What if the biggest threat to your faith isn’t doubt, but comfort?

Most of us would never say we’ve rejected Jesus. We believe in Him. We might even go to church. But if we’re honest, we’re still deciding which parts of our life He gets to lead. Our money? Our relationships? Our plans? We keep a little back, just in case.

In this message from Church of Hope, we look at one of the most uncomfortable things Jesus ever said, to a church that thought it had everything together: “Because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16). But here’s the good news hiding in this hard word: Jesus doesn’t confront you to condemn you. He confronts you to call you closer. He’s standing at the door, knocking (Revelation 3:20).

You’ll hear: ✔ 3 signs of lukewarm faith: mistaking activity for intimacy, confusing comfort with God’s favor, and being the last to notice ✔ Why you can wear the cross without carrying your cross (Luke 9:23) ✔ How to move from good intentions to real obedience (John 14:15, James 1:22) ✔ What it actually costs to follow Jesus, and why it’s worth it (Luke 14:25-33) ✔ A simple prayer to ask God to search your heart (Psalm 139:23)

If you’ve felt stuck in routine faith, distant from God, or like you’re going through the motions, this message is for you. Jesus gave His all for you. You don’t have to keep offering Him only some of you.
