God's Got Your Miracle
In his sermon God’s Got Your Miracle, Pastor Travis Hearn preached a bold and deeply personal message about believing God for the impossible. Drawing from his own miraculous recovery from a life-altering hemorrhagic stroke, Pastor Travis walked the congregation through four declarations: He's got my miracle, I've got my faith, My God can do it all, and So I'm not afraid, reminding us that a miracle is not something we manufacture, but something we trust God to deliver, because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hey, man, you guys can be seated. It is so good to be here in Nashville, Tennessee, and I have only been, this is my third time in this state, in this city, and the biggest difference between Phoenix and Nashville, I would say it's the heat, but it's the kindness, because in Arizona, nobody's nice, literally nobody, and everybody's so loving. And these people with the sign, the poster, I actually saw them at Walmart, I paid them to do that. They're not from, I'm just kidding, it's good to see you guys. I know we got a few former Impact people in the house today, and we're glad that you guys came, and I just wanna say thank you to Pastor Lyle, Pastor Allison, for you guys and your leadership, and having us, and we met at a round table at Elevation Church with Pastor Steven in North Carolina, and so that's, and he didn't say this, but he preached at our church for our Young Adults Conference this last summer, and I mean absolutely slayed, the guy slayed. And so they're good people, y'all. The word is out on Legacy Church, truly, because even though you and I met, I wasn't the person who brought you out to speak yet for Impact Church, it was my young adult leaders, and they're like, you'll never believe, and I didn't even know they knew, like the word is out about not only Pastor Lyle and Allison,
but about Legacy Church. Isn't this a great church, you guys? This is the real deal, and it is an honor to be here today. Just real quick, my name is Travis Hearn, my wife Natalie Hearn in the front row. We've been married for 28 years, you guys, 28 years, and it just keeps getting better and better. I think, do we have a couple pictures? I can't remember, this is a picture of my wife and I, and is there a next picture? Next picture is my family. This is my daughter, Kylie, in the middle with the red hair, Josiah on the end, and he's 22, she's 25, and then Jazzy in the middle is 16. That is the Hearn family. Do we got a next slide? One more slide, I think. One more slide is, it's just kind of what we do with the professional sports athletes, so that is me and Kevin Durant, and me and Shaquille O'Neal, and me and Cameron Johnson, me and Sophia Cunningham, and Larry Fitzgerald, and OBJ, and all these people are a part of our church family, too. I wanted to just kind of show you what we do, but the thing that is most, I guess, impressive about the life of Travis Hearn is Jesus Christ, and it is that he is good, and that I am not, and that I went from jail to Jesus in one night, you guys. Just a very similar story to Pastor Lyle, where I went from jail to Jesus.
At the end of my senior year in high school, I got arrested for a DUI, and put in jail in Phoenix, Arizona, and my mama, who was on fire for Jesus. You know, hey, listen, if there's any praying mamas in here, I just wanna encourage you, don't stop praying. Don't stop praying, because there's power in a praying mama, and my mom, she picked me up from jail, and led me to Jesus that night. But I wanna open in prayer. Would you guys mind bowing and closing your eyes? Let's pray. God, thank you for today. Thank you for your word. Thank you always for the presence of God Almighty. Thank you, God, for being in our lives today. We pray that you would speak to us, that you would move us, that you would encourage us, that you would challenge us, that you would change us, God, that these words would be your words, and that you would have your way today. We ask this in Jesus' name, we all say. Amen. Amen, amen, amen. How many are ready for the word of God this morning? Anybody ready? High five your neighbor and tell him, I'm ready. High five your neighbor. High five your second choice of your neighbor
and tell him, are you ready? Are you ready? I don't know maybe what you walked in here carrying today, but I do know that many of you walked into church today desperate for a miracle. And Pastor Lyle talked about the theme today being the miraculous. And many of you here, you need a miracle. What I'm trying to say is like, maybe you walked in here heavy burdened or maybe you walked in here exhausted in your soul. Maybe you walked in here suffocating in anxiety. Maybe you are struggling or maybe battling addiction and maybe you're battling it in silence. Maybe you're fighting for your life today. Maybe you're desperate for a healing. Maybe you're desperate for your marriage. Maybe you're desperate for a prodigal child. Maybe it's a financial situation. I don't know, maybe it's shame that you can't seem to shake. Maybe it's waiting on a breakthrough that feels like it's been delayed or roadblocked. Maybe it's standing in the middle of uncertainty today. Maybe it's, listen, maybe it's today that you're like one prayer away. from giving up and that's really who I want to speak to today and maybe you're here today and you're like man I don't need a miracle Pastor Travis like life is good I hope that you'll book this mark bookmark this message because there'll be a time that you do maybe you have a friend a family member that needs a miracle there's one thing that I know today is that some of us need a miracle
so I came all the way from Arizona not only to preach a sermon on miracles but to put a soundtrack to your miracle today a soundtrack for your healing a soundtrack for your desperation a soundtrack for your freedom a sound track for your prodigal child a soundtrack for your marriage listen I came from Arizona today to put a soundtrack to your miracle when we sing he's God would you just see it one more time I've got my faith come on my God can do it all do you believe that today that he can do it all so I'm not afraid he's got my miracle and so I've got my praise because we're gonna praise God anyways I've seen him do it all come on if you believe that he is the God of miracles would you put your hands together amen amen amen because I believe thank you guys you guys are incredible this this worship team is so anointed you guys know how spoiled you are in Nashville yeah I don't know if you know if you don't know come to Arizona you'll see how spoiled you are in Nashville but I I just believe that I believe in miracles I mean I don't know where you stand in your life today but there are some things in your life right now today that they don't need motivation they need a miracle that listen God's got your miracle would you say it out loud God's got my miracle come on say it out loud God's got my miracle tell the person you love today God's got your miracle God's got your miracle and if you're in need of a miracle today I want you to know this I want you to know this that my family and I we are right there with you we need a miracle we're we're desperate for a miracle it's not that we need a miracle we're desperate for a miracle a miracle that keeps me up at night maybe you don't know what I'm talking about but but something that I think about all day every day something that it doesn't seem to go away that we need God to do what only God can do and by the way that is the very foundation of a miracle is that you can't do it I can't do it and I would do anything to make this miracle happen but the reality is I cannot do it that's the whole point of a miracle because only God can do it it is the very definition of a miracle man I don't know I've tried I've tried have you ever been in a situation where you just you've
tried everything come on y'all just staring at me man I thought this was like part of the Bible Belt like my church is at least amen and they you know when you when somebody talks you talk back you know it's like that kind of deal I can feel yeah you're right the banner the poster would be helpful you know amen PT you know like let's normalize that I I don't know I don't know like I I've needed a miracle so desperately that I've tried everything I've tried everything I mean I've tried to make it happen I've tried to force it to happen I've tried to manipulate it into happening I've tried to talk it into happening but only God can do it and if that's you today I want to remind you what God reminded me of in Zechariah chapter 4 verse 6 he said not by might and not by power but by my spirit says the Lord Almighty I want to read it again not by might and not by power but by my spirit says the Lord Almighty we have needed a miracle so bad I wish I could tell you what it is we're so desperate for this miracle that it keeps me up at night and about two months before Resurrection Sunday he God woke me up at 330 a.m. and he and he put a new song in my heart and in this new song even by the way it's Psalm 40 verse 3 you guys maybe you probably know this in Nashville Tennessee but this is the scripture that says he put a new song in my mouth a hymn of praise to our God would you read it with me come on he put a new song in my mouth a hymn of praise to our God and God gave me a new song I woke up I woke up at 330 a.m. and and he gave me this song he this song is he's got my miracle I've got my faith my God can do it all so I'm not you guys I'm not even a singer but God gave me a song you know I'm saying Like I'm a preacher, a pastor, but God gave me a song. And it wasn't that he was giving me a song, it was that he was giving me a promise in the form of a song. Something that I could remind myself over and over and over again that he's got my miracle. In fact, that's my message today.
It's simply four quick points and it's the points of this chorus. And I wanna just kind of run through these. Point number one, if you're taking notes, and I hope this is a reminder that encourages your faith, is he's got my miracle. That's point number one, he's got your miracle. Listen, that's his part. Did you hear me? That's his part. He's got your miracle and that's his part. He's got your miracle, that means he's got it. Listen to me, listen to me. Some of you need to hear this in the spirit, not in your mind, in your brain, but in your spirit. Listen to me, he's got it. He's got it. He's got your situation. God sees you, God sees it. This didn't catch God by surprise. You know what I'm saying? This didn't catch God off guard and he's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what just happened? No, God knows about it, he sees about it. He's in the middle of it. Listen, he's got your miracle. You don't have to try to make up your, he's got your miracle. That means the pressure is off you. Listen, that means that you don't have to stress about it,
you don't have to worry about it, you don't have to manufacture it, you don't have to force it, you don't have to figure it out because he's got it. This is why scripture tells us in Philippians chapter four, verse six and seven, Jesus, he's so good, he gives us a scripture about our worry and our angst and he says, don't be anxious about anything. Let's read it together. Don't be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I've preached that, I've read that, I've prayed that, it feels like thousands of times and then I read it today and it feels like the first time I've ever read it. That the peace, that the peace of God, it surpasses all understanding. That man, it looks like I should be going through hell, that even though it looks like I am going through hell, but I'm surrounded by heaven and protected by a hedge of protection, even though, even though I'm going through the middle of the fire, that God is with me, even though I feel like I'm in the lion's den, that God is shutting the mouths of the lions,
that he says, don't be anxious about anything. Instead by prayer, by petition, he says, take your request to God and the peace of God says will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Not by might, not by power, but by the spirit, says the Lord. Listen, I got news for you, if you can think your way into it, if you can talk your way into it, if you can buy your way into it, it's not a miracle. A miracle is something that you cannot do. Listen, a miracle is when God does what is not possible. He does the impossible. It says in Matthew chapter 19, verse 26, with man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible. But with God, all things are possible. My Bible says, now all glory to God who is able. It doesn't say he is sometimes able, or maybe he's able, it says my God is able through his mighty power at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. So I wanna get into this just a little bit longer. You can stop playing for just a few minutes and I appreciate you, but I wanna get into this for a minute because did you know that you cannot, that it is impossible to be a Christian without believing in miracles? Did you know that?
You literally cannot define yourself as a Jesus follower and a Christian without believing in miracles because miracles is the very foundation of the entire Christian faith. It's the resurrection story of Jesus Christ. It's nothing short of miraculous. Listen, either the resurrection was the greatest miracle in human history or it was the biggest lie in human history. And there's been some really big lies like Y2K or a lot of COVID. Come on, somebody don't act like you don't know. Like I know, I mean, there's been some big, there's been some big old lie. I mean, either the resurrection of Christ is really a miracle or it's a lie. And we all know it's why we're here today. 2000 years later on the other side of the world, that the resurrection is the greatest miracle in human history. Did you know that the Bible, all 66 books, not 65, not 64, not 62. All 66 books of the Bible are filled from Genesis to revelation with miracle after miracle, after miracle, after miracle, I mean, some of my favorites are creation. Have you ever tried to make something out of nothing? I mean, creation that God created everything. I mean, all of it out of nothing that God part of the red sea. God gave us the 10 commandments. He spoke to Moses through a burning bush. He speaks through Balaam, through a donkey. Are you kidding me? He makes an ax head float. Daniel and the lions in Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in a fiery furnace. Those are old Testament.
Just some of them in the new Testament. Jesus, he performed miracle after miracle. His first one was he turned water into wine. He healed the sick. He healed the lame. He healed the blind. He healed the deaf. He healed the mute. He healed, he healed people's bodies. He delivered the demon possessed. He raised Lazarus from the dead. He raised Jairus's daughter from the dead. Miracles on miracles. What I'm trying to say is you cannot be a Christian without believing in miracles because Christianity is built on the very foundation of miracles, but hold on because I'm not just talking about believing in the miracles of the Bible. I'm talking about believing in modern day miracles that God still does the same type of miracles that he did in the Bible today. Because my Bible says in Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. He's not different that he's the same yesterday, today and forever. The resurrection isn't just something that he did. It's something that he still does. He's got your miracle. That's his part. Number two, I've got my faith. That's my part. Does anybody have faith in the room today? Come on, you got faith. You watch it online today.
Anybody got faith? That's only about 20% of the people in this room that are putting their hands together. They say, I got a little bit of faith. The Bible doesn't say you got to have a lot of bit of faith. It says just a little bit of faith, just a faith as small as a mustard seed. You said it, that you could say to this mountain that it shall move and it shall move. Just a little bit of faith. Paul said, for I walk by, Paul said, for I walk by faith and not by, I walk by faith and not by sight. That means that I don't move based on what I see. I move based on what he said. Because what I see lies to me. What I see lies to me because faith is not having all the right answers, it's trusting in the one who does. Sight might say it's over, but faith says God is just getting started. Sight might say there's no way, but faith says God already made a way. Sight might say that you're too far gone, but faith says God likes to meet people that too far gone. Sight says that this is dead, but faith says the resurrection is coming. Listen, some of you are letting what you see talk you out of what God said. You've been staring at that report. You've been staring at that diagnosis, you've been staring at that bank account, you've been staring at that relationship. You've been staring at your past. Listen, and it's been preaching louder to you than the word of God. Stop letting your situation prophesy your future. Stop letting your situation prophesy your future. He's got my miracle and I've got my faith. I guess maybe y'all just don't know like I know. I guess you don't know like I know, because if you knew like I knew, you'd be as excited
as I am, because some of y'all just don't know like I know, because maybe you never needed the kind of miracle that I've needed. But I am a living, breathing, walking, talking testimony about the supernatural power of our living God. If Ephesians 3.20 could be in human form, you would be looking at it. Because three years ago, I suffered a massive brain bleed, hemorrhagic stroke. It came out of nowhere. If you know anything about medical, if you know anything about a stroke, a hemorrhagic stroke, if you know anything about it, I had a brain bleed. It was a massive brain bleed, hemorrhagic stroke in the basal ganglia area of my brain, which is right above the brain stem. I lost my speech. I'm a preacher. I lost my cognition. I lost my motor skills. I lost my ability to move. I couldn't walk, I couldn't talk, I couldn't think, I couldn't move. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? I was a vegetable. It came out of nowhere. I was ambulance to a hospital. Then I was helicoptered to a level one trauma center. Listen, we needed a miracle. The doctors told my wife that there are strokes and there are the mother of strokes. This would be the mother. They told my wife, Natalie, who's sitting here on the front row, that this particular stroke,
the effects of it are irreversible. What they're trying to tell Natalie is, if your husband does make it, this is the condition he's gonna stay in for the rest of his life. But this woman of God, if there's anybody that's single in the room today, who you marry is the second most important decision in your life. Next to choosing Jesus, the spouse that you choose is the second most important decision that you make in your entire life. And I married a woman of God. I married a woman who's gonna storm the gates of hell and pray down heaven. Listen, listen, I married a woman of God who's filled with faith. My wife heard what that doctor said, but she refused to listen to what that doctor said. Hey, you really gotta be careful who you listen to. You gotta be careful what you fill your ears with because it fills your soul with it. And she went from this doctor to the great physician. And she said, God, I heard what he said. I heard what the doctor said, but I need to know what my great physician says. I need a scripture to hold on to. She goes to the Bible, and the first verse she comes to, can we put this picture up?
The first verse that she comes to, she climbs in the hospital bed with me. She posted this on her Instagram story. By faith, in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong, it is Jesus's name, and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him. As you can all see, Legacy Church, can you all see it? Because God did the impossible. And what God did for me, he can do for you because you just preached last week that God is not fair, but he is fair, but he's not fair the way we want him to be fair. And what I'm trying to say is scripture says he's no respecter of persons. He doesn't love me more than he loves you. Your call is not bigger or greater than my call. What God did in me, God wants to do in you. Listen, the doctor said that the effects were irreversible. Sometimes I think God lets a situation just go so far so that human eyes and minds are not gonna be able to comprehend what God just did. He said the effects are irreversible. Shoot, irreversible, come on, somebody. I mean, let me tell you something. I know a man that built his entire reputation off of reversing the law. He built his entire reputation off of reversing the irreversible.
He brings dead things back to life. He turns crucifixions into resurrections. I don't know what situation that you're in today, but I have a God who is reverse-able. He reverses the irreversible. Listen, did you know that cancer's not bigger than an empty tomb? Depression is not stronger than an empty tomb. Your past is not more powerful than an empty tomb. Your situation is not darker than an empty tomb. Your failure is not final because that grave was not final. Listen, if God can raise a dead savior, God can raise a dead marriage. If God can roll away a stone, he can roll away whatever's been blocking you. If God can bring life out of a grave, he can bring life out of whatever had you buried. Listen, let me tell you something. If it looks dead, then God is not done because he's got your miracle and I've got my faith. That's my part. Number three, my God can do it all. My God can do it all. Some of you need to say it out loud. My God can do it all. You know, you're not saying that for me. You're saying that for you because scripture says that your words have the power of life and death. So start speaking it.
My God can do it all. My God can do it all. My God can do it all. He can't just do some of it. My God can do it all. Then nothing is impossible for my, my God can do it all. You know what that means? It means that's his part. That means I don't serve a limited God. That means I don't serve a struggling God. I don't serve a halfway, almost. Barely enough God. I serve a more than able do-it-all God that through it all He will do it all come on somebody that my God can do it all and all all means all I Don't know I'm tired of the Christian game in America I'm ready to see people die for Christ. I'm ready to see people stop going to church and becoming the church I'm ready for religion to die and the explosive Holy Ghost power of Acts chapter 2 to start sweeping across our nation I'm tired of checking boxes for Jesus, and I'm tired of a church across America That's about consumerism showing up every Sunday feed me pastor Lyle feed me pastor Travis feed me what you got for me today Consumerism Oh worship was good for who you were God oh Oh That sermon was good for you or God consumerism consumer Christianity It's infiltrated a United States of America consume look we got to get away from consumer Christianity and get back to cross-bearing Christianity men and women of God that are willing to to bear the cross of Jesus Christ listen what I'm trying to say is not Cliche my God can do it all I told you some of y'all maybe don't know like I know but he's done it and He can do it Because what he's done is a receipt of what he can do in the future And he said earlier he said start telling God tell God tell God thank him thank him for this Thank him for that. Thank him for getting you through. Thank him for waking you up. Thank him
Thank him those are things that he did those are receipts. That's proof That's proof That he's done it before and he'll do it again my God can do it Oh, this is why Matthew 19 26 says that with man This is impossible, but with God all things are possible This is why he said that that he is able to do immeasurably more More than all we can ask or imagine I always tell my church. I said if God is a like do we believe that verse? Three of you believe that verse that God is able to do exceedingly Abundantly more I believe I'm getting hot up here. I'm sweating through my shirt. I'm gonna sweat I sweat through everything I wear Everywhere it could be icy outside. I I'm here. I'm here to work family. I'm going to work for you. I'm going to work for you I believe it's so much. I got a 320 tattoo right here I got it meet me and me and one of my congregants Odell Beckham jr. Went and got matching 320 tattoos right there because we believe that he is able I'm asking do you believe he's a like do you believe it? Because the faith is small as a mustard like do you really believe it? He says my God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more Than anything we can ask or imagine or think which indicates to me if that's true I'm gonna keep asking imagining and thinking I'm gonna keep dreaming and if I'm gonna dream I might as well dream big I might as well ask for the world if it goes for God's glory Jeremiah said all sovereign Lord nothing is too difficult for you Nothing Nothing Nothing's too nothing nothing's too big for God Listen somebody needs to hear me today if it's broken my God can fix it Listen if it's lost my God can find it if it's wasted my God can redeem it if it's bound My God can free it if it's dead my God can resurrect it We have seen it over and over and over and over so let me build your faith today
If my God can do anything my God can do your thing All throughout scripture we see this same pattern This same pattern it shows up over and over again Who will roll the stone away there walking the herd he was raised from who will roll the stone away? But when they looked up the stone was already moved In Exodus 14 they're panicking about the sea, but God had already prepared for the sea in 2nd Chronicles 20 they were preparing for battle But God said you won't even have to fight this battle in John 11 They thought that Lazarus is dead and they thought that Jesus was late, but Jesus is always on time He's always always always on time always on time. He is never late Unfortunately, he's never early either I would love to be like God you're early because Come on somebody, like he's never late, he's always on time. In 1 Samuel 17, they were intimidated by a giant that God had already assigned his defeat. In Daniel chapter six, they expected lions to devour them, but God had already shut their mouths. You're not feeling what I'm trying to get you to, what I'm trying to say is they were stressing over problems that God had already solved. They were worrying about obstacles that God had already removed. They were preparing for battles that God had already won. They were grieving for what looked dead, but it was already going to be resurrected. And some of you walked in here today, and you've been thinking, who's gonna fix this? How's this gonna get fixed? How's this gonna turn around?
When's this gonna change? But God sent me to tell you that your miracle is already in motion, that your miracle is already in the making, so don't lose hope. You've been crying about something that's already been conquered. You've been fearing something that's already finished. Come on, you've been stressing about something that's already been settled. It looks dead, but it's not. Listen, if it looks dead, if it looks dead, you're not late. You just might be a little early to the resurrection. Come on, if God is in it, there is no limit. If God is in it, there is no limit. If God is in it, there is no limit. So that thing that you've been stressing about, that situation that you've been losing sleep over, that prayer that you've been wondering if God heard, guess what, he not only heard it, but he's not intimidated by it. He's already working on it. He's already in the middle of it. He's already moving behind the scenes because while you're trying to figure it out, God already has it all worked out. All means all, all means all, family. So he's got my miracle, I've got my faith. My God can do it all. Point number four is so I'm not afraid.
That's my part. So I'm not afraid. Let's talk about it. Because Isaiah 41 10, you know this verse. He says, do not fear for I am with you. Come on, let's read it out loud together. Do not fear for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you and I will uphold you with my right hand. Do not, he says, do not fear. He says, do not fear. He says, do not fear. That doesn't mean you're not gonna feel fear at times. It means that fear doesn't get the final word faith does. It means I've cried, but I keep coming. It means that I've tried, but I keep trusting. It means that I've doubted, but I'm not gonna quit believing. It means that I've been hit, but I didn't quit. Listen, I might feel fear, but I don't follow fear. He said, fear not, do not fear, not, not fear. Why, why, why? Because he said, I am with you. This is the best part. This is the hot sauce right here. He said, do not fear, because I am with you. He didn't say, don't fear, just be stronger than that. Like, hype yourself. No, he said, don't fear, because I am with you. It mirrors, it parallels with one of my favorite verses
in the Bible, Psalm chapter 23, verse four, where David said, even though I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, because you are with me. Even though I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, because you are with me. It reminds me that he's with, look, he's with me. I'm not afraid, because he's with me. I'm walking into hard times, dark times, low times, but he is with me. I will fear no evil, not because I'm strong, not because I'm fearless, not because I've got it all together, but because he is with me. I think that scripture's so cool. He says, through the valley of the shadow of death. He said, even though. He didn't say, there might be a time. You know, just be ready. Stay ready, so you ain't got to get ready. There might be a time. When you go through without, no, he said, even though, they're coming. Valleys are a part of life. They're inevitable. Valleys are going to happen. I wish we could schedule our valleys. Wouldn't that be convenient? Like, Lord, okay, if I gotta have three this year.
He said, even though. He said, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow. The word shadow might be my favorite word in this scripture, other than the Lord is with me. The word shadow, because he doesn't say the valley of death. He says the valley of the shadow of death, and there's something I've learned about shadows. Shadows are always bigger than reality. Shadows, they never hurt anybody. Anywhere there's a shadow, there's also a light, and if you turn and look directly into the light, the shadow falls directly. behind you and Jesus said for I am the light of the world and whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life so he says even though I walk through the shadows listen it's not the absence of a valley it's the presence of a shepherd because when the shepherd is with you we can live through what should have killed you and when the shepherd is with you panic won't possess you because he is with you so I'm not afraid I'm not afraid my part is not to work the miracle that's his part my part is to trust him to keep walking to keep believing to keep praising my part is to say I'm not losing hope I've got my faith what do you do with the miracle it's called a testimony you tell the world yeah even if they're trying to plug their ears you got a story about God's glory listen to me there is a responsibility and a stewardship that goes with a miracle there is a stewardship that goes with the test it's called a testimony that God takes your message all the way back when it was a mess does this conversion experience your pastor was in jail many times he told me this morning the last time was what friday night or something he was pretty says he was preaching in north carolina
my wife was a drug addict a crystal meth addict she went to college got wrapped up in the wrong people let me tell you something who you run with you become one with maybe the best decision you can make in your life today is to cut some people out of your circle because your circle is your ceiling I've been praying about being here and I've been texting pastor Lyle because I really don't personally have anything to tell you or preach to you other than God's word and his goodness all the introduction and the church and the numbers of people and even the athletes and stuff that's that's just what God's doing it's not what I'm not doing anything I'm just trying to follow God all of a sudden I meet up with men and women of God and we're hearing my prayer is not for you to go oh great sermon I don't really care if it's good or bad I want to move of God I want to move of God I want God to do what only he can do would you play with us into that he's got my Mary this is what I want to do for just a minute would you would you bow your heads with me and would you close your eyes I just want to move of God I just want to move of God don't you want to move of God I mean don't you want God to just hijack the service and just just like take over like I'm out I'm out the way God do do whatever you got to do God do whatever you're willing to do listen are you willing to let God do whatever he wants to do are you willing are you willing to open your soul and open your heart and open your mind are you willing to lay down your pride are you willing to lay down your ego are you willing oh man because this is this is a scripture says it pride comes in the fall and I just feel like man there's so much pride in all of us and myself included like God forgive us of our pride God forgive us of our insecurities God forgive us of our lust forgive us God of our greed forgive us of our critical hearts and judgmental spirits forgive us of not getting in the game and watching other people get in the game forgive us of not serving in our church and watching other people serve forgive us for not giving to help build the kingdom of God and watching everybody else give God forgive us for being selfish Christians God forgive us of being consumer Christians and not cross-bearing Christians because cross-bearers let me tell you something it's going to cost everything you've got it's going to cost everything you've got it's going to cost everything you've got and I got news for you today Peter was in that boat and Jesus called him out to walk on water and he steps over the boat into the water and he begins to walk until he starts to look at the wind and the waves and then he begins to sink two things listen god's got your miracle but i believe your miracle is on the other side of your step of faith
