Simply, let me read the Bible first, ok? It's in Acts 16, 19. It says here, The leaders of the youth realized that the hope of making money had vanished. They took the hand of Paul and Silas, and dragged them to the square before the authorities. They presented themselves before the magistrates, and said, These men are Jews, and they are uprooting our city. They teach us the customs of the Romans, and we are not allowed to admit or practice them. Then the crowd gathered against Paul and Silas. Then the magistrates sent them to be arrested, and they took off their clothes,

and beat them up. They threw them in jail, and ordered the jailer to guard them with the utmost security. When they received such an order, they were put in the dungeon, and then the feet were held in the tomb. Ok, what I wanted to tell you about this is that, even though Paul and Silas were in a situation where they were mistreated, beaten, they still had so much faith in our Lord. They still didn't care what state they were in, because they were beaten. Before, the jails were very dark, they were very dirty, and it's nothing compared to the prisons now. Now we have air conditioning, and they don't have anything. Despite all of this, they still had so much faith. They were still happy because they knew that Jesus was with them. So what I want to teach you is to always give your best. Always give your best. Sometimes we complain about a lot of things. We complain about things like, I can't go because my foot hurts, or I can't go because I'm sick.

I'm not going to go because I didn't sleep enough, or I'm not going to go to church because we make a lot of excuses, because we don't want to continue, but remember that God gave everything for us. He suffered so much on that cross, and despite so much pain, so much humiliation, He always, always loved us to the last moment. He even said, forgive them because they don't know what they're doing. He loved us so much that He always gave the best for us. Why can't we give the best for Him now? Many of us, without knowing it, give the best at work because we want to gain a higher position at work. Now I'm going to go to bed early because tomorrow I have a meeting, and it's very important because if I do well at this meeting, they're going to give me the position of supervisor. But we put a lot of effort into it, and that's what we need to think about. But when we go to church, they need help, right? They need help in any position in the church. We need someone to pick us up after church, right? They don't want to accommodate us in a chair. They don't want to help us, right? They don't do it with their heart. We need to be prepared all the time. If you really have a good relationship with our God, strong, you have to do it with passion, with all your heart, because He loves us with all His strength, with all His will, and with all His strength, right? When you go to church, you have to be prepared, without knowing what they're going to make you do, or just how you feel, just to hear the word, right? But you always have to give your best. You always have to be prepared. If they ask you, sister, can you help me with the chairs? Then you extend it, because it's part of Him. Because you have to be grateful all the time, all the time, because imagine, I don't think you would have given your life for someone else, right? It's something you start to think about sometimes. Would I do what He did for me, for someone else? We're selfish sometimes, and we don't do it. But it's very important to always give your best. And giving your best means that you're going to do it with all your heart, with all your strength, not just because you have an obligation to do it, or because you're ashamed to say no. Just let it come from you, always from the bottom of your heart, because it's a passion. If you love Him like that, then you definitely have to say yes or no. Because when you love someone, you want to do everything for them, right? For example, when you're trying to win someone over, right? Because you want to do everything, you want to do the most, more than just buying flowers, or I'm going to pick it up, I need a part-time job, you want to do the most to win that person over, because you're interested in that person, right? That's how you have to do it with our Lord. And I don't just say it in things like that. to do it as a job, no. You also have to be ready, for example, if one of our brothers or sisters just like in prison, right? If you see that your brother is down, that he is suffering, or that he is in depression or something, it is your right to go and lift him up. Look, for example, if I have a headache that day, but I see my brother there, that he is down, that he needs a hand, it doesn't matter what you are going through at that moment, because if you really want and have a good relationship with our God, it doesn't matter, you are just going to go to that person

and say, look brother, how can I help you? I want you to know that you are not alone, that I am here, because I assure you that our God will thank you from the bottom of His heart, because He was the one who taught us, that He gave everything for you. Because He was on earth with us, teaching us how, and during all that time, He always gave the maximum for us. He wanted to teach us, He wanted to teach us, and what's more, when you give the best for Him, you notice it later. I mean, the fruit that you, for giving so much action of grace, you start to notice. Then people start to tell you, well, what does my sister have that I want? She is happy, she has peace, I want what she is feeling, I want to be that person, I want to feel that peace too. And it is so simple, because you are always going to give the best of yourself. When, for example, let's say that when you love a person, you feel compassion, you feel love, you feel concern. that we love our brothers and sisters, always. He gets sad when we don't do what we should do, simply for listening to our flesh, right? Because we are weak. Sometimes we say, well, yes, I have a relationship with him, but I can't give this. I can't leave this. It's a tremendous sacrifice for us to be able to leave something. For example, I'm not going to go to the dance anymore. No, no, I still like to dance or whatever, right? So you can't go anymore, but you can, right? He couldn't do it when he gave his life for us. So, sometimes I don't understand why we have to sacrifice ourselves to be able to give everything, everything we have, to be able to be okay with him, right? Brothers, that's why I tell you to start from there, from that moment. It doesn't matter if you don't have good news from parole. It doesn't matter because if you know him, you should already know that he's coming, that it's his time, that it's when he's ready for you, not when you want. But he's right, because he makes you wait. You just keep giving your best and your situation starts to change. You start to have good news from your family. You start to shine. The guards there start to give you more respect, right? Everything comes out in order when you're with him. But you need to give everything, everything you have for him. Just like we do in this life, right? It's the same when we give it to him. We're never going to learn how to love each other the way he loved us. Because his love is incomparable to any other love we have. But what I know at this moment is that I practice every day to give my best for him.
