The key to living with greater confidence and boldness is knowing first and foremost that all your sins are forgiven.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (Ephesians 1:7 KJV)

You do not have to try to get forgiveness. You have the forgiveness of sins, and this forgiveness of sins that you have is not according to what you have done, but according to the riches of God’s grace (His unmerited, unearned, and undeserved favor).

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 KJV)

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22 KJV)

His perfect, sinless blood provided forgiveness for all our sins.

Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. (Romans 4:7-8 KJV)

“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.”

For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. (Hebrews 10:14 AMPC)

What is the value of Jesus?

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”(Colossians 1:13-14 NKJV)

To understand the total forgiveness of sins, we have to understand the value of the person Who sacrificed Himself on the cross for us. There is no assurance that all our sins have been forgiven without the resurrection of Jesus.

“And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:17 NLT)

Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. (Romans 4:25 NKJV)

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. (I Corinthians 15:20-22 NKJV)

Because He is risen, you are no longer in your sins. Jesus’ resurrection is the living proof that all your sins have been completely and totally forgiven.

But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation). And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. (Romans 5:17-18 NKJV)

Greek word for the verb “have” is in the present tense, which indicates durative action meaning we are continually having forgiveness of sins, including every sin we will ever commit.

Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), (Ephesians 2:5 NKJV)

The Word "saved" comes from the Greek Word "sozo." The word is in present tense. It means that the action of the verb occurred in the past and results linger in the present. Paul is saying, that our salvation was accomplished in the past and we now exist as saved in the present.

By grace have you have been saved completely in past time, with the present result that you are in a state of salvation, which persists through the present time. (Ephesians 2:5 Kenneth Weust)

“I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.” (I John 2:12 NKJV)

The Greek perfect tense is used here for “are forgiven” meaning this forgiveness is a definite action completed in the past, with the effect continuing into the present. This means that God’s forgiveness avails for you in your present, and continues into your future.

“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.” (Colossians 2:13-14 NLT)

The Greek word for “all” is pas, meaning “every kind or variety, the totality of the persons or things referred to”.

Furthermore, every [human] priest stands [at his altar of service] ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again, which never are able to strip [from every side of us] the sins [that envelop us] and take them away– Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins [that shall avail] for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, Then to wait until His enemies should be made a stool beneath His feet. For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. (Hebrews 10:11-14 AMPC)

The revelation of forgiveness does not detract from, nor is it at the expense of, right living. Instead, it is the fuel that makes right living happen.

today on power in the world we've got to live that mindset of a heavenly mindset instead of an earthly mindset and as long as we live in earthly mindset we're gonna stay in that mentality we're gonna be condemned we're guilty we're shame we're living in all these things that that's why people can't come to church and enjoy Jesus because they're continuously in a state of shame and condemnation and guilt because I've missed it I missed it I missed it I'm gonna miss God I'm gonna miss God I'm gonna miss God he knew you were gonna miss it he fixed it where you couldn't miss it he did all the work so you couldn't miss it welcome to power in the word one of the most crippling mental aspects for believers and unbelievers alike is guilt shame and condemnation the larger question is what can I do about it so today Dr. Nosh provides the answer by showing us in the Word of God that God's forgiveness is the only answer to the failures in life it's an incredibly encouraging message so you stay with us so today we want to talk about something that I really believe the Holy Spirit's laid on my heart and I want to talk about the greatest blessing in the world how many of you know what the greatest blessing in the world is the greatest blessing in the world today is to know that you're truly forgiven and the church talks about that all the time but they really don't understand it you know the key to living with the greater confidence and boldness is knowing that first and foremost that all your sins are forgiven and we do believe that until we do another one but if we really understood what the Bible said about our sins are forgiven we wouldn't have another one now I want to go to Ephesians chapter 1 verse 7 and I want you to really understand today that all your sins are forgiven look at and we say that we say it all the time all my sins are forgiven but we really don't believe that they really are forgiven when's the last time you confess your sins good when's the last time you repented see we don't understand the difference because we're repenting every day changing the way that we're thinking but we don't confess our sins anymore because we've been forgiven right repentance only means to change the way you're thinking if you don't change the way you're thinking

you're never going to change your life the way that you think the way you're going to behave okay so go to Ephesians chapter 1 verse 7 in whom we have redemption through his blood so what gave you redemption redemption means y'all you've been bought back out of sin Adam lost it Jesus come back and took it back right so you and I've been bought out of redemption we've been paid for a ransom for through what how valuable is that blood if it's very valuable then how valuable is what it delivers you and I are very very valuable but we haven't understood that because the forgiveness of sin so in in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace now how did you get forgiven through the riches of his grace by his blood now think about that just a minute you're forgiven because of his marvelous grace so if you don't understand his grace you're never going to understand how truly you are forgiven and that's why we walk around in condemnation and guilt all the time because we really don't know that we're forgiven see you were forgiven because of the riches of his grace right I heard somebody say something this morning was about quarter to two and here's what he said he said the law represents the world that we live in and the grace represents the world that God wants us to live in and so if you think about that just a moment we gotta ask ourselves do I understand fully grace do I really know that all of my sins have been forgiven by grace or are they doing it because I confess them so think about it a minute are we walking in that level of sins are totally forgiven or do we repent and change and confess our sins over and over and over and over now repent only simply means to change our mind but most people go to confession every day just like the Catholics every day we're confessing what we've done wrong we confess him he's removed all that by his marvelous grace right so his grace has removed all of our sins correct so you don't have them through his blood right so why do we spend time thinking about them why don't we spend time talking about the old person why don't we spend time thinking about what we used to be and talk about what we used to be and don't understand who we are now so your sins are completely and

totally forgiven so you don't have to try to get forgiveness guys you have forgiveness of sins and this forgiveness of sins that you can adapt according to what has been done for you not according to what you do think about it well I got I gotta get I gotta ask God to forgive me no he's already forgiven you so we don't understand grace because we understood grace you would never confess your sins again one time they're over he forgave you of your past your present and the ones you're going to do in the future he's he's forgiven you today for what you're going to do tomorrow that's why his grace is new every day do we really understand grace do we really understand the message that we're really true really forgiven no because we live in a uh... a mindset that we're living in a religious mentality and we're following a religious theology that's going to give us deliverance we can confess and it's over we can confess and it's over and it's a continuous cycle because we don't know that we're completely forgiven do we really know that we're completely forgiven but according to the riches of God's grace unmarried unearned and undeserved favor is the reason I mean you're forgiven so look at somebody and say I'm totally completely forgiven people may not forgive it people may not forgive you but the mindset is Jesus has forgiven us all of it do you believe that though do you believe that when you go off and do something you know you ought not to have done and you go back to that religious mindset and you see yourself in the wrong see we're not in the wrong we're in grace

now that's not a license to go out and do anything you want to do but the reality of what I'm trying to get you to understand is that it's all in the blood and it's through God's marvelous grace so go to Romans chapter 6 verse 23 for the wages of sin is death so we know the result of what happens with sin is going to be death before Adam fell in the garden there was no death when sin came on the earth it brought death so death is a result of what but this word is not a verb it's a noun right so he's talking about what the sin nature that he's removed from me and you so we no longer have a sin nature now the wages of a sin nature is going to be death but the gift of God is eternal life how? through Jesus Christ our Lord so how many of us have eternal life that is not when you die and step over into the other side you're in eternal life right now John 17 3 says the truth is all eternal life is is a relationship and the ability to know God so think about it a minute have I stepped into that eternal life you're in eternal life right now we've got to live that mindset of a heavenly mindset instead of an earthly mindset and as long as we live in an earthly mindset we're going to stay in that mentality we're going to be condemned we're guilty we're shamed we're living in all these things that that's why people can't come to church and enjoy Jesus because they're continuously in a state of shame

and condemnation and guilt because I've missed it I've missed it I've missed it I'm going to miss God I'm going to miss God I'm going to miss God he knew you were going to miss it he fixed it where you couldn't miss it he did all the work so you couldn't miss it so what are you worried about missing there's people in the church all over America today and all over the world that are worried about going to hell because they don't understand that they're truly and completely and totally forgiven think about it a minute we're so accountable to wrong that we can't enjoy what Jesus did right go me to Hebrews 9 and 22 and almost all things are by the law purged with blood and without the shedding of blood there is no remission so he's telling us in Hebrews that without the blood there's no remission so that's how listen you and I are forgiven because of the blood the blood removed our sin not my confession didn't remove my sin the blood removed my sin and I've accepted his grace because of his blood his blood has made me an undeserved unfavored all the unmerited everything his grace is available because of my acceptance by faith by grace you've been saved through faith not of yourself it's the gift of God think about it it's a gift it's a gift it's a gift you can't work it out you can't the bible says work out your own salvation and everybody uses that word we're doing the right thing that's not what he's talking about

what he's talking about is the more knowledge of him you get the more you understand who you are and what is the finished work you ought to be sitting in the absolute place of rest seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus knowing exactly who you are not worried about what's going on around you wrong and resting in what he's done for you because you are his purpose for existence guys come on we gotta get away from the mentality listen the world wants to drag you in to the mindset of thinking like the culture of the world look around we're so into politics republican democrat come on we need a revelation of Jesus one person's not gonna fix this country guys only this word's gonna fix this country everybody's got a little bit of truth but the word's got a full truth see I heard a preacher say something the other day and it really spoke to me he said it's not about a democrat or republican it's about understanding that we as americans and the world don't want to accept truth because truth of this one and truth of this one is two different truths think about it we're upset with people because they don't believe like us but they believe what they believe because they think it's truth so our level of truth is going to determine our level of elevation in life you're never going to rise above what you think and if you don't think truth then you're never going to have truth The Bible said in John 17, 17 that the Word of God is truth. for all of our sins. Think about that a minute. All of our sins are forgiven, even before you ever did them. Go meet Romans 4 and 7, saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Verse 8, Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Everybody was sinning from the beginning of Adam. The fall of Adam made everybody sinners. But I want you to understand a little bit about Adam. Adam went and hid himself, because he thought he'd missed God. And God looked at him and spoke and said, Where you at? He wasn't asking him, Where's your location? He was saying, Where you at with me? I don't see any difference. But because of the fall of Adam, everybody was made sinners. Correct? And everybody's been hiding ever since, since they missed it. Even after we get born again, we still go back to that hiding mentality. Well, I'm ashamed. I'm guilty. People are walking around with shame and guilt all over. Why do you think these guys are in jail? Guilt, condemnation. The way they grew up, the way they lived their life. I'm not saying they're not accountable for what they did wrong. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, most people's thinking is the reason they're in captivity.

The church is in prison too and ain't even in jail locked up. Because we have a mentality that Jesus is mad at us. He's angry with us. He's uptight with us. He's tore up with us. We're going to have a rapture and you're all going to be burnt up. And fire's going to come. You're going to be without food for three or five days. You better pack it up. And you better get ready because there's coming a drought. And we've been preaching that stuff for a hundred years and nobody's believed it yet. I'm not trying to be gloomy and to tear up your religion. I'm trying to destroy it. Because everybody's getting up preaching. Well, you know, times are coming, man. There's going to be war over there. And the Antichrist is popping up. He's popping up. Antichrist has been popping up. Come on. Read the book. In 88, because Israel become a nation in 1948. In 88, what's going to happen? The world's going to end. We're still here. A guy wrote a book, 88 reasons he's got to come in 88. He didn't come. Why would you listen to anything else that guy said after that? And then they said they missed him by a year and he's going to come in 91. And he's going to come in 2004. And he's going to come in 2011.

They're fixing to find some way he should come again. Israel became a nation in May, what, 16th or 14th of 1948? And so because of that, they added 40 years, which is a generation, so he's got to come in 88. Think about it a minute. Think about how far we've gotten away from the truth. Think about how deep religion has kept the church in bondage. And they can't even enjoy life because they're continuously trying to figure out a new method and a new theology every year. I just think we're more blessed than we realize. And I think we have favor and Jesus ain't up there mad and angry and tore up with us and going to strike us down with all kinds of sickness and going to strike us down with poverty and going to strike us down with take all the food away and we ain't going to have any food. The Bible said you won't find my seed begging bread. See, I think we've missed the whole concept of grace. And we mix law in there and then we try to preach a little bit of grace to get you saved and then we're going to keep you saved by intimidating you and telling you if you don't act right, you're going to hell still. Think about it. How many people live that way every day of their life? Go to Romans chapter 4 verse 7 and 8 in NLT. I want you to see this. Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Verse 8. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin. Guys, think about it a minute. Has he cleared your record? I want you to stand and realize today, not stand really, literally, but I want you to realize today that your slate's clean. He don't have anything against you. Now, I want you to think about it a minute. If you'll notice, sin had been going on all the time. Jesus covered sin with Adam.

He made a sacrifice and he covered that Adam with skin. You know the story, right? And that was going to tarry until Jesus came and redeemed all mankind and Adam. Because all he had to do was redeem Adam and everybody was in there. But I want you to think about it a minute. It was not held accountable until the law came. And once the law came, then you're accountable. Now the law there is no transgression. Now think about it just a minute. Are we walking in that greatest blessing of knowing that I'm truly forgiven? See there's people in this room today, you need to forgive people. They hurt you, they disappointed you, they couldn't help it. They only made decisions based on the experiences they had to make that decision. How many of you ever made a bad decision? Think about it. Why did you make that bad decision? At the time you thought it was the right decision. And you made that decision based on the experience you had to make it. If you don't have any knowledge you can't make right decisions in the world. That's why some people marry people and they're supposed to just learn something from them instead of live with them the rest of their life. So you've got to understand why people come in your life. People come in your life for a season and then they come in your life for a reason and then they come in your life for a lifetime. You've got to be able to discern the difference. But here's something I heard several months ago and it really spoke to me. There's this man and he passed away and got to the gate, as everybody knows we've always heard that story. And he gets to the gate and the guy at the gate said, look man have you ever paid any tithes? He said, no sir. He said, you read your Bible? He said, no sir. He said, you a member of the church? He said, no sir. He said, how do you think you're going to get in? He said, that man on the middle cross told me I could. I want you to ask yourself a question. What's the value of Jesus to you? Go to Hebrews 10 and 14 in the Amplified Classic.

For by a single offering he has forever, how long is forever? Completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. Now I want you to listen to this again. With one single offering his blood has completely forever cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. See I don't think it's about going to heaven guys. I don't think it's about going to hell. I think it's about understanding that you're increasing in life. Because life and death are in the power of your tongue and your lips receive the fruit thereof. Deuteronomy 20, 19 says choose blessings, choose cursing, choose death, choose life. You choose. Now Jesus coming, he said that come that you might have life and have it more abundantly, John 10, 10. I'm the way, the truth, and the life. There's no way to the Father except through me. But I want you to ask you something. Have you chose life? Or have you chose death? Because the wages of sin is death, right? See I think we think we're going to get to heaven. There's going to be somebody standing at the gate. And they're going to say, come on in, I've checked the book, you're in here. I really think people would really believe that. And they're going to a place and the streets are going to be lined with gold. Pretty good way it hangs up there, right? See it's all spiritual, guys. It's not a physical manifestation that you're going to a city. I mean you're the city that John saw coming down in the book of Revelation. We're the light of the world now that shines. Others may see the good works and glorify the Father, which is heaven. There's not a place you're going to go to, there's a place coming to you. In other words, you're not going to your people, God's going to bring your people to you.

See when we understand the blessings in the favor of God, we understand His message of grace. See, listen to me, until you understand grace, you're going to believe the church stuff. Because as long as you got that law thing that I got to do this and I got to do this, Jesus said, I will write it in your heart. I will make you holy. I will make you blameless. I will make you righteous. I will make you up. But He didn't say you had to do anything. Go to Colossians chapter 1 verse 13 and 14. He has delivered us from the powers of darkness. How many of you there's a darkness, kingdom of darkness? And then there's a kingdom of light. See, here's the thing that concerns me. I believe people are born again and don't know it. I believe if they understood what Jesus had really done for them, that is the kicker that changes everything. Acknowledging and having knowledge of who you are. When you can discover who you are, you'll discover Him in you. And you say, what do you mean by that? I believe that when Jesus died, He redeemed everybody. If everybody was lost in Adam, then everybody's made alive in Christ. Because that later gift's greater than the first gift. So if the promises of the second is greater than the first, if the first was good, it wouldn't have to be obsolete. So you say, what are you saying? I'm saying this. I believe that we're all born again in the mind of God. When we recognize and acknowledge that, who we are.

It ain't about coming and holding up a sign saying, turn or burn. Turn or burn, brother. God's mad, turn or burn. You're gonna burn in hell. Now think about it a minute. I'm not knocking any of that. I just can't find that's the way Jesus did it. He said, I come that you might have life and have life more abundant. He said, I didn't come to destroy men. I come to give men life. Think about it a minute. I come to give them life. Guys, do you think the church has really got life? They're in bondage. They're trying to work to make God happy. You ain't got to work to make God happy. He's happy because of His Son Jesus. That's the ultimate sacrifice. He looks down and sees Jesus all the time. He ain't even looking at you. He sees you in Christ. And I think the more knowledge we get of what He's done for us, the more we find out who we are. I think that's the answer that everybody's looking for. Let's go to verse 14. In whom we have redemption through His blood, what do we have? The forgiveness of sins. Remember in Acts 13, 38, and Paul said this. When this man, big M, is preached, it's the forgiveness of sins. How many of you know that the moment before you even accepted it, your sins were already forgiven? That's why it doesn't have a time limit on it. That's why there's no time in God. Because what you think was in the past is really in the future. And there's no distance because something eternal doesn't have a beginning or an end.

That's why He says everything that you see is temporal and subject to change, but what you can't see is eternal. See, you can't understand heaven, man. You can't understand walking by faith in every area of your life because we're so conscious and so mindset with the senses that we can't understand the spiritual things. If I can't touch it and feel it, I don't know it's real. There's a whole lot of things you ain't seen that's real. Whether you've seen them or not, they're still real. It's like a man told me one time, he said, I tried to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues, and I didn't receive it, so it ain't real. So I asked him, I said, well, then have you ever had a million dollars? He said, no. I said, is it real? He said, oh, yeah. I said, well, you ain't got it. What's the difference? See, I believe that we have knowledge, and we can have everything that God wants us to have, and the more knowledge you have of something is the level you're going to walk in it with. But I think so many people are just happy with slipping into heaven and knowing that my soul is okay, but they're miserable every day of their life. I've been there. That's not God's plan. God's plan for us to have freedom, know that we're totally forgiven, to understand the total forgiveness of sins, we have to understand the value of the person who sacrificed himself on the cross for us. How valuable is he to you? Really, how valuable is he to you? There is no assurance that all our sins have been forgiven without the resurrection of Jesus. Now, here's the kicker. This is how you know you're forgiven. You ready? You got to accept it by faith, but here's how you know you're forgiven. Go to 1 Corinthians 15, 17 in NLT. And if Christ has not risen, then your faith is useless and you're still guilty of your sins.

So how many of you believe he's resurrected? Because if you don't believe he's resurrected, then your faith is useless and you're still guilty of your sins. So it's all a work of grace, guys. It's all a finished work that Jesus has done everything. Listen, it doesn't say in there, if you'll confess them, they'll be gone. If you could confess them and they'd be gone, you wouldn't have needed a savior to die and resurrect. Think about it a minute. That's the personal relationship he wants us to have with him. That is so real to us that we get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, he's on our minds. That we know that we're truly forgiven. It's a wonderful thing. I'm telling you. I'm going to tell you as a preacher. It's a wonderful thing to lay down at night and know that you're truly forgiven. I've laid down at night as a preacher and didn't know I was truly forgiven. I would lay in bed and say, Lord, if I've done anything that's disappointed you, please forgive me today. I lay down at night now. I don't say that because I believe what he's resurrected. And if he's resurrected in my faith is good. He's what made my faith good. Because he's given me his faith. Right. God kind of faith. Mark 11, 22. Faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith. Faith is something things hope for the evidence of things not seen. Faith comes by hearing. Hearing comes by the word of Christos, which is Christ. So when you hear Christ, you're hearing faith. But go to Romans 4 and 25.

Who has delivered up? Who was delivered up? Now, because in the actual translation says on the count of our offenses. So this guy was delivered up. Who's this guy? Jesus, right? He was delivered up on the count of our offenses. And he was raised on the count of our justification. Now, think about this just a minute. And I want you to see this. Because you've got to get this. You've got to understand this. When Jesus died and was resurrected. When Jesus died and was in the grave. He could not come out of the grave until every sin in the world was removed. And everybody in the entire world was justified. Not just the ones that received it. He made you justified. And declared you righteous. Because if he had one sin. I got up. Remember what John said? Behold the Lamb of God that's going to take away the sin of the world. This guy's going to take away the sin. If he took it, then you can't have it. Because we don't understand it. And for years I asked the Lord, I said, Lord I don't understand, is your sin and my sin the same sin? But think about it. I guarantee you Sunday morning if you came in here and I started throwing some chairs around, you'd say the pastor's in the flesh. Jesus turned the tables upside down. He went into a deacon's meeting and said one of y'all's a viper.

Sounds like he's talking bad to me. But the Bible said he never sinned. He was without sin. Was he without sin because of the way he was born or was he without sin because of who he was? See now you're without sin because of the way you're born. Because his faith and his grace has delivered you from your sin. You don't have a sin conscious anymore. You're God conscious. See if you could learn to trust that, you could learn to walk in a different level of peace in your life. Because peace don't come just because you're good. He said I'll give you my peace, not the peace of the world, but the peace that I have. How do you get that? You get that by understanding who you are. So he declared everybody righteous and then he could get up out of the tomb. So everybody on the entire planet was holy and upright in his eyes. The church is staying in bondage because we're living in condemnation. Romans 8 and 1 says there's therefore now no condemnation of those in Christ Jesus. Some of you are condemned even right now. You're walking around with guilt in your life, regrets, shame, and all these kind of things in your life because you missed it somewhere along the way. Maybe you had a bad marriage or maybe you had a bad situation or maybe you went through some kind of situation, you got angry with somebody, and said some things you shouldn't have said. It's alright. He took it. Here's what I want you to understand. Before you did it, it was already forgiven. See, the church is not there as a whole. We believe if I'll get it right. Because from the time I get it right, from the time I did it to the time I get it right, I'm lost in that

in-between place. I can't be in the in-between place. Because I'm in a state of salvation. It's not based on what Pete does. It's based on what Jesus did. So it's not based on whether I get it right or whether I perform right or whether I get it right or whether I do right. It's based on what he said about me. And if he declared me righteous, who can... I cannot even declare myself unrighteous. I do some righteous acts but that didn't make me righteous. But once I got become righteous and declared righteous by Jesus, I've probably done some unrighteous acts but that don't make me unrighteous. Because he made me righteous. Him who knew no sin, 2 Corinthians 5 21, Him who knew no sin became sin that I might become the righteousness of God. Think about it a minute. I'm absolutely righteous. You're absolutely righteous.
