It's about coming before the Lord and laying down our lives in a service to Him and giving that to Him. Our service is a time to surrender all of our lives. We're going to take a few moments to allow us all to get right with the Lord, to really repent, to think about our mindsets. I think that it's a perfect opportunity for us to really look back on our days, look back on our lives, figure out why we're here, what we came here for. If we came with just the same attitude of, well, this is just church and that's what we do. Or if we came because we have something to give to the Lord. So we're just going to go ahead and take those moments now. We're going to ask for forgiveness. I encourage everyone to repent and to ask for forgiveness because the Bible is very clear on how important it is to take communion correctly. So for the next couple of minutes or moments, let's all do that. Amen. 1 Corinthians 11, 23 through 26 says, On the same night in which he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took the bread. And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me. Let's take the bread. In the same manner, he also took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood. This do as often as you drink in remembrance of me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till he comes. Take the cup. God, we just thank you for your sacrifice that you made for us. We thank you for your son. We thank you for the opportunity to become part of your family. Lord, we thank you for this wonderful church family that we have and the opportunity that we have to be able to worship you every time we gather. Lord, I pray that we take it seriously and that we find reverence in everything that we do. Lord, I pray over this church body that you bless everyone. Lord, I thank you for being faithful in our lives. I thank you that you never fail. Lord, I think that you thank you that you're with us.

Lord, I just pray all of this and I ask you to forgive us for anything we've done. Lord, I just pray that you look down on us and you see your children and that we are pleasing to you.
