Today on Power in the Word Look how the Catholic Church really appraises Mary now Why? Because they go back to Genesis 1 and 3 and they understand Hebrew and they understand prophetically how important Mary was That's not the one we talk to that's not the one we confess our sins to it's Jesus Christ that come and took our sins and Removed our sins and made us whole it was that new birth that gave birth out of this little 15 year old girl that everybody Talked about for nine months. She was carrying the revelation. What are you carrying? You're doing the same thing You're carrying the Messiah around When you gonna give birth to him? Welcome to Power in the Word The birth of Jesus is normally associated with the Christmas story But is there a deeper meaning to this virgin birth that relates to you and I? Well today Dr. Narsh looks at the parallel of Jesus and the new birth in you and I and how we can be Transformed by the revelation of Jesus Christ. This is not your typical Christmas story. So stay tuned I Want to talk about dream seed and as you think about the first thing that pops in your mind is you know? He's gonna teach you a sermon on on us. It's having a vision. That's that's not what I'm I'm talking about they Jesus having a vision and God having a vision so turn with me to Luke chapter 1 verse 18 and we're gonna talk about the dream seed But we're gonna talk about how the birth of Jesus was the law and how it birthed in to the grace So that's what we're gonna talk about. So let's go to Luke chapter 1 verse 18 and we'll get started and Zacharias Said unto the angel, how shall I know this for I am an old man? Elizabeth is his wife, you know And he's an old man and the angel of the Lord comes to him and says look brother. We fixing to change your deal Now he's already about ready to go. He was a priest, you know he was a high priest and he was a priest to the to the nation and he was an older man and Elizabeth was on up in age and Elizabeth had been barren all their Years, and so she'd never had a child for I'm an old man. How much how shall I know this? How am I going to know this? For I'm an old man and my wife is as well advanced in years verse 19 and the angel answered and said to him. I'm Gabriel Now, how am I going to know that? I don't think he asked him who he was

You ever notice that he didn't say who are you he said how am I gonna know that he said well, I'm Gabriel Hey, we've read that all of our lives. We missed that Have you ever knows only three Archangels? Gabriel Michael and Lucifer Lucifer got kicked out with a third of the angels There was just Gabriel and Michael Gabriel was the one that always came and spoke But if you do some translation of that word and I'm not going there But if you dig in the Gabriel see what you find who stands in the presence of God now Don't all angels stand in the presence of God or just the Archangels All The angels sitting there all the time saying holy holy holy, right? But why did he say I'm the one that's who stands in the presence of the Lord? So we see here at some point in time something happened that evidently the angels couldn't stand before the Lord anymore He said but I can and Was sent to speak to you. I was sent to talk to you now why do you have to send an angel to talk to him because all through the Old Covenant the angel came to talk right and Bring you some glad tidings So how am I gonna notice what happened? Well, I'm Gabriel and I stand in the presence of God all the time and I've been sent to speak to you and it and to bring you some good tidings verse 20 and Behold look now you'll be mute not able to speak until the day these things take place because you did not believe my words Which will be fulfilled in your he said You ain't we ever talk, bro Because you didn't believe When I see it, but even whether you can talk or whether you can't it's going to be fulfilled in its own time So we see here that Zacchaeus couldn't talk because he's like a lot of y'all Sometimes this will get you in trouble So he knew Zacchaeus was going to talk when he didn't need to talk. So he said brother I'm gonna fix it where you can't mess this up Right, you gotta understand this was under the law Right, so we see here from reading this that there'd been five barren women in the Bible throughout the Old Testament

Until we get to Elizabeth. She was six Now watch this So we see that Elizabeth makes the sixth one. What does six mean in the Bible man's number, right? Now I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do a what I'm gonna do a virgin birth And watch this. What was the purpose? Why did why did Elizabeth have to be pregnant for Mary to be pregnant? Think about it a minute. You ever thought about that? So we see now we're moving from the law to grace This is in line with creation guys when God was just ready to do something in a new and a fresh way Something happened to happen to your brain for you not to be able to talk Darn it. How many of y'all ever stutter when you're growing up? So one or two of you Something was going on with you that you couldn't talk. I can relate, but now let's go to Mary in Luke chapter 1 verse 38. Then Mary said, Behold the maid servant of the Lord. Let it be to me according to your word. And the angel departed from her. So the angel appeared to her and said, Look, you gonna bring forth a son? And they're gonna call him Jesus and he's gonna change the whole world. And here's a little 15 year old going about her business. Why did they pick Mary? I think there's more than one virgin there. To be short, in the whole nation there was more than one virgin. Wouldn't you think? Why did he pick a 15 year old girl? And so I began to ask that question. I said, Lord, I don't fully understand. He said, Because it was prophetic. And I said, Well, Lord, show me that. So he took me all the way back to Genesis. Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 it says, In the beginning God created. In a beginning God created. Not in the beginning. In a beginning. Because there's more than one beginning. You know that if you read the text. Because that word doesn't mean in the beginning. It meant in a beginning. So there's more than one beginning. So he seated. It goes on. His Bible said, And the darkness covered the face of the earth. Face of the deep it says. And then the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. Now the word hovered in the actual Hebrew is the word Miriam. And the word face of means the womb of. So if we read the translation the Genesis 1 and 3 says really that

God's gonna move upon the womb of a woman named Mary and she's gonna bring forth the Messiah that's gonna change everything and bring light to a dark world. So we see here that Mary all along coming along she had always been prophesied. Isaiah prophesied the Messiah was coming 600 years ago. Genesis 1 and 3 prophesied Mary was gonna come before he did. Had to be. Now think about it just a minute. What was the lineage of John and Jesus? They were cousins right? So was Mary and Joseph the father and mother of Jesus. They were cousins. Messed up crowd isn't it? Read the text. They were cousins. So we see here that Elizabeth husband was a what? A priest. Jesus was gonna become the high priest that was gonna stand as the king and the priest forever for everybody right? So he had to come from a lineage of a priest. So he had to come from that lineage. But if you notice John the Baptist didn't follow his dad's traits. He was sent out into the wilderness. He locusts. Kind of like who? He's the Spirit of Elijah in the Old Testament. The church is still waiting for the Spirit of Elijah to come on the church. He ain't come. It was John the Baptist. And then who took Elijah's place? Elijah. Which is symbolic of Christ coming on the earth. What did Elijah want? Give me a double portion of what Elijah had. He gave him a double portion. What did you and I got? The Bible said in John chapter 3 verse 34 that Jesus had the Spirit without measure. Well what are we seeing here? We're seeing a parallel that John the Baptist had to come because his dad was a priest and John had to come to be the forerunner to put a person into Christ. He was the first one baptized or received the Holy Ghost. Because the Bible said it moved in his mother's stomach when he saw what he'd been looking for. See a lot of times the reason things are not happening in your life is because you're not around the right people. I'm not sent to the world for everybody. I'm just sent for somebody. Now go with me here to this scripture. And Mary said behold the maid servant of the Lord let it be to me according to your word and the angel departed from her. What now here she is talking and John's daddy couldn't talk. One talking one not talking. Now watch this. A lot of times we're missing God because we're looking for the spectacular instead of the supernatural. What are you looking

for? What are you expecting? What are you waiting for? What you ready what's look what you're looking to happen? Let's go to Luke chapter 1 verse 36. This is the Christmas story by the way. Now indeed Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age. Now here's Elizabeth she's been bearing her whole life and all of a sudden she's pregnant. What was the purpose of her being pregnant? Because John was going to be the forerunner what was prophesied to Mary. Why did Mary happen to show up at 15 years old this virgin girl all of out of nowhere and her mother just happened to be named Mary? That's not an accident. Your name is not an accident. You're not an accident that you're here. Listen to me. And this is now the sixth month of her for her who has been barren. So we see she's been six months down the road now she's pregnant six months and for the first time what's about to happen? Mary immediately has gone to see her. Look at verse 40. 49 and 40. And Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste to a city of Judah. 40. And entered the house of Zacharias and he what? She greeted Elizabeth. She is six months old. How long did John the Baptist ministry last? Six months. And then Jesus lasted three and a half years which is what? 48 months. Which is 8 and 4 is 12. Which means divine government. Right? Four means the four winds of the earth. The four waves of the earth. The entire earth. And eight means new beginning. We see that God was about to do a new thing. Now watch this. How long did Jesus's ministry last? Three and a half years. Which is what? 42 months. Four and two is what? Bam! Which was exactly what Mary was in the barren women under the old covenant. We got to understand Jesus's fulfillment of that new beginning. Because now all of a sudden six women have been barren and now all of a sudden the woman's not barren anymore. She has a supernatural encounter with grace. Why? Because she gives birth to grace. It was the end of the old covenant. The beginning of the new covenant. Are you with me? Now stay with me because I'm heading somewhere. So when God's doing something he is doing in different people at the same time. God was just not talking to Mary. He was talking to Joseph. He was talking to Zacharias. He was talking to Elizabeth. He was talking to Simeon. He

was talking to Anna. When something new comes some old things must go guys. You got to get rid of that old stuff. That stuff that's been holding you back. Now think about it. Here's Anna. She's been in the temple praying for 84 years waiting for the Messiah to come. Here's Simeon. He's the priest in the temple waiting for the Messiah to come. Once the Messiah comes he does what? He holds him up and blesses him. How many of you know immediately when Simeon leaves the new priesthood shows up. The end of the old, the beginning of the new. The Bible said at that point in time that the priesthood went away and they had a new priesthood which was Christ. Why did Jesus have to walk around be just normal like everybody else until he was 30? Because the priesthood couldn't get in control and get his name and get his title and become a priest until he was 30 years old. That's why Jesus's ministry. He didn't do anything supernatural until he was 30 years old. He never done anything supernatural until he was baptized at the Jordan. Who baptized him? John. John said I'm gonna baptize you because I'm gonna put on you what I'm and I'm gonna leave and John was beheaded. What? End authority on the earth and the new beginning of a grace message with Jesus. Are you here? And so as we see a parallel of Jesus all through this. This is not a little Christmas story about the three little pigs and and the wolf coming to the house to blow the house down. This is a deep spiritual revelation that God's trying to pour into the body of Christ for us to know that we was not accident we were purposely sent here for such a time as this. You're not an accident guys. Turn to somebody and say I'm not an accident. Turn to somebody. Let's go to Luke chapter 2 verse 6 and 7. And so it was that while they were there the days were completed for her to be delivered. Look at verse 7. And she brought forth her firstborn son, wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a what? Because there was no room for them in the. Now we see this as a poverty mentality but that's not what he's saying. The place was packed. Everybody was going to pay their taxes. Why did they show up there to pay their taxes right? Remember that's almost tax time. You need to pay your taxes. Don't pay anything you don't have to pay but pay what you're supposed

to pay. Right? So we see here that what's this and she shall brought forth her firstborn son, wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a what? Now remember this. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and they wrapped him in swaddling clothes again when he died to put him in the tomb. It's a parallel. White means what? Purity. Everything was pure about him. So here we see she's wrapping this baby in swaddling clothes and laying him in a manger because there was no room for them. You got to read this text guys. There was no room for them. It said there wasn't no room for anybody. Josephus says there was plenty of room in the end. There was just no room for them in the end because their purpose was not to happen in the end. It was to happen in a stable. Now think about it a minute. He buried the stable. He buried the tomb. Now the word tomb that he was placed in is the same identical word. Glory be to God. It's the same identical word as womb under the Hebrew. So in other words what was conceived in Mary's womb was given birth again in the tomb because when he come out of the tomb he was a new creation and old things have passed away. The law had ended and the grace had begun. He was born into the law because of Mary. He was born into the new creation because of the tomb. What it was behind the law, the stone, was the birth of the new resurrection and the new creation. how God was creating a new generation of people. Listen, this is a big story. But we haven't heard it quite like this. We've heard it a little different way. Because God is doing something new. Turn to somebody and say, He's doing something new. It ain't new to God, but it's new to us. Now I want you to understand something. How many of you in here are pregnant with something? Because every word, every revelation is pregnant with revelation. Every word from the Lord is pregnant with revelation. The more you hear a word, the more pregnant you get.

So your baby can only come forth there among those who have been impregnated with the same prophetic spirit. That's why you can't listen to everybody. You can't listen to everybody. You try to fit in in places you don't fit in. Why, because it ain't what makes your baby jump. Turn to somebody and say, make my baby jump. If you're around somebody that ain't making your baby jump, get away from them. Because your baby has been appointed an assignment and a personal destiny, like Mary's, can only be birthed there in that predetermined geographic and spiritually for your prophetic destiny, vision, and purpose. Some of you got stretch marks. There's some things inside of you kicking to be born, guys. Remember what happened? We see that Mary shows up at Elizabeth's house. Josephus, in his teaching, he was a Jewish historian. The baby had not moved inside of Mary's womb for six months. It didn't have a reason to move. The church won't move until they hear what they've been sent to hear. So once she said, I'm pregnant with the Messiah, the Bible said John jumped on the inside of her and filled with the Holy Spirit. So you need to get around people that's pregnant with what you need. Because if Elizabeth, if Mary hadn't went to somebody else's house, it wouldn't have made their baby jump. Because John had been stillborn for the longest time until he heard what he needed to hear, what he'd been sent to hear. And once he heard what he, the Bible said the baby jumped inside of him and the baby was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Now watch this. I want you to see this. Now don't be surprised if when you get real deep with God and begin to do some things that's a little bit fanatical, people be ashamed of you in your present condition. They'll want to abort your baby. So they wanted to abort her baby. People didn't want to hang around with Mary when she was 15 and pregnant. The Lord overshadowed you? The Holy Spirit overshadowed you? Oh man, who you slept with? What's Junior's name? Seriously, be real a minute. Can you imagine coming home and telling your daddy, hey look, the Holy Spirit overshadowed me and I got pregnant with the Holy Ghost? I bet he did. What's his name? Right? Think about it a minute. So she walked around in front of all those people pregnant, belly getting bigger every day, embarrassed, ashamed. She was carrying the most important thing that was going to change the whole world and they didn't see that. Maybe you're around some people that's carrying some revelation that maybe you just need because of the way they act and the way they look, it might not be who you want to talk to. See, I believe God's got a lot of people in the back in the box in the dark. He's fixing to bring them out into the light with a revelation of grace and mercy and peace

and anointing that people ain't never heard about. But they're going to rise on the scene and they're going to have a word for such a time as this. Now it ain't about what they are, it's about what's in them. And so we see this about to happen. Favor's knocking on your door, man. Don't miss the moment. This is your moment. Listen to me. If you're in here this morning and you're sad, jump up and start running. Sadness will go away. Man, we're churchy, ain't we? What's people going to think? Who cares? Really, who cares? Do you really care? You remember when you used to go to the dance halls when you were about two sheets under the wind and you had to get a little intoxicated so you could dance? Because you didn't have the nerve when you were sober. Come on now, shout with me. See, I'm not talking to the Methodist girl. Because y'all were struggling a while ago when they were playing a little horn. Ain't that getting a little bit... Something's trying to move inside you. But I don't want to step over the line there in that religious thing. They can't see it, can they? It's jumping.

Seriously. How many of you really wanted to just... See, why didn't you? Ain't nobody going to stop you around here running down the street. Come back. Just don't take your clothes off like David did now. That's going a little bit too far. But think about it a minute. Why have we put that shield up? Why does those things... I don't think when David come dancing into the city carrying the Ark of the Covenant, I don't think he was doing what looked nice. Because his wife up on the balcony looked down and said, you're embarrassing me. Because you knew who her daddy was, right? Saul, the first king. And he didn't dance because he didn't know. that need the presence of the Lord, remember? And so the presence of the Lord today will scare the church. If we'd have some Holy Ghost fits around here, people would be like, I don't know about them. I've been talked about before. It ain't like it's new ground for me. What am I trying to say? Here's what I'm trying to say. Sometimes when God is doing something in your life, let him do it. Here's Mary walking around. I ain't want to get off this platform in a while, but I do today. Mary was walking around with this big old stomach.

I guarantee you her mom and daddy was ashamed. Joseph didn't want to be around her because he was ashamed to be seen with her like that. He was going to think everybody thought he was a pervert who he had sex with and then couldn't run. Think about it. Think a little bit. This thing wasn't just a pleasant thing for Mary that nine months she's carrying that baby. See, revelation is going to cost you something. It's going to cost you some of your friends and some of your dignity and some of your integrity and some of your character. Sometimes it's going to cost you around some folks. And so sometimes people are going to see your stretch marks and say, how in the world did you get those? Because I'm pregnant with something. I'm walking around with something. I got something burning in me. When I'm laying down at night, it just won't go away. When I'm walking around and trying to sleep, it just won't go away. When I get around folks, some people don't move it and then some people ignite it. That's why all the same kind of birds always flock together. Go with me to Luke chapter 1 verse 47. Now stay with me. Turn to someone and say this is a dream seed. And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. 48. For he has regarded the lowly state of his maidservant. We're not servants anymore guys. We're sons. Turn to someone and say I'm son. I'm a son. I'm not a maidservant. For look, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

Remember the prostitute that came in and poured her perfume all over Jesus? And he said from this day forward that will be memorial to the whole world? How many times you heard that sermon preaching? That happened thousands of years ago. She said the whole, all generations gonna call me blessed. All generations gonna call me blessed. Look how the Catholic Church really praises Mary now. Why? Because they go back to Genesis 1 and 3 and they understand Hebrew. And they understand prophetically how important Mary was. That's not the one we talk to. That's not the one we confess our sins to. It's Jesus Christ that come and took our sins and removed our sins and made us whole. It was that new birth that gave birth out of this little 15 year old girl that everybody talked about for nine months. She was carrying the revelation. What are you carrying? You're doing the same thing. You're carrying the Messiah around. When you gonna give birth to him? Look at 49. She said all generations will call me blessed. And he who is mighty has done great things for me and holy is his name. Verse 50. And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. 51. He has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered the proud imagination of their heart. Why do you think there had to be a virgin birth? Because if it came through a man, it would have been contaminated.

God had no other way. God conceived in Mary. The bloodline didn't flow. Jesus restored the bloodline with the death and the resurrection. He was born in purity. He died in sin. He resurrected in life. Guys, are you here? So we see verse 52. He has put down the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly. In other words, he said I'm gonna do away with the law. I'm gonna do away with the kings and the priests under the new old covenant. And I'm gonna restore and make everybody kings and priests. I'm gonna exalt the lowly and lift them up. Look at 53. He has filled the hungry with good things and the rich he has sent away empty, 54. He has helped his servant Israel in remembrance of his mercy, 55. As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever. How many of you know today that God wants you to be blessed? He wants you to prosper. He wants you to have health. He wants you to have wealth. He wants you to have goodness and mercy following you all the days of your life. He don't want you discouraged. He don't want you frustrated. Let me tell you something. You don't have permission to be poor. I heard a guy say this morning, you don't have permission to be sick. Grab a hold of this. Don't be condemned if you're dealing with something in your body.

By his grace. stripes we were healed I sent my word and he didn't say I sent my word to heal them he said I sent my word and healed them guys he wants you to walk in that he wants you to walk in that favor he wants you to walk in that blessing he wants you to walk in that prosperity but we've got to grab a hold of this all generations is gonna call Mary blessed that's where the that's where the Catholic Church get their thing from is that they think Mary's great because everybody's gonna call her blessed we've missed the real blessing Mary was only the instrument that produced the blessing she was only body that carried the blessing you and I are still carrying the best we're not the blessing it's to us in us that's the blessing greater is he that's in us than he does in the world no weapon formed against us can prosper everything that rise up we tear it down how with our mouth so we see here that for nine months Zacharias couldn't talk I bet that'll get you attention how do you do his priestly duties Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 Isaiah prophesied he's coming for unto us a child is born unto us the Son is given and the government will be upon his shoulders in his name will be called wonderful counselor mighty God everlasting Father Prince of Peace now look at his for unto us a child is given unto us a child is born he didn't say he's going to be born guys we got it we got to read the Bible he was already born because he was created he was self-creating he only had to come to earth to be born through the womb of a 15 year old girl because that's how Adam lost it do you understand what happened with Adam Adam didn't know he had a body until the mistake in the garden he couldn't even recognize his body because he was transparent and once he realized he was naked is after he rubbed the consciousness of his sin God still had no recollection of his of his sin it was only when Adam acknowledged his sin that God recognized he had one God couldn't do anything about what you recognize God can't do anything about what you believe God can't do anything about what you receive you got to be willing to change guys there's a shifting in there we've got to understand today what the plan is and God in our lives do we believe

that the revelations there do we believe everything Jesus said about us that we're the new creation we're the dream seed he was promised with the seed of Abraham with a purpose for existence we're the reason we're the purpose for existence think about it a minute Jesus hung around John until he could see John born what she's gonna make I'm gonna make a strong statement you can't walk in your destiny until some people are born in theirs thank you for joining us today at power in the world all of us here at harvest fellowship church want you to know that God is not mad with you but he loves you so very much and he has a plan for your life please feel free to contact us here at harvest fellowship church at our website harvest fellowship church net so until next week please remember there's power in the word
