How To Forgive Someone When You Can't Do it Yourself | Richard Lorenzo Jr.
“The Grace Nobody Ever Explained to You” — Richard Lorenzo Jr.
This message takes a deeper look at the true meaning of God’s grace and challenges common misunderstandings about what grace is and what it produces in the life of a believer. Grace is not permission to remain in sin or an excuse to live without obedience. It is God’s undeserved empowerment that enables us to walk in freedom, overcome sin, and live according to His will.
The sermon explains that grace does more than forgive our past. It teaches, transforms, strengthens, and equips us to become who God has called us to be. Rather than using grace as a reason to continue doing what we want, we are called to respond to grace through surrender, repentance, obedience, and holiness.
Ultimately, the message reveals that grace is not God lowering His standard for us; grace is God giving us the ability to live according to His standard. It is an invitation to stop taking grace for granted and begin understanding, receiving, and walking in the transforming power of God’s grace.

How many of us know that just one drop of Jesus' blood destroys the entire kingdom of darkness? How many have been bought by the blood of Jesus in the house of God? Hallelujah. We just thank you for your blood. We just thank you for the gospel, the gospel, the power of God unto salvation. We thank you that we are not ashamed of the gospel, that we are not ashamed to open our mouths and preach the gospel. That we are not ashamed to say that we've been marked and touched by the gospel, by the message of the cross, by the blood of Jesus. with boldness because we've been washed by the blood and there's no sin that can separate us from the love of God, hallelujah.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' name and the church says together. - Amen. - Amen. Amen. Who's excited to be in the house of God? (audience cheering) Yeah. Ah, man, I love it. I love it so much. I want to paint a slide for you guys real quick. It's Matthew two. In the second chapter of Matthew, we have an anomaly of the North Star. And this star is a testament of something great. And it was actually prophesied by a false prophet in the book of Numbers. By Lamb, he would prophesy that a Messiah would come from Jerusalem and be assigned from the North Star. And then you have three wise men, right? Maggies that see this anomaly. And when they see the anomaly, they're so drawn to it because these are astrologers. They're one that study the stars and they know. And in first century, they know that an anomaly like that marks the coming of a king, the coming of an emperor, the coming of something divine. So they follow this star. They follow it for months.
They traveled for months with all that they had. They come to Jerusalem and they declare it. They say, where is the king of the Jews? We wanna worship him, right? And then Harold, he hears of a coming of a king and it automatically it strikes like fear that his kingdom is being challenged. So he brings the wise men to himself. He sends them off to go find where this king is at. And when these wise men walk into this humble home and see Mary hold them baby Jesus, the Bible says that they fall to their knees and they worship him. They fall to their knees and they worship him. And these are not believers. These are not even Jews. The Bible says they came from the east. That means they probably came from Persia or some far off country. So they didn't understand the revelation of the Messiah but they knew that the star was a mark from God that he was to be worshiped. Then they pulled out from their possessions, gold, frankincense and myrrh. And these are not normal things that you just give on to a baby. Gold is given to a king. Frankincin is oil that's anointing of a prophet or a king and myrrh is what you honor someone who's dead.
So they didn't even know God used pagan wise men to announce the gospel to his son. He said the first wise men said, you are the king of kings. The second wise men said you are the anointed one of Israel, the one that's worthy to be worshiped. And the last one said you are the one that's gonna suffer and die. Peep the slide. It was the gospel given by pagan wise men that was prophesied by a pagan prophet. And they didn't come and think about it. Just rationalize with me. Think about this. He had no army. He hadn't done no miracles. He didn't have no kingdom in that moment. It was just a baby. And those wise men with revelation that God had revealed to them that he was worthy of praise, that he was worthy of worship, that he was worthy of gold, that he was worthy of Frankincin, that he was worthy of myrrh. Isn't that so powerful? That these wise men were able to have a revelation of who he is and out of their abundance they gave onto this king. And how much more as believers should we give? Who have the gospel?
Who have the cross? Who have the blood? We just talked about it. The blood who have the message that transforms you, the spirit that seals you. How much more as believers? Should we be able to recognize what the Lord carries and come before his presence, kneel down in worship and then give onto a king like that. Who wouldn't give onto a God like that? They didn't need no sign. They didn't need no wonder. They didn't need no miracle. They didn't need anything. All they knew was he was marked by God. All they knew was this was the king of the Jews. All they knew what he would be without any evidence that it was actually going to happen. Isn't that challenge you as a believer? That a pagan wise man would give from the depths of their prosperity onto, 'cause these aren't cheap things that they gave. Gold, frankincense, mer. The gospel and these three items, they honor Jesus. and let it be deep. Let it be like, man, we were just singing in the glory. We were just thanking Him for the blood. We were just thanking Him for the cross and His love. And we have evidence, family. We have testimony.
We have the Word of God. We have other people's testimony. We have so many things that can build us to respond. And my prayer tonight, family, isn't that you will just simply receive this giving message. But my prayer tonight is that your life will become a giving message. That your life, that your life, that you will be marked by God as someone who has received from God and your life would overflow into a giving message. That anywhere you go, you are a giving message. I want everybody to stand to their feet. You're going to stand to our feet and we're going to honor the Lord. How can pagan kings who know nothing of this man give on to Him with such depth? And we as Christians just give to God so shallow. We as one who have tasted and seen of His goodness still give Jesus the bottom, the crumbs. I call us to repentance tonight. That we will repent of this heart posture and the way we treat Him and His church. And that we will honor Him the way that He is worthy of praise and honor. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Have you come into agreement with that? I want you to shout out, hallelujah. So let's pray for tonight's offering.
Father, right now in the name of Jesus, Lord, we just thank You and we give You glory and praise for Your grace and mercy that is sufficient. I thank You, Lord, for the blood and the cross that is sufficient. I thank You for the body that was bruised and beaten. I thank You 'cause that was sufficient, Lord, that Your Spirit is sufficient, God, that even if You don't bless us any more than that, Lord, You are worthy of honor and praise, God. I thank You that Your word is so clear, Lord, that even pagan wise men gave on to You, Lord, how much more should Your children have tasted and seen? Give on to You, God. Thank You, Lord, that we will become giving messages that our lives will be a testament and a pistol, a gospel for Your love, because we have tasted and seen and received that we give back every single day. And in the area of our lives, Lord, tonight, we bless Your offering, God. We bless Your offering, God. And we pray that You break the chains of religion, that You break the chains of fear of men, that You break the chains of control, that You break the chains of this mentality that we are owners, when we are stewards, God. Thank You, Lord, that You have entrusted us with everything that we have right now. We do not own it.
And we bless Your house tonight, King Jesus, that You'll be magnified and glorified through this offering, through this giving, God. And we're gonna be bold about it in Jesus' mighty name and the church says together, Amen. Amen. Look to Your neighbor and say, Amen. Look to Your other neighbor and say, Amen. That's how You give on to the house, the God. So these are the ways that You can give. You can scan these QR codes. We got buckets going around. Don't sit down. That's your love, Lord. Your decision to come to this planet, Lord, and die on the cross was not a reaction to a mistake we made, it was something you already knew was going to happen, and you said yes to it. It's part of your predestination, the cross. That's crazy. You predestined it, you knew it would happen. You want to show us how much you love us through demonstration.

Even through this Word being preached, where's Jesus at? How can Jesus be revealed through this Word? Jesus be revealed through the worship. Jesus be revealed through the altar call. Jesus be revealed through the baptisms, through the exposing of darkness. Jesus is being revealed. He is manifesting Himself to us in this place tonight. And there are people here tonight who have never experienced Jesus manifested in the physical. Lord, you are spirit and you want to reveal yourself through these vessels in the physical so that people can see you. Jesus, have your way by your grace and manifest yourself tonight even more. leaving here and talking to people in the parking lot, Jesus manifests yourself everywhere. This is your home. And we want to know the owner of this home. Oh, Jesus, you're so real, Lord. I pray you become more real than the physical realm. I pray, Father, that you just reveal yourself in such a way that people are blown out of the physical realm, taken to the spirit. Blow our minds tonight, Jesus. However you want to do it, I don't even know. I never know unless you tell me.
And a lot of times you don't even tell me, so I'm just letting everyone know he doesn't tell me. He just does it. That's why it's his house. He gets the glory. That's why we praise him and worship him. How can you worship a God you don't see? I do see him. And he manifests himself every time in this house and everywhere I go. He always shows up and shows out in the physical realm for me to see you. You love him so much. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' name and we all say it together, amen. All right, let's get into this word. Come on. Man, who has a testimony of being encountered by God here at the rock, okay? So make sure you go to the testimony table for real. Man, we're multiplying what's happening here all around the world. I was just telling my wife that. Anywhere I go, outside of Orlando, I always hear testimonies on how people's lives have been changed from what God is doing here. We don't even really understand how many people are being touched through this ministry. We don't. It's all collaborative. Everything I do with the evangelism, all that stuff, it's all collaborative to do one thing. Make disciples. Isn't that awesome? The podcast? Make disciples.
Evangelism? Make disciples. Here tonight, make disciples. Whether it's day one or whether it's day one thousand for somebody. We want to make disciples a disciple of someone who just decides, you know what? I'm actually going to follow Jesus. I've been going this way and I'm, I've been going this way and I'm turning. I'm repenting. I'm turning. I'm turning because God has revealed himself to me in such a way. The only way you can repent is if God's goodness, an experience of God happens. God brings you to a moment where you say, and you walk, you walk with Jesus and you follow Him. It's not perfection. It's following the perfect one. It's not being flawless. It's following the flawless one. It's Jesus. He is really alive and he's real and we want to, as a minute before I die, I want to see as many people follow Jesus as possible through my life and the life of my brothers and sisters and then I want that to pass on to the next generation. I don't want to waste my life here. I don't want to waste my life following things that are going to die in the physical realm. I don't want to waste my life chasing a career that's going to die in the physical realm. Chasing a person who will die in the physical realm. I want to chase Jesus and tell everyone else to follow me as I chase Jesus. That's what I want to do. Tell everybody to follow me as I follow Christ and then look for other people who follow Christ to and follow them as they follow Christ. Follow my wife as she follows Christ.
Follow Jason as he follows Christ. Follow Joel Carlos as they follow Christ. I want everyone to follow Jesus. That's a disciple and that's what's been happening at this house for the last four to five years. Real talk. We're not chasing a music career. We're not chasing to be known. We're chasing to make Jesus known because people experience Jesus generational curses broken. You know how much I hate the devil? I hate the devil. Because he had me bound for so long in deception. You know how it feels to be bound in deception thinking you're right. You ever had a moment where you thought you were super right and then it came to that revelation that you were super wrong? How did it feel? How did it feel? For real? How did it feel? I felt embarrassed. I felt humility. I felt like a fool. When I met Jesus, yeah, I got filled with his love but I also felt I was pissed off to know that 29 years of my life was wasted following foolishness. foolishness was or not. So now that I know the truth and I've experienced the truth, that's why I want people to follow Jesus because it destroys the works of Satan. And you know Jesus wants you to do the same thing too. We were just talking about that at the pre-service in Genesis. The gospel was first preached through God speaking to Eve and speaking to the devil. It was a devil. He said to the devil he said this is what's going to happen. He said there's going to be a seed that comes that crushes you. His foot's going to crush you. Your bruise is healed. He was speaking about
Jesus. The gospel was preached. I think it was Genesis 2, if I'm not mistaken. And it's crazy that Jesus listened to this guys. God brought, He brought a plan of action and vengeance on the enemy before He even brought a curse. So before He even cursed out of an Eve and in the devil, He told the devil this was going to happen to you. There's going to be a seed from a woman who's going to and doesn't seed come from man. That was him speaking about Jesus being born of a virgin. He's going to crush your head and you're going to bruise his heel a little bit. He's going to destroy you. He was speaking about Christ. The gospel was preached. And then after that, that's when He came with the judgment, the curses because of what they did. So God always wants to crush the head of Satan. In your life, He wants to crush the head of Satan. I want you to get angry about every demon that's had you and your family bound for years. Are you mad? Aren't you? What if I told you God's even, He's even more pissed off. I love my children. And if someone does wrong to my children, I mean now that I'm in Christ, it's different. But yeah, just think about it from that way. I don't need to go any deeper. You understand what I'm saying, right? You want to make sure like, man, I want to take care of my children and anybody that's hurt my child, man, like right? Like that. Now it's not people, it's demons. So you should be mad of all the years, maybe that you were in deception and all your family members that are probably in deception or we're in deception. You ever think about that? Does it ever anger you that your friends and family are still in deception? God's angry too and He wants His children freed. This is what it is to make a disciple, bro. [ Laughter ] Draw him out of our life. [ Laughter ] All right, you ready? All right, we're gonna talk about grace tonight. Okay? Grace for the guy in the red. Up there, grace. Y'all ready for grace? One of the hardest things that we do is not giving, it's receiving. Y'all ready? It's gonna get good. One of the hardest things for the human being is not to give. It's to receive. Think about this. A hard-working man in the church loses his job and rent is due on Friday. He has nothing. Let's say we find out about it in the church and we decide to write him a check and put it and give him an envelope. And then after servicing, he comes up to me and he says, "Man, I don't deserve this." Does he deserve to, for his rent to be taken care of? Why does he deserve it? What do he do to earn it? What do he do to earn it? So you think serving in the church deserves money? You see, that shows your heart a little bit. It's okay, though. That's good. You see, and that could become transactional. And so where people actually --
You know, it's crazy you say that 'cause there's -- there has been people that think, "I've been serving faithfully here, so I need to help for money. I need a check." No. And you've been serving transactionally. You haven't been serving Jesus. You've been serving yourself. So somebody's a hard-working man who serves in the church and needs help with their rent. If we help them out, it's not because they earned it. It's because it's grace. And it's not a loan. It's a gift. Some people have been looking at their salvation, like a loan and not a gift. Like, you got to work for God to keep it. Can you receive that? Some of you have not been receiving that and tonight the religion is going to break off you in Jesus name. Amen? All right. Let's start with love. So God does not love you because you're valuable. You're valuable because God actually loves you. God does not love you because of your gifting. He doesn't love you because of how good of a person or perfect or sinless or whatever you want to think. That doesn't make God love you. He loves you because simply he loves you. How crazy is that? And because he loves you, you're valuable. Most love in the world is like a thermometer. It reads the room. You're kind to me. I'm warm. If you hurt me, I go cold. Human love measures the person standing right in front of them. But God's love is a thermostat. God's love is a thermostat. It doesn't read the temperature. It sets it. Y'all with me? He sets it all the way up. All the way hot. It doesn't rise and fall with your behavior because your behavior never caused it to be on fire in
the first place. So when you do something bad, his love doesn't go down and become colder. It stays all the way on fire because that's who he is. So when you make a mistake and you backslide, does God love you less? When you make a mistake and you go to the world for two years, does God love you less? Does God love the witch less, the child molester less, the murderer less, the rapist less, the Muslim. No, he loves everyone through the roof. So then think about this. If God loved you before you even knew him, what's going to make him love you less now that you're falling short? If God loved you before you even knew him, so when I was in the world while and out, God loved me all the way thermostat on fire. So now that I'm in Christ, I make a mistake or I fall short. Who's the one saying that God doesn't love me anymore? Who's the one that's saying that God loves me less? Who's the one that's making me feel like I'm not adequate or I'm not worthy? Who's the one doing that? The op. That dirty, wicked spirit that's speaking to your ear. That demon that's lying to you or your flesh or whatever it is or that whatever it is that's speaking to you to make you think that God loves you less. He wants to make you look at God wrongly because if you don't see God rightly you can't receive, right? Yeah, with me on this, everyone say God is a thermostat and his love is all the way up. Look at this, Deuteronomy chapter 7 verse 7. The Lord did not set his affection on you and chose you because you were more numerous than the other peoples. He's speaking to Israel right now. You know you guys know Israel was a small country, super small. The neighboring pagan nations were way bigger than Israel, had more military force than Israel, were smarter than Israel, had all the everything that Israel didn't have and he chose Israel not because of how large they were or how tall they were or how strong or how smart they were. He chose them because he loves them and that's it. Look at this, the Lord did not set his affection on you and chose you because you were numerous or more numerous than the other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But because the Lord loved you and kept the oath, everyone say covenant because he kept the oath, he swore to your fathers. He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery. Man, that's amazing. Why did God love them? Because he loved them. That's the whole answer. There's no underneath it and if you can't find the switch that turned it on, you can't find a switch that turns it off. There's no switch on God's love. God's not, I love you, I love you. No, I don't love you today. How many of you have felt like that though? Come on, raise your hand. I have, I have. Some days I feel like God loves me a lot because
there's so many things happening and in the minutes things are not happening like I wanted or or I'm not seeing God move now, I'm thinking he doesn't love me as much. That is a lie from the devil. That's called being performance driven. That's relying on performance to what I do or what he does to show me he loves me. No, God wants me to rely simply on the truth. This is how the Apostle Peter was able to go upside down. And you know he chose to go upside down on the cross. They martyred him. He was killed. Listen to this. The Apostle Peter who denied Jesus three times, then was restored by Jesus and then won 3,000 souls to Christ on the day at Pentecost. That was castin' out demons with his shadow. He was a chief apostle going to different regions. And he was overseeing all these churches. He decided when they arrested him and they said we're going to crucify you. You know what he said? That's cool. But don't hang me upside the right way. Put me upside down. I don't deserve to be put up on the cross like my Savior. How did he get to that point? Let's be real. Would y'all really say that right now? If you were arrested, I don't even know if I would. I probably would try to be fighting my way out of it. I probably would try to be crying. I don't even know what I would say. I don't even know what I would do. I would need the grace of God. I would need God to give me some power, to give me some stirring and fanning,
to actually say something like that. Peter did not depend on his own strength like he did when he chopped the ear off of that slave. He depended on the grace of God. Man, the love of God is real. His grace. It's favor. It's a gift. It's everything we need. We need the grace of God. It's power. It's gifts. It's marriage. It's children. It's good health. It's breath of my lungs. This is all favor that we don't deserve because we deserve really to be separated from God for eternity. But because of Christ Jesus, because of Jesus Christ, and now that we're in Him, in Jesus, hidden in Christ, I'm hidden in Christ now. I'm hidden in what he did on the cross now. I'm hidden. I got all the grace in the world and the universe. Outside, I got everything I need because of Jesus Christ and what he did. I put my faith in Christ. I put my faith in what he did on the cross. And now I got everything that Christ received free. That's crazy. And that's freeing. First John chapter 4 verse 10, and love consists in this, not that we loved God. I'm going to say it again. And love consists in this.
The consistency of love is this, not that we loved God, but that he loved us. And what's the demonstration of him loving us? He sent his son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. This is grace. This is favor. I wanted to find favor. Favor is what happens on a face. It's the way a father's eyes light up when his kid walks in the room. Before that kid has done a single thing, favor is God's face lighting up when your name comes up. And the first time that word shows up in your Bible, look where it lands, Genesis 6. God looks at the earth and every thought of every heart is evil all the time. It's the darkest chapter in the book. And this is what happens. Look, Genesis 6, 8, Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the Lord. That word favor in the Hebrew is the word Chen. It's an Old Testament word for grace. And here's the mystery behind this word. Noah's name in the Hebrew is two letters, none and Chet. It's the word for grace, Chen. It's the same two letters flipped, Chet and none. Noah's name is grace spelled backwards. You'll never understand Noah until you read him from grace. You'll never understand your story until you read it from grace. Look at the order. Verse 8, Noah found favor. Verse 9, Noah was righteous and walked with God. The favor came before the resume. So his ability to even walk righteous was because God found favor. Just think about this. He's a pattern.
So love is the heart favor is the face. And look at this, and grace is when God gets up and does something about it. A holy God can't just wave his hand over sin. Somebody has to pay. And who paid that price? Come on, Jesus. So grace is love with its hand open. It's God giving you what you can never earn at a price you can never pay because of a love you can never cause. Everything that grace is cheap. [BLANK_AUDIO] Cheap means it didn't cost much. Free means somebody else paid for it. Remember that? And grace doesn't mean God lowered the bar. The standard never even moved one inch. He cleared it himself. Picture it. You owe $100,000 in student loans. A debt you can never pay. You walk up to the counter shaking because you got to pay it or you get arrested, ready to beg for your payment plan. And the cashier says, hey, it's been paid. You say, by who? She hands you the receipt. You look at the total, and it wasn't marked down. It wasn't 50% off. It's full price paid and full. And at the top of that receipt where it says who the payment was for, it's your name. Look at what Paul says happened to our bill.
Look, I'm going to read what Paul said, the Apostle Paul, about your bill. Look at this Colossians, chapter 2, verse 13. When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, that means when we were dead in the world and sinful, practicing sin while in, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses, having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees, the law that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross. The debt ascribed to us in the Greek is a word that literally means handwriting. It was a certificate of debt signed in the debtor's own hand. Nobody forged your bill. Every line on it was actually in your handwriting. Oosh, I'm on top. And when Rome crucified a man, the charge against him was posted on the cross above his head. So God took your charged sheet, and he nailed it there instead. The debt was in your handwriting, the receipt is in his blood. So all the debt that you owe, all the sins that you know you've committed, and your handwriting, but then he wipes it with his blood. That's you recognizing that you've fallen short a million times, but then his blood covers the debt. That's you writing on a white piece of paper with a black pen, and then all of a sudden blood comes all over it, you can't see nothing. That Jesus canceling everything out
because of the bloody shed. Come on, somebody say, thank you, Jesus. Like really, man, this is crazy. Grace doesn't make God soft on sin. The cross proves God took your sin more seriously than you ever have. And it proves he loves you more than your sin ever cost. I'ma say it again. Grace doesn't make God soft on sin like it doesn't matter 'cause some people think, oh, God covered it. I could just wile out and do what I want. It doesn't mean that sin doesn't displease his heart. The cross proves God took your sin more seriously than you ever could or ever will. But it proves again he loves you more than your sin ever costs. That's what love does when there's a bill it pays. And grace doesn't just stay on the receipt. He reaches out, God reached out to pay that debt. He came down lower than the angels he created to enter a body, God himself, the second person of the Godhead, the person of Christ revealed to us, the God revealed to us, Colossians says, the fullness of God bodily came to live a life that we couldn't live, to go through everything we've been through and to give himself in as a perfect sacrifice to shed blood and be on a cross for three hours, suffering, feeling the fullness of separation
to the point where he cried out to the Father, who is him saying, why have you forsaken me, feeling the separation that people in hell are feeling right now? He experienced it to the maximum because he loves us. That's some good news. Whoo. Under the old covenant, there was a rule. I want to read this, how God spells it out, the prophet how God. How God chapter two verse 12, look at this. If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment and it touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that item become holy? No. Consecrated meat was wholly set apart meat. Just because it touches something else that's not holy doesn't make the thing holy. Now look at this. Y'all got with me on this, right? So consecrated meat was consecrated for God. It was set apart for God's purposes. And when that meat, that was consecrated to God. It stayed holy, but those things stayed unclean. But look at this. And Sohaga asks, the prophet Haga asks this. If one who was defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?
Yes, it becomes defiled, the priest answered. So look at the rule. Holy touches bread and the bread stays ordinary. Unclean touches bread and now it's unclean. Dirty spreads, clean, didn't. That's why in Leviticus, a man with leprosy had to tear his clothes, cover his mouth, and walk around crying, unclean, unclean, whenever he had that leprosy disease and live alone outside the camp. Nobody touched him for years, did y'all know this? But then look at this, Mark chapter one verse 40. "Then a leper came to Jesus begging on his knees." If you are willing, you can make me clean. Move with compassion. Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. I am willing, he said, be clean. And immediately the leprosy left him and the man was cleansed. Move with compassion. That word in the Greek for compassion is a word that comes from your insides, your gut. It means Jesus' stomach turned for this man. Before his hand ever moved, his heart did first. That's love, and the hand always follows the heart. But every ruling had God onto those rules, Jesus should have walked away unclean because he touched an unclean man. But it ran backwards. The leper didn't make Jesus dirty. Jesus made the leper clean.
Jesus didn't catch his uncleanness. The leper caught his holiness. And Jesus didn't have to touch him. He healed other people with a word from miles away. He reached out his hand on purpose for a man who probably hadn't felt a human hand in years. Grace doesn't just fix you, it reaches for you. Now here's the mystery. There was one place under the law where holiness did spread. And that's the altar. Exodus 20 says, whatever touches the altar will be holy. The only place holiness was contagious was the actual place of sacrifice. So when a leper touches Jesus and walks away clean, heaven is telling you exactly who Jesus is. And if you read it to the end of the chapter, the healed man runs into the town telling everybody, and Mark says Jesus could no longer enter a town in plain view, but he stayed out in solitary places. At the start of the chapter, the leper was the one living outside alone. At the end of the chapter, the leper is in the town and Jesus is on the outside. They traded places. That's the gospel. He took your outside so you can have his inside. In the name of Jesus, receive it. Now here's where everybody gets confused. When grace touched that leper, was it favored?
Was it mercy? Was it power? Yes, I'm gonna show you. Grace is favored. Mercy and power are what that favor looks like when it lands on you. First Peter chapter four, verse 10. As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another. That word manifold and the Greek means many colored. It's the same word the Greek Old Testament uses for Joseph's robe of many colors. And why did Joseph get that robe? Because the father loved him. Grace is the one robe with many covers and it's put on you by a father who loves you the robe of righteousness. Three chapters earlier, Peter uses the same word for your trouble. He says you've had to suffer grief in various trials. We've read that verse before. Various trials suffering many colored trials. So Peter is telling you that for every color of your trouble, God has a matching color of grace. Your trial came in color. God's grace comes in the same color. Mercy is God's hand holding back. And mercy is God looking at what you have come. Mercy is God looking at what you have coming
and saying, not today. So let's look at this, I love this. Mercy is God's hand holding back from judging you. And it's also God looking at what's coming at you because of what you did and saying, not today. Come on, man. So it's God saying, you know what, I could judge you but I'm not 'cause I love you. And then he sees the dirty devil accusing you, let me. And at the same time, let me stop that. And you're back slitting and you're wiling now and you're over there and you should be dead. Rejecting God, blaspheming God, going against God. And then he says he sent someone like me in the middle of 12 o'clock at night downtown Orlando to tell you to stop I'm dead serious To say I'm mean, but that's got died. Nope. I sent my son listen wake up wake up Or even me when I'm going through something and I and I and I'm sitting there like God was going on in the random Publix and someone comes up to me and says hey, I have a word for you and they don't even know who I am I'm telling you I've experienced these things because God loves me and he knows when I'm going through it He's so personal and relational His mercy and goodness runs me down all the time because I need that I need it. Do you need it? I need it The Old Testament word for mercy is rakam and it's related to rakim the Hebrew word for womb So mercy is the way a mother feels about a child who came out of her own body If y'all caught that mothers how much do you love your children that came out of your belly? What do you always tell your children you came out of my belly, right? You look at them. That's how much you love them someone who came out of you. You can never stop loving Right? That's how God loves us She doesn't check the record before she runs to her son that's in need Mercy isn't just a judge going easy on you. It's a mother refusing to let you go
Think about come on y'all here. How many how many times you hurt your mother and she never stopped loving you my mom She never stopped loving me after all the things I've done I put it through hell But one thing my mom never did was she never stopped picking up that phone She never stopped saying I love you. She never stopped listening to me or or or or being a mother in my life She always loved me when I was wilding out when my brother was wilding out She especially me I would wild out and she would never give up on me because I came out of her womb So what makes you think God is gonna stop loving you That's crazy Hebrew chapter four verse 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need Two different things from one throne Mercy is not getting the punishment you deserve and grace is getting the help you didn't deserve You're doing 90 in a 55 how many y'all have done that before come on How many times were you driving on the road going 90 and a 50-flog and the blue lights turn on and your heart drops And you're freaking out and the cop car goes right past you I'll be transparent. I got pulled over there the day I was picking and my kids were in the car I Repent I'll say but I don't catch I was going it was like a little back road after picking my slate stop. It's a little bad Not justifying it, okay I was picking up my kids were school is a little back road You have to go through a little area in the cut and now I always go back there. There's not there's just two lanes I didn't even know it was a 25. Okay, I didn't and I was going like I think I was going 50. Okay, 45 Boy them lights turned on out of nowhere. My son goes that is the police And I was like actually son it can I always play with them and when they're when they're acting up I'll be like I'm gonna call the police before when they were little they'd be they used to be like no no But now my son he'd be like he's just kidding Jeremiah. Leave him And I'll put the little YouTube you ever seen the little police call for kids They'd be like hello. I'd be like hi my son like yeah, but anyways I've done that probably like 500 time now, but um our pain, but I'm in the truck and the police actually for real
And I looked at a lot. I'm not looking for this. Oh shoot 25. Oh, I'm cooked and I'm telling my kids. Hey I'm getting pulled over and they're like why did that Jeremiah's why like It's a whole moment thumb three in the back me I'm like this about to be a learning lesson Holy Spirit I Gotta get this ticket in front of my kids. I'll take it like a champ and repent and tell him it's wrong cop comes up, you know So you're going 15 to 25 buddy, and I'm like yeah, and I said honestly bro. You're right. You're right. I'm so like I am 100% like so, so, you know why are you doing? I'm like look I pick up my kid. That's all mature like that I wasn't paying attention. I didn't know and and I was like and also, you know, I'm a local pastor here in Florida I (audience laughing) (audience laughing) And then like, you know, he went from like that to like, "Oh, okay. I'll be right back." He goes, "Right." He goes, "Right." He's like, "For 15 minutes, there's a minute." I'm thinking, because I've had so many tickets in my life, so I'm thinking, "Yeah, I got to take it." He's taken too long. He's like, "This is quick. This is taking too long." You know, he acts like there's insurance, everything, I'm pointing. I'm like, "Yeah, everything's a good man. Show him a really old beat." Like just, you know, just abiding by the, you know, governing laws of the land. He goes to the, the, the, the card, I'm telling myself, "Son, I was going 15 or 25. I was wrong. I'm not supposed to do that." He's, you know, sounds like, "What's going to happen?" I'm like, "I'm going to get a ticket."
He's like, "What's a ticket?" "I got to pay money." I got to do that. And he's like, "And then the guy comes back and he goes, "Look, I'm going to just give you a warning." Thank you, Jesus. That's that. Thank you, bro. I said, "Hey, you know, I start preaching the gospel. You believe in Jesus? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah." And, man, I just pray for you. I pray over here. I'm like, they watched the whole thing. And then, now, you know, I'm driving my 25 leaving, you know, perfect, right turn. Get out. Leg is on. And my son, they have all the questions in the world on the, the whole way home. I'm answering all the questions, repenting in my mind. God, I'm sorry. You know, but it was grace. It was mercy. The mercy was, I should have got a ticket. The grace was, I got a warning. So like, my kids learned that, and I told them, I said, "That was God, son. That was Jesus. I should have got a ticket." And he asked me, "Have you ever got tickets before?" I said, "Yes." Then he said, "Dad, you ever been arrested before?"
And I said, "I have, twice." And I started talking to him about that. And he's like, "How's jail?" And all these things. I was able to tell him, like, "It's not good and it's terrible. It sucks and it's boring." I said, "The food stink is nasty." And I made jail look dirty, like terrible to him. And then, but he, but he learned something. He learned that like, "I should have gotten something and I didn't." Like he learned grace. He learned mercy. He saw me praying over the cup. It was a, it was a learning lesson for all my kids. And for me, but that was grace and mercy, right? In Corinthians 12, 9, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly in my weakness, for the power of Christ may rest on me. I boast in my weakness. I boast in my areas where I, I need to grow in. I need to grow in this area. I need to grow in this area. I don't want to be silent about those things because then the strength of God, that He can't rest on me. The strength of God can't rest on things where I don't think I need help, but I really know I need help or I don't want to admit I need help. We get strength and we admit it. Can everyone just say admit it? So when I admit it to God and admit it to my brothers and sisters and confess, I need
help. I'm feeling this way and I'm not supposed to feel this way according to the word. I'm just letting you know I'm praying for this. Pray for me. I need help. Holy Spirit. And then God always comes through with grace and power and strength. When we puff up and think, you're wrong, I'm not wrong, you're in pointing the finger all the time at everybody else, we're always blaming everything else but ourselves. God's grace can't rest on us, man. I can't receive that free gift that I don't deserve. How many times have you been desperate in the secret place crying out to God for an area of your heart that no, you no need to be clean, that you can't clean on your own saying, God, I just surrender and all of a sudden his grace begins to rest on you and empower you, right? I see hands up in the back. What if I told you that's supposed to be all the time for us as Christians? It's not supposed to only be when you're going through bad situations, even though when you're going through bad situations, he still wants you to run to him too, but it should be all the time. We should be, we should be discerning not only of other people's spirits, right, but also things that are dealing, we're dealing with in our heart. The sermon is not just for others, it's for you too. Cast that's a bar. The sermon is not just for others, it's for you too. If anything, I guess discern for others to help people, but also that discernment gift is also for you. There's an area of your heart that needs to be fixed. There's an area of your heart that needs to be clean. Praise God for that.
Thank you, Lord, that I'm not perfect, that I need your perfection, your righteousness, your robe, your blood, your goal, I need you. I'll boast in these infirmities, I'll boast in these things because I need help, amen. God can't help somebody that don't need help. He'll wait on you to need help, but does he know you need help? He's trying to throw that life raft out, that life, what was it, the life saver raft, How many of y'all been depending on your own strength? You know how we repent? I don't have to anymore. I need you, Jesus. Let's stop blaming demons and let's blame ourselves. That's a big one right there. Let's stop blaming demons, is the devil real? Do we wrestle? Yes, of course. You know I believe in that? But the devil can't touch someone who depends on God. I'm not trying to fight the devil on my own. I need God to help me with the wrestling match. He gives me the power. The lowest ranking demon can destroy me without the grace of God. But with the grace of God, I can destroy any demon because he already defeated the devils. He gives you the superpower of the Holy Spirit. The person, the third person of the Godhead who gives you power to overcome anything that's placed in front of you. Isn't that crazy that we can have power over anything placed in front of us? We're a situation that sucks. That looks terrible. That looks like everything's being destroyed. God's power can rest on us to where now we look at it as an opportunity to glorify God. We get excited and say, "Ooh, things about to happen. There's about to be more testimony. Oh, the devil thinks I'm going to be scared and fearful and he thinks I'm going to just give up. No, I'm about to depend on God's grace. And whenever I'm fighting and I feel like I'm going to give up, I'm going to go back to the grace. Power, power, power, and I'm going to fight. Every time I'm getting hit, power, that's how it works.
I keep going back to his grace. He keeps empowering me, empowering me, empowering me. And then I get through it and there's a whole testimony because of Jesus and he gets all the glory. And when people say, "How does you get through it?" I depend on God's power, His grace, His love, His situations that He set up. Everything is me depending on God. I depend on God and He got me through. Be a googoo gaga baby, depend on God. My friend says, "Be a baby that's like God, I need you. I need you Jesus in this moment. Fear is trying to hit you. I need you." I don't, God wants me to feel love. God wants me to feel love. I'm not feeling love in this moment and I'm feeling fear. God does not want me to feel fear. God, I feel fear. I need you and He gives me love. It's yielding in my heart continuously to God and the spirit of God works through me. I continue to go back to what Jesus Christ did. Grace, me receiving this love, me receiving this power, me receiving this peace, me receiving this sound mind. It's not because of anything I've done. It's not because I prayed for three hours today or I read the Bible ten times in one day. It's because simply God loves me and it's given to me as a free gift. Which leads me to want to read the Bible and pray for three hours. Which leads me to want to go evangelize. Which leads me to want to preach. Which leads me to want to love others. I don't love others because I like their personality. No, I can like someone's personality and not love them just like I can not like someone's personality but love them. I can love somebody not because of who they are but because of who God is. And then when I see God and I say God you are amazing, you love me and you love them. Now I see them through the love of Christ. I can only love somebody based on how God sees them. My love is not based on how someone treats me. My love is not based on how someone, how much I can relate to someone. My love is not based on how cool somebody might seem. My love is simply because of the love that God has poured into my heart through seeking him and depending on him and needing him that allows me to love someone else. It's not because of anything they've done. You know what's real power?
Loving someone who doesn't love you. Loving someone who doesn't treats you right. Loving someone who doesn't recognize, that's the best time to love someone, that's when you're at work. Love somebody who you know doesn't see you rightly because them not loving you is not because you're this terrible person. It's because they don't have the love of God. So if I know they don't have the love of God in them but I got it in me, I'm going to attack with love so they can see Jesus through my vessel. And now they have love that touches them that doesn't make any sense like why are you loving me grace? I've received it by grace, now you receive it by grace. That's power. That's how we fight. That's how we forgive. Why would I forgive this person? They touched me wrongly, they molested me. Whatever it was, they robbed me, they cheated on me. Well, there's nothing that they did that should make you forgive them. So what do you want them to do, 20 things more? What do you want? The person who hurts you to give you a million dollars and that's what's gonna allow you to forgive 'em? So now your forgiveness is based on, your forgiveness is based on what someone can pay you. You're holding debt. (gentle music) I can forgive someone simply because I've been forgiven by the grace of God, by the love of God. I've been forgiven. So if I've been forgiven a much, they deserve to receive forgiveness. And look at this, and if I can't see that person rightly,
what do I do? Do I try to conjure it up in my own strength to love them? No, I go to God and say, "God, I can't love this person." Rightly, I need the love that you gave Jesus Christ when he was in that garden sweating blood before he went to the cross that empowered him to go through what he went through. "God, I need that power." And then the spirit of God begins to fill me with this love and power that makes no sense. It literally feels like I'm being fueled up like a tank of God's love that now allows me to see the situation, rightly the person, rightly. And what was so big to me is now nothing. Now I can stomp on the devil and love the person and forgive him. Now I can break generational curses that have had my family bound for so many generations. That same cycle that keeps on happening, keeping my family bound, causing premature death, causing sickness, causing divorce, causing addictions, and all these things that the devil loves. How many of y'all wanna break that tonight? (congregation cheering) It's not by you trying to conjure it up. Has that worked? It doesn't. It's by you saying, "God, I actually need you, "and I know that you love when I need you. "You love it when I need you,
"and you wanna fill me more than I wanna be filled "so Holy Spirit, have your way, and then he fills you." I feel like some of y'all are gonna be filled tonight with the love of God that's gonna allow you to forgive. (congregation cheering) Forgetting this is gonna happen tonight. If you need to forgive somebody who's hurt you, stand up. Whoa! Let's go. I'm gonna help you. (congregation clapping) Come to the altar. This is huge for God. Thank you, Father. When y'all are in the room, come up to the altar, be beautiful. This is gonna be so powerful right now. He's about to hit you with his power. (soft music) Prayer warriors get ready, man. They about to fill with the grace of God. Let's destroy the works of saying, "Dang, it's a lot of people." That's good. Come up, come up. Come to the altar, flood it. Flood it. Flood it. Flood it. Let them come over there too.
(congregation clapping) Whoo! I feel the power of God right now. Man, he's about to feel y'all with a feeling. It's a feeling. God feels it, you feel it. Internally, you will feel warmth. How many of y'all have ever felt the warmth of God's love? Physically, right? How many of y'all have ever felt a peace of God that just hits your mind? It's real, right? The joy, I don't know where you're just joyful and happy. This is the Holy Ghost. This is the ministry of the Holy Spirit. This is him, the third person of the Godhead. He wants to fill you right now with all that. And he knows what you need individually. I don't, he does. Yes, Holy Spirit. So what we're gonna do right now is I want you guys to open up your eyes first and foremost. I want you to look at yourself right now. When I say look, I want you to know first and foremost, God is madly in love with you for real. He is so in love with you that he brought you to this church and brought you to this altar tonight. He convicted you in such a loving way that it brought you to this altar to want freedom. You want freedom.
He wants you to have freedom. I want you to catch this in your mind. God wants me freed more than I do. Your father wants you freed more than you, that's, that should relieve some people, relieve some people from performance. God doesn't want you to conjure anything up or try to muster up strength. He wants you to let go tonight and realize, I can't do it on my own. I can't forgive on my own, that what you've been through is so hard, or how about this, it was so traumatizing and so painful that it left a mark in your heart. Now God wants to fill that mark with his power supernaturally. If you open up your heart right now, undignified, vulnerable, I can't do it for you. You have to let go of the hardness in your heart and open it up, not to the person, to God. You need to see Jesus right now, not what you went through, and not the person. You need to see that Jesus right now, not close your eyes. I want you to see Jesus, seated on the throne who has all power, who loves you and wants you to forgive more than you do. He wants you freed more than you do, who's right now with his arms wide open, and I can see it right now, tears running down his eyes. Tears running down his eyes because he loves you so much. This is a moment to remember, and I want you to open up your heart, and I want you to begin to cry out to God for power, for grace, just being to cry out to God for help in your own way. Go ahead, begin to cry out to him in your own way, begin to cry out to him for real. This is your breakthrough. Don't worry about nobody next to you. Begin to ask God, begin to ask God for grace. Father, I pray that you fill them with your grace right now. Fill them with your power right now. I want you to literally ask God to help you right now in this moment.
He doesn't want you thinking him, he wants you asking for help, ask him for help. The Bible says, "If you ask, you shall receive." He wants you to ask. Begin to ask him, "Lord, help me with this situation, help me forgive this person, help me let go of this burden, help me let go of this trauma, help heal my heart, help deliver me, Lord. Start asking him for help, ask the Lord for help." Begin to ask him in your own way. Don't worry about anybody next to you, this is your breakthrough. There we go. Let the change break. As your heart opens, you will feel the love of God touch you. You will feel the love of God fill you. I know this because I've done this a million times. I've had to forgive constantly, I'm always forgiving and it's always the grace of God that allows me to forgive. Release it. Release it to God. Cast your burdens upon him because he cares for you. Ask him you'll receive. Come on. Let go. Don't come to this altar waiting for people to do it for you. Do it yourself, go to God and let him fill you. It's simple. You ask, you receive. You draw, he draws near to you. You make the first step, he makes 20. He's just waiting on you to partner with him. Thank you, Holy Spirit, have your way in touch.
God's children, Father, we just ask that you touch everyone in here right now and online. Thank you, Holy Spirit. The prayer warriors start laying in here. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. (speaking in foreign language) - He said, "God, if it's in your will for me "to leave this hospital and be reunited with you "at the church." (speaking in foreign language) - He said that I will be their Lord to be present with you. (speaking in foreign language) - And he said, "No." (speaking in foreign language) - And you're not. (speaking in foreign language) - You're not to leave yet. (speaking in foreign language) - And he said, "This leg, I had it very bad, "and I couldn't play with my grandchildren." (speaking in foreign language) - And he said, "This leg, I had it very bad, "and I couldn't play with my grandchildren." (speaking in foreign language) - And grand-grandchildren. (speaking in foreign language) (audience cheering and applauding) - And he said, "Gloria be the God "to the Father that gives me strength."
(audience cheering and applauding) (speaking in foreign language) - He said, "This is my first time coming." (speaking in foreign language) - To this church. (speaking in foreign language) - His daughter. (speaking in foreign language) - Oh, Amber. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - That's my granddaughter. (speaking in foreign language) - That's been telling me to come to the church continuously, come. (speaking in foreign language) - 'Cause I don't know English. (speaking in foreign language) - Come back, they're gonna give you a translation device. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - And I came today. (speaking in foreign language) - Thank God that he brought us. (speaking in foreign language) (audience cheering and applauding) - Look. (speaking in foreign language) (audience cheering and applauding)
(speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (audience cheering and applauding) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (audience cheering and applauding) (speaking in foreign language) (audience laughing) - I asked him, I asked him what was the pain level because of the arthritis and he. (speaking in foreign language) (audience laughing) (speaking in foreign language) - He said I got bicycles, I got canes, I got all types of things, but when I go home, I'm gonna throw it all away. (audience cheering and applauding) He said he had a pain, the pain level was 10 because of the arthritis, because of all of that. And I led him into believing and also receiving by the grace of God, by his strikes we were healed. He believed he came into agreement immediately. Before the prayer was even finished, he started moving his leg and bending it and the pain went to zero, he started saying, "I don't feel nothing." (audience cheering and applauding) She just said that was his desire, but greater was the desire of Christ for him to be healed. So praise the Lord, and he gave up the king.
(speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - No, no, no, no. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - Hallelujah, man, God doesn't move it. Hallelujah, man. (audience cheering and applauding) Can we all go back to our seats real quick? Let's go back to our seats. I wanna play a video real quick. That stuff over there. How many of y'all are encouraged right now? If you need to give your life to Jesus and get baptized tonight, don't leave, okay? Who needs to be baptized tonight? Okay, we got the baptism tank set up. Don't leave, we're going to have an altar card for that. We're just going to play a video on productionist team, we got the video ready. Green like, can we turn off the lights productionist team? Can we hold off on the video for a second? So if we can go back to their seats, can we restart the video productionist team? There we go, thank you, come on, give it up for the productionist team, woo! Alright, y'all ready? Everyone cozy? Alright, remnant cinemas. Er. This is generational curses breaking right here in front of us. And whoever brought up all this witchcraft here could come to the front.
That's all yours? This, this is my son. My son, your son. Alright. Wow. What was my son's? I think it's amazing that you can use your son. Thank you. I really think my son is a prophet because he came home one day from a friend's house or something, and all of a sudden he just was like, "Mom, can we start praying like before we eat dinner? Mom, can we start praying? Mom, can we pray? Mom, can we pray? What made you want to pray? Why do you want to pray? Because I believe in God. [CHEERING] What made you as a mother give it up? I was in a financial blockage. I was worried about how I was going to pay my rent, and I kind of literally was pacing back and forth in my room. Like, "What am I going to do? What am I going to do? What am I going to do? I need." And I was just, I guess, praying in my head unbeknownst to me at the moment. And the very next day I have $1,500 in my bank account, and I was able to pay my rent. And then nothing on my algorithm on my phone has ever been Jesus, has never been church, has never been Christ. And right after the thing happened with my rent, you popped up on my algorithm, and it was the girl who laid her crystals on the altar, and I said, "That's what I want to do. I want to take it to the altar, and I want to surrender it to the Lord." And then the second video I saw of yours was when you went out in the club, and you made that girl quit her bartending job. I've been a bartender my whole life, and I just quit bartending clear. And that's spelled Jesus! Thank you, Lord.
Yeah. Yes, all of it was ours. Yeah. How long were you doing this for? Since 2020, so about six years. Six years. Yeah. What was it like? It's called Ephaya. We would pray to saints and ask them to do things like you said, spill the blood, ask for it, and it'll be done, and it did, and it would happen. Then things would get worse. Yeah. You and your son? Yeah. Y'all can throw away the idols. Come on. Bye, baby. Scoop it into the trash. Here's Jesus some praise, man. Hallelujah, Jesus! This is generational curses breaking right here in front of us. Hallelujah. Father, we bless your daughter and your son. Lord, thank you, Lord. And your word is said that you use whatever it takes. The gospel is being preached. Disciples are being made. The kingdom of God is advancing. We're doing exactly what Jesus said to do before he let's. Go and make disciples. We are seeing a rapid increase of multiplication, and God has given us the vision to build the capacity for the multiplication that he is bringing. What started as small beginnings in the living room, to rented spaces, is turning into something greater. In Second Kings, a light just people came to him and said, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.
This is where we are at. And that's what the Making Disciples Project is all about. To build a house of our own. A resting place for the glory we've carried from place to place. When you give into the Making Disciples Project, you're partnering with us to advance the kingdom of God. And to make room for the generations to come. Psalm 78 says to tell the next generation what God has done so that children not yet born would know him. And most of the people this house is for, they haven't even been born yet. The hands that lay the foundation. As God's cold labors, here is your opportunity to partner with the advancement of God's building. Whatever He tells you to give today, give with a willing heart. You can give right now at theRROC.org/MakingDisciplesProject or text MakingDisciples one word to 53555. A man in one week, that video on all platforms reached millions of people. We've been seeing over the last four or five years, I think it's, I don't know, I think it's like over 4 billion views, or billions of views of people all around the world who have been, been touched by God through what we're doing here in Orlando. So this Making Disciples Project is not just for the local body, it's for the body of Christ all around the world, because what we're doing here is an international vision that's touching people through the digital spaces. Our productions team is growing, we have full-time editors, producers, all types of gifted bezalils like in the Bible who are building the house of God. So you're giving on to this vision, not expanding just here to get a building, but a building to be able to house more editors, more people who are evangelists and different ministers to advance the gospel all around the world, amen. So we're believing for that. We have some good transitionings coming soon for a morning service before the end of the year, sooner than later. So we're growing as a ministry man. So what you guys are giving on to is disciples being made all around the world. Amen. So just whatever the Holy Spirit puts on your heart, you can give, scan the QR code, and then we'll go right into talking about that. Hallelujah. [Applause] [Music] [Music]
[Music] You're so good to us, Jesus. Great are you, great are you, Lord? Great are you, great are you, Lord? Great are you, Lord? Great are you, great are you, great are you, great are you. [Music] All right, Hallelujah. We need to get baptized. We want to give their life to Jesus tonight. If you do, I want you to come to the altar, come to the altar. If you want to come back on that narrow path or you want to come on, run to the altar, come on. Who came here tonight to give their life to Jesus? Amen, my brother. Come on. Let's go, it's time, Lord. It's time. What's your name, man? Oh, it's time. It's time for Jesus. What's your name? Adrian, amen. What's your name? Tasia? Tasia, amen. Thank you. Amen. All right. The gospel's good news that even though we don't deserve us for forgiveness and mercy, he died on the cross force. His blood was shed so that we could be forgiven. Derek, is it you or your son? Son, what's up with what's your name? Huh, what's your name? Troy, cool, man. Even though we deserve to be separated from God for eternity, the mercy of God, the grace of God ran us down to Christ. Gave himself in, took the perfect sacrifice for us, no matter how much we've messed up. And man, what's your name, Samaria, Samara? Welcome, you can't block the love of God. That same love that fueled him to get to the cross is the same love that chased you down to this altar. You didn't bring yourself up here on your own, trust me, it was God. God's love drew you to this altar. He took one step, he finished it for you.
He is Lord, he's the highest power, he did die on the cross and he rose from the dead. It's very simple, put your faith in him in his finished work and decide to follow him and change directions tonight. Not to be perfect, but to trust in the perfect one, not to trust in yourself, but in Jesus. Not to trust in the world, but the lamb who was slain before the foundations of the world. So according to what I just said, you are ready to give your life to Jesus. All right, why don't you guys close your eyes? I just say this, say Jesus, I really believe your Lord. You're the highest power, no one's above you. You died on the cross from my sins. You were buried and rose on the third day in power to give me power. You defeated sin, you defeated death and the grave. And I turn to you, I turn away from the world, I turn away from following myself and I repent and turn to you, Jesus. Your blood forgives me, say I am forgiven. I am forgiven, I am forgiven. In Jesus' name, amen, let's give Jesus some praise. Thank you, Jesus, for saving your children. Just like that picture, you'll go into the fire, Lord, and bring your lambs out the fire. Thank you, Jesus. That's such a prophetic picture. Who needs to be baptized tonight?
One, two, three, four, five, oh, all right. Go ahead towards the exit sign, and y'all go ahead and get dunked under that water, man. You're a good father, man. Come on. Let's get it. And if anyone else needs to be baptized, go ahead. Even if you want to go support your friends and family. Who brought up the, oh, she's getting baptized. Who's the one that gave up the witchcraft? Come here real quick, come here, come here, come here. And then you can go, sorry. Wow, man, look at that. (congregation applauding) (congregation applauding) If you put this up here, too, or no? Who put up this with it with the, (indistinct) Is this a gift for Haley? Oh, this is something else. Okay, we'll talk about that in a second, amen. So you brought up all this? Okay, perfect. Yeah. And what's up? So there's not a specific religion. My family was, and my dad's side of the family was into like Santeria and all that, but I never entered the religion. I chose to have my own, every little knickknock,
I put my own belief in. And then this is part of the, if you put it on, it gives you, like all the bad stuff stays away, but the day you don't put it on, something worse happens. It's like kind of stuff like that, where I realized that it's supposed to be good, but when you don't have any of this, this is material. If you don't have it, that something bad's gonna happen. Oh my God, you don't have to see him, you don't have to, you feel him, and he's no matter what. Yes. He's still gonna be there for you. You don't need an object. No, don't need an object. So this was blessed on when I moved to the house, so I don't want part of that either. I don't, somebody else's stuff. So I just, in my house that I just moved in, so I grabbed it all and just put it on. Yeah, rid of it. Yeah, don't want it. Come on. Yeah. Just want God and Jesus in my life. That's it. That's it. Yeah, different, different idols. So yeah, what you described is idolatry.
It's trusting in. See, this is from the natives, so there's different beliefs, all kinds of things. Yeah, I see that. See that's like Lataya for fighting, and defending against what evil is like. Yeah, look at that. This is cologne to defend against evil. It's supposed to be. So it was all it's holding it off. It's witchcraft it controls you because what happens is that if you can't judge your brain to believe that This is really and so you mean and I still believed in God so I turned every time no matter what that didn't do for me I still prayed to God. Yeah. Yes, I think I feel like I've been cheating on him with this stuff You know the Bible talks about that, but yeah, that's literally where the word fornication comes from It's a though treat by worshipping idols no testament. Yeah, that's just what I feel like and I'm not 100% familiar with the Bible, but I'm learning more You already gave a few verses right now, so you don't even know it But that's the Holy Spirit will lead you to all truth. So you're done with this You're no you're no you're no longer trusting in idols I never it's trying to trust in Jesus. Yes, and um you were here last service, huh? It's your first time here Yes and I asked my That I had some things that I had to get rid of and I didn't know where to take them And she showed me the video like guys just played and it drew me So I came two and a half hours three hours away to be here today. Wow Jesus Where'd you come from? Wow, God is he met you here you experienced the presence of God here. Yes, you ever felt the presence you got before? Yes, so you know, it's him. This is my third time Oh, you know what? I'll tell you this though You're in now
And God loves you and he's still even when you were worshipping idols Unknowingly still there for me didn't give up on you. That's the mercy. It was me giving up without realizing But yeah, he's still chased you down. Yeah, it's how much he loves his daughter Everything's gonna be perfect. You know why cuz of him and you have a community now you can come to get discipleship all that Yeah, so God bless you sister. Thank you so much. All right now. You'll get baptized. We'll get baptized. Come on Crazy crazy land Wait, hold on. Sorry here. Yeah, you can just toss everything Come on you go ahead and toss it yourself and let's give Jesus some praise as you're doing that come on Thank you Jesus send more Lord Send more people who need this Lord Thank you father for what you're doing here at this in your house There we go come on Jesus will run in a fire to rescue one of his lambs Mercy mercy and grace such a powerful picture man That's what he did with his daughter She was worshipping idols. He said now Let me run through this fire and bring her to the rock Man guys, I'm telling you what's happening here is not normal And we need to continue to pray for this and steward this by just thanking God trusting in God And just receiving his love man. He loves his people. He wants people to come out from the darkness man the world and idolatry He's so done with it, man. He's coming back. How many I've been feeling that like he's coming back Another word says it, but I've been feeling. I don't know about you. I've been feeling the turning in my stomach I've been feeling like man He's really coming back And man, he's saving souls left and right people you wouldn't believe huh? Family members friends famous people influence everybody's getting say Jesus is coming back man. So continue to preach the gospel We're gonna take holy communion. You're ready Who has their communion cup? Passing them out so nobody has one. Oh
Okay, okay, so everyone raise your hand. We're gonna pass out the communion cup. We're gonna have pastor Benji come up and give him So you don't have to raise your hand. I'm sorry. Nobody has it. We gotta start We gotta start giving it at the door Okay, sorry, all right You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You (somber music) (soft music) (soft music) (soft music)
(soft music) (soft music) Hey production team, turn up the keys, the instruments. (soft music) (soft music) Can we have some community cups up for the band members as well too? (soft music) (soft music) (soft music) So it looks like everybody have a community cup, hallelujah. Amen, Lord be the God. So before we begin, can I just have everyone just stand and join me as we partake in communion, something that is holy, sacred, beautiful. (soft music) And before we partake in communion, I just want to give everybody just a brief moment of silence just to examine your heart and to release anything. I love to do this because communion is very sacred and we should honor it as such. So whatever you know, that you just need to lay out the feet of Jesus. I'm going to give you a brief moment to do so. (soft music) Amen. Hallelujah, I want to share with you guys a verse from the book of Hebrews chapter 9, verses 11-12. It says, "But Christ came as high priests of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is not of this creation, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood. He entered the most holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption." You see, I want to give you guys a profile understanding of the blood. Because when we have an understanding of what Jesus Christ truly did, we can come to this communion table and we can truly receive it with open arms,
with an open heart. You see, when Jesus allowed his body to be broken, the Holy Spirit gave me a revelation back then when we were praying. You see, Christ went through such suffering that none of us could ever go through. And when that crown of doors was placed on his head, He allowed that to be placed on his head, so that your mind could be at peace. You see, when Jesus Christ, his side was pierced. It allowed an entry point back into the heart of the Father. His side being pierced. You see when Jesus Christ's hands Was pierced it was pierced so that you would never have to work for salvation. It is freely given When his feet was pierced and it was pierced To that cross It was to show that now you can return back to him Because he walked the path that you can never walk He completed that So I want everybody right now to take out the bread Jesus, we hold this bread up as a symbol of your body You who came and entered into creation you step foot in time Space matter You will fully place yourself on that cross Because you knew by you breaking your body you knew what we produced what will come out of your true sons and daughters No longer or friends, but sons Thank you We bless your holy name You father became a father to the fatherless We don't take this for granted. We don't take it lightly. I Want everybody right now to break the bread in half And you all may partake of the body of Jesus Christ Now I want everybody to open up the cup which represents the blood of Jesus
This blood right here Pays all that that you owe In the book of Genesis chapter 15 It describes the ancient practice that was prevalent Where two people they were cut up an animal And they were laid on each side of each other and blood will be spilled and they both would walk the path Symbolizing that as they both walk the path If one breaks the covenant This is what would happen to them? But when you read Genesis 15 God established a covenant with Abraham and he commands that same ceremony To be orchestrated to be constructed But here's the revelation Jesus was the only one who walked through that center Abraham did it Because Jesus is the one who fulfilled it. He fulfills his promises and his promises alone No man can partake and have it say Unfulfilling anything no man can take the glory of God All the glory belongs to him and him alone That should give you rest assurance that you didn't do anything to earn the love of God He loved you with an everlasting love So as we partake in the blood I want us to know the love that surpasses all understanding To know the love of God. I want you to hold a cup of high Hold it high because this is a ceremony This right here washes away all your sins Don't take this lightly Jesus we thank you right now as we hold this cup of high This blood right here wipes out every legal obligation that I hold Every legal obligation that everybody in this church those who are watching online old your blood washes it out Because of your blood Lord you broke every contract that we signed willfully through participation You destroyed it you null and ford did because of your blood
You came to our rescue us who needed a Savior you came to our aid We love you so much Jesus Hope we can say is thank you If there was a greater word than thank you we would use it but all we can say is thank you Thank you, Jesus We take this in your you all may partake in the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah, can we just thank the Lord? (congregation cheering) Hallelujah, what a beautiful service to my family. If you all could just stay standing as we close out in prayer, just join me in prayer. (gentle music) Tonight was so beautiful, and we owe it all to the King of Kings, the Lord of Glory, the Lord of Harvest. I just want everybody right now just to close your eyes. You know what's been keeping me grounded in this season? It's just every time when I close my eyes, I can't help but picture Jesus. Smiling on that cross with blood running down his body, running down his face, and he's smiling. Almost in the sense of, though he was going through such intense suffering, he had joy through it, not because it felt good, but because he knew that true sons and daughters will be produced from his suffering. And that's what allowed him to smile on that cross. Spiritually, he may not have had a physical smile on his face, but I believe,
especially he had the biggest smile on his face because one, he destroyed the works of Satan. He destroyed the works of the enemy, and in two, he gained true sons and daughters of Christ. So, heavenly Father, right now, we just thank you for what you did tonight. We thank you for the word that was preached, that penetrated the hearts of your children. Lord, we ask right now that every seed falls on good soil. We thank you that you give the increase and you're watering the seeds that we receive because in this presence, in your presence, every heart right now is good soil. I thank you that those who are here, those who are watching online, their hearts are good soil. And that seed took deep root in the name of Jesus. So, give us the grace, the empowerment, to walk this walk out as we await your return. You are coming back soon, Lord, but until then, there is a job. There is a mission that you have for us to complete, and we shall go out to the four ends of the world and preach the gospel in Jesus' mighty name. For many will come to the kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus. And I thank you, Lord, that you are breaking off every selfishness in the body of Christ. Well, we are not individuals focused on our own self and our own life, but we are focused on the kingdom at hand.
Thank you, Jesus, for taking us deeper as we experience your love and together the entire house, say amen. Amen, family, God bless you all. And we'll see you back again next Sunday. (gentle music) [BLANK_AUDIO]
