Coming to Life: Joshua

The book of Joshua recounts the transition of leadership from Moses to Joshua and the Israelites’ entry into the Promised Land, fulfilling a promise made over 500 years earlier. This book describes a period marked by both significant conflict and profound divine mercy. Ultimately, after years of conquest, Joshua divides the land among the tribes and calls for a renewed covenant with God. His farewell plea is a reminder of the importance of faithfulness and adherence to God’s commands, setting the stage for the future narrative of Israel’s history.
