But I'm here to tell you today that there is a well that never runs dry. There is a well that goes deep. There is a well that will be like a spring of living water in your belly. If you would just receive the living water. He's inviting you today to stop returning to old wells that run dry and go to this well that will satisfy. My name is Jasmine. I'm so honored to be here today. Like Pastor Emma said, you would often see me leading worship. But today I'm on a new assignment that I don't take lightly. So are you ready? As always, I want to honor our pastors, Pastor Terrence is in kids right now. Pastor Emma, thank you for entrusting me with God's house. Thank you for all that you've deposited. I declare and believe that the harvest will be plentiful. Thank you. Hi, everybody. For those of you who don't know me well, I am Jazz and I'm the youngest of five kids. I am the baby. My brother, he's the oldest. A picture is going to come up on the screen and you'll see. I like to this is my immediate family, guys. This is actually I have a sister and her family missing. But my brother is the oldest son. And then there's three girls and then there's me. And my parents have been married for 45 years, y'all. In December, they will reach 46 years. My parents are in the room today. And similar to Pastor Terrence and Pastor Emma,

my mom came to Christ through my dad. When she gave her life to Christ, it became like a domino effect in our family, all because of one simple invite from my father. You never know the power of an invite and what God can do when you invite someone, because it's not just that person you're inviting. What you're doing is inviting them into a world full of Jesus so that their family and their friends can receive Jesus. And as you leave today, I want to encourage you to take one of these invite cards, invite someone to Father's Day next week, invite someone because you don't know what God is going to do in their life. So back to my parents, there was a domino effect all because my dad knew the Lord and invited my mom, her brothers and her family. And and we still see it today, all the effects of one invite. But somewhere along the way, my dad decided to step away from God. And I want to share a little bit more about this story, because I believe that it's really shaped me to be who I am today. But before I do that, I want us to take a deeper look, I want us to dig deep into the story of the Samaritan woman. You guys ready? Let's open up our Bibles to John chapter 4, verse 1 through 26. It's a lot of verses, but we're going to get through it. When you have it, you can say, Amen. OK, I'll give you guys some more time. Amen. Now, Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that he was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John,

although, in fact, it was not Jesus who baptized them, but his disciples. So Jesus left Judea and went back once more to Galilee. Now he had to go through Samaria, so he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar and near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son, Joseph. Jacob's well was there. And Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well and it was about noon. When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, will you give me a drink? The Samaritan woman said to him, you're a Jew. I'm a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink? For Jews don't associate with Samaritans. Jesus answered her, if you knew the gift of God and who it is that asked you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water. Sir, the woman said. You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father, Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock? And Jesus answered, everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. The woman said to him, sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.

He told her, go call your husband and then come back. I have no husband, she replied. And Jesus said to her, you are right. When you say you have no husband, the fact is you have had about five husbands and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true. Sir, the woman said, I can see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem. Woman, Jesus replied, believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the father in the spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the father seek. God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in the spirit and in truth. And the woman said, I know that Messiah called Christ is coming. And when he comes, he'll just explain everything to us. And Jesus declared, I, the one speaking to you, I am he. Father, I thank you for this word. I thank you for what you've done all day, all morning, God, but I declare that this word fall on fresh ears, that as they listen, their faith arises, God.

I declare, Lord God, that today it would be different. Lord, that something shifts. Father, I thank you for your word in your holy son's name we pray, amen. Have you, amen, you can give it to God. Thank you. Have you ever pictured yourself in a biblical story? Maybe it'd be funny if you pictured yourself with all the lines. Have you ever pictured yourself in the story? I wanna set the scene for this by giving you a little bit more context of this moment. So I want you to visualize yourself in this story, what this moment looks like. I want you to think about the town, the well that they were sitting by, that Jesus was sitting by. I want you to actually think about what Jesus was looking like. I want you to think about this woman. I love John 4 because it's a detailed chapter on seeing Jesus. And every part of this story, it reveals something about who he is and what he came to do. And as I prayed in preparation for this word, I had this overwhelming desire to just show you Jesus, to show you and introduce you to Jesus. Because the more we seek him, the more we find him. The clearer we see Jesus, the more faithfully we follow him. So are you ready?

We see in this verse that Jesus has to go back to Galilee. And in order to get there, he goes through Samaria. And on the map, I just want you to see what that looks like. You see, Judea is down here. He has to go back up to Galilee, but he goes through Samaria. But at this time, there's conflict between the Jews and the Samaritans. So what happens is as Jews would often travel, they would actually have to go around Samaria to avoid the conflict. So that means they would have to actually go, their journey would be like three days longer because what they're doing is going around through the Jordan River to get to Galilee. But verse four says, now he had to go through Samaria. Someone say had. Come on, someone say had. The Greek word here is translated for had is actually the he, and it means that there was a divine constraint. There was a divine purpose. In other words, Jesus's journey was so divine, he had to go because there was purpose and a plan for him. Scripture says he arrives to Jacob's well, and he's weary, he's tired from the journey. So he takes a seat by the well, and on in comes the Samaritan woman. You see, in Samaria and this specific town,

the woman would gather together, and they would go together to the well. and it would be really early in the morning. They would come with their jars, they would go and they would get and draw water from this well together. But on in comes this Samaritan woman at the same time that Jesus is there. The Bible says it was around noon. So I can imagine the heat of the day, the sun, I can imagine scorching. You see, God is the author and the creator of time. So we know it's not a coincidence that they're there at the same time. Because she came in a little bit late, I'm assuming that she was just trying to just avoid the crowd. Someone rejected by people was actually scheduled for an encounter with grace. And looking at verse seven, Jesus said to her, will you give me a drink? The first point today that will help us see Jesus clearly so we can follow him fully is that Jesus will ask more of you because he desires more for you. He will require things past what you think is a tradition. He will require things past your routine, past what culture says, past your own belief. She says, I'm a Samaritan woman. She was coming to Jesus saying, this is who I am.

How dare you ask me? Why would you ask me? The thing is that Jesus is unafraid to confront your identity. He is unafraid to confront your identity, who you are today, who you think you are. Maybe you're like, I'm a sinner. I've gone so far. Maybe I've just messed up too much. I've made too much mistakes. I'm different from the people here in this church. I've just gone too far. But Jesus isn't afraid of your story. He's willing to confront your identity. He's willing to ask more of you because he has more for you. And so it got me thinking, because Jesus always puts us in some uncomfortable situations. It got me thinking, why would you do that? She's a Samaritan, why would you ask her? I can just imagine the, she must have felt discomfort or like, what do I do? Like, and I can't, Jesus puts us in those situations and I felt the Holy Spirit say, he's willing to confront the very thing you think separates you from his love. That's good. He's willing to confront the very thing you think separates you from his love.

You see, my father, he left the church for 20 plus years. And I spoke with him a few weeks ago and we talked for the first time a little bit more detail about his story, things that I never saw, things I never knew. And as a child, what I would see was that my father would drink constantly. He would constantly choose alcohol. He would drink his sorrows away. I would see him choose it above things constantly. You see, my dad is a provider. We'd never lacked anything. We had food, it was a big family. We had food on the table. We had a roof over our heads. We never lacked anything. But as I got older, I realized that I lacked a relationship with my dad. There was a moment when I was younger, I was in sixth grade. And like you saw in that picture, we were at Disney because we are theme park people. We love going to the theme parks. We're pass holders. And so we go often. And so at this time I was in sixth grade, I must've been like 11 or 12 or however. And I remember that we were going to Disney for the first time. I was going to Disney without my family for the first time

and I was ready. I was excited. I was like, this is it. I'm ready. I have my clothes. I may have slept in my clothes. I was ready. And I remember the morning came and what happened was around that time, my mom had to leave to California because there was a death in the family. So she wasn't there. So I had to rely on my dad to take me. And I remember waking up, trying to wake up my dad. And I'm like, pa, like we have to go. And I could just, he was, he couldn't really wake up. And I didn't know if at the moment, if he was drinking the night before. You see, my dad worked overnight. He would work from 11 to 7 a.m. or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. So we didn't get to see him that often because he was a provider. He was getting it done. But for me, all I saw in that moment was he chose something else above me. And I remember the phone ringing and I'm like, yes, it's my mom. She's calling from California. She's going to wake him up. I'm going to get to go.

And I remember I went to the phone that was on the wall and I answered it. And I'm like, hello. I'm thinking it's my mom and it's the school. And they're saying, Jasmine, hi. You're the last, you're not here. Where are you? Why aren't you here? Are you still coming? And I remember feeling this overwhelming, like, oh my God, like they, I can't tell them about my dad. I just said, hey, you guys can go without me. And I just remember hanging up the phone. And I remember feeling like, man, why didn't my dad wake up? Why couldn't he just wake up? But what I didn't understand then that I do now was that my dad was battling his own issues in his own mind. He had his own things that he was dealing with. He told me that he would often feel isolated. He felt lonely. You see, the alcohol, the drug use, the lifestyle that he was choosing, it made him feel lonely. I don't know if that's you today. Maybe you've made some decisions not realizing the effect that it has on your family, the effect that it has on your kids. Because the truth is you're feeling so isolated and lonely, you don't even know that's happening.

But I wanna bring your attention to this next part. One of my favorite parts of this story is the revelation of time that Jesus was at the well. It's a moment where the Samaritan woman, she just thought she was coming at noon like she regularly does. This is routine for her to avoid the crowd in the morning. I can imagine she was just trying to separate so that she wouldn't feel the shame. You see, my dad, like I said, he said he would feel so lonely and so isolated in a room full of family. But he felt like he needed to own what he was doing. We know that the first thing the enemy tries to do though is to isolate you and keep you lonely, keep you alone so that he can be the one to say you're not worthy, so he could be the one to say you're not worthy of love. But let me tell you about Jesus. Come on, come on. In that very moment of isolation, Jesus gets to the well first. It's not a coincidence that he got there first because Deuteronomy 31, eight says, "'The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you.'" And no matter what your circumstance, your situation, what it looks like for you today, he's already there to meet you, right where you are. But he asked a question that requires more of her. What has God asked of you today? Maybe it's to leave your comfort of a job

and take a step of faith. Maybe he's asking you to submit and surrender that relationship, submit and surrender the situation, maybe the diagnosis, maybe the court order, whatever it is. He's asking you to submit and surrender. And I love this story because I love the dialogue between Jesus and the Samaritan women, because she kind of reminds me of me. I have questions. Like, how come what you promised me actually doesn't look like my reality? I have questions. She came with questions. Maybe you have some questions today. She's like, how could you ask me, a Samaritan woman? We don't really mess with the Jews. In modern day translation, that might sound like, how could you ask me to forgive when you heard what they said about me? Or maybe for you, it's like, you saw what they did to me. How do you want me to forgive my abuser? How do you ask me to forgive someone who hurt my family, who's rejected me? Maybe you've asked God questions like, how can I continue in this marriage? There's no hope. How could you ask me to give when I just have nothing? I have nothing. What has God asked of you today?

I want you to think about that for a second. Jesus will ask more of you because he desires more for you. And there's so much in this passage that we can see Jesus clearly. We can see him. We can see how he's speaking to her because the more clearly we see Jesus, the more faithfully we are to follow him. The second point that will help us see Jesus clearly today is that Jesus reveals our thirst so he can become the source. Verse 10 says, Jesus answered her, if you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water. You see here, Jesus is pointing directly to his identity. He's pointing directly to himself. The gift of salvation is himself. When she arrives at the well, what she might've saw was like a really tired old, he wasn't old, a really tired man who came from a long journey. I can imagine. Imagine Jesus was sweaty, I can imagine even dirty and their journey and the way she must have looked at him like how dare you? If only she saw that the man at the well was the savior of the world, that man from Galilee. If only she would have saw that Jesus can actually step in

and change the circumstance. We would see that he knows our needs before we even say them. How have you been seeing Jesus lately? Because how you view him will directly impact the way that you follow him. So if you see him like just a man, if you see him as someone who missed your timeline, if you see him as someone who always shows up late, if you see him as someone, you will never, you're gonna miss it and you won't follow him. But I don't want you to miss it today. Jesus answered, everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water, welling up to eternal life. How many times have we gone back to drink from other wells? I found myself being thirsty because I often went to other wells that never satisfied what my purpose required. I want us to take a look at what Jacob's well might signify for you. And I want you to see what Jesus provides. For Jacob's well, there could be a full dependency on your income. It says, I need this money to survive. This job made me, I have pride in what I do. This money belongs to me. It's a full dependency. Without that money, you feel like you're lost.

You have nothing. But on the other side, Jesus, who is the living water, Jaira, there's full provision in his name. You see, Philippians 419 says, and my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. In Jacob's well, you might find a full control of your timeline. I need to be married by this. I need to have kids by this. I need to succeed by this. But on the other side, Jesus is the author of time. John 1 3 says, through him, all things were made. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. For you, Jacob's well can be a dependency on man. I've put my trust in this relationship. I don't know who I am without that person. It is a dependency. My identity says I am that person. Without him, I don't know who I am. But I'm here to tell you that Jesus is the firm foundation. You see, Psalms 62 6, Psalms 62 6 says, truly, he is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress. I will not be shaken. Come on, say it. I will not be shaken. We will remain thirsty and return to other wells. If we're not confronted with our need for Jesus. You see, the other wells that you drink from will run dry,

but there's only one well that will satisfy because there's a living water in that well. Maybe you've been drinking from other wells. Maybe whatever it looks like for you today, it will never satisfy. In the next verses, Jesus confronts the Samaritan's woman's lifestyle. He starts to read her business. And I, at first, I felt like it was a bit harsh, but I now know that Jesus knew what she needed to understand. In other words, he tells her, go and get your husband, knowing that she doesn't have a husband. And then he says, oh, okay, I know that you don't have a husband. In fact, you've had five husbands. And the man that you're with now is not your husband. And you see, I was like, why, why is it? Why is it that he's revealing this to her? I know that you're trying to show her that you know who she is, that you are the Messiah. But there's another part that I think he's trying to show her is that her sins and her lifestyle do not disqualify her from being in Jesus's presence. In other words, what you do today, it doesn't disqualify you from being in the presence of God. In fact, it's not a disqualification. It's an invitation to be with the father. It's an invitation to be with Jesus. Your sin does not disqualify you.

I don't care what they say. It does not disqualify you from being in God's presence. You see, Jesus revealed. Her need for him, and he's revealing it to you right now. Your need for him, it doesn't disqualify you. It invites you in. Maybe you're like my dad who, he told me I wanted to change, so I would change for three weeks, but then I would go back to the other wells. But there was a tug at his heart. I've had my own tug. I want things to look exactly how I planned them to look, because I'm a little bit bossy. And so I've had a timeline for my life. I want to, I told God, at 25, I want to be married. And if you have, like, I'll give you some grace, 27 is fine. And then I want kids by 30, and I want to be done by 35. In fact, I'm just a little bossy. I asked Justin, my husband, the other day, do you think I'm bossy? And without hesitation, he said, yes. And I said, I have leadership skills, and I know how to use them. And I knew there was, I had control over my life. I went to college. I got a degree.

It's time for marriage. I had a timeline for my life, but I got married at 31. I don't have kids yet. But I had to surrender that. But before I surrendered that, I had to understand what was happening, what I was choosing. So similar to the Samaritan woman who had five husbands, I didn't have husbands, but I was getting from one relationship to the next one. So my first relationship was controlling. So I want a little bit more control. So I ended up leaving that one. And then I got one that abused me with his words. And then I got into another one and to another one. And I found myself in a cycle of relationships that would never satisfy, because I was drinking from wells that ran dry. And until God told me, he revealed the need that I had to be loved. And maybe I have a great relationship with my dad now, but before I don't think we had a relationship. I was almost afraid to talk about some things. So maybe the love that I felt like I lacked, I was probably looking for in other men and other guys. And I was choosing wrong and my whole family knew it, except for me. Until God invited me into his well, into his love that never runs dry.

And I don't know if that's for someone today that is looking to be loved, that's looking and searching for other wells, but I'm believing that today you will leave satisfied by the well of the living God. There's an invitation today because your sin doesn't disqualify you. The more clearly we see Jesus, the more faithfully we follow him. We can follow him fully. The third point in seeing him clearly is that Jesus will always invite you to worship the father. Verse 22 says, you Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know for salvation is from the Jews, yet a time is coming and has now come when true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshiper the father seeks. God is spirit for his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. You see, the thing is when we see Jesus clearly, we can begin to worship him because we know him. If you don't know him, then you can't worship him. If you don't know him, then you won't speak to him. But the more that we see Jesus clearly, the more faithfully we are to follow. I wanna tell you today that Jesus loves you. John 3, 16 says, for God so loved the world. He loves you.

First John 4, 19 says, we love because he first loves us. You see, Jesus will always pursue you before you pursue him. There's always a tug. He will always take the first step in your relationship with him. In other words, he will always get to the well first. The other, a few weeks ago, maybe like two weeks ago when I was talking to my father, my dad revealed to me that he was asking God to change his lifestyle. He wanted change, he just didn't know how. He would get that desire, but it would just consume him so much. And my parents at the time, they worked in Miami Beach. And in order to get to the hospital that they worked at, there was a few, there's like two large bridges that you have to get through to get there. he told me that one night he stopped he stopped at the bridge and he was thinking about everything and he said that he was ready to jump. I can imagine what he was thinking I can imagine maybe what you're thinking maybe if you're like my dad and you were on that bridge and you were ready to give it up because he was thinking about his life he was thinking about all the decisions that have brought him to that very moment you see my mom she is a praying woman and so home felt a lot like Judea and Samaria where my mom is at this well but my dad is drinking from other wells it felt a lot of tension and so for him it was like if I go back home we're just gonna fight again we're just gonna fight again we're just gonna fight again he's probably thinking about all all the things and he was ready to jump but I'm here to tell you that Jesus got to that bridge first Jesus was after him there was a pursuit in place an invitation maybe you walked in today you're like this is my last chance that I'm gonna

give God I'm coming to this church for one more chance to see if you're real to see if you're if you'll stop me from jumping and if that's you I want you to know that the same way Jesus tugged at my dad he's ready to tug for you there's a pursuit in place there's an invite in place if that's you maybe you're like my mom who's like I'm tired I don't want to I don't want to be in this marriage anymore I want you to know there's a pursuit in place you don't have to leave you don't have to jump keep coming back keep praying keep pursuing you don't need to leave he's inviting you in but through the years that my dad was dealing with his own struggles my mom was also dealing with hers and and a time came where my mom was on a mission trip to Argentina and my mom had an assignment she said I'm coming here but when I get back I'm getting a divorce I'm ready to walk away she knew it but God shows up first she said if he doesn't change I'm gone so while she was there the pastor begins to prophesy to her without even knowing who she was not a not an inkling not an idea on his own but the Holy Spirit breath he breathed the word and he said to her when you get back to the States you will come back to a new husband so what they did was they there was some worshipers in the building who were ready to worship the Father in spirit and in truth so what they did was they grabbed my mom and they began to lock arms with her and the pastor locked arms with her and what they did was they began to march around over the church they would go into circles they were going in circles and they were warring and they were worshiping the Father and I can't imagine what my mom felt like I can't imagine what those walk feels like cuz sometimes it feels like we've been going and going and going and nothing's changing but there was some true worshippers in the house that they were worshiping the Father in spirit and truth and they were believing that my life that my dad's life would be saved what my mom didn't know was that God had already been pursuing my dad there was an invitation to worship the Father on our side my mom was away my dad woke up differently he walked into our room and me and my sister we shared a room at the time and we were like what is he

doing here like what happened like is everything all right does he know he's in here like what's happening and he sat on the the edge of our bed and he said I don't want to live this life no more I don't want to drink no more I don't want to live this life no more I want Mati I want your mom I want my wife and so what happens is some worshipers in me and in my sister we got up and without hesitation we laid hands on my dad and we began to pray for him and we began to pray for him and we get we began to pray for my dad and to this day my dad said to me the other day I remember that prayer because something happens when we can worship the father in spirit and in truth and from that moment my dad has never been drunk again from that moment my dad gave it up from that very moment and if he could do it for me if he could do it for my dad he can do it for you he is surely to do it for you will you worship while you wait will you worship the father while you wait the invitation is here and it's now verse 28 says then leaving the water jar the woman went back to the town and said to the people come see a man who told me everything i ever did could this be the messiah oh could this be the savior of the world could this be the guy that changes my life forever could this be the moment where i no longer feel shame where i no longer feel the sin and the weight of it could this be the messiah and they came out of the town and they made their way toward him my last and final point to see jesus clearly so we can follow him fully is that jesus changes our story so our story can lead others to him jesus calls us to testify to testify of him to give testimony of what god has done so that we can follow him leaving her water jar she went and told her town leaving her water jar she went and told her town i'm gonna say it again leaving her water jar leaving what she knew leaving the jar leaving the well that she would come daily leaving the well that she thought satisfied she went and told the town of all that he's done will you leave the jar today maybe the jar is your ambitions it has to look the way you think it has to look what jar what well are you leaving behind today what has jesus asked you to leave behind is it addiction we'll call it out is it pornography is it shame is it guilt is it anxiety is it depression

whether your jar maybe maybe the well signifies a past version of yourself but you miss it you want it you desire it so you keep coming back to drink maybe you don't feel worthy so you go to the other you go you go other places you go to this well because you feel like this is what you're worth but i'm here to tell you today that there's a well that never runs dry there is a well that goes deep there is a well that will be like a spring of living water in your belly if you would just receive the living water he's inviting you today to stop returning to old wells that run dry and go to this well that will satisfy you. Luke 9 23 says then he said to them all whoever wants to be my disciple he didn't give a qualification he didn't say you gotta look like this he didn't say you can't sin like this he said whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me you see following Jesus may not always be easy because we're called to deny ourselves daily to deny ourselves from other wells to deny what we think is control and give it back to Jesus following him means that we're called to deny our flesh denying our flesh looks like choosing forgiveness over retaliation i need to get back because they need to know how much they hurt me i want to hurt them too following Jesus means forgiveness over retaliation would you stop going to the retaliation well following Jesus means others will be changed because of our yes it means that Jesus is the author and the finisher of our story so now that same story can lead others back to him verse 42 says they said to the woman we no longer believe you we no longer believe just because of what you said now we have heard for ourselves and we know that that man that man from galilee that man who had to stop in samaria we know that man is a savior of the world you see when they met jesus they invited him to stay two days longer so imagine what your surrender allows others to experience imagine what your surrender allows an overflow to happen and to the people around you that they want to stay near at son's conference my husband testified about how one night in jail saved his life and from that moment i saw men grown men come and give my husband a hug they hugged justin thank you so much for sharing thank you so much you impacted my life thank you so much because the power of the testimony of what jesus christ is doing in your life can and will affect the people around you will you testify of him will you allow him to rewrite your story i want to encourage you to think about what you're leaving at the well

what wells are you leaving behind if you're like my dad and maybe the samaritan woman who enjoyed being isolated to avoid the shame i want you to know that at history makers we have groups and in groups there's healing and in here in groups what happens is you begin to testify and you shut the devil up you begin to testify and now you're speaking truth of god it happens in groups you don't have to be isolated anymore you don't have to feel lonely anymore you don't have to feel like no one understands you anymore because there's a god who meets you at the well first he meets you at the well first if he did it in me he can do it in you and if he did it in my parents he can do it for you if he did it in my parents marriage he can do it for you 45 years come on it's not hard however there's a man from galilee who is the son of god who is the redeemer of the world who gets to the well first i want to seal this moment with two calls with two calls because the first call is to invite you to know this jesus to introduce you to this jesus that i've been talking about the one who's not afraid of your story there's no story too big there's no marriage too hard there's no family too complicated there's nothing that you can do that won't redeem you if you accept the invite to jesus today so if that's you and you want to accept jesus as your personal lord and savior if you want to meet that man at the well would you lift your hands up in this place three four five six seven eight nine i want to invite you to the family i want you to know that life will be so much better will you repeat this prayer would you guys all stand up across the room and repeat this prayer with me would you say father thank you for sending your son to die for me today today i commit to following you i commit to fall i repent from going my own way and i choose to follow you i choose to leave other wells behind and i choose to drink from the well that never runs dry today i will follow you for the rest of my life and i thank you in advance for all that you are and all that you will do in my life and as i testify in their lives too in the name of jesus welcome to the family welcome to the family heaven is rejoicing heaven is rejoicing with you In the 9 a.m. service, Pastor Terrence came and grabbed this mic and I want to share with you what he said because it was a revelation of what kind of wells we've

been having. You see when I was preparing for this I felt like the Lord showed me four different wells, four different jars, four different wells that we've been drinking from. But in this in this actual story when Jesus reads her business and says you've actually had five husbands, everyone say five, and the one that you're with now is not even your husband. So that's six and six is the number of man and so what happens is we've gone to other wells, five, the first well it didn't work out, the water wasn't good enough, the second well it wasn't good enough because you're looking for something that satisfies. So what happens is she's going from relationship to relationship kind of like me, finding someone who can love me. Maybe that's you today, you're going from one thing to the next, one thing to the next, one thing to the next and all of a sudden you're at the sixth thing and you still feel unsatisfied. But something happens when Jesus gets to the well first. What happens is the number seven is the number of completion. She met that seventh man that day, Jesus Christ, the living water that never runs dry. So maybe today you have some of those jars, maybe you feel like you've been rejected, maybe you feel like you're not worth it, you feel like you're just, there's no, I'm just not worthy of his love. I feel so much worthlessness. Maybe you feel like I've tried everything, I've tried every church, I still feel rejected, no one loves me. I want to cancel that lie of the enemy today and so that you can know that Jesus, if you weren't worthy, he wouldn't have died but he found you worthy because you are called and you are chosen for such a time as this. Maybe there's another jar that says, God I, I have pride, I'm proud, I need justice, I need, I deserve the justice and so you stay in this, in this, in this pride that's anchored to offense. You stayed in this pride that says, I actually don't have to forgive, they gotta forgive me. I mean they have to ask me for forgiveness and so you stay in this pride and Jesus is ready today to release you from it because he is your vindicator because he loves you more and maybe you're a mom or a dad or you're someone here today and you're carrying the weight of other people. You're carrying the weight of a marriage that you feel like there's no hope. I want you to know there's a well that does not run dry and if that's you today, I want you to boldly walk up here so that our minister team can pray. We're gonna break some things off of you

today because I'm believing that you will never have to drink from a well that runs dry. I'm believing today that you will drink from a well that satisfies your soul. One that is aligned to the purpose of God. One that is like a spring of living water flowing out of your mouth so that you would testify, so that you would speak of the goodness of God. If that's you today, would you come up? Would you come up? Would you come up? Come on, would you come up? And as you come up, I want to pray for you because I believe that God is about to break something off of your life. Are you ready? Because the chains are about to fall. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for sending your son, oh God. I thank you for sending your son, oh Jesus, so that we would have access to you. I thank you for sending your son, Jesus, so as these things, these jars, these wells fall off God, I'm believing that you would replace it with your spirit. You would replace it with your power. You would replace it with your love, oh God. Right now, in the name of Jesus, I'm declaring and I'm believing that the wells that run dry Come on, Holy Spirit, I declare that you would move in, oh God, that you would establish residence in their heart, oh God, Lord, that things begin to shift, things that no longer fit because your Spirit is there, that they begin to fall, I declare over timelines in control, Father, I declare over my life, oh God, Lord, that I would submit to you, that I would surrender, and that I would worship in the waiting, I will worship in the waiting, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, oh, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, Jesus over your family, Jesus over your children, Jesus over your life, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Hit me with that one. Yeah. I just want to march when I hear that. She tried five men, couldn't find what she was looking for. I don't know how many times you tried, but you can't find the answer. But Jesus didn't expose her for any other reason, not for rejection, but he was giving an invitation for transformation.

So some of us fear going to the world thinking, what if people knew? That's not the question. The question is, I need God to know. No, I need God to know, because God said, you tried five men, and in fact, the one you're sleeping with right now is not your husband. So you've lived under a name and a narrative that the world speaks over your life and says, I know who you are. You're a slut. You're a, you're cheap. You've been abused. That's it. You are addicted. That's who you are. You're a drunk. You're a cheater. So the world will label you all these things that you fear going to the world. You're lazy. I don't know what names have been spoken over your life, but when you come to the world of living water, there is a fresh pouring out. of rivers of living water that flows out over your life you see jazz's dad could have lived under the label oh i'm a i'm addicted now i'm an alcoholic and he was trying so many wells to try and satisfy but then he found not the fifth not the sixth six is the number of man seven is the number of lead me to the world lead me to the world According to the Bible Flowing water flowing The river coming Flowing water coming Rushing when a riding storm comes Broaching when a riding storm comes Broaching from the well Flowing water's flow, yeah Living water's flow Stream from the well That does not run dry

There was something that happened when the baby in Mary and the baby in Elizabeth, they got together. And when like felt like, something in the spirit jumped. The baby's jumped, leaped. There is a leaping happening in some people's spirit right now. And you don't know what that groaning is. That's you sensing the spirit of God. Because the Bible says, deep calls out to deep and spirit calls out to spirit. So in this moment when the rivers of living water, there's an open heaven and when the rivers of living water start to flow You've just got to

Water, water, when they pierced Jesus in the side out of him flowed blood and Water, water, so water is the basis for life So Jesus says in John 10 10. I have come that you might have life and life more Okay, so some of you are living the life diminishingly Some of you are living the life just kind of enough. God says I'm the God of More than enough so he took them out of slavery because there was a place of not enough Some of you have settled for the wilderness which is a place of Just enough but God says The well Get in it Get like fight your way. I can't fit get in it. I'm gonna work it so I can get in it I gotta get in the well Because the well is a person His name's Jesus and he says don't settle for sitting outside of the well Get inside the well Some of you been sitting in the waters, but you've been standing in the boat Yeah, and you're watching all the people step out of the boat and you are Let other people get in the waters There's living waters here. There's answers for the prayers To the father in heaven and he says today is the day not to stay ankle-deep It's the day not to stay waist deep But we need to be a church and a people that have decided as for me and my house
