Unraveling Unbelief: How Faith Overcomes Obstacles to God's Power | Jeff Leake

All right, so we're going to get into a series today called House of Healing, and this entire month is going to be devoted to this particular topic. And this series was birthed out of a moment that we had together as a church in September. So we have an annual revival week, and I spoke on that Wednesday night, and I talked about an observation I had made in scripture about how there are these two locations where Jesus did ministry. Nazareth, which is the town he grew up in, and Capernaum, which is the contrasting town on the Sea of Galilee. And here's the difference. Nazareth was unable to see any miracles. Even though Jesus grew up there, and they knew him so well, there was evidently an atmospherical problem in the community where they didn't understand who Jesus was, which resulted in a lack of faith in that community, so they didn't see. You should have been the place they saw the most, because they knew him the best, right? Capernaum is the place that we have the most recorded miracles. So somehow there's a difference between Nazareth and Capernaum, and here was my comment. I want Allison Park Church to be a Capernaum church, right? A place where there's an atmosphere of faith, where we see the power of God in operation. And so at the end of that message, we had some worship and prayer time, and as the service was wrapping up, the Holy Spirit gave me a prophetic word about that particular moment. And let me read what I said at that moment. Here's the word the Holy Spirit gave me. I saw a picture of water flowing, and there was a dam holding back the flood. The pressure kept increasing, and the dam was shaking, and the pressure was increasing, and the dam was shaking, and the word to me was this. God's getting ready to break loose, but there is a need for us to push through in faith in order to see the barrier break. When it breaks, all of a sudden, bam, bam, bam, there's gonna be a story after story after story of healings and miracles. Right now, we're positioned. You can feel it's building. It's building, and it's building right now. Okay, at the end of that little word I gave, I then said this. I said, there's a lot going on at Allison Park Church, and I'm leading a lot of initiatives, and I don't feel like I can lead this initiative alone. If we're gonna see the wall break, then we need to push against that wall.

And so I just challenged the people that were in the room. I said, if you feel called to own that, right, I said, come forward, and so about 100 people came forward, and we nicknamed them the wall pushers. Now, that wasn't a very good name. Melody changed it to wall breakers. That probably rings a little bit better, and she has been working with them, and they've been praying every day that God would do supernatural things here at Allison Park Church. Thus, we're talking about being a house of healing. We're like a Capernaum church. All right, so since that time, we have 14 documented stories of miraculous answers to prayer, okay? And throughout, I believe there are more coming, and I'm gonna share with you one of those right now, okay? So this is from Nancy Valco. Nancy is a longtime member. She's been at Allison Park Church longer than I have, so that's a long time. And a couple of years ago, she encountered a problem, and I'm gonna read from a series of emails that will tell you the story. She said this, basically, I have a congenital defect called a tethered cord, and I also have a spinal cord that splits in two parts, so you know right there that's pain, and that's a problem. She said, in the spring of 2024, we noticed a change in my gait, meaning she was walking differently, and it got progressively worse, so I had a multitude of tests, MRIs, blood tests, EMG. They basically said that the nerves were not able to send the correct signals to the muscles, so I had about eight months of neurophysical therapy with pretty much no progress, except for learning how to walk with the forearm crutches, so she was limited and only able to walk on those crutches. She says walking was exhausting and difficult. In March of 2025, the doctor said that I needed an electric wheelchair in order to get around anymore, so she said, eventually, I received a letter of referral to the Cleveland Clinic, and I had a really bad day, and I was crying and grieving the loss of mobility and the issues that I was experiencing, and she said, at that time, I went into my room, and the song with the phrase, we actually sang this earlier, I am blessed, I am healed, you know that song we just sang, God is so good, and she said, as I heard that in my spirit, I began to sing it to God, and I noticed that my left leg started to move, and I could move it much better before, better than before. I stood up, and I was walking normal with no crutches, and I walked into the living room, and my husband, Joe, said, I think God healed you. Then she wrote a letter a couple of weeks later. The email said, hi, Pastor Jeff, I saw my doctor today for the first time since I've been able to walk again, and she said, doctors don't like to say this, but Nancy, this is a miracle.

Yeah, isn't that awesome? And then she writes, all the honor and glory and praise to God. What a loving good Father. I did nothing, and He miraculously and graciously healed me. All right. So that's one of the 14 stories that we've heard already. And we are believing for a lot more. Why? Because when God moves in this way, somebody's need is met. Like somebody in a desperate situation receives an answer that changes their life. Nancy can walk. I mean, come on, somebody, that's a good day right there, right? So second thing is when we pray in the name of Jesus and healing comes, the Bible calls this a sign. It's proof of the fact that Jesus is alive and that he is able to do supernatural things. And a lot of our broken world needs to know who Jesus is. And so when we see signs happen, it makes people aware that the gospel is true. And as we then see this happen, we are able to give praise and glory to God, which is always a good thing. So this is what we're longing for. And in the month of January now, we are going to be believing God to move. So every weekend, we're gonna teach on this. Every weekend at the end of the service, we're gonna pray for people in need so you can bring people with you

to church that need a touch from God. And then the grand finale in January, the final weekend of the month, we're gonna have Johannes Amritzer with us, which I couldn't pick a better guest for this particular theme. Remember, Johannes is our friend. He's an international evangelist and he moves in the gift of healing more than anybody I've ever seen. Okay, so we're gonna be aiming and praying and fasting. We're gonna seek the Lord together. We're gonna be together on worship nights and we're saying, come on, let's push that wall down, right? So that the power of the Holy Spirit can move and we can see supernatural things happen in Jesus' name. Amen, come on, this is gonna be a good month, guys. We're looking forward to what's gonna happen. Yeah, all right. Now, when we get to this particular topic, there's a whole bunch of questions that immediately pop into your mind, right? Here's the questions that we have. We have questions like this. Well, how come it doesn't happen for everybody? I'm glad for Nancy, but I've prayed before and I didn't receive healing. I have a friend who prayed and they didn't receive healing. Or I've had some real disappointment in this area. And anytime this topic comes up,

it's kind of confusing to me. Pastor Jeff, are you promising in this series to resolve all these issues for me? No, I'm not. In fact, let me just set your expectations. I will not be explaining to you the mysteries of the universe or how all of these things fit together because I have never heard anybody explain that very well because some things are just hard to understand. Here's what I've become comfortable with. There is a God, I'm not him. Yeah, and I don't know everything he knows. I don't understand everything he understands. And so, no, I can't explain to you everything in this particular series. So you say, well, what's this gonna be about? All right, I think sometimes we can all agree that there are obstacles that are in our way that are stopping what God wants to do. And so the aim of this series is to look at the obstacles and put a name on them and say, this is probably a problem here. Let's address that, go after it, and then let's see what happens, right? We may still have questions when we get to the end of the series, but here's what I believe we're gonna see. Push those obstacles out of the way, see the flow of the Holy Spirit,

and we're gonna see God move in significant ways during this month, okay? So just wanna set your expectations on what we're gonna do. And the very first obstacle we wanna talk about today is the obstacle of unbelief. One of the reasons why Nazareth didn't see supernatural things was unbelief. It actually says that. And we would assume one of the reasons why Capernaum did is because there was an atmosphere of faith. Now, here's what's dangerous about that. If somebody comes to you and says, the reason why you're not healed is because you have no faith, that's like adding insult to the suffering they're already in. Like, okay, you're sick, and now you're also deficient. Isn't that great to hear, right? Like, you got something wrong with your faith, and if you had more faith, if you wished for it, you wanted it more, it would happen. Okay, I am in no way doing that to you right now, right? I have not come to deliver this stab in the back in the midst of your suffering that you just need more faith. Okay, that's not what we're saying here. I actually think sometimes we should relabel the problem. Now, the sermon is called Unraveling Unbelief, but we're gonna label or reframe the problem like this.

I actually think a lot of times this issue is not about not wanting it bad enough or not having enough kind of willful conviction toward it. It actually has to do with a lack of understanding of something. Sometimes, we'll say it like this. Sometimes, we just don't understand who Jesus is, what he has done for us, and what we have in Christ. And if we understood who he was and what he's done for us and how we can operate with him, our faith would instantly grow simply because we now understand something we didn't know before. Faith is actually spiritual eyesight to see truths that we can't necessarily naturally see. So what we're gonna do in this particular message is we're gonna theologically walk through some truths that we need to see clearly. And I think as we do, our faith will naturally begin to ignite, okay? So let's start with prayer. Just put your hand on your chest for a moment. Let's pray. God, we ask that you'd open the eyes of our heart. This is actually a prayer that Paul prayed that we might know the rich. of our inheritance in Christ, that we might know the surpassing great power for those who believe. Expand our understanding,

enlighten our minds and our hearts so that we can know the truth and begin then to operate in a new way. Help us to do that, we pray in Jesus' name and everybody said amen together. All right, we're gonna do some theological work today. Okay, are you ready? This is a message now that won't be light. We're gonna actually dig a little bit in now. And if you are, you're praying for healing in your life or you have someone you're praying for, I would encourage you take this seriously. You might wanna use the app either right now or later. You'll find all the notes are on there and you can refer to them because this might be something you might wanna review a bit. I'll try to make it as engaging as possible, but it's a little thicker than normal, okay? And so let's start with Matthew chapter eight. Okay, Matthew chapter eight, here's the context. Jesus shows up in Capernaum, that's our town, and he encounters, first of all, a centurion, meaning he's a soldier in Rome, oversees a hundred other soldiers. He's not a Jewish person. We don't even think he's a person of faith, but he has a servant who's sick and he's heard about Jesus and he gets a revelation about who Jesus is.

And so somebody says, hey, you should talk to this centurion. He has this need. And Jesus said, what do you need me to do? He says, my servant's sick. Jesus said, I'll come and pray for him. And then Jesus' response was, no, excuse me, the centurion's response was, you don't have to come to my house because I know who you are. And you have authority. And I'm a man of authority and I tell my servants to come and they come and I tell them to go when they go. And so all you have to do is give the word because you have authority over the elements of nature. You speak the word and my servant will be healed. Jesus said, I haven't met anybody in all Israel has faith like you. And so he gives the word and the man goes home and his servant is healed. Okay, that's Capernaum. Now let's read on, Matthew chapter eight, same spot, same time. When Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her and she got up and began to wait on him. Okay, word begins to spread now. Two miracles have happened.

Wow, so people go out and they find their friends who have problems and they bring them to Capernaum. And here's what it says in verse 16. When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him and he drove out the spirits with the word and healed all the sick. So we have a healing explosion in the town of Capernaum there on the Sea of Galilee. And then Matthew interprets it for us. Okay, this is really important. When the Bible says this happened, and here's what it means, we should underline and circle that. Like Matthew said, and this happened, and here's what it means, verse 17. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah. He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases. Okay, Matthew now is quoting from an ancient prophecy, Isaiah, he prophesied 700 years before Christ, and he gives us in Isaiah 53, one of the most perfect descriptions of the crucifixion. Okay, so he's saying the Messiah is gonna suffer. And then if you read all 12 verses of the chapter, it's like this explicit detail of what Jesus would eventually go through that Isaiah is seeing in the spirit in advance. And he says this in Isaiah 53, verse four, surely he took up our pain. Now he's talking about what would happen in Christ.

And he bore our suffering, yet we consider him punished by God, stricken by him and afflicted, verse five. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was on him. And say the last phrase with me, and by his wounds we are healed. Now Matthew basically says, there is a word that came about what Jesus is gonna do, and when he dies on the cross and rises from the grave, he will have fulfilled this word, and he will have brought healing to us, because, big word now theologically, of something called the atonement. The death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection provided atonement. Now what do we think, atoning for what? Atoning for our sin, he was punished for our iniquities and our transgressions, he paid the price for that so that we could be forgiven of our sin. But the atonement, this is more than just forgiveness, it actually describes this idea. So I have this AI generated picture behind me, and I've split the word into three sections, at, one, meant. Meaning, God took what was separated or broken, and he made it one again. He brought it back together.

And he made us one, so atone. He atoned for our sin, and I was separated from God, but he brought me back together with the Father. Come on now, right? The world is broken. There's a curse that hangs on the world. Jesus brought the world back together spiritually because he conquered death and he conquered the darkness and he brings restoration to the world around us. Atonement, here's what it says. Jesus destroyed the curse and brought the whole world back into wholeness. This is what the atonement does. All right, let's make it more specific. Isaiah talks about three aspects of the curse on the world. Sin, right, which we all need a cure for, to be right with God, that's what the cross does. Number two, sorrow, which is part of the curse. We carry the heaviness of the oppression on this world. And then number three, sickness, right? By his wounds, you are healed. So the curse was destroyed in the cross. Like he dealt a death blow to the curse and his resurrection brings it back together again. This is a spiritual reality that most people in the world haven't yet applied to their life. Like it's done, it's been done. It's not personal, it's been done already. It's just a fact.

Jesus, atone for your sin and you can be brought back together with the Father but you don't experience the reality of that unless you come into agreement with it and you say, Jesus, do that for me and that brings you back. So look, there's this reality that's out there that hasn't been applied in our life and so it's just hanging out there to be accessed. The atonement of Jesus Christ and a lot of people haven't because they haven't heard about it or they haven't believed it and so therefore they haven't experienced what Jesus has provided in the atonement. Let me clarify a little more. Okay, summary statements here now. When Jesus entered the world, he didn't just forgive sin, he rewrote the rules of how a broken world works. So he flipped the script, he took the default which was dysfunction and he superimposed a new system on it of his victory on the cross. Once, what was once operating under the curse now can be overridden through Christ, okay? So unbelief, it makes sense under the curse because what else do we have than brokenness? But faith makes sense under Christ because he has brought to us a new reality. Now none of this is realized until we believe it,

understand it, believe it and access it. So we come in faith for prayer and we say, Jesus, because of what you did on the cross and your resurrection, I now declare your atonement is real so make it real for me in my body, in my family, right? I say in Jesus' name, bring this reality into my life. Matthew said, all these people that got healed is a fulfillment of what Jesus was prophesied to do that he would atone for us. Okay, let me just check, are you still with me? We're in this theological thing so the very first reason is atonement, number one. Let me give you a second theological concept and the reason why we're taking our time with this is if you don't understand who Jesus is and what he did for you, you can't really have faith. All you have is wishing, I wish he would do this, I hope he would do it. When you understand it, then you're stepping into the framework of it and say, yes, what you've already provided on the cross, do that in my life. Okay, here's the second big word and that's the word covenant, covenant. So this is the agreement that we have with God that is unbreakable. A covenant is different from a contract because it's unbreakable. Now the first covenant was God with Israel and God fulfilled his part of the bargain

and Israel never fulfilled theirs so the covenant was broken. But Jesus, he came now and gave us a better covenant, a new covenant. He took on flesh, he's one of us and as our covenant champion, he fulfills the man part, the human part of the covenant and God fulfills his part and so we enter into this unbreakable agreement because we come in under our champion Jesus to engage. Okay, we're gonna take a little Bible journey now. Let's focus, here's what Jesus said when he gave communion. He said, this cup is the new covenant, right? You've now entered into a new covenant with God through me in my blood which is poured out for you. Hebrews chapter nine, listen to what it says here. For this reason, Christ is the mediator, what's that word? A go-between, a connector of a new covenant of those who are called that they might receive the promised internal, say the last word, what? Inheritance. Okay, inheritance is something you get not because you earned it but because you're related to somebody else, right? It's conferred upon you. We have an inheritance because of the mediator of the new covenant for us. Romans chapter eight says this. For this reason, Christ, oh, excuse me, the spirit himself testifies with our spirit

that we are God's children. Children, now this is great news here. Remember that when you give your life to Christ, you not only get your sins forgiven, you get adopted into the family. You're a son or daughter of God Almighty. You belong to him, but it gets even better if we're children, then we're also heirs. Heirs of what? Heirs of everything Jesus possesses because we are co-heirs with Christ. Which means everything that belongs to heaven belongs to Jesus. And everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to you and me. So if you went home this week and you opened your mailbox and you got a letter from the legal team of Jeff Bezos, and you opened it up and it said, we have good news for you. Jeff saw you and he's decided to put you in his will as one of his descendants. How many of you know that's gonna be a good day right there, right? Or how about Elon Musk? I think Elon is what, a trillionaire now, is the first trillionaire ever, and he's got a bunch of kids, and he looks at you and he's like, you know what, I want you as one of my, I'm gonna adopt you.

You say, well, I'm too old for that. No, I don't care. I'm gonna put you in, now you are heirs to a trillionaire, come on. Let me just say, you're co-heirs with Christ? Jesus, who has conquered everything, God who owns it all, has made you an heir? You know, I don't think Christians understand who they are. I think we live way below the level of what we have in Christ just simply because we don't understand who we are and what we have. Like, we don't live like co-heirs with Christ. We live like something else. Like, we, oh, I know, God, I shouldn't even ask you for this. Like, we don't come boldly because we don't understand what it is to pray in Jesus' name as a co-heir with Christ. And let me give you another example now. Acts chapter three, Simon, Peter, and John are going to pray in the middle of the afternoon. They're going to the temple. They pass by a guy who can't walk. He's been crippled for a long time. He's begging to be able to survive. And as they're walking by, here's what it says. The crippled man looked up at Simon, Peter, and Simon, Peter knows he's asking for money. And Peter says, I have no silver or gold,

but what I do have I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk. And he took him by the hand, and the man stood up and he began to walk. And so we see this miracle that happens. It's the first miracle that happens after Jesus' resurrection and ascension that's mentioned for us. Now, notice what Peter says here. He doesn't say, I don't have silver or gold, but what God has I give you. That would be accurate, but that's not what he says. He says, I have no silver and gold, but what Jesus has I give you. He says, I don't have silver and gold, but what I have. What? What do you have, Peter? Well, I have an inheritance in Christ. Everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to me. And I'm his representative on earth. And so he's given it to me in his authority, in his name. I'm going to give it to you now because I want you to have what God wants in your life. So Peter, he has this understanding of what he has in Christ, and he operates out of the awareness of his inheritance. So we have, listen, we have the atonement which has made a way for us, the covenant which has given us

a legal right to an inheritance. And if we operate in those two things, that's a rule changer right there. Why are we praying? We're praying, God, because of what you've given me in Christ I now claim what is my inheritance in Jesus' name. Okay, let me give you another story. If you were here at Wonder during Christmas, you heard Pastor Sean tell the story about a little girl named Sophia who was on crutches and God healed her. I'm gonna give you some of the rest of the story here about Sophia. She's, I think, seven, eight years old. And let me read the report from her mom. Sophia fell a few times in the fall and had injured both knees. We obtained an MRI which confirmed a tibial growth plate injury on the right knee and similar symptoms on the left knee. She had been on two crutches since early November and actually told me that her legs felt like stone. Hearing that terrified me because we had already been doing physical therapy for weeks and it just didn't seem like she was getting better. So I submitted a request for her to be prayer for the one. You know, at Alice Park and every service almost, we have one person that we all pray for. So Sophia was prayer for the one. After her prayer in that moment,

nothing immediately happened at church. But on the way home, Sophia began to speak to her crutches, telling them she didn't need them. And she asked us if she could try walking without her crutches and we said yes. As soon as she got out of the car, she began walking by faith without her crutches. And I asked her how she became so confident in the car that she would walk again. And she stated, God told me, get up and walk. Yeah. So, they captured the moment on iPhone, you wanna see that? Let's look at Sophia. Come on back. Okay, come on back. Wow. You know, we're praying for this, but I'm still sometimes amazed. I'm like, can you believe that happened? Wow. So, what are we doing in the month of January? We're saying, God, give us more moments like that, right? Help us to be aligned with you and aware of what you're trying to accomplish in the world. Okay, the third word now. So, atonement, right? Jesus has broken the curse for us. Covenant, he's given us legal access to be heirs of everything he possesses. Okay, here's the third, and that's the word agreement.

And this means, I actually have to, by faith, say amen to what he's trying to do, right? So, Jesus has ratified the promises of God, now I have to say amen. Okay, this is why we pray, because all the things I said are true. You're an heir of the kingdom, right? You have access to everything Jesus has provided. He has provided this through the atonement. He's broken the curse on the world. He wants to make you whole again. All of this is true, but it's often not realized because we don't pray. Look, sometimes God just sovereignly does stuff, right? Sometimes we say, I don't know why, who prayed? I have no idea, God just broke through. It's his right to sovereignly do things. But most often, when we see miraculous things happen, it's because we agree with him in prayer, and we say, Lord, now my covenant rights, my inheritance, the promise you've made, I now say, may it be in my life, in my family. Let me give you a Bible for this now. Final verses. 2 Corinthians chapter one, verse 19. It says this, for the son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, was not yes and no. So when you show up and you ask God for something, Jesus is not like, eh, I don't know. What kind of mood am I in today, right?

He's not a maybe Jesus, isn't that something? Not like my Italian grandma used to say, amens, amens. Like sort of, yeah, half and half, right? No, no, but in him, it has always been what? You said that like you weren't sure if you were, like you're not sure if you even agree with that verse. Like, let me just say, well, what is the word again? Yes, it's the word yes, right? So if you come to ask Jesus, and it's something that's been promised to you in your inheritance, the answer is yes, okay? For no matter how many promises that God has made, they are yes in Christ. And he's actually proved that through his death on the cross which ratifies the promises of God for us. And so through him, the amen, okay, that means, word means I agree. It's like Mary with Gabriel when the word is given to her and she says, may it be to me, even as you, may your word be fulfilled in my life. The amen is spoken by us to the glory of God. So we have a need, that's a part of what God's promised to us through his atonement, through his covenant. We come and we say, this is the need, and what do we get from Jesus? He says, yes. And we say, may it be. And together, my amen mixed with the yes of Jesus brings about the explosion of God's power in the world. I know, I know some of you are thinking,

yes, but what about, and how come, and what if? I get it, you got questions. And you might think like this, I would have more faith if someone explained it all to me. Can I dare say this? No, you wouldn't. Because faith doesn't come from your understanding. Faith comes when you don't understand and you believe anyway what you haven't seen yet. It's actually the conviction of what God has said and true in spite of what you understand. So if you're saying, well, as soon as I understand how this all works together, then I'll believe. No, no, we're never gonna get to that place where we understand everything. But here's what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna pound on that wall. I'm gonna say whatever's in the way. Lord Jesus, we stand in faith now, based on your atonement, based on the covenant promise you've made, based on the inheritance, based on the authority of your name, we stand in faith and we believe and we come into agreement and we say what you've promised in our life. We know you've said yes, so yes, amen, do it, in our situation. And then God, in his time, in his way, according to his plan, delivers what we need in the world. And if you're okay with that, then let's go for it together. Are you ready now? Let's do this, come on.

This month, we're believing God to be a Capernaum church, to be a house of healing. We're gonna see God move in powerful ways. We have had 100 people praying every morning to push that wall down. Now we're gonna add several hundred more and we're gonna fast and pray during this month. Oh, it's gonna be good. I can't wait to see what God's gonna do. Now here's what we're gonna do to end the service. On your seat, there is a card and a pen. The team is gonna sing a song right now that is kind of a different song from normal because it's a ministry song. It's a song they're gonna sing over you and you can sing with them, but it's really designed to be a blessing song, okay? We want you to put on this card the miracle you want to see God do in your life this year. And then on your way out, you've probably passed this wall before, there's a big fence on the wall that says miracle wall. You're gonna take the card and you're gonna put it on that wall. And that will be your request. And it'll be there. When God answers the prayer, you're gonna go back to the wall and you're gonna flip it over to the other side. You're gonna write the praise report on it.

And eventually we'll have two sections to the wall. What God has done, what we're still asking for. And throughout the week, every time I pass the wall, I'm gonna go lay my hands on that saying Jesus name or do the miracles that you want to do. So you can take a moment to reflect and write. All right, if we can have our leaders come to the front and make themselves available. We're going to do this every weekend where we close the service. If you need prayer, we're going to now come into agreement with you and ask God for a release in your life or whoever you're praying for, whatever you're praying about, okay? As they're getting set, maybe you're starting the year off today and you're like, I am not right with God and I need to be. Maybe you've never given your life to Christ or you need to come back to him. This is a moment right now. Let's get right with God. The first thing that Jesus broke is the curse of sin and he provided atonement for your sin to save your soul and reconnect you with God, make you a child of God, right, an heir with Christ. But you've got to agree with him. You've got to say, yes, amen, do it in my life today, okay? So could you just close your eyes, turn your face toward heaven. If today you're here and you're not right with God and you want to get right with God and Christ or maybe for the first time you want to follow Jesus with your life, I'm going to count to three. On the number three, you're going to give that first indication of yes by lifting up your hand and then we're going to pray together and that'll be another yes in your life, okay? Get your hand ready. One, two, three, shoot your hand up, say that's me, that's me, that's me, Jesus, I say yes to you. And then we all pray out loud together, say Jesus, I thank you that you have atoned for my sin through your death on the cross. So I ask you, forgive me, cleanse my life, make me right with God, bring me into your family. I want you to save my soul. And Jesus, I ask that you'd help me start over today because I choose to surrender to you and to follow your lead in Jesus' name, amen, amen.
