My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16 KJV)

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: (Romans 3:22 KJV)

We believe in Jesus Christ to be saved by the faith of Jesus Christ.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17 KJV)

Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah). (Galatians 3:16 AMPC)

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV)

That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Romans 8:17 NKJV)

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:18 KJV)

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness (Matthew 6:22-23 KJV)

For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah). However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. (2 Corinthians 4:6-7 AMPC)

Treasure is mystery.

The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints), To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory. Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), that we may present every person mature (full-grown, fully initiated, complete, and perfect) in Christ (the Anointed One). (Colossians 1:26-28 AMPC)

Our eyes must be single to have our bodies full of light.

Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life. (John 8:12 AMPC)

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14 AMPC)

In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it]. (John 1:4-5 AMPC)

There it was–the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person. (John 1:9 AMPC)

A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel. (Luke 2:32 NKJV)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20 KJV)

Could it be any clearer that our former identity is now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we would not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin’s power. Obviously, a dead person is incapable of sinning. And if we were co-crucified with the Anointed One, we know that we will also share in the fullness of his life. And we know that since the Anointed One has been raised from the dead to die no more, his resurrection life has vanquished death and its power over him is finished. For by his sacrifice he died to sin’s power once and for all, but he now lives continuously for the Father’s pleasure. So let it be the same way with you! Since you are now joined with him, you must continually view yourselves as dead and unresponsive to sin’s appeal while living daily for God’s pleasure in union with Jesus, the Anointed One. (Romans 6:6-11 TPT)

Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. (Colossians 1:22 NLT)

That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].

Today on power in the world. Once he gave you the faith to believe in him now he gives you the faith of Christ to live it out. That's why he said I'm the author and the finisher of your faith. Philippians chapter 1 verse 6 you think I've started something in you I'm not gonna bring the completion? Guys come on he's got you but you just listen to me we can't get past the old man because we don't see ourself declared righteous and the faith of Christ. We're trying to believe that it's us. It's not us at all. He did a finished work and he made us complete in him. Welcome to power in the word. Faith is critical to a believer's walk with Christ. So where does faith originate? Is faith a gift of God or a believer's responsibility? Well today Dr. Norris answers these questions and more as he examines the faith of Jesus Christ. This teachings a powerful revelation so stay with us and be encouraged. We're gonna talk today about the faith of Christ and you know I woke up this morning about 120 and this was on my mind and the Lord began to show me some things about I believe we've we missed a little small nugget I've been asking the Lord to show me the truth I want to know the whole truth you know what's my part what's his part what's his part and I want to stay out of it if it ain't my part but I'm gonna read something that the Lord gave me this morning at 320. God's perfect righteousness was revealed in and through the faith of Jesus Christ and was revealed to faith our faith which we receive from him. Now I want you to think about that a minute. How many of you know that he gives us the faith to believe but not only do we get his faith to believe he gives us the faith of Christ once we believe. In other words is his the faith of Christ that justifies and makes us right. Only thing we have to do is believe. Belief what? So go to Colossians chapter 3 verse 11 in the NLT. In this new life it doesn't matter if you're a Jew, if you're a Gentile, if you're circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters and he lives and he lives where? So it doesn't matter whether you're a Jew, doesn't matter whether you're a Gentile, doesn't matter whether you're circumcised, doesn't matter if you're uncircumcised, doesn't matter if you're civilized or a slave, or if you're free. He lives in all. Now think about that just a minute. All this is coming clear to me. What happens is he puts his spirit inside of us, his light, his life, and somebody comes

along and ignites that light inside of us. And we recognize who we are. See I think we've missed something here because we're trying to find God. God's not lost. I want you to understand that. He's not lost. So I think we're looking to try to get people to be like us, but the Holy Spirit, all he wants to do is he wants to give you the faith to believe. The Spirit, one of the gifts of the Spirit is what? Faith? So how many of you know that you've got the measure of faith? Romans 12 and 3. You've been given the measure of faith. Now watch this. I want you to go to Galatians chapter 2 in the Passion Bible. My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and it no longer lives. So you don't have an old self. So when you're talking about your old self, you don't have one. Your old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine for the anointed one. Now what's the anointed one? Christ lives his life through me. We live in union as one. Now listen just a minute. How many of you know that me and Christ are one? You and Christ are one. We live in union. Our old nature is gone. We don't have that nature. You're the only one that recognizes you've got it. And everybody else that don't recognize Christ. Paul said we don't judge anybody by the flesh. So how are you going to judge anybody? You can't. Unless you judge them by Christ. When Christ come into my life, he lives his life now through me because we're in union as one. One means uno, which means unity. It means non-separable. So there's no way we can backslide because you can't be separated from one. Now in John 17, 21 through 23, what did Jesus say? He said, I pray that they'll be one as me and the Father are one. One. There's that word again. Unis. Uno. So when I understand unity, when I understand oneness, I understand that we can't be separated. It's not like I got him and then I lose him by my behavior. I've got him, but the reality is I haven't got him. He's got me. Let's go and read the rest of it. My new life is empowered how? By the faith of the Son of God So that's the Christ right the anointed one lives his life through me now My life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me dispensing his life into mine Guys do you understand that he come in and lives inside of your life? He invaded your territory. He got in your dance arena And because of that he don't leave your dance arena. It's not based on your performance. It's based on the finished work of Christ

So when we understand that it's the finished work that made us whole not what we do Now go with me to Galatians chapter 2 verse 16 in the King James Version Knowing that a man is not justified now That was justified mean declared righteous by the works of the law. What's the law talking about? The 613 Levitical priest laws under the Old Covenant the 10 commandments 10 commandments are not for us today guys We got a new commandment John 13 34 love one another's he's loved us, right now Watch this, but the faith of Jesus Christ even so have believed in Jesus Even when we have believed in Jesus not believed of Jesus But believed in Jesus that we might be justified by the faith of Christ. So what made me justified? The faith of Christ that he put inside of me is made me justified Now watch this. Let's go back. Even we have believed in Christ Jesus Now I want you to see something The word believed in Christ Jesus here and the word justified by the faith of Christ is two Greek words And it means pristo Christo, which means it's an adjective That Affects it's not in Christ in is he is us coming in to him. He's recognizing that he loves us the second one which is the faith of Christ is recognizing that We love him Are you with me? He loves us and then we love him But he gives us the faith to love him because he justified us by his own faith Guys come on. You got to get this This is it seems real simple But we we've missed it because we're trying to believe all the time What made me he gave me the faith to believe that I'm justified and declared righteous his faith made me right his faith His faith made me righteous Let's read on there here That we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law for by the works of the law Shall no flesh be declared righteous justified Now it's not on your sheet, but it's in my heart let's go to Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 4

Guys it ain't about you Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all that that Believe for there is no difference now. We take this and we run with it, and we say okay It's about believing and it is about believing, but he gave you the faith to declare you righteous with his own faith In other words Jesus was able To believe the Father perfectly So did Jesus have perfect faith? Did he believe everything he said That's the faith you got by the Holy Spirit Come on guys come on get with me now. Let's let's get away from that religion cast that religion away So what's this when we believe in Jesus Christ to be saved? You ready you hear this? By the faith of Jesus Christ in other words we believe in Jesus Christ to be saved But by the faith of Jesus Christ, which he gives us He's doing it all and the church is sitting around trying to believe And the church is sitting around trying to believe Trying to receive my healing because I want to believe you got his faith now and Jesus was able to believe God perfectly So you're able to believe God perfectly Now see this this this tears church broke up because we don't understand that we're made perfect now go to Romans chapter 1 verse 17 in the King James and Therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith now. We understand that scripture, right? I believe in Christ Jesus by faith and then what happens

his faith takes over and I'm declared righteous and justified by his own faith he gave me the faith to believe in him and then he gave me the faith that once I got in him to do what? to have the faith that God had inside him for it's written the just shall live how? by faith, what faith? his faith the faith of Christ not only did he save you, he delivered you and justified you and declared you righteous with his own faith now think about it just a minute under the old covenant under the four gospels, nineteen miracles took place and he said it's by your faith, where did they get the faith? now we understand how the faith's in all now this ain't in your scripture either but I want to go to Galatians chapter 3 verse 11 now it's evident that no person is justified, declared righteous, brought into right standing with God through the law for the scripture says the man in right standing with God, the just, the righteous, shall live by and out of the faith that he through and by faith is declared righteous in right standing with God let's go back and do that again now it is evident that no person is justified, how? or declared righteous or brought into right standing with God through the law so we know that under the law you couldn't fulfill because you're going to break one of the laws, there's 613 you can't even live up to them and if you break one of them the bible says you broke them all, right? now who didn't break any? and ain't it amazing that you got his faith now? that same faith that resurrected out of the tomb that resurrected me, he gave us the faith to believe

so you and I are walking around with the faith of Christ the man in right standing with God, the just, the righteous, shall live by and out of the faith live by and out of the faith that he through and by faith is declared righteous in the end so we're going to live out of the faith who declared us righteous, who declared us righteous? and now you and I, we have his kind of faith to operate because now we're him on the earth obviously referring to one individual who is none other than Christ the Messiah now, how many Christ's we got in here? he's not talking about your separate individual people you're one in him Jesus said, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father Paul said, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father how long you got to be with me, Thomas? no, I won't believe until I put my... well, I'll tell you what, I'll let you do that if it'll make you believe because if I can get you to believe in me then my faith will kick in and you'll have my faith of Christ I ain't got to worry about you anymore oh, come on somebody, we got to get out of this church mentality we got to understand that the kingdom of God's living on the inside of us for lo here, lo there, for the kingdom of God's living on the inside of us it's not about what you do, it's about what he did and you acknowledging what he did he done a finished work and turn to somebody and say, I'm some kind of something go to Galatians chapter 3 verse 26 for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus so you've been made sons of God by believing in him but once he gave you the faith to believe in him now he gives you the faith of Christ to live it out that's why he said I'm the author and the finisher of your faith Philippians chapter 1 verse 6 you think I've started something in you I'm not going to bring to completion? guys, come on, he's got you but you just... listen to me

we can't get past the old man because we don't see ourself Declared righteous and the faith of Christ. We're trying to believe that it's us. It's not us at all He did a finished work and he made us complete in him Colossians 2 and 9 says you're the Godhead in bodily father son the Holy Spirit verse 10 says now you're complete in him There's nothing broken with you. Nothing lacking in you. Nothing messed up in you. You just got a thinking disorder Because you don't know your identity and who you are in Christ Look at verse 27 for as many as you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ Who put it on you? He did because he gave you his faith Turn to somebody I say I'm living by the faith of Christ It's not my faith. I'm not trying to believe he made me the believer Look at 28. There is neither Jew nor Greek. There's neither slave nor free. There's neither male nor female You are all one in Christ Jesus Christ is not his last name. It's the anointed in his anointing Are you understanding what I'm saying? Jesus was buried but Christ got up Think about it a minute There's neither a Jew nor Greek and we got so many people in the world that believe you know What the Jews are the most important people in the world. That's not what he said. He said we're all in Christ Let me tell you something if a Jew doesn't believe in Christ and get the G the father through Christ He ain't going in but what made us he made us a believer guys. Where are we going into? I'm not talking about going into heaven I'm not going into who we are in Christ Jesus and living and moving and having our being in him We all just gonna be one Christ on the earth That's what the kingdom is about That's why in Revelation 1 and 6 that he's made us kings and priests Revelation 5 and 10. We're kings and priests on the earth We got to understand who we are. If you don't people's gonna tell you all the time who you're not Think about it. Who are you? Why do you think he went around asking all the time? Who do you say that? I am who do they say that? I am I want them to understand who I am. See you're never gonna find you until you find him in you That's what that's what the church is struggling with

You know, we've put up this big old picture about you know, what you got to do it my way, man You got to accept you got to believe you got to confess you got to come to the altar. Don't let him come back drunk six months later, though Come on guys Who is this man named Jesus is he not more powerful than your adversary? Be sober be vigilant for your adversary walk around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour Listen, God doesn't have an adversary you and I do but we victorious because first John 3 and 8 said the Son of God come Destroy the works of a devil you and I are victorious and he gave us the faith to be victorious. He did it all He did it all that'll be a good song. He did it all Look at verse 29 and if you are Christ Then you're Abraham seed and heirs according to the promise are you crying And I know they don't mean are you his? That means are you Christ? Are you like Christ? And what's this? He gave you the faith to be like him. He he gave you the faith of Christ to declare you and justify you righteous He gave you the faith to believe that it ain't your faith you ain't got to believe he made you a believer because he gave You the faith of Christ Go to John 17. Let's go to verse 21 in the Amplified Classic That they all may be this is Jesus prayer, right that they may all be what? Well, then I that probably didn't happen did he probably didn't get his prayer answer. He didn't have enough faith

And that they may all be one just as you are father Are in me and I in you that they may also be one in us So that the world may believe and be convinced that you sent me I mean, I've been to Jesus just came to earth not only to die for your sins But he came to earth to show you how you supposed to be living on this earth look at verse 22 I've given to them the glory and honor which you have given me that they may be one even as we are one Guys come on 23 I Am them you and me in order that they may become one and perfectly united That the world may know and definitely recognize that you sent me and that you have loved them Even as you have loved me. He said let the world can see that we're all one. Let them be one as me and you are one. Think about that a minute. You don't have any problems. My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. You've rejected knowledge and therefore I must reject you. Think about it a minute. God loves you, man. He's crazy about you. He ain't mad at you. He ain't torn up with you. He ain't going to strike you down. He loves you. He's passionate about you. Now, go meet Romans chapter 8 in the New King James. And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, we may also be glorified together. Think about it a minute. How many of you know you're a joint heir with Jesus? So everything Jesus got, you got. But think about it a minute. How did you get what Jesus got? He gave you the faith of Christ to get it. Not only did he call you into the fold, he gave you his faith once you got in. Look at somebody and say, I got the faith of Jesus. Think about that a minute. Let that soak in a little bit. You got the faith of Jesus. You're just like him. There ain't no difference between you and him.

Now, some of you are saying all right, but you don't believe it. Go to Acts 26 and 18. To open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light. And from the power of Satan unto God that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith that is in me. Now, you see this? He said, I'm going to open their eyes and turn them from darkness. Now, I don't want to be mean right here, but you know what the actual word for darkness is? Ignorance. And he's going to turn them to the light, which is knowledge. How many of you know that he put his light in us? I'm going to show you this in scripture. I'm not going to tell you anything that's not in scripture. So he's going to put his light in us, right? How many of you believe that? Okay, go to Matthew chapter 6, verse 22. The light of the body is your what? You ever heard people say that your eyes are windows to your soul? That ain't what it says. The Bible says the light of the body is in the eye, is the eye. If therefore thine eye be single, then your whole body shall be full of light. What's he saying here? He's saying that you should have a single eye. You should keep your eye on the prize. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways, right? Don't let him think he's going to receive anything from God. Now, let's go to 23. But if thine eye be evil, then thy whole body shall be full of ignorance. It don't mean darkness. It means ignorance. If therefore the light, the knowledge that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness. So he's telling you, if you don't keep an eye, which is the light to your body, if you don't keep a single eye on the thing that you need to be looking at, eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for it. But, the Holy Spirit is going to reveal all the things he's freely given us. See, if we don't understand that we're the Christ walking around on the earth, that we're the Holy Spirit living inside of us, and that Holy Spirit guides us, teaches all things, brings all things our members said to us, and so now the Holy Spirit not only does that, but it tells all the things that have been freely given to us. What's he given you? All I hear about is what the devils took.

We're greater than the devil. Jesus conquered the devil. And we're victorious. Because greater is he that is in us than he is in the world. No weapon formed against us can prosper. And everything that rises up has got to come down. Why? Because we're full of the light, man. I walked around in condemnation many, many years for this reason. Because I was trying to work it, trying to make it happen, trying to please God with my life. Go to 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 6 in the Amplified. For God, who said, Let light shine out of ignorance, has shown in our hearts as to beam forth the light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and the glory of God, as it is manifest in the person and is revealed in the face of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Guys, do you understand that he's shining in your heart? The light of the glorious gospel. That light is the life of Christ. That light is on the inside of us. Our eyes got to be single-minded. That light will shine out of us. Watch this, verse 7. However, we possess this precious treasure. Now, I want you to understand something. The word treasure here can be translated as the word mystery. We possess this precious treasure, the divine light of the gospel, in frail human vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of power may be shown. to be from God and not of ourselves. He said, I'm going to shine out of you. I'm going to reveal the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You don't put a light under a bushel, but you let it shine. That us may see the good works and glorify the Father.

Me and you are the light of the world. Think about it. Go to Colossians 1, 26, 27, 28. The mystery, this precious thing, treasure that was put inside of us, of which was hidden for ages and generations from angels and men, but is now revealed to God's holy people. Now, look at somebody and say, I'm a saint. Now, I know you really have a hard time with that because you're looking at what you do. But really, think about it a minute. You're a saint. If you're God's holy people, He made you holy. See, He did it all. You don't have to do it. He made you holy, guys. Look at verse 27. To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles. How many of you know at one time you were a Gentile? Are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the hope of realizing the glory. Think about it a minute. He's made you what you are. He put His hope inside of you. He put His glory inside of you. You are the mystery of all the things of the kingdom that's on the inside of us, and that's the purpose of the Holy Spirit. To reveal to us who we are. We have the faith of Christ. We have the faith of Christ. Nothing is impossible to us. What did He tell us in Luke 9.23? Nothing is impossible to those that believe. What do you believe? You've got to believe that He's inside of you, and that's He gives you the faith to believe everything else. It ain't about... Listen, the church is sitting around trying to get healed, trying to believe, trying to be holy, trying to prosper. It's automatic if you just believe who you are, and let His faith do the work. Look at 29... 28, excuse me. Him we preach and proclaim, warning and demolishing everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom, comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God, that we may present

every person mature, full-grown, fully initiated, complete, and perfect in Christ, the Anointed One. He said we're going to present everybody in Christ. For God so loved the world, cosmos, that He gave His only begotten Son, that every believer in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He died for the whole world, man. He died for the whole world, for me and you to live and be whole and be free. Those drug addicts on the street, they're not... The church is trying to throw them to the pit. Listen, where did they get their breath? They got it from Him in the beginning, and He breathed into them, gave them my breath. They're walking around with God's breath and God's light on the inside of them, but here's what the church is doing. Oh, you know, brother, you can't act like that. You can't do that. You can't do that. You're going to hell for that. Well, I tell you, I don't understand it. I tried to live right, and I can't do it. Neither can anybody else. It's His grace and mercy on our life. What does the Bible say in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8? He said, by faith we have been saved. Through faith, it's not of yourself, it's the gift of God.
