and that's a buzzword around here. We have a word for this year and that word is trust, confident trust in the Lord. And to remind ourselves every single Sunday we declare Hebrews chapter 10 verses 35 through 37, not out of religious routine, but to make sure that the Word of God is cemented in our heart and in our soul. So we're gonna read it again with uplifted, caffeinated voices. Y'all ready? Remember, you don't go till I say so. All right, good. So, remember patient endurance is what you need now so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that He has promised for in just a little while the coming one will come and not delay. Come on, you believe it? And then remain standing. We're gonna jump into our text for today. We have been in a series called trust issues, trust issues. And if you're just joining us today, I diagnosed all of us at the beginning of this series and I said we all have trust issues. And so we've been going week by week and I want to look at one of the most unusual, strange, and honestly scurrious verses of Scripture in the New Testament. I want to look at Acts chapter 4 today. We'll start in verse number 32 and we'll go all the way into Acts chapter 5. Acts chapter 4, starting at verse number 32. When you're ready to read it, say, yeah, yo. If you're still looking for it, say, how lot? I heard it in the social use section. It's on the screen. Come on, y'all. Acts chapter 4, starting at verse number 32, and it says, all the believers were united in heart and mind, and they felt that what they owned was not their own. So they shared everything they had. The Apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and God's great blessing was upon them all That's a good place to look at your neighbor and say you're blessed. You're blessed. You're blessed There were no needy people among them Because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the Apostles to give to those in need For instance, there was Joseph The one the Apostles nicknamed Barnabas which means son of encouragement He was from the tribe of Levi and came from the island of Cyprus He sold a field he owned and brought the money to the Apostles chapter 5

but There was a man named Ananias Who with his wife Sapphira? sold some property He brought part of the money to the Apostles claiming it was the full amount With his wife's consent, he kept the rest. She knew about it. Sister girl knew about it and Peter said Ananias Why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit and you kept some of the money for yourself The property was yours to sell or not to sell as you wished and after selling it The money was also yours to give away. In other words, did nobody make you do this? How could you do a thing like this you weren't lying to us but to God as Soon as Ananias heard these words he fell to the floor and died Everyone who heard about it was terrified. I bet they were Then some young man got up wrapped him in a sheet and took him out and buried him That's why I'm gonna stop reading but that is not the end of the story. Oh, yeah, some of y'all's feet hurt So I'm gonna give you the Wikipedia version three hours later His wife Sapphira comes and lies just like him and she Drops down dead and they bury her next to him They lived together They lied together They died together and Then got buried beside each other. Oh, why is this in the Bible? That's not the question. I want to deal with today I do have a question that I want to use as my title. I want to talk to you from this thought Where does it go?

Where Does it go do me a favor help me preach we do it every week Come on get in somebody's personal space get in their face and just say neighbor. I want to know Where does it go? Look at your other neighbors say other neighbor. I don't even know what it is But I want to know Where does it go? If you believe God's gonna speak to you today, would you give us some praise in advance? Come on for the words. You're about to hear God have your way today Amen you may be seated in the presence of the Lord. Where does it go? Quick little sermonic survey How many would say by a showing of hands you have a Netflix account? Can I see your hand if you have a Netflix account? Oh my lord. Keep it lifted. Look at all these hands. Y'all are blessed Nobody's on to be all y'all got Oh Y'all got Netflix accounts well, if you lifted up your hand and I'm sure you're aware of the fact that sometimes you could be watching a series on Netflix and before the next episode starts You'll hear these words Announced or it'll come up on the screen. It'll say previously on this series blank this happened and the reason Netflix does that is because they know That you probably dozed off on one of the episodes And so before they tell you where the story is going. They want to remind you where the story has been I say that to say previously on trust issues began this series talking about expired trust we looked at Exodus 16 where God and his goodness Emancipated the children of Israel out of slavery and here they are about to walk into the promise

But right when they ran out of food and water, they ran out of trust They ran out of trust and God had to prove to them I am every single thing that you need and remember he calls bread to come down From heaven and that bread wasn't normal bread. The Bible says it was frosted like flakes Y'all remember I had some frosted flakes and I reminded you that that manna from heaven was not given to them in a month's supply Or a week's supply. It was daily Daily manner why because God was teaching them. I want you to depend on me every single day of your life That was episode one week two I preached another message out of Luke 16, and I asked a simple question can I speak to the To the manager we understood that we are not the owners of anything, but we are the managers of Absolutely everything just because it's in your hand doesn't mean it's yours. You are a manager And the danger of being a manager is when you manage money Money is the only thing that has the potential to become your master That's what mammon does it wants to control you and I had a six nine dude pick me up To show you what mammon wants to do money wants to control you, but we understood money. You are not my master I don't get my identity from you. I don't get my security from you. I get that from god And then last week I preached the message Preach what you? Practice we talking about practice preach what you practice and we understood what the bible has to say about Tithing about the tide not tied. That's detergent But about the tithe and I showed you from the word of god But I also showed you from my own life that this is a practice i've been doing for years Remember, I showed you the receipts. I scrolled the history of my push pay given I didn't show you the amount because that's none of your business And I went through and I showed you that before we even planted this church when I was a part of another church just attending This was something that I put into practice and i've never seen god fail me yet All of these messages different titles different passages of scripture are all getting us to consider one Critical question and that question is this this is the question of life Do you trust god? Do you trust him?

Not just do you believe in him not just do you love him do you? trust him We understand that the issue Underneath every issue is really just a trust issue. Somebody say trust Come on, say what you just say trust Trust is funny, isn't it? Isn't it isn't it interesting the things that you naturally trust and the things that you don't trust Isn't it funny the people that you naturally trust and then the other people that you just look at and you're like Uh, I don't trust you just the way you walked in the room Let's me know. I don't need to trust you trust is Interesting. I think I told you before that for 16 years of my life I traveled and spoke at different churches. So the airport was basically my office and I learned that if you ever Want to exercise trust all you got to do is book a flight Book a flight and you will exercise trust. I used to say if you want to know if you're full of the spirit fly spirit But we see where that is today, so I can't even use that No more i'm telling you if you want to test your trust just book a flight and here's how I know y'all I have been On thousands of flights thousands of flights and I have almost never met the pilot I've never interviewed him. I've never seen the pilot's resume I've never sat on the plane and say hold on before y'all take off Let me see what grades he made in flying school that has never happened to me. All I ever hear is the pilot's voice Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking and that voice is enough for me y'all I will just sit down buckle my seat get my bisque off cookies and all of a sudden I have trusted a man I cannot see with my life Oh, but you know who I don't trust at the airport I don't trust the people behind that rubber curtain after I have checked my luggage At the airport. No, let's talk about it. Let's talk about it I don't trust I trust the pilot with my life But I don't trust whoever is behind that little rubber curtain when I check in my bag I don't trust those people. First of all who is back there y'all

Who is that oompa loompas? I don't know kindly who is back there that is taking care of my bags I know sometimes i've got my bag and it looked like the incredible hulk was back there Just smashing it the entire time before I got it. I want to know who's behind there It's such an interesting experience you get to the counter when you get to the counter They tag it they scan it if I went pt they put heavy Always on it and then roll their eyes And then all of a sudden you watch What you value go behind that rubber curtain and disappear and all of a sudden you don't see it again Hopefully into the carousel Because once that bag disappears There's an invisible Infrastructure between the counter where you checked it and the carousel where you picked it up I can't see the belts the scanners the handlers or the carts Or any of the transfers And yet that is the place where my trust gets uncomfortable. When what I have released moves beyond what I can see, that's where my trust gets shaky. Because at the counter, I know where my luggage is. But at the carousel, I know where it is. But it's that space in between that makes me nervous. That got me thinking, social fam. Because there may be no area where the tension is greater than when somebody gives money to a church. Think about it. You know when the money leaves your hands. The question becomes, where does it go? Where does it go? And I think that that is a fair question. In fact, I think it is a healthy question.

Because biblical faith and trust has never meant the absence of accountability. Did you hear what I just said? Biblical faith and trust has never meant the absence of accountability. I've said it throughout this series. We have to be honest that the capital C church has not done the greatest job in talking about money and integrity around money. Can we be honest? There is a reason why some people, when they come to church, and the moment you mention money, they start twitching. And they have trust issues. And I understand where that comes from. Come on, it comes from seeing these prosperity preachers on TV. Talking about, ooh, God told me to tell you that if you sow this seed of $10,000, you're gonna be rich tomorrow. It comes from these TikTok YouTube prophets who prophesy and say, if you sow $10,000 today, you're gonna be a millionaire tomorrow. How can people not have trust issues? How many know there's a reason a skit called Mega Church Pastors Love Money by Drewski went viral? There's a reason why that went viral. In fact, when that thing dropped, somebody asked me, PR, what'd you think about it?

What'd you think about it? And I had to be honest. I'm like, yo, funny is funny. First of all, it was funny. Y'all don't know your pastor. If I was not preaching the gospel, I would be Drewski making these skits. This is what I would do. This is a frustrated actor up on this stage. I would be doing it. So I had to be honest. It was funny because watch this. Comedy only works when the exaggeration touches on something people recognize. So I thought it was funny, but then I was grieved because I'm tired of the church giving the world material. I'm tired of people who will never set foot in a church because somebody behind the pulpit manipulated something around money. When you look at scripture, it is abundantly clear that money and the need for integrity have been connected from the very beginning of the church. In fact, the same way that you cannot separate the fact that Jesus talked about money, don't miss this, more than he talked about prayer, more than he talked about faith, in the same way you can't separate that from the ministry of Jesus, you cannot separate or tell the story of the early church without talking about money.

It's in Acts chapter one. Read it when you get to the crib. Have you noticed what happened in Acts chapter one before the Holy Spirit came in the upper room? What was the first order of business in the room? Peter gets up in the boardroom and the first thing they did was talk about Judas, the original hater. He said, y'all know that Judas betrayed us, so we have to find a replacement for Judas. That was the first order of business, to replace Judas. And what did Judas do? He betrayed Jesus and he did not betray him for free. He betrayed him for, ooh, betrayed him for money, even bought a field with the money that he got from betraying Jesus. It's funny, even in John chapter 12, a woman named Mary comes and she breaks expensive perfume. Y'all, this is worth a year's wages and she does it out of the abundance of the gratefulness of her heart in front of Jesus. And the first one to say something, the first person in the comment section was Judas, talking about you don't take all of that. That money could have been given to the poor. And then John tells on Judas and say, he really didn't care about the poor because he was actually stealing the money. Ain't that funny? The one that's talking about,

y'all don't do enough from the poor, was the very one that was stealing money from the offering. You cannot remove money from the early church. All of a sudden, the Holy Spirit fills the upper room. They're all speaking in tongues. And what happens after that? Peter and John walk out of that meeting. And as they walk out, they see a man, as they're going to pray, who is lame. And what do they say to him? Silver and gold, I do not have. He was begging for. They said, silver and gold, I do not have. But what I do have, I give you. Ooh, I got a pause right there because that's a good stewardship principle right there. How many know good stewardship begins with you knowing what you don't have? and what you do have. God is not gonna hold you accountable for something that you do not have. How many know God's not gonna hold me accountable for how good I swam and gave him the glory? You know why? Because I can't swim. He's not gonna hold me accountable for how I sang to give him the glory, because that ain't my thing. But he is gonna hold me accountable for every gift that he put on the inside of me and ask me, what did you do with what I put in you? And he's gonna ask you, what did you do with the gift that I put on the inside of you? They said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk in the name of who? In the name of Jesus. I love that. They said, we ain't got no money, but we do have one thing. We have a name. And I wish somebody today could get that revelation that if you have the name of Jesus, if you have given your life to him, you have every single thing that you need. See, some of y'all giving that little golf clap because you think your value is in your valuables. You think your significance is in your stuff. You think that

your net worth is your network. But I came to tell you that your worth can be found in one name, and his name is Jesus. And once you know you got that name, you can be broke and still give him the glory. You can be rich and know this money doesn't define me, because my worth and my value is in one name, and his name is Jesus. I wish somebody would give God a praise break like, you know, all that I am, all of my worth, all of my value is in one name. Y'all recording this? I'm going to watch it later. It's blessing me. You ever see how ridiculous some people look flexing names? Most of these designers, most of the things we love that we assess value to, they're names. Gucci, that's a name. Louis Vuitton, that's a name. Rolls Royce, that's two last names. You think you value because of those names? I'm going to flex the one name that loved me enough to die on a cross for my sins. That is my value. It's in that name. Post that tomorrow. I got value because of his name. He said, in the name of Jesus, get up and walk. And that man walked. And watch this. His movement started a movement. It started a movement. All of a sudden, the church starts flourishing. It starts growing by the thousands. Y'all, the early church, I hate to tell you, was a megachurch. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Thousands of people. I don't know how I feel about megachurches. Well, I guess you didn't like the early church, because they grew by the thousands. But watch this. The miracle was not in the fact that they were mega. That's not the miracle, because you're big. That's not the miracle. Come on. Growth and swelling look the same. Y'all make me work so hard. One is healthy. One is sick. The miracle is not in the fact that they were mega. The miracle was in the fact they were united. The devil ain't afraid of a big church. He's afraid of a united church. Let's read it. We read it earlier. It says, all the believers were what? United in heart and in mind. There was what? Unity. What else? And they felt that what they owned was not their own. That sounds like a manager mentality. It's like I own it, but I'm not the owner. I have it, but it don't have me. I possess it, but I'm not possessed by it. They realized it wasn't their own. So, they got unity. They got a manager mentality. So, what is the byproduct of this unity and this manager mentality? Here it is. It was unmanipulated, radical generosity. Hear me. The byproduct of a church that was united and knew they were the owners of nothing and the managers of everything was unmanipulated, radical generosity. Nobody was coercing these early believers to give. It just came out of their heart. None of the apostles were walking by their property going,

there's a nice property. Real nice. Wonder what the Lord could do in the church if you sold this thing. Nobody did that. It came from their heart. Something happened in the believer's heart that changed their relationship with what was in their hand. They wanted to give. The Bible says they would sell their houses, property, bring the proceeds, and lay it at the apostles' feet. Now, I don't want to over spiritualize the language, but I do want you to see what is happening. Once it left their hands and was laid at the apostles' feet, it had been entrusted to somebody else's stewardship. Whenever something is entrusted, trust. Becomes an issue Hear me there had to be integrity in the heart that released it and there had to be integrity in the place That received it Generosity required integrity on both sides of the gift. Are y'all hearing what I'm saying? There had to be integrity on both sides of the gift because the Bible says it was laid at the Apostles feet But then it was distributed to anybody who had need it landed at the Apostles feet But it didn't stop at their feet their feet were not the destination. It was the point of distribution This is what intrigues me. We don't know the names of all the people that sold houses and property and gave we don't know their names The Bible doesn't list all of them. I wish dr. Luke told us all the names matter of fact I'm gonna keep 100 if it's me and I sell my property and I get all of it to the church. So y'all looking at me so religious Y'all so fake. I'm just letting you know right now if I sell my property and I give it to the church You better put me in the Bible put me in the Bible Luke say my name Okay, but Luke doesn't mention everybody's name. He only mentions one dudes name Joseph a Levite from Cyprus and they called him Barnabas this do Barnabas. He owns a field He sells the field brings the money lays it at the Apostles feet. That's chapter 4 it closes boom chapter 5 and says but a Man named Ananias. Do you see what? Dr. Luke is doing? He's giving us a comparison Watch the comparison Barnabas sold property and Ananias and Sapphira sold property Barnabas brought money and Ananias and Sapphira brought money Barnabas laid it at the Apostles feet

Ananias and Sapphira laid it at the Apostles feet from the outside. These two things look almost exactly the same The only problem is only two of them Ended up falling over Dead y'all that is wild to me. I'm sorry This is the scariest verse of Scripture in the New Testament. It is scary to me Notice where it is is in the New Testament not the Old Testament. I could get it. This was in the Old Testament Oh this passage makes sense in the Old Testament in the OT. How many know God was a og. Yes He wanted to make it abundantly clear I am holy and you are not in the Old Testament mess around and find out play with God if you want to You better read the Old Testament Remember a dude named Uzzah when all of a sudden they were carrying the ark of the presence of God and they put it on a cart They didn't do it the way God told them to do it and the ark started to stumble this dude Uzzah reached out his hand boom dead on the spot body hit the floor Remember when they took over Jericho and God said don't keep anything in Jericho it belongs to me It's not yours. And this little dude that took it by himself Akin, he said I can hide it and what happened they stoned this dude to death And his whole family somebody read it That's it the Bible I get that in the Old Testament y'all we in the New Testament This is X Jesus has died. He's gotten up from the grave. We're in a new dispensation of grace. Why is this here? Ananias and Sapphira watch this drop dead not for not given a dime and the line about it They drop dead for giving but lying about what the amount was Huh? Becomes even more problematic when you understand that Ananias his name translates to mean Yahweh has been gracious It's a fire his name is connected to Sapphire Which is a stone that is precious and beautiful

So I'm trying to figure out how in the world could somebody who God has been gracious to and somebody whose name is associated with beauty end up being an example in the New Testament of deception and corruption Maybe it's a warning for us today That not everything that ends ugly started ugly Sometimes something can start beautifully and sincere and End up corrupted. If that corruption is what happens when something deteriorates from its original integrity or purpose and this is why money is So dangerous hear me because greed is one of the hardest sins to recognize in yourself It's easy to point out in everybody else it's hard to see it in you come on think about it, you know when you lied Come on, you know when you lie, you know when you stole Come on, you know, that's not your hammer. That's your neighbor's hammer That you still got go to Home Depot. This is prophetic Go to Home Depot and get your own hammer. You know when you stole. You know when you cheated. You know when you committed adultery. Nobody's ever gone, oh, my bad. I didn't know you weren't my spouse. Like the line is clear. You know that. But greed, greed is different. Where is the line for greed? What number makes you greedy? How much is enough?

How much is too much? Greed is scary because it has the ability to hide in plain sight. It'll disguise itself as wisdom. It'll disguise as security. It can disguise itself as success. It can even disguise itself as generosity. And that's what's so scary about Ananias and Sapphira is what they did looks so generous on the surface, but underneath, it was deception. It was deception. Barnabas was just grateful. Nobody made him do it. He brought an offering. Ananias and Sapphira brought an image. They chose image over integrity. And shout out for Peter, loud mouth Peter, for calling it out. Think of where he calls it out. Chapter five, verse four. Peter says, didn't it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold? Wasn't the money at your disposal? In other words, he's like, did nobody make you do this? You chose to do this. Nobody forced you to give. The problem was not that they kept part of the money. The problem was that they wanted people to believe they had given something that they had not.

They wanted the appearance of a sacrifice instead of actually making one. So God wasn't judging the size of the gift. He was judging the heart behind the gift. This is what God is after. He is after the heart behind generosity. Hear me, social fam. God has never been interested in manipulated generosity. He wants willingness. He wants sincerity. He wants integrity. Where all the ladies at? Make some noise. All the fellas. We're not in a relationship series. But you know how it is when your, if your wife or your girlfriend says, I want you to just give me flowers in the car when it's not a special day and just, I just want you to do it. Don't go out and get the flowers in the car after she just said that. Wait some time after. Because what does she want? She don't want the flowers in the car. She wants you to want to do it. Ladies, I can't get an amen on that right there. She wants you to want to do it. That's what God wants. God says, I want you to want to give

because you know how good I have been to you that you wouldn't have anything if it wasn't for me. God doesn't want, here it is. Here's my sermon in a sentence. God doesn't want manipulated generosity from the giver, nor does he want careless stewardship from the receiver. Ooh, one more time for the people in the back. God doesn't want manipulated generosity from the giver, nor does he want careless stewardship from the receiver. And you see it in the life of the apostles. What came to their feet was trusted to be distributed to those in need. If I had time, and I don't, I'd take you to 2 Corinthians chapter eight where Paul shows this same principle because he calls out the church of Corinth and he says, hey, y'all have excelled in everything, but you're giving. Then he goes on to say, I'm not commanding you to give, but I want a willingness to be in your heart. And then in verse 20 and 21, he goes down and he shows a system of accountability. He says, hey, I'm sending Titus and another trustworthy brother to come collect the offering. So there was integrity on both sides. It was integrity on the side of the giver and integrity on the side of the person that was receiving the gift. Because hear me, accountability doesn't compete with trust.

Accountability protects trust. So if I'm gonna stand here and talk about integrity on the part of the giver, I feel like I have to talk about integrity on the person or the house that receives it. So we're gonna do something that's gonna be fun. You picked a good day to come to church. I wanna show you, I told you last week, if you've ever asked the question, when I give or when I sow the social, where does it go? Ooh, you about to know. You about to know where it goes. In fact, just say, where does it go? Where does it go? Are you about to find out? Everybody get out your phone. Get out your phone real quick. Get out your phone and then exit out of Instagram. We got three to five years in the house. And we got Ananias and Sapphira in the house, and I hope you ain't about to drop dead. How you been here 10 to 11 years when Social five years old? Somebody in data team, find out who that is. Okay. Less than a year, this is unbelievable. Less than a year, wonderful, okay. All right, y'all hurry up. All right, question number two, question number two. Here's what I wanna know. Which category do you think makes up the largest percentage of Social Dallas's expenses? About 20,000, about 40,000, about 70,000 for one Sunday. What do you think? Looks like 40,000 is winning. Yeah, beautiful. Give yourself a hand. Y'all, this is our first time doing this survey. I wanna start with operations, operations. 2% of what you give goes to our operating expenses. 2%, that is serve teams, transportation. We have two big old trucks that say God loves Dallas and our church equipment and all of that lives in those trucks. We're a mobile church, hospitality, supplies, 2% of what you give goes to our operations. These are just some of the practical things it takes to keep this house functioning and moving week after week. All right, next category. 2% of what you give goes towards ministry programming. Ministry programming. Now, I gotta explain this one, because I know y'all, somebody gonna clip this and say, ooh, I went to Social Dials today,

and can you believe only 2% of what I give? Goes to ministry. That's all they spend on ministry. Calm down and let me bring some clarity to that. That is not what that means Ministry is happening and literally every category that you're gonna see on this pie chart ministry happens that 2% Represents the direct programming budgets given to specific ministry departments That is our social kids shout out to our social kids that are gathering right now That's social youth where y'all at To net groups social DNA next steps stag where my dogs at Social girls all the ladies in the place Yeah, so this is the money that those individual ministries have specifically allocated to execute their programming next category administration 11% of what you give goes towards administration. Where does it go? Facilities software and equipment. We have a headquarters in Dallas insurance legal fees Giving fees. Can I just pause on? Giving fees for a moment social fam in 2025 alone social Dallas paid 236 thousand four hundred and sixty one dollars in online Processing giving fees that's almost a quarter of a million dollars just to process the generosity That comes in online this year. generosity 10% of everything that comes into social Dallas goes towards missions benevolence and outreach From the beginning of Social Dallas, we made a decision. How in the world can we ask you to be faithful in the tithe and tithe personally if we as a church do not tithe? 10% goes out, and I am so convinced that the blessing and the favor of God that is on this house is because we trust him to operate on the 90 and we sow the 10. Are y'all ready for this? I got receipts. So far in 2026 through August 29th, this church, are you ready, has given away $672,521.27 to missionaries, to other ministries, to disaster relief, to 821 and other organizations that are rescuing people from human trafficking, for Pando app, to be in prisons for forgiven felons. I can go on and on. That's just this year alone. Some of y'all still ain't shouting, okay, if this don't get you, I don't know what else will. Since Social Dallas started, since the inception of this church, hear me, we have given away $4,121,836.17. A church that is five years old has already given away $4.1 million because we understand that it came into this house, but it didn't stop at this house. It landed here, but it kept on moving. Okay. I think if we go back to my pot chart, I still got a big old, big old gap right here, right here. What in the world is taking up this much of the donut, this much of the pot? 41% Sunday services. 41% of what you give goes to venues, production. The fact that I had a screen to point to, somebody setting that up, the lights, worship and creative guest experience, 41% of our operating expenses is connected to what it currently takes for us to gather as a church every single Sunday. That's where it goes. That's the full chart. I know some of y'all have been waiting. Remember the last question I asked you? I thought I saw 40 as the highest. Yeah. Social youth is being honest over here. I think 40. What was the highest? Here it is. Here's what it costs us every... Hold on. Per Sunday. Not monthly. Not weekly. Per Sunday. $69,692.88 to rent this space for security, for production, so you can be safe. Officer station everywhere. Per Sunday. I'm going to purr like a cat. Per Sunday, $69,692.88. here. Guess where we'll be? Toyota Music Factory. What does it cost per Sunday for Texas Toyota Music Factory? $80,239.31. Is your pacemaker okay? Okay. I just want to make sure. That's for the venue rental. That's for parking, which is a huge part of that. I wish y'all would complain about having to walk. We have to walk so far. Y'all want us to charge for parking on Sunday? That's per Sunday. I'm having too much fun. This is therapy for me. Anybody ever gather at the Windsor Opera House? Isn't it beautiful? Oh, my goodness. It's magical. It better be, because every time we gather at Windsor Opera House, purr. I got receipts. Purr. Purr Sunday. That is the infrastructure required just to create space for ministry to happen. Where does it go? Hear my heart. I wanna be clear. I am so grateful for every venue God has given us. I'm so grateful we've been able to do that and we've been doing this for five years. I'm so grateful that we did not wait till we owned a building to become a church. How many of you can testify you've been changed in one of those venues? You've encountered Jesus in one of those venues? Somebody you prayed for walked down an aisle and surrendered their life to him in one of those venues. I'm thankful that every single space as we've gathered and given God the glory, he has shown up. Hear my heart. I'm grateful. All that God has done, it's been amazing. But hear me, gratitude for what God has allowed us to gather in does not mean this is the wisest, long-term stewardship model.

And perhaps now you understand why we talk about needing a permanent home. It's never been about just needing a building. There is a stewardship reality underneath it. Why would we keep throwing that amount of resources into places that can say, oh, by the way, you can't gather this week. We could actually pour that resources to our own home that will release more space for us to reach people. So rather than just tell you what God is building at 10110 Technology Boulevard and why it matters, I want to show you what's happening. Watch this. What's up, SD? Welcome to our home. Come on in. Here we are in the lobby, the front door of Social Dallas. That's right. We have been in 14 different venues since our church launch and we've never had enough space for people to connect. But now we do. This will be a space where everyone can connect, filled with natural light, plants, and a calm atmosphere. Because we're a house of presence, our prayer is that the moment you walk in, you'll feel the presence of God right here in the lobby. And right off the lobby will be our cafe, a place that's alive throughout the week with coffee, conversations, and true connection,

a place to be together beyond Sundays. Once upon a time, this property was the largest movie theater in the United States. So maybe you're wondering, are y'all keeping any of the movie theaters? Well, we are. Let's take a look. Welcome to the watch party room. This will be a beautiful overflow space on Sundays, and it will also be a space for people to connect with their family and friends. And it will also be a space that serves people all week long. It will host our social youth services, group classes and gatherings for our church and our city. We can't wait to see all that God does here. Welcome to Social Kids. We have an entire wing dedicated for the next generation. That's right. You know, we have had Sundays where we've had to turn kids away because there was not enough space. Social fam, those days are long gone. We have space for your whole family. We believe God is in every detail. Every space is intentional from nursery and kids classrooms to sensory rooms for children who may need a little extra attention. We also have vision for this space to become a daycare. We know that this building will be a gift to our community throughout the week. And social youth, we see you too.

Your very own basketball court, arcade area, and so much more for the youth, for the city. And directly right here behind us is going to be a glass wall. And inside of that wall is a huge, massive, beautiful playground for our social kids. Can you imagine how incredible it's going to be? We're standing here in the heart of the building, our sanctuary. We don't see just any room. We see people worshiping here. We see families restored here, addiction stopping here. This is the place for miracles, signs, and wonders. This is the place where the gospel will be proclaimed, where sons and daughters will come back home, where people will encounter the presence of Jesus. And babe, standing here, I can't help but think of where it all started. 14 venues across the city, countless setups, early mornings, late nights, and so many people who prayed, gave, served, and believed. What I love about our church is that we're not waiting until the doors open to serve our city. We're starting right now. That's right, because this building is just a tool for the mission. And we believe that God loves Dallas. Can we give God some praise for what we're gonna step into? Come on.

I'm so grateful that if anybody knows it's more than a building, it's us. We've been doing it without one. But stewardship requires we step into what's ahead of us. I'm glad we're not waiting until we get there to make impact. We've been handing out groceries once a month right there, letting people know that we're feeding you before we ever feed your soul. I think this is critical. I can hear some people saying, well, man, that's a lot. Shouldn't we find another venue where it doesn't cost that? If you find a location in Dallas that houses this many people,

please just send it to me. Well, can we get a smaller venue? You know how many services we would have to do? I mean, I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm not gonna lie to you. That this is bigger than the building, but the building is just a tool that God is gonna use for the mission. And there is an urgency. There is an urgency. So first of all, I wanna give you an update. Again, if you're visiting with us, welcome. Especially those of you who call social home. I wanna give you an update. Last Vision Sunday, last November, we cast the vision. We said, hey, this is a massive project. And the first milestone is $6 million to break ground and start construction. That was the goal, representing six letters, spelling social. Here's where we are as of today. $4,402,851. We got the S, the O, the C, the I, almost half of the A, and the L.

And I wanna thank all of you who have been faithful and going above the times and doing that, which by the way, because you gave, that's what started this process. Y'all, demolition is almost done. Plans have gone into the city. How many know some churches have a building campaign and ain't nothing getting built? How many thankful for this house where something is actually happening? We're closer than ever. So here's what is remaining for us to start and break ground. That is what's remaining. This is an easy thing. That's what's remaining. And let me tell you where my faith position is. Here's my faith position, is that by November 8th, November 8th, we would have hit our goal of $6 million to begin the construction process. And then I want November 8th. Here's why I want November 8th, is because on November 15th is Vision Sunday. And here's what I want to happen on Vision Sunday. When we hit that goal, we're gonna have service right here at Texas Trust Theater. Then all of us are gonna pull up at 10110 Technology Boulevard, and we're gonna have a groundbreaking ceremony.

We're gonna let you write on the concrete scriptures. who you believe in God for to step in that place and encounter his presence. That's where my faith position is. It's only gonna happen when somebody says, I believe in the vision and I'm not just gonna be somebody that receives. I'm gonna trust God and so I'm gonna trust him and so. Can I give you some more numbers? Are you tired of numbers today? I know you feel like you came to a board meeting, but these are my favorite numbers. These are my favorite numbers for the day. Just this year alone, in 2026, 326 people have been baptized right here at Social Valley. 326 people have made a public profession of their faith. Are y'all ready? Just this year, 3,148 people have surrendered their lives to Jesus, have crossed over, their eternities have changed. How do you put a price on this? Come on, somebody. This has always been bigger than a building. It's always been bigger than millions. It's about people. That's what we're about. And I hope today even arms you with some information for ignorant, crazy people who have no clue of the prayers, the sacrifice, and what it takes for us to set the table

for people to encounter Jesus. Where does it go? I hope today, with transparency, I answered that question. Where does it go? But I got one more thing, because I do want to know something. I got one more question. Somebody say, where does it go? Come on, say, where does it go? I woke up with this picture in my mind, because I know you thought, where does it go, just relates to when you give to social, but I also think that God is asking, where does it go? I think God is asking, when I bless you, when I give you a gift or pour something in your life, God wants to know, where does it go? I am convinced that God has blessing, by the way, non-alcoholic blessing for y'all spiritual people. Watch this, that he wants to pour out in your life, but he wants to know, where does it go after I pour it out in your life? That's why I said it last week. He said, see, test me first with the time. See, will I not open up the window of heaven and pour out a blessing? You won't have room enough to receive, not sprinkle out a blessing, not drip out a blessing. Drip means my resources are limited. God says, no, I wanna pour out a blessing,

and how many are thankful? The blessing ain't always money. Sometimes the blessing is favor. Sometimes the blessing is your name being whispered in a room that you're not in. Sometimes the blessing is somebody you've been praying for, and God speaks to their heart. You don't have a clue what the blessing is, that God wants to pour out, but after he pours, he wants to know, where does it go? If he wants to pour out a blessing that you don't have room enough to receive, so many people, this is where it stops in their life, because all you think about is my life, my blessing. How does it affect me? And my question for you is why would God keep pouring out blessing if what he poured out is gonna stop with you? Why would he keep pouring out? The only reason he wants to pour out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive because God wants to know, if I pour it out, can I trust you enough to make sure it's gonna go to somebody else? Come on, somebody, this ain't for you to flex and say you got so much. This is for your life to be a conduit. God is just looking for a person. He's just looking for a church that he says, if I pour out my blessing,

I wanna know, can that blessing overflow and affect somebody else? Can that blessing overflow and affect generations that haven't even heard about me yet? Can that blessing overflow and affect other nations? I don't know about you, but I want God to trust me. I want God to say, I can keep on pouring because I know the blessing is not gonna stop with you. It's gonna keep going and keep going and keep going. You don't have a clue what God would do in you and through you if he can just trust that the blessing will keep going. I want my life. to be a life that when God pours out the blessing I can look and see how many people were affected because it didn't stop with me when God said where does it go if it can come to me it can come through me come on somebody that says that's what I want would you give God the best praise that you got where does it go for all that God has done in your life is it gonna stop with you he's never ran out of blessing the question is where is it gonna go God doesn't run out I even told him give me some extra just in case not every cup gets filled I like that because you don't know that was back there and I want to say over somebody's life you don't have a clue what God has in store for you how many know he has so much more in store that you can't even see eyes have not seen ears have not heard you didn't know that was back there I did and God knows what he has in store for you but he wants to know where does it go would you bow your head and close your eyes father thank you that we are the managers are not the owners God I pray today that unmanipulated radical generosity would break out of this house because you've been so good to us God you have taken us from a few hundred people to thousands God the miracle is

not in the size the miracle is that we would be united in heart and in mind and ultimately our lives would just be an open channel for whatever you want to flow through us and God don't let it stop with money whatever you have entrusted to us let there be integrity in the hands of the giver and let there be integrity in this house as we steward what you've given us heads about eyes are closed I wonder today if you've been asking God why aren't you pouring out more in my life and he's asking you but where does it go where does it go why would I bless you with the house with more square footage if you're not gonna invite anybody over and show kindness and hospitality to them why would I keep pouring resource in your life if it's gonna stop with you here's my prayer that all that I am would be his and he knows if I poured in his life if I poured in social Dallas it's not gonna stop there it's gonna go to places we don't even realize it can reach so it has bound on us close today if you'd be so honest to say you know what what God has poured in my life has stopped with me and today there's an area in my life I need to trust him more so that what he's poured didn't stop with me but goes to somebody else that's you just as a sign that you hear God speaking he would you lift up your hand today to say Lord I hear you and today I'm I'm making a promise in your presence today it's not gonna stop with me whatever you've placed in my hands whatever you placed in my life there's some of you maybe you're waiting for a certain number to hit your bank account to start trusting God you never will you have to start where you are you're waiting till you have a free busy schedule to start serving you have to start now the harvest is plentiful the laborers are few hear me social this is the preview this isn't a movie there are so many people in this city who need him and we've got to have more hands will say wherever you need me here I am God where does it go anybody else just as a sign to say Lord I'm available that's what he wants it's not your ability it is your availability where does it go thank you God head still bowed I'll still close me
