The Manifestation Of God By: Dr. Pete Norris
Jesus is perfect theology. We confuse our assignment with our destiny. Our destiny is to go to heaven, our assignment is to bring heaven down here.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18 NKJV)
Jesus is the Son of God, who became the Son of Man. He then inherited everything as a Man.
For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. (John 5:26, 27 NKJV)
And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19 NKJV)
Look at "will have been bound, will have been loosen.”
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18 NKJV)
He didn't make the declaration as the Son of God. If Jesus could say as the Son of Man, all authority has been given to me, then there is someone we have been nervous about that has no authority. When you believe a lie, you empower the liar. The will of God is whatever is going on in heaven, should be going on down here.
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. (John 5:19 NKJV)
For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” (John 12:49, 50 NKJV)
I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. (John 5:30 NKJV)
People say what about Job, I am not a disciple of Job. Job was the question; Jesus was the answer.
Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, (John 5:25, 26 NKJV)
Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. (John 8:28 NKJV)
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. (John 14:10 NKJV)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:12 NKJV)
The manifestation of the attributes of God are seen in the person of Jesus. How did Jesus ‘deal with sin, sickness, and the hungry? How many storms did Jesus bless? We have ideas about God that are based on disappointments , not revelations. God showed His nature through the person of Jesus.
