The Blessing Isn't Coming Until You Step Into the Fight | Special Guest Pastor Zee
In this message, Special Guest Pastor Zee challenges the idea that God's blessings arrive through passivity or waiting alone. The heart of the message is that many of the promises God has spoken require us to engage — to step forward in faith and contend for what He's placed before us. He calls believers out of a spectator posture and into the battle, reminding them that breakthrough often lies on the other side of the very confrontation they've been avoiding. Rather than shrinking back from opposition, believers are invited to see the fight itself as the pathway to the promise. The message stirs listeners to stop waiting on the sidelines and to courageously take hold of what God has already prepared for those willing to press in.

Just wanted to show you guys that anytime the enemy starts lying to you and attacking you and accusing you, you worship God. And you tell the devil how good he is
and how faithful he is. Hallelujah, man. Y'all want to get the devil mad tonight? I want to testify. I want to testify of the goodness of God throughout this entire weekend. At the Remnant Revival Hour Center, we've had such a powerful weekend. On Friday, we went to downtown to evangelize right in the middle of the darkness of downtown Orlando. And we were down there, and it was heavy, but we broke the atmosphere with praise and worship. We released a word of encouragement onto the saints. We sent them out in tools, and they came back with testimony. And four people gave their life to Christ, and four people got baptized. Imagine going into the darkness of downtown Orlando where everybody's drinking and smoking and drugging and pulling somebody out that darkness and dunking them in the water. That's what we did last night. That's what we did on Friday night. And I think he's here. There's a man of God that got baptized here. Where's he at? Raise your hand. There he is right there. He got baptized right there. He's right there. Living testimony. He got baptized in the middle of downtown Orlando in darkness. So we can piss the devil, so we can get him angry. Right now on Saturday, that was yesterday, we had our back to school drive. And we gave back to the community. We should have some pictures. They might put some pictures up there. Oh, there you go. Look at that. We had our back to school drive where we gave back to the community. People received prayer. Man, we worshiped. We did face painting, haircuts. And man, what moved me the most was to see how the members at the Rockman, they were just carrying the burdens of the community. How every person that walked up to receive some supplies and a backpack for their children. Not only, they didn't just walk away with supplies, they walked away with prayer, encouragement, edification. Man, that's the part that really touched me. And then yesterday as we were doing the back to school drive, a man came up and, you know, he said he wanted prayer. And he got baptized last night. He's standing right over there. Raise your hand. He got baptized last night. Man, just so we can, just to make the devil angry, God is still moving today. God is faithful. He's always has, always will be. In the name of Jesus, man. So for this giving message, man, I was so encouraged just to encourage you guys to show y'all fruit. In 2 Corinthians chapter 8, we have Paul the apostle. He's encouraging the Corinth church and he's giving them testimony. He's saying, man, look at the church of Macedonia. Look at them and their afflictions. In the midst of their trial, they still continue to give. And then he pivots in verse 10 and he says this. Watch, I want to read this to you guys.
Verse 10 says, and in this I give advice. It is to your advantage, not to only to be doing what you've begun and were desiring to do a year ago, but now you must complete the doing of it. So you see, Paul was encouraging the Corinthian church to continue to give because they hadn't made a commitment to give early on in that year, but they began to waver in their commitment. And he says, you know what? This is how I'm going to encourage you. I'm going to show you testimony. I'm going to tell you about the Macedonian church and how even in their afflictions, even in their trial, even in the midst of them not being in the greatest situation, they continue to be, to give and they're bearing fruit. And I says, and he pivoted towards them and he says, and it would be in your greatest interest. It would be into your advantage for you to continue to give onto what God is doing. Isn't that beautiful? So that's why I come to you guys, the assembly of God. And I say, guys, look what God is doing. And then encourage you guys to continue to give onto what God is doing. I want everybody to stand up and we're going to bless tonight's offering. We're going to bless the house of God and where he's moving. And we're going to just continue to be faithful in God's faithfulness. Hallelujah. So let's bow our heads. Let's pray father right now in the name of Jesus. Lord, we just thank you for your faithfulness. Lord, the first and foremost, you are faithful and in your faithfulness, Lord, we must be found faithful. And I thank you that your faithfulness encourages us to be faithful. Cause who can, who cannot be faithful to such a faithful God. Father, I thank you for the souls that were baptized on Friday. I thank you for the soul that was baptized yesterday and the seeds that were scattered. I thank you for the families that were encountered by your love and were given supplies in times of need. Lord, I thank you for this. Assembly right now that I get to testify of your goodness to my brothers and sisters father and father in this father We are gonna be found faithful So we give tonight Lord with revelation knowing that it is in our best interest Lord to give unto your movement father So we bless tonight's offering. I bless everyone under the sound of my voice and even those online Lord And we bless you in Jesus mighty name when the church says together Amen, amen. Amen These are the ways that you could give right there and then we got people coming around with baskets and let's continue to stay standing As we worship You say you say me I will never leave your love
I will never leave your love You say you say me I would never leave your love Father you say You say you say I Will never Father you said me you say I will never be I will never I can Do it before I met you Before I met you I I Cannot remember You I See you But they you saved me Your never leave your alone. I will never leave your alone. Father you saved me!are you saying you saved me!are you saying you saved me! I will never leave your alone. I will never leave your alone. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Come on let's give Jesus praise one more time. One more time for his goodness. Thank you King Jesus. Thank you Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. In Jesus name. You guys may be seated in the presence of the Lord. Welcome to the rock where Jesus is the rock and we are standing on that firm foundation. Thank you Jesus. Hey my name is Pastor Carlos. I'm a pastor here at the church and welcome to our gathering. We're going to go through some quick announcements before we go ahead and get into this word. Let's go ahead and get through this. We have seen a bunch of fruit, a bunch of students that come from all around the world to encounter Jesus. They don't even know they're gonna encounter Jesus, but they meet the young remnant, evangelizing, and they give them the gospel, and it's powerful. We've seen so much fruit, and that's led by Pastor Benji. These are our revival tour dates for 2026. September 12th, it's actually coming up really soon. He's gonna be giving a powerful word. We honor mighty man of God. Always blesses the house. Thank you, Pastor. Thank you, man. Now, can somebody give Jesus a hand tonight? That was good, but you could do better because he's been better. I said, you could do better because he's been better. If God has been good to you, if God has been faithful to you, why don't you just give him a shout of praise that makes the devil nervous?
That makes the devil nervous. That makes the devil nervous. Why don't you give God your best praise? You've been giving everything else your best throughout the week, but tonight at Rock Church, Orlando, Florida, why don't you give God your best tonight? Who else is worthy of all of the glory, all of the honor and the praise? We owe it all to you, King Jesus. You better just stir it up until something shifts right now in Jesus' name. I wish somebody knew they didn't have to wait till altar call to get their breakthrough. I said, I wish you knew you didn't have to wait till altar call to get your breakthrough. Jesus is moving up and down these aisles and he can give you breakthrough right now, right here. Holy Spirit, have your way in every person's life. Lord Jesus. God, you know, you know, you know, Lord Jesus, who came for a word, Lord God. You know who came for a word, Lord God. And just a word from me is not sufficient, Lord Jesus. But you, when you show up, Lord God, everything changes. When you walk into the room, everything changes, Lord Jesus. So we welcome you into our life, Lord God. Have your way, have your way. In Jesus' mighty name. Rock Church family says, Amen. You guys got me fired up. Praise God. You may be seated, you may stand the whole time if you'd like, but we're gonna have a Holy Ghost party tonight. Cuz ain't no party like a Holy Ghost party. Son of the King, baby. I've been redeemed, baby. He paid the cost, died for the team, rose up in. You don't need, you don't need weed, baby. Don't even tread. He got the key. He set you free, baby. Favor on favor, I'm running
my race. Still throwing punches with blood on my face. Fell down seven, I'm covered by grace. Fam on my back, so I carry my weight. I was in the dirt till he buried my shame. Now I'm in the Word, trying to carry my flame. You can keep the brand gone, bury my name. But don't you forget who buried my chains. Someone needs to call out to your generation and tell your generation, forget about my name, forget about my fame. There is one name you're gonna want to remember. That name is Jesus. I feel like preaching tonight. The name of Jesus. There is freedom in the name of Jesus. There is healing in the name of Jesus. There is breakthrough in the name of Jesus. And at that name, every knee will bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Hallelujah. I feel like rapping every time I come out here. They told me, reload the Fofo and let's go. I'll preach the gospel in some brand new retros. Young Z, I've been at the devil's neck from the get-go. He want my fam and my ministry, but heck no. I can do what they do. Wrist cold, neck froze, more green than pesto. They telling girls to get low. But mama raised a soldier with composure and respect, though. So every time I hear that talk, I gotta check, bro. Big steppin' on the beat, been reppin' for the king, been Reggie from the three, what? Stay carryin' my team, stay married to my queen, never buryin' the dream, huh? Really in the spirit, walkin' down the opp, might just change a life while I'm walkin' down your block. Preach the gospel where it's hot, and they choppin' down a rock. Told a demon, why wait? Let's get it poppin' on the spot. Boy, it gets gritty. Victory in Christ, it ain't on me, it's in me. Keep the Grammys, keep the Oscars, keep the Emmys. My assignment a little different, bring revival to my city. Bible like a semi-what? Heavy like a semi-truck? I don't keep a blicky tuck. Death is just a pick-me-up. Okay, okay, I gotta preach, I gotta preach. Here we go. Yeah, he said, you preaching. That's right. Praise the Lord. How many are thankful for the gifts that God has given us, the tools against the enemy? Amen. Praise God. I'm excited to be back with you. I want to give honor to your pastors, Pastor Rich, Sister Carleen. Thank you so much for all of your labor, all of your sacrifice. We love you very, very much, and I'm blessed to be a part of
this family. I want to honor my wife who is at home watching right now, my beautiful, my rib. I call her my baby back rib. Come on, somebody. God bless me with a baby back rib. Come on, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Cuban. Hello. Blessed. And my four children with my fifth on the way. Come on now. Amen. So, I love you so much. Winter, summer, Zion, spring, and autumn coming soon. Let's dive into this word together. I have this word that I want to preach to you called blessings on the battlefield. I can't preach this everywhere, but when I'm in a room full of people that I know are on the battlefield or are ready to step on the battlefield, that is the time to release this word. Amen? I'm going to preach to you three scriptures, three different times in David's life where he experienced blessings on the battlefield. Because there are some blessings you can only find by saying yes to Jesus, stepping into his calling on your life and doing what God's called you to do. First Samuel 22 verse one. If you have your Bible, open it up and shout hallelujah. When you get there, you're there already. First Samuel 22 verse one and the word of the Lord reads. So David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. Soon his brothers and all his other relatives joined him there. Then others begin coming, men who were in trouble or in debt or who were just discontented. How many of you were in trouble before Jesus? How many of you were in debt before Jesus? I mean, I'm still in debt right now. Come on, Lord's bringing you out. But this word right here strikes me discontented before they found David in this cave and before David became their captain and before David raised them up to be mighty warriors, mighty men of valor. This word discontented, it means to be dissatisfied with one's circumstance.
Now what happened to these men? How do we go on to read that these same men became mighty warriors? Here it is. These men found their purpose on the battlefield with David. These men found their identity in the army of the Lord. These men found a destiny. One of my favorite quotes is from George S. Patton, a general. He says, a man must know his destiny. If he does not recognize it, then he is lost. Am I looking at any men of God today that know you have a purpose, that God has a destiny for you to reach? You've got somewhere to be. You don't just wake up to an alarm clock, but you wake up to a calling now that you're walking with Jesus. Come on, somebody. You're not here for nothing. God's given you a purpose. I remember when I came to God, I was discontented, dissatisfied with my circumstances. No amount of alcohol could give me true purpose. No amount of weed, drugs, lust could fill my heart and life with purpose. I remember I was lost, lost. How many of y'all was lost, lost? I remember I got off of school one day, and I followed some friends, and they rolled up a fat one. You know, they rolled up a fatty. I was there, and I smoked with them, and then I tried walking home. I didn't have a car. I was in high school. There I was trying to walk home, downtown San Jose, California, and I got lost because I was so high, and I couldn't find what street I lived on.
Hello. I had two revelations. One was I'm lost physically, and because also I grew up in the church with a praying mama. Any praying mamas in here tonight? Let me just talk to you, prodigal sons and daughters. Good luck trying to run from God when your mama's praying heaven down on you. Because for the devil to have his way in your life, he's going to have to climb over every single one of your mama's prayers. If the devil wants to have his way in my children's life, he's going to have to climb over every single one of my prayers that I've prayed over my children. You can try to run, but it wasn't working, because I had one revelation. I was physically lost, and then it hit me. I said, I'm also spiritually lost, double lost, and I knew I needed to find my way back to God, and I could look at my life now. You're not looking at a man who is lost any longer. You're not looking at a man who doesn't know his purpose and destiny, but today, my friend, I stand before you as a man who knows his identity in Christ. I stand before you a man with purpose. I stand before you a man with a future and a hope. This is one of the greatest miracles God can do in your life. It's filled you with purpose when before you didn't have no purpose. Jeremiah 29, 11 says, For I know the plan Plans that I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope. Somebody praise God for purpose. I feel like testifying. My wife, I didn't even, I wasn't gonna share this,
but my wife got filled with purpose. If you would've met my wife 15 years ago, you would've met a broken young girl from New York. But today, my wife, come on somebody, I got a note. I wasn't gonna show this. She sent me with a note. She prays for her man as a man comes and takes the world for Jesus. And today, when you see my wife, you see a woman set on fire for the glory of God. We're talking about a woman who knows her purpose, who pours into my children, pleads the blood of Jesus upon our family. I got good news for you. God's got purpose for you greater than you even see for yourself. It reminds me of Peter when he's out fishing in Matthew chapter four, and Jesus shows up on that shoreline. And what was supposed to be an ordinary day for Peter, all of a sudden, the day turns into the greatest day of his life when the Son of God stepped on the shoreline and said, Peter, come and follow me, and I will make you a different kind of fisherman. And he says, Peter, you won't bring in fish anymore, but you'll bring people into my kingdom. And little did Peter know, somebody better get excited about this. Little did Peter know that he would go on. He didn't know that he was gonna follow the Son of God
and be in revival. He didn't know that one day he was gonna preach and 3,000 people were gonna come into the kingdom. He didn't know that he would walk on water one day. But when God's got a purpose for your life, the Bible says, many are the plans in a man's heart, but the Lord's purpose will prevail. Somebody say, Lord. Lord. Give me my purpose. Give me my purpose. They say two greatest days in a person's life is the day a person was born, and the second greatest day is when they find out why. The day they find out why. You watch Pastor Rich, man, my brother goes out there into the streets, and what does he ask? One of my favorite questions. What is the purpose of life? And people start fumbling over their words. But if they only knew there is one true purpose in this life, and that's to give God glory. Give Jesus praise. Hallelujah. I've heard it said God's greatest gift to you is your life. Your greatest gift to him is what you do with it. I'm talking about purpose. I'm talking about identity. I wanna share with you a story.
I heard Pastor Tim Delano of Times Square Church share last week, and I wanna share with you how powerful it is when God shows you you have a purpose. A pastor at a church named Almighty God Tappernackle was working late on a Saturday night. Before leaving, he tried to call his wife, but she didn't answer. He was calling from the church phone. Thinking he had dialed incorrectly, he tried again a little later, and he reached her, and she told him, my phone never rung. The following Monday, the pastor received a call from a man asking why he had called him on Saturday night. God will get purpose to you. The pastor realized he had accidentally dialed the wrong number, and he apologized to the man, saying he was trying to get ahold of his wife, but he dialed the wrong number. The man replied, you don't need to apologize. Let me tell you my story. That night, I was planning to commit suicide. Talking about God getting purpose to you. That night, I was planning to commit suicide. Before I did, I prayed, God, if you're real, and you don't want me to do this, give me a sign. Just then, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID, and it said Almighty God, because the name of the church couldn't fit on the cup.
When God's got a purpose for your life, I don't know who I'm talking to, that you feel worthless, and things have been spoken over you, but when God's got a purpose for your life, he will get that purpose to you. He'll make a call. There is destiny over you. And if anybody's been struggling today with feeling like you have purpose, if anybody's been struggling with suicide, I just come against every demonic spirit. Come on somebody. I need some blood bought I Need come on you better go to war for just a moment Because the devil is trying to steal kill and destroy But Jesus says I have come that you may have life and life more abundantly. Come on somebody Somebody say I got purpose It's beating right here in your chest if you're still breathing God stills got a plan. Hello The second thing you find on the battlefield like those men found their purpose and became mighty men and Mighty warriors is you find your people on the battlefield. I Said you find your people on the battlefield There's nothing that'll show you who your people are Like a battle I Got your back, bro Don't even trip if it goes down, I'm right there with you and Then a battle comes and they're nowhere to be found David experienced this in first Chronicles 11 10 and and it starts talking about David's mighty men These are the leaders of David's mighty warriors together with all Israel. They decided to make David their king And it talks about one of them who used a spear to kill 300 enemy warriors in a single battle next in rank Here's here's what I want to preach to you Eliezer. Everybody say Eliezer
he was with David when the Philistines gathered for battle and Attacked the Israelites in a field full of barley. Everybody say barley Barley was a vital food source for them in that time. So defending the field was defending livelihood Defending the field was defending the harvest that God had blessed them with somebody say defend your field and It says when they were supposed to be defending their field. It says the Israelite army fled Those that were supposed to back up David in the battle ran and fled they gave up their field They gave up their harvest They gave up their children's food hello I don't know about you, but I'm standing in front of my promises and I'm saying ain't no devil gonna steal the harvest that God has come in my way and They ran but Eliezer. I love when it when a story just changes it says but Eliezer and David held their ground in the middle of the field and beat back the Philistines Why? Why can two men go against however many Philistines a whole lot of them it doesn't say because they understand God math They understand God math God math is a little bit different Math to us is 3,000 Philistines two of us we're done God math is if one can put a thousand to flight Two can put ten thousand to flight I Wish you knew what you could do when you lock arms with a brother and sister in Christ That says I'm standing in front of the field the harvest that God has given me I'm a math guy, so I kind of like Though dug into that scripture, and I'm like if to put then 10,000 to flight How much of a difference can we make with three three if you continue that pattern it goes to a hundred thousand to flight and If you get four and I see a lot more than four in this place If you get four blood pot come on water walking
tongue talking Bible thumping Holy Spirit believers if you get four of them together then four could put a million to flight What is the point? The point of what I'm trying to say to you is that when believers come together I don't think we're aware of the power when believers come together in a room like this It is more than just a cute little service, but we are literally shifting the region I Said we're putting every demonic spirit on notice in this whole entire Region when we lock arms and back each other up in the spirit. Hello You find your people you find your people now if you Look at the spiritual principle of that story It's this if I don't give up on you and you don't give up on me and we don't give up on God we win that is the spiritual principle God's trying to get us to see that when David locked arms with Eliezer and they stood their crowns and they both didn't give up on each other and didn't give up on God they got the victory if you don't give up on me I don't give up on you we don't give up on God we win the Bible says in Proverbs 17 17 a friend is always loyal and a brother is born for a time of adversity come on somebody a brother is born for a time of adversity I remember I was getting ready to go evangelize at a smoke shop I'm kind of like Pastor Rich I'm like my brother Pastor Rich we go we go to the we go to the crazy places right and my brother-in-law actually he owned a smoke shop in the city that I was in living in and he wasn't serving the Lord lost my wife would cry tears for his salvation and he's running this smoke shop and it's becoming the most successful smoke shop and they they decide they're gonna throw a worldly concert in their smoke shop bring all these rappers in worldly rappers and do this big party and I seen them post it
on social media and I don't know what happened but I felt the Holy Spirit I called my brother Sammy and I said brother you're throwing this party at your smoke shop let me go and rap at your smoke shop he said you do Christian rap I said I know that he said are you sure you want to come to my smoke shop to do Christian rap I said I want to get to your smoke shop to do Christian rap matter of fact you guys need it the most amen he thinks I'm crazy but he gives me the stage he says show up at this time and do what you want to do I call I'm talking to you about the power of a brother or the power of a sister the of unity I called the biggest Samoan brother that I got in the church I said we are on a special ops mission from the Lord and I'm about to take you to a smoke shop and we are gonna go win some souls in a dark place he's not afraid he doesn't tell me no he says if you're going I'm going where you come on anybody remember what Ruth said where you go I come on somebody where you go I go where you stay I'll stay Ruth said your people will be my people your God my God where you die I will die and there I will be buried may the Lord deal with me be it ever so severely if even death separates you and me and that launched her into marrying Boaz hello and they had a son named Obed and Obed had a son named Jesse and Jesse had a son named David sometimes loyalty will launch you into royalty I said sometimes loyalty will launch you into royalty you've been praying for a blessing and breakthrough and sometimes it's found in you just staying the course my brother said if you're going I'm going so we went to this smoke shop pulled up I couldn't find the smoke shop because the smoke shop was so filled with smoke I couldn't and then my brother Josh he's like hey I think it's that one with like a lot of smoke and I'm like Lord did I hear you right was this assignment from you we walk in smoke hits us but the devil didn't want no smoke with us hey I said smoke hit me but the devil didn't want no smoke with me hello some of y'all worried about the smoke in the fire the devil don't want no smoke with you so we walk in I'm trying to like hold my breath you know to me and so we go to the back room and I see my brother-in-law who's lost who at one time knew the Lord and my heart breaks
and I start talking to him say thank you for letting me come get me on that stage as quick as possible please about to get high in this place five more minutes I would have been in there you know what I mean like I'm just kidding He says I got you brother and I could see by the look in his eyes When he was looking at me, I could see that there was no purpose See there was no Satisfaction see he was running I could see he was empty And I got on that stage And I did a song and then after the song I started to preach in a smoke shop. I Started to tell every person in there. I said Jesus loves you God's got a plan for your life and I started to tell my testimony I said I was a drug addict in the streets of San Jose, California But one day a man by the name of Jesus met me in my darkest moment Met me at my lowest moment and I said and I said to the whole smoke shop if God can do it for me I know that I know my friend God can do it for you, too Somebody give God some praise if you know, you're a kingdom carrier You're a kingdom carrier Anointed and appointed The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead living on the inside of you and I Why don't you act like it? And I remember seeing a Couple people jet out of the smoke shop and I'm thinking to myself those must be the prodigals I Get off the stage And I go outside right away and one of the persons one of the men who ran out He's sitting there crying outside Balling his eyes out And he says I knew I wasn't supposed to be here tonight And I'm so glad you came and gave the word that you gave I need to go back to God Okay, but it gets better that night I get a call from my brother Sammy and
And I didn't get to talk to him much after I rap, but I get a call from him and he says brother I want to say thank you for coming to my smoke shop And I say you're welcome man, and he said I also want to tell you man that I don't want to live like this anymore Come on Come on He says I don't want to be out here doing this no more and he said literally said these words He said I want to be doing whatever you're doing Somebody say follow me as I follow Christ It wasn't me that he was looking to it wasn't my influence. It wasn't my words But it was the anointing that God had given me and he wanted the Jesus. He saw the Jesus in me Now I'm gonna need everybody to praise as soon as I say this Years later, I can't think of how many years exactly my brother Sam Beato is Living in Louisville, Kentucky, and he is a youth pastor At a church called Believers Church in Louisville, Kentucky Don't tell me God can't do Miracle after miracle There is no sin too great. There is no darkness too deep that God can reach you Somebody give God a shout of praise God saved gave his life to the Lord youth pastor in Louisville, Kentucky beautiful children Him and his lovely wife Amy they got married in the kingdom Taking the world for Jesus Hallelujah You find your purpose you find your people I had a big Samoan that day I Had a big Samoan it came with me backed me up and we were able to reach The same way that you when you lock arms with your pastor and you back up your pastor to defend the harvest There is a harvest over this house There is a blessing coming in There are souls coming in but your leaders need people that will lock arms with them in the spirit pray Fast and say if you're not gonna stop winning souls pastor rich I'm not gonna stop winning souls pastor rich if you ain't thrown in the towel yet pastor
I ain't throwing in the towel if you won't stop preaching come on Then I won't stop preaching if you gonna pull up with the semi-truck come on now, and you gonna give them the gospel I'm pulling up with you You find your purpose your people And the last thing you find is you find your praise on the battlefield If I can get my brother on the keys, you find your praise on the battlefield. Psalms 34 verse one, I'm gonna read about another time in David's life. You know, you think you know what praise is in one season, and then you go into a storm or a battle and you find out what praise really is. Psalms 34, one through 10, let me give you the backdrop. David is running from King Saul, and he has the prophecy that was spoken over him that he's gonna be king, that he's called and anointed, and yet he's running from King Saul. And he's running to the hometown of Goliath who he had defeated, and he's running to the hometown of Goliath who he had defeated. And when he gets there, they start to realize who he is, so they wanna take him out. So the Bible says David started to act like he was crazy to get out of this jam. And they tell the king, they're basically saying this is David, the one who killed Goliath, like we can take him out, and he's in a jam, so he starts scratching on the door. And then he starts letting spit come down from his mouth. He's in a jam, he's desperate.
And I can only imagine, like, man, the prophecy isn't aligning with my current condition and situation. And the Lord gets him out of this jam, and he writes this psalm, Psalm 34, one through 10. It's one of my favorite ones. The reason why I gave you the backdrop is so you could understand that you could praise God in a place that the devil wants you to stay quiet. Says, I will bless the Lord at all times, even when I've gotta act crazy to get out of a jam. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord. Let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Imagine trying to lead worship in his position right now, in that situation. And he's saying, oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. Come on, somebody. He says, this poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.
Now, if you're talking to me, I'm not in a good place right there. But David's in that predicament saying, oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. The same way he declared in the midst of running from his enemies, one thing I desire, and this one thing I ask, is that I may dwell in the house of the Lord forever. He didn't ask. He asked for God to be with him. Oh, taste and see the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints. For those who fear him have no lack. The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. You find your praise when you've gone through some stuff. I thought I knew how to praise before my trial. And I would say, thank you, Lord, for the car. Thank you, Lord, for my shoes. Thank you, Lord, for this mountaintop season. But there's something about the valley low that brings a different kind of praise to you. And you start saying, Lord, when I should have died, you came through. Lord, when fear gripped me, you came through. Lord, when the devil was lying to my mind and I thought you were done with me, you came through. Lord, when anxiety had its grips on me, you came through. Praise looks a little different when you come out of a season with panic attacks.
Praise looks a little different when you come out of a season that God, he ripped you out of the dark place. I love that David says, bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Because sometimes we have to speak to our soul and tell ourselves, give God glory. And I'm going to finish with this. I'm almost done. I'm almost done. Where's my brothers and sisters? Here we go. Here we go. This past week I was at home and my two daughters, Winter and Summer, they wanted to do a service. They wanted to do a revival service in my house. And I made them like a little graphic and I put it on the TV. It said, Winter and Summer's Revival Service. It said, Awaken, Align, Advance. And they got so excited to put on this revival service. And they start, one of them starts preaching. Winter's my preacher girl. And then one of them's like leading worship on the side. And then the one leading worship was like, Winter, can I say something? They're working together. And when Winter starts preaching and she says, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, she says, we don't know when he's coming back. We don't know when he's coming back. We don't know when Jesus is coming back. It could be right now. It could be right now. So keep your lamps filled with oil. Keep your lamps filled with oil.
It could be right now. It could be right now. And she's got the Holy Spirit on her. I'm crying in my living room. And I said, I'm going to close the service on Sunday, talking about the judgment seat of Christ. And I want to talk to you about the two kinds of judgments that will come after you and I leave this earth. The first judgment is called the judgment seat of Christ that we read about in first and second Corinthians and the book of Romans. And this is the judgment for those that have given their lives to the Lord. Come on. And this is more like a reward ceremony. The judgment seat of Christ is a time where Jesus will reward you for the works that you have done in your life, in your Christianity, how faithful you were with what he entrusted to you. This is really going to happen. I know we're busy. I know we live in America, but have you thought about eternity lately? Have you thought about the fact that every one of us, 100% of this room, one day will say goodbye to this world and hello to Jesus and have to give an account for that? How faithful were you with what I entrusted you? Did you use your gifts to serve others? It's an award ceremony where you were, your motives and love for God, a desire for recognition or were you really serving with the right heart? How did you care for people that he placed in your life? Did you persevere with trials and with faith? Did you invest your life in what has eternal value? That's the type of judgment that will take place. I believe that it's going to have to do with how you even loved your spouse.
Did you love your wife like Christ loves the church? How you led your kids to Jesus, rewards. How you backed your pastor up and built the kingdom in your city. Come on somebody. How you gave to the poor. We were in Chicago, me and my brother, Eric, just the other day and this guy came up to the window and he was asking for money. I had no money and I looked at him. I rolled the window down. I said, Jesus loves you. And then it came out of me. I just said, I love you. And he looked at me and he tells me back, I love you too. But when he said it, it was like he. hadn't heard that in a long time. In those moments Jesus sees every part of our lives. And I don't know about you, but I want on that day to say, Lord, all was for your glory. I rapped for Jesus. I preached for Jesus. I lived for Jesus. Come on somebody. I fathered for Jesus. Come on. And if so be it, I died for Jesus. Hello. I said if it has to come to it, I lived and I also died for Jesus. And when I die, bury me deep. Come on somebody. And tell the world that I was loyal to the king. And what you did for God will stand. Second kind of judgment is called the Bema. The second kind of judgment is called the the great white throne. The first one's the Bema. The second is the great white throne. And this is the judgment seat you don't want to be in front of. This talks, this is spoken of in revelations, revelation, and it's not where you want to be. It's for those that chose not to surrender to the gospel of Jesus. And this conversation is going to be a little different. Like, why did you reject me? Why, when I gave you opportunity, why, when I opened the door for you, why did you reject me? Why didn't you lay down everything that was keeping you and hindering you from walking with me? Who knows, maybe even this night will be brought up when you came to rock and
you heard the message about the judgment seat of Christ. And the Bible says, if anyone's not found written in the book of life, there's going to be this book. And this, you're not named, if your name's not found in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. So this book is going to be opened, and your name is going to be searched for. And the sad part about that day is every person that's there, their name will not be found, because they chose not to surrender to Jesus. Stand to your feet with me right now, family. The cost of following Jesus is everything. Your reputation, sometimes your friends, your comfort. But one day, it will all be worth it. When they open up that book, and they find your name written in that book of life. I said the cost of Jesus is everything. Your comfort, sometimes your friends, it's a calling to lay everything down. I can look around this room and I can sense, and this has been even in my own life at times, that God has not been God in my life, in the sense that I have not placed him Lord of all. These idols creep in, these things, and we spend our time, and we get busy. And Christianity and Jesus is such a cool idea, especially right now in culture. But there is a remnant that are truly saying, all is for your glory. And laying down every part of their life, so that Jesus is first and foremost. So one day when they stand before Jesus, they can be written in that book. Full surrender tonight. If you came in here and you said, I'm preaching like a dying man, like this is my last message. If I had one more minute with you, this is what I would say. If you have not fully surrendered to Christ, and you just thought about these two judgment seats, and you say, I want to get my life right with God. I need to get my life right with God. If that's you, I want you to raise your hand right now. I see your hand. I see your hand. I salute you, man of God. Proud of you. The second thing I want you to do is walk up here, walk up here to me real quick. Walk up here. Come on. You lift your hands with me. This is why we came. This is why we came right here.
They're still coming. They're still coming. Come on. You got time. We'll wait. Come on. Come on. Come on. They're coming down. You're saying tonight, Lord, one day I'm going to see you. You're realizing tonight that Lord, one day I'm going to see you. One day I'm going to stand before you. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. And in that day, Lord God, I want to be found faithful. I want to be found faithful. Oh, the sweetest words to ever hear, the sweetest words to ever hit your ears will be these. Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter in. The sweetest words. Everything on this earth, everything we build, everything that has no eternal value. Come on, somebody. The money that we make. Come on. The jobs that we labor in. All of it will burn one day, but there will be a time where you're standing before Jesus longing to hear these words. Enter in thou good and faithful servant. If you're saying today, Lord, I want to give my life to you, I want to place my faith in you. I want to get this thing right. I want to get, I want you to get my life right, God.
With every head bowed and every eye closed, will you say this with me? Will you say, Jesus, I surrender all. Jesus, I surrender all. Withholding nothing. Every idol in my life, everything that has taken your place in my life, would you dethrone it right now? Ask God to dethrone it. Say, Lord, would you dethrone it? I want you to be king on the throne of my life. I want to give you my best. I believe you died on the cross for me and rose in three days so that I would be saved. I believe you're the king of kings and the Lord of lords. I believe with my mouth, I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that you are the king of kings and the Lord of lords. Have your way in my life. I place my faith in you, Jesus. Right there, we're welcoming our brothers and sisters into this relationship with Jesus. We're going to sing this over you. We're going to sing this song over you. As we do, I encourage you to repent. Just repent. Just say, Lord, every time I've turned away, every time I've walked away, every time I've rejected Lord God. I surrender everything. I give myself away. Do we have that song? I give myself away right now. I give myself away. Come on, tell Jesus all is yours. Tell Jesus all is yours.
Tell him all is yours, Lord God. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. Here I am. Here I stand. Even those that have already surrendered to Jesus, this is your opportunity to give God another yes. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Yes again, Lord God. I'll be obedient again, Lord Jesus. I say yes to you, Lord Jesus. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away.
I give myself away. I give myself away. I give myself away. My life is not my own. To you I belong. I give myself to you. My life is not my own. To you I belong. Come on, every believer in this place that says, I exalt Thee, Lord. I exalt Thee tonight. I exalt Thee tonight. Come on. Something happens when Jesus is exalted. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. Oh, Lord. You are mighty. You are mighty. You are mighty. You are mighty. You are mighty.
What a mighty God we serve. You are mighty. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. Oh, Lord. Exalt Thee now. Exalt Thee now with the heavens as Your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Be exalted now with the heavens as Your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Be exalted now with the heavens as Your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Be exalted now with the heavens as Your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. I exalt Thee. Come on, lift them high. I exalt Thee.
Be exalted, Lord. I exalt Thee. Oh, Lord. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. I exalt Thee. Be exalted now in the heavens, as your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Be exalted now in the heavens, as your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Be exalted now in the heavens, as your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Be exalted now in the heavens, as your glory fills this place. You alone deserve our praise. You're the name above all names. Oh Lord. You're the higher power. Darkness cannot stand. I see families up here saying, I exalt Thee. I see husbands and wives standing together saying, we're going to exalt Thee above everything else. Like, sports schedules are cool and all that, but I see families up here saying, we're giving God everything. And Jesus is the most important thing. Jesus is the most important person in our life. And He takes center stage. And I can sense a hunger in the room that there are people that are tired of giving things their time and love and affection. And winding up hurt or broken or drained. And tonight I see in the Spirit so many families, which is my heartbeat, realigning it. Saying, God, you are first. We will have, we will welcome the Holy Spirit into our home at the dinner table. And there is going to be, there's going to be an emphasis on this. I also see missionaries in this room. I don't know if this has been prophesied over the house, but I sense there's a mantle for missionaries in this room. And some of you, there's been a nation burning on your heart. If that's you, will you please run up here right now? Will you come up here if you're in the crowd?
There's been a certain nation burning on your heart to be a missionary and to go, to love, to preach the gospel. Come on, come on up. And I believe that out of this house, there's going to be a launching, a launching of missionaries. And in your prayer closet, you've literally seen it. You've seen the place and you know the name of the place, the nation. God has called you. Wow. Come on, somebody praise God. Come on. We're going to pray over you and we're all going to exalt Jesus together. Before we do that, I want to just, I see a brother here named Stephanato. Is that you? Yeah. Praise God. Just lift your hands real quick. And maybe somebody right next to him. You might not even know him. Just place your hand on him. Yes, thank you. Father God, I thank you. I thank you that in a season where lots of change has taken place, you have not changed what you said about him. I thank you, Lord, where in a season lots of change has taken place, you have never once changed what you say about him. And your words, you speak a better word. And so I rebuke and bind every lie, every word spoken over your life that came from the pits of hell. And I just pray tonight the word of God upon my brother. I pray the word of God upon my brother, the word of God upon his life. Still dreams, still call to be, still things to be unfolded. And I thank you, Lord, that you're reminding him. You'll never leave nor forsake him, Lord God.
Holy Spirit, seal this in his heart. In Jesus' name, I pray. All of the missionaries that are up here right now, we're gonna sing this together. And if you can, if you're physically able to, would you get on your knees with me? And every person in here that, we're almost done, y'all. Every person in here that you felt dry lately, dry spiritually, I know what it's like to go into rooms like this, sit in this service and be hurting, sit in this service and everything's going over my head because I can't get over, I can't get over the trial that I'm in. And I wanna speak to you right now. Maybe you didn't catch any other part of the service. Would you catch this part, please? Exalt Jesus with me for a moment. That's all I ask. And watch, watch the Lord begin to move upon your heart and your life. Every distraction removed. Every idol set aside, cast it down and eyes on Jesus. ♪ I exalt Thee, O Lord ♪ ♪ I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, O Lord ♪ ♪ I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, O Lord, I exalt Thee ♪ ♪ I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, O Lord, O Lord ♪
