The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: (Revelation 1:1 KJV)

There is one Revelation. Revelation is the Greek Word "Apokalupsis" means "to unveil, to disclose, to uncover."  Revelation means "The unveiling of Jesus.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11, 12 KJV)

The Word Revelation in Galatians 1:12 is the same Word in Revelation 1:1.

Only the High Priest could go behind the veil.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (Hebrews 10:19, 20 KJV)

And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. (2 Corinthians 3:13-16 KJV)

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: (Revelation 1:1 KJV)

Signified means "a sign, a symbol, or a signature”.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8 NKJV)

Look at how Jesus starts each verse.  I Am the Alpha and Omega Beginning and the End are capital letters.  The I am the way He introduced Himself to Moses.

Saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write pin a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” (Revelation 1:11 NKJV)

He never introduced Himself as The Alpha and Omega in the other 65 books.

In John 8, He introduced Himself as the I Am. This is the second time in Revelation 1, he introduces Himself that way. He is trying to get a point across.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. (Revelation 1:17 NKJV)

This is the third time; He introduces Himself that way.

“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. (Isaiah 44:6 NKJV)

Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’ (Isaiah 41:4 NKJV)

John was a Jew, who had only read the Torah.

Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” (Genesis 37:9, 10 NKJV)

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Acts 2:14-20 NKJV)

Peter is standing up with the Eleven.  How many brothers was in Joseph’s dream?  The Jews knew for the sun to turn black and for the moon to turn into blood meant that the Jews were not the center of the Universe anymore.  He was interpreting what Joseph meant in His dream.  The Jews knew what Peter was talking about.

Genesis through Malachi, 18 times 2 letters appear back-to-back Aleph and Tav in the middle of verses in the Old Testament.  Hebrew scholars say that it points to something else, but they did not know why it was there. He places His Sign or Signature in these verses.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1 NKJV)

In the Beginning God (Aleph and Tav) created Heaven and Earth.  A better translation in Hebrew is this, In the Beginning God (Jesus) created Heaven and Earth.  Jesus is claiming to be God in Genesis 1:1.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, (Revelation 1:1 NKJV)

Now, the Jews have to go back and stick Jesus in their Old Testament. Who wrote the book of Revelation? John

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:1-3 NKJV)

In the beginning, John starts the same way Genesis 1:1 does.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” (Revelation 22:13 NKJV)

Look, how Jesus closes the Book of Revelation. Jesus was always hiding Himself in the Old Testament.  When the Jews thought that the book was about them, it was about Jesus.

The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles are: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:26, 27 NKJV)
