Prophecies For Your 2026

Y'all I started doing something yesterday actually this week anybody else have the whoop band Anybody's have the whoop Three it's not a ad. Don't worry. I'm not getting paid But I I got the whoop band and I was so interested because I used to have it before But yesterday my little brother was running 50 miles anybody anybody here in town from the BPN anybody here. Okay. What's up? I can barely see you. Hello. I don't know you but I love you already Bear for bear performance nutrition Nick and Steph bear friends of ours friends of this house. They hosted a run yesterday The longest run of your life on the shortest day of the year. And so my little brother he said well I'm preparing for an ultra marathon. I'm gonna run 50 miles and I said I ain't gonna run 50 But whenever you're almost done, I'll come out and support you And so my son Isaiah had a basketball game yesterday And by the time he finished then I got over there praise God. My brother was on mile 40 Thank God because then I didn't have to run more than about 10 So I had the whoop band and I was measuring it and like how much strain I was doing And so what I thought I would do while I was preaching is see like how much strain Public speaking has on the body versus like a half marathon and can I tell you it's about the same Sunday is about a half marathon. It's pretty wild So I just realized I didn't start it. I'm like better start it You don't even care about that and I don't have that much time because we worshiped a bit longer, but I care about that So I just want to say Shout out to my brother running 50 miles, huh? incredible I Like that, you know here we are at the end of a year. It's kind of like the end of a race And let me tell you you don't have to finish strong in order to finish well just Finish It's not about finishing strong it but it is about finishing well I mean obviously we all want to finish strong But if you've been injured this year if you've been hurt this year if you're falling behind this year if you feel like you're crawling

To get to the finish line this year. Can I encourage you crawl but don't quit? Because you don't have to finish strong to finish. Well, you just got to finish There's been moments in my life where I wanted to throw in the towel. I wanted to quit. I wanted to give up I wanted to turn my back on God and what he called me to do, but I just stayed with it I didn't do it perfect But I stayed with it and I remember one time the staff team was praying over me and they said the Lord says to you Good job, and I was thinking to myself Lord There ain't no way I've done a good job Because I can tell you all kinds of things this year that I've done wrong and you know what he said to me Yeah, but you didn't quit So I just want you to know if you ain't feeling strong today you can still finish Well, you don't have to finish strong to finish Well, if you got a crawl over the finish line crawl over it because we're gonna finish with our hands lifted in victory over 2025 amen well, the word that I have for you today actually is Kind of about 2026. I've just entitled this entire sermon prophecies for your 2026 Three people are excited about prophetic words over the new year. I mean, I appreciate that But I I want God to speak out over my new season, how about you? So I'm just titling this prophecies for your 2026 And this is something that I do Every year for the last three years at least is that we've actually gone to an ancient book of study called the book of common prayer the historical Orthodox Episcopalian Anglican churches they have used this as a resource and they have this thing called the Sunday lectionary where the same passage of scripture is selected for all of the Christians around the world that Celebrate the same way that they do and they all read the same story on the same day And I just think that's so cool because as a charismatic Pentecostal I'm not that traditional But there is something about Christmas time where you just get nostalgic about the nativity and you want to be a little bit traditional You know what I'm saying? So I'm just borrowing from that tradition and over the last three years. I've Preached those same passages. Well, they do it on a three-year cycle

So there's your a your B your C and I've done all those for all the gospel readings So now I'm back to your a and I thought am I really gonna repreach what I preached? Three years ago from a new angle and I was like, I don't want to do that Sounds boring. I mean the Word of God is not boring but studying the same thing over and over again anybody else in here ADHD Okay Don't pray for my healing. It's my superpower But I'm like, you know, what am I gonna study this year? And one of the things I didn't realize is that not only do they include a gospel reading but they include an Old Testament reading I started reading to those Old Testament readings and I was like, hmm This is really insightful because the thing that I've been praying over you and your family during this Christmas Season is that God would rekindle a sense of wonder in your heart Wonder like you remember whenever you were a kid nearing Christmas Day. You were filled with so much excitement and expectation Does that just mean I was always wondering what is mom and dad gonna get me for Christmas Is this gonna be the year that we're gonna get a go-kart? Yes Finally one year they got us a go-kart. It's a very expensive Christmas purchase and we broke it in 24 hours And It was me But I lied and I blamed it on my brother He got a spanking for it and I'll never forget You gathering all of us in the living room and saying you boys could tear up a Sherman tank You Destroy an anvil if I brought an anvil in here, you'd destroy it We're just destructive kids. I mean just took a $1,500 go-kart and reduced it to just a piece of scrap metal in 24 hours just problematic But every year we wondered what will mom and dad get us, you know, what will happen this year? It's almost as if you're approaching Christmas morning with this growing sense of anticipation in your heart Did anybody else have that experience as a child? Come on, that's how you experience Christmas, right? You're like what if I get this?

What if my presents are that what if and if you didn't have that as a kid? I'm sure your kids have that because you're a great parent because you come to church And they have this wonder that's wonder right? That's wonder That's what it what that is But I think in 2026 one of the reasons why we as adult Christians don't have so much wonder is because every time It is this time of year and it's time to celebrate the holiday season or Christmas time or Advent We're not looking forward at all We're looking backward And that's kind of the nature of the the Christmas Advent season, right? Like we bust out the Bible and then we read a story from 2,000 years ago That's Advent, right? It's like, okay now it's time to read what happened once upon a time in the birth of Jesus And and these holidays they're so beautiful and they're so traditional and Christmas is not unlike Easter where we do the same thing where we open up the Bible and we read the story of what happened once upon a time we read the story about the cross and the death and the resurrection and the ascension and the life of Christ Jesus and it's amazing that we get to recollect and remember but oftentimes we're looking back and never looking forward and That's actually the reason why a lot of you guys and listen I'm like you if I'm talking about you right now Don't really like the holiday season when it comes time to go to church because it feels overly nostalgic And you're like dude, I'm a pioneer. I'm a builder. I'm getting after it I ain't got no time to sit around and make Santy Claus some milk and cookies I'm trying to plan out my 2026 man These are my quarterly goes and this is where I'm going on retreat and these are the businesses I'm gonna start and the Positions that I'm gonna hire and we're gonna move into the future and here's my 20 resolutions And so you don't like the holidays because the holidays just slow you down now. I'm gonna make a confession That was that's exactly how I have felt for years as a pastor. I'm like dang it. It's Christmas Listen I'm sorry to admit that but I'm just not a very nostalgic person Like I don't I like my wife could tell you I forget about stuff all the time that's good She's like don't you remember that thing happened? I'm like, nope The beauty of it is I also forget about things that are bad

Which is great cuz like people speak poorly about me or they'll say something to me that's hurtful and I'll just forget She like don't you remember that drama that happened two years ago? Nope totally forgot It's Because I'm a like a forward-facing individual now I have to admit that I've learned now that you know with age. Hopefully comes maturity. Amen And with maturity you develop a greater value for testimony Right, so you look back and you recollect and you think about things that God has done in your life and it produces praise And I would encourage you it's Christmas time slow down You know take a beat bake some bread, all right Get us get a sourdough recipe off of Pinterest and take an afternoon off sir. Okay, the office is good Spend some time with your kids go skiing. I don't know At least be in a little bit of shape to ski. I don't want to do a funeral All right. This is somebody people die all the time skiing I don't know if you guys have noticed that like just maybe don't ski Ski, forget I said that. Maybe it's not a great idea, just don't do that. Just watch some skiing on TV. Just imagine that you yourself at some point will ski. When you get to heaven, perhaps, that will be a recreational activity that you enjoy with the angels or something, I don't know. But I wanna encourage you, chill out a little bit. But also, don't forget about the reality that we're not just looking back at Christmas time, we very much are looking forward. We are very much looking forward. And here's how I know that. Because Advent is not just supposed to be nostalgic about the nativity. Advent is supposed to rekindle and cause you to remember

that in the same way that Jesus advented before, he will advent again. Jesus has come before. He came as a baby 2,000 years ago, born in a manger, placed in swaddling clothes. The wise men came and visited. Y'all remember the story, right? We'll probably read that next week or something. But this week, what I wanna do is I wanna do what the early Christians did. The early Christians, they would actually remind themselves of Jesus's second advent. So they wouldn't just treat Christmas time as a time to get together and enjoy some baked goods. They would actually fast. They'd actually fast. Because they saw Christmas time as a time of penitence. They would say, Holy Spirit, investigate my heart because in any way that I've lost my wonder, in any way that I've lost my childlike expectation that you're coming back for me. Rekindle that in my spirit, God, because I don't want the holidays to just be about remembering what happened 2,000 years ago. I'm celebrating that. I'm grateful for that. We're all so thankful. And we get the opportunity to rekindle that memory. And it's beautiful, but we cannot forget about the reality that the Messiah will once again return.

And that's what advent is all about. It's about the arrival, not just that he came before, but that he is also coming again. And the thing that has really stirred me about these Old Testament passages is that if you were reading these Old Testament passages around a feast, for instance, not Christmas, but a feast time, and you were hearing a passage like the one that we're about to read today, Isaiah 35, then you would be looking ahead. There would be no Christmas story for you to recollect on. You would be looking ahead and you'd have wonder. You'd be looking ahead and it would stoke your faith and you would be wondering what is the world gonna be like when the Messiah shows up? What is life gonna be like whenever the Messiah arrives? When the advent actually happens, things are gonna change around here, right? And so they're looking forward. And that's what I wanted to do during Christmastime is I want us to look forward, not because I'm trying to get us to forget the past, not because I want us to overlook the tradition, but because I want to see the Spirit stoke in you a healthy expectation that in the same way that he has shown up in the past, he will show up again. So if you're in here today and you're like, dude, I hate the holidays and I'm not looking forward to the new year, everybody's making resolutions,

nothing that I ever plan ever comes to pass. This is just a sad pattern in my life and I've learned to live with it. If that's you, I have some prophecies for you. I don't have very much time, so we gotta go quick. Isaiah chapter 35. In the last service, Angel reminded me that we didn't stand up, so everybody's gotta stand up because I told Angel we would stand up. She was like, you were in a hurry last and we didn't stand up. I'm like, all right, we're gonna stand up. All right, Isaiah 35, we're reading the whole chapter. It's only 10 verses. Are you ready? The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad. Remember, you're reading over year 2026. The Bible wasn't written to you, but it was written for you. It's absolutely possible for us to apply the promises of God in Scripture to his people, to us, as we step into a new season. If you believe that, just say amen. The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad. The desert shall rejoice. And? Blossom. Like the? Roses. I was just gonna see if you guys knew

how to pronounce that. Blossom. Roses. It shall blossom. And rejoice. And rejoice with joy and? The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it. The majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall? And? Come on. Verse three, so here's how you're gonna prepare to receive these prophecies. Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble knees. Say to your anxiety, be strong, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance. With the recompense of God, he will come and save you. Come on. All right, here's your prophecies, verse 5. And it shall be called what? What? And the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way. Even if they're fools, they shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come upon it. They shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing. Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads, and they shall obtain gladness. And sorrow and sighing shall flee away. This is the word of the Lord.

In Jesus' name, amen, amen, amen. Before you're seated, hit somebody with a high-five. Say, your 2026 looks good. 2026 looks good. Listen, I don't have a lot of time, so I'm going to give you three prophecies for your 2026 from Isaiah 35. Is that okay? Three of them. Father, Son, Holy Ghost, all right? Here we go. These are three prophecies from Isaiah 35 over this house. Number one is this. We're going from wilderness to fruitfulness. And I want you to write this down and proclaim this over your family. We are going from wilderness to fruitfulness. Come on, say it with me. We're going from wilderness to what? Fruitfulness. This is verse 1 and 2 where Isaiah 35 says, The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad. What in the world does it mean for the wilderness to be glad? That means transformation is coming to the desolate areas of your life. That's what it means. If you have an area of your life that you have been pressing in for and you go to it often and find it barren, can I prophesy over you in this next year that what has been barren will become bountiful? In Jesus' name. And if you receive that, just say amen. He goes on to say the desert shall rejoice. Now, if you read throughout the scripture, you'll know that both the wilderness and the desert is the place of testing. That's what a desert and a wilderness is in the Bible.

So whenever Isaiah prophesies and says this is about to happen, the desert is going to rejoice. That means that the test is coming to an end. I don't know who I'm talking to in here because I don't know who 2025 for you, you felt like, man, this whole year has been a wilderness. It's like the entire time I've been walking through the desert without a glass of water. I have been tested. I have been tried. Can I prophesy over you today that the test is coming to an end and it's time to rejoice? If you receive it, just say amen. And then obviously I had you guys pronounce that name of that flower, crocus. I don't really know a lot about that flower, but I do know this, that it is often in the Middle East a flower that can survive the desert climate. And even if it snows on the mountains, the crocus will pop through even the snow. And no matter how hard the wind blows, it will not take the flower out. And God said, you're going to blossom like that. And if you do any research on that flower, it's actually where we get saffron from, which is one of the most expensive spices in the world. So if you've been tested and tried in this last year, take heart because what God is producing in you is very valuable. Ecclesiastes 3 and 11 said, He has made everything beautiful in its time. Keep pressing in, keep praying, and keep praising because it's time for new life, new growth, and new blessing in Jesus' name. And if you receive that, just say amen. And then the Bible goes on to say, And they shall see glory. As we are declaring that we are going from wilderness to fruitfulness, we are declaring that it is a season of dynamic encounter. If you've been praying if you've been fasting if you've been petitioning heaven and you have been asking for more of the Holy Spirit Can I prophesy over you today that your 2026 is going to be filled with? Supernatural encounters with God in Jesus name and if you receive that just say amen

Hey, I got two and nine said the latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former So the first prophecy over this new year is we're going from wilderness to fruitfulness the second prophecy for your 2026 is this Supernatural miracles are on their way Supernatural miracles are on their way if you receive that just say amen in verse 5 and 6 It says the eyes of the blind shall be open and the ears of the deaf Unstopped and the lame man shall leap like a deer and the tongue of the mute Sing for joy now, obviously whenever you read through that passage, you're like, oh, okay you're talking about physical miracles and I am because the Bible is speaking of literal Miraculous healings happening in our physical bodies and just as we prayed over a number of people today for impossible Situations in their bodies to be made right and whole in Jesus name I believe that in 2026 our church is going to enter into a season of Unprecedented miracles and healings if you agree with that just say amen But not only is it physical but it's also spiritual if you are somebody that has been dealing with a sense of Spiritual blindness in that you suffer for understanding and enlightenment This season will also be a time of great revelation where we're where you will grow in your relationship with truth if you receive that just say amen the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped and The lame will leap like a deer and the mute will sing for joy I just want to mention one other thing before I get to the third prophecy Which is that the mute will sing for joy and this is about the loosing of the tongue I know there are plenty of people in here who are anointed to preach to pray to prophesy and to speak in public to others about what the Holy Spirit has to say over them and I just want to tell you That this is a season where the mute shall sing in Jesus name if you've been wrestling with your call And I don't necessarily mean vocational ministry but it could include that if you've been wrestling with your call and you feel like the enemy has just had a pair of clamps on Your tongue and you've not been able to do what you sense God has called you to do by preaching the Word of God in one way shape and form I want to speak over you this year that the mute shall sing and if you receive that just say amen All right. Here's the third prophecy over our 2026. It is this Holiness shall be our way of life

Holiness is the highway. Why do we use a highway? We use a highway to go in the direction of our destination Another way of saying that would be to go in the direction of our destiny If you want traction if you want movement if you want momentum if you want forward motion in your life into the things that God is Calling you to go into it requires holiness It Requires holiness you you can't just live. However, you want to live and expect God to bless a mess. I'm not gonna be obedient I'm not gonna listen. I'm not gonna do what you're calling me to do. I'm gonna overlook every time you give me a Command and I'm gonna call it an invitation one in which I've chosen to decline. Thank you very much God Like you can't live like that. This is a time to live like you've been set apart because you have It's a time to get consecrated It's a time to get dedicated to the sanctification of the Holy Spirit in your life And this doesn't show up just in big moments church. It happens in micro moments Where you're given the opportunity to lean in or to lean out That's how we grow the path of holiness This is the way in which we will walk this year. And if you will agree with that just say amen It's time to clean up what's impure in our lives Tolerating impurity impedes our ability to move forward in presence and in purpose Pastor friend of mine told me one time he said, you know, I Think just about every church in America wants the presence of God. I said you think so? He said yeah, I really believe that I think just about every church in America wants the presence of God I said well, why don't you think more churches experience and outpouring of God's power? He said it's not because they don't want it. It's because they will not confront the things that hold it back I know we want to be blessed. I know you want to be blessed. I know we all want to step into a new season like new year, new me. It's going to be the best year of my life. And I want it to be the best year of your life. But in order for it to be, you're going to have to get serious about sanctification. You cannot continue just to come to church and engage moralism. Like I'm coming here just to be a good person. I want to make sure my kids get into Sunday school. Like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Go deeper in your walk than just a surface level layer of like

lip service to God while you withhold your actual desires from him. Church that's called idolatry. It's just a form of modern idolatry. You worship what you want the most. And anytime you want anything, you want anything more than you want him. You are suffering with a symptom of idolatry. And now it's time to mark out the path of holiness and say, this is the direction we're going. As for me and my house, we serve in the Lord. I don't know who I'm talking to right now, and I don't know what you need to clean up, but some of you guys need to go home and just throw some stuff away. I don't know what that is. I don't know what that is for you. And maybe you need to delete some files off the laptop. Maybe you need to, you know, get some accountability with how you use your phone. Maybe you need to delete that gambling app. Listen, I'm not trying to meddle. I'm just saying, maybe you need to cancel a couple of those subscriptions that you know don't need to have anyway. Maybe, maybe you need to stop smoking that fake weed. Oh, I ain't getting no amen on that. Okay. All right. Okay. Because they're selling it. They're selling it. They're selling it in Tennessee. And some of y'all justifying it. It's legal. I don't mean it's holy. Listen, your walk with the Lord is not a conversation with Him where you're trying to figure out what you can get away with. That's not, that's, that's not like, that's not Christianity, where you bring God's word to Him in prayer and be like, well, you didn't say nothing about that right here. It's not about what you can get away with. It's about who you're in relationship with. And if that's you and you're like, hey, pastor, man, that's messed up. You shouldn't have said that. That's the thing that gets me through. Okay. Well, next time you go to buy it, pray in the parking lot before him. And you listen for yourself. Amen.
