let the Holy Spirit in prayer and intimacy and priesthood clean out the heart. Inner dominion produces better decisions, better relationships, better leadership, better stewardship, better spiritual warfare, better emotional balance. You become someone God can trust with territory. You become someone God can feel safe following. You become someone demons respect. Dominion begins where excuses die. Your mind is your first kingdom.

Before God gives you nations, he gives you your mind renewed. Before he gives you territory, he gives you truth to hit your heart. Before he gives you influence, he gives you identity. Your mind is your first kingdom. Come on. Your thoughts are your first subjects. Your decisions are your first laws. Your peace is your first atmosphere. If you rule here from this place, you will rule. anywhere. Family, step into the mind of a king. Not arrogant, but anchored. Not prideful, but positioned. Not insecure, but established. Jesus, the King of Kings, lives in you. Now let His mind live through you by putting on the mind of Christ. See you in the next lesson.
