Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; (Hebrews 4:1-4 NKJV)

Fear is "aware, cautious". Verse 2, Gospel of Grace. The evidence that you believe is rest. Unbelief will rob of the finished work of Christ. When we talk about rest, we are not talking about inactivity. We are not resting from work, but in work. Jesus wants us to enter His finished work. You labor to rest. Under the law we worked for God, under grace God works for us. Jesus rested on Sabbath because He was finished.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:8-11 NKJV)

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. (Colossians 2:16, 17 NKJV)

Jesus is your Sabbath. Jesus is your rest. Jesus is your source.

And again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.” Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, (Hebrews 4:5, 6 NKJV)

I believe it is finished.

Again, He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.” For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. (Hebrews 4:7-10 NKJV)

Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. (Hebrews 4:11 NKJV)

And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (Ephesians 2:6 NKJV)

Baby sits before he walks. The way you sit, and rest will determine walking and living.

“So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant— when you have eaten and are full— then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. (Deuteronomy 6:10-12 NKJV)

You didn't build the city.

Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” (John 4:6-10 NKJV)?

But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” (John 4:32 NKJV)

When you draw from Jesus and let Him minister to you, that food from Him refreshes Him.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8 NKJV)

We must receive from Jesus before we can freely give. You have to sit and rest and receive before we can freely give. Let's draw from Jesus.

But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42 NKJV)

Unless you learn how to receive from Jesus, you will not have anything to give man.

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. Today on Power in the Word. He's our rest. So when Jesus on the Sabbath day rested from all his work, it wasn't because he was tired, it was because he was finished. And he's given me and you that Sabbath rest that we need to rest in all the time in his finished work to where nothing should bother us because we know that everything's gonna turn out to our good regardless of what's going on around us because we know him so good that he's gonna look after us regardless of what we're feeling, what we're dealing with, what we're going through. He wasn't talking about a day, he was talking about himself was gonna bring you rest. Welcome to Power in the Word. Life is full of potential fears and chaos. God wants us to live in peace by trusting in Jesus Christ. So today Dr. Nosh shows us in the scripture how to rest in the loving arms of Jesus and overcome the trials of life. You'll be encouraged so you stay with us. And so tonight we're gonna talk about how to enter in to his rest and I want you to understand tonight that God wants you to have rest. Turn to somebody and say are you learning to rest? So tonight I want you to turn to Hebrews chapter 4 verse 1 and we're gonna get started with entering into his rest, not your rest. Sleeping is not what I'm talking about, okay? When I'm talking about entering into his rest tonight I'm not talking about you going to get in a nap or going to sleep in the middle of the day or going to sleep at all night, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about really entering into a place of rest in your life tonight to where you know that you know that you know that whatever's going on in your life it's going to turn out to your good. Now listen to me and I'm gonna show you a few things tonight that the Lord's been teaching me over the last couple of years. Hebrews chapter 4 verse 1 it says therefore since the promise remains of entering his rest, say entering his rest, let us fear least any of you seem to have come short of it. So he said the only fear you should have in your life is that you don't enter into his rest. So if you have any fear outside of that fear then that fear is not of God. But your fear should be that you don't enter into his pleat rest. Now what does that look like? How many of you have situations in your life? Here's a

scenario. For some people every day is a struggle. For some people every day is not a struggle. You don't have to sit around and worry about paying your lot bill if you got $10,000 in the bank your lot bills 125. Right? Correct? Now you have peace about that. You have rest in that because you don't have to you know what you're not concerned about it. Everything that you don't have that kind of control of in your life is a place you ain't entering into rest. Whether it's your health, whether it's your relationships, whether it's your money, whether it's your sickness, whether it's your body, whether any part of your life that you don't have complete rest in, then those are the part of your life that's out of control. And those are now listen to me I'm fixing to make a statement it's gonna be pretty strong. There's the areas of your life the enemy can get in. And there's exactly what's happening around the world today because COVID 2020 came and all of a sudden it put fear in people and now the enemy is using that fear and that fear and that fear and that fear and then you watch CNN and you watch Fox News and you watch whatever broadcast you'd like to watch. You need to turn them all off. But every which one you like to watch those are the ones that create fear because the economy is gonna fall apart. Who cares? Is this word truth when the economy falls apart or if the economy doesn't fall apart? Is the Word of God true regardless of what you're dealing with what you're going through? You know I see so many people I'm getting so many letters today about people that just don't have any rest. You ever been where you didn't have rest? You ever been where you didn't have any money? That ain't a peaceful place is it? You got to trust the Lord guys. You got to trust the Lord. You got to trust him. I'm telling you got to trust him and this word fear here in the actual in the actual Greek here is the word aware and cautious. In other words you need to be cautious that the enemy don't open that door. All that listen to me all the demonic depression that everybody's talking about in the world there's actually whether you believe it or not there's a devil and there's demons but they're defeated. Where do you think sickness comes from? Where do you think you fear comes from? Where do you think worry comes from? Where do you think

when you hear that doctor say something why does it immediately have to be terrible? Why does your mind go there? Because we hear it over and over and over and over and over every moment of our life. So it creates in us a place of not being able to rest. Look at verse 2. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them but the word which they heard did not profit them. Why didn't it profit them? Because it was not mixed with what? And those who heard it. So what do you have to do? What am I talking about when I'm saying faith? Now, listen to me just a minute. Anything you don't have rest in, you don't have faith for. Anything you don't have rest in is the things you want to be in control of. What drives you? What do you think about? What worries you? What gets you uptight? Can you imagine Jesus walking around on the earth and... How many of you believe He really did walk around? How many of you believe Jesus walked around on the earth and He said, I'll tell you what, I don't know if we're going to pay the lot bill or not. Here in Bethlehem, they've gone up on electricity. Think about it a minute. Was He any different than us? Did He not have people that He loved and cared about? And they went through situations? Why do you think He went through some difficult time when He went to Mary and Martha's house and Lazarus died? He didn't get shook up. He didn't even rush over there like we would have done. He went four days later. And then He gets there and what does she say? She said, if you'd have been here three, four days ago, He'd have lived. He said, honey, you don't understand.

He's alive already. You just don't know it. Why? Because He rested in who He was. He knew who He was. So He didn't have to be concerned about what was going to happen because He knew what was going to happen. He was bigger than what could happen. See, we're not really concerned. We're not really don't think that we're bigger than what can happen to us. Listen to me. God loves you. He's not going to put these things on you. You open the door through fear. Guys, you need to listen to me. This is... I'm passionate about this today because you're opening the doors of some of this stuff that's coming into your life through fear. Don't give Him any credit. He's defeated. Look at verse 3. For we who have believed do enter that rest as He has said. So I swore in my judgment, in my wrath, they shall not enter my rest, although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. He said, the old covenant could never enter into that place of rest. Now, listen to me very carefully. And listen to me good. If you're not entering into rest, you're still in the law. You can say you ain't if you don't... if you want to.

But if you ain't resting in what He's done, then you're back in the law. And I'm not bringing condemnation because there's no condemnation of those in Christ Jesus. But I'm just telling you based on the truth of the Word of God, the Bible said He preached faith in them, but they couldn't believe it because they didn't use their faith to activate it. Are you using your faith? Do you trust Him? Do you know that you know that you know that it's going to turn out all right? You say, yeah, but do you really when you get home alone? When you really get all those bills in, you have an extra thing that comes in, you ain't expecting it, and all of a sudden you ain't planning for it because you forgot it and all of a sudden, bam! Look at 4. For He has spoken in a certain place of a seventh day in this way, and God rested on the seventh day from all His works. Now, guys, I'm telling you God gave me some revelation right here. In verse 2, He's talking about the gospel of grace. But look at this. The evidence that you believe. Now, listen to me very carefully. The evidence that you believe is rest. And here's the thing. We don't talk about this much in the church today, but most people's got a controlling spirit. And you say, what do you mean by that? Here's what I mean by that.

The things that you can be in control of, you don't let God deal with. You just call God when you can't do them anymore. And if you notice, the things that flow into your life and the grace that flows into your life is the things you let go of, the things you try to hold on to is the struggles you have in your life. Some of you have a constant fear of going broke. Some of you have a constant fear of getting old and being left alone. Some of you have a constant fear of you're going to go through life and at 75, everything's going to turn around and you're going to end up in a place because Grandma did. Guess we got to get away and trust the Word. Listen, the same faith that got us born again when I was in my 20s is the same faith that ought to be even stronger that's alive in Pete right now at 60-something. It ought to be rising up. We ought to know that we know that we can trust God more than we've ever trusted Him before because we know Him better. We ought to be so consumed with Him that when the enemy wants to bring something at us, we immediately say, you know what, I'm not receiving that because I'm resting in that finished Word. Now watch this, this is a powerful scripture right here. For he has spoken in a certain place. He has spoken in a certain place. Now the word place here in the actual Greek is the word topos. Now stay with me a minute. It's the word topos.

And the word topos means a specific position of opportunity. So what he's saying here, for he has spoken in a certain place of a seventh day in this way. So there's a seventh day coming. Now what's the seventh day for? It's for rest. But watch this, guys. It ain't talking about a day. It's talking about Jesus. He's our rest. So when Jesus on the seventh day rested from all His work, it wasn't because He was tired. It was because He was finished. And He's given me and you that seventh rest that we need to rest in all the time in His finished work to where nothing should bother us because we know that every... Everything's going to turn out to our good regardless of what's going on around us because we know Him so good that He's going to look after us regardless of what we're feeling, what we're dealing with, what we're going through. He wasn't talking about a day. He was talking about Himself was going to bring you rest. And He was talking about you entering into His rest, not into your rest where you're relaxing and watching a football game. That's not what He's talking about. Now watch this, guys. Watch this. Unbelief will rob you of the finished work of Christ. When we talk about rest, we're not talking about being inactive. That's not what we're talking about. We're not resting from work, we're resting in the work.

We're not resting from it, we're resting in it. Guys, He wants all that stress that you're feeling to be removed. I'm telling you, listen to me. We have so much on what we've achieved in life and that's how we determine what we're worth. Listen to me. You're worth more than your efforts. Guys, you say, you're passionate about this. You got that right. Because you labor to rest. Under the law, we work for God. Under grace, God works for us. Can you trust Him? Can you trust God more than you trust you? Or are you still trying to do, well, pastor, do we just do nothing? No, you do exactly what He tells you to do. But listen to me. He said, the blessing of the Lord will make you rich and not add any sorrow to it, Proverbs 10, 22. The blessing of the Lord will make you rich and He'll add no sorrow to it. Are you resting in what He's done for you? So let's go on here. God, listen to me, He knows where there's enough stuff lost to change your life forever. You ain't got to buy a lottery ticket. If you are, I'm not condemning you. Buy you two of them. But He's your source. He's your Sabbath. He's your rest. He's your rest. Do you understand what I mean? He's your rest. He's sitting down and resting on the Sabbath day and then He wants you to rest in Him. That's what Sabbath day is. It ain't a day to be holy and sanctify everybody and come to church on Sunday. He's our Sabbath. He's our place of rest. He's what we rest in. He wants you to just sit inside of Him and let Him sit inside of you and make the things happen in your life. And you out of the way and you just speaking and seeing it activate. But what am I saying to you today? I want you to go with me to Exodus. He said, remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

Six days you shall labor and do all work. But the Sabbath day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work. You, nor your sons, nor your daughters, nor your male servants, nor your female servants, nor your cattle, nor your strangers who are within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. And He rested on the Sabbath day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Now under the law, what was He talking about here? He took the Sabbath day. What was the Sabbath day under the Old Covenant? It was Saturday. It wasn't Sunday. So we've really got that wrong because we're going to church on Sunday, which is the first day of the week. But if you think about it a minute, did God really have it wrong or did He really have it right? Because if Sunday is the first day, then Saturday is the seventh day. He rested on the Sabbath day because He had done everything He needed to do on the sixth day. But He created everything in six days, but He created the man on the sixth day too. Why? He created everything before He made the man. Why? Because He didn't want man to work. He didn't want man to get any of the credit. He wanted man to just enjoy the blessings of the Lord. Well now, if He restored us back to the garden, don't you think He's done the same thing? He wants us to rest in His finished work? Don't He want us to rest in His Sabbath? He's the Sabbath. He's the rest. He's everything. And you can trust Him, guys. I'm telling you right now, you can trust Him. Turn to somebody and say, you've got to trust Him. Look at Colossians chapter 2, verse 16 and 17. Watch this now. So let no one judge you in what you eat or what you drink. How many times you saw somebody drinking something you didn't think they ought to be drinking? Don't chat with me. Just talk to me. Okay, that ain't what it said, is it? Do not let no one judge you.

So let no one judge you in what you drink or what you eat. Or regarding a festival or a new moon or a blood moon or Sabbaths. He said, let no one judge you based on those things. Now, I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm going to make a statement right here. And it's not going to go over well. All the Jewish customs are parallels of Jesus, but they're not what you ought to be living by. And all the festivals is not what you and I ought to be living by. Because here's what we don't understand. There's Passover and then there's Pentecost. Now, everybody stops at Pentecost. So most of the Pentecostal people's only got two-thirds of Jesus. Because the complete person in Christ is the tabernacle. Which is the third feast based on the fullness of the Pentecost and Passover and the Pentecost and then the tabernacle. Are we not his tabernacle? Are we not what he's been desiring to live in all his life? All he's been desiring to do is live in Pete Norris all his life and live in Ron and live in... Carolyn and live in Ron and live in Carolyn and live in Larry and live in Nikki He always been want to do this whole life is living us now Why if he was he want to live in for us and it caused a lot of heartache He wants us to rest in the finished work and just rest enter into his rest Guys, I'm telling you man. I know this is right. So Jesus your Sabbath and Jesus is your rest and Jesus is your source Go to Hebrews 4 We're gonna go to five and six and again in this place that place of Sabbath they shall not enter my rest Look at verse six Since therefore it remains that some must enter it and those whom it was first preached did not enter because of what They didn't enter that rest because of disobedience now watch this guys What is it possible that the reason we can't enter into that place of rest is because we're walking in unbelief

Are we really do we you know, God said he'd supply all your needs if you're worried about him Then you don't think he said that If he said by my stripes, you're healed it. You're not walking in healing Then you don't believe he said that you said pastor. Wait a minute. You put me on the spot I sure am because it's time for people to be put on the spot Why because the reason they didn't activate the blessings in the favor of God is because they didn't use their faith It doesn't matter how much you read the Bible if you don't take the faith and apply it it ain't never gonna happen See you just the more you read the word the stronger you ought to become in your faith The longer it lasts to make it happen is the greater your strength ought to become You know, I mean, I can't pick up weights and go in there and bench press 200 pounds the first day He's got to work up to it. You got to work your faith Start believing for a $20 water bill Kept on believing for something else keep on believing for something else believe for something greater believe for something greater and use your faith I'll make that thing happen and after a while when it crosses you because it ain't a matter if it's coming it's coming So you got to believe it's finished You got to believe it's finished guys go to Hebrews chapter 4 verse 7 Hebrews 4 is good Again, he designated a certain day saying in David Today after such a long time as it has been said today if you will hear his voice do not Harden your heart What's he saying to us guys? They didn't believe him Do you believe you've read the Bible we've had 60 weeks of healing school Do we believe it Do we believe we should be prospered my beloved runner We should all things you prospered me and help even his soul prospers Oh, do we think that God will meet all our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus? Do we believe that greater seat is in us than he is in the world? Do we really believe that he wants us to have peace? He said I'll give you peace passes all understanding you can't even comprehend it I'll give you my rest that you can enter into my do you believe it?

What part of him do you believe that you're gonna go to heaven and glory be to God? I'm gonna I'm gonna Nick and tuck and I'm gonna I'm gonna hold on to the end the cord And I'm gonna make it in glory to be the God I'm gonna die in peace and everybody's gonna come and see me and Talk good about me All right, I'm not trying to be mean I'm trying we got to get this thing in our spirit to the point that Regardless of what we're dealing with in our lives. We know that he's gonna keep on keeping on Look at verse 8 For if Joshua that means who? Jesus had given them rest then he would not afterwards have spoken of another day Joshua could not give those people rest man They never entered into the promised land only Joshua and Caleb entered in which was the Hebrew and the Jew did you I mean? The Hebrew and the Hebrew and the Jew yes The Gentile and the Jew that's the only two people that's what Joshua and Caleb means Guys, we got to understand if Joshua could have given peace and he could have give them rest They were Jesus would not have spoken of another day. He spoke of another day remember Look at this look at verse 9 They're therefore there remains therefore a rest for the people of God Do y'all see those leaves falling or am I just seeing stuff? I Just want to see if y'all are alert There there remains therefore a rest for the people of God now Ron and Penny and Kathy and Debbie There remains therefore a rest for the people of God That doesn't mean when you die Look at verse 10 For he who has entered his rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from his

Have you have you turned your works over to him You reckon that's what Paul meant when Paul said I'm a chiefs if it's all sinners, but I am what I am By the grace of God. Think about it a minute. I'm gonna read this verse again. For he who has entered his rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from his. What are you worried about? What do you, what haven't you got in control of? Some of you've got money down pat, you don't sit around and worry about it. Think about it a minute. Some of you've got money down pat and you don't sit around and worry about it. You may not have a trillion dollars in the bank but you got enough to know that you're okay. And you trust God in that arena. And then some of you are dealing with your health because you're getting older and situations are coming into that body and you're thinking differently and you're acting differently. And what used to jump around don't jump around anymore. Right? And so what does that do? That plays with our minds. That plays with our minds. And what happens is we haven't put that place, a place of rest to where we can trust him. And so we haven't entered that place of rest to where we know that he's got that situation. 4 in 11. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest. Least anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. In other words guys, I don't, I'm just reading the scripture. I didn't, I didn't write it. I did help him. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest. Least anyone fall according to what? Their unbelief. If you don't, if you don't believe him then you're not walking in rest. I had a guy to tell me the other day. He called me. And here's what he told me. He said I went to the doctor and I got a terrible report. He said but you looking at a dude that don't care. Because whether I live or whether I die, I'm in Christ. And I thought about that for a minute and I thought you don't care? And then he spoke this to me. He said son I've been walking with the Lord for 55 years. He's got me. He said I'm 79. I've lived a long life. Let's pack a suitcase and get out of here. Now I'm not saying that's to what we should be saying. But it's a shame when those people can trust the Lord more than the church that is walking with him every day. And we sit around and live in fear because we think we're gonna be alone. We're gonna be left alone.

We ain't gonna have nobody to look after us. We're gonna end up in a place by ourselves on a bed. You've seen it all. It's played through your mind. You've seen the video. Haven't you? You can't let that thing feed. You got to cover it and nip it in the bud when it starts to feed and to roll. You got to speak this word and know that God's gonna sustain you. He's got you. He's gonna look after you. And that you can trust him with every situation in your life. And some of the situations I'm sorry to say we open the door to them. But what comes out of our mouth and what we think and what we say and how we control our lips and how do we feel when we're under pressure. But thank God that we got a God that's more than enough. Go to Ephesians 2 and 6. And raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Now if you notice it don't say walk around or run around. It says he raised us up together and made us sit together. What did Jesus do on the seventh day? He sat down and it was finished right? He rested. Not because he was tired because he was finished. And then what did he do? He raised himself up went and sit down in heavenly places. What did he do when he was talking to him in Hebrew in Luke 4 and 18? He sat down in the massage chair because he wanted him to know it wasn't about works anymore. It wasn't about walking around. The priest never had nowhere to sit under the Old Covenant. Jesus sit down in the massage chair because it's over. Guys you can sit and rest in his finished work. That's what the Sabbath day is. His perfect rest. But you think about it a minute. A person that's never walked. Let's use the man that was for 18 years. For 38 years at the Pool of Bethesda. God said take up your thing and walk. But he asked him a question. Here's what he asked him. He said do you want to be made well? Now what was the guy's reply? Because y'all read it. What did it say? He said no. He said every time I start to get in somebody jumps in before me. What's your excuse? For the reason you ain't trusting him. Jesus didn't ask him that. He asked him do you want to be made well? And what did the guy say? Every time I start to get in there somebody jumps in there before me. He didn't ask him that. And then what did he say? He said take up your cotton

walk. Guy ain't walking 38 years and he walked off. Guys, come on. If God could do that, then why can't he do it now? Why can't he turn your situation around? Why can't he take your financial crisis and all your mistakes that you've made financially in your life and say, you know what, that's all forgiven. Let's wipe the slate clean. Let's move forward. I still got you. I'm still gonna bless you. I'm still gonna look after you. I'm still gonna pour out blessings to you. I'm still gonna give you favor. You still can walk in peace. Well, pastor, you don't understand. I've made so many mistakes in my life financially. Anybody in here that's never made a financial mistake, I want you to stand up because I'm gonna give you a mic and I want you to talk to all of us. How many has not made a bad purchase at some time in your life or made a financial decision that you shouldn't have got? You bought that car when you knew you didn't want it. But you, but it burnt in your heart just a few minutes. Then when you got that whole thing home about that third payment. Oh, sheekable Sunday level. I wish I hadn't bought that thing. Right? Anybody in here hadn't done that at some point in time? Some of you even married the wrong person one time or two. Right? But watch this. Watch this. Listen to me. God spoke this to me very clearly. The way you sit and rest will determine your walking and your living. The way you sit and rest is gonna determine your walking and your living. Go to Deuteronomy chapter 6. If you notice, I ain't be used but one scripture out of the New Testament. So it shall be when the Lord your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build. Guys, this is under the Old Covenant. He promised them I'm gonna give you cities and I'm gonna give you places that you didn't build. I'm gonna give you houses that you didn't build. I'm gonna give you vineyards that you didn't build. Let's go to verse 11. Houses full of all good things which you did not fill. Hewed out wells which you did not dig. Vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant. When you have eaten and are full. Look at verse 12. And then beware lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage. I'm gonna give

you stuff you didn't even ask for. I'm gonna give you stuff you didn't build. I'm gonna give you wells you didn't dig. Give you vineyards you didn't plant. I'm gonna give you trees that you didn't do. Olive trees that you didn't even plant. I want you to understand God wants to bless you. He's the same yesterday and today and forever. And he wants you to be blessed. He wants you to be blessed. Guys you got to trust what he says. You got to trust him. You got to trust him. Because what happens is we fall in this mundane life and we go complacency with our life and we say you know God will do it for them but he won't do it for me. I go through the same old process over and over over. I'm gonna tell you something and I'm gonna make a statement that's gonna cut really deep. Check your unforgiveness and your bitterness and your resentment. Because that might be the root of your attitude might be determination of your attitude.
