Lives Changed by Jesus | Philippians: The A-Life Mentality (Part 1)
The Apostle Paul wanted to take the gospel to the whole world and see lives changed by the Good News. As he traveled, he spent time planting churches and then wrote to them in his absence. The Book of Philippians is a letter to one of his favorite churches, the church at Philippi.
The church at Philippi became the foundation of the European church. It was started by an Asian woman named Lydia who lived in Greece. It was a movement like no other.
3 Types of People in the Philippian Church:
1.) The seeker.
2.) The slave.
3.) The soldier.
“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” –C.S. Lewis
If you are seeking truth, Jesus is truth. If you are seeking life, satisfaction, security, fulfillment, meaning in your suffering, hope, grace, love, forgiveness, and purpose, Jesus is the one to give all these things.
