Not only is the feminist movement unbiblical, it's also deeply spiritual, it's demonic and it's evil. The spirit of Jezebel is leading this feminist movement. Yes. What's interesting is that all of these celebrities, they're all self-proclaimed feminists, they're all practicing the New Age, which is tied into feminist propaganda as well. They're after the next generation of women and the church needs to start speaking up. Otherwise, we are going to lose the next generation of women to Jezebel. I'm going to deny marriage, I'm going to deny motherhood, I'm going to deny men completely and deny God and this is living my best life. If you live in the 21st century Western world, you most likely have feminist frameworks, at least as the basis of your thinking. Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Holy Disruption. I'm your host Heather Schott and today we are talking feminism. Feminism has roots that go way back and many initiatives that came out of these movements that weren't all bad. Some were good, like a women's right to vote, a women's right to equal pay, but the spirit behind this movement has not been pure. In fact, today we are going to uncover a wicked spirit and agenda that has been operating through feminism, feminists, and what many women now cheer about today. Yay, women's rights! Women's rights, though, that we need to be aware of now translates my body, my choice, or I should have the right to murder my own baby, or men's masculinity is toxic, or marriage and motherhood is bondage and keeps me away from my purpose. Even worse, many feminists say Christianity is just an oppressive, toxic religion while male domination is at the forefront. See, modern feminism is rejecting men, marriage, motherhood, and Christianity. This is evil. It's wicked. So today we are bringing clarity about this movement so that Christian women, young and old, are not sucked into it. So fathers and mothers, you raise your daughters with awareness and knowledge

of what the world is trying to force feed our teens through Hollywood and social media. We have to raise our daughters according to His word, not the world. And so I have the perfect guest with me today. She's beautiful, the amazing Nolene Sedra. She's also the co-lead pastor of Echo Church in Sydney, Australia, alongside with her husband, Pastor Andrew Sedra. They're an incredible couple. They're leading a spirit-filled church that's revival-driven in Australia, preaching on deliverance and supernatural ministry. But one of my favorite things is she's a bold woman preacher and teacher with a prophetic edge to disrupt comfortable Christianity. And so she's also been a vocal opponent of modern secular feminism. She's challenging women to embrace their God-given identity with authority, but without abandoning biblical order. And so I would encourage you, go take a look at her reels, follow her on social media, because a lot of what is coming out of her and her husband's and family's ministry is so powerful, and I believe needed for right now for revival and reformation in the church worldwide. So today we're going back in history and we're going to go down like history lane, Nolene, and we're going to talk about where this feminism, feminist movement goes back. First of all, thank you for being with me today. Thank you for having me. It's such an honor. I know. Last time I got to do a podcast with your husband and he whispered to me, he's like, you've got to have her on, like you have to have her on feminism. And I went to watch your videos and I was so excited because it's a topic I've been wanting to talk about for a while. I love empowering mercy culture as a house that empowers so many women. We have strong women leaders in this house. But what's so beautiful is the men are so passionate about sending and discipling and raising up the women and the women are so excited to lead with their husbands

and other male leaders while raising up our children in the house of God. And it's done in this really, really pure way. But I also believe as God is raising up these women's voices, we're also seeing the enemy raising up and empowering women's voices for wickedness. So when did this begin and start? Yes. Well, OK, so this is my approach is I first and foremost will go to the Bible. I'm like, what does the Bible have to say? Our church, our approach. husband, if you watch any of our reels, you'll know, you're like, okay, they talk a lot about cultural issues, because what we have noticed is there is, there seems to be like this haze over a lot of churches, a lot of church leadership, that they are so into the Bible, but they're refusing to look up at what the what is happening in the world. And one quote, yeah, like one quote, my husband and I speak about quite often is Billy Graham, who said, I hold the Bible in one hand, and I hold the newspaper in the other is you have to be looking at both. So my approach is I love looking firstly, what does the Bible say about all these issues? And what is the culture saying? And how can the Bible help me reframe the way I should see it? Because I'm of the belief that if you live in the 21st century Western world, you most likely have feminist frameworks, at least as the basis of your thinking. For me, I learned a lot of this kind of stuff. When I dove in, I was seeing what was happening in the world. And I'm like, okay, what does the Bible say? Because I think a lot of this stuff is right. I don't necessarily see a problem with all of the little feminist things that you'll see in the Western church. And I'm like, what does the Bible say about this? Because I don't want to be living in disobedience, unaware, I don't want to be one of those naive, foolish people that live my whole life living in disobedience, but I never went to scripture to see what the Lord has to say. So firstly, I go to the Bible, but I also love history. So I'm a big history person. So where this all started, it's funny, because I actually saw a when I was looking up feminism, I saw this poster from a protest, a feminist protest or rally. And it was this woman holding up a sign that said, we are the daughters of the witches you couldn't burn. And I was like, okay, like, what is the backstory to this? And I went into a deep dive. And my conclusion is, not only is the feminist movement, the

feminist ideology, unbiblical, it puts the Bible on trial, quite literally, it's also deeply spiritual, it's demonic, and it's evil. So in terms of where this started, I could take you back to Genesis chapter three. And this is the foundation of feminism that we can see all throughout the world or throughout culture. It's Eve, Adam and Eve being given a mandate by God to live in obedience and submission to his will. And then you have the crafty serpent come, deceive the woman out of submission to God's word and his will. And she chooses to take this fruit in rebellion to God's order. And not only do you see woman stepping outside of her role of submission and, and obedience to God's order, you also see man, it says explicitly in the Bible, a lot of people tend to look past this, but it says it explicitly that Adam who was with her also took the fruit and ate it. So you see not only woman stepping out of her authority, and her place of submission, you see man refusing to lead his woman and his wife in the ways and the word of God. So this is the first place you see feminism, then you see the result of this, a woman will have pain and childbearing, she will desire, her desire will be for a husband, but he will rule over her, you see this enmity between man and woman is a direct result of this feminist desire for power, and for a rebellion from God's order. So that's where you first see it. Throughout history, though, most people will tell me, okay, first wave feminism, it was harmless, it, you know, just wanted women to have the right to education, the right to vote, all that, we can see some good stuff in it. But what my argument is, it's not just second wave, third wave, fourth wave, blue head, don't shave their armpit kind of feminists that are the problem. The problem is in the root ideology that you can see in first wave feminism, like I'm talking 1700s, 1800s, the biggest voices that you will hear, you'll hear a woman like Olymp de Gouges, you'll hear Mary Wollstonecraft, she wrote this like vindication for the rights of women. So when you look up, like prominent first wave feminists, you'll hear these women, what you don't hear is if you look at their husbands, their husbands, so Mary Wollstonecraft, for example, she had a husband named William Godwin. Not only was he also the one kind of campaigning this feminist ideology in her, but he was a socialist. He was a atheist in many ways. He was an anarchist. Yes, many of them were, but the core ideology is, and this is from this group in this time called the Romantics, the Romanticism era. They had this idea, they reframed the way that we saw Genesis three. So remember I told you, Genesis

three, from a Christian point of view, we see men and women rebel, and they sin is birthed into creation out of their rebellion. What they saw was let's just reinterpret this in a Christian world where everybody's Christian, and it's the norm. Let's reinterpret this. It's actually not Satan. That's the bad guy in this story. The bad guy in this story is actually God, because the way they saw this was God is a tyrant who wants to keep knowledge from humanity. He wants to keep them away from this knowledge that opens them up to the world. He didn't want them to be like him. So God restricts mankind because he's a tyrant. And Satan actually comes as a liberator. This is where you get Luciferianism. The foundations of it was from this idea and even started second century Gnosticism, that Satan is not the bad guy in the story. He's not the villain. He's actually the hero. He comes to set mankind free from the tyrannical hand of God himself. So this ideology framed the thinking of the first wave feminists and their husbands who championed them in this ideology. So William Godwin, he was a Satanist before Satanism was an organization that was established. So it was only established in the 20s, 1920s. But the ideas of an adoration of the Luciferian figure of Satan, of this serpent creature, the adoration of this creature dates back to like centuries before this idea. So these people really like championed the idea of God is a tyrant. Satan is the liberator. And this is the foundation of first wave feminism. Hello, everybody. Heather Schott here. Wow, the foundation and feel we even see at the end of this first wave. Margaret Sanger, who many of us know today, we've done many podcasts on her and her history, but obviously she was the one that came and rah-rah on birth control. The developer of Planned Parenthood, who made sure that Planned Parenthoods were being planted in all of the lower income black brown neighborhoods. Literally a racist, godless, divorced woman that lived a life of sexual immorality, but it was this burn your bra, we're for women's rights. But it was so twisted because her life of what you're saying, these are the foundations of the women that were leading women America thinking this is a women's movement or we're in the fight for women's rights, all the while being fueled by demonic spirits. So we go from, you know, this is crazy. Even Margaret Sanger, she released a newsletter, an eight-page monthly newsletter that was called, or there was a slogan in it, No Gods, No Masters. They were not hiding. They were not hiding what was fueling them or the foundations. It's exactly what you were just saying. It was a complete denial of God because if we believe in God, then we actually have to submit to a being. We are removing submission, not just from talking about a male or a husband. We're talking about, no, no, no, we want to be fully submitted to ourselves, worship self, and not even submit ourselves to a being or to a creator named God. That was what was behind that you're saying, even in the first wave of feminism dating back to 17, 1800s, this is interesting to me. Sanger died on 9-6-1966. It's just like, fun fact, but creepy that I just had to throw in there. But there's so much wickedness that comes from so far back. So let's go into the second wave of feminism. This is the 1960s, the 1980s. We really see this, we're really not going to hide it. We're going to be flamboyant about our feministic views. This is a focus on social economics. sexual liberation. Now that men don't just get sexual liberation and to choose and do whatever they want sexually, now women do. And this is about our freedom to sexually be who we want to be and have sex with as many people as we want to. And this is where we really see this flamboyance on perversion begin to come out of feminism. Oh, yeah. And the foundations of this as well, by the way, started in first wave feminism. So women like Mary Wollstonecraft, her daughter, Mary Shelley, as well, who was also married to an atheist, anarchist, socialist, Lucifer-loving man. This foundation, actually, the movement of not wanting to have children started in the first wave feminism. You know, you have

the Industrial Revolution. Women now see an opportunity to be an individualist. They see independence as an idol, if you would say that, an idol to strive. So the idea was, I don't want to be bound by my husband. I don't want to be reliant on my husband. I don't want, what if something were to happen and he were to abuse me? And a lot of this came out of a good intention of we want to protect women in the minorities that women are being abused by their husbands. They take this idea, which has good intentions, and magnify it as a movement that says men are the problem. So women need to find a solution in themselves. And so instead of the church addressing, okay, the root of this problem is that we have men that are failing to lead in the way that Christ says to lead, to love your wife as Christ loved the church. Instead of that being the solution, the solution was, well, let's backtrack and say, maybe the system that God has created is actually bad in nature and we need to redefine it. Women should be independent from their husbands. So that's why you see a lot of the time, this idea of marriage being an oppressive system. It's why you see children being a burden and not a gift. So the first wave feminism before birth control existed through Margaret Sanger, their idea was instead of sleeping with their husbands as is our duty as their wife, we're going to, in the same way that nuns choose to be married to God by abstaining from sex, we're going to be married to our careers and abstain from sex. We don't want to have children. We don't want to be united with our husbands. We want to be independent. So the same way a nun does it, we're going to do it in the opposite, in a demonic way. We're going to do it in the opposite way. We're not going to have children. So Mary Shelley, her mother died in childbirth. So a lot of this was, well, I don't want my opportunities to be limited because of the children that I'm going to have. I don't want to be bound to a home and have to take care of children when I could be out there with the industrial revolution, making my way in the world and making my own income. So these ideas were the foundation of the first wave feminism, which just skyrocketed to what we see in second wave feminism of women on the streets, like you said, burning bras. We want to be set free from the patriarchal system and demanding birth control. And then in future, demanding abortions on demand. So this, the foundations of it is demonic from the beginning. It's such an antichrist spirit because as they're saying, children get in the way of our purpose. What they're really saying is part of my God given purpose

that women are the only sex that can birth babies. I'm now rejecting the actual honor, the actual miracle that my body can birth and that part of my purpose, a huge part of my purpose is to be able to birth and to mother and to raise. So it's such an antichrist spirit to reject that power that God has given women to say, I'm going to go chase a job or a title instead over this. And I love that you use the term antichrist because what I was praying about this morning, as I was thinking about this, I'm like, this all comes back to a gospel issue because woman, it's so interesting because I did a study on the term woman. I'm very interested in the words that the Bible uses very specifically. The term for Adam just means man, right? Adam is man. But the term for Eve isn't woman. She has two separate ways to refer to her. Woman is from the man, but she gets given a word Eve. Eve means the mother of all living things. So not only is a woman's identity in the fact that she's a woman and she is made in the image of God to reflect this sacred image, but she's also given this identity of you will be a mother of all living things in the same way that God births life into the earth. His breath brings life. You get to reflect the sacred image of the creator by bringing life into the earth. What a demonic scheme to take that gift that reflects God's image, to say that it's evil, to say that it's oppressive to women. It is so anti-Christ, if going further than that, the idea of a woman giving up her body for the sake of another so that they may live is literally the image we see of Christ, who gave his body, his blood was spilt so that we could have life. You're telling me that that's not an image, it's an opportunity for women to reflect the sacred image of Christ. I get the honor with my body to lay down my body for the sake of another, but the feminist movement has told women that that is an oppressive system

and that God is expecting that of you to keep you in chains. It's so anti-Christ, like the word that you said, it's so demonic and it's actually something that puts the gospel on trial. So speaking of trial, during this time in the 60s and 70s, there was actually a feminist group that used the acronym WITCH, W-I-T-C-H, that stood for Women's International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell. Wow. Wild. It's very subtle. They had a tremendous hatred for men, marriage, and they basically said that marriage should be considered as rape by law, that it was slavery, they referred to themselves as cattle just owned by men, that this is slavery and this is something that we need to change, but literally, again, confirming what you're saying, coming against not just, we're not just talking a culture, we're talking about God's image to not just bear children, but God's definition of also and beauty of marriage and what God said, I'm gonna bring a man and woman together to become one, unified, and they began to pervert this image

to the point that it was, again, we saw in the 60s and 70s that even leads up to the third wave of feminism, even to modern day today, we're in a massive wave of it right now of I'm going to deny marriage, I'm going to deny motherhood, I'm going to deny men completely and deny God, and this is living my best life. Yes. So how, first of all, I wanna pause, who is actually, and I know I just said it, but many of these women try to portray that it was man's system, it was man's imprisonment that made up marriage. Yes. And so now we have to break out of man's laws of marriage and of slavery. Did man really make up marriage? Oh, yeah. It's so funny because when you look at feminism and its ideology, you look throughout history, no matter what wave you wanna look at, the root of it, there's a few key things that they will say. Number one, they oppose marriage. The constitution of marriage is seen as a man-made system to oppress women. That's literally in the Feminist Declaration of 1971, is that marriage is an institution

made by men to oppress women. A lot of the first wave feminists, the second wave feminists, they will tell you marriage is something that keeps women in chains. So the idea of a marriage was slavery. Some of them literally say marriage constitutes slavery for women. This idea is not a radical idea. It's what they believe. To us, to the Christian worldview, it is radical because we understand it's not men that decided to just make marriage for their benefit to control women and sleep with them whenever they want, which is what they say. Marriage was designed by God to reflect the gospel. The bride and the bridegroom, Jesus and his church. Again, the sacred image of God, the image of the gospel, Jesus dying on the cross for his bride. This kind of stuff, like you said, anti-Christ. But what's so funny about the marriage thing and this whole movement of marriage being oppressive is dated all the way back in the day. They see this idea of putting the Bible on trial. God is a creator, but he's a creator in a sense that he created oppression. And so the idea of marriage, they believed, men decided, okay, you know what?

Because we want power and we want control and prestige and we wanna sleep with whoever we want, let's create this system where we tell a woman that she has to stay with us forever until she dies and she doesn't get to choose. She has to sleep with us. She has to cook for us. She has to clean for us. But what's so backwards about this is if you look at the culture of the time before Christianity came into the Western world and made the West Christian, you would be shocked at the treatment of women. I'm a big advocate for the fact that Christianity is what brought rights to women. So what's so interesting is the Roman world, which is, I guess, the pinnacle of Western thought, ideology of culture before Christianity, the Roman world, the view. who of women was that they are nothing. And this is coming from the survival of the fittest mentality, which is the same mentality, by the way, that Margaret Sanger had as a eugenicist. Some humans are not as valuable as others. It's the same worldview that atheists have, evolutionary thinking, some are more valuable than others. So this worldview was, if you're strong and if you can fight your way through the world and fight your way through life, then you can be on top. So practically speaking, it would be the Roman male.

The Roman male was fitter, he was stronger, and practically speaking, could destroy any woman or child in his path. He is biologically more strong. So because of the survival of the fittest mentality, the men in society were culturally on top. And so women in this situation, if you couldn't fight your way out of a rape, you would get raped. That was your problem because you are not fit. They didn't see a value on the fact that you are a woman because it's Christianity that taught that. What most people don't understand is your worldview that women have rights and should have rights because they have value is framed by Christianity. It wasn't until Paul came in and said, in Galatians 3, he said, it's not male or female, slave or free, Jew or Gentile, we all have value in Christ. We are all made in the image of God. It wasn't until Paul came and said this that people were like, wait a sec, so we should be treating women with dignity? I shouldn't be treating her like she was property? Because remember, in this culture of men being survival of the fittest on top, a man could just go out on the street, sees a woman that he likes, he has sexual urges, so I'm just gonna go fulfill my sexual urges. I'm the strongest, I can do that. Women don't have dignity.

So in this culture, Paul saying this statement was revolutionary. The fact that the Christians believe that the women, that they had the wives that they would have under God, they would have a responsibility to provide, to protect until they die. And Jesus' teaching of men love your wives as Christ loved the church, go to the point that you would die for her. In this culture, can you understand how revolutionary this was, that a man would die for a woman? Why would a man die for a woman? He's stronger, he's better. Culturally speaking, the Romans believed that and was very tied to their culture. Christianity coming in changes the game. And so for feminists to say marriage is an institution that men created to oppress women, it is practically the opposite. Marriage is something that says, okay, instead of going out on the street and raping whoever you want and doing whatever you want and having as many sexual partners as you want, instead you have to commit to one woman for the rest of your life. And you are responsible to love, to provide, to protect her until you die. To the point that if it costs you your life, you have to give your life.

This is the opposite of what the feminists claim. Marriage is created by God to protect women, to empower women. It's not something that men created to get more power and to use women as a slave. It's such a ridiculous idea and it has no history backing it at all. Just mic drop right there. Just mic drop moment right there. You know what's wild is the feminist movement that wants to reject God. Now think everybody of after what Nolene just said, after what you just said. And their idea is to reject God, their protector, provider, who actually calls men higher. Studies actually show, if you look at a secular male or a Christian male, over and over, studies show percentages higher a Christian male is going to be more faithful, godly, protective, provider, and all out better husband than in the secular world. Why? Because there's morality, there's standards. He has to live according to biblical order. He has to live according to holiness and to righteousness. And guess who he has to submit to? God himself. And that's what people don't get. It's a greater level of standard, yet this feminist movement as women want to say,

let's reject God, the greatest accountability figure that there is, and say, let's live according to ourselves. And then what? Go have sexual relations with all of these different men that are using and abusing and laughing and saying, you don't respect yourself. Yeah, you just need to read the Bible to see that God is the biggest empowerer of women. And feminists to reject God, to reject the creator, is I just flat out just call it stupid. I'm like, it's just stupid. You are creating a slavery. You under a slavery mentality, you think that God is the one that's putting you in slavery. So instead you're gonna be in slavery to sin. Right. you're signing yourself up for it. Exactly, you are a slave to something. Either you are a slave to sin, or you are a slave to Christ. I would prefer to be a slave to Christ 100 times over than being stuck in the boundaries of sin and going down this like spiral of oppression that I put myself in. Sin is its own curse. Sin is a curse, it's a bondage. And women think that it's God that is bringing the oppression, but it's God who sets you free from that. Absolutely.

Let's go into this fourth wave. This final wave of feminism is from 2010s to present day, which is really defined by this digital activism, hashtag Me Too movements, this continued emphasis on intersectionality, LGBTQ rights, and bodily anatomy. Like what is, is there just two sexes now? So it's literally what you were just talking about makes no sense. That's crazy. It makes no sense whatever. So we've gone from rejecting men to now attacking men through like Me Too movements. And then we have women in the feminist movement that are supposed to be fighting for women's rights, yet there are four males pretending to be women and fighting in women or engaging in competing in women's sports, taking women out. Yes. It's chaos. It's crazy. It makes absolute no sense. Yes, and this is where like the framework that you can trace this to in history is ancient Gnosticism. So Gnosticism is a Christian heresy. The early church branded it as a heresy in the second century, but this idea came out, similar idea to the romantics of the 18th century. They thought Satan is a liberator, God is the tyrant. The mentality that you see at the foundation of Gnosticism

is what we call dualism. They believe that there is a body and a soul split. So they don't believe what the Bible teaches that you are a human body, soul, and spirit, and that is your being. God is going to glorify. You're not just gonna be glorified one day in spirit. The body is going to be glorified. The fact that Jesus had a bodily resurrection shows that the body has value. You worship God with your body and your spirit, Romans 12, one, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice. This is your spiritual worship. So the Bible makes it clear, you as a human being, reflecting the image of God, mind, body, soul, all of it together. Your body is a temple, it's a temple of the Holy Spirit. We see imagery of this all throughout scripture, but what the Gnostics taught was that the body is actually evil. The body is the realm of decay and destruction, and the spirit is actually the thing that is good. So it taught the internal reality of a human being is good. The body is bad. The body is like this meat suit that is a prison realm that the soul is trapped in. And so it believed that the body and the soul were separate. The human being, the core of a human being is on the internal. And this is where you can see the foundations

of fourth wave feminism and the transgender ideology, homosexuality, all of this comes from this idea that who you are on the inside is actually a true reality. And what reflects on the outside is not actually real. It's just a social construct. So the way that you can see them merge these ideas, it doesn't make sense practically, because I thought like women should have value and rights and should be protected, except you're gonna let men in women's bathrooms because you're trying to bring freedom to the oppressed. It contradicts itself practically. We look at that and we're like, that's stupid. Do you fight for women's rights or do you not? Because now you're letting men in on women's bathrooms under trans rights and activism. It makes no sense practically, but to their worldview, it makes total sense because this Gnostic framework says who I am on the inside is actually what is real. What's on the outside is just a false fabrication. That's why they'll say I'm a feminist and I'm fighting for womanhood, but they'll dress completely opposite to it. It's why they don't shave their armpits in protest because what's on the outside is just a meat suit. It's not real. It's a social construct. That's why they're trying to oppose the social construct that patriarchy has said is what a woman should be,

which the Bible denies over and over again. The Bible giving clear instructions like women, make sure that your outer appearance is not all that matters, but it should still matter. You shouldn't be, men, you shouldn't be dressing in woman's clothes and getting dressed in dresses. And it gives specific instructions to how what is on the outside should reflect the sacred image in the same way that who you are on the inside reflects the image of God as well. So these ideas seem very conflicting to us, which they are, but to them, worldview. It's just Gnosticism. It's an ancient heresy. It's been around and debunked since the second century. Wild. So speaking of history, there's been a spirit that's been around also since biblical times. Yes. And I believe that spirit, the spirit of Jezebel is leading this feminist movement. Yes. And the spirit competes to take others out. Doesn't matter what it has to trample. Self comes first. It is that spirit of rebellion. Jealousy will do absolutely anything to manipulate, to control for that power. And what's interesting is that the name Jezebel means unhusbanded. Wow. It means unsubmitted. And it's what we've been talking about this entire podcast of why the spirit, I believe, is the leader of this feminist movement. It doesn't have to make sense. It's after power. Yes. And it's in competition with God. Yes. And so how have you seen this spirit of this spirit of Jezebel be magnified? I want to read. I want to read Revelations 2, 19 through 23 real quick, because I think a lot of us just repeat, like, don't tolerate the spirit. But then we mock it because people have used the name Jezebel, like a derogatory word towards women. Yeah. So a lot of women will just roll their eyes like, oh, you're just calling another one of us Jezebel. Right. And we have forgotten that it's a spirit. Yes. As the church that we're calling out. It's not a derogatory term towards a woman because the world uses derogatory terms. So it thinks this is just another derogatory name towards women.

Which, by the way, I just have to pause. Women, we have to heal because we've spoken about the oppression. We're not saying by calling out this movement, this feministic movement, that there hasn't been oppression towards women. We're going to get into this in a second. But we have to heal or we don't receive anything that you and I are talking about. Because our pain and our our wounds are these gaping places that this spirit just comes and is like, oh, I'm going to take I can fully take value in place in this woman's life because of the open wounds in her. We have to heal so that this spirit doesn't begin to lead us without knowing. But Revelations 219 through 23, I'm going to read you a few verses. Verse 19. This is this is Jesus speaking. He says, I know your deeds. And he's speaking to the church, speaking to the church, not speaking to the world. I know your deeds, your love, your faith, your service, your good servants. You love well. And this has been a mantra. It's just love. If we just love well and this is well, this is Jesus words in Revelation saying, I know that you've loved. I know that you have faith. I know that you've served. You've served in my house. I know that you've persevered and your latest deeds are even greater than your first. You've grown in action and stepping out in your deeds and faith. But I have this against you. You tolerate that woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. So what she's coming masquerading like what looks good. Oh, we've done some good things for women's movements and rights. And then women that are I'm just going to say it foolish and aren't carrying wisdom and discernment begin to align themselves with this spirit. It says by her teaching, she misleads my servants to be sexually immoral or to eat food, sacrifice to idols. Even though I've given her time to repent of her immorality, she is unwilling. Behold, I will cast her into a bed of sickness. And those who commit adultery, speaking to the church, speaking to Christians, those who commit adultery with her or what begin to align our ways, begin to align our beliefs, our thought process, begin to unify with women's rights in the world. Those who commit adultery with her will suffer great tribulation unless they repent of their deeds. Then I will strike her children dead. I thought that that was so crazy. You know, Margaret Sanger's daughter just died of pneumonia. Yeah. I will strike her children dead. And when she was in the fight and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. If that doesn't put a fear of the Lord in you, it's not about you and I searching minds and hearts today. If we don't search our own like David did. Right. He's saying I'm coming to search your minds and hearts, your motives, your hearts, and how you're leading and

raising your daughters in how you're voting and how you're ministering, leading, praying. And I will repay each of you according to your deeds. Do you see the church? Do you see Christian women tolerating the spirit today? Absolutely. What's crazy is most people will tell you. And I find a lot of this in the people that try to be very theological. They're like, Oh, Jezebel was a woman. she wasn't a spirit. The fact that you can see Jezebel in Revelation, it's not talking about the Jezebel in 1st and 2nd Samuel in the time of the Babylonians. How could we tolerate a dead person? Exactly. And this Jezebel was eaten by dogs. Now the Jezebel in Revelation, you say she'll die in a bed of sickness. These are two different ideas. What Revelation is talking about is a spirit. And that's what many people fail to understand is there are spirits, like Paul talks about over and over again in Ephesians 6, is the battle is not against flesh and blood, powers and principalities of this dark world. There are principalities. There are things that keep you in bondage in the spirit and don't act like you're above it. This is not Jesus covers it all yet. Jesus does cover it all if you're living under him in submission to his will and word. Exactly. But if you're living outside of the will of God, don't expect the blood of Jesus to cover bad lifestyle and the consequences of rebellion. It doesn't work like that. We see that all throughout the Old Testament. So this spirit of Jezebel, what you're reading is a perfect image, I think, of the church in the West. For the most part, there are many faithful churches. Mercy culture is one. There are many faithful churches that are teaching the biblical idea of masculinity, femininity. But there are many churches that deem this as a cultural issue, as a political issue. And we're just going to preach the Bible. We're just going to do what the Bible says. I'm like, you're doing what the Bible says in part. You're not preaching the full gospel because you're choosing to be silent about the things that the culture deems as political or cultural. You have a responsibility as a church leader, as a Christian, to be discipling people in this. The great commission is teaching them to obey all of my commands. All 613 Old Testament law, they were about lifestyle things. Torah literally means an instruction for living. The law was an instruction for living, not just in the things that you think are Christian, but in the things that the Bible says should encompass your entire life. The way you submit to your husband, the way you talk to your friend, the way you see your purpose and your calling,

the way that you function as a woman. The Bible has a lot to say about that. And we as a church have been saying that this is a cultural issue. When the Bible makes it very clear, this is God's. God has put his image on you as a woman. So your responsibility as a woman seeking holiness and seeking sanctification and wanting to become a mate into the image of Christ is how can I best reflect the image of God and how can I be transformed into the image of Christ? Looking into the deceptions of our time, like feminism, is one of the ways that you have responsibility to do this. I think that it's a cop-out for Christian women specifically. Men, I think, need to look into this as well. But for Christian women that choose to just stay away from this stuff because I'm just going to focus on the Bible, you have no clue. You might be doing the right things, like that scripture literally says. You might be serving well, loving well. You might be ticking the boxes from a Christianese standpoint. But are you actually reading the full gospel and living life in obedience in full? This is something that we can't stay away from. Yeah, absolutely. And when you said that the church cannot be silent, the church being silent on these issues, it's detrimental for our children. It's detrimental for our daughters because Hollywood is not quiet. It's loud. And it's loud through social media. It's loud through every media platform that there is. Our daughters are scrolling through social media, seeing the Taylor Swifts and all the celebrities that they look up to and see exactly what feminism they are portraying, this feministic God. Jezebel is aggressive. That's what people need to understand. She is an aggressive spirit. She's not passive. She's not going to come to you when you're sitting on the sidelines and not doing anything. She's going to come to you aggressively. She's going to come and she wants to take women outside of their God-given role of authority. She hates masculinity. She hates patriarchy the way the Bible has said that it should be male leadership. She hates it. So she will do whatever she can. Spiritually speaking, she will do whatever she can to disrupt the order that God has set. And for many women, you have potentially fallen for that without knowing it because you've left that up to the world to talk about. Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, all of these celebrities, they're all self-proclaimed feminists. They're all practicing the new age, which is tied into feminist propaganda as well. All of this stuff is aggressively after the young women, old and young, but they're after the next generation of women. And the church needs to start speaking up. Otherwise, we are going to lose the next generation of women to Jezebel. I want to testify in how Jesus empowered women. And I love that you say women's rights,

they began in the Bible. Yes. And Jesus. was one of the greatest examples of empowering women. What are your favorite examples? Yeah, oh, well, I mean, the first one that I think of all the time is that it was women that Jesus chose to reveal himself. But the first people that saw the bodily resurrection of Jesus were women. And if you look at the timing of this, like the context of this is insane. If you read, I was reading actually a few weeks ago, Josephus, who was a Jewish writer in the time of Jesus, who testified to seeing Jesus. And as much as I love a lot of his writings, there is one thing that he wrote about. He wrote about what women are according to the time. And this was showing the perception of women culturally. Women did not have value. They weren't even allowed to speak a lot of the time. And for Josephus, I can't exactly remember the exact quote, but you can check it. He talks about speaking to a woman compromises your salvation. And so if speaking to a woman compromises your salvation, the fact that Jesus himself spoke to the woman, the Samaritan woman in John chapter four, that's why she's like, why are you talking to me? Like, you shouldn't be talking to me in public. Not only is there no other men around for accountability,

but you're talking to me in public. But the Bible even says when the disciples arrive from getting food and water, they're in shock. Yes, they're like, why are you talking to a woman? Like, you shouldn't be doing that. So this is scandalous that Jesus would choose to testify for the good news of him coming as the word of God, the man of God, the son of God, to a woman. Like, this is radical. It's scandalous, but it's also exposing the heart of Jesus and the true kingdom. Exactly. And that's why I love it. It's scandalous for cultural times. But in these moments, when you see how Jesus interacted with women, how he empowered women, how he received from women, how he was co-laborers with women, how he defended women, you see a God that has this heart to empower, love, endorse women. Absolutely. Work with women, anoint women, even the Samaritan women. What does she do? She goes back, she leaves what she originally came for. She originally came for water. Now she has living water. She's filled up by living water. She runs back to that town and begins to testify, preach the gospel, who she just encountered.

She begins to say, a man, the Messiah is here. What? She influences an entire town to come and encounter Jesus, probably more than what most pastors do today in their cities. She empowers her entire town and city, or I'm sorry, she is empowered by Jesus to bring her entire city to encounter Jesus. This is beautiful. This doesn't happen without redemption and his anointing on this woman to be able to what? What you're saying culturally in these times, for men to follow a woman back to the Messiah. Crazy, crazy. It's revolutionary and a beautiful example. And this is one I always come back to. This, I honestly can say since I studied this and like, I remember it was like an Easter probably three weeks, three years ago, sorry. It was Easter weekend and I was studying this story of the woman, Mary at the feet of Jesus. And this really brought me to a depth of my relationship with God that I can weave this into everything that I talk about. The relationship between Jesus and this woman, Mary, who's at his feet is, it shows the deepest level of intimacy. It's beautiful. So Mary, she's sitting and she's washing Jesus' feet. She's wiping it with her hair, with this alabaster jar.

What's beautiful is the symbolism of the feet. The feet were like the dirtiest part of a person. Like you're thinking like in the Middle East, in the desert, they're wearing sandals. Their feet are disgusting. They're dirty, they're sweaty. So when you would come into a house, the servant, the lowest person in the cultural position, in the household position, the lowest person would be the one that would wash the feet, would wipe your feet, would make sure they're clean as you entered into the house. Mary, while like there's so much going on in the room, there are a bunch of men sitting at a table reclining, she takes the position in submission. And this is the thing, feminists go against, it's a rebellion against submission. Submission is just surrender. It's surrender to God. It's surrender to his authority. It's surrender to his role and his way and his will. She positions herself in surrender at his feet. She comes down low in complete humility and reverence. She starts wiping her feet, but she doesn't just wash his feet with water. She doesn't think that water is worthy enough. So she starts crying and wiping it with her hair. And she breaks this alabaster jar of perfume that's worth a year's wages.

and she starts wiping the feet with that because water is not worthy of the feet of the Messiah. This is a woman that reflects what Proverbs 31 says, that a woman who fears the Lord is worthy to be praised. This is the ultimate empowerment of woman. The best way to be empowered is to let yourself be down, come from a place of humility, of reverence. The feet of Jesus is the position every single woman should be striving for. If you're a Christian woman, your position should not be to make yourself higher, to get above and to be empowered in your own will. And authority, your position, and you should be striving to lower myself and take the position at the feet of Jesus. Everything I do, I'm doing at the feet of Jesus. As I worship, as I preach on a Sunday in church, as I preach in conferences around the world, as I spend time in the presence of God, as I work, as I mother my children, I am doing all of this at the feet of Jesus. This is submission. This is what the Bible talks about as a gift. Even John the Baptist decreed, I decrease so that he would increase. But this is the most beautiful transition point of the story that you just shared of Mary, because the onlookers, even some of the disciples and the people begin to mock her and say, you're gonna let a woman do this?

You demean and speak down. How dare you let a woman in your presence, let alone speak to her, let alone bring her up and empower her and say, she's chosen the better thing and start rebuking the man who was sitting on the table without reverence. He said, I came in here, you didn't kiss me. You didn't welcome me. She's now on the floor. She has taken the best position. It's not about men and woman, male or female. It's about reverence, it's about humility. He said, what she's done will be preached around the world for all of times. That moment of her defeat becomes famous for the rest of time until he returns. I believe a lot of women are stuck in the insults and in the oppression and they don't know how to keep their eyes on Jesus and stayed at his feet like what you just said. And I'm just gonna have a vulnerable moment and share this because I'm believing for women to be healed. I believe wounds, past wounds or any type of oppression that they've experienced is the open door for this spirit to swallow them up and make them a part of this movement instead of staying surrendered and submitted to Jesus. And I have experienced, I've experienced it many times as a woman preacher.

And I'm not just talking about trolls on social media. I'm talking about people that I admired, that I respected, that I loved. I remember for years, Landon and I were at a church and we loved this church, but I was expected to work full-time for free. Every single meeting, 40 hours plus a week, no paycheck until I had to go get another job and I was reprimanded why I wasn't in a meeting because we couldn't pay our bills. And it was like, okay, well, we're gonna pay you pennies. I remember going and preaching on a preaching engagement one time and God gives me a message on the spirit of divination and out of Acts 16 and that there was gonna be deliverance from witchcraft. The pastor that I know for years was so offended that I had preached on that. Now there's people, I mean, wrecked being delivered in the spirit, giant buff men at an altar weeping at the altar. He refused to send an honorarium because he said, you should have come and shared your testimony, which I would have been honored to do. And that's beautiful. And it's preaching Jesus still because my testimony is what he's done for me, right? But I remember not receiving an honorarium and my husband standing out and defending me and saying, you know,

and I don't even need to go into all that. But the point of me sharing these moments is saying I understand as a woman when you feel made less than, dishonored, devalued, oppressed, whatever. But I have kept my eyes on Jesus. I have kept my eyes, he's the one that called me. I didn't put myself in those places. When it's not about me and it's not about my purpose, it's about his purposes in the earth. It doesn't matter what color you are, what sex you are, what age you are, you're going to go through suffering in life. Am I saying that I am for women being abused in church? No, absolutely not. But what I am saying is that there's biblical reference, it is prophetic, the pressing, the pressing that has to be done to olives and to grapes to produce wine or to produce oil, to produce an anointing. I believe those moments do not have to be the wounds in women's life, but actually get to be the pressing that creates anointing. And when the anointing flows, hear me women, I feel the Holy Spirit. The anointing flows, no man and no human can stop when God decides to choose to flow through a woman, to flow through old, to flow through young, to flow through black or white. Man can try to argue it, but they can't stop it. God gets to choose. And so this would be my encouragement, just as we begin to minister to women, to men, and I hope this ministers to men too, that sometimes men have been also oppressed by

feminist movements, and then they get angry and hurt. Their mothers were horrible to them, or other women were horrible to them, and then they all of a sudden have something in their heart towards women. They don't know how to empower or to partner with women because they've been hurt. And there needs to be healing that takes place in the body of Christ, and where these moments of suffering, of pain that we've been through, that we submit even to the moments of pain. What Nolene just brought up about Mary at the feet of Jesus, go read this scripture. Insults were coming her way, mockery was coming her way. What was she pouring out? I feel the Holy Spirit. She's pouring out perfume, oil. Jesus is saying what she is doing right now will be preached around the world to the ends of the earth for all time. One of the greatest sermons ever right there, he said. This will be the greatest sermon ever preached other than the cross. And so this is what I'm encouraging. Embrace. Embrace the hard moments, the hurting, the suffering moments. Let it produce an oil. Let the anointing on your life speak for you. Let the fruit of your life speak for you. Instead of defending yourself, instead of becoming a bullseye for the enemy because our wounds begin to fester and we don't let the Holy Spirit heal us. Nolene, is there any just words, prophetic unctions or ministry that you just feel to minister to men or women right now? Yeah, it's beautiful because you're talking about the anointing and two nights ago I felt that that was God. That's what God was speaking to me about for me personally as well. And just in general, what the anointing is and like one thing that I've just been thinking of over and over again, as you say that is the anointing, the oil doesn't flow over disobedience.

The oil will not flow over disobedience and David when, yeah, when David was anointed, when he was anointed to be king, he was in the fields being a shepherd. He was doing what a king should be doing and that's taking care of sheep. That's Jesus is the good shepherd. This was just an imagery of what the Messiah would be when he came. So this idea of make sure that you, the feminist lie of make sure that you, you work and you empower yourself and you, you try to usurp your authority. This is not what is going to bring your anointing. Your divine call, your anointing, what God has created you for specifically, what God has gifted you and anointed you for will not come in your own strength. It will not come by your own authority. It will not come with your own striving. It will only come by the grace of God. God has given a grace, a measure of grace, a measure of faith. And the only way to find that is when you go to the secret place, you humble yourself and you choose submission over and over again. Submit to your husband, submit to Christ at the altar, live your life on the altar. When you decide to become a living sacrifice, the fire of God will fall upon you. We see that in the Old Testament when they brought a sacrifice on the altar, the heavens would open, fire would come and consume the offering. Let your life be a living sacrifice so that the fire of God will fall upon that. Only then will you operate in the gifting and the anointing of God. That is worth everything. It's not worth a position in your career. It's not worth the corporate ladder. It's not worth this, what the culture deems as successful. None of it will be worth it. Make what is worth it in heaven. It is an eternal reward that we are fighting for. Let your name be known in heaven, not just on earth.

Your justification can be your greatest deception. So you need to forgive because so many of you feel justified in your pain or what you've gone through, justified in your oppression, justified in your suffering. And so you hold on to that. You need to let go and you need to forgive the individuals that have done something. It may be your mothers, men that are listening right now that you need to forgive so you can empower your wife, so you can disciple your daughter in a healthy way. Women, it may need to be that you need to forgive a past pastor or your father or a spiritual leader or a husband, your husband, so that your marriage can flourish and you can begin to walk in everything that God has called you to walk in. But I just, I want to say this to you. Many of us, when we hold onto our, our suffering, there's this self-righteousness that comes and we forget that no amount of suffering or oppression can outdo what Jesus did for us as a man, as our Savior. I promise you, whatever you think that you have endured, He endured more. He carried on all of our sin, all of the weight, all of our failures and our weaknesses, He carried it on Himself so that you would not just be forgiven. So that the way you have been forgiven, you could also forgive. I, I just, I want to decree this over the women listening, a few scriptures, Isaiah 14, 37, the Lord of heaven's armies has spoken. Who can change his plans when his hand is raised? Who can stop him? I decree over the women that are listening right now. When God chooses to put his hand on you, no man can remove God's hand on you. You don't need to be the defender of yourself. You need to stay like Nolene said at the feet of Jesus. Acts 5 39, but if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God. If people want to fight against you, let them take it up with the Lord. Keep preaching the gospel.

Keep raising up your sons and daughters to fear the Lord. Keep leading in those ministries. Keep staying on your knees and intercession and warring for our nation and for the next generation. Proverbs 19 21, many plans are in a man's heart, but the purpose of the Lord will prevail. If you submit your ways and your purpose to him, it'll be his purposes through your life that will prevail and Romans 8 31. What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Come on. Is if God is for you, this is the word of God that is living. It is true. If God is for you, women, if God is for your marriages, if God is for your daughter, then who can be against you? No man, no individual, no person, no group, no podcast can come against you to take you down if the Lord has chosen you, I prophesied this over, over women right now, and I've prophesied our house, but I felt like it was important to say, I believe we are about to see one of the greatest pure, holy, and righteous women movements of our time and day. I believe there is an Esther's and Deborah's moment that is a rising where it's not one, it's not two. There's going to be a multitude of Esther's and Deborah's that arise in this hour. Why? Because I believe God is going to anoint his daughters to unseat this wicked principality that we are seeing in the world, this Jezebel spirit that is leading through this feminist movement that is decreeing, oh, we're going to murder our babies. 60 million babies murdered in the last 50 years.

Look, either we're going to receive judgment as a nation or his hand of mercy and favor stays because what Esther's and Deborah's arise and call out wickedness and prophesy over their daughters and raise up women of holiness that will stand boldly, ferociously for truth to bring freedom to women that are caught up in the spirit right now. I believe it's time women, daughters, it's time to heal. It's time to be redeemed and restored. And now it's time to walk in the authority, not to argue over it. Go walk in the authority that Christ paid for on the cross and let's unseat these wicked principalities that we are seeing in the earth today. Nolene, would you just pray? Would you pray for women for this purity and righteousness? And then will you pray for unity in men and women? Yes, absolutely. Thank you. I'd love to. God, we thank you so much for your gift. We thank you for the gift of womanhood and of manhood. God, that this is a sacred image, the sacred image of God that we have been called to reflect. So God, we thank you for the honor. We thank you for the honor to reflect your image. We thank you for the honor to reflect your beauty and to be an image, God, of the one true God. So we pray that you would empower women that are listening to this. We pray that you would empower men that are listening to this, to flourish in the image that you have created them before they were created in the womb, before their very being was formed in the womb. You knew them and you knew what you wanted them to become and to be and flourish in, so we pray God that you would inspire and equip every single

listener, that they would flourish in their divine image, that they would reflect the sacred image and that they would reflect something that is timeless, that is, there is nothing better than reflecting the sacred image of God, so we pray over every single woman. Would you guard her heart? Would you guard her mind? Would you teach her to take her thoughts captive? Would you teach her God to make? make her mind in submission to your word and your will. We pray for women that walk in the fear of the Lord, women that reflect your image in beauty, in grace, in timidity, God, that we pray for women who are meek, who women who submit to their husbands, who live in obedience to you and your will, and women, God, that reflect your image. We pray over the men listening as well, God, we pray that you would raise up their masculinity against a culture that is trying to shut them down. We pray against the scheme of the devil to silence men, to beat men down, to tell them that what they're doing is oppressive. It is not oppressive. It is a divine call from God. So we pray, God, as the two function together in perfect compatibility, you have designed men and women to flourish together in the union of marriage. So we pray over the marriages that are represented. Listening to this podcast,

we pray over every single marriage, God, that you would empower it to reflect the gospel, a sacred image of the gospel that Jesus came and died for his bride. We pray that you would empower the men, the husbands, to love the way Christ loved his church and the women to submit the same way that the son submits to the father, that as we flourish in this, we get the honor of reflecting not just your image, but the story of the gospel. We pray for the unity of marriage. We pray for the unity of the sexes, God, that the world is trying to divide, but you have come to mend what is broken. So we pray over the church that you would begin to heal marriages, you would begin to heal the wounds that the sexes, this divide of the sexes has brought on. We pray, God, that you would heal, that you would heal wounds, that you would start to stitch up what the enemy has tried to tear apart in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Well, I'm just gonna end with testifying about this because I spoke of some of the experiences I had in church so that those that were listening understand, I know what that pain feels like, but on the other side, when you say submitted,

do you know the greatest discipleship and empowerment have been from male leaders? Male leaders inside of the house of God. My husband has been one of the greatest champions of women I have ever seen in my life. When I said, I'm gonna sit in the back, I'm not even sitting in the front row, and I'm gonna support you in ministry from way back there, he was the one calling me forward, investing into me, not just defending me, investing, discipling, empowering me, pushing me forward, and not just me, but an entire slew of women. I mean, so many women, spiritual daughters, in and through Mercy Culture, and so the last words could not just be of some of my bad experiences that I've had in church because I believe the same bad experiences can happen outside of the church because we're man and we're not perfect, but I've also received the greatest love, support, discipleship, and empowerment from inside of the church. And so don't allow the enemy, because a couple of bad experiences, to tell you that the house of God is bad or oppressive because the enemy wants to take one or two experiences to say, look at the feminist movement, they're right when it's human nature and we all make mistakes. It takes humility and it takes submission.
