The kind of place where you just lost hope a long time ago, that you could ever really have anything good there. John started his gospel with these words, The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Whatever you're sitting here trying to handle, trying to wrestle with, trying to deal with God's persistent darkness in your life, I promise you, one move in the dark and the light overcomes it. Will you take a step toward Jesus when you're so completely in the dark?
