God Will Run You Down | Richard Lorenzo Jr.
“The God You’re Running From Is Running After You” — Pastor Richard Lorenzo
The message centers on the truth that people may run from God because of fear, shame, guilt, disobedience, disappointment, or feeling unworthy, but God does not stop pursuing them. Instead of abandoning those who run away, God lovingly pursues them, calling them back into relationship, repentance, healing, and purpose. The message emphasizes that what we may be trying to escape—God’s presence, conviction, calling, or correction—may actually be the very thing God is using to restore us and bring us into the life He intended for us.

everybody goes home and the lights get turned off or disciples are being made people's lives are being transformed people are being delivered and healed and set free and becoming disciples of Jesus Christ and we get to show you through a video what that looks like amen do y'all want to see it come on I'm excited to see it go ahead play the video so I grew up Jewish and never really believed in it never really knew God growing up and I actually became an atheist after a while after that I got into weed and psychedelics and stuff and so I was experiencing spiritual things but I still didn't know God later on I was looking into Hinduism, Buddhism pretty much every religion it wasn't until I started all kinds of things like archaeological evidence for the Bible and things like that where I actually was like put on a journey where I then ended up experiencing Jesus I was actually working on a a platform that I owned up in Maine when I had my encounter and I eventually sold my business and really just spent my life from that point just like seeking God I had a friend who pretty much got saved with me and he ended up sending me a stream of the rock and once I saw it I was like oh yeah I know that's like that's like what I'm like reading about in the book of Acts it drew me going to my church on Sunday serving and then I was coming home and I was getting fed by like the sermons by Ridge. They take discipleship to like a whole other level here where like you're put in like groups and you have like leaders that you can like contact pretty much at any time. Or like some other churches you have to like fill out a form and like months later a leader will get back to you to like discuss what's going on or like try to help you like here. It's like you have your leaders contact info and like they want to help you and like pour into you. There's so many like spiritual landmines that like I've avoided because like my leaders cared enough to like tell me about certain things that they experienced that they like saw me like about to walk into and then like I was able to avoid through like through their discipleship. So when you're sowing into the rock, you're sowing into souls being saved. You're sowing into people being freed, healed, delivered. You're sowing into evangelism. You're sowing into revivals. And like it's it's absolutely incredible. Like I've seen thousands of lives changed since I've been here for two years. Every every altar called there's like at least 50 people up there giving their lives to Christ. Like every time we go out and evangelize people are getting saved baptized on the spot delivered healed and it's it's absolutely incredible. And well this is just the beginning of what God's doing here. So like I think we're about to see like like nationwide
revival like even more than that. Come on get Jesus some glory man. Come on let's give Jesus praise. Wow. Wow. That's what God is doing here. You heard him. You heard all the key words he said. I saw it online. It was discipleship. I was reading in the book of Acts and I saw what was happening here and that's what's happening in the book of Acts. Those are all key words my brothers and sisters. The Lord was been ministering to me about Matthew 6 verse 21. And Jesus says where your heart where your treasure is there your heart lies also. When I started praying for the giving where I started praying for the hearts to for people to give the Lord shows me I'm like it's like I plead with God. Like God helped them give and he was showing me he was like they vow everybody value something and in their value that's where they give. Some people have no problem going to Starbucks and paying ten dollars for a cup of coffee. No problem because they value what's in that cup. No problem spending fifty grand on a car quarter million on a house because they value it but then when it comes to the house of God there's a lack of value in the house of God. If only you knew what was going to happen generations from now you would give on to the house of God. If you open the word and saw the wisdom that you're receiving from it you would read more. If only you knew what was happening in the spirit when you prayed you would pray more but the problem is you don't value it. So it's not a God problem. It's not a salvation discipleship problem. It's at the children of God. We need to check our hearts on what we value. Jesus said what your treasure is there your heart lies also there's a connection between the treasure and the heart but then they say that it's our problem it was my message that didn't trick that didn't give you the encouragement to give. No it's not about me it's not about God it's about you and then we need to check our hearts when it comes to giving because we value many things but we need to value the house of God hallelujah hallelujah. So we're gonna we're gonna give tonight because I don't want this to become like an emotional giving. I want this to be worship onto God. Giving is worship onto God. You're supposed to give in private pray in private and fast and private. Those are three disciplines that we should learn as believers but the three things that those things have in common is your heart because you can fast all day but it wasn't onto the glory of God. You can pray all day and it wasn't onto the glory of God. You can give all day and it's not onto the glory of God but it's about your heart body of Christ. Amen. So right now we're gonna close our eyes and we're gonna posture our hearts because I want us to give and let this giving be worship. Let it be a sweet smelling aroma onto Abba and that he received it
in the throne room like my children just gave and let him be pleased with it. So Father we just thank you. We just thank you God. We've been thanking you and we're just gonna continue to thank you. Father I pray that whatever is in our hearts that doesn't allow us to value you in your house in your word in your presence to be removed and that we align we choose to right now we make the free willing decision to align ourselves right now and to see the value in the kingdom and to see the value and souls being won in discipleship. we posture ourselves, and we give unto you, Lord, and let this be a sweet smell in the aroma, sweet smell in the aroma that you receive as worship. We bless this here tonight, Lord, in your name, in Jesus' name, in the church that's together. Amen, and amen, and amen, and amen. Hallelujah. These are the ways that you can give. Right now, if you guys wanna pull up the next slide, I wanna give you guys, look at this. So, let me break these numbers down for you because you see the numbers, but to put it into perspective. So in June, we were at a little over 200,000 views. Now we're at 600,000 views. That's 600,000 seeds that are being planted, okay? In June, there are 110 souls saved. We're at 223 souls saved. And then, I don't know if it's on the next slide, but we have an online discipleship cohort course. Now we have over 2,000 joined up for our discipleship. So they're getting discipled inside the prisons. (audience applauding) Man, we are just so humbled and moved for what the Lord is doing. Here's some testimonies. We receive mail, physical mail, and when I tell you, I sit in the office and I cry. It is just so amazing what the Lord is doing, and I wanna share just really quick one testimony. There is a gentleman, an older gentleman who's been in and out of prison his entire life.
And he wrote to Pastor Richard and Pastor Carlene, and he said that because they watch the services in the discipleship teachings on Tuesdays and Sundays, we upload those as well. He was watching it on his tablet, and he said that I've never been baptized in the Holy Ghost. I've never spoken tongues. So Pastor Richard did an author call, and it was one of the times where the Holy Spirit was just moving and we had people coming up and people were getting hands laid on in the physical. So please understand how you worship here, they see all of that. It goes in those four walls and it's touching people. So he said he took his tablet while Pastor Richard was praying, put it on his head and got baptized in the Holy Ghost. So please hear me, when you worship in this room, you have no idea what it's doing in the realm of the Spirit. Okay, so keep praying that revival will continue to just move throughout the country in the prison system. Amen, so please welcome, help me welcome, Pastor Richard. (audience cheering) (gentle music) Let's stand up and let's just worship for a second. (gentle music) (gentle music) This song is so important to me. I remember the day of my salvation, right? When we know this world is fleeting and it matters, nothing, nothing matters, because we can't even take it with us when we die, why do people chase the things of the world because they're looking for God and they don't even know it? They're looking for something to fulfill them and nothing in the world's fulfilling them, but they keep on going because they have no direction to God. What is God saying in that moment? It's not taking something from the scriptures and bringing it into a moment that God never wanted you to bring it into. When we read the scriptures,
we should know what's going on in that moment to know the heart of God in that moment, in that passage. So when we go out in public and we talk about God, we reveal the heart of the Father in moments with our family members and friends in restaurants and in stores and in different places. kids at home because people need to hear about Jesus. It's not about me anymore. This is why I'll go after a restaurant when I'm tired and go preach the gospel. Like I'm preaching a sermon to a lady who's waiting for me. Am I tired? Yes. Can I go home and sleep? Yes. Can I justify it? Yes. But the Holy Spirit wants me to go and talk to someone who's waiting at Crane's Roost Park and gives me a vision of her. And I go and she's the only one there. And people are so, they want their own life to be glorified, bro. What do we do this Christian stuff for? To get glory and success down here? Are we flipping it over now to the Christian side? Well, I didn't make it in the secular so now let me make it in the Christian side. From my own glory, is that what we're doing it for now? You don't need a platform to be that way. We got to realize that we have been saved. We have been saved and we were supposed to go to hell. All of us, all of us, I was talking to my mother today about this, saying, "Mom, I wasn't perfect before I'm still not perfect. I fall short. I need Jesus. I need Jesus. I need him. I'm just grateful that I've been saved and I'm supposed to get locked up or killed and you know this." And my mother knows this and she gets emotional because she knows. And it's only God who saved the black sheep of the family and he used my me as a way to bring them in. Now, I didn't do it. He did it through me. I didn't ask for this. It's the goodness of God. This is why I preached the gospel. I don't preach the gospel to go viral on the internet. I preach the gospel because I know the Father wants me to do it because he cares about his lost children. And then my perfect, even in my heart posture all the time, no. I was repenting today. Literally, we're downtown preaching for four hours. Broke my heart when I saw a woman in the line as I'm walking by, she goes, "Hey, I know you and I come by." And I'm like, "Hey, what's up?" She's like, "My husband watches you online and I watch you online. Is she here tonight? I hope she's here tonight." No, the one I'm talking about. She's probably not. And it broke my heart and she left the line. And she's telling me her husband is in the army and all these things and that she's a bad wife. And she's doing the wrong things. And I prayed for her and she starts manifesting a demon, but she doesn't get delivered because she didn't want to renounce it. She didn't want to repent. And she wanted to go back in the club to find her friend, knowing she's wrong. Guys, we have free will to accept the invitation or not. We think that God is this mean God who just brings wrath on people. Yeah, I don't know the heart of the Father. Oh, but the Old Testament God's different than the New Testament. You don't know God if you're talking like that.
He's the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Listen to me. I have a whole message about this I'm going to get into. God has not changed. Even under the old covenant, he was recklessly bringing his people back. That's why he would rise up prophets. A prophet is not someone who could read your phone number. A prophet is a mouthpiece of God to communicate the heart of the Father to an area. Someone who God puts a burden on to suffer. To go release his emotion to his people. That's what a prophet is. And that's why he rose up by Zea. And that's why he rose up Ezekiel and Hosea and all these people is to release. What was saving a soul under the old covenant? A wise man wins souls as an Old Testament Bible verse. Jesus had not completed the works on the cross in the physical realm yet. So what did it mean to win a soul under the old covenant? It wasn't preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was bringing someone back on the pathway of following God. And when the Israelites would veer off and start worshiping idols, God would rise the prophets to win the souls back to following him. It's the same thing today. Winning a soul is not just, I'm gonna baptize somebody, whoo, that's it, no. It's even the Christian who's downtown Orlando, who is filled with the spirit, who's going to the idols and saying, "Come back to following your first real love on the narrow." That's also winning a soul. (congregation applauding) You talk to somebody who's in fornication at the mall. How many people have ever evangelized? And you go to someone and they're in fornication,
in your face, you know it, they're with their girlfriend or boyfriend, and you ask them, "Do you believe Jesus is your Lord and Savior?" And they say, "Yes." How many people have experienced that? Let's be real. And then it gets awkward and you don't know what to say, right? You know what winning a soul in that moment would be? Explaining what fornication is to them so that they repent. It might not be inviting them into salvation, but it's inviting them into repentance. (congregation applauding) Are you willing to do it? 'Cause not many are in the name of love, right, Gabe? In the name of love, it's a false Jesus in the church nowadays. I was just talking about it with my brother, Gabe, who literally died and went to heaven and met Jesus. That was here to come out soon, a false Jesus. Well, that's not love telling someone to repent of fornication. And that's mean, is it that you don't say when needs to be said and when they stand before God, they get casted into the lake of fire. 'Cause what starts happening when you do the small things? Fornication leads to worse and worse and worse things. Bro, you don't know that this is a war? You think God's a mean God? God wants us to change and turn to him
because he loves us. He's created everything with his word. So everything that follows his word will receive the blessings of God. But everyone who doesn't follow the word, will judge them and guess what's right? They're accusing people using the word of God, demons. And then people get mad at us. You're religious, you're controlling. Okay, you say what you gotta say when we stand before God on judgment day. We will know, but the great thing about it is you can know now, if this is not the word, then I'll stop preaching. Does the Bible say to flee from fornication? Or does it say to flee from fornication only in certain situations? It says flee from forn. That means run fast away from fornication. That's sex outside of marriage. You will not hear most pastors preach this on a pulpit. And I'll preach this every service to the day I die if God wants me to. You should not be having sex outside of marriage. You should be celibate and waiting for your God-ordained spouse. And that's actually the way to follow God. That's actually supposed to be cool. That's kingdom culture. The world tells you opposite.
What's so hard, it might be hard in this world, but the spirit of God already overcame everything that you see in the world. Through Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross. What He did on the cross. What He did on the cross overcame all that. He resurrected to give us power. It's not just power to cast out devils. It's also power to change internally. I was changed on the inside out. The person I was before Christ is not the person I am now. And it's because of the grace of God, not me. And I will continue to weep on my face and go to God and depend on God every single day. I will depend on Him in His world. I will depend on Him in prayer. Not because of a sermon preparation. Not because I gotta go preach on a social media platform. But because I need Him. It's just extra food if I gotta do it for a preparation of a sermon or a podcast. That's just extra credit. That's just some dessert on top of my meal. But I don't do it for those things. I do it because I need Him for real because He changes me. I read His word. I get revelation. My mind renews. Which allows my heart to be confronted.
And in the spirit of God and me we partner together. And He cleans me up. My partnership is saying, holy goes, I need you because internally. Just do whatever needs to be done so I don't desire this thing anymore. This is why, oh my gosh, it bothers me when I see Christians who have such a powerful calling on their life. 25 years still, Christian dealing with porn. How? Are you trying to stop the porn in your own strength? Are you getting mad at yourself when you fall or are you running to God saying, "God, I need you"? Is God even mad at you? No. God's not mad at you. He's saying, "Come to me son and daughter and cry out to me and fasten and pray to me and let me change you." He will. I'm a mascot for the kingdom of God, of someone who was gone. That God changed. So you can't stand before me and say, "You don't get it, pastor. Yes, I do." I was worse than you. We can have a talk outside of a microphone. I'll talk to you about the things I did that will probably make you feel uncomfortable. And I'll tell you the goodness of God. His spirit changed me, bro. His spirit delivered me. His spirit healed me. So what did you do, pastor? I cried on my face and fastened and prayed and got in the Word and kept going and saying, "God, I need you." And he kept changing me because he's faithful. Don't let the devil keep justifying the things in your mind. It's a possible man and woman to God. It's a possible through him. You could do all things are what? All things are what? Through who? You don't get it. It's impossible. No, that's a lie from Satan. It is possible through Christ. Not through you. So the problem might be you're trying to do it in your own strength instead of going to God. Maybe you haven't been taught that you have to actually get on your face and cry out to God. Maybe you haven't been taught that you actually have to get in your Word to renew your mind, to expose the hard issues and go to God and go to church and get prayed for by an elder and go to a prayer meeting and bust out a corporate fast and do all these things that God gives us. This artillery, these spiritual weapons so that you can grow in the faith. Maybe someone never told you. But tonight, here's your answer. You've been wanting to know how to break through. This is it. You can go to 10 million church services, but if you don't personally decide to do church on your own... Because what's the church? Is it a building? It's you. We're the church. I was praying that God did it. I was crying. I said, "God, I don't want no building if we're going to idolize a building. I don't want people patting me on my back because we got a building. Put us back in the streets, Lord, if that's your will. I like the building because they got AC and nice lights and stuff like that, but I don't need it, though. I want to bring pastors that are watching right now online, higher in Christ. Because I've heard this. I feel like the Lord was speaking to me about this in prayer earlier and wanted me to release this for people watching online.
Pastors. Leaders in the body of Christ. So many pastors think that they don't have to go evangelize. So many pastors think that's for the outreach team of my church and almost hand it down to the newer believers like it's a newer believer ministry. And I can say, "Thus says the Lord. You need a repent." And he's saying this to you in love. The pastor is the shepherd that's supposed to be in the streets getting the sheep. The pastor is the one who's supposed to be leading the flock in evangelism and outreach. I'll pass and I'm not boasting in me in my own strength. I'm not boasting like I'm better than you. I'm not. I just have revelation from God that I want you to receive. Religion has taught you otherwise. Religion has taught you that you don't need to do that, that's a baby ministry. No, that's the... You know what's baby? You know what's immature? Preaching on a pulpit, but you don't preach out the Starbucks. That's immaturity. And I say this to bring you higher in Christ. Let the strongholds break. Cry out to God and ask Him to help you because He will. Because God is doing something right now. There's a revival breaking out. And anyone who's willing, "Oh, I'm telling you, God's going to move through your vests on the streets." It's the Lord who goes to reach the lost right, but He can't do it without you. He needs you to go. Can He do anything He wants? Yes. But what does His word say? How can someone hear the God? He won't go against his word. He could do whatever he wants. He's showing up to Muslims and dreams. The Bible talks about that too in the last days. But the Lord wants people to go out so he can preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through your vessel to others so they can be saved. And it's not that hard.
It's actually simple faith. Y'all with me? - Yes. - And I'll say this again, it's not just for pastors either, it's for everybody, it's for the body of Christ. For the new believer, to the 25-year Christian. If you were evangelizing as a new believer, but now that you've been saved for 10, 15 years, and you've stopped evangelizing, if that's you, be real and raise your hand. You've been saved for a minute and now you think you're, like, come on, raise your hand if that's been you. It's time to repent. Oh, but prophets don't evangelize. Have you read about prophets in the Old Testament? Where do they go? They went to the streets. You want to prophesy on a mic, but then you won't prophesy on the streets. Come on, man, let's change. Let's break that thing in America so we can see a revival party even more. (audience applauding) It's a demonic spirit. Psalm 236, y'all ready? And some people will say, man, this is some harsh teaching. It's a conviction and condemnation. It's the individual. I preach the truth.
If you get convicted, God will take you higher in Him. You get condemned. That's lies from Satan to make you feel like you're not worthy. God sees you and says you are worthy, you're his son, you're his daughter. So you need to take correction and take truth and let it bring you higher in Him. Let it help you ascend in Christ. Faith to faith in glory to glory. Condemnation is because there's an area of your heart or mind that needs to be renewed or cleaned because maybe authority figures in your life treated you wrong. Don't let this condemn you. Let this lift you higher, knowing that you're not a terrible person. You need Jesus. I need Jesus. I was repenting today and I was reaching out to pastors at trust and sending them voice messages of my repentance. Saying God, 'cause God's showing me. He said, son, you go out and evangelize and you do love the people but you see it as a game, as a sport. And I do and I was like, dang, God, I do. I love to go out and fish for men and I love it. And it's fun and all these things. And he says, son, but do you see my heart?
My heart is in desperation to reach the loss. I want you to partner with that even more. And I've reached out to pastors repenting, asking for prayer, getting delivered before I even came up here to preach. I don't care. I will repent before all of you. 'Cause it's not me, it's him. Do I enjoy evangelism? It is a fun it is. But the forefront of my heart has to stay pure with my motives being his motives, which is to go reach the loss for real, for real. It's because I'm graced to do it. I can't even get too comfortable because then I'll start, he'll be using me and my heart's not even in it. And then I'll stand before him at the beam of seat judgment and get no rewards for what I did because I wasn't even partnering with him. A pastor who doesn't repent, I wouldn't even follow. Remember that. Everyone falls short, right? So is my sin less worse than yours for the person I might be in fornication? No. Same. Sin is sin in the eyes of God. Oh, but your sin is like, you know, event? No, it's the same thing as someone who's in fornication.
I need the blood of Jesus, just like you do. And let me be an example to you. You need to go to God and repent and receive that breakthrough. Only comes from his power. Amen. How many of y'all feel encouraged right now? Amen, be encouraged. Psalm 23, six, look at this. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. So that word for follow and the Hebrew is the word radaf. We think follow in this scripture 'cause it's Psalm 23 means a gentle word. I'm here to tell you, it's a hunting term. It's a military word. It means to chase, to pursue and to run down. How many of y'all in the world have it been? Or hopefully not now, but been in a fight and you chase someone down. How many have ever done that? Well, you're fighting someone who did you wrong and you're winning the fight and you chase them now 'cause you want to stomp them out, right? That's wrong, repent. But what I'm saying is this. So look at this, I'm gonna read it again. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
So God's goodness and mercy is chasing you down to beat you up with His love. Think about my sons and my daughters, when they get old enough if they widen out in the streets, I'm gonna chase them down and smack them a little bit. Come home, oh that's, you're being a bad father. Am I really, am I really being a bad father by chasing them down and saying, come here, I love you and stop doing that? What if my son's crossing the street and a car's coming and he's not paying attention 'cause he's all over there with the hands and his pants and I say, Richard get over here, I smack him and throw him to the ground. Does that mean I love him and I'm saving his life? And that's how God loves you. His mercy and his goodness will chase you down. Like a car coming to hit you and him knocking you to the ground to wake up. (congregation clapping) We see it, Genesis 14, Abram, before he was Abraham, he rapped offs the four kings all the way to the Dan to get Lot back. Abraham chased them down to get his friend, his family member, Lot back, that he loves so much. Exodus 14, 14 about Oferro, his army rodaf, Israel. Remember when the Egyptians were following or chasing down the Israelites when they were going across the Red Sea? They were chasing them down to kill them.
And that's what it says, they were following them. It's the word rodaf, same word. Joshua 10, pursue your enemies, attack their rear guard and do not let them enter their cities. That's also the word rodaf for pursue. It's a man on a horse behind a man on a foot. David is the man that used this word and he used it more than anybody in the Bible. What if I told you over the 20 times that David used the word rodaf for pursue or follow? It wasn't talking about God, it was talking about his enemies, Saul coming to kill him. And he only uses it once to reference God in Psalm 23 when he says that God's goodness and mercy are pursuing him. The most hunted man in the Bible said the only thing that ever really caught him was mercy. And mercy is the word hest in the Hebrew, which means covenant love, love that made a vow and keeps the vow even after you break yours. How many people came to Christ where I'm fired for God and you went back sliding in the world like crazy, be real. Did God not chase you down? Did God not rodaf you? Let's talk him to a pastor friend of mine, crazy testimony in New York. On fire for 15, 10 years or whatever it was in evangelist, doing all these great things, casting out devils, goes through a whole bunch of crazy situations and goes to alcohol, becomes the town drunk,
committing adultery on his wife, wife leaves him and God redoughed him and brought him back and restored him. And now he's one of the generals in his end times leading revival all around the world. That's crazy, when he told me that story just revealed the mercy of God. I love those testimonies, not because of the person but because of what God did in that person's life. It shows me more of who he is. Like man, God, you'll chase me down. I'm not going backslide in Jesus' name, but if I did, you would chase me down. You love me and you know that does, it brings me higher to not want to backslide. 'Cause I know how much he loves me. So I want to talk about the geography of Psalms 23. Verse two, when it says the shepherd's leads, he's in front. Verse four, he walks with you through the valley, he's beside. And verse six, goodness and mercy come behind you. So you're boxed in by grace. He's ahead of you, he's next to you. And his mercy is coming from the back to chase you down. You can't even outrun him. When Jewish scholars translated Psalm 23 into Greek two centuries before Jesus, for to hunt down and to chase to the end, and that Greek word is "diacal." You know what that word means in Greek? Persecute. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake. Same word.
Saul saw, "Why are you persecuting me?" Same word. So Saul was persecuting Jesus, and he came and persecuted him on thy road to Damascus, and binded him and knocked him out that horse. He hit him like, "Yoke him up." He yoked up Jacob too, and he started limping with it. Jacob was like, "Man, I'm a rescue to you, bless me." He's like, "Oh, all right. You don't even know I've been chasing you down, buddy." God is real, bro. I'm going to deal with a lie again that most of you have walked in here carrying. At the God of the Old Testament is angry and distant and quick to give up or quick to destroy, and then when Jesus came in the New Testament, he calmed God down. Like Jesus is like, "Hey, Father, just chill out. You're too mean." Even though they have the same character, nature, and essence, and they're equal. Jeremiah 7, 25 says, "Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt, until this day I have even sent to you all my servants and prophets, daily rising up early and sending them, daily rising up early and sending them." Second Chronicles 36, 15 says, "And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by his messengers rising up early and sending them because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place." So God rising up prophets even under the old covenant, rising up early. When you rise up early for something, that's the most important thing to you in the day. And God would rise up early and send out messengers, send out prophets. So rising up early is the Hebrew word shakam. It's a household word. It's what Abraham did the morning God told him to go to Mariah. He rose up early to do what? It's a sacrifice, his son. It's what Moses did to build the altar. It's the farmer at first light. It's the father who was awake before the children are. You rise early for the thing that matters the most. And Jeremiah does something that no other prophet does. He takes that word and makes God the subject of it 11 times in the book of Jeremiah rising up early and sending, rising up early and speaking, rising up early and teaching. Every prophet Judah ever ignored was a pre-drawn dispatch from God in heaven. So all the people that got sent to teach the Torah, to teach, to preach, they thought it was just a man, but it was God revealing himself through the man to them because of his love. So to God want them to go through plagues and destruction and gentile nations coming to this room, do you think God wanted that? He didn't, but they wouldn't listen. So God would first rise up the prophet to preach with boldness in the streets where the people were in rebellion
before he would come. Do you get it? This is what God is doing in his last hour in America. He wants America, the people of America, the Christians in America to repent and turn to him. He's rising people up all around the nation to do that. This is the grace of God. It's not the person being idolized. It's the one from heaven who sent that person to go do his will. That's who we should be looking at. So again, second chronicles, again, the motive rising up early and sending them because he had compassion on his people. So again, why did God send Isaiah compassion? Why did he send Jeremiah compassion? Ezekiel, Hosea, Amos, Micah, because a father was up early. And what happened, they mocked the messengers. This is what the people did. They mocked the messengers, despised his work, The judgment came last, and it came after decades of God who got up early to send someone else to them. So the angry Old Testament God, you were warned about, spent 400 years sending letters before he ever sent an army. Exodus 32, Israel builds the golden calf. Moses comes down, shatters the tablets, 3,000 died. It is the worst moment in Israel's history, and Moses goes back up the mountain and says, "Show me your glory." And here's what God says about himself. The first time in scripture, God describes his own character in one sentence, Exodus 34, 6. The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. So right after the golden calf, they've got freed them out of Egypt and they rise up a golden calf 'cause they couldn't wait.
And Moses comes down and destroys the tablets, pissed off and goes back up and says, "God, show me your glory." Moses is saying, "I don't know what's going on. "Let me experience you in a way "that would help me get through this. "God, show me your glory. "I don't know what's going on with these people." And then God describes himself to Moses because Moses was probably fearful. Moses was probably thinking, "Oh my God, he's gonna destroy us." And God says, "Don't worry, let me describe who I am to you." Everyone say, "God is good." (congregation laughing) And that sentence becomes the Bible's creed. It is the most repeated description of God inside the Bible itself. Moses quotes it back to God in Numbers 14. Nehemiah quotes it after the exile. David quotes it in Psalm 86 and 103. Joel quotes it. Micah quotes this whole book with it. Every time Israel wanted to say who God is, they reached for a mercy sentence. That's us guys. When we fall short, we should reach for that. God, this is who you are. I want this version of you 'cause that's who you are. Any other version is not you.
You're long suffering. You see all the things I'm doing, but you're quick to forgive me. You love me, God, I need you. Everyone say dependence. Do you know who else quotes it? Jonah. I know that you are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant and loving kindness. Jonah 4-2. And you know what he says it as? A complaint. So Jonah didn't run from Nineveh because he doubted God's mercy, he ran because he was sure of it. Jonah was a hater. Jonah was self-righteous. Jonah didn't want Nineveh to have that grace and mercy, but he wanted it for himself. 'Cause to believe that God is merciful and still disobeying what he's saying, he must have some crazy revelation of God's mercy. Just swallow it up and finally realize it's okay, I'll go. Now watch how God pursues in the Old Testament. Look at this, Adam and Genesis 3, what happens? He sins, he hides in the trees and the first thing God says to a fallen human being. The first question in the Bible is not, get out where I'm done with you. Where are you? Did Adam know, did God know what Adam did?
So couldn't he have been like, oh, you failed? I'm done with you, you, you, you. He comes down and says, where are you at? Where are you? My son, where are you at? We've been good this whole time, look, where are you? What happened? Like a father does a son. Jacob and Genesis 32, a liar and a schemer running from his brother and God meets him in the darkness and wrestles him until daybreak. And Jacob says, I will not let you go unless you bless me. Again, he had that backwards. He had been running his whole life and God finally caught him and would not let him go. And because of that, he limped for the rest of his life. So he would remember who actually won. David after Bathsheba, right, in Uriah. David goes silent for close to a year trying to cover up that sin. He literally got one of his, his war generals, one of the people in his army that were hot. Yeralia, he took his wife and got her pregnant and tried to hide the sin and he tried to hide it for over a year so he gets an innocent man killed in battle because he's trying to hide up the sin of sleeping with his wife and getting her pregnant. Did God just say, "You know what, I'm done with David. "You hit that sin for a whole year?
"I'm gonna kill you or I'm done with you." How many people in here would do that if that happened to you? But let me show you the nature of God. What does God do? He sends a prophet. Then the Lord sent Nathan to David, 2 Samuel 12, 1. God sent a prophet to the front door of the king's palace, bro. Everyone say God is good. Jonah flees from the presence of the Lord so God curls the storm, appoints a fish, appoints a plant, appoints a worm, appoints a wind five times. The text says God appointed something to catch one man. Jonah is the only prophet in the Bible who ran and God chased him with weather. Israel, herself, the nation of Israel, Amis 4, God lists what he's sent to bring them back. Famine, trout, plague, blight, and even overthrow by neighboring pagan nations and after every single one, the same line five times, yet you have not returned to me. So every hardship in that list was a letter from a father and they left all five unopened. You know how many people I meet that are? They say I used to follow God and then all these bad things started happening in my life so I don't believe in God now. We think the bad things happening in our life is God hating us or not being real. No, it's God calling us higher in him.
He wants us to repent and turn to him so we can receive the good things of God. The Bible says that God will never, he'll never tempt, but he'll allow the test. So is there demonic temptation there is? You think God is laughing up there like, "Yeah, go ahead and go through it." No, we live in a fallen world and we got to go through this life, but God is calling you higher in him so that the temptation becomes a testimony. He wants you to overcome that temptation and put the devil under your feet. You don't think that God wants you to flex on the devil and say, "Yeah, I trust in God and not you and now you're under my feet and I'm not going to that sin no more because I'm not weak 'cause he's giving me the strength to get through it. I used to be weak without God, but now that I got God, I got real strength that's more powerful than yours because he defeated you. You don't think God wants you to flex like that? I have a son. I want my son to flex like that when he says, "My dad taught me how to play ball one day when he's good. I have a daughter that'd be like, one day when a guy tries to come holler at her and wilding out a cute guy in school
that's finessing and seducing all the girls, she goes, "Man, you don't know my dad, my dad taught me all your games." That's all my daughters are going to be, real gangster with it. Because I'm a teacher and everything, how men talk, how they think, so that they could actually marry a good man that loves Jesus. I'm going to show you, I'm going to teach them what it is to be real. And they're going to be around a whole bunch of soldiers that they're going to grow up with, not just their dad, that are real too. So when they step out in the world, they're going to be like, "Oh, you don't know my dad, you don't know my uncles, you don't know my brothers, you don't know what's going like, trust me, I know what's real." That's what I want. This is why the body of Christ is so important. I can't do it on my own. God didn't ordain me to do it on my own. He'll dame me to do it with a family. That's what we can't be lone rangers, guys. How many are bored right now? How many are receiving right now? This is the word of the Lord. I came to feed y'all. Eat.
Some of y'all got food right in front of you and you're not eating. Listen to the word of the Lord and let it change you and stop being boring Christ. And then you wonder why you're seeing no fruit in your life 'cause you're not receiving the word. Wake up. This is a foot washing place. This is a discipleship center. You ain't in high school or middle school where you didn't want to know, this is food and teaching for you to actually grow to know the highest power. Who's invincible but all around at the same time? Are you crazy? Bro, like pay attention, sis. Pay attention. You might just experience God. Don't you want that? Every Christian I evangelize to in the industry. Every Christian that says, oh yeah, I love Jesus, I believe in Jesus. And that's not really following God. You know what they lack? Experience. I say, okay, you love God. I was raised in the church. I've been baptized. I'm like, okay, cool. Have you ever supernaturally experienced God in the way most of the time?
No. And you don't know him. You can't stand before God and say, but God, I went to an altar and got baptized and did what you told me and my mom told me to do. He's gonna say, I never knew you. You know how you get to know God? Want me to help you? Who wants to, let's be right now. Let's repent. Who genuinely feels like that to them. And they're like, man, I want to experience God and I haven't, like I should raise your hand. That's beautiful, good. Stand up if that's you. I believe God's gonna honor this. And I'm gonna give you the key. 'Cause the Lord's been speaking about this thing to me like for the last few weeks. That's real. Good, I commend you. Praise God, that's amazing. Nobody's mad at you. I'm not talking down on you. I don't think you're terrible. I don't think you're a Pharisee. I think that you came here tonight because you wanted something more and you don't want to keep faking it, right? Okay, this is how you experience God.
You desperately seek Him. So what does it mean to seek Him? Okay, please listen to me. Does seeking mean, okay, I gotta come to church? It could be, it could be church. All the stuff that you do, church, reading the Bible, praying, all that stuff is beautiful. But the heart is what seeks. It's the heart. Have you ever desperately wanted to do something in life? Were you a Hooper? You pay basketball? Did you at one point desperately want to make it to the NBA? Be real. What did you desperately want to do in your life? Come to the front, bro, come here. Come here. Y'all can stay standing. And if you feel like you want you to stand up, stand up. If you're in this place, this is not me looking at you saying good job. This is the Lord watching you as you stand up in repentance. What's your name, bro? Amir. What have you desperately desired to do in your life? Since you were a kid, whatever. At one point, it was basketball, but it changed. It was basketball, right? How old were you when you looked at basketball? Or were you where you wanted to make it?
Probably like, I would say 15, 16. What was the first time you picked up a basketball? I really, I don't remember. Okay, you don't remember, right? But the first time you picked up a basketball, did you really in your mind think you were gonna get good? Yeah. You have faith, right? But did you know how to shoot? When you first picked up a basketball? No. You shot Bobby, I used to shoot with two hands. 'Cause you make a left-hand layup, probably jumped off the wrong foot and everything ugly, right? But then you had to learn. And what happened when you started getting better at basketball? You go with it. What happened when you started getting better at basketball? You started to love it more, right? Yeah. Because now you're hooping, and now you're making shots. Now they can't guard you and you might have been dunking, whatever it is, and you're like, man, you start feeling good. Now you realize, I'm better. Oh my God, I've gotten better. But it had to start off with you picking up a basketball and going to practice, and I probably missed a million shots. Probably even got made fun of.
Probably got beat one-on-one, probably got beaten games, probably for me, I didn't make the basketball team every single sixth, seventh, and eighth grade, and ninth grade. And that drove me to even want to practice more, 'cause I wanted to make it, 'cause I knew I was good enough. That's how it is in Christ. You're picking up a basketball for the first time, and you're not gonna be like Joel over here who can maybe shoot a little better than you. Maybe he's playing high school ball, and you still are in fifth grade, you're in first grade picking up a basketball for the first time. Is that okay? Yes. So what does it mean to seek? It's to practice. You're gonna mess up. So I want to free you, and everybody else listening. You will mess up. I mess up. Everybody messes up. Just like in basketball, we miss shots, right? Everybody messes up. The key is getting back on the court and going back to practice.
This is seeking. You get up and you know I gotta pray today, and that prayer for 15 turns into 20 minutes, just like when you were on the court and you shot maybe five or six times. Now it became 20 or 30 'cause you started getting good. What's getting good in the spirit? You're praying and now you start seeing things happening in your life. You don't think the coach is gonna show you, "Hey, you prayed this, let me show you." He's gonna show you that you're level that you needed. And now you start seeing how my God is working. What does it cause you to do? I'm running back into prayer. And you come to church like this. What is he saying? Oh, the pastor said to fast. I'm gonna fast for my first time. I'm gonna pick up the door, whatever it is, bro. These are all weapons and tools I'm giving y'all to do it personally with God. As you do that, you will experience God and you will never be the same again. And that is you growing in maturity and faith, bro. Does it make sense? I just wanted you to come up as the example. Okay, you're healing? Be healed in Jesus' name. (congregation applauding) She don't need healing, she's kind of embarrassed probably.
I love you, listen. What do you want to say, bro, go ahead, talk to me. You good or you want to say something, come on. You good, you love nervous? Nah, you good now, amen. (congregation applauding) God bless you. (congregation applauding) So I'm gonna pray for everyone standing up. So again, if you know that this is you and you want to stand up, stand up, I'm gonna pray for you, the Lord's gonna watch you, stand up in repentance. So Father, I thank You, Lord, for Your children that are here who are being real, they don't want to keep doing their religious thing. Acting like they know You, but they really don't. They want to stand before You, and here You say, well done, my good and faithful servant. Well, they cast down their crowns to You and know that it was You did it through them anyways. So Holy Spirit, I pray that You would give them a desire in their heart to love You more than life itself. I pray that life would become so unattractive to them. And when I say life, I'm talking about life in the world, for the things of the world that become so to them. And they would start desiring the things of God because they're experiencing You. Father, you see their hearts, you see their physical repentance standing up,
You know, Lord. So I pray this all in Jesus' name and the church has together. Amen, hallelujah, let's give it up for the people. We stood up, man, that's awesome, man. That's what the church is about, getting real in the house of God. We ain't coming here to act like we got it all. Bruh. We all go through things. We all fall in short in some area, huh? Are we going to go higher in Him as we go to Him and He changes us? Who brought up all this alcohol? Who brought it up? What are you at? I hope it wasn't the lady that just left. I just fell. Is the person here who brought up all the bottles? Come up here, bro. (audience applauds) Let's go. Real repentance. Get that mic ready for me. (audience applauds) What's your name, bro? Xavier? Xavier? Rich, brought nice to meet you. What's your name? Kwan.
Rich, nice to meet you, bro. Where y'all from? Orlando. Orlando? Come on, you're on one side or another? No, we from there, we from Orlando. There's all y'all brought, come here, come here, come here. All y'all brought up all this? Together? Y'all? Yeah, for real? Talk to me. Why? Be real, too. And I meet you where you're at. You want to speak or you want to speak? All right, so I ran, this used to be my best friend when we was like this. Walk every day to middle school. Know each other high school. And end up going to college, split. Life happened. And I came downtown. It was the daytime. I was going to go get, like, I was going to go get like some brunch, some lunch, you know what I'm saying? We're two people. And I'm like, dang, I need some weed, like, you know? So as I'm walking, and I'm just walking, and I see a dude with an umbrella. Some of my mind was like, yo, he black.
Excellent. I know he know what a plug, yeah, you know what I'm saying? So I'm like, yo, you know, I get some weed. He turned around and I look, and I'm like, oh damn tripping. I know, I've been smoked a blunt before. I'm like, I'm just high right now. So I'm like, I'm thinking I see him a boy from when I was young. And then he looked at me, and I just turned around one more time, I dropped everything I had. And he like, bro, he dropped his stuff. You know, we just hugged it out. You know, but-- So you were looking for a plug, and it ended up being him. And it ended up being my best friend for when I was young, man. Is that here in Orlando? In downtown, we stayed downtown. OK. And then what happened after that? After that, man, I was telling what's going on, you know, what I got going on. And man, he was like, yo, bro, you know what? He said, instead of you going to pay all that money, you know what I'm saying? You down here, he said, yo, come to the crib. Come to the crib. I'd rather you stay here with me for free. You know what I'm saying? You paying $3,000, you know what I'm saying? I'll resort while you're here.
So-- things going, but while I'm there, it's like, since I've been there in the home, he has a roommate. And like, it was the energy that was dead, like, it was bad energy, it was a lot of hostility you can tell. So things just start breaking down in the house. While I'm there, his roommate come to talk to me, he come to talk to me, but it's separately. Somehow, I was the peacemaker in the house, and me and my boy been talking, and I'm like, yo, I was telling him what I got going on, and you know, I'm like, yo, I know God a little bit, but like, the stuff that, you know, we were doing, and I'm doing the same thing, and it's in this house, it ain't gonna end well, bro. So days go by, you know, we start talking about God, and you know, just little things, and we're still dabbing into what we do. - Yeah. - It just sorta happened that, I'm just like, I'm just gonna say a prayer, and I tell my boss, I'm encouraged you as your brother, but we were drunk while we were talking, but I knew what I was saying. And I just started crying, 'cause I'm like, yo, man, do everything I've gone through, and I have a younger brother named Mikey, but do everything I've gone through, and I sense I've been here, bro. Man, I feel you, I feel what you're going through,
and I've been going through the same, bro, and I'm like, yo, let's just pray. So man, I woke up one day, and instead of a blunt, like, we wake up, he got a Bible in the bed, and he speaks with the Bible. (audience applauds) - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Right, and from there, it just went from the Bible to like, you know what, I'm gonna go and pray on the couch. You know, so I was praying on the couch, and then I get a text message because I was actually praying for my boy, I was praying for both of us, but I was praying for my boy that we can get, you know, things right for his trucking business. - Yeah. - Man, I think I got a text message, I got a call, like, in the afternoon, and it was a dude, he was like, yo, I got a position open, but I need two people. He said, do you have somebody? - Well, I just, did I just say that? - And then I-- - I will start off right where you at, and then start answering and pray. You're freaking out, probably. - Yeah, bro, I actually was. I was like, yo, I can't wait to tell this dude. And I'm like, man, I finally tell him, I say, yo, you got to send us information, and so it happened forward. We got everything going, you know what I'm saying?
So, you know, by this week, you know, we should be on the road. But, you know, with this here, man, if only y'all would believe everybody in here, just like how you said you've done things, I have two, and I'm not perfect. I'm 25 years old. I should have been dead a long time ago, if I'm being honest. And I just thank God for mercy and grace that he gave me, bro. Seriously, you know what I'm saying? (audience applauding) And with this thing in here, bro, I was like, yo, bro, I told him about the church. I've been here, I got invited. Moses invited me like a month ago. I don't know if he's here. And I met, uh, where is he? I met him, I met him, my boy right there. And this is the other one that's in here who I dapped up. - Where you at? - And my boy right here. And there was another dude here, too. Not trying to be racist, but he's kind of like, look like he Chinese a little bit. (audience laughing) Yeah, man, one day I was here. I came, bro, and some guy had-- - It's about Nick, he's tall?
- Nah, he's like, he's short, you know, he got tattooed. He's one of those dudes you see on the movies, like, don't mess with him, you know what I'm saying? For real. But honestly, I came here, man. I came here one day and I was sitting right over there and, uh, man, I had nothing, bro. I had not even a dollar in my pocket to eat. And, uh, but I had weed. You know what I'm saying? So, man, I leave the service. I just sit in the car and I pray. And I'm just like, at the moment, even before that, I wanted to end myself. And I came and I found, I talked to him. I was like, bro, I need to talk to somebody right now, bro. Like, right now, you know what I'm saying? And, uh, I just kind of stuck to what he's saying and what he told me, bro. I told my boy about the church, bro, and I said, bro, as soon as I opened my eyes this morning on the couch, bro. And I was like, we're going to church today, bro. And I said, bro, we're taking the bottles. Let's go, bro. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, bro. (cheers and applause) This goodness and mercy ran you down, ran you down. This is just matching up with the message, bro. Go ahead.
I was going to say, uh... like in life, like honestly, like you were saying like the outside world we just wanna just get it to us. - Yeah, it's just like, you're starting to change. - Yeah, you know, all this just outside world we stuff, just what's going on in the world today is just something that's just not even worth just being a part of. Honestly, just God, we've been talking about God for a little minute and it's just more so just being head on just straight. - You can pray, you can pray to him, you know what I'm saying? But somebody once told me you gotta meet him halfway and this is where we starting that. - Yes, bro, you meet him halfway, bro. You give him even a step, he's gonna, he's coming in. - It's our testimony I guess, you know, be me to him. This is our testimony and I do believe and I feel deeply in my heart, man. I've been convicted since I ran into him, bro. Like, bro, y'all gotta start smoking and doing what y'all doing. And I just feel like this is what it is, you know, so just a little chopper for us, you know. - Yeah. - Let's go, man. - Outside of the liquor, outside of the liquor, that's like, like we liquor, females, all that stuff was just focusing on God right now. - John, man, come on, come on, let's pray for him. You're gonna pray for him. And everyone standing up, let's pray for them, man.
They made it, you see, I wanna say this and this is actual repentance. But God worked on y'all and brought y'all in slowly. He chased you down. That's what I'm preaching. He'll chase you down. Even when you feel like, dang, I don't know, he'll chase you down again. You feel like you want to off yourself to chase you down again and send brothers. It's, bro, and it all started when you were trying to cop weed from a plug, but ended up meeting the plug. Jesus, that's how it works, bro. Let's pray, come on, come on, dah, dah, dah. Come on, let me get some men up here to pray. Chase, come on, pray, lay hands on them. Let's pray for them, just bless them. I love it, brother. So, Father, we pray over our brothers 'cause when two comes to you, Lord, like this, there's a big party in heaven, Lord, and you're so pleased, I could feel your heart right now, Father, thank you, Lord. Blessed them, Lord, you've already blessed them, but blessed them with more grace, may grace be multiplied upon their hearts, Lord, and mercy and goodness, may you chase them down even more. Thank you, Lord, for the plans that you have for them, for the future, the blessings that you have for them and you, Lord, all you have so many blessings in you
for them, Lord, may it all come to pass, and we thank you and glorify you, and you get all the praise, Lord, and all the honor. Thank you for using Jamal, Barry, Moses, the Asian guy with the tats, whoever he is, Lord, that's your son, too. Thank you. Thank you, Lord, that this church is not just a one man's, or two man's show, that we are a body working together, Lord, and you're the head and you're the king of kings. Father, we want more of these in this church, Lord. Send more of your sheep, your lost sheep to the house, Lord. Send the Lord, we'll be faithful, Lord, to steward your heart in this place, Lord, and in the streets. In Jesus' name, and we all stay together, and give Jesus some praise. Hallelujah! (audience cheering) Hey, real quick, Joel, have them throw, hey, give them the trash cans so they can toss it. I'll expose the evil. The faith on this, I got it, bro. It's a party when one sinner comes to repentance. (audience cheering) That's it, man, this is it. And while they're doing that, if anybody wants to bring up any vape cigarettes, witchcraft, weed, alcohol, bring it up to the front, come join them, and repent, and throw that thing in the trash,
go to your car and get it, bring it to the front, whatever it is, don't hesitate, come to the altar. Amen. God bless y'all, man. Amen. Y'all see the testimony, man. Come on, sis, look at that. Let's go. Thank you, O.V. Ghost. You want to throw it away? Where's it at? Oh, they threw it away, it was up here. - Thank you, hello. - Come on, let's go, hey! - But hey, you hate family, and thank you for, yeah, allowing me that opportunity to do that. I brought, I will just, for the sake of the example. - You brought the weed? - Like, I brought the weed, I brought my medical card, right? Like, the state of Florida gives it to us, right? - Right, yeah, yeah, absolutely. But yes, like, you know y'all, I have been saved since I was 13, right, I've known the Lord. But I have not been happy, I haven't been happy, I've just continued going back and doing the same thing, and honestly, I've just been revealed like how many strongholds can really stay on you if you don't repent, and you don't keep Jesus Lord as your Lord, Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. And so, I've just seen him do such a work in my life, even through adversity, even through challenges.
I've just seen him do such a work in my life, and to anybody who's out there who's going through something, you're gonna get through it, 'cause God is so good, he is so good, and he just keeps showing it up in my life in so many ways, and so I know that I had to give this up today, 'cause it cannot keep going on in my life, I won't allow it, 'cause God is too good. - Yeah, here we go. - So, thank you, man. - Yeah, see you right here, look. She took a shot at her. - She took a shot at her. - She took a shot at her. 'Cause this is no longer who she is. (audience cheering) But thank you, yes. - Look, that person's died. - That person's died. - Yeah, you can throw it up. - She died. - She died. - Let's go, let's go. - She died. (audience cheering) - Let's sit right there. That's how we expose darkness. And shine the light of Christ. Wait, somebody else gave up their medical card?
Is that a medical marijuana card? (audience cheering) It's a party in the internet. (audience cheering) - So, while we used to work, you leave me for it. - When my son passed away, I had a very difficult time. I turned to that instead of Jesus. - I'm sorry to hear that. How long ago was that? - About five years ago. - I'm sorry to hear that. And I don't understand how that feels, but I know that having four children is probably tough. - But your child is obviously in heaven. - Yes, absolutely. - He believes in Jesus. He's in heaven, he's waiting for you. And this life is super short. - Yeah. - You have closure with it now? - Absolutely, I have Jesus. - Come on in, come on in. (audience cheering) - All right, praise God. (audience cheering) (audience cheering) - I have a lot more notes, but I actually want to play an encounter. Y'all ready to see something real cool?
So we can top off all this and keep going. All right, we're gonna play a little quick video from last night. Who saw the live last night? So I'm gonna play the video, and then after the video, I'll explain it 'cause she's the person's here. Okay, y'all ready? (audience cheering) So that's production team, turn off the lights. Everyone get in your seats. Oh, you good. Please turn off the lights, production teams. It looks good so they can have that cinema experience. Come on. (audience laughing) Production teams, we can, come on, production teams. (audience laughing) Nah, they're probably right back there rejoicing. - Trying to figure it out. - Jumping up and down. (audience laughing) There we go, thank you, Jesus. (audience cheering) Our ROC movies, revenue. (audience laughing) - What's up, guys? Give me going to the club streaming? Give me going to the streaming? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Come on, let's go.
I'm a music artist, do you think? - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, that's it. (audience laughing) (audience laughing) - Thank you. (audience laughing) - Hey, we just got that into a club. Yes, that's a super natural one, that's two, right? - Two. (audience cheering) (audience laughing) - What's up? (audience laughing) - Hello. Right on interview? - Sure. - How long have you been bartending? - I've actually been bartending for a couple of years, but I'm new here. - Okay, cool. - Do you believe in Jesus? - I do believe in Jesus. - Like you actually follow him, like you love him? OK, that's real. I feel like you do. You're a God's daughter. And God doesn't want you to be in this environment. Start up. He doesn't want you to bar, and then he loves you.
He wants you to bleed from the darkness. He wants you to get in the water and start growing. And you're calling and destiny. But this is a whole distraction of the devil to keep you found from a God of small than you. I won't disagree with you. I won't disagree with you. I've been a server for like seven years. And this is my first time ever working at night club. I'm not going to say like, oh, I love it. This is my friend's experience. But do I stay here and be like, is this really my calling? I feel like my friend's no calling. I want to get into it. I'm also a nanny. I love her. Children. I love it. I can't wait to be a mom. You're a nurturer. You're a motherly. You want to help children and animals. Like, it's the distraction from the enemy to keep you found from your calling. Do you want to know what I think you should do? What? Wait, right now. Leave. Just wait right now. Walk out.
Never come back. Let's go. This is the darkness, boy. This is the devil's church. I'll be honest with you. I only have this job because I made your best. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I made your best thing. I'm trying to get out of it. The Bible says that God has to hold with John. He's a provider for us. He doesn't need you working here to provide me. It's who obedience is to him and what he wants. It's where that actually brings the supernatural from vision that you need. I believe if you need tonight by repenting and saying, "You know what I'm done?" God will open up doors for a job that pays ten times more than you.
I believe it. I'm not going to take any of it. Let's go! I'll open you. I'll open you. I'll open you here. I'll eat worse. Yes! You ready? We have a connection with John. This is the word. This is the gospel worship. And if you want to, feel good. Give up, John. This is the church. Yes, I need something. I'll open you up. I'll open the door to the new man. I'll open you up. I'll open you up. I'll open you up. Nailene, come to the front so I can embarrass you. Come up here. Come on, Nailene. Come to the front, Nailene. Where's she at? She don't want to come? All right, then I'll go chase her down. There you go. Come on. I'll open you up. I'll open you up. I'll open you up. Good to see you.
So I learned her not even long, just real quick. This is Nailene. Okay. She was bought, she was, yes. She hasn't called me on her life. Y'all know this right? Yes. And she repented. And this shows me that you actually love God. Loving God is not perfection. It's actually repenting when God reveals himself. So I was just the vessel used to reveal the heart of your father to you, and you made the decision to change. Yeah. So amen. Amen to that, yeah. You just gave up the faith. Yeah. I'll be honest. Yeah, another one in my car that I got there on. You want to get it? Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. You got to get like a Pentecostal church. Woo! I got it. I got running around. This is never what God intended. It happened in the garden with the first two humans when humanity started.
God gave him instruction to stay plugged into him, the tree of life, and not to eat from the tree of self or the knowledge of good and evil, to follow him and not rely on yourself. But Adam and Eve decided to rely on themselves and disconnect from God. And God still said, "Adam, where are you?" And humanity fell. And now we have an expiration date on our body and have to live a life and die. God never intended that. This is bad news. Everyone say bad news. Then generations passed and people will live and die and live and die. And the plan was always the same thing. Come back to me. Come back to me. Come back to me. We think, "Why did God make this life happen that he didn't? We chose it." Humanity decided to go against God. But this is never the will of God. He never wanted this. And you say, "Well, if I was in that garden, I never would have done it." Yes, you would have. And what's so good about God is that even though we fell short and we deserve to be eternally separated from God, hell does not suck because it's just hot. Yes, it's scorching hot.
But what's worst about hell is that you're separated from completely from God. And that feeling is something you never want to feel. Even people on this planet right now who don't know God can still feel love. They can still feel God because God is love through the love that they have for their child, through the love that they have for their father or their mother or their friends. That love they feel is them feeling God without even knowing him. But hell is none of that. There's no love in hell. And for God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son begotten, meaning the same nature, character, and essence of the Father, God revealed himself to us in a body through Jesus Christ Yeshua. Who came to this earth born of a virgin living a perfect life was baptized by John the baptizer and began his ministry going from city to city, revealing the experience of God. When people would be delivered in hell, they would experience God. When he rose to death, people were experiencing God in real time. Jesus, when priests and cheats in such a way that people would know this rabbi, this man, is not like we're used to. We are experiencing something different.
He proved his deity. He fulfilled messianic prophecies that the prophets spoke about thousands of years before he came. And then he gave himself in to be arrested, to be beaten and scorched and mocked, and beat with the nine tails with 39 times to the point where he was unrecognizable. When someone is unrecognizable, it means that their face cannot be recognized. He was beaten so bad and mold, so bad like a pit bull eating out of human flesh that people couldn't even recognize that this is the Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth, walking with that cross. The cross is what identified him. He carried that cross all the way to that hill, right outside of Jerusalem, that hill of Golgotha. He was nailed to it. (gentle music) It's eternal separation from God. And blood is life. Leviticus talks about this. If you go to the doctor, guys, this is just logic and common sense. God gave me this revelation. If you go to the doctor and you're sick and he checks you with all his instruments and can't figure out what's wrong with you, he'll tell you to get blood work. Why? Because everything is found on the blood. Blood is life, and that's even logically understandable. Blood is life, and sin is death. In order for the sins of the world, all of our sins to be wiped clean,
there have to be bloodshed from a perfect human. And you tell me right now, someone that you've met in your life, that as a human being that's been perfect and never sinned, that's nobody. The only one who could do it is God. And God in a body is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God. Everyone say, "Jesus is God." Jesus is God. And he gave himself in. And he went on that cross and said it's finished because of the devil, the world. Never could, never could, he never sinned. All the temptation, everything never sinned. He won and took on the punishment. But I'm here to tell you, when he said it's finished, it was finished. When he said it's finished, it was finished. That was it. To all that torture he went through and that separation that he felt on the cross, when he said, "Father, Father, why have you forsaken me?" That was all the wrath of God, on the Son of God, that pleased the Father, so that we could be grafted in, adopted in as co-heirs with Jesus Christ. And when he said it's finished, that was it. And he freed the captives out of Abraham's bosom and he rose up without authority. And he breathed on his disciples to give him power after 40 days, went to be seated in equal authority at the right hand of the Father. He went to be seated at the right hand of the Father and sent the Holy Spirit. So now we can experience God by the Holy Spirit. Jesus can be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Now the ministry of the Holy Spirit is active. Now it's no longer going to a prophet or a high priest to hear the Word of God.
Now you can hear the Word of God from God himself by his Spirit, who searches God's heart and mind, who searches the will of God. Now can reveal those things to us. So the good news is if you believe Jesus is your Lord, meaning he is the highest power, that there's no other God before him. You believe he rose from the dead and you have to believe he died on the cross for your sins that believe he rose from the dead and you repent and turn to him wholeheartedly. Even the size of a muster seat of faith, you will be saved and the Spirit of God will fill you and you will be born again. Your life will not get better, your life will die and you will rise new. God doesn't take your old life and make it better. Just like her marijuana card that was completely blacked out, you die and you rise a new creation born again. When you get baptized, it's not the water that has power or the water that saves you. It's an outward act of what happens internally. So when someone goes up out under that water and they rise up and they get delivered from demons, it's not the water, it's the Spirit of God who dwells in them that delivers them from those demons. When we take communion, it's not a wafer and grape juice that becomes powerful. No, it's the Spirit of God who reveals revelation about the body of Jesus and about the blood of Jesus inside of us and around us that brings healing, that brings breakthrough. It's not the element. The element does not obtain power. It's Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. So the good news is, again, my brothers and sisters, if you wholeheartedly turn to Him right now, you can be saved. And if that's you, I want you to put your hands up in the sky, both your hands up. If you're watching online, put both your hands up, close your eyes. I want you to say Jesus, say Jesus, you've chased me down with your goodness and mercy. You love me so much.
I know I've messed up. I know I've been a knucklehead, but you already knew it and still chased me down like a father. I surrender to you now. I'm done following the wrong things, I'm following you, and I know I won't be perfect, and I know I won't be sinless, but by your Spirit, I will send less. You will change me internally. You are Lord, the highest power, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You died on the cross, you were buried, and rose from the dead on the third day. Come on, let's give Jesus some praise. Hallelujah, Jesus. So again, water baptism is a very sacred and holy thing. It is a very important thing. It's the first step of discipleship. It's just like someone who commits to someone to be married. That marriage ceremony is important. Baptism is a public declaration of your faith, the faith that you've already made internally. And through this faith and obedience to God's Word, it can birth spiritual realities. It's not the water that does anything, it's your faith. Baptism is so powerful because we're following the Word of God. If you got baptized as a baby in a Catholic church or whatever church, and you didn't know the gospel of Jesus, and you didn't repent, you didn't get baptized, you took a bath and at max were dedicated to the Lord. Baptism is after you truly surrender, repent, and believe the gospel message. That's when you go into that water. If you got baptized in the past because you were just going through bad things in life, but you didn't understand that you need a Savior in the gospel of Jesus, and you got baptized, again, that was just a bath. One baptism happens after you truly believe that he's Lord and he rose from the dead and turned to him. If you need to be water baptized, I want you to raise your hands and raise your hand up high. Go ahead, praise God.
If you want to be baptized, I want you to go to the exit sign right now. We're going to baptize you tonight. Go ahead, come on. Let's give Jesus some praise, man. This is a beautiful hallelujah. It's awesome, man. Come on, Jesus. It's so real. Hallelujah. All right, for I'll do at the front, we're going to worship everyone. If you can stand up, we're going to start worshiping, and the prayer warriors, we're going to start laying hands, okay? Start praying. So all you have to do is receive your prayer. We're going to just pray for you. I want you to be in the heart of worship at this altar. Just close your eyes if you want. Prayer warriors, don't just lay hands on their head quickly and scare them. (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music) Keep your hands up, we got some over here. (speaking in foreign language) (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music) (soft music)
[MUSIC PLAYING] Hallelujah, does everybody ever kill you mean, cup, if you don't raise your hand? Alright. Looks like that's everybody. So what I want us to do very quickly, we're just going to take a brief moment of silence just for you, between you and the Holy Spirit to release anything that you know that you have to release and just let go of before we partake in communion. [ Music ] Hallelujah, amen. So I want us to do something real quick, because I want you guys to allow the Holy Spirit to just minister to your minds. So I want everybody right now, I just want you to close your eyes. I'm going to close my eyes too, because the Holy Spirit was speaking to me this morning and I was actually sharing this with my wife as he was eating breakfast, and I just want you to just listen to me and just allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. I want you to understand that Jesus Christ, the King of the universe, the God who created it all and what the God says, everything was made by him, through him, for him, he willfully came up off his throne. And he stepped into time, space and matter, and I want you guys to understand this, God, who was all-solving, who was all-powerful, invincible, stepped into time, space and matter. I want you to understand, for God, that is actually humiliating. God, who was all-power, invincible, entered into a human body and suffered. I want you to understand, him entering into a human body is humiliating. And here's the thing, this is why Muslims can't comprehend this, people, not just Muslims, many people cannot comprehend who God is, because they don't understand what compelled him to do such a thing, and it was one word, love. It was love, that compelled him to enter into a human vessel, to step foot in time, space and to redeem us, because the word of God says that he even holds his word above his name. He's faithful to his word, a man, a soul that sins, shall surely die. He couldn't go against that. So because of love, he truly entered, humiliated himself. That's why the Bible says that he lowered himself a little less than the angels. And he walked, and he endured pain, he endured suffering. And I want you guys to understand this, the Bible says that he endured suffering to the degree that no man has ever known. We have to ask the question why.
It wasn't just talking and referencing physical pain. Jesus Christ, the one who never knew no sin. As he was on that cross, he experienced the worst pain in torture that any man could ever go through, because now the King of Kings took upon the sins of the past, present and future into his body. And I want you guys to actually allow the Holy Spirit to give you a picture of how tormenting that is, to take upon the sins of a murderer in your body. They take upon the sins of ours, their deceitfulness, me and you who lied, who cheated, who stolen, who's backstabbed. He took all of that air. He eradicated it from the inside out. That's why it was so excruciating. That's why it was so painful. I want everybody right now to open up and take out the bread. The bread represents his body that was broken in millions of pieces so that millions of his children could be saved. He had his body crushed and broken in half. I want to sort of break it in half. We thank you Jesus that you broke your body for us. We don't take this lightly. We come to the community table remembering your sacrifice. You took upon the sins of the world past, present and future in your body and you dealt with the greatest disease known to man sin. We thank you Jesus and we bless your holy name and we partake in this together as a family. You may all take of the bread and you may eat of the body. Now I want you to open up the cup. This cup right here represents the blood of Jesus. It represents the blood that was spilled and it's so prophetic as Rich was explaining that we all need blood to live. Isn't it funny how when somebody is dying and they need to be saved, they can go and receive a blood transfusion and they have to find a blood that is compatible with their blood in order to live but then we have the universal compatibility, the blood of Jesus
that is compatible with everybody, the universal blood that now gave up all of us who are dying life and life again. The Holy Spirit just told me that as Rich was explaining that I said, "Oh my goodness, Jesus Christ initiated a universal blood transfusion." We've all been given life and life again abundantly because of his sacrifice on that cross. Because of the blood that was shed right there. You see that cross? That was Jesus Christ's operating table. He chose to lay down on that table and allow himself to be cut open so that we could be safe. When they pierced his side you know what came out of his side, us, his brothers, we were pierced from his side. That right there, that operating table that he laid upon so that we could be truly, guess what? Listen to this, born again, isn't that beautiful? That's the reason to praise Jesus. That's the reason to follow him to the day you go. That's the reason to follow him no matter what's going on. When everybody, the enemy is attacking you, you have a reason to follow him because you know that you are born again. You're not born of this world no more. You have a heavenly Father that you serve. Amen? So I want everybody to lift up the cup and lift it up high. Jesus we thank you. We thank you Jesus for your blood. We thank you Lord that you had your side pierced for us. And what flowed from your side was water and blood, hallelujah. And because of that Lord we are now born again. We are now flesh of your flesh, bone of your bone.
We give you praise Jesus because without the blood we would not be here today. We give you praise Lord because without your sacrifice we would be damned. But you came to the rescue. So we take this in faith in the name of Jesus. And I think you that there is somebody in here who would take this in faith and I think you that their body will be healed because of the faith, the revelation behind why they're taking this. They will experience healing. People who will break right now, deliverance, whatever needs to happen will happen because now they have revelation. in the name of Jesus. We thank you and we bless your holy name and you may all take and drink of the blood of Jesus. - Hallelujah, come on, let's give God some glory. Thank you, Jesus. Come on, let's praise the King. Come on, praise him like you saved 'cause you are saved. Praise him like you've been redeemed 'cause you have been redeemed. That's how redeemed people praise, come on. Give him glory, he's worthy of it all. That's the King of Kings, man. So I just wanna close out with a prayer and I just wanna remind everybody, do not be unashamed of Jesus. Do not be ashamed of him. Be bold for him. Be like David. Dance for Jesus.
Be wild for Jesus. Be like the words of rich. Be a crash out for Jesus. Amen? 'Cause Jesus crashed out for you. He loved you that much. He said, "You know what, I'm gonna do something." But it's because of my love. I'm willing to go through it. Amen? So if y'all could just join me in prayer. Father, we thank you for what you did tonight. We thank you for the souls that were saved. We thank you for the people who came back to you, Lord. Those who are lukewarm were set a fire once more. I thank you for the oil that you poured out upon everybody in this atmosphere, in this building, and even those that are watching online. Lord, I thank you that the word fell on good soil, that it will sprout a good tree in the name of Jesus as we bear fruit and patience. We bless your holy name and we give you all the honor and all the glory and all the praise. And together, the entire house, say amen, amen. Amen family, God bless you all. You have a wonderful night, see you again next Sunday. (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music) (gentle music)
