Expectant and asking God to speak to them through dreams. I Think I'm going to have a vulnerable moment here Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of holy disruption I'm your host Heather shot. And today we have a special episode for you. We are talking about dreams and Dreams has been a way that God has spoken to me the majority of my life Even before I understood that God speaks through dreams Many of you may know this maybe you don't but John Paul Jackson was Landon's and I spiritual father who is extremely gifted in teaching and understanding Dreams and visions we see in the Word of God over and over especially in the Old Testament God's speaking to men through dreams It was a normal way that God spoke and then Acts 2 17 says in the last days God says I will pour out my spirit on all people your sons and daughters will prophesy Your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams This means that God desires for dreams be a normal way that he communicates with us today I just want to simplify this for people because a lot of people think that dreams visions interpretation of dreams It's a super mystic thing and that you're not spiritual enough for this You can't understand it. And so then we stop seeking God and his voice to speak to us through dreams But visions are very similar to dreams simply put they're just daydreams God can speak to you in the day where maybe you just have a quick flash and you just have a quick vision where you see something that God is giving you and a lot of times he'll give you a Revelation to understand it as he is showing you to speak to you about what he's requesting of you

Dreams and prophecy go hand in hand Prophecy in God's voice goes hand in hand and we have seen the church This is a problem shove out the gift of prophecy in fact push out many of the gifts of the Spirit as Well as the Holy Spirit and now you have Christians that are no longer seeking to hear God's voice That we are no longer seeking his wisdom his direction his understanding For our lives and then we stop asking God to speak and therefore dreams have ceased God's voice has ceased and you have a dry church that is not hearing the words of the Lord So we are not stewarding the words of the Lord and what we do not steward God will give to somebody else if you do not steward his voice He will choose somebody else to speak to if you do not steward dreams. He will give dreams to somebody that will I have an example to share with you it was it was probably about a year ago and I'd woken up one particular morning and I had realized as soon as I woke up that it had been a few months that God had not spoken to me through a Dream. This is super abnormal because I dream all of the time. Sometimes I'll have multiple dreams in a night Usually every single week God will speak to me and give me a couple of God dreams a week So when a few months had passed I knew something was up I woke up and I said Lord Why have you not spoken to me through dreams lately and so quickly he answers me and says because you stopped writing them down And I felt so much conviction Conviction instantaneously because I knew in the book of Daniel Daniel said when he when he would receive dreams from God, he would write them down This is the first step to stewarding dreams from God Is that when he speaks to us that we honor the words of God? We write them down because many dreams we may not understand now It could take years to understand or to come into fruition So long-term stewardship means I have to write the dreams down We're gonna be talking about all different types of things on dreams today But I really want to encourage you to go listen to one of my newest sermons that I just released on

Dreams because I talk about this very thing how to steward dreams that the Lord would continually Speak to you through dreams. You can go to YouTube and listen to that sermon. But today we're gonna be talking about the importance of dreams, distinguishing between God dreams, soul dreams, and demonic dreams, as well as dream interpretation. I have an incredible guest with me today. His name is Vlad. You've probably seen him on YouTube because he has a huge following. I believe it's millions and he may correct me. Maybe he will, maybe he won't, because he's humble and he doesn't see it as a big thing. But I know in being in his presence, he's a humble man of God, that God has entrusted him with a massive platform because of the integrity that is on his life. I really want to challenge you guys. Go take a look at everything that he's doing online, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. But he's a super interesting guy because you'll see a lot on the supernatural and he also speaks to dreams. You're a pastor of Hungry Gen Church. Thank you for being here with me today, Vlad. Thank you, Heather, for having me. And it's a joy to be at your guys' conference, presence-driven conference with our team. And just everything that you guys carry is just a great blessing. You are also not from the United States. You are from Ukraine originally, correct? Yes. So my family immigrated when I was actually 13, 1999, from Ukraine. And at 16, I became a pastor. But my introduction to the supernatural and hunger for the supernatural really came from my pastor, who is still my pastor. He's my uncle. He started the church. And when I was only 14 years of age, he would, see, he grew up during the former Soviet Union

where the church didn't grow during the time unless there was supernatural. It was around the presence of God. It was around the power of God. And he was a driver and he was like a young leader for this man of God that God was using in a very supernatural ways. I mean, I'm talking about he would cross countries without a map, just hearing from God to take this train without any money, get off on this station, avoid the KGB, which was the Soviet Union police, go to the house on the right, then go to the house on the left, then go on the back of the house, knock on the door, and he would walk into the house. There would be believers gathered there. He would pray for them, leave at two in the morning. The Lord would tell him to stand on the road and somebody will pick you up. That somebody, God told them from another country, come to this road, wait for this guy and he'll pick him up. So my pastor was a young leader that was being mentored by him. So his Christian upbringing was really about the supernatural and about things of the Holy Spirit. So we come to the United States. I'm 13 and a half years of age. I'm learning English. I don't speak any English. I struggle with heavy insecurities because I had an optical nerve damage during my birth. I was born around Chernobyl and during Chernobyl, the nuclear explosion. And so I don't know how much of that had to do with what happened to my eyes, but I had a very difficult, a braining first two years. I spent in a hospital. Actually, I died one time. My uncle, who is my pastor now, through prayer and resuscitation, he was speaking in tongues and resuscitating me. So the enemy wanted to take me out from the beginning.

You're a miracle. Yeah. And so, and then at 13, I'm here in the United States. My uncle is starting a church. He's sitting us down, me and his son, who's here at this conference, who's my best friend. And he's like, I'm planting this church, but you guys will pass through the church. Now we're 13. Bicycles and girls are the only thing on our agenda right now. And learning English, how to pronounce, you know, cause we had this very thick Russian open zetrain, you know, like, so we had to learn English. And my biggest fear, we're 13, is that you will leave church and pass through church without the Holy Spirit's presence and power. So at 13, so what he would do is he would take us to the Ben Hinn crusades. At the time, there was like big, big crusades. He would take us to Bob Larson seminars. I mean, that's a very big contrast when you go from Ben Hinn to Bob Larson. He would take us anything that's supernatural. And he would tell us, by the way, I'm not sure I agree with some of these expressions, but there's stuff in the Bible and we're seeing this. I remember I was 14 years of age sitting at a Bob Larson seminar and scared to death. I'm like, Oh my God, this guy's walking with the crucifix. I'm going to manifest. Eventually I went through my own deliverance. Little did I knew is that I had something in me that that's why I was scared. It wasn't just because of the theatrics maybe of it. And so, and that's really where it came. That appetite was put into me by him and he exposed me at a young age and purpose. He would send me to conferences when I was 16. At the time, I think it was a Lakeland revival with Todd Bentley. And he was like, I don't like this.

I don't like that. But he's like, God is moving there. Get a ticket for seven days. Go in there. So that's really, I am, I am indebted to him for that. So you were raised in the supernatural. Do you believe the church should be stewarding and obsessed with the supernatural? I think that the church should be obsessed with the Holy Spirit. There you go. Because in the beginning, I think what I started to develop an appetite for was for the miraculous. And when I experienced good 12 years of youth ministry of absolutely no growth, I could count on one hand how many people got healed, but I can count on the other hand how many people died that I prayed for. So I had as much experience. So when people would come up and pray for healing, I said, I have as much experience in both. I'm like, do you really want me to pray for you? I think just keep your headache. I'm like, you don't need to die from this. And so I was deeply disappointed, but I was hungry for the miraculous. I was hungry for the supernatural. And the Holy Spirit at one time convicted me. And he said, you're like that lame man sitting at the gate called beautiful. He was asking for money, but what he needed was to walk. So he was asking for the wrong things. And so what I was asking for is for the supernatural to come to our church. What I needed really from God is to walk in the Holy Spirit. So I go to this minister, fly out of the country. He has a tremendous revival. And I ask him for impartation for church growth and the miraculous.

It was crazy miracles happening there. And he says, I'm not going to pray for you for that. He says, I'm going to pray that you meet the Holy Spirit. I'm like, I'm going to assemble as a God, tongue speaking. I know who the Holy Spirit is. I did a series on the Holy Spirit. I read the Good Morning Holy Spirit. I read a lot about Holy Spirit. So I'm offended because I'm also sowing a very large seed the Lord put on my heart. And I'm like, don't tell me what I know. And so he prays for me. It's a minute, 24, a minute, 24 second prayer. And after that, I come back. This was about 10 years ago. And my whole prayer is Holy Spirit. I want to know you become real to me. I know I speak in tongues, but I want to know. And I felt like, you know, we get the Holy Spirit at salvation. It's kind of like legs. When you're born, you're born with legs. You don't walk with them yet. Like I have a baby right now. He just turned 11 months. He has legs. He was born with his legs. They don't carry him. He drags them. And that's who I was. I walked in the flesh, even though I had the Holy Spirit. It's like legs.

I didn't walk in the Holy Spirit. I didn't know his presence. I didn't know his... Yes, I experienced the presence of God, but I didn't lean on him. And so Holy Spirit became real to me. And without pursuing the supernatural now, miracles started to happen. So this small youth group started to... The words of knowledge came. I'm praying and I'm seeing images. And I was like, oh, that's how these guys who move in the words of knowledge, because nobody taught me how to do that. And then deliverances started to happen where I would do a call to salvation. And so one of the kids got saved and just touched it. And I was like, oh my God, this stuff is real. And so there was no crucifix. And I was like, but this is real. And then one kid would record it, put it on their Snapchat. So it went viral in the high school. And then next week, 30 kids came to see more of exorcism. I was like, no, we don't do this stuff. I don't even know what's happening. And then more stuff would happen. And then starting that service, there has not been one service where somebody didn't get saved and deliverance became normal, healings became normal. And so I always tell people who aspire to see the supernatural. I said, all the miracles, all the power is hidden in one person. His name is the Holy Spirit. And so we don't seek his power. We seek him as a person.

And in him is power. But we also have to be opened because you can have a traditional cessationist teaching. Love the Holy Spirit. Welcome the Holy Spirit. But right away, give him an order. Hey, you can't do this. You can't do this. I don't believe in this. I don't want this. These are the only ways that he works right here in my body. And I'm afraid of the abuse. And I think a lot of people also have such a big fear of the false that their hunger for the real is quenched by the fear of the counterfeit, by the fear of, well, this might not be the Holy Spirit. This person is faking it. Well, this is just too dramatic. And so the fear of the fake has really taken over a lot of charismatic people where they became, I call it, they are not practicing continuationists. They just simply believe it. They no longer practice it. They don't speak in tongues. They don't see visions. They don't see dreams. They don't see deliverance. Only, of course, on the mission trips, but not in the church. Dreams are powerful when they are from the Lord and church. We listen and we obey or we steward those dreams. Dreams are distinct from other ways that God speaks because what? We are sleeping.

In fact, it is the easiest way to hear God. God's voice because when He speaks to us during the day, we have so many things happening in our world that we have to be disciplined to set ourselves apart and to silence the noise to be able to hear what God is speaking. Ah, but when we're sleeping, the noise is off. The busyness, the chaos, everything else coming for attention is off. This is why it is a distinct way and an easy way church to hear God's voice is hearing Him through our dreams. Available now at youtube.com slash mercy culture. You just said a pivotal word and it was counterfeit and you were just talking about knowing God and I think a lot of Christians are what you just said is they know about God. They know their word. I've been saved for 30 years. I know it all but they don't know Him and when we don't know Him, we're not obsessed with about who He is and so what begins to take place is God, I just want you to bless everything that's in my heart, what I think is right and I really think that we have come to this place in the body of Christ as spiritual leaders and as Christians where not only do we not, we don't know Him but we don't know His voice and we've stopped seeking what is God saying,

what is He saying over my marriage, what is He saying over my children, what is He saying over my business, what is He saying over my finances and if we're not seeking God and His voice then it means I'm operating in my ways and all of the sudden counterfeit voices become very easy to listen to to lead me and witchcraft voices, the spirit of Jezebel, these other type of voices that are so competitive with God's voice. We see it in Genesis, in the very beginning with Adam and Eve and the snake that comes in, it is coming to compete with God's voice to get them to disobey what God said and it's so easy when we don't steward the words of the Lord to accept counterfeit voices to begin to speak into our lives and I feel like this is just a really important warning, I was gonna talk about it later in the podcast but you say counterfeit, we're just going in, we're just gonna dive in and I want you to just speak to people that are listening right now about the power of seeking God's voice and what you were just talking about this counterfeit, it's interesting the amount of people that are in church and you come into their presence and you don't feel God's presence. You're like this is competition,

this is jealousy, this is the characteristics of a counterfeit voice or a spirit of Jezebel, this is not the characteristics of God because we've allowed these influences or we've listened to voices instead of seeking God's voice. Do you see this as an issue in the body of Christ? 100%, you know, Jesus rebuked Peter, he told him, he said, get behind me Satan for you are not mindful of the things of God but of the things of men. Satanic, demonic things, they're not always witchcraft. Sometimes it's human. You're mindful of the things of men, meaning Satan brings his kingdom to the level of humanity, that human full of self, whatever we're filled with is what we're gonna hear, is what we're gonna be led by. The Bible says Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit and the next verse you see he was led by the Holy Spirit and so one of the reasons that I think we as pastors, leaders and as Christians don't hear is because we are filled here with ambition, we are filled here with our own desires, with our own passions and something that I've really even picked up at the conference here, Yogais' Leadership and Pastors Conference is this phrase and it's not a phrase that's been taught, it's a cry of the heart, what is pleasing to you Lord? And I remember when my personal ministry started to take off after COVID and I started to look at some friends

who transitioned out of a church to focus on being a tenor, a pastor, an author and everything and at the time things at church were pretty, let's just say that I didn't like it. I didn't like being in the staff meetings, I was like, man, everybody's driving me crazy, I feel more celebrated when I travel, people seem to love me outside of the church and prophet has no honor in his own house so I went to be on the mountain for three days to kind of separate myself from the Lord and I said, Lord, you know, and my question was. is, how can I best use my gifts to reach my calling and my potential? The Miles Monroe quote came to me, die empty. You know, like you just want to, you know, give myself. Like Derek Prince didn't pastor a church. He changed the world. I'm called to be like Derek Prince. Billy Graham changed the world. I think I'm called to just travel. And so after I finished with all of my little dreams and goals, I felt like the Holy Spirit asked me, He said, you're asking me the wrong question. And He brought me to Colossians where it says that to walk worthy of His calling, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God. And He said, if you have a goal, and that is to optimize your gift that I gave you, He said, you will never know. You will never know if you're successful in my eyes, because success in my eyes looks like this, being pleasing fully.

And right now you're looking at your friends. You're looking at other people. You're not even hearing my voice. All you're seeing is you're not catching up with other people. And you're no longer being led by me. You're being driven by ambition. And so all of that ugliness came in and He's like, and I felt the Holy Spirit's like, I called you to be a pastor at 16. I never changed my calling. He said, the fact that I blessed these other things, you should come to me and ask me, am I doing any of these things? Are they pleasing to you? Instead of jumping at every single opportunity. And man, that just wrecked me. And so I changed my approach. My definition of success is not to reach the world. Up to that point, I wanted to reach everyone. I just want to use my time to reach as many people as possible. My definition of success is to be pleasing to God. Until I am pleasing to God, I am not going to be near God now. Because if I am seeking to please Him, I have to be constantly near Him to see, am I pleasing to Him right now? Or am I not pleasing to Him? If my goal is to be successful, all I have to do is look at my numbers. If my numbers are good, I'm good. Even if I'm struggling privately, even if my family's not doing good, even if I have anxiety, well, my numbers are good. So God must be pleased with me. So even being at this conference, hearing that underlying theme, is this pleasing to Him?

To me, I'm like, man, this is exactly what God's been dealing with me. It transforms everything in our life. Every goal, every mission, every purpose. I mean, it destroys the purpose-driven life because even the purpose-driven type centeredness is all about me and my purpose. Instead of God, all of that can die. If you created me just to be a worshiper of you, and nobody ever knows my name, but that's what's pleasing to you, man. And we just live in a culture where people are driven and they're not led anymore. And you know, the Bible, anytime you see the word driven in the Bible, it's a wind drives waves, wind drives ships, demons being driven out. We don't see God driving His people. We see Him leading them in the wilderness. He leads me besides the still waters. He led Him. Now there is a reference, I think, in Luke where the spirit drove Jesus. But in the context, Jesus leads us and to be led by Him, well, you do have to have a redefining of success. And I think every one of us, we have to come back to the place. Success is to please Him. Then I'm going to be near Him to hear Him. Seeking His presence pleases Him because knowing Him intimately is ultimately what pleases Him. Part of seeking God is seeking God's voice. One of the ways that God speaks is through dreams. And I know God speaks through dreams. I want people, God's people to desire. You said in a second ago that people become so just, no, God can work in this way. He can move in this way, but not these ways.

And as I was taking a look at my life, man, God hasn't spoken to me in a few months. And I'm developing this sermon. I'm like, are God's people seeking His voice in all forms? Or does God only speak in a certain form? And today I want to get into this conversation to develop this hunger in people that any form that God wants to speak, whether it's through thunder, whether it is through miracle signs and wonders, whether it's through a personal shaking, whether it's through a whisper, whether it's through a war, whether a roar, whether it's through a dream or a vision, God, I want to encounter you. I want to, one of the greatest gifts we have that was accomplished on the cross when that veil was torn is that we have access to the creator of the heavens and the earth. Through, we call it prayer. And some people think it's like this religious duty. but we get to talk and commune with God. And then not only do we get to talk and commune with Him, but the God of the heavens and the earth, the creator of it all, Alpha and Omega, He wants to speak to us. What an honor. And so I want people to begin to hunger again to hear from God. Why should people be hungry and expectant and asking God to speak to them through dreams? Hmm. I think you've outlined really well. So I'm going to have a vulnerable moment here. I think you need to be the one to pray for us to hear from God through dreams.

And I need to be the one to ask you to pray for me to hear God more through dreams. Because I have dreams that God speaks not as frequently as I need to say. Even in coming to this podcast, you know, I want to ask you to pray that God will release that. Because I do believe that even what Landon mentioned about the impartation that came on your life, on Landon's life, desire to hear from God. So my kind of stance, and correct me if I'm wrong, my stance is to be near God so I can hear God. And the way He speaks to me is a lot of times in my, the language that you guys use in a real life, daily encounters, I call them my daily devils. And today I went to a cemetery, not seminary, cemetery, sometimes they're both the same. But where we're staying, a lot of dead people buried. But it was during the day, so there's no ghost there. And during the day, the Holy Spirit is there. And the Holy Spirit just started to deal with my heart. It was so powerful. And the crazy part is the very verses that your pastor this morning, literally takes exactly the same verses and just drives the nail home. And so it was a very, very powerful encounter. I don't hear from the Lord as much from dreams. I do have a grace to, and I experienced that, and we'll address that in just a moment, on praying for people who get attacked in their dreams.

Ah, the deliverance. Yeah, the deliverance and a lot of crazy stuff there. And there's a testimony of how that happened. But before we go into that, I think you need to answer that question. Okay. And you need to pray for us, including myself. Okay, I love it, I would love to. The reason why I love God speaking to me through dreams is because your entire being is at rest. And in the day, there are so many concerns, there are so many things happening. You have your kids to take care of and ministry and all the responsibilities. And sometimes it just takes the Lord to be like, the third time, the fourth, I'm speaking to you right now. And you have to be so disciplined to turn everything off to hear that sweet whisper. When you're sleeping, everything is turned off. Yeah. Everything, there's no distractions. And then how cool, as I am sleeping, that the God of the universe, this actually happens with, oh my gosh, the wisest man, King Solomon. Do you know that when God says, ask whatever you want from me, God is speaking to him in a dream. Yeah, yeah.

The most pivotal moment of his life, the most pivotal question God asked a man in his life is in his sleep, in his dream. And Solomon's spirit is awakened enough, knows God is intimate enough to answer with his spirit man, not his flesh, his spirit man in this dream and respond to God, knowing what's on his plate to lead and says, God, give me wisdom and discernment. And I feel like this is so key for those that operate in dreams and dream interpretation. Because again, we have totally mystified. We've mystified dreams and dreams interpretation that people just throw it out. And it's like, oh, that's over spiritual for me. And then I can't figure it out when there's not this gift that God said, hey, I'm gonna give you the gift of dream interpretation. Daniel, different individuals that operated it in Joseph, they said, thank you God for the wisdom you have given me or men that saw it said, these men operate in great wisdom. They operated in a gift of the spirit and that wisdom and knowledge is what allowed them to understand the dream. So this is so cool because as I'm sleeping and at peace, God speaks to me and gives me a vision and I get to wake up and commune with him to begin to ask him, so what dreams actually draw me into a more intimate place of knowing God, what you were talking about earlier. Because I can't just go to anybody.

Yeah, but a lot of times those dreams you wake up and that's what I've heard that there are three types. the ones where God actually speaks to you in the dream. And the second one is where you have the symbolic dream, but you wake up, you clearly know exactly. It's either a warning or a message. And you know, many times it's just like, you wake up, you don't need to even ask. You just clearly have that interpretation. And then there is those mysterious symbolic that you need to lean on. For sure, and ask God. Inquire of the Lord, like someone preached this morning. To inquire of the Lord. And so I think that that is probably one of the biggest questions that I've had is people trying to distinguish between what is a God dream, what's a soul dream, and what's a demonic dream. And I just want to give an example. Any dreams that you have at any time that you want to share also, because I feel like it gives people tangible examples of what we're talking about. And so I have this dream that I think is from God. And I have this dream that I go to walk up on the platform on a Sunday morning, and I go up there, grab the microphone,

and I have nothing to say. And I realize I did not prepare. I have no sermon. I did not pray into it. And I have nothing to say. And I'm overwhelmed with grief. How in the world, Heather, I've thought, could you step on this platform and not be prepared to bring the words of the Lord to the people? And I walk off the platform with shame, embarrassed that I would do that. And I wake up in this panic, and it is, oh my gosh, thank you, God, for this warning dream. That's how I take it. God is warning me I better prepare. Over the next year, the amount of stress that I began to operate in over every Sunday message, over every sermon, I better fully prepare. I need to know all the revelation. I need to know the Greek. I need to know the Hebrew. It was ridiculous to the point that finally I realize, because I keep thinking of this dream, I feel persecuted. God is not going to persecute me. I go on a Sabbath. I go on a run. I say, God, finally, it takes me a year to ask God.

Shame on me for that. I should've asked him right away. God, is this from you or not? Learn from my mistakes. And I ask God, was this dream from you? And I just feel the peace of God. He doesn't speak to me. I go to lay down that night, my head on the pillow. The second I lay my head on the pillow, then I go to rest. God says that dream wasn't from me. It was a stress dream. At that moment, now I realize it's a stress dream and I begin to look internally. What are my weaknesses? Oh, I'm a perfectionist. These are the things that are now being exposed of my soul that I need deliverance from. And I just let a dream that was not from the Lord persecute me for the last year that almost got me to the place of telling my husband, take me off the preaching schedule because I can't take the stress that I was under from a dream that was not from the Lord. And so this is what I want to talk about. As obviously people need to ask for this gift of wisdom and the gift of distinguishing between spirits so that we can recognize. Like what you said, there's some God dreams that we have that we're shook and we know this is from God.

He gave the revelation with it. They're easy, we understand to write that down and to steward it. And then some are not so easy to be able to tell the difference. What are ways that you know are differences between what God's voice would sound like in a dream or what the enemy's voice would sound like in a dream? So I think what you just highlighted also is very powerful is the state of our soul, the activity in our life. Sometimes in our dreams, we see, they're pretty much almost like a magnifying glass of something that's happening. For example, a person is stressed out and that could be reflected in their dreams or they're afraid, they could be reflected in their dreams. And then so the state that I go into, my emotional state right now is a huge reflection. If some of those dreams are very, the soulless dreams or just the human origin dreams, they come mainly through much activity. They're very sporadic, they're not connected and they're usually not repeated. And you wake up and you can feel fatigue. Demonic dreams, I compared it to what happened with Samson fell asleep on the lap of Delilah. You wake up with a haircut. You wake up and you have no strength. You wake up and you're blind. You wake up and you're bound.

You wake up and you're restricted. You wake up and it's not only the content of the dream, which demonic ones are usually you're being chased. You see a dead person that died. They keep showing up to you and they're asking you to join them, which means for you to die. Sexual dreams are very common. Somebody choking you, you can't speak, like something just takes you out. And if it happened once, it could be just a demonic attack. But when that becomes repeated, the content of a dream... is a big test. The state that I go into, so for example, if I watch a Netflix TV series, that means I'm going to sleep on the lap of Delilah. I am gonna get a haircut. And this haircut will cause me to wake up with something like, man, my strength is gone, my motivation is gone. But if I go to sleep on the rock of ages, like Jacob, the Bible says that he slept, he put a rock, he slept on the rock and he wakes up and sees the ladder of heaven, angels ascending and descending. So my emotional state and my spiritual state with which I go to sleep is a huge question for me. I have to examine myself. First of all, what is my emotional and spiritual state?

And the second is, what is the content of this dream? Am I being chased, killed, abused, or shot? Or I'm eating with dead ancestors? And number three is when I wake up, do I feel like Samson? What happened to my hair? What's going on to, what's gonna, I feel like somebody just sucked life out of me. And then the remaining of the day is gone. And so if I have yeses to all these three questions, that it's pretty obvious that this is probably demonic. When I married my wife, within about first month, she started to have night terrors. Now they were, I'm a heavy sleeper. I can sleep through anything. I think actually I have a gift from God. I think he's a dad of 19 for sure. So I can sleep. People ask me what gifts I have to sleep. So I can fall asleep fast. I can drink caffeine and go to sleep five minutes later. I actually can do that too. Yeah, so I have a gift from God to sleep. So my wife, I wake up, my wife is screaming in her dreams. So of course, you know, I wake her up because she's still in her dream. I wake her up, she's crying, she's in pain. I pray for her. This continued for a year. Wow.

Every other night. Wow. So when it comes to nightmares, I have a personal connection to what that looks like. Because I had a person sitting next to me and there was a spirit of rejection and loneliness going through the mother's side. And it was operating in that family, almost like light dormant because of the change of circumstances. She came from a different city when she moved. It was very difficult for her to be integrated into our church. She felt rejected. She felt alone. She didn't know anybody. Just a lot of stuff. So I was treating all of it psychological. It's just a change of scenery. And then when I couldn't solve that, then I blamed the demons. And then I just blamed her. And I was like, man, you just need to pray harder. You need to fast harder. And a year into it, we went through deliverance. We broke it. We fasted. It continued. So why I knew it was demonic,

she knew it was demonic. It paralyzed her. So she was completely paralyzed spiritually. She would come to church. She wouldn't be able to lift her hands. She wouldn't be able to open her mouth. I mean, our church was very small. So I told her, I'm like, just fake it. And I was like, come on, don't show them that. I'm like, plus you're a pastor's daughter. I was like, you know how this stuff is done. We compartmentalize some stuff. You come in, just praise God because his mercies are new. It doesn't matter how you feel. Tell your soul to get on with it. And my wife, she's not a faker. She doesn't do that kind of stuff. She's like, I am absolutely not gonna fake it. She couldn't work well. She tried to go to school. Things were not going well. It got so bad, Heather. I was actually entertaining if I made a mistake. And so, and it was a biggest assault on me personally, because we were just discovering ministry of deliverance. So I'm like, here, I have a case, I have a project. This is not happening. So we actually went to somebody else for prayer. He prayed for her. No, she didn't feel anything different.

He just said prophetically, you're free. I was like, well, praise God. She's like, that's it, I feel like I'm free. We go back, nothing changed. And so at the time she worked the post office. So she would turn on teachings on the Holy Spirit, five, four hours a day. And within about a month, the content of a dream changed. Instead of her being chased, she was chasing. And she woke up, even if there was sometimes there was an attack, she woke up like a warrior, instead of woke up like a victim. I saw a change in my wife. The woman that I have today is not the woman I married. Her dad, who was a pastor in Moscow, he said, that's not my daughter. And she doesn't even try to pray for deliverance, but deliverance has happened everywhere. She's a tiny little girl. And she just goes in. Sometimes we go in and the restaurant starts praying and demons start manifesting. So the authority, she walks in, she eventually, all of this stuff got completely broken through. So in her, I know that the Lord was also preparing her for the ministry that He had for her. And then there was a mental stronghold that needed to be broken down. Which why I said the importance of the state of the mind and the heart that you're going in to sleep with. If you're sleeping in the lap of Delilah, well, you're going to get a haircut. So you got to go sleep on the Rock of Ages. You got to put the Word of God inside.

The content of the dream is also very huge. If you're being sexually abused in the dream all the time, that's not Holy Spirit. There is no deep revelation. That's demonic. Yeah. Because a lot of times women wake up and they have a spirit spouse. They have somebody else they have sex with and they have no affection for their husband. And so they would come up for a prayer and they're like, I don't have any affection for my husband. We started to pray. And the demon says, she's mine. And I married her. She is mine. And so sometimes I would do this to a demon. I went to interrogate him. And I said, so who is this guy? He says, I don't know him. I hate him. That is not her husband. I am her husband. And you asked her that woman, every time she goes to sleep, she has sex with a guy. A husband testifies. He sees his wife's body experiencing sexual orgasm. Wow. He tries to wake her up in her sleep. And she's actually having sexual dreams. In her dreams, she has children, but she can't have children in real life. When the demon is cast out, affection returns and usually barren women can have children. Actually in Isaiah, there's a scripture in Isaiah that says this. In Isaiah chapter 34 verse 14, it says the wild beasts of the desert shall also meet

with the jackals and the wild goat shall bleed to its companion. Also the night creature, the original word there is Lilith. The night creature shall rest there and find for herself a play of rest. You know, in Matthew 13, Jesus says, while they slept, the enemy sowed. And I wonder, even though that's a parable, but the enemy sees that God uses dreams as a venue. I mean, how many Muslim people come to Christ because Jesus shows up in their dream? I mean, Babylonian kings, the Pharaohs, God shows up in dreams. He reveals his plans to humanity. He warned Joseph. And I mean, there's just so many things. So the enemy, a lot of times, because either an involvement with witchcraft, people have had that, or people live their life in such a, they expose themselves to the enemy by what they consume during the day, which leaves them vulnerable in their sleep. Because what we consume, again, it's that lap of Delilah component. If we consume ungodly and appropriate things, we are vulnerable to a demonic attack. And so he wants to come in and his goal is not just to torment. His goal is to plant seeds that when you wake up, you absolutely have no energy. You're absolutely confused. You're tormented. You have no affection for your spouse. You have no desire for God. And so those are demonic and they need to be confronted and those demons need to be rebuked. But also we need to repent if we have intentionally allowed our gates to be opened. If we have, David says, I will not set anything wicked in front of my eyes. The Bible says, faith comes from hearing. I wonder what else comes from hearing. Fear comes from hearing. You listen to enough of godless news, you will be afraid.

I mean, what happened during pastors during COVID, they listened to the news instead of getting into the secret place. Fear came in. I remember during COVID praying for one young adult in her house with a mask on and nobody else was in her house. I was like, so is your mom in your house? So I'm trying to understand the situation. Nobody is in her house except her. She's with the mask on in her house. So I start praying and I said, can I pray for you? She said, yes. She's like, I'm afraid. I said, number one, turn off CNN. Number two, let's pray. We start praying. She starts screaming in the phone. The demon starts manifesting. And so she pukes. I'm like, well, remove your mask because I'm like, you're going to choke in your mask. And so she removes the mask, comes next Sunday to church and she says completely just that thing is broken off. Let's go. And so I hear two powerful ways that you're speaking right now to people that may be having nightmares or demonic dreams. And some are those that we open the doors to and repentance and turning back to God is that form and way of deliverance or some of us will be persecuted because of the authority and call of God that he's placing on our lives like your wife. And in the midst of it, we have no idea, no understanding of what's happening. But in the same way that your wife went through that, others go through it in life, in other forms, in other forms of suffering, where God produces through this pressing and oil

of an anointing. that he's going to pour out. So I just wanted to, you know, point those two things out for people that are listening with nightmares. Is God producing something in you? Is he pressing in you? And even in that, you said it was the washing, was it with the washing of the word? The washing with the word, breaking down the strongholds, yeah. And breaking down those strongholds, which is so neat. A couple in our church that was battling cancer, he was battling cancer. And that's what the Lord told him to do is every single night he put headphones on and just had the word of God play over and over. The Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. You know, in the same reference, it says whom the son sets free. There's a freedom that comes from the anointing. Holy Spirit touches us. We have a God encounter. But I told people that if you closed the doors, you repented, you confessed it, you broke it, you renounced it, you stood your ground and it's still happening. That means you need to shift to gear two. You shall know the truth. That means you need to fill your mind with truth intentionally, aggressively as a spiritual warfare, because now you're not just dealing with necessarily entities as much as you're dealing with strongholds. You're dealing with the house of thoughts that needs to be broken down like a house. You don't destroy a house the same way you kick an occupant out. To get an occupant out, you just come in, you put handcuffs on them, you lead them out. But to break the house down, well, that's going to take some time. At the end, just for people listening, I want to talk about something else. I want you to pray for people for deliverance from these nightmares, and then I'll pray for the impartation of dreams. But there's this other area of discernment in dreams, and it's discerning between a God dream and demonic dream when God gives us intense warning dreams. And I think because I've had dreams so long with the Lord that I can recognize, so I want to talk about one of the dreams that I've had to help. But I dream about witches and witchcraft all the time, and I know that they're from God, because He's giving strategy, or He's bringing warnings of what's coming and how to prepare or to have authority over. I think that word is strategy. He's giving strategy and wisdom. But some people have dreams, like I dream about witches all the time. But you don't wake up with a haircut. Yeah, no. You wake up with a strategy. Yeah, and like, let's go. And that's the difference

is knowing, is God giving me strategy and how to overcome, or am I provoked and persecuted with fear? And if we are already a fearful person, we can react to a God dream or a warning dream with fear and not steward it as a God dream. So let me give you an example. I have this dream that I called the holiness dream. That was like the title of it. And in this dream, I am invited by a young person from our church to go to his birthday celebration. Actually, I'm invited by other people that are going, and then he realizes I'm coming, and he's like, wait, pastor, you're coming? And I can tell he's really timid about me coming. I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna come and celebrate you. And so we're getting on this elevator, and we go up to this restaurant type place at the top of this building in this big city. And I get up there, and it's supposed to be, it's like this club atmosphere, but it is the altar of Baal. I mean, I get up there, and the tables, instead of tables, I'm being drawn on this. It's almost like this moving walkway. And as I'm going by these tables, there are different orgies at each table. And I wanna point this out. I did not see body parts. And so even when God gives an intense dream, it's not perverse, even though there's hard, weighty things. And so in this dream, these orgies are happening at each table with these signs of these different gods or different positions in their worship. And I'm overwhelmed. And as I'm going through each table, I feel like I'm going to vomit. And the nausea is getting thicker and thicker to the point I'm trying to seek, where's the door? How do I get out of here? I go, I get on this elevator. And as the elevator shuts, two people that work there just begin to say the most perverse language to me, trying to ask me about what pleasures do I like, what pleases me. And now I can hardly hold back the sickness and nausea that I have where I'm like groping for the door, like get the doors open. I have to get off of this elevator. I get to the bottom, the elevator opens, and I see all of these expensive cars. And out from one of the expensive cars comes this family from church that I recognize, and they're with their children. I'm like, what are you doing here? Because I'm just, I'm so distraught from what I just saw. And they're going in the elevator to go up. I said, no, no, no, no, you can't come here. And they said, no, it's okay. It's okay. We're just coming here to let our hair down. And one of their parts is when I was up there, a woman that has been at the church for a long I mean, I don't think it has anything to do with her personally, but she was up in the restaurant and she had said the same thing, I'm just here to have a good time. And I told the church this dream because the people that I saw in this wicked place were

supposed to be people of God that were entering this place of worship to Baal. And I mean, this dream shook me for weeks in praying into it, God, how do I prepare your bride? How do I make them ready for your return? But clearly they are not ready because these families that seem trusted, that have been in your house for years and years, your children and our children's ministry are entering a place like this. And I think a lot of people, if they come out of a dream like this or something similar, it's just intense. They think, and they will write it off as demonic instead of saying, God, what are you trying to expose in me? What are you trying to expose? Or what are you trying to warn me about? And we are dreams ultimately, whether it's a demonic dream, whether it's a God dream, whether it's a soul dream, the same thing applies to any type. They should all bring us back to God immediately. The conversations that we are having with him, what is the meaning of this? Seeking out the wisdom to understand the interpretation, God, why are you speaking this? Why did you allow me? And if this is a demonic dream, then God, why is this door open up in my life? Show me what door is open so that this door can be closed. Or if you gave me this intense warning dream, God, what do you want me to do with it? What are you calling me in intercession to begin to pray for the body of Christ, to begin to pray for the next generation? But that there is a response. God is not just giving us dreams to give us a dream, oh, I got a dream from God. He's giving us a dream because he is speaking to us and now he's requesting a response from us. And so it's so important, and I opened this up in the beginning for those of you that are listening, is to steward dreams, steward them.

Don't write them off as a pizza dream. And sometimes dreams from God, they have wild pieces in it of like, what does this mean? And what is this symbolism? And what is this color? And what was this vehicle? You know? I want to tell you great resources is to go to John Paul Jackson's books, his teaching. I don't know if you have any resources for people for dream interpretations. What would you say are good resources? I have a few YouTube videos, but John Paul Jackson is great. Just go there. Just go. I would just be very careful, though, to go to Google, because a lot of people get up and there is dream interpretation, they're just straight up New Age, straight up New Age or asking chat GPT. It's like, you know, when you wake up and you don't know what that is, you know, write it down and just go to the Lord and don't rush, you know, right away if God will give you that. You know, many times in my case, especially the warning dreams, which you just alluded is so powerful. And I think when people, I guess I have heard so many testimonies of the demonic that when I hear the warning or the intense, like they are not the same. It's like water and alcohol. They may look the same. They're totally different because you wake up with the warning. Number one, you're not contaminated. You feel stirred. You feel outraged. Honestly, there is this energy that comes from that.

With demonic dreams or attacks, there is a lot of times people wake up contaminated. They have wet dreams. They wake up in these perversive thoughts. They just linger and they just almost like they're like super glued to them. And then their mood is all over the place. They have absolutely no energy to fight. It's like they lose that energy. And that's when you know, like, OK, I'm either in spiritual warfare. And so in that moment, you have to go to God and say, OK, usually without even praying a lot, when you wake up and you got a demonic dream and if there was an open door, the Holy Spirit is right there to pretty much highlight, hey, you watched that thing and you heard me say not to watch it. You know, from that, you clicked on that, then you clicked on that, then you clicked on that. You went with that kind of attitude to sleep. And so, yeah, that's exactly what's going to happen. You keep the door open, flies will get in because flies don't read signs. They read open doors. And so you leave a door open. It doesn't matter how fast you speak in tongues and who owns the house, they're just going to get in and they're going to try to harass. And so I think when we deal with those open doors and we close them or people, for example, live in sexual sin and then they get these sexual dreams and they're like, well, I don't know where that's happening. You're sleeping with your boyfriend. Really? What else do you think that is coming from? You're looking at pornography. Yeah, or you're looking at pornography. What I hear you saying, and what the Word of God says, we're vessels. We are vessels. And so many times people do not view themselves as a vessel that we can allow pollution to come in that's going to produce. And the more pollution we put in,

God is not going to compete. Ultimately, we're supposed to be His temples and His vessels, but He's not going to compete with us. If we want to keep putting pollution in, He's going to say, Matt, I'm going to wait for you to cry out for deliverance. I'm going to wait for you to cry out for the refiner's fire. And then when you're ready to repent and to turn from these things, when you're ready for the purification, I'll come and I'll purify. Because that's what He desires. He desires pure vessels. He's like, okay, now I have a vessel that I can pour in through. So for those of you that are like, okay, I want the God dreams. This is a beautiful moment of what He is talking about right now. Is there repentance that you need to, in your daily encounter time with the Lord, kneel before Him and say, Lord, I repent for these things, that I have turned to these impure things, that I've looked, that I've watched at these impure things. And I want this vessel to be trustworthy for your glory, for your presence, for your voice to speak, for your dreams to be placed within me and produced in and through me. And so submitting yourself as a vessel to be cleansed and purified by the Lord. We're going to pray for you guys right now. I'm going to pray for this release of dreams. And I'm also going to pray for wisdom and discernment, these gifts that you would know how to interpret and hear from the Lord in these dreams. But I really, really feel so many of you that are listening right now that there's just been this torment and you kept hitting on these demonic dreams, that there's been torment in your life. Here's the other thing is a lot of people that have sexual dreams later is from sins prior, that they're not even currently in operation, but they never repented or went back. It was like brain went out. I want to forget it ever happened. I want to pretend it's there. And that shame is not the covering of God. That shame is still an open door for the enemy to operate. And so you have people that are being persecuted by nightmares because stuff from their past was never fully healed and brought into the presence of the Lord. And that's what I want you to pray for is these tormenting dreams could be sexual, could be demonic, could just be persecuting, but are coming over and over and over to persecute God's people. Would you pray for deliverance and freedom? So for those of you that are watching, just because somebody has one bad dream, does not mean that they are under demonic attack. Just because somebody has one dream from God, does not mean they're in the right standing with God. Pharaoh had a dream from God. The guy was a heathen. Nebuchadnezzar had a dream from God. The guy was a straight up idol worshiper. So just

because God visited some people in dreams, that was not a stamp of God's approval. Nor does it mean just because occasionally you come under some kind of an attack in your dream that you have a demon or something is wrong. But if things are repeated, if there's a torment that's attached to it within the dream and then you wake up from it and you're noticing you're spiritually fatigued, you're spiritually worn out, you can't focus, you don't have intimacy with the person that you love, a few things I wanted to mention and we're going to pray right now. One is that if you were involved in witchcraft, you need to repent and renounce. If you were involved sexually with somebody outside that was not your spouse, you need to repent and you need to renounce soul ties because condoms can protect you from sexual diseases, not from sexual demons. There is a transfer that happens. And so you just got to renounce those things because they could expose you and open the door later on where you come under attacks. If you were abused sexually, this is totally unfair. This is totally wrong. But the enemy doesn't play fair. He uses the abuse as an open door and as a portal to begin to torment the abusive victims later on, even sometimes within their dream. And so not only forgive, but get somebody, open up to somebody. Let somebody pray for you. Let somebody lead you through some inner healing so that you close the door because wounds infected, wounds neglected, they become infected, they attract disease, they attract a lot of other stuff. The fourth thing is that if you're in the place where you had absolutely no nightmares, you move to this apartment, the moment you moved in, you started to have unexplainable nightmares. Anoint that place. This is not some charismatic little thing. Demons prefer bodies but they'll settle for places. Sometimes they like to attach themselves to a place because sometimes, for example, I've heard quite few, we had to pray for people where people moved into a place, somebody committed suicide. Literally every child has a nightmare. Something shows up in the room and the child screams. And so we go in and we take authority because we walk in dominion. This is my place. I pay rent. I pay utilities. So whatever you are, whoever you are that stayed here, you got to pack your bags and go. And so you got to take that authority in that place. The other last thing is this. If you have objects you've picked up that are specifically designated, we're not talking about going in through every single thing checking, but for example, like skeletons, like

snakes, like scorpions, charms specifically, where people buy charms to help them to get married. Be lucky, they buy them at Indian reservations. I'm not against, no problem with Indians and any other tribes and everything, but the cultures, a lot of those cultures are soaked in. People, for example, a lot of people that I've prayed for who have nightmares, they have dreamcatchers. And I was like, have you ever thought about the possible that these dreamcatchers are like demon releasers? They're like, no, this just looked really nice and stuff. So don't be naive, don't be ignorant, throw this stuff just out. If you know that this stuff shouldn't be in your house, sanctify your place because everything about our life belongs to God. And now I want to come and pray for right there where you are sitting, right there. If you're driving, just pause for a moment, don't keep driving and repeating this prayer. But anywhere you are, just ask the Holy Spirit to come right now, right there where you are. Jesus, I thank you that your presence is real. I thank you that you still set the captives free. And Lord, I thank you that you came to release the oppressed, the hurting people out of their oppression. And right now, Lord, as your child, as your servant, the one that you've committed to us, you've given to us your authority, Lord. You've given to us the commission, Lord, to to trample upon snakes and scorpions and nothing by any means shall hurt us, Lord. We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ over every unclean spirit that is tormenting the minds and the hearts and the emotions and the mood and the livelihood of the people that are watching, listening, re-watching or re-listening later on. In Jesus' mighty name, I take authority over every spirit of fear, every demonically infused nightmare, every dead person shows up in their dreams regularly. I come against that right now in Jesus' mighty name. I come against any kind of incubus or succubus or any kind of thing, unclean entity that pretends to be a spouse. In Jesus' mighty name, I come against that right now. I rebuke that in Jesus' name. I rebuke every sexual, perverted, demonic, repeated, intrusive, draining, spiritually, emotionally dream right now. In Jesus' mighty name, leave right now. Lose your grip right now. Leave their mind in Jesus' mighty name. Leave their

children in Jesus' name. Leave right now the state of their emotions when they sleep in Jesus' name. We close those open doors. We apply the blood right now over their minds and their lives and their hearts and their eyes and their ears in Jesus' name. And every kind of assignment of the enemy, you have no place there. You have no legal right there right now. And we command you, go in Jesus' mighty name. Lose your grip. We break that stronghold. We break the power of that rejection with those dreams where you're constantly being rejected, constantly being isolated, constantly being neglected. We break that off right now in the name of Jesus. Break up that fear in Jesus' mighty name. Break up the perversion, the homosexual dreams in Jesus' mighty name. Break that off right now in Jesus' mighty name. Be free in Jesus' name. Receive the victory right now. Receive the liberty. Be released in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Amen. Now, I just pray for a release of God's dreams. Genesis 41, 38 says, Pharaoh asked them, can we find anyone like this man in whom the Spirit of God abides? Yes, Lord. Speaking of Joseph, so Lord, I thank you because you abided in Joseph. Your gifts of the Spirit, wisdom, and discernment abided in Joseph. Yes, Lord. I thank you because he loved your presence more than anything else, that he stayed faithful to you, your presence, your voice, your direction, through imprisonment, through pits. Father, he stayed faithful to you and you entrusted him with dreams from heaven. He stewarded the dreams. of man so you entrusted him with your dreams from heaven. God, I pray that you would begin to entrust us with the dreams of our brothers and sisters and then also the dreams of heaven. God, I pray that your people would come back to the place that they so desire to please you and nothing or nobody else. That they would hunger for your presence, hunger for your word, and hunger for your voice and direction more than anything else. Lord, I pray right now for those that are listening that you're going to begin to multiply the hunger for your voice in your people. That Lord, they would repent for the ways that they have begun to operate in without asking you or inquiring of the Lord. But Father, now Lord, I thank you that you meet us in repentance and in that place of humility. Father, I pray that your presence would come near and Lord,

I pray that you would begin to open up this nighttime sleep, Father, as time for you to commune with your people, time for you to give dreams and to speak what your visions are for this time and this moment of time that you want your people to birth. So Father, I pray that you would begin to impregnate people in their sleep with God-sized dreams. Father, that you would teach us how to steward your voice. That Father, we would not fear man or what we do not have, but with the dreams that you give us, we would trust you with the provision to fulfill the dreams. So Lord, I pray with the amount of faith you are giving for people to hear your voice in and through dreams that you're also giving them the faith to be able to fulfill and walk out the dreams. That Lord, we would respond in obedience to the dreams that you give us. And we just say even now, thank you. Thank you that you would commune with us. Thank you, God, that you would release dreams and visions now that you promise in Acts to your people. We ask for a release of Acts, what you say in Acts chapter two, Father, that you're going to give dreams and visions and prophecy to your sons and daughters. Lord, would you release it now? I pray even for a release of the gift of prophecy that people would be able to understand their dreams, that people would be able to give understanding to those that are in the world. I just had a picture, and I don't know just for those of you that are listening, but God just gave me a vision that there are going to be people in your family, friends of yours, people in your workplaces that are not believers of Christ. And God is going to give them dreams because they know you fear the Lord, just like a Daniel or a Joseph. They're going to come to you and say, man, I had this odd dream. And they're going to start talking about their dreams. And all of the sudden, wisdom and the gift of prophecy is going to be enacted on your life, empowered in your life to begin to bring clarification. And then I see you pointing them to Jesus. So Lord, I pray not just for your believers, but God, would you even release dreams, visions into those that are lost to awaken their spirit, man, those that are sleeping in the day hours that you would awaken them to know the true God.
