How y'all doing this evening? Man, what a great, great night we have ahead of us, you guys. I promise you, you do not want to leave early today. When we were praying during pre-service prayer, we really felt the Lord was going to touch the hearts of His people. And can I tell you something? You are in a very special place for such a time as this.

God has something for you. He wants to speak to you tonight. And we have some friends with us tonight that are worshiping prison ministry out here with us today. We have our missionary families here today. And I'm telling you, it's going to be a special night. So with that being said, I'm going to read you a scripture real quick in the book of Isaiah chapter number 55. And here's what it says. it says and I'm gonna pray it says come all you who are thirsty come to the waters and you have and you who have no money come buy and eat come buy wine and milk without money and without cost why spend money on what is not bread and your labor on what does not satisfy listen listen to me and eat what is good and you will delight in the richest of fair give ear and come to me listen that you may live who in the house tonight wants to live come on I'm not talking about physically I'm talking about spiritually the Lord has something for you today and here's what is gonna require from you and I both of us not just you because you're down here and I'm up here but me as well I have to come to God empty we come to God empty so he may fill us with the fullness and the richest of his glory amen so here's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna invite everybody in the house tonight to come up to the altar join me right here come on everybody come to the carpet you may not feel comfortable coming up to worship in front of a bunch of people you may not feel comfortable maybe clapping your hands and maybe jumping just a little bit but I'm asking you tonight to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord of Lords the King of Kings the one who made you who created you who is pleased by your worship amen all right father thank you Jesus for who you are God thank you Lord for your goodness and your mercy God we cannot be here today but we cannot be in your presence today God if you did not go to the cross the Lord tonight we simply surrender ourselves to you Lord we surrender our plans our vision God our will so that

you may have your way Lord God so father I pray tonight that we would decrease so you may increase God less of us and more of you so we honor you and we love you and we thank you and we say all of this in the name of Jesus come on let's do it very hungry people I feel like there's some hungry people who want to see one man in this name is Jesus and he's the reason why we're here but we're gonna go after Jesus tonight. I feel like that's such a joy and a privilege to worship the Lord. Come on, so let's worship. We have come to give you praise. David began to dance with all his might until his wife looked at him and said, what's wrong with you? And it's because of the presence of Jesus. It was because of God. And he danced so much that he danced out of his clothes. I'm not saying that we want to do that here tonight, but what I do want to say is that if God is that good to make David dance out of his clothes, I don't know your situation, but if he's good enough to make David dance out of his clothes, I think he can make us dance in here tonight. It might not be the best song. Some of us might got a Dougie in us. I don't know what your dance move is, but I believe that Jesus is worthy of a free worship in this room tonight. Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne and there was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll and it was sealed with seven seals and I saw a strong angel who shouted with a loud voice who is worthy to break the seals on this scroll and open it but no one in earth or on heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it but one of the 24 elders said to me stop weeping look the lion of the tribe of Judah the heir to David's throne has won the victory he is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals then I saw a land that looked as though it had been slaughtered but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the 24 elders he had the seven horns and seven eyes which

represent the sevenfold spirit of God that sent out in every part of the earth he stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one who is sitting on the throne and when he took the scroll the four living beings and the 24 elders fell down before the land each one had a harp and they held gold bolts filled with incense which are the prayers of God's people and they sang a new song with these words you are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it for you are slaughtered and your blood has ransomed the people for God and from every tribe language and people and nation and you have caused them to become a kingdom of priests for God and they will reign on the earth And I felt like we needed to be reminded of who we serve. We serve the one who is worthy to break the seal on the scrolls. And that same one who is worthy, he has given us a mission. Y'all all have heard the Great Commission to go out and baptize people in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, making disciples of all the nations. It says that every nation, tribe, and tongue will declare that he is holy, that he is worthy. And I feel like we disqualify ourselves because we look at our authority and we look how worthy we are and we look at what we've done. But Jesus is saying, I have the authority and I have commissioned you and I will go with you. So I wanna remind you tonight that you serve a holy God, that he's just looking for your yes. He's searching the earth and he's not looking for the person who has it all together, the smartest, most talented person.

He's looking for the person that is a man, a woman after his heart, a person who says, here I am, Lord, send me. So I want you to remind you that we serve a holy God who has the authority and it's not about us. Now, the mission field for you may actually be the mission field. It may be praying for a missionary, it may be sponsoring a missionary, or it may just be your workplace. It may be your family. And it's time to stand up and declare that we serve a holy God that has ransomed people, that his blood speaks a better word. There's a good news that people need to know that his blood speaks a better word for their lives. So Lord, I just pray over us tonight, God, that you would reveal yourself to us in a way that we've never known. God, that we would see your holiness, that we would see you and see you rightly, God, that you alone sit on the throne, that you alone are found worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. So Lord, as we continue to worship you, God, we're speaking that our hearts long to know you, our hearts long to see you, God. So reveal yourself to us, Jesus, Lord. It's your name, God, your name we pray, Lord.

in the philippines i know we've given testimonies last fall but a few things that they've done is the school called hope scholars that offers school to people that are very less fortunate that would never be able to attend college in the philippines and college is everything to them they cannot get a good job if they do not have a college education and so this they've opened up this school um and have blessed so many students and they've graduated they'll tell you more but we also went to different tribes muslim tribes that they partner with there and they've been there for about nine years and so we are just very honored we hope to possibly go back again in the near future and so um we just want to welcome them up now yeah we'll do a video first but i want to say this if you have a heart for missions okay we're gonna there's cards out there for these guys actually gina has one right there pg has one scan that qr code gets a little bit know a little bit more about them but if you want to go i'm going to just prophetically say this right now we're going next october so you better get your money come on quit buying the lattes and the energy drinks and put your money into a piggy bank and let's do this all right so make sure to keep an eye out for that but with that being said put your eyes to this video and i want y'all to give my friend a big old i'm talking lfya welcome amen when he comes up here after the video amen love you guys see you soon no sound play it again we're gonna just keep going all right would y'all help me real quick big old hand for my buddy So just, Taylor, come on. I think we got our first howdy just as we were walking in here, so that was good. I know not everybody says howdy in Texas, but one second. Let me just get my stuff set up here. All right, so it's good to be here. I think this is actually our very first time sharing in the US.

We just got back to the US a few weeks ago. So it's actually perfect that we're here with young adults because we actually say that we will probably never be pastors of adult adults. We were youth pastors in the States. In the Philippines, we're kind of youth pastors to Catholics and Muslims and Christians, and we'll share more about that. It's kind of a strange thing to say, but so good to be here. This is my wife. You should stand up. Her name is Sita, but in the Philippines, they call her Mama Sita. And that's not a bad thing. That's like a term of endearment over there, in case you're wondering. And my daughter Reagan is here with us. Stand on up there, give her a hand. So we've been missionaries there for about 10, 11 years, and it's been amazing. God's been doing some amazing things in the Philippines. And tonight, I want to talk to you guys about the bigness, I know that's not a word, the beauty and the breadth of God. And I don't know if you've ever talked to pastors about sermon prep, but it's not always our favorite thing to do. But this was my favorite sermon prep over the last couple of weeks, because Reagan and I went through

like five different national parks once we got home. And we had to pick up a rental van in North Dakota. So we drove through Glacier National Park. We drove through Yellowstone, the Tetons, Zion. We went through the Carlsbad Caverns. And so, and I was thinking, as we're going through these national parks, we're camping, I'm thinking, okay, after all this, I have to like prep a sermon for that day and later in this month. And God prepped my heart and my mind, even as I was out in the wild. And so I just want to share some of those things with you and how that relates to missions. So let me just pray for us right now. God, we thank you for this evening. We thank you for each and every person that's here tonight. We thank you for the team that came this last October. We thank you for what you're doing in them, what you're doing in the Philippines, what you're doing here at Life Fellowship. I just pray that you'd bless this time, bless this message from your word in Jesus' name, amen. Amen. So like I said, we drove through all these different national parks. We were camping. And in Psalm 121, one and two, and somebody already, God already put it on somebody's heart during worship,

but it says this in Psalm 121, one and two. I lift my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. When I was young, which was a long time ago, we had this song that my wife could sing for you, but it's this song, a kid's song. It says, my God is so big, so strong, and so mighty. There's nothing my God cannot do. Have you ever heard that one before? Okay, good, good, because I'm getting old, and I didn't know if anyone had ever heard that song. But so as we were going through these national parks, actually that picture there is at the top of a trail called Avalanche Creek. And of course, photos, as you know, really don't do it justice when you're taking photos of nature. But at the top of that trail, as Reagan and I hiked up, and by the way, Reagan is 17. She is a total beast when it comes to hiking. She was way up in front of me. I could barely catch up with her. And as we got to the top of that trail, one of the first days that we were driving through some of these national parks, I just sat on this log, on this lake, and I was choked up. I was overwhelmed because just seeing the beauty, seeing the bigness of God.

And as I sat there, I was just overwhelmed. I said, God, I'm sorry. God, I'm sorry. It was humbling because I'm looking at nature and saying, God, you made this. And the reason I was telling him sorry was because many times there's these big, huge things in our lives that we don't believe that God could take care of, right? There's mountains. and we sometimes come to an unbelief that, oh, God can't take care of that. This problem is still there. And I said to God, you know, you are big enough. I'm sorry for not believing that you're always big enough, that nothing is too difficult for you. In Jeremiah 32, 17, if you wanna turn there, Jeremiah 32, 17, I have all these little markers in here, if I can find it. If I can find it. It says this, it's also on the screen, I'm sure. You have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard. Nothing is too difficult for you. In Matthew 17, 20, it says this. You've heard this one before. It says, because you have so little faith, truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,

you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. And my question for you guys tonight is what is your mountain? I know we all have these things in our life that are challenges that we really sometimes believe, I don't know if God can do it. Now, no one would ever say that. You wouldn't say that to your friends or your family, but there is, sometimes we have this thing called unbelief, when it comes to something that really feels impossible. For us in the Philippines, one of the things that at times feels impossible is that, as we've shared, we work with Muslims. Now, in general, Muslims around the world take about seven years on average to come to Christ, and that's when you're in their life on a daily basis. So we've been in the Philippines over 10 years now, and we've only seen one student from all of the 50 students that we've helped graduate college, only seen one come to the Lord. So you can imagine that doesn't always feel like, oh, I'm doing a great job here, right? And that's the thing with missions. Depending on where you go in the world, there's some places that you can go and you can lead thousands of people to the Lord in a day, in a crusade, at a rally, whatever.

And there's other places that are really, really hard in the unreached parts of the world that it takes a long time. There's something called the fallow ground, right? God breaking up the fallow ground, and sometimes it takes years to lead people to the Lord in some of these kind of places. So what is your mountain? Is it finances? Is it broken relationship, addiction, depression, anxiety, loneliness? Fill in the blank. What is your mountain? Because God made the mountains. The God that made those mountains is able. He can conquer it with you. He can conquer those problems, as it says in that scripture. Lift your eyes up. That is where your help comes from. As the team that came to the Philippines this last year saw there's challenges there that you just don't have in the United States, living in a different culture. One of the things about Davao, the city we live in, even when you fly into the city, there's been times as I've flown, just flown down into the atmosphere of the city, you almost can feel the spirit of heaviness. Davao is in the southern part, it's in Mindanao.

All of the unreached people groups in the Philippines all live in Mindanao. So all the Muslims, all the unreached people groups are all in Mindanao. And so when most people hear Philippines, they don't think of unreached people groups. They don't think of Muslims because the Philippines is 80% Catholic, but all of the unreached people groups are down there. And the history of Davao is interesting. In the 80s and 90s, Davao was filled with crime and drugs and all these crazy, it was a very dangerous place to live. And someone came in, the mayor of the city, who actually eventually became the president, came in and cleaned it up. But how he cleaned it up was he cleaned it up with death. He killed off people. He just killed people if they were doing drugs, they didn't put them through due process or anything like that. So there's this spirit of death. There's this spirit of suicide. There's this spirit of depression on our city. And even when I leave Davao and go to Manila, I feel like a weight is lifted even off of myself and off our ministry. And so that's one of the heavy things. That's one of the mountains that we deal with. And of course, like I said, reaching Muslims is very difficult.

It takes a lot of time. We have seen Muslims come to the Lord. We have seen a friend of ours that we partner with that our team met while they were there, Pastor Ruel and his wife, they are helping translate the Bible into this Unreached People group's heart language. They've never had the Bible. in their heart language of this tribe. It's probably the least reached group in the Philippines. And as these Muslims are translating the Bible into their heart language, of course, they're reading it over and over and over again, slowly translating the Bible. And as they read it, of course, they're getting it into their heart language, they're getting it into their heart. And we've actually seen translators come to Christ as they do that. What the team that came this last October saw was that we have a group called Hope Scholars. It's a college scholarship program. Like I said, it's kind of like a Muslim slash Catholic slash Christian youth group. We study the Bible with them. We don't really have worship like you would have on a stage here, but we teach them different values and lessons and we break into small groups, study the Bible. And God is leading them, leading these people closer to him.

We do, you know, a lot of people think of missionaries and they think of, you know, what I'm doing now, I'm on a stage. But we need missionaries in foreign places. We don't necessarily need preachers, right? When I'm in the Philippines, I rarely preach. I definitely am not going into a Muslim village and standing up and preaching. That would be the first and last time they'd have me in their village. But we need everything and anything. People that start businesses, we do sports ministry. We just built a half court basketball court in one village. We built a preschool. Anything you can think of to get into the lives of the unreached, we can do it. And so think about it, pray about missions, pray about coming to the Philippines or going on a missions trip wherever you guys, wherever your church goes on missions trip in the next year. The next, you can go to the next slide. The other thing that, as we left Glacier National Park, we headed to a place called Yellowstone. You've probably heard of it. And in Glacier, they had told us that there had been like 50 something bears in our campsite over the last month. And we saw no bears in Glacier. And believe me, we went looking for the bears.

Not smart, but we went looking for bears. Not like looking, but like we were hiking and everybody else on the trails for some reason had like bear spray and had guns. And I'm like, maybe I should get some bear spray. Maybe I should get a gun, but I didn't. Anyway, so we didn't find any bears in Glacier, so we head to Yellowstone. And in Yellowstone, we're traveling around and we're like, God, let us see a bear. That'll be fun. I don't know why I'm talking like that. But anyway, that's how you talk when you wanna see a bear. So we went all over Yellowstone over a couple days and we saw all these bison, like thousands of bison in this field. We're like, thank you, Jesus. And then we go traveling through the different parts of Yellowstone and then we saw this bear. And so that was one of them. I was about 20 yards away from the bear. They actually tell you to be at least 50 yards away, so I'm not good at math, but that's okay. I tried to say, maybe I zoomed in. I don't know, let's just say that I did. And so that was a black bear. But anybody that knows anything about bears, they're like black bears, big deal, because we have those in California.

Okay, but we wanna see a grizzly. So the next couple days later, we were driving through the Tetons and there was this huge grizzly that ran through this area where there's lots of people. We weren't even looking for it. And so that was kind of exciting. I kind of peed my pants a little bit. No, I didn't, just kidding, but I almost. But I am getting older, so any, okay, nevermind. Job 12, seven to 10, I had too much caffeine. I don't know why you guys took me to Starbucks before a young adult service. I also turned 50 this year, so I'm like the oldest person in the room now, great. Yeah, 50. Okay, Job 12, seven through 10. It says, but ask the animals, they will teach you. Or the birds in the sky, they will tell you. Or speak to the earth, it will teach you. Or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. In Psalm 50, actually Psalm 33, six, I think it might be up there as well. So we went to Yellowstone, saw some pretty amazing animals, some different things. We were in the Tetons, we saw some moose.

I'd never seen a moose before. We saw multiple moose. I'm not sure if that's mooses or meese. Does anybody know? I don't know, mooses. Moose, it's just moose. Oh, I'm glad. Texas, you guys know what you're talking about. Good job. Actually, we went to Zion National Park. That's a picture there. And from Zion, obviously they're not talking about this Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. And in Psalm 33, six. It says, by the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. We went to a place, and that's where this photo's taken, called the Narrows. And everybody that I've ever met that's went to Zion has said, if you only do one hike, go to the Narrows. And the thing about the Narrows is it's this river. You're hiking up this river. And it was probably my favorite hike of all time. One second, speaking of water. And it's about 6 1⁄2 miles up this river that you go and then you hike back down. But you're in the water most of the time. And it was just so beautiful. As I'm walking up this river with Reagan, I'm literally just looking up at these rocks.

I'm getting choked up. And people probably thought I was crazy because I was like, thank you, Jesus! And just echoing, right? And they're like, who is this guy? Get him away from me. And so what the thing is about Zion, though, is it has these 1,500-foot walls. And there's one section called Wall Street that's just, you're seeing it, and your eyes don't even believe that it's this beautiful. And one of the things that the park ranger tells you before you go on this hike is he says, you're gonna want to look down because you're hiking through the river and there's these rocks, these very slippery, wet, huge rocks, and it's kind of like you're walking on large, slippery bowling balls, and you slip and you fall, which I did a few, six or seven times, and landed on my face. But he reminds you, reminds you, look up, right? Look up. Because you can go anywhere in the world and walk through a river and be looking at some ugly rocks on the ground under the river, right? But he's like, he just reminds you before you go on this hike, look up. And so I had to, I literally reminded myself, my daughter probably thought I was crazy.

I'm like, oh yeah, look up, oh yeah, oh man, right? And I did that like probably 10 or 15 times. And again, that scripture, I lift my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from you, from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. So there's Reagan walking up Wall Street, and that is exactly what life is like, though, right? We obviously, and this walking up this river, I had to look down at times, or I would slip and fall. And even when I was looking down, you still slip and fall, because you can't see under the water. But constantly, I had to stop and look up. And that's a picture of our lives, right? On a daily basis, we're walking, and there's these challenges in front of us, and we need to look at them, but at the same time, we have to constantly remind ourself to keep looking up at the beauty of the Lord, because he is beautiful. He is amazing. It's the same thing in missions life. Even as we traveled up that river, actually, when we got to where you're supposed to turn around, unless you have a permit, you can go farther.

It's like three, three and a half miles up this river, and I look at my watch, and it says I've gained like 3,000 feet of elevation. And I'm like, that's impossible, right? Because other trails we were on, if it said you're gonna gain 3,000 feet, like in Glacier, you're just going straight up. But in the Narrows, of course, rivers obviously flow downhill, but it's such a gradual slope that you don't even realize that you've traveled up 3,000 feet up this river. And again, that's exactly life, right? We get overwhelmed when we have, if you told somebody you were gonna travel 3,000 feet up, or six miles up a river, they'd be like, no, thank you. But as you're just taking one step at a time, and you're looking what's just right in front of you, you don't realize that you're slowly going up. And that's what missions is like, especially when you're working with hard-to-reach people groups. You're, every day, you're just, and my wife has to remind me, because she's more positive than me, but it's like, okay, just keep going. Just one more step, keep going, and then when you look back, you're like, how did I get here?

How did we get this far, when you're just taking one step at a time? I'm a long-distance runner, I know I don't look like it, but it's just one step at a time, and really slowly, especially in my 50s, it's just super slow. Anyway, but it's the same thing, and in missions life, it's the same way. There's days that you're just, in the Philippines, where you're just like, just get me through the day. This heat, this humidity, like Texas, you guys have a smidge of humidity here, but in the Philippines, it's like Florida times three, and then Texas heat times, well, times one, but it's about the same heat, but the humidity is a little bit crazy. You could ask your friends who came. Ask Chyna over here, or Lexi, or Grace, or whoever else is here. It's super humid. Did you guys love it there? Oh, good, yeah, good. They loved it. But there's these struggles on a daily basis, the humidity, the heat, it's a different culture, and you don't always realize that you are moving forward. You have to remind yourself constantly to look up. I tell my kids, who are all teenagers still, just barely, they want to examine their lives

at the end of the day. I'm like, don't do that. Stop it. You're tired, you're hungry, you're hangry, you're a teenager, just chill, just go to sleep. But they wanna discuss all these things, like my life, I don't know how I'm gonna make it. I'm like, don't do it. And then I do that sometimes, too, and my wife's like, just go to sleep. No more talking. It's okay. Tomorrow's a new day. Amen. So, again, that spirit of heaviness, that's another thing that we deal with. In Devao, obviously Muslims have something called Ramadan, and during Ramadan, it's even a heavier spirit of heaviness than ever before. Like, you can feel it in the city. And the last but not least is, we talked about the bigness of God, the beauty of God, and this scripture about the beauty of God. So, one thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to gaze on the beauty of the Lord, to seek him in his temple. And now, sometimes we think of temple, we think of a church, but where I was at,

this was like a temple. It was so beautiful out there. Don't always get to do that, but I'm so glad that we did. So, the last but not least is the breadth of God, or the depth of God. It says in Ephesians 3, 17, I pray that being rooted and established in love may have power together with all the Lord's holy people to grasp how wide, how long, how high, and deep is the love of Christ. When we were in the Narrows, as we were hiking up, of course, it's way down, you're way down underneath all these huge canyons. And one of the things that God whispered to me, he's like, you're never too far away. There's no one that's ever too far away from me. I can reach down into the depths of the Narrows. But then, actually, the next place we went was the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. And they are actually 800-something feet down below the earth, so this is a picture, not a lot of good pictures in Carlsbad Caverns because it's so dark down there. But the same thing, as God was saying, he can reach anyone, anywhere, and he wants to. He wants to reach us wherever we are at. His love is wide and deep. And can you go to the very next slide, I believe? So that actually is, you may have heard of this, it's called the Forest Gump Point.

It's out in the middle of the Monument Valley in, I think, the very southern part of Utah or the very northern part of Arizona. But it's, obviously, you've probably seen it in movies. It's this point, all these people actually go out there and they're in the road, you're trying to take a picture, and you're waiting for them to get off the side of the road, even though there's nothing else out there. So it says here in Isaiah 59, one, surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. So God, no matter where you're at, he can reach you, in the darkest place, in the deepest place. And that's why we go where we go in the Philippines. There's another slide there, I think you can go. And just talking about the breadth of God, right? He loves every single unreached tribe. You know, there are over 7,000 unreached tribes in the world, over 7,000, almost as many tribes as there are islands in the Philippines. And those are all unreached people groups, which means it's less than 2% of them have either ever heard of the Lord or actually know the Lord. And that makes up about 40% of the world's population. So think about that. In 2026, still 40% of the world are part of different unreached people groups that have never heard his name, or that have never had a chance to know him.

And in fact, it's happening actually all around the world with Muslim groups, especially, is he's coming in their dreams. You may have heard of this phenomenon. And he'll come in their dreams, and he'll show up as Jesus in this white robe, or sometimes he'll put a person in their dream, like a missionary, and they go and find that person. It's actually how a lot of Muslims. are coming to the Lord around the world. But again, he loves every tribe, every people. His arm is not too short. He loves each and every individual, right? The depth of the Lord. He's willing to leave the 99 for the one. So that's some photos of us working with, we have a preschool in the Philippines, we have a elementary tutoring center in the Philippines. We do lots of different things, working with kids, teenagers, college students. In fact, this next picture is of our friend Vincent. That's, some of our team would have met him while they were there. It says there in Ephesians 5, 8, for you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, live as children of light. That's actually the first Hope Scholar that we've had that's come to the Lord, that's made a decision for Christ. His dad is Muslim, his mom is Catholic. And even with him, it took us many years

as we kind of slowly were talking to him about the Bible, talking to him about prayer, to lead him to the Lord just in the last year or so. Another student, one of our students that your team would have met, her name is Kenny Rose. It says there, look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or store away in barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? So God sees every single person. Kenny Rose's story, she actually grew up as, she's a believer, but she dealt with depression. And about two years ago, she decided to, she attempted suicide. She had already attempted suicide multiple times. And one day in May of 2024, she attempted suicide. And Sita, my wife, and Becca Sue, she's our MA, our missionary associate, they came to work with us. God sent Becca Sue to the Philippines probably, if nothing else, just for Kenny Rose because Becca Sue has worked with people that are suicidal, that are depressed. She works in mental health. And on this one day in May, they couldn't get ahold of Kenny Rose. And so they decided to find her house. They'd never been to her house, but by the Holy Spirit, they found it. Different people, they would ask people on the street,

and somehow they knew where she lived. They found her house. They knocked on the door of Kenny Rose's house. And the grandma came and said, oh no, she's not here, she's at work. And Sita says, no, no, I know she's here. Like, I feel that she's here. And so they let them in, and she was passed out on the floor of the bathroom. She had taken over 19 pills trying to take her own life. And they pulled her out of the bathroom. The grandma was freaking out, screaming. And they started praying for her. And as they pulled her out, she had a pulse. And then all of a sudden, she lost pulse. She went limp. She actually died for, I don't know how long, a minute or something. And they just started praying harder, praying in tongues. And God raised her from the dead. God raised Kenny Rose from the dead. And remember, when someone deals with depression, and they try to commit suicide, and God raises from the dead, sometimes you would think, oh, they're gonna be good. No, no, no, she's still, after that, still dealt with depression, right? But we walked her through the process, walked her through helping her understand that this is a chemical imbalance,

that there's different things. And now Kenny Rose is leading other people to the Lord. And she's an inspiration. I myself deal with depression. And so I help Kenny Rose, just different things that I do as I walk my walk with the Lord, but also I run, partly because of that. I jump into a large freezer full of water. It's called taking an ice bath. You might have heard of it. It sounds crazy, kind of is. But it definitely helps my mood for a few hours. But the point is, God can do it. Amen? He can do anything. He can raise the dead. They've seen it. My wife saw it with her own eyes, praying for Kenny Rose. She raised from the dead. If he can raise the dead, he can do anything. I've seen it when I was younger in Africa, seeing the dead raised. And he's still doing it. People sometimes believe that the stories in the Bible, oh yeah, that was thousands of years ago. He doesn't still do that. He still does it. He's still able.

He's still able. What I'm saying is, when you see a pastor or a missionary on stage, you might think, oh, he's got it all together. I could never do what he does. No, sometimes pastors and missionaries, when they say things, from the stage, they're preaching to themselves. They're like, no, he's able. Like, I have to tell myself, Troy, he's able. I have to keep telling myself because there's mountains in my life, even as a missionary, that don't seem like they can move. Amen? But they can, right? In the scripture we read earlier, Matthew 17, 20, it says you can say to this mountain, move. Maybe that's what happened in Texas. Maybe you have no mountains because somebody had so much faith here. You say that it's bigger in Texas. Maybe your faith is big in Texas and somebody hundreds of years ago was like, mountain, move. You guys moved them all over to Colorado and Arizona or wherever the mountains are, right? Just kidding. But maybe, just maybe, we can move mountains with his help or he can move mountains with our help, amen? So I wanna encourage you to come on a missions trip, to go overseas.

God can reach wherever you're at, how far. At your worst moment of your life, God was sitting right there. He wasn't far away. He was right there. You're like, oh, the hell. Think of the worst moment, your worst moment or whatever it was. Maybe you don't wanna think about it, but he was sitting right there. He was still with you and he wasn't disappointed in you and he wasn't like, oh, this guy. He was just like, come on, get up. You can do it. You can do it. Just one more step, right? I'm walking up the narrow, slipping and falling on my face. My daughter's laughing at me. Whoa, you okay, dad? Get up, you can do it, old man. Keep moving forward, right? Amen? He can do it. Again, I'm preaching to myself. I'm preaching to you. Come on a trip. He can reach, if he can reach you, you can reach others in foreign countries. Here in Texas, here in McKinney, you can reach others. But come on a trip for two weeks

or maybe God's calling you to be a missionary long-term. You might think that sounds crazy. I was called to be a missionary when I was like five or six years old. And of course, I didn't go at five or six, right? But he called me and he led me on this journey. We were youth pastors for many years. And we're like, why are we youth pastors? We're supposed to be missionaries. Well, when we got to the mission field, guess what? We're youth pastors of Muslims and Catholics now, right? He used that. I went to school to be a teacher. I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. I know it sounds crazy. I'm like scaring him away. But when we get to the Philippines, I'd never taught kindergarten. Two years ago, I taught kindergarten. It's like the best job in the world, so much fun. Just playing around, teaching them stuff, you know, ABCs, one, two, threes, stuff like that. But God can use your gifts no matter what they are. You don't have to preach from a stage. You don't have to play a worship song, even though those are wonderful things that I love doing. But whatever your gifts are, whatever's in your hand, God can use it to lead others to him. It might be a little harder than it sounds or what you've heard on TV, but he can do it.

He can use you. I'm gonna call my wife up, Mamasita. And we're gonna close in prayer. And we're gonna ask you just a few questions. Maybe you have a mountain that you need to bring before the Lord. Maybe God's calling you into missions, whatever it is. So our God is definitely able, amen? Our God is definitely able. But he gets to partner with some special people. He's saying, I don't wanna do this alone, I need you. That's what ministry outside the four walls of church is. Whether you're home missions and working in a prison and doing ministry, or you're going to the streets, or you're evangelizing at In-N-Out, or you're going overseas, or you're going to a different state, he's saying, I am able, but I need you. I need you to do something. And what I know about young adults is you're pumped. You're like, let's do it, let's go. Where are we going? What are we doing? You're pumped. You don't need preparation like older people where we say, we need to plan a few days out. Your friend calls you in the morning and you're like, yeah, let's go, let's do it, let's go. And God just needs you to say yes.

He just needs you to say, yeah, let's go. Let's go somewhere, let's do something. But he's calling you to do more. I don't stand here and Troy doesn't stand here because we have it all. Altogether, like he said, we just keep saying yes, we just keep being obedient, we just keep going. But he still says, Seetha, there's more. The church prays for Jesus to come back. I pray for him to give me a little more time. The church says, come, Jesus, come here, come now. Well, you guys are tired, you're overwhelmed. All the things of this world, I got that, I get that. But I ask Jesus, give me more time. Give me more time to talk to Habib. Give me more time to talk to Roshani. Give me more time to talk to these people that need you so much. I need more time. You have family members, they need more time. You have people that you see in your work, they need more time. They need you to be bold with your faith. Be bold with your faith. It's easy to be bold with your faith in here. It's easy to worship the Lord when the glory falls in here. It's that time where we're filling up, we're getting strength from him, we're getting encouragement from him. But he needs you to flow out living waters from within you

and give out and to go and to speak and to do and he needs you to do more. He's texting you because you know you guys don't take calls. So he's texting you, hey, I want you to go here and you're gonna respond with emoji or thumbs up or any of your things I don't understand, words, letters that mean something. But it's gonna mean, yeah, let's go. I'm good to go. In my era, we said, I'm down to go, I'm down to do it. Let's go. That's all he wants from you. He wants you to respond with, yeah, let's go. Yeah, let's go. Because you are being asked to go and do something great with all the strength with you. He's the one that empowers. He's the one that protects. He's the one that has anointed you to go and if you have not been anointed, he's saying, well, take one step. Take one step. We always say you don't get holier on that plane ride over. It's like 16-hour plane ride. You don't get holier, you don't gain more jewels, you don't become this completely spiritual person. You have all the issues, but you're backed by the strength of the Lord and the love of the Lord and the encouragement from the Lord, which makes what we do a gift.

If the team found anything about us, it would be we love what we do. It is a sweet spot to give our life to the Lord. It is a sweet spot to completely surrender it all. People ask me about money, how we do all this. It's a sweet spot to say he's got it. The Lord's got it. I rely on him for everything. I surrendered everything. I've surrendered my life, my family. I've surrendered my family. They're all in California. I do get calls. Well, my dad still calls, he's 77. Mija, when are you coming home? I got back in that plane. I came back to LA. I went to Bakersfield, they're in Bakersfield. Mija, you're done, right? You're done? We're done with missions? You're not going back? Dad, I surrendered. I surrendered. I surrendered it all. And that's what he's asking of you. What can you surrender? Because he will always ask you for more because he gave it all. He does not want you to just give what you have to.

He wants to give you more. You say, I'm gonna go tell my friend about Jesus. He's gonna say, go tell five friends about Jesus. He just wants you to say more. We're gonna pray, and as we pray, I want you to come to the altar, if that's okay. It's an altar church, we do altars? Come to the altar, whatever it is. Do I want you to come to the Philippines? For sure, because we have so much fun. It's so much fun in the Philippines. But if God's called you to another country, go to that country. If God's called you across your. street, go across the street. If God's called you to the prison, go to the prison. But do not use excuses of I can't. Because God's not asking for your power. He's saying, what can I do in you? You can. You can do it. You can go. You can do more. And after you do something, he's gonna say, now do this again. Almost 11 years we've been on the field. And the conversation I had with my parents just before I got to Texas, I flew in. I was not in any of those pictures because I was the sender of that group.

But I said, mom and dad, I'm heading back to the Philippines. I gotta go back. There's too much to be done. I have to go back. So we're gonna sit with the Lord a little bit and then I'm gonna call you to come. But we're gonna sit just quiet as he whispers something to you. ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ Now, if you feel a calling to missions, remember, if it's across the street, if it's to a prison, if it's to California, we need you there. If it's to New York, if it's to Minnesota, where my boys go to school, if it's to another country, I'm gonna ask you to come to the altar. I'm gonna ask you to come and release it all and say, God, I don't know what you have planned, but I surrender because I know I need to be bold with my faith. I know that time is running out. And the scripture says, until all have heard. Until all have heard. So I wanna invite you to come.

And we wanna pray for you as you go and you do missions. We wanna pray for you as you go and reach out. Come and surrender it all. Might not be tomorrow that you're going to another country. It might be a month from now. It may be 10 years from now, but you're willing to surrender it all. Whatever God has, just come. Lord God, as they come, Father, I just pray for a special anointing on this church. I just pray for a special anointing on this church. I just pray for a special anointing on this church. I pray, Lord, that they continue to have a missional heart, continue to send teens, Father God, to be encouragements, to be the encourager to the missionaries, to be the encourager to the people that are there. But missions, trips, Lord God, it's about growing their faith so they could see how big you are. How big you are, Lord God. Lord, you are big in all of our circumstances. You are above all, Lord God. You are holy. All the things that we sang, Lord God, that deserves our surrender. Father God, we pray for our field in the Philippines. We pray for the Muslim people group. We pray for the students to come to know you, Lord God. We pray, Lord God, for more time,

more time to serve, more time to do your work, more time to shine our light. Father God, we pray for more time. Father God, for the people in Texas that don't know you and all the people that are coming in. Father, we pray for more time, that they might hear you, that they might know you one day, that they might surrender everything to you, Father God. We thank you, Lord, for giving us the strength. We thank you, Lord, for giving us protection. We thank you, Lord, for partnering and choosing to partner with us, Lord God, who are nothing. But Lord, we gave it all. We surrender it all. And what a gift that is. What a gift that is to surrender it all, to not worry about a thing because you have everything under control. We surrender it all. Lord, I pray for the ones called to missions. I pray, Lord God, that you would continue to burn in their heart this calling and that nothing can stop them because now that they've been called, guess what? Things are gonna start blocking your way. But I pray, Lord God, that those would be moved. I pray all the obstacles would be moved. I pray for the path to be set. I pray for favor to go before them, Father God.

We thank you, Lord, for these lives that have truly surrendered. And we thank you for all the ones in this room that have already surrendered and completely give everything to you. Bless this church, Lord God. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. Maybe you guys are not done yet tonight. I know I see one, two, three, four, five, six, it's not about numbers tonight, but I will tell you one thing. Isaiah chapter six. When Isaiah had a vision from the Lord, he had the opportunity to experience the glory of God. He was able to see the seraphim. He was able to hear the trembling of the building when they were singing, holy, holy, holy is the Lord. And at that time, the Lord began to speak to Isaiah. And Isaiah, as you guys know, said this. After his heart was caught by the Lord, he was reminded of why he was even there. He was reminded of the calling that God put on his life. He was reminded of the holiness of the Lord. And in verse 17, he says, Lord, now that I've realized who I am in you, now that I've seen and experienced your glory, now that I've felt the presence, God, I know that I am not here by accident. So as Mama Sita said, you're not here by accident.

You have been called by the Lord. Even though we only see six people up here right now, I'm telling you that each and every single one of you in your seats right now is called by God to do something amazing for the kingdom. But I feel like we're in a place today where we don't know how to surrender because we don't know how to trust. We don't know how to be vulnerable. We're in that generation where we don't know if we can really walk with our eyes closed without somebody pushing us over or maybe tripping us. And I'm telling you today, in the area of serving Jesus, just like Isaiah, who got the experience, the glory of God, it brought him to repentance. And the very next step to him repenting to the Lord was saying, God, I know what you've done for me. I know who you are, Lord. I've experienced you, Lord. I know you love me without condition. Lord, it is my turn to go tell other people about how good and how merciful you are. And if that is you today, I'm not asking you to come up here. We're gonna sing a song about surrendering. I'm gonna challenge every single person in this room today in your own way to give God your everything. And maybe some of y'all, here's the reality. A lot of us today may not, or maybe we're not ready to give God our everything because we're not ready to give up the things in our lives that is pleasing to us.

And I'm asking Jesus today to take that away from you little by little by little. He is the God that gives and also the God that takes away. So don't doubt the Lord. And tonight's not your night, it's gonna be tomorrow night. If it's not at this altar or in this church, it's gonna be in your bedroom when you're all by yourself. And God is gonna speak to you because guess what, he is that powerful. And he loves you, and most importantly, he loves his people. And if you have the answer, the Bible says to be ready in season, out of season to answer for the hope that lies within you. You now know the truth of Christ. You know the power of the cross. You know the power of his blood that has set people free. How dare you and I to keep it within us to not share because we don't have the gifting. We can't speak very well. Maybe I stutter, maybe I'm a quiet person, maybe I'm an introvert. God is saying, it is your turn, it is your time, it is your season, man and woman of God. And I wanna use you for the glory of myself so I can be glorified in you as you speak to people. So as we sing this song, I'm gonna have everybody in the room to stand up. Stand to your feet tonight. Everybody stand to your feet. Let's give God some reverence this evening

as we close out this service with a very, very simple song. As a matter of fact, it's an old school song. And it's talking about I surrender. I surrender all to you, Jesus. What does that mean? God, I surrender myself. I surrender my plans. I surrender my purpose. Lord, I surrender my will, Lord. Let your will be done, God, not my will, but your will be done in all that I do. So Lord, thank you, Jesus, for these young people of God that I know you wanna use. Lord, there's so many testimonies out there, God, of what you've done in our lives. And Lord, I pray that this testimony, God, would erupt, literally explode in our bodies, God, that it would begin to come out of our mouth, the things that you have done, God, the things that you have promised us, Lord, the things that you have delivered us from, Lord, that we'd begin to tell other people around us, whether it be at work or at school, God, or maybe across the street or a different city or a different country, Lord. God, I thank you for the opportunity, Lord, to be a light and an example of who you are in our lives. Jesus, we honor you. And we surrender ourself to you, God,

because you are worthy of our surrender. You are worthy of our praise. You are worthy of our honor, Lord. And Lord, tonight, we do nothing short of giving ourselves to you, God, that you may be in control. If we've been choosing our own way, if we've been choosing our own thoughts, our own plans, God we lay it down here tonight. Because Lord your plans aren't to harm us Lord but to give us hope and a future which is what your word says God. Tonight we just, we give you everything Lord.

We give you a fresh surrender. And we love you Lord, we thank you. Hey listen I'm so glad that you all decided to come and worship with us here tonight and hear what my brother missionary had to share and if the Lord spoke to your heart don't be afraid to come and speak to them and I'm sure they'll be here at some point and y'all can come over here and if the Lord has spoke to you about missions and about just going out into the earth
